Man in a Suitcase: Web with Four Spiders (1.23, ITC, 1968)
"Why me? With your name all you have to do is pick up your telephone, you'd be up to your neck in nice, keen, young Harvard-trained security boys. Probably drum and bugle corps to boot."
"Yes, and those photographs would be in the FBI dossier."
"Or a private one. I could make copies. See what they'd buy me."
"Oh no, you've already answered that. My name is Norbert; you are a discredited American agent. No one will accept your word against mine."
"Good. But I'm expensive. I call it my self-respect bonus."

Look, Madame Web is not a GOOD movie, but in addition to being a hilarious train wreck on all accounts, it also provides an a different set-up for Peter Parker’s life that I’m actually interested in: where his uncle’s weird bestie from work and her three adopted daughters help look after him while protecting New York as some kind of localized, all-female Spider Society.

Nineteen Eighty-Four (George Orwell)
"It tells the story of Winston Smith, a citizen of the miserable society of Oceania, who is trying to rebel against the Party and its omnipresent symbol, Big Brother." The Party desires absolute control over the citizens to the point where they try to change the language to make sure the people cannot even think of rebellion. That is extremely Web."
The Spider and the Fly (Tony Diterlizzi & Mary Howitt)
"The poem itself was referenced in the podcast with regard to the Web on multiple occasions. Also, the illustrations? Fucking hell. This is the irl 'A Guest for Mr. Spider'."

Say, if you like cats so much, why don't you just get one? Lord Hater has a pet, Dr. Schwarzschild has a pet...
Who? ...Wait, that's Bert.
Anyways pets-- even relatively low maintenance animd like cats-- are a lot of work. And I barely have enough time to take care of myself!
Seriously, how'm I supposed to remember to feed it when I keep forgetting to eat?
