Hii, I love your work sm and I wanted to know if I could request headcanons on how mk1 characters (preferably Liu Kang, Raiden, and Lin Kuei brother) react to an s/o with sh scars??? (Something I deal with personally)

I know it may be an uncomfortable topic to write so it’s okay if you decline, I’ll understand :)

“WHEN THEY SEE YOUR SCARS” MK MALE CHARACTERS

A/N: Ngl, I wanted to write something about this a week ago. Unfortunately, last weekend I slipped up after being two months clean of sh. I have Bipolar 2 so I very easily can slip up more. This is just to comfort people like me. If you have a problem with this, please just scroll past this one

MASTERLIST

MORTAL KOMBAT 1 CHARACTERS

Liu Kang

He doesn’t really understand at first. He tries to think that maybe you had gotten those wounds from a sparring incident. Maybe you had just gotten hurt too bad. That couldn’t of been the case. The wounds clearly looked self inflicted. They were indeed not from something or someone else.

He wanted to ask you about them as carefully as he could though. This was a delicate situation. Then he thought that maybe he shouldn’t even ask you. He should make you comfortable with telling him first. He didn’t want to scare you off.

While you did dishes, Liu Kang came up behind you. He touched both your arms gently that had the overwhelmingly amount of scars on them. Your sleeves covered it. You froze a little when he did this. He then began to rub your arms soothingly and he kissed your face with all the love in the world. “You know I love you right, my love?” That broke you. Liu Kang held you in his arms tightly as you cried in his chest.

Raiden

He jumps into it right away. He doesn’t really think of the best way to handle it because he’s too worried about you. Raiden grips your arm and forces your sleeve up. “What is this?” You snatch your arm away from him. “It’s nothing.” You try to walk away from him but Raiden won’t let you.

Raiden grabs your arm again and makes you stand in place. You’ll try to fight against his hold but Raiden will not back down. “Stop.” He says. He’ll bring you in his chest and wrap his arms around you. “I love you.” He’ll say it over and over again while kissing you as you break down and cry.

He knows you need help and he will deal with that later but right now he will make sure that you know he loves you.

Johnny Cage

He feels like he’s the least bit qualified to handle something like this. He doesn’t know how to bring up the topic. Usually, Johnny uses serious situations with his charming humor but this wasn’t one of those situations. He knew this wasn’t the time for his jokes.

Johnny will start off by saying “You know you can trust me right?” You look at him a little bit confused. “Yeah. Why?” Johnny nods and will turn away from you. “No reason.” And for the day he’ll leave it at that.

This will continue for some time because he genuinely does not know how to handle this situation at all. That is until he comes home from the movie set and he sees you depressed in bed. He’ll lay in the bed with you. He’ll kiss you on your forehead and will then touch your arm with the long sleeve that had your scars on it. “I know.” He brings you closer to his chest. “I’m sorry, doll.”

Bi-Han

He also jumps into right away. He’s a very impulsive individual so he’s not really thinking straight. He’ll grab your arm and force your sleeve up. He’s confused though because he is not familiar with self harm at all. “What is this? How did you get these?”

You snatch your arm from him and roll the sleeve back up. “Got into an accident. That’s it.” “You didn’t tell me that.” “I’m sorry, I didn’t know I had to tell you everything.” Bi-Han notices your snippy behavior but for the first time, he does not indulge in it.

The next time, Bi-Han notices the scars when you come out the shower. He sees the scars now on your thighs. “What is that?” He’ll try to touch them but you push him away telling him they were from sparring. He’s no idiot. He now knows what you’re doing. “Why are you doing that to yourself?” You start to cry and have a breakdown. Bi-Han sighs and will bring you into a hug. Trying to comfort you the best he can but he’s not the best at it.

MORTAL KOMBAT 11 CHARACTERS

Kano

He feels like time has stopped for him. He’ll slowly drink his beer as he looks at them. He knows he’s an asshole but he’s so in love with you, it hurts. He doesn’t know how to go about it without sounding like he doesn’t care.

Kano will slowly touch on your arm where the scars are at. You look at him and down to your arm. For you, time has also stopped because how are you suppose to explain to your boyfriend of what you been doing?

The two of you don’t say a word. Kano starts rubbing on your scars. He finishes the beer in his hand and he sets it down on the counter. “Why are you doing that?” He knows it’s a stupid question but he doesn’t know what to say. When he sees you start to cry, he’ll pull you into a hug. “Come on, love. You know I care about you.”

Shao Kahn

He’s the last person to understand what is on your arm. He thinks somebody had did it to you. “Who did this? I will soak the sands with their blood.” You couldn’t help but chuckle a little and grabbed your arm from him. “Just got too carried away with sparring. Nothing major.” He doesn’t think you lied to him because well to him, you know better.

Shao Kahn only now puts the puzzle pieces together when he sees more appear on your thighs. You had been wanting to have intimacy with the lights off and he didn’t think anything of it but now he understood. He doesn’t know what to say.

He is not the kindest man in the world. Not at all but he did love you with all his heart. He rubbed on the scars and kissed you deeply. “Stop.” Is all he says.

Noob Saibot

He catches on quick. There’s no confusion within him. Especially because you were showing signs of the nature. He just doesn’t know how to go about it without being a dick.

“You should stop that.” He told you. You looked at him a bit confused. “Stop what?” “You know what.” It catches you off guard because you didn’t think that Bi-Han would figure it out.

Bi-Han is not used to this emotion nor is he good with comforting people. “Do you want a hug?” He asked. Crying, you nodded and went to hug him. Surprisingly for cold death, he was warm.

MORTAL KOMBAT X CHARACTERS

Takeda Takahashi

He is in absolute shock. He’s on it immediately though. He doesn’t wait for anything fearing that if he does wait, worse will happen. He grabs your arm and examines it fully. “What is this?” You try to take your arm away but Takeda won’t let you.

“Baby, why?” Takeda asked with his own tears in his eyes. He thinks that he did something wrong. That he isn’t making you happy. “Did I do something wrong? Are you not happy because of me?”

You immediately tell him no that it’s not him. Takeda pulls you into a hug. “I love you so much. Please, don’t do this.” He’ll hold you like his life depends on it and refuses to let go of you. Even when the two of you stop crying.

Hi! Speaking of requests - can I ask for your hcs on Rolan and physical touch? I feel like he's touch-starved but of course would hide it and deny it. Could be sfw or nsfw, however you prefer!

i completely agree that rolan's touch-starved, so this series of headcanons started from that and kinda bloomed into it's whole own thing. i hope you enjoy!

in general-

when you're fighting for your life in hell and then desperately trying to survive the long road from elturel to baldur's gate, some little things fall to the wayside. like processing your emotions, or safe and healthy self-reflection. subsequently, rolan doesn't realize he's touch-starved until he arrives in baldur's gate.

the first inkling he gets is when his apprenticeship to Lorroakan starts. it's the time he's spent away from Cal and Lia in a long while. while at first he enjoys the novelty of privacy and his own room, he's used to laying sandwiched between the two through the night, while Cal snores and Lia tosses and turns.

he sleeps like shit, those first few nights in the tower. the only thing that eventually gets him to sleep is when he starts collapsing into his bed from exhaustion, between working the front counter at Sorcerous Sundries and dealing with Lorroakan's... everything.

it starts to dawn on him with time, the absolute lack of friendly touch in his life. there's no cackling Lia leaning on his shoulder and tugging at his robes, straightening the silver of his apprentice's mantle. there's no fretting Cal, pressing food into his hands or gently nudging his side when he starts getting snippy.

in turn, there's nobody for him to fret over. he can't grab the back of Lia's robes before she charges into danger or trips over her own feet, he can't help Cal with his hair in the morning or ruffle his little brother's hair.

he should be reveling in the freedom, but it's just.

lonely.

he hates the fact he's lonely, he hates the fact he misses a time in his life that was so difficult for him and his family

i can totally see it being a bit of a wake-up call for him, when he realized he'd rather risk his life on the road with his siblings, rather than serve as Lorroakan's apprentice.

