day 8 of 30 // i'm not sorry 😌🌸

🥰🥰 broke my running record! we are 1/3 of the way!! (my goal is to be able to run for 30 minutes straight, today i ran for 10!) also learned a new arm workout from my brother specifically to help me build the muscles needed to eventually do a pull up!

❤️ did an actual breathwork meditation to help me focus (i really don't know if this stuff works or not but i like being lazy and doing nothing but breathing lol)

📚 finally about a third of the way through reading All Creatures Great and Small 🙃 it was actually a good chapter again today. it feels like Herriot's beginning to hit his stride. my eyes are just not fully recovered enough to enjoy it properly yet 🙈

🎧 i might've recommended this channel before but they also have this type of video where you can listen to real conversations and i love this short in particular because she speaks slowly and clearly but it still sounds natural. there are captions in both Korean and English too!

Shiratorizawa’s Spy (Reflection)

I made the first panels of my comic Shiratorizawa’s Spy in January 2022 on a whim, based on doodle requests from my Instagram Story. I didn’t think it would turn into a big project that would take over a year, but I’m glad it did! To finally wrap this all up, I wanted to organize my thoughts about my experience making the series.

🌞 Highlights ━━━━

Shiratorizawa’s Spy-noff + Shiratorizawa’s Spy-noff 2

It was incredible to see art and writing that others created based on the series. I was especially wowed at how several writers were able to capture what I wanted to convey. To see it written out... it’s unreal!

Comic style

I’m really thankful that I drew/colored the initial panels roughly, because this style let me work quickly. If it was full color / rendered... I probably would have burnt out.

Crowd-sourcing ideas

Many plot points and even the character Goshiki Toshiki came from my followers 🙌🏻

Reading comments

This was sooo motivating. Knowing that I made people laugh, or that people felt conflicted because of Oikawa... It made me happy that my work could touch people like that! 🥺

🌚 Lowlights ━━━━

Lack of Seijoh bonding

I totally understand how readers would feel that Oikawa should have stayed at Shiratorizawa in the end, because most of the comic illustrated his relationships there... I should have drawn more interactions between Oikawa and the Seijoh team to build a stronger sense of belonging. I really wish I had introduced Matsukawa and Hanamaki in the beginning. And I probably could have expanded on the Seijoh captain, but I was reluctant to make decisions about that guy...

Losing track of the timeline

I had a bit of a meltdown when I realized InterHigh was quickly approaching in the storyline.

Discovering again that Oikawa has an Android phone in canon

I forgot about this and gave him an iPhone. When I found out again, I was unwilling to change it midway... I don’t stress about this that much though haha

📝 Lessons about making comics ━━━━

Plan ahead

It’s fun to make spontaneous filler episodes, but it’s important to remember the timeline! After my meltdown, I carefully planned the rest of the story. I’m glad I had an outline of each part towards the end.

Comic boxes

I initially drew a new box for each panel. Later, I changed to duplicating & rotating the same box for most panels. This saved a lot of time.

Procreate stuff

My process for making the comic was to duplicate a previous file, keep a few things (series title, some boxes, my signature) and create the new part.

I wish I knew earlier to TURN OFF THE PROCESS RECORDING! As time went on, my files loaded so slowly... eventually I realized it’s because every file was bigger than the last, with ever-increasing video info 💀 thankfully you can purge the time-lapse recordings.

I came to this conclusion before SS, but still wanted to mention it. I much prefer typing text over handwriting it when creating a comic. It saves time, it’s easier to edit, and it’s more legible for readers!

And... that’s it! Shiratorizawa’s Spy is my magnum opus...

✈️ Now some personal updates ━━━━

This year I’ve been making some life changes and want to make even bigger ones. So it works out well that I was able to end Shiratorizawa’s Spy at this time. Next week, I’ll be moving into a friend’s apartment for a few months.

After that, I really hope to move internationally to South Korea for... an unknown amount of time. I am thinking about quitting my job. I’m grateful for my opportunities and experiences thus far, but I feel lost as an adult... I don’t know what I want to do except that I want to try living in another country. I had an amazing vacation in Korea last year, so I think I’ll start there. I’m really anxious because I don’t speak the language though.

