kiss me ! part 1

jake was definitely head over heals for your cold personality, and he wasn't going to let anyone take you. but heres the problem: he couldn't find a single way to keep a conversation with you. despite your scary demeanour, jake decides to man up and does everything out of his will to get you.

fluff, jake x reader, (not proofread)

jake was frustrated to know that many guys have been after you the second you stepped in that classroom doing the bare minimum.

hearing ‘wanna grab lunch with me?’ here and there somehow always made him ball his fist to prevent himself from being a problem. yet again he couldn’t blame other people for wanting to ask you out either. he even sometimes wished that you had rejected him so he could move on. although of course he didn’t really mean that.

because now he was wandering around the school looking for you while he was on a “bathroom break” during his soccer practice. he knew you always liked to stay at the school rooftops admiring the view while listening to music. not like he was stalking you or anything...

you turn your head to look at the person at the door "you again? when are you going to leave me alone? pervert" you scoff, kicking the little pieces of rocks as you avoid jakes eyes. it was almost the millionth time you've seen jake this day, and it was always for the same reason, to piss you off, well more like ask you out --which still pisses you off.

you weren't one to believe in love, or maybe just not yet. because you weren't even sure if you were capable enough to love someone. even the thought of having to be so sweet and touchy with each other grossed you out, and of all people, jake especially knew that. so why was he so determined to get you to fall in love with him?

"hmmm maybe never?" jake chuckles at the sight of you rolling your eyes "then i'll move schools --countries if that's what takes for you to leave me alone" as you turn around and face him, eyes widened at the thin space between the both of you "and maybe i'll find you"

you raise your eyebrows "well that's borderline criminal act" you wander off "now sim jaeyun i think it's best for you to leave before you add up to my anger --i mean you already are. but wouldn't that be horrible?" jake's eyes follow you as you drag your feet "not really" he states "you're hot when you're mad"

you scoff out of disbelief, hitting him hard on his arm, looking away almost immediately as you trying to hide your heated face "shut up before i'll push you off this building" letting go of the grip you once had on his collar, "alright, alright sorry ma'am. but if you're really mad for whatever reason, come with me. i'll take you to a place" he suggests, offering his hand for you to take "you should be happy. i normally wouldn't even consider letting anyone know about my spot" he shoots you a grin

you take time trying to consider his offer, but as much as you don't want to stroke his ego about convincing you to go with him, you really needed something to release your anger "as long as you shut up about this" you give him a side glance "no promises" he sends a wink your way "ugh, fine"

he gently takes your hand as he drags you out of the school "can you jump over the wall?" jake looks at your flustered face "....no..?" you answer, making a line with your lips, causing him to let out a small chuckle "okay cutie, i'll help you up" you cringe at the nickname "call me that again and i'll break your neck" you step on his knee as he tries to boost you up "yeah that's right, keep going"

but as jake looks up he couldn't help but feel flustered, looking away "i made it!" you pant, hands resting on your knees as you wait for jake to come up as well. but after a few seconds of not hearing him, you call out his name, peaking your head over the wall "jake? i swear to god if you leave me out here i'm killing you"

"n-no i didn't leave you" he stutters, trying to collect himself from being a flustered mess "then come up here! the sun is setting, you wouldn't want to miss it"

"y-yeah it's just that i uh, i saw.....your....you know?" he explains, his hands not knowing what to do "you saw my what!?" you shrieked "no no it's okay i looked away!" he reassures you "ugh, just- just come up here!" you yell, already walking ahead as you try to cool down your heating face "so pink aye?" jake jokes, catching up to you

"SIM JAEYUN!" you yell, kicking him on his ass "ow! okay sorry!"

jake was resting his head on his hands, watching as you play with the small puddle while watching the sunset, not even an hour in, jake panics as he sees the amount of missed calls from riki "oh shit! my soccer practice!"

the following days after that, almost everything remained the same, jake continuously teasing and flirting with you, you getting in trouble for the littlest things, never coming home until the latest of the hour. but yet again, almost everything remained the same

you were now in denial of your feelings towards sim jaeyun. it would hurt too much of your pride to actually admit it, because after all, you've always told sim jaeyun you hated him.