the issue doesn't get resolved until Lorroakan's dead, and his sibling move into the tower. thankfully, Rolan isn't put into a position where he needs to verbalize his loneliness. he and his siblings end up kind of clinging to each other - sleeping in the same room, fussing over each other more than necessary - until the netherbrain's defeat, when there isn't an immediate threat to their lives looming on the horizon

casually-

Rolan can be surprisingly touchy. it's an act that's constrained to the ones he loves and very close friends (primarily Cal and Lia, but Tav slips in there too), and he usually disguises it as fussing or his big-brother instincts.

with Lia, he's surprisingly playful. poking, prodding, the occasional horn-grab when she's being particularly annoying. those two can argue like no tomorrow, but it's almost always followed up by a friendly punch to the shoulder.

he's a little gentler with Cal, which stems from the fact both he and Lia view him as the little brother. ruffling his hair, straightening his leather jerkin. very rarely, when he accomplishes a difficult spell, or Cal accomplishes something cool - they'll shamelessly exchange high-fives. Lia almost always calls em both dorks.

with Tav? Tav's a fringe case. they're the only person outside his siblings he can call his friend, which is terribly embarrassing for an Archmage. So Rolan basically vacillates between hot and cold.

he won't go out of his way to find reasons to touch them, he's careful to maintain his and Tav's personal space. they had a tadpole in their head, he doesn't want to accidentally cross any lines about newly-held bodily autonomy. but if the excuse arises from circumstance? well. he'd be remiss to not to comfort his friend.

he fusses, like with Lia and Cal. it's probably a good thing, since Tav has a tendency to throw themselves headfirst into all sorts of danger, and that probably doesn't change post-netherbrain.

he'll clap a hand on their shoulder when they come by Sorcerous Sundries, guide them to sit down and take some time in his office to chat and catch up. gods know when the last time they slowed down - it's his way of insuring they stay out of danger, for at the last half hour they can sit still.

he'll inquire about their business, happily make them a cup of tea, sit down nearby on a sofa or chair. not enough to edge into their personal space, but within easy reaching distance. their cup is never empty, and his fingers will brush theirs when he moves to refill their tea.

if Tav's upset for whatever reason, he won't hesitate to offer a shoulder to cry on, or even a hug. Tav saved his life multiple times over, he'll offer whatever little comforts he can - while silently swearing to hex whoever made them cry. his quiet grumbles make Tav laugh, and he counts that as a win.

if rolan has romantic feelings for tav-

Hahahahaha ohno.

he was hot and cold beforehand? now he's just hot. like, constantly blushing, genuinely delighted to see Tav and seemingly incapable of being chill about it. he's needy, and in terrible denial about it.

his fussiness gets turned up to a 10, and through the right lens, it's almost protective. the friendly hand on Tav's shoulder turns into 'whenever they're in his immediate vicinity'. friendly pats, guiding hands on their back or elbow if they're maneuvering through a crowd

A lot of things are offered under the guise of being a gentleman. if they're somewhere in public with notable people, he'll offer his arm to 'escort' them. he's the Archmage of Ramazith's Tower accompanying the Hero of Baldur's Gate, it's the least he can do!

i like to imagine Rolan thinks he has perfect control over his tail, when in reality, it's the exact opposite. he subconciously emotes all the goddamn time.

this a big problem, when he's interacting with Tav, because they're (a) his friend, and (b) his crush. it tends to curl in the space between them when Tav stands nearby, and if they're sitting down it'll loop around their ankle without him noticing. the spade typically won't stay still, and it's usually Tav's giggling as it flicks over their skin that clues him in to his faux-pas.

he ends up spending a lot of time lying about tiefling body language if Tav's not one.

if they are? Well. He practically invents a new shade of red with how deep he blushes

it really isn't hard to tell rolan has feelings for you, because he's kinda. all over you, seeking physical touch in a way that supersedes what he's expressing with his words. just don't tell him, bc he'll probably spontaneously combust and then never leave the tower, ever again

when the confession finally comes? he's stuttering and red-faced, but he manages the words, and when Tav wraps their arms around his neck, he just. kinda collapses, wrapping his arms around their waist, burying his face in their hair, purring up a storm. he's spent too long dreaming about the way they would feel against him to maintain any pretenses of being above it all.

in a relationship-

finally finally finally, Rolan can be needy without excuse or embarrassment.

learning Tav returned his feelings was genuinely a relief, because he wasn't sure how long he could maintain the facade. like he wasn't already blatantly transparent in the first place buddy

if they're in his vicinity, He's Touching Them

holding their hand, wrapping his tail around their ankle, gently embracing them from behind while they're making dinner. If you sit in separate chairs, he's scooting closer so he can nudge your knee with his own under the table, or caress their thigh.

Tav's not even safe when sleeping. Rolan will migrate across the bed through the night to find them. please be prepared to wake up in a tangle of limbs, with tails and horns in uncomfortable places.

Given how big Rolan is with physical affection, it's no surprise it's one of his biggest love languages as well, in terms of receiving. please, give him affection.

this man melts for the little things. like when Tav strokes his hand with their thumb when holding hands, or carding their fingers through his hair, or scratching at the base of his horns

it's embarrassingly easy to get him to start purring

the thing that gets him to blurt out 'i love you' for the first time, probably no more than a month into the relationship, was when Tav came up behind him and started working his shoulders after a long day hunched over his desk

Ep 8 spoilers!

Hes pretty close with Alastor. They don't talk on a daily basis or stuff like that, but if either of them ever get in a tough spot, they will be there right away. Zestial is also a fangirl of Alastors radio show

Doesn't use them, but this guy has the biggest swear vocabulary in existence

acts as a father figure to Carmillas girls when they need fatherly advice

He likes the idea that Charlie has for the Hazbin Hotel, even though he isn't involved, he hopes that Charlie can succeed in getting Sinners into heaven

Has tried to play the piano. Sucks at it. Actually so fucking bad.

He spent a few days helping to rebuild the hotel

Was pretty worried about Alastor once he found out that he was missing

Sees Carmilla like a daughter

He has a natural opinion on the Vees, neither likes or dislikes them, but he does see lots of potential in their magic and power if they put it to good use

He loved playing cards with Husk back when he was an overlord, he lost track of him after his fall from power, but once he found out Husk was at the Hotel, he now visits for a game every now and again

There arnt that many Sinners left in hell that are as old as he is (he died in the Stuart era im assuming, due to his speech patterns. That's 16-1700s) but he is pretty friendly with the ones that died around the same time as him

He enjoys 1920-30s Jazz (Alastor introduced him to it)

He isn't a cannibal, but he enjoys to visit Cannibal Town because of how shockingly kind they all are

He doesn't own as many souls as other overlords, and the ones he does own, he treats with commen human decency. He only really gets rough or snippy with him if they try to take advantage of his kindness

writer's blurp: hc that the boys have a subtle way of making other demons stay away from you whenever they're not around via scenting.

↳ Lucifer

out of his brothers, Lucifer is the most subtle in how he goes about placing his scent on you.

Lucifer's scent on you is always light, but it clings to your clothes when he stops you. something being out of place is what he tells you.

it doesn't happen often, so when Lucifer stops you to adjust your collar, and when he is sure that your jacket is sitting squarely on your shoulders.

sometimes it takes a moment, but once he is pleased that everything is perfect he sends you away with a gentle pat.

he's scent is also subtly weaved its way into his brother's natural scents-- it soothes Lucifer.

his scent is the easiest to pick up by other lower-level demons. even with his brother's scents clinging to you. a silent, but clear warning to not touch you.

↳ Mammon

Mammon's scent seems to be a part of your person at this point. others call him bold with how he scents you, but the two of you are just together often enough for this to happen.