I have so much to learn about personal finance, fitness, beauty, growing as a person, etc. I still want to draw and post occasionally, because art is my first love and passion 💖 but not sure about the frequency.

Raph is a huge sports guy Football(American), Soccer, Basketball, Xtreme sports, pretty much anything.

He has a few sports cards that he's found in the trash over the years and keeps in a binder. So when he comes across a new one he gets very excited

He started to take an interest in fashion because of Yvonne, whenever he does get dressed he's trying to be a bit stylish

In that, he takes some things into thought like colors and overall function along with style. He annoys his brothers with this because he takes a long to dress now.

Of course, Raph loves Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu movies

Raph still had that angry side his previous variations are known for he just had a better handle compared to them since he stress his need to protect his brothers first.

Raph being the oldest of course took charge because he was the older when they were just turtle tots. But often his brothers got hurt during thier mischief, Splinter often making a point to Raph he needed to watch them is what started planting the seed to his mother hen tendencies

Raph is a big Mother Hen, he is the most likely to worry over his family no matter the reasons from injury to not being home when they would be home. Tend to have the hardest time with letting Mikey have that independence

Raphael has Anxiety clearly, I say is likely Separation anxiety, seeing how his family is all he has known for a good while it's no wonder Raph tends to panic when he is suddenly left alone.

Raph uses social media the least compared to his brothers so he isn't as in the know on things. Like our date meme "Like a Boss."

Because of this he also doesn't always fully understand a short-hand text or what it means and it has confused his brothers. he also makes it up sometimes.

Raph digestive tact is made of steel because he keeps eating stuff he shouldn't u_u Man has a strong bite and can eat pretty much anything seeing how he has a bite force of 209 N

Raph is one of the better swimmers of his brother's thanks to being a Snapping Turtle

(Movie related) Ralph’s eye sight on his right eye is not the best and often gives him issues now

Raphael/Yvonne (Yes I put one up top then decided to add a section on its own.)

Raph is the type to fall in love fast and hard. he fell for her pretty quickly, and couldn't stop himself for loving everything about her.

Raph tends to get a bit flustered around Yvoone simply because he's always trying to impress her in hopes of her liking him back.

Raph isn't one to use terms of endearment as much so he mostly calls her by name or babe, he prefers my girl though the most.

Raph is very quick to lifts Yvonne up to protect her over the smallest things.

He likes to pick her up and spin her around before pulling her into a hug. Sometimes he forgets how strong he is and yeets her into the air though good thing she can fly

When Raph gets her gifts he has a bad habit of over thinking if they are good enough for her and has many times just ate her gifts so to replace it with something better

One exception to this is Raph will make her a Braclete from an old mask of his, he torn this into shreds and learned t braid the Fabio and even found an old bit of metal that fit well with some help with his bothers he goes engrave it for her (I don’t know what with yet but this is post movie angst related uwu)

Yvonne being British has grave Raph a chance to try the snacks and other food there, he has a favorite and sadly it’s Turkish dealight u_u

He is Yvonnes biggest hype man not matter what he generally means it but he’s very out loud with it when he dose hype up her creations and more.

He's the kind of boy friend that buys a hoodie wears it and purposely gives it to his girl so she has a hopdie of his

Raph dosen’t know any Ninja skill but he has picked up how to fight from his mother Battle Nexus

This Raph has the bad temper pervious Ralph’s are more known for.

He has made it point to know everything his mom has control over mostly for the times he alone he can make sure no one is causing trouble when she isn’t there to keep things in order.

He tried to make her a teddy bear as a kid it’s not the best a patch work of fabric and not stuffed the best and has poor stitch work he scarp material around the hotel to make it for her thought

Even after Raph learns he has brothers out there he chooses to stay with Big Mama, She was the one who raised him she is his family

He dose try to connect with them however with his Mom’s blessing

However if put in the position he would pick Big Mama over his brothers and betrayal them if they ever hurt her u-u

I’ve been on Tumblr for half a year now, (Thanks to my best friend🩷) and the community is amazing! I’ve always been too scared to post or interact with people, but I want to start making friends and building a community of my own.