you groan "jake, there's a reason why i'm failing english, okay? just accept the fact that i'm the worst" you bury your head on the pages of your book, seated across jake at the back of the library "i didn't even ask for you to help me! i simply just asked for your notes that just happened to have a first grader's hand writing" he scoffs, a little taken back by your sudden insult on his hand writing "thanks? i know you didn't ask for help, i just wanted to do this with you so that you don't get detention for not knowing proper english" he explains, handing you another sheet of paper with an 54 circled on the right corner "seriously y/n? 54? come on, one last set of questions and i'll take you to the new cafe just across the street"

and almost immediately, you bring your head up, grabbing the pen and taking the set of questions. making jake giggle "y/n, just say that you like me, you know i'm not going to reject you-- ow!" you smack him on the head with the pencil "that's absolute nonsense!" you whisper with a harsh voice, digging your face on the note book as you try to cover the little smile you had on your face

i think it was safe to say you got 4 out of 10 right, causing you to almost have a mental breakdown at the library "i can't do this sim" you groan "i think you just need a break yeah? wanna head to the cafe?" jake stands up to pack your stuff, giggling at the sight of your head still buried in between the pages of the book "c'mon y/n" he kneels beside you "get up, let's go to that cafe"

you've never felt your pride hurt as much as this did, having to show jake how bad your were at english, him having to tutor you without you asking for help, and jake bringing you to the cafe even though you weren't even remotely close to getting at least 6 right

and you weren't exaggerating when when you say jake had to drag you all the way to the cafe "hi! what can i get for you today sir?" the girl says, the obvious heart eyes she has for him pissing you off even more "hi yeah i'd like to have a caramel machiatto" he responds politely, smiling at the obvious glare you held at the girl, poking out your tongue after she was called by the manager, an old lady replaces her "anything else for your girlfriend--" before you could correct her, jake immediately speaks up "she'll have (drink)"

he smiles at the old lady before paying "i'm sending you money later whether you like it or not" you roll your eyes "and i'll send it back" he holds your waist as he leads you to a table, causing your heart to beat 10 times faster "yeah? well i'll send it back to you again! i'll keep doing it until you die!" he scoffs at you "as if!"

even after multiple attempts of trying to make jake ask you out, the boy who you thought was so smart couldn't take a single hint at all.

but in jake's defence, you were a little bad, considering how bad you were with boys, he vividly remembers that one time when you were trying so hard to make him jealous by talking to other guys. he even laughed as you struggled to keep up with a conversation.

or that other time when you tried to hold his hand just to do something romantic just for once but ended up letting go because he wouldn't stop teasing you about it. he still took your hand, yet he never asked you out still.

"you okay darling?" your mother asks, taking a quick glance at your droopy form leaning on the counter as you wait for her to finish cooking "is it a boy?" she teases, making you perk your head up "i knew it!" she gives you an endearing smile as she gives you a plate with eggs on it, a heart shaped ketchup placed on the top of the egg "mom!" you whine

"okay fine, it is a boy. but don't tell dad" you whisper, smiling once she zips her lips "what's his name?" she asked, tilting her head as she leans on the counter in front of you "jake"

"jake?! i love jake! you should invite him over sometime" she squeals "he's a nice guy, i'm sure he wouldn't hurt you, so what's bothering you?" you sigh, taking a sip of the water "he likes me, it's like the whole world knows. but he just keeps on flirting with me and never actually tries to ask me out" you pout, aggressively taking a bit of the scrambled eggs, making your mother chuckle "oh baby, i'm sure it'll happen soon. just give him some time! unless if you're that impatient, then maybe you should try considering to be the one who makes the first move" she walks away, heading upstairs

no, as much as you hate it, that would hurt too much of your pride. so you decided to wait.

summer just had started and you couldn't even explain how much you hated the heat. staying under the shade 70% of the time whenever you went out with jake and his friends "guys! i have an announcement" jay yells, you were currently over at jay's house, just having a little party with just the 8 of you "my father booked us a trip to hawaii"

watched all of the untamed / cql in two weeks after my friend 1 told me abt mdzs a hundred years ago and my friends 2 and 3 tried to get me into cql for like two whole years and there are.

feelings.

very first scene is a very dramatic death in the middle of nightmare battle on sith planet land . i will forget abt it in the next tenish episodes and then will be very surprised when it becomes Extremely Painful

in retrospect, chaos goblin wei wuxian must have had a blast pretending to be so cRaZy and be as disruptive as he could as mo xuanyu lbr

wen qing deserves so many awards for so many things but not snapping and just stabbing wen chao is at the top

that scene at lan qirens class where wwx talks about using resentful energy to fight a violent spirit. exquisite.