Mammon hardly has to scent you in front of someone or find an excuse to do so. he's in your space so often that his scent is just a permanent residence.

having his scent on you is comforting to Mammon. when he throws his arm over your shoulder or pulls you in for a hug to find how nicely his scent mingles with yours and makes his brain happy.

his scent is like a body spray that clings to your clothes. it's enough to steer anyone wanting to cause a problem.

↳ Leviathan

Leviathan isn't one to consider himself bold enough to just outrightly scent you, but it's an action that helps to soothe his nerves if he's not having a good day.

so whenever he either notices that he's doing this or his brothers point it out Leviathan becomes a cute little mess over it. because he's not trying to claim your person as his own, it just happens!!! he swears!!!

his envy will only play a part in scenting when his own scent is too faint or if someone dared to try and rub their scent over his own. others often forget how powerful he is, and if his scent isn't enough of a reminder then the one who was so bold needs a reminder.

his scent is like holding hands, soothing in its own way and a reminder that you are someone he sees as important in his life.

↳ Satan

tries to be the most sneaky about scenting you, almost like Lucifer, but in his own special way that wouldn't raise any eyebrows or questions if you truly asked what he was doing.

Satan is always careful about scenting you, but sometimes he slips up and just simply allows himself to truly scent you properly rather than being sneaky.

an action that always makes you smile, and sometimes giggle which makes Satan simply lean more into scenting you. losing himself momentarily at the sound and sight of your joy.

he can get snippy whenever anyone points it out, especially Lucifer, but he will often deny it despite how he will rub his wrist against yours all while doing so.

Satan's scent is similar to his books. ancient, comforting, and powerful a clear warning to those, not his brothers or those close to Satan outside of his family with the clear message being to stay away from you.

↳ Asmodeus

is the least subtle about scenting you, but if his closeness should ever truly bothers you he will stop. even if he truly wants to finish scenting you properly.

Asmodeus scents you because he really and truly adores you. his family's special person. Asmodeus scents you because he sees you as a part of their family, even if he hasn't had a chance to paint your nails to truly make it official.

if his scent is pointed out by his brothers he isn't ashamed of it. he just smiles, all cute and happy when he says that it makes you smell like he's welcoming you into their family. no one says anything, the feeling is mutual.

his scent reminds others of his baths, fragrant, but a scent that clings to one's skin. a clear warning to stay away from how it clings to your skin.

↳ Beelzebub

Beelzebub's scent sticks to you from his clothes. you are absolutely swimming in his clothes which tickles a part of his brain just right that he just can't help, but pick you up and nuzzle his face in your hair.

Beelzebub is unaware of how his scent has subtly been clinging to your person until he is laying in bed with you during movie nights with you, Mammon, and Levi. his scent seems to be just as strong in your bed as Mammon's scent is.

you sit there wrapped in his jacket, leaning against Mammon whose chin is resting on your head, Levi's tail wrapped around your leg, while you card your hand through his hair and with your free hand hold onto his.

seeing you wrapped up in his clothes and his scent mingling with your own and his brother's is so comforting. Beel cannot resist just trying to push himself closer to you. which he does, and Mammon makes a fuss but just grumbles with Beelzebub pulling the two of you into a hug.

his scent is very much like the hugs he pulls you into. comforting there and if you should ever need it willingly given.

↳ Belphegor

Belphegor seems to subconsciously scent you when the two of you either sleep together or doze off with one another. even if it's just his head on your lap or shoulder.

Beelzebub is actually the one to bring it up since his scent clings heavily to your person. despite how Belphegor will deny it, saying that he doesn't have a reason to scent you while Beel just smiles at him.

is honestly the most startled to realize that he's been scenting you. the two of you did not start your true relationship on the best foot or the best impression of his character.

not after what he did, but... he still scented you. he shouldn't scent you, but he does it feels wrong to not do it even after trying to actively avoid doing it. Belphegor feels like he can't relax, that he can't sleep unless he lets himself have this one little selfish, greedy thing to feel at ease. once he stops fighting it his own body is able to feel settled once more.

it is comforting. to have his scent on you and even more to smell how his brother's scents mingle on your person. helps him to sleep much easier, knowing that you are safe and knowing his brother's scents are mixed with his own make this doubly so.

his scent is like a warm blanket, comforting and present. a reminder that you are safe with him, and a reminder to others that he won't show those who aim to harm you mercy.

Part 2 of this headcanon which was bouncing around my head and which @redwolf0413 freed

Alastor, for all he rags on Lucifer for being upset with him for what dream!Al, does the same. Or, well he’s only really done it once but the drama he caused was far more than any the blond had. The dream in question was one where Lucifer ended up being charmed by Vox, stopped supporting Alastor, and trash-talked several topics that Alastor trusted him with.

The deer demon was livid about it. It didn’t matter that he knew the king wouldn’t use those things against him. It didn’t matter that Vox was quite literally the person he was angry about Alastor interacting with. Doesn’t matter that no longer supporting him would hurt Charlie. None of it matters. He was just angry.

So angry that he, much like his partner, refused to talk and was very snippy with everyone else. But he is aware that he’s being hypercritical which is part of why he refuses to talk. Eventually, someone makes a comment comparing his behavior to Lucifer’s and he stiffens, which gives him away. Lucifer is a little annoyed about this. Because he knows how it feels, and it makes sense but at least he tells Alastor so they can fix it. After several attempts to get it out of him, the others give up. Alastor clearly isn’t going to be talking to them anytime soon. Charlie makes up an excuse to send the pair of them off to an empty part of the Hotel, hoping that if it's just the two of them, Alastor will talk.

They get to the room they’re supposed to be setting up. Alastor is still ignoring the king. Lucifer is getting exasperated. Neither of them noticed the drone outside the window. Why is there a drone you might ask?

Well, this is after the accidental broadcast incident and Vox is determined to find out who this mysterious fake rival is. Lucifer is behind a pillar, putting up décor, so he’s not in frame. Alastor is because he’s a drama queen who refuses to help. Lucifer finally gets him to talk by mentioning how he’ll do anything in his power to fix whatever dream!him did. Alastor immediately lets it out and snaps about what happened.

Vox scrambles to turn the audio on the drone, cursing Velvette for convincing him that he was being dumb having them at full power and completely on at all times. By the time he gets it working, and the drone close enough to hear, Alastor is finishing his rant. “And that is the kind of slight I cannot forgive!” Vox is thrilled. If this is the supposed worthy rival, they’re screwed up really badly! Worse than even Vox had when they had their falling out.

He can’t hear the other person, and seriously? Again? Do they have some kind of muffle voice magic?

“Well yes, I know it’s a misunderstanding! But it’s still unforgivable! …. Yes, he is. I know! I am well aware that I am not being reasonable! Do you think I’m happy about it?…… No, but……. I suppose you're right. What? No comment about how you're right?…. That’s sweet of you. You are disgustingly sweet, you know that?…… Hmmm yes, you did promise that, didn’t you? A risky thing, to promise to do anything to fix this….. What if I asked you to swear to me, with a binding promise, not to interact with him?…. It is not unreasonable!…… Well fine, I suppose never interacting is extreme. How about never taking his side?…… When would that even happen?….. Oh! I do like that wording! Yes, a binding promise for that will do.”

Vox is outraged. How dare Alastor do this? Agree to forgive something he swore he never would, letting the perpetrator have a say in the terms of forgiveness. To be so open and willing to explain why he was upset with them.

Things he had never given Vox the chance to do. He’s furious, and shorts out the power, as well as the drone. This draws RadioApple’s attention, and they go to tell the others. Alastor, feeling much better though still mad at Vox, volunteers to visit the Vees to see what they’re up to. Velvette calls Vox when the Radio Demon gets there, unaware that she should handle the situation. Vox comes up and just starts screaming at the other.

LIGHTNING & DOC FATHER/SON HEADCANONS(HUMANIZED)?!? REAL?!:

Im so sorry there aren’t too many 😭 for some reason I’ve been struggling with concepts so if I think of any good ones later, I’ll add them back here! I hope you like these my friend!