Writing! 📝

I’ve always had a nack for writing and creative stories, that’s why I want to write fan fiction so much, combining two things I love, writing and imagination! Taking a TV show or a game and making it a world that exists and heals people, giving them happiness reading about their favourite characters and feeling a connection with them! It’s helped me through a lot and brings me a happiness I don’t get from anything else, what can I say? I’m delulu🤭. 🎀 ———————— 🎀

Guitar! 🎸

I’m currently learning how to play guitar, my friend is generously giving me free lessons, she’s also let me borrow her acoustic and electric guitar! I 100% prefer electric and want one of my own, I currently know TWO MITSKI songs that I learnt within my first lesson, in 4 hours. I’ve always wanted to learn to play but it looked so hard and I doubted myself, but once I gave it a go I realised I just have to try and keep going, and that beginning lesson was what I needed to jump start this hobby! :) 🎀 ———————— 🎀

Acting! 🎭

I’ve always loved acting, when I was 13 I used to do a lot of roleplay online, it’s not acting but it made me realise that I actually have an interest in that kind of stuff! I’m currently doing a Performing Arts course in college, which is going so well! I’m in the highest level and I got the lead in the Christmas musical! Sadly I had to give the role to someone else because I had too much course work to be able to learn the script in time, but it made me so happy knowing my skills were good enough and that I wasn’t wasting my time! Maybe I’ll get a job working on a movie and Joe Keery will be my characters love interest🤭! A girl can dream, right? 🤷‍♀️

2 am pdt 16 November 2022

minutes ago realized something from when in 7th grade, after thinking 🤔 & remembered the guy who wrote me the love letter 💌 sophomore year of high school 🏫, told me a guy touched my butt intentionally when I told him the time I played a basketball 🏀 game him 2-on-1 with my youngest sister after school 🏫. I think I also did that move of bouncing the ball between his legs 🦵. I guess bcz I was a girl he wasn’t expecting it? 😹

anyway, I haven’t read any part of the Bible at this point in time & I did not learn much about Jesus or any other part. I crashed one Sunday school session I think 🤔 when I was in elementary school 🏫 but I had poor focus 🧘🏻‍♀️/attention span so I don’t remember anything from it. My dad said he could not believe in Jesus Christ/Christian religion so we only went once. Mom was usually too busy to do much with us. I believe both of my parents were low income earners. Even though she had a bachelor’s degree 📜 majoring in accounting 🧾, I think the story was that the United States 🇺🇸 did not recognize? Her degree 📜? I m 🤔 not sure. Different countries different accounting rules? There’s also international accounting 🧾 rules? Supposedly 2 organizations fasb? & the international said in textbooks 📚 they working on/towards making the rules identical? 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I think 🤔 probably a lot of the basic stuff should probably be the same? She took bookkeeping 🧾 at home courses & did like an internship I guess, & to maintain the license she has to do more courses online every few years? She also took a tax course. She went back to school for a while when I was in high school but for some reason I don’t remember her telling me much like when she started. At dinner time, is I guess when most families talk? But my mom wanted to watch the news 📰 on 📺 tv. So I started sitting 🪑 at the desktop? 🖥 computer 👩🏻‍💻 (it was a big tower though that sat on the floor) while eating 🍽 dinner 🥘. All I remember was sitting on the floor working on an English assignment for reading 📖 the odyssey & mayb realized she wasn’t home 🏠 & I didn’t know where she was.

