Frnkiebby’s FellowWhore Appreciation Day(week) Installment Number Two:
Tumblr media
“Are you sure you’re still up for this Frankie?” you ask. Frank was barely recovered from his latest bout of bronchitis and you really wished he would take things easier and just fucking rest.
“For the millionth time. Yes.” he said, his tone edging on exasperation now “We’ve had these tickets for *months* and I’m so fucking sick and tired of rotting on the couch.”
Frank moved to walk around you, placing a hand on your hip as he squeezed past in the narrow hallway of the front door. You let out a heavy sigh and finally took a pair of shoes from the rack in front of you.
“Will you at least wear a mask? We’re gonna be around a lot of people and I really don’t want you catching another bug. Your immune system isn’t back to full strength yet.”
Hearing a thump come from Franks direction caused you to drop your remaining shoe and snap your eyes to him.
“Yes, mother.” he said petulantly, lifting his head back from where he had let it fall against the wall in frustration.
“Frank…I’m sorry, I just worry. You’ve been getting sick a lot more frequently lately…”
Frank looked down and away. He knew that. He knew he’s been sick more often than not this fall, and if he was being honest with both himself and you, he was also worried.
“I know baby,” he replied softly “I’ll wear a mask. I’ll be okay.”
He stood and walked the few steps over to take your face in his hands. Brushing his thumbs across your cheekbones, he leaned forward and pressed his lips against your forehead.
“Let’s get outta here and go see your freaky exhibit already, huh?”
“Yeah, Frank, sounds like a plan.”
_______________
Before you got out of your uber you nudged Franks arm and passed him the mask you had shoved in your pocket. With a soft smile thrown at you he held it against his nose and looped the elastics around his ears. After thanking the driver, you both exited the car and started up the crowded steps into the museum.
Frank had teased you mercilessly for wanting to go to the exhibit. Called it gruesome and you a weirdo as if he hadn’t immediately gone into his phone to purchase tickets.
Once inside with pamphlets in hand, Frank was so excited that he was damn near insufferable. Pulling you from one display to another, chattering endlessly about the creepy history of each piece. It was honestly both adorable and a relief that he had so much energy.
“Oh my god, look-look-look!”
When you looked over to him, smile already on your face, you absolutely lost it. The look on Frank’s face combined with the ridiculous pose he struck had you laughing at a volume that resulted in more than a few glares from the other patrons.
“You absolute dork, don’t you dare move a muscle.” You weren’t even sure if he understood you with how much you were laughing.
“Don’t move a muscle, huh?” he teased “Like this guy?”
When you finally got the camera open on your phone, you nearly dropped it. Frank had escalated his pose to an even higher level of ridiculousness. God you fucking loved him.
After snapping more photos than necessary, you turned to show them off to Frank. The two of you broke out into more laughter, gaining even more glares. The night had went better than you expected, even with Frank’s laughter devolving into silent wheezes as he bent over trying to get control of himself.
Even though he would be exhausted for the rest of the night and likely tomorrow, you were glad he held firm and insisted on the exhibit. Every now and then Frank has to be right about something, you figured.

Kissing On My Tattoos
warning: eehh, naur warning. Maybe just a sprinkle of a moan in there, but nothing harmful :)
Roman texting you while you're on a date has never been out of the ordinary. Especially if you had no interest in the guy.
A smile lit up Roman's face every time his phone buzzed, knowing it was a message from you, signaling that you weren't enjoying yourself.
Baby Girl💕: Can you come pick me up when he drops me off?
Biting his bottom lip, Roman typed the following words,
Sure thing baby girl. Just let me know when you get home.
His brown eyes brightened, he couldn't wait to see you. Just the thought of you made his heart race which he hated but loved at the same time. He just wanted to have fun. But you, oh, you yearned for something deeper, something more profound, especially with him.
When he confessed his attraction for you but made it clear he wasn't ready for anything serious, it broke you, leaving a bittersweet ache in your heart. Yet, you understood. Some people couldn't fathom the idea of commitment. And Roman, he was one of them.
He did put an offer on the table though, he put forth the idea of ya'll becoming friends with benefits. No strings attached whatsoever.
You were very hesitant and you thought about the offer for at least 2 weeks. You were putting your feelings on the line and knew it wasn't worth it but you really wanted to be with him. And if that was the only way you could have him, then so be it.
It's been 3 months since you've agreed and to be honest, you have enjoyed it. Besides the fact that Roman always.. and I mean always flirted with other girls in front of you. But hey, that's what you signed up for.
Before you knew it, you were dipping your toes into the waters of other men's attention. After all, if Roman was playing the field, why shouldn't you? The plan was simple: keep him around until someone else came along who truly made you feel the way he did.
