Water Venus

To be an "It Girl" your beauty is really what sells people. I've noticed that everyone here has a water Venus (Suzy is a Scorpio, Jennie is a Pisces and Wonyoung is a Cancer).

Now you may ask, "why Water?". Well Water Venus's (especially in Pisces) gives such natives subtly magnetism. They don't have to try hard, they just attract people in. Mars rules over action, drive but can also rule over sexuality. We all know that Jennie possesses a type of sensuality to her, with them being in Aquarius it means that hers can be a bit "unconventional" to K-pop standards. I love you post btw! I think you’re phenomenal! What kind of aspect can calm a mars square mars? I have this with the love of my life. And we also have Venus square mars. But we have so many positive aspects like mars trine moon, moon sextile moon double whammy. Pluto sextile Venus, mars trine Pluto, many Neptune trines also some squares. so many good moon traits, like moon trine Jupiter and Saturn. I know he’s moody, his mars is in Virgo, mine is Gemini, but so far his moodiness doesn’t bother me, because I know his heart. Is there certain aspects that can smooth that?

Some Brett Hand Headcanons because I Binged Inside Job and Brett is Rotating Around My Brain Like a Potato in a Microwave. (Mild nsfw warning)

ADHD is what this man has, this isn't a controversial take. That being said the Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria that Brett has literally punches you in the face like the axe body spray he wears.

We all see him as the biggest golden retriever boy they have in this universe but almost everyone undermines his achievements. I'm almost 100% sure he got into Yale because of nepotism and him being from the most comically evil old white conservative family this show could muster, but Brett still did graduate from Yale. That's no small feat.

The crew took a trip to Brett's apartment one day. It's a small, modest, but very modern 1-bedroom apartment in DC. Brett apologizes for the place looking like a mess but to everyone's shock the apartment is spotless. To the point that it looks like he vacuumed before leaving the house. Everything cabinet in his kitchen is labeled and everything is organized. His spice cabinet is alphabetically organized.

Brett actively has a planner and bulletin board/calendar that has important dates written down. Brett has the type of ADHD where if it isn't written down and it isn't in front of him, it doesn't exist. Brett has everyone's birthday written down, every major meeting and every spontaneous trip to the bar is added to the planner.

So I am budding astrologer and I get heavy HEAVY autumnal birth chart energy from Brett. He absolutely gives me Libra sun energy. The jawline gives me Virgo rising. Plus a Sagittarius Moon. Plus he has 3 very favorable placements in his inner planets (Virgo Mercury, Libra Venus, Scorpio Mars)

So we're all just gonna ignore the fact that Brett physically assaults the team via the proxy of Puppet Brett at the end of his episode in S2 E4? It's off screen but Puppet Brett is throwing hands. Brett may be a cripplingly chronic people-pleaser and will go through the hazing of 38 different fraternities just so he will get the validation he craves, but when you do finally push Brett off that edge. After many, MANY days of Brett holding it in, Brett is going to maim.

I have a feeling Brett does want to be a father one day. However he's agreed with his therapist he is not emotionally ready right now to have a child. Plus he also agreed with his therapist that he wants his siblings and parents to have next to nothing to do with his child.

Brett has such a praise kink it's not funny. I'm like 90% sure if you look longingly into his eyes, tussle his hair, rub his inner thigh, and call him a good boy he'll melt into butter. It's that easy.

Also we know that canonically Brett is kinkier than he lets on. When he swapped bodies with Glenn and had sex with his wife. Glenn's wife admitted that Brett had done "Dark, Erotic things." Also Myc read his thoughts aloud and admitted to the group that Brett thought Reagan's mom was hot. So I headcanon that Brett has a bit of a mommy/older women kink but also Brett has the body and the stamina to get you off. Add that to his insane people-pleasing tendencies and Brett is going to rock your freaking world.

Attached to Brett's apartment is a whole fancy expensive fitness club. That was one of Brett's priorities in looking for an apartment. He was a successful personal trainer for the state department and on Brett's days off he does still help train his old clientele. He's just one of those people who really likes to exercise and he gets cranky/upset even if he doesn't get some physical exercise in. Do anything long enough and eventually becomes a habit.

Brett is bisexual but has an emotional/physical preference towards women. Brett definitely experimented and realized he actually liked doing the deed with men. However it isn't his first choice.

I also believe Brett hasn't had a serious committed relationship. While Reagan has had a few relationships Brett hasn't had much in the way of S/O's mostly because he'd much rather friend zone himself than risk becoming hated by someone because of something he did. Poor guy. Plus Brett hasn't had many people who have wanted him beyond just a one-night stand.

Brett is a bomb-ass cook. He picked it up naturally since even though he had a butler being a child of nepotism without all the benefits kind of sucks. But Brett learned how to cook and is a surprisingly healthy one too. I can very much see Brett being like "Whole Foods isn't that expensive if you're just buying produce and fresh ingredients!"

Brett isn't afraid of spiders but he HATES cockroaches. Brett has broken a lease on an apartment because they just weren't doing enough to solve the roach problem in his building.

Brett was an emo/goth in high school as well as being on the high school football team. Brett also is in his early 30's when the show aired in 2021. Plus even though he was born in the 90's he's a huge fan of 80's sitcoms. Which means Brett was probably born in 1990 or at the latest 1991. All this to say Brett is a fan of early 2000's emo and you can't fight me on this. Brett was into My Chemical Romance, Wheezer, Thursday, Panic! At the Disco, Paramore.

I don’t believe for a second Hannibal is an Aquarius. I know in the show his birthday is January 20th which makes him a first day Aquarius. He strikes me more as a Virgo. Super meticulous highly obsessive. Somewhat of a romantic in his own weird way with his dead bodies he loves putting on display. Very picky, and hates people who do not appreciate art. I know some people say Gemini or even Leo. And I do see some tendencies but here’s why I disagree. Geminis love analyzing people for the sake of analyzing. They love to talk and express what they are thinking without a care in the world. Virgos do the same but they like to observe before speaking their mind. Everything they say has a purpose and in Hannibal’s experience it’s to get what he wants. He manipulates the situation in his favor. I believe Leo’s are very loyal to who they love to a fault but I don’t think Hannibal’s ego is for everyone like Leo’s. His ego is only important to people he deems worthy. He could care less what peoples he sees beneath him thinks. That’s why he’s more mercurian than sun energy.

It’s going to have things that suck, are difficult and challenging, nothing is rainbows 🌈 all of the time - and if it was you’d still find something wrong with it 🙃 Spirit is calling you a hypocrite here, just last month you were ready to break free from tradition and the same old shit, this month you’re clinging onto it for dear life. If this is regarding love, there may be someone around you that is much younger than you, and you’re closed up like a hermit-crab, you see this person as a baby - The Fool. Or switch it. Though Capricorn is known to attract age differences, in this case it feels drastic or desperate to you, and you are refusing to engage. Could just be someone really immature too. Or are they just fun? 🤷 Could also be a kid. You can’t connect with playing, fun, innocence? Depends on the context. You could be taking yourself way too seriously.

If not love, then this is you either rejecting new experiences, keeping by the book and the same old thing that you know to be good for you, or it’s possible you’re needing to save money in order to take some kind of new adventure, but you’re not there yet. You’re stuck to something, a habit, some outside thing, transportation possibly, distance, or most likely a limited belief system that you operate by like its the only right way to do things - when it’s not. It’s The Devil - what keeps you stuck, chained, bound to something. A home? Family? With Scorpio and The Devil here, there’s a lot being shown about obsession, drastic actions or emotions, needing to see clarity instead of through an emotional lense. You could have this one idea in your head: I’m moving to Canada. But you’re being blocked every step of the way, can’t find a job there, can’t find a reasonable place to live, you don’t want to live on an ice block in the mountains with no grocery store - that’s reasonably priced though. There’s never a thought of “maybe this isn’t for me” or any acknowledgement of the signs from Spirit who are undoubtedly trying to show you something. A need for travel (if that applies) may be a solution rooted in shadow - you run away from your problems, maybe relationships - and travel is the excuse. If not travel, then just movement, running away/avoidance.