It establishes Good Student lan wangji, wei wuxian as curious and questioning and not afraid of taboo, lwj sees that wwx is not, in fact, a dumb ass hes just a Dumbass, shows us the audience (esp. a western audience) how shocking the idea of disrupting the dead/dying and controlling resentful energy actually is, the theoretical foreshadow arguing, everyone else like ‘shUT UP’, “and how could you ensure that the resentful energy would obey you and not hurt other?” “well i havent thought that far” and of course, lan qiren just straight up lobbing a hard object at wwx head,. chefs kiss

fellas is it gay to bother the hot rule obessessed nerd from ur school and make drawings of him with flowers in his hair and then hide gay porn in his book to antagonize him and ask him to hold ur hand and be ur friend and talk to him all the time and get him drunk and give him bunnies bc you know he likes them and give him a lantern and always want his attention and dedicate yourself to getting him to smile-

the costuming in this is also soooo exquisite. the embroidery? the fabrics? the details? how every sect and clan has a distinct style and architecture? (also ik they based each off of dif periods in chinese history which is REALLY fucking cool) just chefs kiss

the direction too!. i enjoy the unusual camera movements and i think they give it that Vibe, also their composition is PARTICULARLY good when it comes to telling the subtext through position of camera/position of character (like nhs off to the side in scenes he at first glance doesnt need to be/ how lwj is often centered when hes Jealous Yearning at wwx being affectionate w other ppl, wwx return from burial mounds etc)

ik madam yu is like Badass Milf Check and shes not getting any mom of the year awards but im delighted at how messy she is. IMAGINE that woman on tiktok

the family dynamics in general on this showwwww, both blood/ adopted/ found families, brotherly bonds and lifelong friendships just. rly. truly. fucked me up. theyre all so important and complicated and well rounded and beautiful and tragic

and beyond being a Win For the Gays im so glad the relationships w wwx and jiang yanli/ wen qing were NOT changed from platonic bc they are so much better like that imo. like maybe if we didnt Live In A Society it wouldnt be so, but the fact wwx and others can love and value them so much and theres nothing romantic or sexual abt it is like. so refreshing. especially @ jyl, with the way he and jc are overprotective of her and shes such a nurturing/care taker figure for them, it would just not vibe as well if they made it romantic

i love that this is a story abt Wei Wuxian, the Yiling Patriarch aka Actual Satan/Boogey Man/Village With/Public Enemy Number One , my dude is literally a necromancer who only dresses in black and has evil smokey black tendrils wafting out of him, but the really edgy one is still jiang cheng, pastel purple fashion icon

and speaking of best/worst siblings wei wuxian and jiang cheng *immediately starts crying*

its sad tho, that BARELY ANY of the women have like.... actual important conversations let alone relationships with each other at all in the story. and like wq and jyl have stayed at the same place for extended periods of time, where wq actively took care of her TWICE, and still! not one measly convo, nothing! ................ .𝓌ₕᵧ

and like!!! uncertain but so relieved jc who just HUGS him w no reservations for once and its not like he isnt just as worried as lwj abt wwx and what hes doing, but he chooses in that moment to enjoy getting him back first and mmhmMMMmMm yes (maybe my favorite scene in the whole show? MAYBE SO. )

the dramatic rain. wen qing desperately calling out to wen ning. the ghosts/puppets killing the guards. how terrifying wn actually was while wwx was controlling him :( lwj goeing after him to try and stop him and then he just; he Sees him and understands him even if he cant actually do anything about it other than let them go.

both wwx and jyl getting lotus ponds at the burial mounds and in lanling bc they miss lotus pier ;;;;;;;w