- In my AU at least, Lightning never had a stable home-life, constantly jumping from foster home to foster home and sometimes said foster homes wouldn’t be the best. I’d assume thanks to his unfortunate circumstances, he never really had anybody take care of him until Mack and Doc arrived- even then there was only so much Mack could do or say in fear of getting fired or something.

- Doc loves Lightning(this is obvious), but the kid cannot cook for the life of him so whenever Lightning does something nice for Doc and makes food for him, and it ends up genuinely being shit or inedible, Doc will still eat it anyways because of how happy Lightning looks when he does.

- Lightning’s love language is gifts and making things for other people(even if he thinks he’s good at it, but really isn’t). I’d imagine Doc has a lot of random nicknacks and bracelets from Lightning lmao.

- I think that the first time Lightning accidentally called Doc Dad he got so scared and embarrassed that he fucking bolted out the door, ran to his 95, and raced outta town like a bat out of hell. He’s like “fuck I can’t go back and show my face! Doc’s gonna think I’m weird or something!!!!” But then doc’s like,”You think of me as a dad?! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰” and immediately goes out after Lightning and brings him home- possibly having a heart to heart or something.

- Doc will do very small things that mean the world to Lightning, such as taking him to the store with him, going on small trips with him, just generally making Lightning feel wanted and just spending time with him.

- This one’s not necessarily Lightning and Doc only and is sorta canon, but Doc is everyone’s father 💀💀💀. Doesn’t matter who you are, as soon as you step foot in Radiator Springs once and you plan to stay for more than half an hour, then you are his kid. You have been adopted.

- Doc gave Lightning a bedtime. And Lightning was not happy abt it 😭. Lightning, despite being a mostly functioning adult, was still taking horrible care of himself(likely due to Harv’s harmful teaching and shitty “philosophies”. Fuck that guy) and would go to bed at seriously ungodly hours, even during race weekends which was a no no for obvious reasons. There was also the fact that Lightning got snippy and short whenever he didn’t sleep and everyone on the team was simply too nice to say anything until Doc did. I’d imagine it was because Lightning decided it would be a good idea to mouth off to the man after a race that went awry and he said stuff he didn’t mean. Doc would likely then realize the kid needed to have a nap before he collapsed or whatever then magically after said nap he was a bit better. Doc then decided that the kid’s bedtime would be 10:30 on the dot. Lightning, deciding he was an adult, complained to the man to which Doc replied with how shitty the kid had been acting which led to Lightning having a realization and leading to him apologizing his team who were more than forgiving and understood.

- Lightning’s a fuckingn iPad kid and Doc knows it and uses it to his advantage 💀💀. Whenever Doc just needs a second to himself or wants to disappear without worrying Lightning(a note or two would be written and left on the counter as well) he’ll leave a documentary- likely about prehistoric animals or modern animals- playing on the TV that will invest Lightning until Doc gets back.

- While having a stable father figure is new to Lightning, having a son-figure is for Doc as well. After Lightning called him dad, Doc has been reading every parenting guide book and news article and children’s mental health guide he could get his hands on. He didn’t want to mess up with the kid and he was still young(Doc knew Lightning didn’t have an all-too stable home-life, why else would he never talk to his parents or family members if he even had any?) and decently impressionable- plus there was all that deep-rooted shit Harv fucked Lightning up with. Doc did not want to hurt the kid and so he did his best with what he could, but it was hard since Lightning wasn’t exactly a child. Doc does his best anyways.

- Doc always gives 101% of his attention to Lightning, even when he’s physically doing something else such as making coffee. Doc loves listening to Lightning’s sometimes nonsensical rambles and rants about dinosaurs(Lightning is 100% a Dinosaur kid I know one when I see one for I am also one) and will listen when he starts nervously rambling about them during a race as well. He’ll always listen to his rants and stories, doing his best to keep up with the youngster. He’s glad Lightning loves sharing his interests with him and everyone in Radiator Springs. Lightning himself loves that he’s allowed to just keep talking all he wants and so he does, but he doesn’t have to “make sure” they’re still listening like he’d have to with Harv or shitty old friends of his because they’d all be paying attention anyways, even while busy. It made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

- Doc teaches Lightning how to do DIY shit or how to fix things(aside from cars. I’d imagine they bond on that. Maybe this one can be changed to Doc taught Lightning about the insides of a car? Like “if you wanna race, you can’t just know the pedals and wheel. You gotta know everything about your car” or something. Little lesson yk?) like doorframes or putting together IKEA furniture(screaming and crying). I’d imagine he loves teaching Lightning how to do woodshop and Lightning loves making little sculptures.

- For his first Father’s Day in Radiator Springs, Lightning decided to get the entire town involved since he wasn’t entirely sure what Doc liked and didn’t like that he could get the man. With his little dilemma, he went to everyone in the town getting input from everybody- some ranging from getting Doc an entire new tool kit or some sort of organizer thing to a nice set of overalls Doc could wear when fixing up the Hornet or working on projects. I like to think that maybe the entire town also get him things and nicknacks since everybody realized how much of a father Doc was. I think Lightning would be like,”fuck what do I get him 😰😰” Sally would be like,”BRO JUST GET HIM SOMETHING. HE’LL LOVE IT EITHER WAY ESPECIALLY IF IT COMES FROM YOU!” And then he decides to get Doc everything the others said anyways to which Doc is surprised and proves Sally right by saying something like,”Kid, you’re the only gift I need.” Or something corny. Maybe even like,”Kid, these are all wonderful, but you didn’t have to get all of these just for me.” Or sumn. Doc 101% uses all of the items everyday tho.

asdfadkjdfj my man!! here are some hcs bc i cant keep my mouth shut about him for longer than ten minutes-

(for those who missed the ask-) he worked out to have pecs instead of getting top surgery but he does still think about it sometimes bc he's curious about how that wouldve changed his life

he constantly thinks about getting a chest tattoo- whether that's his mk11 "JOHNNY" tattoo or a chest mural as an homage to kenshi's body murals, he doesnt know, but he wants one

on a similar note, he has a few smaller tattoos that only a few people know about- like a small raven he got stick and poked by a friend in high school and more recently a small "TK" on his hip bone (kenshi has a "JC" hidden behind his ear under his hair)

got laser hair removal in his bikini area for movie purposes but also bc he just prefers to be hairless-

he loves shaving his beard though, it's his favorite morning ritual along with the rest of his skincare- also offers to shave kenshi's beard just bc he likes doing it, has an old fashioned razor and solid shaving cream to do it too since he thinks it works better

doesnt really like packing bc he feels like he walks weird and he doesnt love the weight at the front of his pants, but he will sometimes for interviews or when he'll be noticeably flat on camera

some period hcs:

his periods are AWFUL- he has debilitating cramps, gets headaches, gets light sensitivity, and is very easily overstimulated by noise and lights- kenshi is always very helpful and patient with him when he gets snippy but he feels real bad about it afterwards

gets morning sickness sometimes when he wake up too early or eats too early in the morning- kenshi always cuts him fruit around 10 am to keep him hydrated and fed

if he drinks anything cold his cramps will go haywire- he drinks mostly tea when he's on his period since the hot water helps keep his cramps from throwing fits and the tea itself can have other benefits

Even if it isn’t full blown “you owe me a blood payment” kind of enemy to him

I feel like the major turn point in how you both become Thor’s lover but also how your perceptions of one another change, is how you view the everyday things that he has to deal with and how it drives him to self destruction

You didn’t care that he was a God and wouldn’t have long term issues from drinking so much, you cared about the hurt it put him through and root of the problem

Because of that he began to see the many layers that make up your own life, your character, and how you deal (or don’t deal) with things

Basically you and him become positive influences for one another and confidants to each other’s issues

Expect a LOT of bickering between the two of you like even after the two of you become lovers, it’s still a main part of your relationship honestly

Though the kind of bickering changes after you and him become official

Beforehand it could be pretty backhanded and snippy, like you were just quipping back and forth cause there was some resemblance of bad blood between you and Thor

When you and Thor become official the bickering evolves into older married couple type bickering

When y’all were enemies, if you walked in to spend some time at the hall, he wouldn’t even so much as glance at you

And if he was drunk around you, he was a total ass, not just because he was white girl wasted but because he also really didn’t like you

Now, if he’s drunk around you, he’s still a bit mean, or mainly unresponsive

Will totally get more tattoos if you recommend some to him or would like to see Thor with some more in certain places

You’ve always admired his tattoos and now that you’re lovers with him, you get to inspect them up close, admire and trace them with your fingers

Its hard to tell when Marc is in a real foul mood because he always seems grumpy

But at some point he'll get really snippy, every little thing seems to throw him off, the kettle going off, some small mess that Steven left out, he reacts with anger every time.