Some of you want to work at home and refuse to do anything else, or that’s the driving factor to keep a job, if a new one doesn’t meet that criteria, then it’s not for you. Honestly, that’s gotta be like 80% of people these days. Some of you are avoiding dealing with darkness in the home, relationships, family. Bad habits, toxic cycles, outdated or harmful beliefs systems, shit is not healthy whatever it is. The Emperor at the bottom shows what you want - to be the boss. Then…take charge. Start small, probably with what’s in front of you. The bottom of the deck shows you getting the clarity you need like a bolt of lightning, and it could be small. Jeez I haven’t cleaned this garage in 10 years, I could sell so much of this that I don’t even need or use. Step 1. The more you wake up to how you keep yourself stuck, the faster you can open up to new experiences, it’s a process. Some of you are literally trapped to a house, maybe one at a distance, something inherited that you’re still paying taxes on, a family, a business, you want to do your own thing but feel beholden to someone/something higher than you. Rules, traditions, laws even. For someone this can be a DUI or some court order to not leave the state/city, home arrest, but being trapped by the law in that case. This could also refer to engagement or taking the next step in a relationship - either being unable to do that or feeling like you’re trapped/switch it. Reasons - someone could be married, live far away, hopefully isn’t underage cuz gtfoh, their job is demanding/important, etc. Or you could feel distance keeps you from these things, maybe you already live on an ice block and long to leave it 🧊

April: 8 Swords & Queen of Wands

Oracles: Defense & Influence

Zodiac Signs: Aries, Scorpio, Taurus Mars, Libra Mercury

If you are married/committed, there may be temptation, possibly a lover, or one existing anyway, looking good and trying to sway your affections. I don’t see you biting the bait if that’s the case, you may just be removing yourself, blocking them, or somehow getting them out of the picture and celebrating your family or partner more. Like a passive aggressive “fk off”. This could be at work. If single, again the message of standards…attractiveness or sexy qualities don’t matter to you anymore. You’re looking for someone to build 10 Pentacles, THE one, a mother figure, maybe someone your family will approve of. Even if there’s someone attractive at work, you’re so focused on career, responsibilities, the long-term, you’re not interested in potentially messing that up. Are you attracted, yes. But also, pass.

Otherwise you could keep your own desires hidden, some may be sexual or passionate, within a marriage/partnership. Doesn’t have to be, if you’re wanting to buy a bunch of leather and get tattoos, buy a sports car, a bigger house, there’s a sense of “status 🤑” with whatever this is, you’re keeping that quiet too. You could feel like it’s impossible, your person would just reject it. Or you’ve been doing this for some time and it’s all coming to light now. Your true ambitions, what lights your fire, what you really want for the future, career goals. Again a house shows up, maybe you don’t like where you are, or again maybe you want to transfer to the main branch of a company, located somewhere else entirely. There could be one particular job you really want, somewhere else. Or you’d like to move the family to a safer city. There’s a practical element to whatever it is, yes it’s attractive but it also makes sense to you. It’s family or a partner that isn’t thrilled, doesn’t want things to change, doesn’t want to move anywhere. Or switch it, this could be a partner’s energy. 8 Swords could indicate there being no choice, someone got promoted so it looks like you’re moving now. Or your family, maybe they’re leaving your home town for this reason. You or someone else feels helpless to do anything but go along with whatever this is - or helpless to actually act because someone says no way. Those focused on work at home jobs probably still haven’t found anything yet, that could be the driving focus for a location change, you can do it there but not so much here.

The Sun ☀️ is very happy energy, especially with Optimism, you have reason to believe in whatever it is that’s coming towards you. Maybe you found the job of your dreams, and they’re willing to hire/transfer you, The Sun is a card of promotion, success, positive attention, fame on some level. Some of you are just bringing more attention to this conundrum you’re having, like “look, here’s what I want, why is it so difficult to get!” in the hopes your friends/family may have some suggestions or ideas. You could be complaining about your current job and how things stand, on social media maybe, or even directly to your boss or someone with influence. Showcasing your talents - you’ve risen above or have outgrown this position, when might they consider moving you up? Not would - when? Whoever you’re talking to is going to be surprised when they hear what you have to say, or you may be shocked by the response…how about right now? Tomorrow? Or when you leave one for another, the first job is like whaaat 🤯?? Whatever your new thing is, new job, new passion, possibly a new partner/lover, it’s sudden and shocking to others around you. Could be the same person at work you were like “nah” to the first time. Or they’re confessing their feelings to you and you’re paused like…wow, they really like me? Hmm. Ok let’s try it. Something good is happening, you’re not sure if it’s good and you question it, it could be happening really fast and you’re not sure if you trust it, but it makes you feel good.

June: King of Pentacles & Strength

You have some sort of news to drop like a bomb, but you’re holding it close to your chest instead. Not because you’re unsure, or questioning it, but because you’re quietly plotting “an escape” is what I heard. Could be family you’re doing this with, knowing they’re gonna have something to say about it. Could also be work, if they don’t know you’re leaving, your property manager or someone involved with a house (which comes up again), some of you are secretly planning to buy a home somewhere else, or you’re acting in secret so that when the time comes - it’s too late to stop. You can’t change your mind, or be swayed by what others say, it’s already done. A house or lease, money to pay for something, putting in two weeks and working it for the extra money, waiting for a start date or even a new home in a new area - may be the only reason you don’t act immediately, you have to wait something out for responsible/practical reasons. Your family may be very upset, or you know they will be.

This is the month things come to light, you’re taking action, and there is sadness (or devastation with the extremism card) and disappointment from loved ones, parents, childhood friends, maybe an established relationship/marriage, kids, the whole nine, anyone is involved or possible here. You could be selling the childhood home (again home comes up, every month so far) in order to buy one somewhere else. You may be disappointed in yourself due to someone guilting you, like “if you would have told me, I would have…” something it’s too late to do, and there’s sadness there. The impulsivity or quick decision seems thoughtless or selfish to some, but it wasn’t actually all that quick…you knew it would be like this. Even if it’s a good thing, people are upset. A King of Wands in particular may act quite dramatically over the situation, could be a fire sign, and they may say or do something “extreme” that breaks your heart in response to hearing your news/decisions. King of Wands can be you too, knowing what you want, taking the steps to make it happen, could be centered around work. There is a better job in this city, I’m sorry, I have to go. For someone, it could be your job is closing a branch or something, moving cities entirely (or countries?). If you’re not going with them, this would be your own sadness, and maybe extreme actions in anger/retaliation. Some of you are leaving a family, maybe even kids, and there are some high running emotions there. Your actions may seem extreme to others - but you feel it’s necessary, or switch it. Because Queen of Wands showed up earlier as a temptation, this could be someone they’re with or were, be very careful, “extremism” may be you getting your ass kicked by someone in a rage. Or this is you and your person, and it’s your/their family that’s upset.