;;;;; wish jyl had actually gone into the burial mounds. we were robbed of jyl and wq meeting again and jyl meeting a-yuan and seeing the settlement and the homes and all ;w; at least jc did go, stab wounds and broken arms and all

wwx like... having thrown his whole life away to help the wens (yeah the sect leaders and jin guangshan in particular wanting his stygian tiger amulet was an Element but still) and not.... necessarily regretting it, but grappling with all of the consequences of it... becoming moody and drepressed at times, missing his family and lotus pier and his friends and probably simply missing being around people and causing trouble, extrovert that he is, lashing out at the wens and at a-yuan, just in general the whole messiness of that experience

the way the resentful energy does affect his temperament is rly nice bc its not too in your face,(i mean outside of the Shaky Hands of Rage) but like he clearly has a much lesser control on his anger and impulsivity (tall order) than both before bm and after hes ressurected

THE PARALLEL BETWEEN JIN LING BEING A LIFELINE FOR JIANG CHENG AND A-YUAN FOR LAN WANGJI AFTER THE BATTLE AT THE NIGHTLESS CITY

and like . the fact! that lwj and jc dislike each other!!. jc projects blame onto him for wwx both “leaving” him and indirectly causing their families deaths and when hes so consumed by it he makes wwx an enemy, lwj is there now? trying to protect him?? and lwj, who can never understand the pain that wwx , indirectly or not put jc through, but who was right there when jc tried to kill him and will never allow him to hurt wwx again. and how they like. in a way project blame of their tragedies onto each other while dealing with some type of survivor guilt and in their own way still loving wwx through it all??? amd in way its kind of fundamentally selfish but also tragically understandable? and like when u put it against the fact that after he disappears during the sunshot campaign they were looking for him together and fought together??

JUST. THE CHARACTERS. AND THE RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS. MAN. UGH. GOD.

and like i think thats what makes it so good? its such a sad and painful and violent story, edgy even, but its compelling bc at the center of it there are all of these relationships and different types of love and hope and. :( i love it

Hope for the future

one of the ?? things i love the most is the fact that the main cast are often in situations where theyre hunted/running but they like. never wear disguises... just going around in their gorgeous expensive clan clothes and hair ornaments and distinctive spiritual weapons.... maybe w a straw hat on, just for kicks

aaaaaaa my favorite blasty boy katsuki bakugou!!!!! <3 thank you anon!!!

favorite thing about them: dhjdkdajh how do i choose??? it's a well known fact how much i adore katsuki. for one, i think his determination and insistence on total victory is just so inspiring. his absolute certainty that he will succeed is something i've always admired about people irl bc i am not a confident individual myself. it's incredible to see others who are so assured and strong!! (also. i love me some hard shell, gooey center kind of motherfuckers, and that gremlin fits the bill extremely well.)

least favorite thing about them: hm. this is a hard one as well. i love how complex his character is so there are so many flaws of his that i find fascinating. maybe how he refuses help/has to do things himself? (at least earlier on in his development). it's not something i dislike about him, i just want him to be able to heal and grow and i'm glad that he's starting to understand (through seeing it happen to deku) that he can't go it alone. <3

favorite line: oh god, there are so many i could choose, especially from the recent chapters. but the one that comes to mind immediately is an old one that gives me shivers every time: "But at that moment, without thinking, my body simply moved on its own".

brOTP: i love the bakusquad interactions! going on hikes and training with kiri (honestly i love their broship so much!!! they're cute romantically too but i just adore some guys bein' dudes as well), playing video games with kaminari (kami's actually really good and he and baku team up to wipe the floor with randos online), picking up some comics to read with sero (this seems like a random thing but sero would totally mention he liked some of the manga/comics on baku's shelf and invite him all chill), shopping with mina (he would say he hates it but he lowkey loves helping her pick things out and dress up but if you tell anyone about it you're fucking DEAD). also. having a broship with ururaka is one of my favorite headcanons. (they train quirkless until they're both beat the hell up and then go get bubble tea) <3

Plot: You only have nine days to tell him how you feel but...maybe you've been chasing the wrong guy.

"Why did you drag me out here, Bakugo."

Shisou puts one of his hands in his pockets as he stares at the surprisingly quiet Bakugo.

"You know exactly why I called you out here, Tom Cat!"

"Tom Cat? Now that's a new one"

" UGH JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN! It's about Y/n."

Shinsou gives Bakugo his full undivided attention after hearing that he wants to talk about you.

"Ever since Mr. Aizawa informed to the class about Y/n's qurik that shitty Deku been making theory about how to save her."

Shinsou eyes widen, "Wait really! What were some of his theories?"