tangent ! Back to 7th grade, in p.e. Class we were assigned numbers to stand on in alphabetical order of last names. A boy/guy stood behind me. In our year books 📚 last & first name are what are listed (usually omitted middle name). He randomly started touching me with out consent during class. He once massaged 💆🏻‍♀️my shoulders and ran his fingers up ⬆️ & down ⬇️ & he danced behind me & he made comments like “she doesn’t shave 🪒 her legs” but he shaved 🪒 his legs 🦵😆🤭 . He kinda seemed to notice me outside of p.e. Class but I was so shy ☺️ & he was cute 🥰, that I ran away from him all 7th grade. (My hair I think was still very dark probably black, & straight @ this time & I think I grew it out/long ) He & his friends switched to a table I was sitting 🪑 at in the library 📚, but as he was about to sit down 🪑 I popped out of my 🪑 & ran out. When I popped up 🆙 I think there was already an established pattern of me running away from him so he lunged 🫁 forward across the table! By the end of 7th grade I had the courage to give him a note 📝 saying I want to be friends. & then it seemed to flip that summer & 8th grade year - I became the pursuer. 😕. His cousin Brandon transferred to our school 8th grade year. & almost the end of the year he told my friends & my friends told me he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend but he was waiting for summer bcz his dad said to wait. He asked a girl named Eva who lived in los banos (like baños =bathroom) & I think her family usually went to South Africa 🇿🇦 during the summer, & she did her final 8th grade project on modeling, to be his girlfriend instead of me. This guy, his middle name is David; which I found out during graduation 👩‍🎓 of middle school; & my middle name combined with first name seems to have parallels to bathsheba (Sheba-> shiva?) which I didn’t realize until this year. So it seemed like @_@ we were too coincidental = controlled by the demon lord to get involved with each other. & my name if play with transliteration can become chavah=eve. @_@ why I did not realize this part sooner after I realized parallel to bathsheba 🛁 🛀 🧼 & the daycare lady’s last name like a big boat 🚣‍♀️?, first name means pretty (Also yesterday realized Chris brown 🚣‍♀️ Christ be rowing, rhianna song 🎧 🎵 🎶 oh nana what’s my name? Was it??? Christ beating up nana.) This year found on internet number 7 in Bible is symbolic for perfection. In Bible it says Jesus was made perfect?? I’ve been using nana aliases for many years & only have been using it bcz of nana manga. I’m far from perfect 😑. Unfortunately. I would like to be perfect & to think 🤔 I am but probably know far too little? Sometimes if I get to thinking I’m right about something then I start getting a big head but I try to deflate it on my own if someone doesn’t beat me up/to it😖😭😵 (the demon lord/incubus/devil does it for any reason he wants - whatever suits his plans.) & people have been calling me banana 🍌 since I was very little girl 👧/kid.

also should write ✍️ about, I don’t think bathsheba would have got with king David if he were not king 🤴 👑. I think king David, even though, I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ much about him if he was attractive & had a big cock 🐓 🐔 & if he was generous to his wives, but it seemed to me that he didn’t really love ❤️ his first wife & probably only married her if he would have inherited king Saul’s kingdom? But I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ much about that. & so he went around finding other women to have “real fun” and other hint hint nudge nudge. the weird thing is I am younger than Adam Noah Levine 5+ years. In kindergarten I 👗 dressed up as a bride 👰‍♀️ 4 Halloween 👻 🎃 . My mom said she thinks I picked out my own costumes, bcz I would otherwise throw a tantrum. Demonic possession?? I think it was after the ‘89 earthquake we moved to & lived for about a year in king 🤴 city. For kindergarten I went to Saint Lucia. I did not look up 🆙 or ask who Saint Lucia was until this year. Lucia was murdered in court bcz she used up her dowry to help other people. Read it on Wikipedia. A man who was interested in marrying her, I think he was only interested bcz of her dowry. & I think I read that he is probably, & the court, is the reason why she died. 8:28 am 😖😫😭😖😭😫😖😭😫😤🥵🤬 which seems to tie back in to the incubus spiritual husband thing. 832 am pdt 16 November 2022 Wednesday. So the weird part is, I have a classmate photos (including teaching staff) on a sheet that was probably given to each classmate... I’m afraid to write ✍️ this part bcz no one will probably blieve me & the demon lord has ways to edit old pictures that were developed the old fashioned way through negatives 🎞. /new anon A FFVII/BLEACH CROSSOVER YOU SAY have anything you wouldn't mind sharing about it? 👀📝