You’re very cautious in how you proceed, but very happy all the same, like your dreams have come true. You may have had to take on an entire family war, switch jobs, buy a new house, move to a different country even, but you’ve got what you wanted and that’s all that matters. Some of you may end up getting pregnant around this time, or you/this person could have kids that you’re bringing into the mix to create this 10 Cups ideal. Both Oracle cards are ones of perfectionism, matching the reality to your inner picture of what you want, and how things should be. You won’t be hearing any words that suggest otherwise from anyone, period, it’s like you’re ready for negative feedback and you’ll shut that shit down immediately. Most likely from family, who are heartbroken. You may get the blessing of your mother, who is on your side and will work on the rest of the family. Or maybe your family are upset but coming around very quickly, especially if you’re leaving town, like they’re sad but they don’t have time to be sad, they need to make it right now before you go. Some family members might tell you to fk off, if so you’re sad but oh well, what can you do? You’re focused on your growth, in career, love, family, you name it. Whoever comes fits with your inner picture and whoever can’t, it’s love ya see ya later ✌️ There may be sadness over selling a home, either it’s not selling for as much as was hoped, or there’s a lot of nostalgia attached. A whole family dynamic could be changing.

Once you are given the green light 🚦 it’s GO, immediately! No more train for you, 8 Wands is one of the fastest movement cards in tarot, you could simply be waiting on news or approval, then you’re off. Moving towards your passion, what inspires you, excites you, turns you on in some cases - Ace of Wands with Lust at the bottom of the oracles. You will win because Jupiter Aries will make damn sure of it, they don’t lose. Jupiter Taurus cautions against a newfound love of extravagance, materialism, overindulgence or superficial things. Money. Status. Don’t get too caught up in appearances, or what doesn’t really matter…then it’s The Devil (Capricorn).

If you made big sweeping changes for a job or relocation, someone may betray you or it’s somehow not all it was cracked up to be - Manipulation being here shows you could have been mislead, 10 Swords on the bottom showing betrayal. Or maybe someone in your circle that wasn’t aware could feel betrayed.

Could be a kid. No one will make you pay for a mistake like your own kid 💯 Could be your person’s as well, maybe they’re not sure about you, question your intentions, see right through you even. For most it’s probably family, someone close to you, they could be inquiring about holidays or something and feeling betrayed by failure to make them a priority. 2 Swords here isn’t “no” it’s “I don’t know” but it’s enough of a no for someone to get pissy with you. It’s like they’re aware you’re putting in so much effort towards happiness, maybe family even, they’re just upset they’re not included in that. Or the tables have turned and a friend is doing the same thing to you. It’s like you’re being punished for going off the beaten path - Saturn Aquarius. A failure to plan ahead for something is being noted, you may not have enough money to cover initial expenses, or you planned for house payments, electric, etc etc but WTF is a sewage bill, you’re stuck with satellite and why is there community tax for some privacy gates? It’s possible someone sells you on an idea with a lot of passion and you’re bamboozled later, especially anyone that goes door to door (I almost learned that the hard way myself 😬).

November: The World & 5 Pentacles

Zodiac Signs: Heavy Taurus, Scorpio Moon

Oof this month is tricky. Manipulation already came out, but the vibesss are strong here, and next month as well. Someone is out to teach you a lesson, could be a parent. If they were helping you out financially, that’s ending, or if they’re giving to you and feel you’re not wanting to do anything for them, cut off. At the bottom is you with 9 Cups, a dream come true, could be some extravagant or self pleasing spending and if you’re borrowing money then this person is like “absolutely not”, that’s done. It’s possible wherever you’re working is cutting hours or something for the winter, because you’re struggling with debt or not having enough and it’s some “official” decisions. At the bottom there’s a sentiment of “you got what you asked for” - but like…ominously. Yeesh. The Hermit. This could also be the fake friend/family member pulling shit last month, or throwing a fit, cutting you off this month. Someone feels neglected, left behind, not cared about, forgotten. It’s possible some sort of promotion or bonus is going around, but you miss out on it - not being there long enough or there’s some reason. The Emperor can also show anything law/official, maybe a hefty bill for something indulgent? Or having been indulgent before, you don’t have enough now. Public intoxication? A ticket of some kind. Closing costs. Insurance. Those are what came to mind. If you’re asking your father, they may gift it and say “that’s it, you’re on your own now.” For Moon Scorpio to come out, that could describe a person, or this is definitely going to make you feel a way. Emotional, vengeful, explosive, intense, a silent burning or overdramatics (maybe hidden), manipulation like I said. Water energy is strong at the end of the year, some of you have a watery family that operate passive aggressively but…petty, vengeful, tit for tat.

December: Queen of Cups & King of Cups rev

Zodiac Signs: Heavy water 💦 Pisces, Capricorn Sun/Moon

This is either a partner or a mother it feels like, she is using everything at her disposal to get to you on an emotional level. Guilt trips, tears, manipulation, sorrow filled statements to make you feel like you should be reassuring her, telling her you love her, coming around to care for her. Laying it on thick - with King of Cups rev this is intentional, this person is a master manipulator. But not to hurt, if that makes sense. Moon Capricorn is cold AF and that’s what’s coming out, this placement can tend to be kinda distant with their mothers and have issues with feminine energy (others’ or their own), seeing it as weakness. That may be how this person feels you see them, or they’re just not getting the love, care, and attention they were from you and it’s hurting them. Is it your job to make this person feel whole, no, but I think you do care. At the bottom, they just want you to cooperate with them, the family, the group, whoever. They have intentions that are unseen, and on the surface it’s all love. Is that love genuine, it seems like it. They just know how to sway with kindness, fussing over you like a little baby, and easy tears 😭 If there’s conflict between you & Dad, Mom is trying to work her magic, with good intentions…mostly. Could be your person too, in their case manipulating you away from the mother - colder - Moon Cap, towards them and their own family. You belong HERE now. Controlling with softness and googoo eyes 🥹 Could be someone at work asking for favors, which you do because you’re being nice.

No matter who this is, you’re starting to question your decisions, second guessing yourself. Did you even make these decisions in the first place, or did this other person, and what was the motive…is it love? Work? Success? All of it. Maybe you’re questioning both parents now because they just don’t get it. This could be your person trying to work with you, literally, like can you give them a job at your company? The feelings are as genuine as they are filled with motives in any case, I’m not sure how much you’re paying attention to what lies beneath, Capricorn tends not to (unless you’re watery too).

If these Cups people are a pair, one is manipulative and the other is loving & emotional. Could be parents, other family, could be you and your person too. Could also be your person’s ex being upset due to custody/visitation, someone is unreliable. It’s drama, but again at the bottom, you may feel this is all necessary to obtain your happiness, and you wish everyone would just be happy, or happy for you. Fair enough.

This week’s astrology forecast: December 4th to 10th

Message for the week:

A generally lighter week is in store with the Sun/Mars conjunction in happy go lucky Sagittarius moving away from the square to restrictive Saturn, taking the brakes off forward movement. Venus moves into depth-seeking Scorpio to start the week and forms a trine with Saturn on Tuesday, awakening not just the desire, but also the ability to take relationships to deeper, more intimate levels.

Neptune turns direct on Wednesday, giving a greater ability to start visioning your future rather than dwelling on the past. Neptune is the urge to transcend the pressures of everyday life via fantasy, imagination, entertainment, and escapism of all sorts. At the higher level, Neptune opens the doors to receive guidance from your higher self and universal, cosmic energy—this can empower faith in forces beyond the senses.

Mercury (the mind) in serious Capricorn is in a favorable trine to fortunate Jupiter on Thursday. This is great for planning, organizing, and getting things done by giving greater focus on what is important and a greater ability to let go of the frivolous.

