#everyone always talks about the more dramatic bits of rvb with the speeches and the 8+ seasons of plot development as the anti-war part #but the comedicization of the violence and death that the characters go through. the tongue-in-cheek gung-ho attitudes. #the way that they're so desensitized to the idea of death or gruesome injury to the point that it's!!! a comedy show!!! #all of that is just as much a statement of the fucked up nature of war!!! #it's like Col.