"This place is a fucking mess. Can't find anything in all this...shit!"

He doesn't shout much because Yelling reminds him of his mother, but he will snap and raise his voice.

When asked He doesn't want to talk about it. He avoids like its his full time job.

"I'm fine, just leave me alone!"

the hardest part is, there's not much you can do, when he gets like this he hardly recognizes anything you do to help, and if you fight back he shuts down even more.

the best way to help him, is to wait it out, he'll eventually come back.

Steven

Steven is hardly ever in a bad mood, so when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed it is an immediate upset to the day

When he's in a bad mood, he will be very self-deprecating, taking his bad mood out on himself.

"I'm sorry I'm such an idiot love, I honestly don't know why you keep me around."

when he's in a bad mood he gets very weepy and easily frustrated. Seeking out your affection and approval.

He'll usually give up on the day and just curl up in bed, staring at the wall and muttering to himself.

the best thing you can do is take care of him, you could talk all day about how he's not any of the things he's not but it will go unheard. its best just to cuddle up with him and keep him company while he works though it.

Jake

When Jake is in a bad mood, he gets violent. the first time this happens he throws a plate in frustration and nearly missed you, it flew past your head and crashed into the wall behind you. That scared him.

after that first time, the only way you know Jake is in a bad mood is you wake up alone, a note hastily scribbled left on the pillow next to you.

"Out Driving."

you won't see him again until very late, some times drunk, but usually in a weird mood.

once or twice He has left for more than one day, and those times are the worst. not knowing where he was or whether or not he was okay.

No matter how long he wad gone he would always come back.

He'll want to lay in your lap and watch comfort TV with you after a long day(s) of avoiding his feelings.

He'll fall asleep there if you let him. mumbling slightly in his sleep.

~What's wrong with both? But yeah, I've yet to do headcanons with these goobers. I don't know this “consistency” people speak of, so expect none of it. I do wanna add some other spider peeps to these, but we'll keep it to the Gang for now. Expect some more food, probably within the next few weeks. Thank you for the request!~

🎧Miles🎨

General:

We can all agree that he's a massive dork about this, right?

He's a lee-leaning switch, though it's close.

Loves tickling both ways, but can admit neither.

Boy gets squirmy every time the word is even mentioned. You bet he practically dies when any scene comes on TV

Lee:

Lee moods for him are quite frequent.

His friends have a system for detecting them at this point. Checklist and everything if they feel like being goofs.

Nervous giggles, extra knee bounces, higher voice, showier clothes if he's bold, easy blushes and jumpiness. They've got him down to a T at this point (⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠)

Super squirmy lee, you almost definitely need to pin him if you wanna live. Known for his donkey-kicks.

Worst spots are his armpits. He will screech if you even try to get him there. Not a spot for the weak-willed.

Melt spot is his neck. A few fluttering fingers, maybe gentle scritches under his chin, and you’ll have a giggly puddle of sleepy mirth.

Real easy to fluster. Say the t-word a few times, compliment his inevitable blush, maybe incorporate the Itsy Bitsy Spider. Immediate results!

He feels like he'd be super air-ticklish. Can not handle any wiggling fingers or sneaky teases.

Doesn't ask for what he wants, like, ever. Gotta use your detective skills around him (the checklist above is very helpful (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠))

Ler:

Such a shit, even though he can't handle a fraction of what he dishes out-

Absolutely webs people up to help himself (only if they're comfy with it ofc)

Very playful and teasing. You blush? Get ready for him to point it out at least seven times. Snort? Good luck.

“Your cheeks are all red, gigglebox. This fluster you that bad?”

“Aww, you snort? No, don't hide your face! I wanna hear it again!”

“What d’ya think happens when I go here? Yeah, right there. Only one way to find out~”

Once he gets a handle on his venom power, he learns that very small shocks can be quite effective in wrecking his lee.

So, Miles being Miles, abuses that knowledge at the most inopportune times.

Little jolts during training, walking through the halls, studying, you name it. By the end of the day, people are either ready to kill him or want him to just get it over with. He's happy either way.

Has high respect for boundaries. Before starting, he'll make sure the safeword is remembered and clarify what they're comfortable with.

Super nice aftercare. Cuddles, snacks and maybe listening to some music and napping on him while he sketches.

General:

I’m gonna go with ler-leaning switch. Like Miles, it’s pretty close. These kids just love to laugh ¯\_(´꒳`)_/¯

A bit better in terms of confidence. If it’s a good day and the mood isn’t too severe, she can ask one of her close friends. Other than that, suffering until someone notices.

Lee:

When she gets lee moods, everyone is almost immediately alerted.

Either she has the courage to ask, or in the more likely event that she doesn’t, she’ll provoke everyone.

Snippy comments, crop tops, hair up, sarcasm for days, and THE SASSSS

If they don’t realize she’s in a lee mood, they’re gonna wreck her anyway for getting on their nerves.

A squirmer for sure, though not quite as bad as Miles. Careful of her legs, though. She was a dancer; that kind of strength combined with spider-power won’t feel very good to the jaw.

Worst spot is her navel. A few raspberries and she’ll be a cackling, snorty mess.

Melt spots are her back and ears. She loves light traces and scratches along her back, and a feather on the shells of her ears would be heavenly.

Adores cheer-up tickles. You’ll make her entire week if you gently trace her belly or squeeze her sides when she’s upset.

She’s got a really pitchy, bubbly laugh. You get her to belly laugh, and you’ll be rewarded with lovely snorts.

Ler:

VERY sassy and playful. Will tease the living hell out of you and giggle while she does it.

Anything she can tease you for, she will. Usually teasing-compliments, but she shakes it up.

“Such an adorable belly! It’s like it was made for me to poke and squeeze. Can’t deny its purpose, can I?

“It’s so easy to fluster you! I just need to say that one little word, and you can hardly breathe~”

“It tickles, does it? Sucks to be you. Now, onto those ribs…”

Gwen likes doing her nails with her friends, so those babies are always nice and tickly. The boys can never manage to keep theirs like that, no matter how hard they try.

She likes blowing raspberries if it’s someone she’s close to. Loves the silliness, and their reactions are just too cute.

Very good at giving cheer-up/comfort tickles. If someone’s upset, they go to Gwen for some special pick-me-ups.

Wondrous aftercare. Back rubs, praises and a movie night. She’ll even braid your hair if that’s something you’d enjoy.

✮Hobie🎸

General:

The switchest spider to walk the Earth, I dare you to fight me on this/j

So chill on both fronts. He just goes with the flow.

Has magic “can say the t-word whenever” powers, loves abusing them.

Absolute menace in tickle fights. He’ll either kick your ass, or fluster the hell out of you while you attempt to wreck him.

If anyone’s in a mood, lee or ler, Hobie’s their best bet.

Lee:

Okay, so…he definitely is open to being wrecked by his friends.

One of them has a killer ler mood? Hobie’s here to help. He’s gonna be all teasy about it, but it’s quickly replaced with giggles.

When he’s just straight-up in a lee mood, he can ask with next to no problems. Coincidentally, he “accidentally” flusters his ler more often than not.

If he just doesn’t feel like asking, he’ll put on a crop top, rest his arms behind his head, and wait for someone to get a ler mood or try something.

We can all agree that this smug bastard would try to fluster his ler, right?

