🚨CRINGE WARNING, MY WRITING🚨

Ok, so uh... here’s an old Law x Alanna fanfic so herrggnnn

If you don’t wanna read it, scroll really fast, I can’t figure out how to do the undercut on mobile... and uh, tw:serious hand monching????

“I’m not hungry...” Alanna said lightly, gently bowing her head as she excused herself from eating. Some of the fellow Heart Pirate’s eyes all went on her. “Why not?” Bepo asked nervously. “The food’s good, but, I’m done. That’s all!” She waved her hands, smiling nervously as she tilted her head to the side.

Honestly, the reason was so stupid. It just... really made her feel uncomfortable eating so close to Law... and he was 3 people away from her. It wasn’t because he was so far away! It was because he... was so close..! She couldn’t believe this was happening! She averted her eyes, going to stand up, but someone’s hands took her shoulders with a strong and firm grasp, setting her back down onto the wooden floor.

What? Wh.. WHAT WAS THIS?! This was so shocking! With frightened eyes, she looked up at the person who’d set her back down.

“I’ve been watching you, Alanna-ya.”

IT WAS LAW!!! ... ???

Confused, she let a tiny squeak escape her throat.

“You haven’t been eating much at all. And you’ve been watching me instead. What’s your deal?” His eyebrows furrowed deeper, which made her nervous. He was going to wrinkle his face if he kept up with that!

The brunette sputtered, but to no avail, he ended up speaking again before she could answer.

“It’s been 4 days and you’ve only had a couple bites here and there.”

All eyes were on them. How embarrassing! She could feel her face begin to radiate steam as she stared down at the ground. Why was he doing this? Why did he care so much?

The captain kneeled down, gripping onto her chin with his thumb and index finger. Her heart began to beat against her chest as he tilted her face up to look him in the eye. Such beautiful eyes and a sharp, charming glare. Ah.. She felt like she was getting lost in them the more she stared.

“As a doctor, I want you to take care of yourself. Especially if you’re so weak and frail. You won’t last a minute if you keep your act up like this.”

Oh good. Now he was mothering her. Why... why did he care? He never cared about himself.. why would he care about anyone else? Especially someone like her? This felt so infuriating! Why was he being like this? “C-can you not?” She muttered under her breath, tried to look away, but the way he held her face with his- ah!

Law used his hand to squeeze her cheeks, turning her face to keep looking at him. “WwhAT ARE YOU DOING?!” She sputtered, her words muffled as she placed both of her petite hands onto his. Was he trying to embarrass her? Mock her? Tease her? Any of those were the worst.. she just wanted to go home again... Maybe sleep.

“Well? Are you going to eat more often?” He asked, a firm, serious tone in his voice. “Y-YEBS!” She slapped his hand, wheezing. If he kept this up, he’d definitely notice how hot her cheeks had gotten!

His grip loosened, his fingers sliding off of her face as she gasped, placing her hand on her unsteady heart. This was it! This was going to be the death of her! Any more surprises from this man and she was-

Law cleared his throat, sitting down in front of her. A light shade of pink sprinkled against his face as he took his chopsticks, picking up an egg roll, holding his other hand under it to make sure it wouldn’t fall. He moved it towards her, closing his eyes. “H-here.”

“Huh?” The pale girl’s face went blank. What was he doing?

“O-open your mouth.”

“What?”

“O-open your damn mouth!” His voice rose a bit.

“H-HEAVENS!! W-why?” Alanna wondered out loud, a couple of whispers surrounding them from his crew mates.

“I don’t believe you.”

He didn’t believe her...? What? Wait. He didn’t *believe* her?! “Well, why not? I-i can f-“ He placed the egg roll into her mouth before she could finish her sentence. “People like you say you’ll do it, but you never do.”

!!..

“I’m going to feed you till you actually can prove to me that you’re not lying.” He pulled the chopsticks out of her mouth, straightening his posture. There was more speaking till Law glared at them. “If you’re done eating, l e a v e.”

The others smirked and said some teasing words, but Alanna really couldn’t come back into reality. Her whole body was shaking as she stared at the chopsticks in his hand. Did he really just do that? Did he really just feed her? REALLY?! Was she... daydreaming? If she was, she didn’t want to stop daydreaming.. or dreaming. Either of them. Neither. Neither of them. She wanted him to keep going..!

Once the others left the room, Law turned back to her, jolting as he watched her take his hand, holding it delicately. He dropped the chopsticks onto his pants as he trembled. “A-Alanna-ya..! What are you... W-w-what are you doing?” He sputtered, swirls in his eyes as she gently stroked his slender fingers. He could feel his breath nearly exit his lungs, not wanting to return.

His hands were so nice. The detail put into his hand tattoos were also very elegant, even if they had mean intentions to them. She turned it around, looking at the palm of his hand, slowly tracing her finger around the crevices. His hand was so much bigger and stronger than her’s.. Yet, as a surgeon, he used them so well. Even without his special powers, he was a very talented man, and that made her happy.

There was silence as she stared before she pulled his hand up to her face. WHAT WAS SHE DOING?! S.. STOP!! Law pulled his free hand up to his face, trying to cover it from embarrassment. This was too much for him to handle!