Venus (pleasure) opposite “too much is never enough” Jupiter on Saturday, stimulates the desire principle. Although this is a good time to reach for that which is enjoyable, stay mindful that it is a slippery slope to overindulgence with this energy—know when to push away from the dessert table!

Monday: Venus moves into depth-seeking Scorpio, awakening the desire for deeper transformative connections with others. The Moon is in conscientious Virgo trine Jupiter, increasing optimism over how much you can get done today. Tuesday: The Moon is in task-oriented Virgo in a harmonious trine to “the flash master” Uranus today—draw on intuition for sudden knowing of solutions in problem solving. Venus is in a stabilizing trine to Saturn, bringing depth and stability to relationships. The Moon is opposite transcendent Neptune late tonight, perfect for escaping into the dream world.

Wednesday: Neptune is turning direct today, awakening future visioning rather than ruminations on the past. The Moon in effective, efficient Virgo predawn, encourages getting your act together early. The Moon moves into relationship-oriented Libra, favoring cooperative endeavors of all types. Expect the need to be diplomatic in negotiations with others during the square to Mercury this afternoon.

Thursday: The Moon is in Libra in a stimulating sextile to the Sun/Mars conjunction in Sagittarius, enhancing relationships and exploring life with others. Mercury is in a flowing trine to Jupiter, stimulating the productive mind and the enjoyment of getting things done.

Friday: You might have a bout of the indecision blues this morning when the Moon is in “see things from both sides” Libra in a yod to Neptune and Uranus. Don’t let yourself be dominated by others this afternoon, while the Moon is square to Pluto—if you don’t want to do something, don’t. A quiet and intimate evening might be called for with the Moon entering Scorpio this evening and in trine to Saturn.

Saturday: The “Urge to splurge” is the dominant theme in the heavens today, with Venus opposite Jupiter, and a little bit just won’t be enough. The Moon in passionate Scorpio is conjunct romantic Venus and opposite Jupiter, starting the day off in an indulgent mood. The Moon is also in a stimulating sextile to Mercury in Capricorn—good for planning and organizing your day, rather than just heading out.

Sunday: This is a good morning for doing whatever you dang well please, with the Moon in Scorpio opposite individualistic Uranus. The afternoon and evening are perfect for chilling and relaxing with the Moon moving into a trine to transcendent Neptune. Ahhh!

Virgo Mars, and the week ahead

Monday Mars enters Virgo. With Virgo & Mars I think about actions done with thought and precision, discipline with your body, also the way you treat it, body that wants to be treated with discernment, care. something like yoga where all this is tied with introspection. keeping still can also be a form of engaging with the body as much as anything else - different people, different body needs. virgo/mercury = listen to what it tells you. Things done with precision and active processing - in the form of practical act of service like cutting hair, or mind & body development, like say tennis // can be good or challenging like anything else. mutable Mars can hit walls, sometimes feel lacking in agency or drive, clarity of motivation. say a pisces or Virgo here may feel preoccupied by the needs or comforts of others before their own, without recognizing it is something they ultimately control.

Thinking in the context of the astrology of the moment, and moments ahead (upcoming Venus RX Leo & recent lunation) .This happens while Mercury (Virgo’s planet, the processor/researcher) trines (ease and flow) Neptune (spirit and intuition, among other things). This makes an opportunity to utilize the challenging Mercury Pluto opposition for your benefit. This can mean obsessive thinking and focusing on the worst, things you feel like you can’t control - but pluto does not want to torture you for no reason. It wants you to dig into it until you can understand it enough to change it.

Tuesday Mercury enters Leo. in context with this and the Venus retrograde I’ve touched on, I’m feeling more emphasis on investigating the self, desires and motivations. advocating for self fearlessly.

Wednesday sun squares Chiron. identity/will in challenging interaction with core wounding, base triggers. with square there is a possibility to come out of it better if you go about it the right way. in context of everything, in what ways do you let yourself feel like you don’t have power? How do you stand in relationship to others? What old patterns keep you from asserting yourself, pushing self too much?

Saturday sun sextile uranus, great news. Try something new, even if it’s small! Within uranus and sextile lie opportunity, and with a sextile it’s generally a pleasant one. Going with the theme I’ve been on, It’s a great time do do more self eval, but in general a wonderful time to do art or figure something out. Sparks of insight or inspiration. Even just watch a new movie or take a walk somewhere different. Things don’t just fall into your lap, you must lean in. Fortune favors the playful.

Minor aspects

While the nature of the major aspects in astrology is quite straightforward and has been covered more than sufficiently, there’s still a lot of fog surrounding the nature of the minor ones. There are a lot of minor aspects that can be taken into consideration when interpreting a chart… however, since they are labeled minor they won’t be as obvious and much more difficult to spot in one’s own life. Note that this doesn't mean that they aren't impactful. There’s a lot of speculation and vague terms used when describing them. It seems that every minor aspect is said to have a “spiritual/creative dimension” as if that is supposed to clear up any of the mystery surrounding them. Perhaps, on one level, we don’t want to pin them down too much because certainty is the enemy of exploration. Or perhaps it’s the case that the aspects themselves don’t want to be pinned down? There’s an appeal in keeping certain things mysterious in our lives, to avoid defining and putting rigid labels on phenomena. It makes life alive and beautiful. Many people dismiss astrology is because they are afraid that they’re going to be reduced to a set of characteristics and have their personality mapped up to the point of being able to predict and foresee patterns of behavior and fated themes. The fear of knowledge is not irrational; it is probably healthy to an extent. Knowing too much can be dangerous and rob life of its magic. “Curiosity killed the cat”, as the saying goes. However, this is not the whole truth because curiosity also leads to expansion and better understanding, so let’s not be afraid to concretize these aspects, it's not the same as "killing" their potential. Life is never completely in our hands anyway, there's no risk of knowing it all.

Quintile (72°)/Bi-quintile (144°)

These aspects are said to have something to do with individual style and quality of creative work. It is suggested that these aspects say something about a mental-creative process of imposing one’s mind on a particular subject. It is also linked to talent and gifts the individual would possess that have not been actively learned. Basically, it seems to be indicative of the particular way a person would approach a subject. For example, the quintile would not describe the activity itself - the activity could be painting, knitting, running, cleaning or whatever – the quintile/bi-quintile would point to the way the person approaches the activity.

For example, Ted Bundy (whose chart I’ve explored a bit here), has Neptune bi-quintile the MC. Neptune, being the planet of illusion hints to Bundy’s quality of being a chameleon, deceiving the public as part of his personal style.

Prince Harry, (whose chart I’ve touched upon before), has his Moon bi-quintile Neptune. The Moon can be indicative of the mother figure, and his mother Princess Diana certainly had an elusive style and charm that was a bit deceptive and seductive. Of course, he would have the same thing going in his own life but it would perhaps be difficult for us to spot. He also has Moon quintile Venus and he definitely has a style/quality of emotional-physical comfort. He has Pluto quintile the AC, which would point to a style of showing up in the world that is powerful and intense. He has a tendency to come off as destructive and chaotic at times. There’s also a quintile aspect forming between Mercury in the 8th house and the MC which would hint to a public image that is colored by the “taboo” things he has said about his family in the recent present, but also in the past. He’s a public image that is aligning with the style of the playful amoral trickster.

As I’m going with charts I’ve already explored, let’s look at the quintiles in Meghan Markle’s chart. Her Venus is quintile Uranus and it perfectly describes her style of “wokeism”, that is, appearing to be objective and intelligent about feelings and affective values. She has a style of being “the loving humanitarian”. Whether she is this way in an actual sense is debatable. The quintile aspect is describing the quality and style not the actuality. But, it is disturbingly close to reality that it somehow becomes reality. It’s like the actor who adopts another energy signature in order to portray a different person. It doesn’t really matter if a person is rotten at the core - if he has a loving way of being, what difference does it make? The style is real enough to not reflect and give the impression of love.