Holding his arms up without being asked, telling them to keep going, how good they’re doing, “Ready when you are~”, teasing them for “staring,” the list goes on.

Worst spots are his feet, followed by his underarms and hips. He’s not always in the mood for footer tickles though, so the pits are your best shot.

Melt spots are his calves and palms. Mr. Guitar would adore some hand tickles, and the tall prick deserves some draw-backs.

Rumbly, base-sounding giggles if it isn’t that bad a spot. If it is, you’ll get loud, boisterous, scraggy laughter. Very fun to find and point out the differences to him, he’ll definitely appreciate it! ( ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )

Ler:

He has two sides, one very different from the other.

The first is gentle, comforting tickles. He won’t go too fast or vigorous, only upping the ante if you ask or seem ready.

“Those some cute giggles ya got there, mate. Glad you’re sharin’~”

“You’re adorable, ya know that? All blushes an’ squirms, but you ain’t said ‘stop’ once~”

The other is the one you should be terrified of.

Evil teases, immediate worst-spot tickles, keeps you laughing until you’re in tears (unless you tap out beforehand)

“Wha’s that? Oh, tickles, does it? Good, ya needed a laugh.”

“Man, you’re laughin’ pre’y hard. Blushin’, too. I didn’ know any better, I’d say yer enjoyin’ yourself~”

Either way, he listens to boundaries and stops whenever you ask/seem like you’re done. Boy is all about respect, in this sense anyway.

He definitely plays the lee-guitar game. Your ribs are now his strings. Might even get his pick out if he’s feeling really evil.

Changes up his methods for each lee (let’s stick with the gang’s regular moods here before I go on a tangent)

For Pav, he’s a smug asshole. Lots of fake-outs before he actually starts, continuously calls his reactions “fuckin’ adorable” to see him blush. No mercy until it’s needed.

With Miles, he’s a bit less evil. Mainly just teases him for being so ticklish and his blushes.

For Gwen, he’s rougher. She usually likes to forget her name, and he’s more than happy to help. Raspberries, teases, the whole nine. Whatever gets her cackling.

Amazing with aftercare. Will pull you into his lap for cuddles, and he gives incredible massages and back rubs. Praise for days if you need them, and even if you don’t, he’s happy to supply them.

🪷Pavitr☕

General:

Suuuuuch a sunshine boy I swearrrrrr ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

He gives lee-leaning switch. Loves getting his ass handed to him, but occasionally loves making his friends giggle and squeal.

Can admit that he likes both sides, though he can only say the t-word itself if he isn’t flustered.

Always up for helping one of his friends if they’re in a ler mood, and sometimes ready to wreck them for the greater good (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Lee:

Loves being tickled, especially if he’s in a really bad lee mood.

Most of the time, he’ll whine to either Hobie or Gayatri that he’s “feeling fuzzy” and they’ll get the message. If he isn’t that worked up, he’ll flat out ask.

Very squirmy little worm, though he doesn’t flail like some of the others. Has accidentally headbutted before though, so careful if you’re messing with his neck.

Decently easy to fluster, though it takes a while to wreck him. You’ve gotta know exactly what you’re doing to really get him good (just ask Hobie or Miles, they’re loving narcs)

Worst spot is his belly, specifically his navel. Raspberries are killer for him there. Him and Gwen share a death spot and both torment each other with that knowledge.

Melt spots are his forearms and under his chin. Adorable to trace a few inches up from his pits and watch him dissolve. You can’t tell me he wouldn’t love some gentle tickles under his chin, can you? (answer: no)

Bright, bubbly, almost boyish giggles. Things get a lot pitchier when you really wreck him, squeaks and squeals coming in no short supply.

Ler:

Surprisingly formidable ler when the mood strikes him.

Most don’t suspect it to be that bad and give him full reign. They’re quickly proven wrong.

He respects boundaries of course, doesn’t ever go overboard. Takes breaks to check in and let his lee breathe every few minutes.

Loves to tease with compliments and praises. This is where he abuses his powers.

“Aww, your laugh is so cute! Who knew you’d be so ticklish?”

“That blush is just adorable, friend. You really have to show it more often!”

“I know, it really tickles here, huh? You’re doing great!”

If he’s feeling like a goober, he’ll play “Tickle Monster” and blow little raspberries on your belly. Might even make little “nom” noises while he does it to be a menace.

Loves giving tickle hugs. He’ll sneak up behind someone, koala-hug them and start wiggling his fingers into their sides. (Being short actually helps him there)

If one of his friends is upset or stressed, he’ll talk it out with them before suggesting a tickly cheer-up. If they don’t legitimately object, he’ll sweetly tease them until they’re all giggly and happy again.

SUPER sweet with aftercare. Cuddles, snacks, praises, and just general conversation. If you want to, he’d even be open to a nap.

Hi. So, to start, i dont know the difference between oneshot and short fanfic, im not used to those words yet, im sorry ;n; so make it whichever one of those two you feel like and would have fun with! Id like a nice little story to read, not just headcanons alone if possible.

Ive been thinking about this idea that takes place after Kazuichi Soda gets yelled at by Sonia in the Dangan 2 game, and they all storm off in their own directions. But then, reader tries to go comfort Kaz and one thing leads to another~

I suppose a touch of angst would be appropriate for such a story, but i dont want it to be just that, or too focused on that. Thats the lead up to the NSFW, which is the focus.

Reader goes and finds Kaz in the night after everyone went seperate ways, comforts him, they talk, hes probably a bit snippy, but then calms down. These 2 were buddies, not dating, but then all the ~stuff~ happens, and, you get the rest. Sexy stuff ought to cheer the man up lol. You fill out the "how" of this scenario. Howd they end up in bed? Have fun with it.

Im sure reader would feel bad for Kaz, not wanting him to be in distress. Maybe reader has been secretly pining for Kaz, but that doesnt HAVE to be a detail, im kinda making this all up quickly, throwing in lots of details, and you decide what sticks~ The others on the island didnt see each other for the rest of that night, so they could definitely get alone time no problem. Maybe after he calms down a bit, reader comes up behind him and hugs him, sweet and somber.

Idk about location, because the others would be in their cottages, but the motel should be free at this point, so maybe there so they can be loud and not care.

Can i PLEASE have reader taking kaz's hat the morning after because her hair is so messed up, like "gimmi that shit, your hair looks fine as hell, im the mess today i need hat." Maybe something in the end about them trying to act natural the next day around the others, you know? Perhaps some hickeys gave it away or somethin, whatever you think up and wanna write is cool.

Another day on the islands, another day to end in chaos. Just the usual Jabberwock Island drama in the middle of a damned killing game.

Everything was fine, everything was going well, until Kazuichi decided to express his love for Sonia again. And this time, it did not end well. And you were the one that was in charge of finding Kazuichi. Again.

"Just make sure he doesn't do anything stupid" Hajime asked you and sent you off on your way.

"I will!" you replied and took went on a journey to find your buddy. Ever since you've ended up in this situation, he made you weirdly comforted. His goofiness, his fun aesthetic, everything. Except for when he was driving Sonia, and after that everyone else, insane. Even you struggled to understand his obsession with her, but brushed it off. It's his business not yours. It's his business not yours...

When you started looking for him, the sun was still up, but soon the moon took his place on the sky with the stars and you were completely clueless about his whereabouts.

"Let's see..." you thought to yourself. "What did I miss...?" The locations quickly ran through your head. Library, check. Theater, check. Cottages, check. First island entirely? Check.

"The motel!" you said out loud. "Well, I doubt he'd be there but... it's worth a shot" you wondered and decided to give it a go. You made your way to the third island and immediately headed for the motel. The abandoned looking building looked the same as ever, and the smell of musk was just as strong as before. You slowly opened the door and called out to the seemingly empty building.

"Kaz? Are you here...?" you walked inside and started looking around. "I just want to make sure you're okay, bud... I've been looking for you for hours..."

No response.

You continued to walk around the dusty place, stopping every now and then in front of doors.