"HIS THEORIES THEY ALL SUCKED! I BLEW UP HIS NOTEBOOK AFTER READING ALL OF THEM."

Shinsou let's out a long sigh saying, "Why am I not surprised" as he exhales.

Hatsume pushes you into a closet and blocks it with something but you can't see that it is.

"HATSUME! HEY LOOK IM SO SORRY I-I THOUGH YOU AND SHINSOU HAD SOMETHING!"

"We did until you came along! AND TOOK IT ALL AWAY"

"Yesterday I went to Shinsou's house to check on him....I-I called so many times and all he did was push me away! HE PUSHED ME AWAY FOR YOU!"

"Shinsou didn't even want to talk he used his quirk on me and walked away".

Y/n puts her head on the closet door and sighs "Hitoshi...no he couldn't have.. b-but even if he did that give you no right to put me in here!"

"You'll stay in there until someone finds you..if they do. Hatsume walks to the door, you panic as you hear her footsteps slowly fade.

" HATSUME! LET ME OUT!"

"Don't worry just sit tight and enjoy the party~ oh! I almost forgot if you're looking for your phone it's...broken"

Hatsume says after throw your phone at wall leaving a big phone sized hole.

You kick on the door screaming for help as you voice as muffled by the loud party music right outside the room. Leaning against the wall Y/n can't help but think about how everything she feared would happened.

"GASP! Is this you finally facing reality HAHAHA! GOOD!"

"Oh pipe down you stupid cat! I already gotta deal with this closet bullshit I don't need you right now"

Kirishima yells from across the hallway "Sorry BakuBro!"

Bakugo then notices the square shape hole in his wall and proceeds scream.

"I KILL WHOEVER DARED STEP IN MY DOMAIN!"

Bakugo glares at his closet as he hears rustling coming from it. Bakugo moves Kirishima's huge tower of dumbells and flings opens his closet.

"TIME TO DIE YOU BASSSSssss...tard? "

"Mmh?" Y/n squints, at the blurry figure until it comes into focus and she sees Bakugo.

Katsuki lays his head on Y/n's lap "Oops" he said with a smirk

Okay but au where they're not all related and five is a mysterious orphan Diego keeps running into at odd hours of the night and then him just being like "fuck it he's like 13 he can't be out alone at night" and then just takes him home like a godamn stray and five is THRIVING under the positive attention he never had I beg of you please feed my soul. she lives in the mansion but she can go outside and DO THINGS and she makes them COOKIES and she LOVES HER KIDS and GRANDKIDS and five ADORES her ok

basically five is happy with his pseudo family that’s it thank you for your time

hazel and agnes are the nice couple who run griddys and birdwatch

five is fond of them too honestly like he just loves going to griddys because it has so many happy memories for him and its where he met diego (sorta) and also yay hazel and agnes!!

Personal recap Worlds 2019 - Ladies SP

Hello everyone, little introduction first because I gained some new followers lately. Welcome to my PERSONAL recaps. The first of the ladies SP! (just a quick reminder, I have my favorits and this is a very personal recap and not free of any bias 😁 but I won't shut up)

Well expect the unexpected! We have an expected leader after the SP Alina Zagitova! But the order after the SP is very unexpected! And we also saw some skaters not making the final who usually do and those who stayed a bit under the expectations.

The scores were astronomously high for almost everyone, so I wasn't surprised about Alina's score.

Judges your job isn't too give everyone a SB but it's nice for the skaters. PCS were through the roof for most skaters and I even think Alina and Zhenya were almost treated a bit like normal if you look at what everyone else got. Not that I disagree with that, but what a scoring!

Alina nailed a wonderful SP! Well done! 👏👏👏

I am still not a fan of the choreography, too many music cuts, but she makes the best out of it. I love the musical POTO but not her weird cuts. She does not look as rushed in her program as in the beginning of the season. I hope Alina can keep it together in the FS as she had many good SPs this season but little good FS. And Alina looks fabulous here❤️!