Semi-square (45°) / Sesquiquadrate (135°)

These aspects are said to precipitate events. The nature of these two aspects is more immediate than the square aspect (which causes tension and doubt and needs constant navigation). The conflict represented is usually unconscious and is therefore not easy to identify. However, as these conflicts tend to manifest quite abruptly, we can take a look at the concrete problems the person faces. The planets connected by a semi-square/sesquiquadrate aspect will be in conflict but force some kind of release (that may result in an accident because of it’s autonomous/unconscious function).

I have Saturn sesquiquadrate my Moon. Since I tend to unconsciously block my emotional responses, the pressure builds and I am “forced” to get out of a situation, “forced to listen to my emotions”. I have encountered the theory that the sesquiquadrate in particular is manifesting as something that is looked down upon societally. This would make sense considering the aspect forces a breakout of one of the planets and nothing that is immediate and abrupt is ever favorably looked upon when it comes to social-societal structure and predictability. I have been meaning to take on commitments that would further my status in society in terms of formal education (Saturn in the 9th conjunct the MC) but I have not been able to do it without considerable decline in my emotional well-being. So, I have been “thrown out” by unconscious forces every time I’ve tried.

My sister has her Venus sesquiquadrate Saturn. She’s known for her deliberate and strategic way of dressing. She plans her outfits carefully, there’s nothing haphazard about the way she presents herself. However, she has Lilith conjunct Venus so she can push the limits and simply do what she pleases sometimes as well when the pressure of Saturn becomes too much. But, this often causes external judgment. A relative of mine has her Sun semi-square Venus. I can tell that she’s highly aware of her appearance. She is very pretty but there’s always something that is a bit off between what she wears and her self-expression. It’s like it doesn’t quite fit and it’s irritating.

To get back to the celebrities, Meghan Markle has Neptune sesquiquadrate Mercury. Is it possible that this forces distortion and vagueness in opinion and communication? It would certainly fit the bill. She also has Uranus sesquiquadrate Mars. She simply has to “break out of her confining situations”, cut people out of her life and move on in her own way. Uranus is also sesquiquadrate her MC, which seems to point to her unconscious pull to “do what she wants to do” at the detriment of her public image and reputation. Notably, Uranus sits in her 5th house of personal enjoyment and creation.

Prince Harry has a semi-square between Mars and Pluto. When he is angry it blossoms into rage and he can’t see straight. It has gotten him into quite a lot of trouble and societal-social disapproval. It seems that this is a common theme with the sesquiquadrate and semi-square. He also has his Moon sesquiquadrate Jupiter. Isn’t it the case that he tends to indulge in a way that makes him look bad in society?

Quincunx (150°)

This aspect is typically found between planets incompatible by element and mode. Basically, they have nothing in common and have a hard time cooperating, which will cause minor stress in the individual because of necessity to work around the incompatibilities. The planets are not in direct conflict but they are uncomfortable with each other.

For example, I have my Moon quincunx Mercury. Every time I sit down to write I’m mildly disturbed by little things like an aching back, a headache, restless legs or whatever. It’s not very comfortable for me but I can still keep with it, however it might take a toll on me health wise. The quincunx has been related to health issues because of the mild stress that it causes. It is manageable and one is usually able to cope with the stress, but it’s not very pleasant. Because it is not as demanding as more disturbing conflicts in one’s life, it’s in the background causing irritation.

Meghan Markle’s Venus makes a quincunx aspect to her MC. This suggests that she has a hard time reflecting her value on a public level, it’s as if how she’s perceived publicly disturbs her sense of ease and comfort. She has an Aries MC with a Virgo Venus and she’s continuously depicted as a bully these days, as some kind a selfish and aggressive bitch (the more negative attributes of Aries). This must be undermining her self-worth immensely, however, it’s perhaps too minor of a problem to do anything about. It is still there nonetheless, harping on in the background, breaking her down and causing slow disintegration…

Semi-sextile (30°)

Planets forming semi-sextile aspects are said to be able to aid each other, to have a better connection than if they had no link at all. Usually one planet is in the sign that comes before the sign of the other; in other words, a semi-sextile might be forming between Mars in Aries and Venus in Taurus. The semi-sextile usually connects consecutive sign like this, but planets could be in semi-sextile in the same sign, like Mars in 0° Taurus semi-sextile Venus in 30° Taurus. In any case, the planet placed at an earlier degree or in the earlier sign can draw on qualities of the planet in the later degree or the later sign and vice versa. For example, Prince Harry’s Venus in Libra is semi-sextile his MC. He can draw on his sense of harmony a diplomacy to benefit his public image. His Mars in Sagittarius is also semi-sextile his MC, which makes it so that he can draw from his Martial qualities of energy and action to influence his career and success.

Parallel/Contra-parallel

These are called aspects in declination because they are measured by latitude and not by longitude. This essentially means that two planetary bodies can aspect each other in a certain way measuring the distance between them north-south of the celestial equator. Two planets at the same degree north and south of the equator form a parallel aspect and can be interpreted the same as a conjunction (some say that it's more obscure like a quincunx/semi-square). Two planets opposite each other north and south form a contra-parallel aspect and can be interpreted as an opposition (some say that it's basically the same as the parallel though).

I have found, looking at my own chart that these aspects only confirms already existing aspects measured by longitude or it confirms the sign that a specific angle is in. For example, my MC is in Aries and it is also parallel Mars. Mars is the ruler of Aries so it emphasizes my already martial MC. My Sun is conjunct Saturn and it’s also parallel Saturn. My sister has a Scorpio MC and it’s also parallel Pluto, the natural ruler of Scorpio. For example, my sister has a wide Moon-Mars conjunction (6°) but they are also in contra-parallel. How is this supposed to be interpreted? I would simply see it as Moon-Mars is connected strongly despite the orb being a little wide with the conjunction.

However, it’s not always the case that parallel and contra-parallel aspects only confirms already existing influences. They can also add themes and connections. My sister doesn’t have any longitude aspects between Saturn and Uranus but they are contra-parallel to each other.

Septile (51.43° - a 1/7 of the 360°)

It is said to indicate a hidden flow of energy between the planets involved, an inner sensitivity to the spiritual dimension of the planets. Another description I have come across is that the planets “darkly interact” and there’s an occult theme surrounding the connection.

I have Venus septile Jupiter in my own chart. Going by the said method of interpretation, it would mean that I have sensitivity to the hidden wealth and underlying beauty and abundance in life. I think it is quite accurate.

Novile (40° - 1/9 of the 360°)

Is said to be describing a contact of perfection/idealization. It also seems to have something to do with spiritual awakening and growth, lack of fear and freedom.

Having Sun novile Saturn for example could be interpreted as a feeling of communion with the world and life itself through responsibility and the control one can exercise through self-expression.

There are of course other minor aspects to explore, but I'll stop here for now.

NCT Dream Birth Charts x Hexaco Results Analysis pt. 3

recently NCT Dream were on a new reality show called Mental Training Camp where they are doing a variety of activities and all of their behavior and interactions are being analyzed by professional psychologists

ofc my virgo sun mercury ass was thrilled and I had their birth charts pulled up the whole time to cross reference.

I wanted to share some of my personal thoughts on how the 2 might connect!