"Kazu? Please be here, I have no other idea where to look for you... We can do whatever you want... Just be okay..."

Still nothing.

You sighed.

"Fuck, maybe I was wrong..." with a heavy heart you started to get to the exit. "I hope he's alright..." as you started walking away, a door behind you opened. You quickly turned back to see Kazuichi standing in the doorway.

His hair was the usual mess, he cried his eyeliner off.

"I'm sorry" he mumbled. "Were you that worried?"

"It's okay! Oh god, I finally found you..." you said and went back to him. "Thank god you're okay... Would a hug be okay?"

"Yeah..." he replied and you wrapped your arms around him and so did he.

"It's going to be okay... I promise, Kaz... You'll apologise to her tomorrow and everything will be fine..."

"I will..." Kazuichi said. "I... i went overboard... I didn't want to upset her..." he slowly let go of you.

"I suppose... You don't want to go back there, right?" He shook his head in response.

"I don't want to be near anyone right now... Well, aside from you, I guess... But if you don't want to stay, you can go back..."

"No, it's fine" you brushed the offer off. "I'll stay here with you... I promised the others and myself that I'd keep an eye on you..."

"Alright then.. I guess... we can stay here..."

"Do you... uh... want to talk about everything that happened..?" you ask. He stays silent for a bit.

"Let's sit down..." he said and went back to the room he was hiding in. You followed him.

He sat on the bed and gently tapped the space next to him.

"C'mere... Let's have a... chat..." he smiled at you gently and rested his back against the wall. You sat next to him with a curious look as he speaks up.

"So... I know I fucked up... Miss Sonia didn't deserve that" he mumbles, looking down with a guilty expression. "But at the same time.. I... don't really know how else to show her how I feel... My parents never really... taught me how to handle emotions... But it doesn't matter now... She's got real close with that demon lord or whatever he calls himself"

"Kaz..." you sigh. "I know, rejection sucks but... I'm sure you're going to find someone that knows how to take care of you, someone who loves you for you..." you smile at him and pat his shoulder. "Even if that person isn't Sonia... There must be someone out there.."

"Where?" Kazuichi frowns. "I won't ever find my match and you know it... I'm like that one sock at the bottom of the drawer, always lonely and"

You suddenly press your lips on his, making him shut up in the middle of his dialogue.

"That someone is right here, Kaz..." you whisper to his lips. "I may or may not destroy our friendship but I don't care... I am that person..."

"Man... what since when why..." he starts asking every question that comes into his mind. Nonetheless, you quickly. make sure he stays silent.

"Just shut up and enjoy the moment" you kiss his soft lips once again, wrapping your arms around him. Pulling him close, not letting him escape your touch.

Kazuichi's eyes slowly flutter close, as he kisses you back, letting himself go under your touch.

Your hands start to wander around his chest. Slowly caressing each spot through his overall then zipping it down to reach under it...

"Are you surre this is a good idea?" he breathed out.

"Do you feel better?"

"Yes" he whispered.

"Then yes..." you kissed his lips again. "It is a good idea.." You smiled and slowly tugged his overal off his chest.

You now began placing passionate kisses all over him. Starting right under his ears, steadily working your way down his neck, stopping at the collarbone and then repeating the said path in reverse. Now going up, every now and then gently sucking on his skin, leaving hickeys. He let out soft sighs of pleasure, his eyes fluttering after each kiss.

"Let me take care of you too" he tried to switch things up but you stopoped him with a firm expression.

"I am the one comforting you" you took your shirt off, making him blush and his eyes lit up in excitement.

"Actually...Keep going" he said with sparkling eyes, as you went down on him with a sly smile. You kissed him like there was no tomorrow, making sure all of your love went through. All the love, admiration, and comfort. Everything that was boiling inside you whenever you thought about Kazuichi But despite your order, his hands began wandering too. Pushing your clothes down, guiding you into his lap.

"Ride me" he pleaded.

"Any time" you replied and began grinding your hips. Back and forth in his lap. Kazu groaned, feeling the pressure of yourbody. His patience on edge, his mind wishing for the clothes to disappear. Both of you bit down on your lips to keep the silence. , Trembling, shaky breaths leaving his mouth he spoke up again.

"We can be as loud as we want... Just please ride me already" he pleaded again, whining under you. He was so on edge, so impatient. So ready for everything to come crashing down.

"I’ll get right to the point, I promise...” you continued to rock yourself back and forth, putting more and more pressure on his body. Even you started to tremble and placed your hands on his chest for support. Gently grabbing onto his small pecks, feeling muscle tensening at your touch.

"Don't just promise me. Do it"

The next morning the two of you were walking back to the first island. Hand in hand, smiling as the sun was coming up.

"So.... We're together?"Kazuichi asked.

"I am not sure" you replied. "All I know is that..."

The two of you entered the first island. You quickly grabbed his hat and placed it on your head.

"That I need your stupid hat... My hair is a mess..."

"Mine too!" he tried to get his hat back.

"Yours is alway a mess, Kazu. Mine not" you giggled. He rolled his eyes.

SO, because of how much I love the “reader got badly hurt and forgets her”. It just pierces me through the heart, and it, it just deserves its own individual attention. I love it. I really do. So, this will be a two-part answer. With the second part to follow later (I'll come back and link it when it's up as well as put it on the masterlist as well!).

Quarrelling and Gifting Headcanons | Shinobu Kocho

Setting: Shinobu Kocho x gn!reader

Content Warnings: SFW, we beat around the bush.

It’s so important to note that, Shinobu really will avoid unnecessary conflict in her relationships. It’s not that she’s afraid of a fight, or even the risk of “losing”. Because to be honest, she doesn’t think she will lose the argument. Rather, she really just feels that they can be completely avoided. Which is… ironic as conflict tends to find her.

Let’s be honest, as adorable and sassy as her remarks often are, they have the tendency to rub others the wrong way.

When it comes to disputes of any kind, Kocho has a strong preference for facts, rather than allow her emotions to run the discussion. She knows nothing good will come of doing that. In an attempt to keep the smile on her face, and further suppress her frustration (This woman has stomach ulcers I swear), she will focus her attention on the overall picture. How this argument will play into the enormity of your relationship. Is it something small such as mistakenly utilized a decorative towel?

The practically of her brain screams in agony. It. Is. A. Towel. Therefore, her usage is appropriate, but for all that her logic wails at her, you really do adore those cutesy towels. She’s sorry. She’ll take better care next time to leave your prized serviette be. A dispute over who’s turn it is to tend to the dishes? No, she distinctly remembers that she did in fact scrub them the night before, but, she’ll note the small bags under your eye. The languid movement, and stifled yawn. You had made her dinner despite your fatigue from work, and she knows you hate the task.

She’ll do it.

Now, let’s be clear. Shinobu is not a pushover, nor is she a placemat. You will not often find her compliant, but you will discover that she does try to understand your perspective. To notice when you’re sore from having carried too heavy of a burden, exhausted from running errands, or whether the heat has gotten to you. She will take this with a grain of salt, and accept that you are human.

However, she will go to great lengths to ensure that the same dispute, does not happen twice. You may see a chore chart in your near future, or she may simply request enacting a rule that states, whoever doesn’t cook will do the washing, and your decorative towels will be accompanied by more practical towels. She will keep implementing solution after solution until one is successful.

That being said, in every relationship. There comes a point when you will be tested. Blows will be traded, petty remarks, and snippy behavior, and a fight is just unavoidable. (Shinobu knows, as she tried her damnest to dodge it).

To be in a bond with the Insect Hashira is to know that these blows are not common place. They’re rare, and far and few between. In fact, your love has likely avoided such a dispute for a noteworthy passage of time. You had even begun to wonder if she was capable of expressing anger. When it happens, you were likely knocked entirely off kilter. D-Did Shinobu raise her voice?