Kaori my love you made it! ❤️❤️❤️

The best 3Loop of the whole field!!! ❤️❤️❤️ The flow and speed on ice is something that sets Kaori apart! She needed a bit time to find an interpretation that she is comfortable with, but now it is really great! I still think for her bright personality something more fresh would suit her better...but I like the program. A deserved 2nd place for a stunning performance! 👏👏👏👏

Elizabet Tursynbayeva in 3rd place comes as the biggest surprise for me. Well done for sure! 👍

I am quite neutral towards her. The program was flawless. The coaches change did wonders to her consistency, that's good for her. The points...well astronomous but as more scores like hers came...and getting a small medal is definitely an achievement! If she can nail the 4S in the FS and the PCS like in the SP she could even win this, who would have thought that??? 😱

Zhenya nailed her program and this was the most important thing here! 👍 Love her interpretation of Tosca! ❤️

I wasn't always a Medvedeva fan, but since she is showing more personality on ice I love her. She received an UR call and still scored very high, so I am no way complaining about her score. It's even a bit too high imo. (I even think it is quite funny she got an UR, because last year that would probably have been ignored) Sorry Zhenya, love you still. I think she deserves a good PCS score as her interpretation is beyond compare and this program suits her so well. 😍

Eunsoo Lim and Mariah both had stunning SP! ❤️❤️❤️

I love both their programs and I am very happy both nailed their content! Being in the last group is a wonderful achievement for them! 👏👏👏

Rika I am so sorry! 😭😭😭

I think she looked very nervous in the warm-up when they said her name. The pressure maybe was a bit too much. Being only 7th is a small disaster. Sure she rolled up the field from behind most of the time, but this time with a 12 point difference that is a bit much, unless Alina falters (which I hope does not happen) she probably can't win. And the 3A was so good in training and in warm-up. Hmmm...but it is her first Worlds and we shouldn't be too hard on her. She still did some wonderful elements and pushed through her program.

Satoko Miyahara...well I would like to say she was treated unfairly but I can't. She wasn't as light as usual in her interpretation. Her spins are definitely the best of the field and would deserve all +5 GOEs, but her jump GOEs were fair. UR was fair too...so the place may seem low but we have seen very good performances today that deservdly placed before her. PCS to be lower than Kaori's well ok she would probably deserve a bit more but as she wasn't as good as usual...

Sofia Samodurova was the usual Sofia we know from all the season. Very consistent, but not more or less than usual. Don't get me wrong, she is an awesome skater but you have skaters who jump higher and with more flow, hence more GOEs, her interpretation is lovely but she does not stand out with an own style, hence others get more PCS. And of course having the current Olympic champion and a former beloved World champion coming from the same country definetly plays a part as well.

I won't talk about everyone after that, I want just to name some performance that I enjoyed:

Nicole Schott may not have the most difficult jumps or best spins, but what an emotional performance and clean. I am very happy she made it to the 2nd group. Gut gemacht 👍❤️!!!

Hongyi Chen leaded long even after 3 groups. Her Notte Stellata program is well choreographed by Misha Ge. And though she may not be very expressive she was a lovely swan on the ice.

This was a very good SP in the ladies, especially the last two groups! Definitely worth a rewatch!

Word Count: 1k

A/N: So, there were a few places I got stuck so that’s why it took so long but, I hope it was worth the wait!

Summary: The reader, unlike all their other friends who have found their soul mates through different ways seeing color for the first time seeing their soulmate or having matching tattoos at birth, the reader has never shown any signs of any of these traits until she writes her homework on her wrist and gets a message back from all the way across the world.

You stared at your arm. Katherine wrote a lot in such a short amount of time.

“How did you do that?” You asked curiously.

“Practice. I’ve been studying Korean since high school. Sophomore year to be exact. We had a foreign exchange student and he was from South Korea.He moved back but, we keep in touch because he was my best friend.” Kathrine explained with a smile.

“Is that who you want to see on the trip?” You asked as Aza brought in blankets for the night.

Katherine nodded,”Yes. It’s 10 AM there now so he’ll talk to me soon.”

“What did you say to him?” You asked looking at your arm.

“Hello, this is Katherine, one of your soul mates best friends, I was wondering if you meant BTS Min Yoongi because if so for proof post the numbers she’s supposed to study on Twitter.” Katherine blatantly recited.

“Well, that was straightforward.” You frown.

“You don’t get answers beating around the bush.” Aza giggled and snuggled into her blankets.

She was right though. Sure enough about an hour later ‘93-95 97 101-107′ popped up on the BTS Twitter. You were excited and ecstatic to be able to see his face but, also scared because he was such a big deal. How would he react to the unimportant college student you?