Haechan - “Popular and Ambitious”

✨gemini sun // leo moon // cancer mercury // gemini venus // gemini mars✨

they started Haechans analyses by labeling him as popular and ambitious, and even without looking at the hexaco or his birth chart these 2 traits are very easy to see in him. Haechans birth chart and hexaco are really interesting and almost refreshing to me because everything is so straightforward. I honestly think Haechan is a very what you see is what you get kind of person. I think the psychologists on the show were feeling some of that interest and refreshing feeling too because they described him as being very different from the rest of the group (and the college students), and kind of special. A somewhat rare personality.

the first thing they talked about was his insane level of extroversion. I have to say when I first saw that I choked on air a little. Not only is it just ridiculously high, but it’s also so obvious given his birth chart too. looking at the hexaco chart, the focus on extroversion and then how the other areas are either just around the average or below is very interesting to me. we saw something similar in a few of the previous dreamies too. Some of them had highly above average scores for one area and to me that says a lot about the dominant parts of their personality.

Looking at haechans birth chart, we all know he’s practically on par with Seventeens Hoshi for being an iconic gemini. Having such a social, extroverted and excitable sign in 3 different planets will certainly make someone extroverted, but charts have to be looked at as a whole as well and he’s also fortunate to have a leo moon because it doesn’t add any kind of introversion. He is a pure excitable, affectionate and social extrovert. His extroversion can be seen in the ways he’s very interested in whats happening “out there”. Gemini’s are very curious and restless and like to explore the world and environment around them, and have a lot to gain from connecting with people.

Right after they mentioned this though, they quickly added that it’s actually somewhat rare for highly extroverted people to be highly conscientious too. If you look at his hexaco his next highest scores are conscientiousness and openness. Even though gemini is a mutable sign and likes to try new things and stay entertained, they are some of the most determined people I’ve ever met. You do not want to get in between a Gemini and their work. Gemini is a very mental sign as well, they’re good with tasks and enjoy getting them done and focusing on their work. As well as his firey Leo moon. Leo is a sign that I often think can change quite a lot depending on the chart and houses but his with the gemini, is creating a highly focused, ambitious and driven person.

they described him as the “relief pitcher” for the team when in crisis. He’s the one that comes into the game for a round or 2 when things aren’t going well to secure their win, then steps back out. If this isn’t the most accurate description for haechan and gemini/leo?! Leo and Gemini are both highly intelligent signs, I feel like people don’t talk about that a lot with leo but it’s true! Also his combination of leo with gemini is interesting because sometimes people have drive, ambition and passion, but there are other placement that kind of complicate how it gets expressed. And they can’t always fulfill all of their desires and passions. But having all gemini and that one leo is really in his favor, he’s very “this is what I want, so I’m going to get it”. It’s easy for him. He can easily bring his ambitions to fruition which is why he’s the “relief pitcher”. It’s gemini magic and leo talent honestly.

this was the extent of what they said for Haechan but I have more I’d like to add!

his openness is on par with his conscientiousness and that is also no surprise because even though gemini gets a rep. for being “detached” it’s actually a fairly open sign too. What gemini is open about depends greatly on the other placements, and in haechans case with his only other influences being leo and cancer, he can easily be open about those traits and desires. The attention, validation, love and affection. They are all very big parts of him, and he also has no problem speaking his mind. But he also isn’t as obsessive as other leo and cancer combinations because of his overwhelming gemini. It’s very “in this second I want affection” and then the next second he’s over it. With haechan I’ve always found it interesting how he is so openly affectionate but it never seems like an unhealthy attachment thing? he isn’t reliant on it, and can easily go from wanting it, to not. It’s very uncomplicated. This is also part of the Gemini rep. they are very flighty and their minds change by the second, but are also very self-reliant and independent. This is also why his emotionality is low even though his openness is high. Again, I don’t think he’s an emotionally driven person, he’s just open with his desires.

tldr; talented, confident, skilled, self-sufficient and independent. He is driven by exploring the world and people around him, he enjoys making connections. Very open about his thoughts and needs, but emotionally uncomplicated. His drive and ambition is bottomless, never-ending. What he wants, he gets.

Jaemin - “Optimistic My Way”

I would like to start by saying that Jaemin is the sole reason that it took me so long to get this post out. This boy has always, and probably always will, confuse the hell out of me. And I’m sure he likes it that way. Actually, I’m confident he likes it that way because he admitted to the psychologists that on the test they took he answered number 3 for every question, so he wouldn’t have to reveal too much about himself. This is why they labeled him as “my way”, very “do what I want” kind of person. They said he really made them use a lot of brain power, and I relate lol. Even outside of this post every time I watch nct dream I’m always trying to understand Jaemin. So here goes my best shot at understanding this man.

they mentioned jaemin is difficult and complicated, he’s hard to read, and he’s someone that cannot be perfectly described with one personality test. I agree, which is why I hope one day we can get those house placements please!

The first thing that caught my attention based off his chart is how small his blue hexagon is. I actually had to double check that the blue was him and not the average😅 because of how he answered the test I don’t know how accurate the hexaco is? they didn’t really comment on that but they did continue to reference it.

the main thing they talked about with Jaemin was about how he is very aware of what he does and doesn’t like, he knows who he gets along with and who he doesn’t, he has no problems showing when he doesn’t like something, and he is very uninterested and borderline apathetic when it comes to things and people he is simply not interested in.

I think where I get really tripped up with Jaemin is because he has 3 leo placements, yet I feel like he doesn’t act much like a typical leo in my opinion? At least not to the cameras. I honestly think Jaemin might be someone who is very different off camera and at home. When I see jaemin I see flashes of it, but I get a lot of his earth influence.

I want to start with his capricorn moon because I feel like it’s something i see the most in him. For starters, it is literally why he is so private. Even before this show, it was a well known thing amongst NCTzens that Jaemin is a very private person. He also comes off as very reserved, in control and calm. Jaemin answering every question with a 3, so that it neither over or under represents him, but puts him in the questionable middle, is very capricorn moon. Not wanting to be understood. Not wanting to appear as having any exact problems. They’re practical, controlled, level-headed... right? They’re not the ones with messy emotions, couldn’t be them.... That’s the whole capricorn struggle. The moon is put in a very tough spot with Capricorn. Scorpio moons are in fall and Capricorns are in detriment. But it works very differently. Scorpios have wickedly intense emotions that they are kind of scared of, so they hide them, but they want to be understood and feel safe enough to express them. Capricorn moons straight up deny their feelings.

On the bright side though, I feel like his Capricorn moon is also responsible for the other part of his personality which is: how weird he is. Capricorn moons are also known for being ridiculously funny and weird. Very weird. I think this is also where his Leo comes in and kind of teams up with his moon. Leo’s are natural performers and sometimes when I watch Jaemin I find myself being like “he is really putting on a show right now” but not in a bad way, I’m always highly entertained lol. He is a natural performer.

In haechan’s section I mentioned how, to me, leo is one of the signs that can change so drastically depending on the other planets and houses. I think jaemin is a really good example of this, because even without his hexaco chart we all know Jaemin is a huge introvert. He is actually a self-proclaimed introvert. He is open is the way he shows it, and he even said in a show that talking with people is hard because he loses so much energy. I think his Capricorn and Virgo play a big role in this and it’s why I’m so curious what his houses are and where that leo is. Because even though our moons affect us a lot, with 3 leo placements i would expect someone to be a little more extroverted.