A gentle peck was placed onto his hand. “A-A... Al... Alann-!!!!!!” Law nearly leapt out of his skin as she nibbled onto his index finger. “!! $&#&*£¥€&*&**#&!...!!!!!” He let out weird noises and unintelligible words. She pulled away, glaring up at him. “I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself. Don’t you ever embarrass me like that again!” She hissed at him. “I-I WASN’T!” The fluffy hatted man exclaimed, a shocked expression still on his face. “I was just trying to GHHBGAHAGAHGHHGGGGNNNN!!!” He covered his face again as she nibbled him again. “SSSTOP!” He sputtered and gasped. “I was trying to help you out! I don’t like watching you leave your food and not eHAGSGHAGGHA!!!!!!!” He froze up when she placed his finger into her mouth. “A-ALANNA-YA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING..?!” He half wept, tugging his hat visor over his face.

She pulled his finger out of her mouth. “I said, don’t do it again.”

“Or what?”

“Wh-grr! I’ll do it again!”

“Do what?”

For a while they just stared at each other. “Y...YOU’RE TOTALLY INTO IT, AREN’T YOU?!”

The raven haired male averted his eyes. “I..into what?”

“YOU!!!” She quickly stood up but was quickly grabbed by the wrist, pulled down into his firm, strong chest as he caught her. “Maybe I am.” He smirked before his face turned beet red. “B..no, I’m not...!” He glanced away quickly. “Shut up!” She hit his chest, laughing before he stopped her, by stroking her cheek and pushing her hair behind her ear. “I am a little.” He said bashfully.

H..hot. Nice.

She gently began to lean in towards him. AH!! WHAT WAS SHE DOING...?! WAS SHE.. GONNA KISS HIM?!! His lips were right there! So... w..why not? Both of their hearts were thumping like drums at a festival, their lips centimeters away from each other.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE CAPTAIN?!” Bepo slammed the door open. “NOOO!!! BEPO, WHY!!” Shachi cried out as the group of Law’s crewmen fell onto the ground. “THEY WERE JUST GETTING GOOD-“

From the shock of it all, Law had shoved Alanna down into his chest, pressing her into it as she struggled. Even if he was flat as a board and muscular, she sTILL COULDN’T BREATH!! “CAN’T I EVER GET PRIVACY!?” He yelled at them.

It was a strangely profound question. The emphasis was a bit much but Olivine was rarely caught with her gloves off and some of her arms exposed. The delicate tattoo work that started at her fingertips and moved downwards was always a conversation starter, however there were hardly any perceptive enough to notice the scars on her hands that were covered by them.

“Well, you could say fate did that to me, and I did it to myself.” She began, rolling one sleeve down to show more of the colourful extent of the tattoos. “It’s quite a fright when you accidentally light yourself on fire as a child.”

To emphasize the point, Olivine snapped her fingers and the red petals glowed, producing a tiny flame in the woman’s hand. Being the master that she was of her semblance now, it would have taken burnout to harm her once more.

She continued over her demonstration to sate Virgo’s curiosity. “So given how my Semblance works... we simply tattooed over the scars as a starting guideline.It was my father’s idea and it’s worked quite well. It’s helped me stay alive.”

...For A Program Of Our Own | Chapter 1 | EVENT [2 / 2]

[TW:HAND TRAUMA]

And so here we were, back at the auditorium. There was no pretense here anymore. Just the sisters, standing on stage. Chieko at the podium, Atsuko to her side, with her arms crossed, and Reiko in the back, a grin on her face. Chieko took a deep breath, before calling this meeting to order.

“First, before we get down to business, we have one last issue to resolve. Seijin Jaki, please join us on stage.”

Oh. The iconoclast blinked, before smirking.

“I’d fucking love to, but I’m not quite ready for my acceptance speech.”

Chieko narrowed her eyes.

“I’m afraid this is not optional.”

She looked to Atsuko, then Reiko. They both nodded, and in a flash they were behind him, hooking his arms and dragging him onto the stage. He struggled, but between the two girls they easily overpowered him.

“I understand you were responsible for a serious act of vandalism on this island.”

Seijin opened his mouth to protest, but Chieko poked his forehead, and his words failed him.

“Yes, I’m aware, I’m aware. And it’s much worse. You didn’t even have the balls to do it yourself. That’s much worse, indeed.”

Reiko pressed his hand to the the top of the podium, and slowly forced his fingers apart. Atsuko produced a pair of scissors from her jacket, glinting faintly in the light, infernally sharp.

“You need to be taught a lesson. You need to learn your place here.”

Chieko nodded to Atsuko, who brought the shears down... piercing Seijin’s hand. He let out a cry of pain and writhed, his hand firmly pinned down. But at a nod from Chieko, her sister pulled the shears out, sending the boy slumping to the ground, clutching his hand. After it started to sink in that they were finished with him, he rolled off the stage, retreating to a far-off seat and snickering. Did he actually learn a lesson? Was he just trying to act tough? Who knows... He sure was bleeding, though.

“Now that this is out of the way, let’s get back to business.”