Eventually, exams passed and winter break came. You and Yoongi talked every day which helped you improve your Korean. He never failed to hide compliments on his body so you could find them on your own. You were home for the break and your mom was the first person you told about Yoongi. She was, of course, happy and supportive. But, then you told your little brother.

“Jay... I found my soulmate.” You told them happily.

Jay looked up from the old laptop you given him when you graduated high school, “I swear if you say that food is your soulmate I will beat you a sock full of quarters.”

You stared at him mouth agape, “ You’re so violent! ”

“Blame it on the video games and pretend like it’s the reason we aren’t safe at school.” He nonchalantly responded.

“Jay! We’re getting off track-”

“Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You found your soul mate. But, does he have money?”

You gave him an exasperated whine, " Jay, come on. Can you take this seriously? For your favorite big sister?"

He looked at you as you mustered your serious face.

"Oh you're doing the face that you call serious but, all you do is pout until I bend to your will," Jay commented setting his laptop to the side.

"Are you bending to my will yet?" You asked him continuing the serious face.

"I suppose I am for my 'favorite big sister' I can." He shrugged but, gave you a big smile. "Tell me about him."

"His name is Min Yoongi and he's Korean-"

You were once again interrupted.

"North or South?"

"South of course?"

"Hey gotta ask these questions! See if I have to fight fate or destiny or whatever the hell it is that controls this soulmate stuff for screwing you over like that." He gave you a big smirk and you ruffled his hair.

" He's in a band called BTS. It's really South Korea but, they're slowly becoming international."

"So, he's a singer?"

"Well, he's a rapper."

"Say no more. You officially have the coolest soulmate in the family."

You stayed quiet for a minute before piping up," Wanna listen to some of his stuff?"

"Uh. Yeah. Gotta see if my sister's soulmate has rhymes."

You two sat in his bed as you explained all the stuff Katherine explained to you while showing him videos and songs on his laptop.

After an hour or two of sitting there. Your phone rang. This wasn't a normal call. You could tell by the ringtone. Yoongi was calling. You snatched your phone quickly and answered.

"You never answer my phone calls that fast!" Your brother pouted as you hushed him.

"Hey, beautiful. You're with your family, yes?" Yoongi asked.

It took you a minute to respond as you were translating it in your her head," I...uh. Yes! My younger boy sibling- Is that right?"

You heard him chuckle," You're close. Brother."

"Brother!" You repeated before continuing, "Is hanging out with me and I was just telling him about you and the rest of Bangtan. I showed him a few videos and he seems to uhh... Like you guys."

"Hold on-" You could hear shuffling from him getting up and then hearing heavy footsteps in which made you assume he was running.

You could hear chattering before Yoongi spoke," Okay. So, one at a time. Speak slowly she's still learning. Y/N said that she told her brother about us and he's seen our music. I get the first question. Babe, who is his favorite rapper?"

You looked at Jay," Who is your favorite rapper?"

"Rap Monster!" He exclaimed, " I just relate to him. "

" Jay said RM-" Before you could even finish your sentence you heard the boys get riled up.

"I am hurt! Am I at least his second favorite?" He asked so you asked the same.

"J-Hope is my second favorite. I think I might take up dance.." Jay answered and you relayed the message which caused another uproar before Jin interrupted.

"Wait. Wait. Who is his favorite vocalist?" Jin asked slowly just as Yoongi requested. In turn, you asked Jay.

"Hmmm. Most definitely V. His voice is just smooth like undisturbed snow." Jay admitted while you stared at him shaking your head.

"He said V but, I am not translating that last part." You giggled out.

You heard shuffling then, Yoongi's voice loud and clear, "Okay okay. We can integrate my girlfriend tomorrow about her brother but, I want some time to talk to her."

You took that as a cue to go to your old room waving your brother a temporary goodbye.

You went to your room and shut the door," Alright, ba-"

"Oh my goodness. I can't wait for you to come visit. That's what's been getting me through the past few days..." He sounded upset and it broke your heart. So, you started writing on your wrist.

"Hey babe. Look at your wrist and read it out uh loud?"

"Each day I get one step closer to you. Each day I smile because of you. 6 more weeks till I see you..." He read aloud.

You could not see the tears that were mixed with happiness and longing but, what he said warmed your heart.

"I love you so much, Y/N."