Where I also see a lot of his Leo though, is of course, with how affectionate he is. he’s also very creative and a huge provider. A big misconception with leo is that all they do is take. This is one side to leo, and Haechan is a good example of that side because he has the gemini and leo moon, but Jaemin is a really good example of the strong provider and caretaker side of Leo. With his earth placements too. he is definitely someone who prides himself on taking care of people.

now to compare his hexaco to his birth chart, his extroversion, emotionality, agreeableness and honesty-humility is lower than average. Sure, part of that could be the way he took the test, but I also think it can be seen in his very controlling earth placements. Having earth in 2 of the planets that hold a lot of our emotions and expression, and the fact that it is virgo and capricorn and not taurus, is making him very in control of his emotions and expression, and he has strong boundaries. It also makes him more introverted. The low agreeableness is just his whole chart honestly. Leo is a fixed sign, and even though virgo is mutable, they still have very particular ways they like to do things, and capricorn is a leader and takes charge.

His openness is interesting to me and I wanna say that I think it’s very similar to what I wrote for haechan. He’s open, but not necessarily emotionally driven. He is open about the things that drive him, so not emotions, but something else. Work. His morals and values. His boundaries. Things he does and doesn’t like! lastly, his conscientiousness also fits into this, virgo capricorn and leo are all extremely driven, passionate and hard workers and we know work and stability is a high value and priority of his.

tdlr; hard to read, very private and likes it that way. He is driven by work, ethic, stability and providing. He knows his values, and has little interest in things he doesn’t care for. Optimistic, weird, funny and a natural performer. Likes to be in control and needs to recharge a lot. Probably the most different off camera and at home.

Meghan Markle: August 2021 to August 2022

This is a further elaboration of comments I made in this post.

This is regarding Meghan’s Varshaphala (annual solar return) chart from August 2021 to August 2022, primarily.

Drekkana descriptions are from James Kelleher’s book The Path of Light: Volume 2.

“Year” refers to the time period between August 2021 and August 2022; it does NOT correspond to the calendar year.

1. Annual Ascendant/Lagna The annual lagna/ascendant is Virgo, the natural 6th sign of the zodiac, ruled by Mercury. Mercury is in the 11th house closely combust the Sun within 3.5 degrees. This combustion renders Mercury invisible and a bit powerless for the year. The Sun is the 12th house lord and is not a friend to Mercury for this chart. On the positive side, there is a (slightly) mixed shuba kartari yoga (beneficial) to the 11th house, where Mercury and the Sun are placed, since the Moon is in the 10th house and Venus is in the 12th. Mars in the 12th house gives it a bit of mixed influence due to its natural malefic nature.

The ascendant/lagna nakshatra (lunar mansion) is Hasta, “the hand,” which also happens to be the same nakshatra as her natal Moon. Its shakti is the power to gain what we are seeking and place it in our hand; its desire is to have the gods place their favor in me. The ascendant is within the 2nd drekkana of Virgo, which is described as the following: "A dark man, with hair all over his body, and a piece of cloth around his head. He has a bow in one hand and a pen in the other. He is counting profits and expenditure." This gives a focus on writing, being assertive & angry, and a concern about money for the year.

Notably, both the 4th and 10th houses have papa kartari yogas (detrimental) to them, as they are both hemmed in by malefics. The 4th house is blocked in by Ketu in the 3rd and a retrograde Saturn in the 5th. The 10th house has Rahu (north node) in the 9th and the Sun in the 11th. A combust Mercury may lighten it slightly from its position in the 11th. These two papa kartari yogas—4th and 10th—make for a more difficult year. The 4th house is the house of happiness, and the 10th house is the house of career & activities outside the home.

Virgo has three dharma/purpose lords: Mercury (1st house/self), Saturn (5th house/progeny & past life credit), and Venus (9th house/luck & wisdom). As previously mentioned, Mercury is combust in the 11th house. Saturn is in its own sign, Capricorn, in the 5th house. Venus is in the 12th house and conjunct the 8th house lord, Mars. Mercury does not form a favorable Ithasala yoga with either Saturn or Venus. Instead, Mercury forms a Ishrafa yoga (failure in undertakings; disappointments) with both Saturn (5th and 6th house lord) and the Sun (12th house lord). Venus does not form any Tajika yogas with any planet in this chart.

2. Sun Position The Sun is placed in the 11th house, where it is conjunct the chart ruler, Mercury. The Sun is of medium strength at 8.20 units. The Sun rules the 12th house, which is a house of suffering, this year. The Sun is in Ishrafa yogas (failures, disappointments) with both Saturn and Mercury. Neither Saturn nor Mercury are friends to the Sun. The Ishrafa yoga with the Saturn connects the Sun, as 12th house lord, to the 5th house/progeny and the 6th/debt and enemies. The Ishrafa yoga with Mercury connects the Sun, again as 12th lord, to the 1st house/self and 10th house/career.

3. Muntha The Muntha (progressed ascendant) is placed in the 3rd house/communication. This position can indicate success through effort. The Muntha is placed in Scorpio, the natural 8th sign, which is indicative of sudden changes and turmoil. The Muntha is conjunct the Rahu-Ketu axis and is aspected by its own sign ruler, Mars. The aspect of Mars on the Muntha likely indicates quarrels, mental agony, and excessive expenditure. The Muntha is conjunct Ketu, which is karaka/indicator of losses & paranoia, and is not considered a positive aspect.

The Muntha lord, Mars, is placed in the 12th house, Leo. Leo is the sign associated with royalty. The 12th house is the house of loss and is generally considered a house of suffering. The Muntha lord in the 12th house is an adverse position. This generally indicates a loss in status.

Further, Mars is placed in Magha nakshatra, whose symbol is a throne room. This reinforces a loss in royal status. Mars is placed in the 1st drekkana of Leo, which describes the following: “A jackal and a vulture on a salmali tree. There is also a dog and a man wearing dirty clothes. The man is crying and leaving his parents.” This loss of status will likely provoke an emotion of alienation.

4. Year Lord Mercury is the Year Lord in addition to the chart ruler. Mercury’s focus to the year will likely be on new undertakings, attempted recognition through communication, and an attempt to elevate her professional status. Mercury is strong at 10.71 units; although, it is still combust in the 11th house and involved with two Ishrafa yogas.

Mercury is in Ashlesha nakshatra. Ashlesha is known as “the clinging,” “the entwiner,” and/or “the embracing.” Its symbol is a coiled snake, and its shakti is the power to poison. Its desire is to overcome its enemies. This nakshatra has a heavy association with poison and deception. Ashlesha people can feel unappreciated by partners, but it can be the other way around where they do not appreciate others.

Mercury is in the third/last drekkana of Cancer: "A man with a flat face, wearing jewelry, who has a snake coiled around him. He is on a boat, crossing the ocean, searching for his wife's jewels." This is a serpent drekkana, which can indicate someone bound by their circumstances (snake coiled around) and/or deceptive and manipulative qualities. Great effort is also indicated (crossing the ocean) along with being subservient to partner (searching for [partner]’s jewels.

Looking at the Dashamsha chart (chart for career/associated with 10th house), the Dashamsha lagna/ascendant is Libra with Mercury placed in the 1st house. There is a papa kartari yoga to the 1st house and Mercury in this divisional chart. Mars and Ketu are in the 2nd house while the Sun is in the 12th. Given that Mercury is the year lord, the experience of the career and activities outside the home is likely to be difficult.

Further, the Dashamsha chart ruler, which is Venus, is placed in the 6th house/struggles & enemies and conjunct the 6th house lord (Jupiter). This also seems to indicate a struggle for the year. Lastly, the Dashamsha lagna and Mercury are in the 1st drekkana of Libra, which has a business focus while concentrating on profits, “He is thinking about their prices and the profits he can make with them.”