more of a universe/worldbuilding crossover than an actual “these characters meet each other” crossover but yeah!! there are enough strong parallels between certain characters/situations (zack and cloud vs kaien and rukia, the black/white materia vs the two halves of the hogyoku, the general corruption/uselessness of shinra vs the gotei 13, degradation vs hollowfication, ihihihihi big sword etc) that i felt like it would be interesting to explore a general “what if ffvii’s plot took place in a world like bleach”

there is no 1:1 for the plot-- for one, active involvement of the human world is scrapped because the dead can take care of their own fucking problems, please and thank you also because bleach has WAY too many characters and most of them had to be booted -- but you’ve got the general shinra company as the gotei 13, avalanche as arrancar, cloud as (not actually a) former shinigami who works with avalanche, hojo as the shady motherfucker in the bg pulling experimental shit with the hogyoku, sephiroth as sort of an aizen figure but he’s also being manipulated in this case...

actually there is no real plot past that. i just went apeshit with worldbuilding hcs about how cloud’s identity crisis would factor into his zanpakuto manifestation, and then spent way too long trying to figure out stuff like “which division would fucking palmer lead” and “what would aerith’s resurreccion be”. but [tosses random disjointed character ideas below the cut] here y’all go ig

- cloud was actually just in the academy and never managed to become a shinigami before zack was infected with metastacia. when he killed zack hojo took him in for experimentation with the hogyoku

- cloud doesn’t have active shinigami powers to fuck with his hollowfication, but he’s in soul society so he can’t become a hollow naturally, so he ends up somewhere in between arrancar and visored

- hojo thinks he’s a failure and dumps him in hueco mundo, where tifa and co find him. his memory is basically just as fucked as it is in canon

- cloud’s shikai (or resurreccion, it’s really interchangeable for him, but since he thinks he’s a shinigami it works more like a shikai until he learns the truth) takes on the appearance of zack’s (the buster sword) at first. his real shikai is tsurugi

- his mind makes up a fake zanpakuto spirit accordingly and it looks like zack canon parallels where zack’s spirit quite literally lingers to help cloud out but things go very wrong hahahA im! sad now!! the real manifestation of his hollow/shinigami powers is a wolf

- cloud probably has the hogyoku shoved in his chest at some point a la rukia courtesy of hojo because why the fuck not

- he pretends to be an arrancar for a bit so no one in heuco mundo freaks out, but all of avalanche know he’s actually a defected shinigami except he isn’t rip

- nanaki is still a vasto lorde, which is why he looks [gestures] like that

- vincent is a bat. no i am not taking constructive criticism

- barret, tifa, and yuffie’s resurreccion are based on a bear, mountain lion/puma, and lemur respectively

- aerith has orihime-esque powers, but with summons! probably the triad of ramuh, ifrit, shiva

- cid is an actual defected shinigami lol rip cloud

- i actually went through with a friend (who actually knows very little about bleach and suffered through my rambling, thank u for that) and tried my best to assign captains in a way that somewhat made sense (it still doesn’t, a lot of people just ended up as slot fillers). tbh the idea of palmer or heidegger in battle makes me want to wheeze but here they are for posterity anyways:

1st: shinra 2nd: veld/tseng (depending on when) 3rd: genesis 4th: shinra hospital 5th: sephiroth 6th: scarlet 7th: angeal 8th: palmer 9th: lazard 10th: rufus 11th: heidegger 12th: hojo 13th: reeve

- .....i think i ended up deciding that other than the three divisions led by ags + the turk division captains aren’t actually selected by combat ability

- yes, genesis and angeal are love and rose and they also get to be the only visored because bleach has..... a really large cast,

- the shinigami uniform is just the soldier, trooper, or turk uniform depending on your division. colored scarves show rank

- kunsel monitors hueco mundo under reeve and most definitely knows what avalanche is up to. he chooses to say nothing

- reeve also monitors hueco mundo using a hollow-like robot aka cait sith

- limit breaks are zanpakuto abilities! blade beam is basically getsuga tenshou anyways

- there’s probably more but that’s all i can dig up for now!! it’s not getting written unless i hash out some kind of coherent plot from this so. hope y’all enjoyed