Understand that it will never be anything small that has drawn the preserved woman’s ire. As I have mentioned, she is a woman of solution, and prefers to mull things with rationale. With great consideration. But just because she is not as trigger happy as other partners, does not mean her patient is limitless. There are a few things that could make your relationship tense.

You may find yourself humiliated by Kocho’s inability to keep her tongue and cheek in check. To an extent, she understands that you have to play into your boss’s ego. She will tell herself time and time again that it is all a part of the corporate ladder (both in the modern world and the taisho era), but there will come a point when an ignorant employer will push her too far.

It may be that they pushed off their duties on you for yet another time without the slightest clue as to how to perform the task, and yet to continue to berate you for the smallest of infringements. It may be that once again, they have pronounced your name wrong at a social gathering, or they have allocated the blame to you of an incorrect order even though it is clearly their own hand writing. Regardless as to how you arrived here, her tongue has betrayed her. It has written a carnet you cannot afford.

“[YN]. It’s pronounced, {YN},” while she glowers at the man. The cut of his eyes, shocked that she would dare to do correct a man of his station. A social gathering to promote a new item at your place of work, a tea shop having already driven you ragged for the month. The buffoon of a man so incompetent that he could not work off the necessary mathematical equations to determine the quantities to order, so he had pushed all of his duties on you. Late nights dragging you through the mud. Questioning your competence, degrading you so openly. Unashamed of his own ignorance, far too content to place the burdens on you. To play you the very fool he was, and while she had tried to convince herself that it was necessary, you loved your job. You were not in over your head; you understood the importance of boundaries in your work life. Oh, she had tried, she really had, but to have heard the botched symbols roll of his tongue, butchering your name to the owner of the tea shop. "Excuse me," his voice appalled, a note of warning flicked across his tongue. Completely ignored despite the obvious widening of your eyes, and the touch of your hand against her arm. Lightly tugging. Far too late for that, the rage immolating from every pore of her being. Her teeth gritted, her pragmatic existence whispering for her to cool her temper. To remember her place, to remember your job, and the attention from others she has garnished. Alas, it’s too late. Amongst tea shop attendants, business owners, and members of the community, she had drawn the line in the sand. Stood her ground, as she hissed. “[YN]. You should be well aware of how to pronounce it. You have only had them working like a dog the past few days.” The insistent tugs and coos that you attempted to reassure her were wasted. She was too far gone. Somewhere between insisting he prove his competence, revealing his competence, and fallen curses that near shattered her teeth in her attempt to restrain, Shinobu had realized. She had gone too far.

Shinobu will recognize that her temper had gotten the better of her. That she not only (successfully) told off your boss, but in a public setting amongst your peers, community members, and even strangers. She’s (sort of) embarrassed. While the Insect Hashira still feels that she was correct—the man obviously deserved a tongue lashing, she can acknowledge that it was neither the time, nor the place.

She won’t apologize for how she felt, but she will apologize for how she had conducted herself.

Another situation that you may find yourself in a dispute will come of Shinobu’s own social battery. Bare in mind that while she is willing to engage in the occasional social event, especially if you are a social butterfly, she is still an introvert by nature. She needs time between each outing to recharge her own social batter, and if it’s not given, you will find Kocho snippy. Even a little petty.

When the poison wielder is up for the social interaction, she works over time to ensure she sticks to social expectations. They don’t come naturally to her, and if you recall, she often spills her own thoughts without even realizing that she had insulted someone. This will only be amplified if her social batter is overtly drained.

Except, she’s no longer trying to behave.

She will look your friend dead in the eye and ask why they insist on clinging to you. Do they not realize that as lovers, you would like time alone together from time to time. Third wheel.

Yet again, she needs a moment to realize why you’re upset—she’s dating you not your friend. Ugh, but your friends matter to you. [insert the annoyed groan]. Okay, she was wrong. She handled this poorly. She’s sorry, Shinobu will try another approach next time.

She’s aware that her turn of phrase is not always… the nicest.

And lastly, Kocho is not attached to drama. Overtly emotional situations, and individuals can often times be draining for her. It requires a bit more of herself to follow your train of thought in these situations. She’s tired, but for the most part, she will accept your emotional needs—that’s what a partner does.

However, intentionally setting herself into drama induced scenarios such as power struggles, fighting for your attention, attempts to elicit jealousy as her lover, etc. These will never end well. You will find her tongue sharp, poised, lethal, and ready. Emotional Manipulation of even the smallest level is difficult for her to sort through, but to discover you had outright forced the situation on her will have her seething.

Such situations such as intentionally allowing her to believe that you have slept with another person, will elicit unburden rage. She will rely on the facts, you. Manipulated. Her. She will withdraw, cold calculated. Lethal. You’re sorry? Yes, yes you will be. Atonement is the only solution.

It’s war.

She is emotional, irate, and irrational.

Even if it means taking herself out, she will drag you with her.

In a fight or flight response, she loses all sense of herself. Backed into a corner, Shinobu’s insticts to survive is what captivates her. Drags her to make impulsive moves, to decimate all in her path to safety. She… hates this about herself. Her carelessness for self-preservation.

In more explosive situations (like genuine abusive, yandere behavior), the Insect Hashira runs the risk of simply cutting bonds. Severing ties, burning bridges in her rage. Pack her things in the middle of the night, disappear into the moonlight.

You will never see her again.

She saw the problem and provided a solution.

Ultimately, that’s Shinobu’s goal. A dispute is really just a problem masquerading in emotions. She feels that as your lover, it is her duty to help find solutions. To ensure the success of your relationship. Her affections will drive her to deeper lows and higher highs than she could have ever imagined, than her spirit will even confess.

That being said, even in times of heated disputes, if you are able to maintain your wits. TO remain logical and reliant, calm despite her storm, you will find that Shinobu is almost always, willing to compromise.

Gifts from Shinobu I believe would very. They may feel extremely diverse, and often times, completely unrelated. H-How could the same person who had affectionately gifted you a small stuffy of a Japanese macaque monkey also gift you… a fish head? Or perhaps the better question is, why did she give you a fish head?

You will find that no matter how far apart you are from one another, Shinobu’s thoughts are always with you. You are always on her mind, the small ways you fiddle with your hair. The touch of light across your cheeks, the small way you bite your thumb when you’re thinking--- you are always present in her thoughts regardless of her task. Because of this, she will bring you some of the most… obscure tokens of affections from her travels.

She had gifted you a delicately weaved snow monkey stuff because while she had been passing through, she happened to come face to face with one in the bath. The relaxed way the little one’s features grazed in the onsen. It’s small puff of hair, and the way the anima’s eyes closed in deep satisfaction to meet the warm water---- ah how cute, you often made such a face in the bath. When she would wash your back.

When Shinobu passed by a food stall in a port region on her way home, she could not help but notice the lavish cloth. The blonde who’s speech was unfamiliar, and overtly friendly seller at that, drew her attention. You had recently taken an intrust in foreign books. Spoke of how lovely the details had appeared. She brought one of his confections, a cake? He had delicately wrapped the sparkling treat in cloth, a translator ensuring that the symbol a roze—no, rose had significant meaning in his culture of romance.

Picked up a new pair of sandals for you, delicate little weaves of flowers carefully placed into the making. You express that it really wasn’t necessary, a simple replacement shoe would have been more than enough, but she’ll disagree. The color is the exact shade of pink that blossoms on your cheeks when she praises you.

The Lavender hair pin that she has placed into the intricate wave of strands of hair. The embellishment admittedly flashy enough to draw Tengen’s attention, blow glass and meticulously crafted. A special order that she had placed upon your anniversary, the small touch of her smile as she places it into your hair. “Do you know what lavender symbolizes?”

The Fish head in all of its peculiarities. While it’s true that that it’s usage avoids unnecessary waste, her medical book had expressed that it would increase your serotonin levels, and assist in sleep. She had noticed the way you tossed and turn at night, drifted from bed to warm your self water in the hopes that sleep would follow. Shinobu will prepare a fish head for you, and wish you sweet dreams.

Her gifts while… unique all serves a purpose. Her devotion to you.