5. Annual Ascendant/Lagna to Natal Chart Virgo is the 3rd house of Meghan’s natal chart. Her natal Virgo/3rd house contains Moon, Saturn, and Jupiter. The Moon in her natal chart is her ascendant/lagna ruler or chart ruler. The third house emphasis will be on communication and her courage or cowardice.

6. Natal Ascendant/Lagna to Annual Chart Her natal ascendant is Cancer, which is the 11th house of this annual chart. The Moon is located in the 10th house, which is under the previously mentioned papa karatari yoga in section 1. This is a dark Moon, only 24% full, which means it’s not very visible. Also, a dark Moon such as this is more malefic than benefic. The Moon benefits from an Ithasala yoga with Jupiter, ruler of the 4th/home and 7th (partner) houses; however, the Moon is also in an Ithasala yoga with Mars, which is lord of the 3rd/communication and 8th/sudden change houses. Hence, she is likely to experience sudden changes with her partner, home, and career since all three planets (Moon, Mars, Jupiter) are connected.

7. Natal Maha Dasa Ruler Meghan is currently running the Maha Dasa (time period) of Jupiter. Jupiter is placed in the 6th house/struggle & enemies, where it is also retrograde. Jupiter rules the 4th/home and 7th/partner houses; it is the karaka/indicator of husband and children. Jupiter is in Aquarius in Dhanishta nakshatra. Dhanishta means “the wealthy” generally and tends to be a problematic nakshatra for marriage in general. Jupiter is in the 1st drekkana of Aquarius. Hence, the same indications of the Jupiter from Prince William’s 2021 Varshaphala chart: travel, living on the misfortune of others; insecurity about basic survival; suggestion of mental instability; insulated & protected. These would apply particularly to the spouse, since Jupiter rules the 7th house and is the indicator of husbands.

As previously mentioned, Jupiter has an Ithasala yoga with the Moon, but Jupiter has a Ishrafa yoga (disappointments & failures) with Mars. Jupiter, the 7th house/marriage, is connected with the 8th house/scandal & sudden changes.

Looking at the Varshaphala navamsa (marriage) chart, it has a Taurus lagna/ascendant with Venus (navamsa ruler) in the 6th house/conflict. Venus is also the karaka/indicator of marriage and the placement of Venus in the 6th house is not good for marriage. Venus is in the 3rd drekkana of Libra, which is aggressive. Moreover, the 7th house of the navamsa has the 8th lord (Jupiter for this navamsa chart) in it. The 1st and 7th houses of the navamsa also have the Rahu-Ketu axis in them, which does not bode well for the marriage. The tenor of the navamsa chart tends to confirm the negative indications of the Ishrafa yoga between Jupiter and Mars.

8. Major Transits Meghan has a natal ascendant/lagna of Cancer. Her natal Moon is in Virgo in her 3rd house. Saturn, which is an inimical planet to her chart, has been transiting her 7th house since January 2020, when Saturn moved into Capricorn. Saturn rules both the 7th and 8th houses for a Cancer lagna. Even though Saturn rules her 7th house, its placement in the 7th house will—and likely has been—creating stresses and problems. Jupiter, which is a friend to her Cancer lagna, is currently in her 8th house but will retrograde back into her 7th house/Capricorn in mid-September until 20 November. Jupiter rules her 6th/struggle and 9th/luck houses. Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn. From late November (2021) until 13 April 2022, Jupiter will be transiting Aquarius, which is her 8th house from lagna (ascendant). November 2021 until April 2022 will likely be much tougher for her since the planet of luck, Jupiter, is in a difficult house (8th). Jupiter will later be transiting its own sign of Pisces from April 2022 until April 2023, which would be more beneficial to her.

Additionally, the lunar nodes (Rahu & Ketu) are transiting the signs of Taurus and Scorpio until 17 March 2022. This is significant because Meghan has her (Jaimini) house padas in these two signs. Her arudha lagna (public lagna) is in Scorpio, while her 7th house pada is in Taurus. The nodes traveling through these two signs are bringing turmoil & disruption to her 1st (self) and 7th (marriage) houses, particularly as seen by the public.

9. Corroboration with 2021 Maha Tithi Pravesha chart Looking at a different kind of annual chart to see what kind of corroboration there is with the Varshaphala chart.

This chart has a Libra lagna/ascendant in Swati nakshatra. Swati’s shakti is the power to scatter like the wind. The wind can be restless, and this may bring an unfocused, scattered, or ungrounded quality to the year. The lagna degree is in the 1st drekkana of Libra. "A man who is sitting in a shop on the roadway. He is skilled in using small balances to weigh and measure things. He has gold and diamonds in his hands to be weighed. He is thinking about their prices & the profits he can make with them." Again, there is a focus on what profits can be made, similar to what her Varshaphala (solar return) career divisional (dashamsha) chart suggested.

Venus, the ruler of the chart (and Libra), is placed in the 12th house/Virgo, where it is debilitated. Venus is in Uttara Phalguni nakshatra. Uttara Phalguni has the shakti of wealth and accumulation through marriage. Given that Venus is debilitated in Virgo and placed in the house of loss (12th), it would appear unlikely that wealth would be obtained this year. Instead, it appears that it would likely be lost. Additionally, Venus also rules the 8th house (Taurus), which is the house of the partner’s wealth. Seems fair to say that money will be wasted, and financial losses will be happening. The financial fluctuation and losses appear to be confirmed by Rahu’s presence in the 8th house. Further, consider this debilitated Venus’s placement in Virgo’s 1st drekkana. "A virgin girl who is wearing dirty clothes although she desires nice clothes and money. She is carrying a pot of flowers and is going to her teacher's home." There is the likelihood of a tainted reputation (“dirty clothes”) with a strong desire for wealth (“desires nice clothes and money”). With everything mentioned so far, it looks as if Meghan will have a serious loss of reputation and wealth.

Mars is ruler of the 7th house/marriage & partner. Mars is placed in Leo conjunct Mercury, the 12th ruler (loss), and aspected by Jupiter, ruler of the 6th/enemies. Mars is located in Purva Phalguni nakshatra, whose desire is to have the best share amongst the gods. Purva Phalguni is a “community” property nakshatra, associated with earnings. Mars is a natural malefic placed in this nakshatra, which indicates a likelihood of having a difficulty acquiring earnings and/or “community” property. Mars is also placed in the 2nd drekkana of Leo, which is a weapon drekkana. This tends to indicate that the spouse, as represented by Mars, will be aggressive about any “community” property and earnings.

The chart does have Shasha Yoga, which is Saturn in its own sign in the 4th house, which should strengthen the home and residence. However, the chart does have Shakata yoga, which is seen by Jupiter and the Moon in a 6/8 relationship. This can bring about sudden changes.

Looking at the navamsa (marriage divisional chart), we see a Sagittarius lagna with its ruler, Jupiter, placed in the 12th house. There is a shuba kartari yoga to the navamsa lagna since Jupiter is in the 12th and Venus is in the 2nd house. This strengthens the chart. However, Jupiter is in the 12th house, which is the house of loss, and receives aspects by three malefics—Ketu, Saturn, and Mars. Given that the 12th house is a house of suffering, this notes that the marriage is going to suffer. There is also a Shakata yoga in this navamsa since Jupiter and the Moon are in a 6/8 relationship again. There will likely be sudden changes within the marriage.

10. Overall ~ looks like Meghan is very focused on money this year ~ will likely have sudden changes in her life, such as a change in finances ~ sudden change to her marriage, aka separation/divorce ~ will suffer a loss in royal status, which could be prior to the separation/divorce announcement.