Roman had picked up on it. Your absence hadn't gone unnoticed, not with you off on dates with other guys. And weirdly enough, he was feeling... jealous? Roman had never really been the green-eyed type, but lately, something was stirring inside him. He knew he shouldn't be, given he'd been messing around with other girls while fooling around with you. But still, that twinge of envy lingered.
He wanted you all to himself, plain and simple. Yeah, he knew it was selfish and unfair, but that's just how he felt, and nothing could shake that.
Lately, he'd been keeping his distance from the other girls he'd been seeing. It was like he was slowly cutting ties with them, realizing that his heart belonged to you and you alone.
Slipping into a black tee and his favorite Nike sandals, Roman checked his phone after getting a text from you.
Your date didn't go as planned, and now all you wanted was for Roman to bring back that smile to your face.
___
"Thanks for picking me up Ro, tonight was horrible.."
You collapsed onto his bed, sprawling out on your stomach. His scent enveloped you, his cologne mingling with the familiar smell of his sheets. You melted into the mattress, feeling completely at ease. Your muscles relaxed, and so did your mind. It was pure bliss.
He settled on the edge of the bed near your feet, releasing a heavy sigh.
"No problem, baby."
Internally, you melted. When he called you baby, it sent shivers down your spine, but you quickly reminded yourself that you probably weren't the only one he called that.
Before long, he was stretched out beside you, shirtless now. He propped his hands behind his head, gazing up at the ceiling. His mind seemed to be wandering, lost in a swirl of thoughts.
He couldn't bear the thought of anyone else having you, touching you, holding you, kissing you...None of it. The idea alone made him want to scream in frustration.
You noticed the look on his face.
"What's wrong?"
You hopped onto his lap, settling with your legs on either side, facing him.
"Nothing..."
"Don't lie to me."
He grinned and his hands found their way to your thighs. Instantly, your skin prickled with goosebumps, a familiar sensation whenever he touched you. Your body responded in ways that defied explanation or words.
He licked his lips, nearly making you squeal with anticipation.
"It's...just that I don't like seeing you with other men. It drives me absolutely in-fucking-sane," he expressed sternly. You could tell by the look of his face, he was serious. In fact, it almost felt like you were in trouble just from the way he looked at you.
Holding back a smirk you said,
"Well, I don't like seeing you with other women, but you're the one who came up with this Friend With Benefits crap,"
"I know, I know.." he sighed, running a hand over his bearded face.
"So, what are we going to do?" you asked. You honestly enjoyed this. He was finally giving in to his feelings.
His hands lazily trailed up and down your silky skin, relishing in the way you responded to his touch, your breath catching in your throat.
"We're going to be together because the thought of you being with someone else is eating me up on the inside,"
You awed him, grasping his hands in your own and placing them above his head. Leaning forward, you captured his lips with yours. The kiss was laced with a passion you've never felt before. You both took your time exploring each other's mouths, tongues fighting for dominance before he finally won.
As Roman's tongue teased a sensitive spot in your mouth, you couldn't help but let out a soft moan, feeling a warmth pooling between your thighs.
Planting kisses along his shoulder, you traced the inked patterns on his skin, marveling at the details they whispered about his culture, his life.
When you found that sweet spot, he groaned, his grip on your hand tightening as you continued to hold them above his head.
"Baby.." he whispered breathlessly as you sucked on his sweet spot. You showed no mercy, nibbling and sucking until he was putty in your hands. Every stroke of your tongue against his inked skin sent shivers coursing through his body.
"Now, we aren't going to be together just because you say so. I really want you to drop those women, all of them. Prove to me that you want me and only me.." you murmured against his neck before sitting up, meeting his gaze head-on.
Roman pressed his lips into a thin line, eyes squinting slightly.
"Okay...I will."
Lightly slapping his chest, you glared.
"I'm serious, Roman. You're playing games and I'm not down with that anymore. I'm through being fuck buddies. Either you give me all of you or nothing at all."
Roman sat up, encircling his arms around your waist, pulling you close. He rested his forehead against yours, his desire burning beyond the physical; he wanted to claim you as his own. You were the only one who stirred these feelings within him, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing you just to play the field.
He was a fool for your pretty eyes and that smile. How'd he expect himself not to fall?
"I'm not lying, baby. I promise, I will drop them all for you."
He brushed his fingertips along the curve of your cheek, his minty breath teasing your lips as he inched closer.
"I don't have to worry about another woman's lips on your body?" you questioned, a hint of uncertainty in your eyes.
He tenderly kissed your lips, catching you off guard for a fleeting moment.
"Nope. I don't want nobody but you kissin' on my tattoos, baby girl.." he whispered, then leaned in to place a kiss on your temple.

1k celly masterlist main masterlist nhl masterlist
There were a lot of upsides that came with being the oldest sibling, there were of course a lot of downsides too . . . but you chose to ignore those and focus on the upsides. Like being able to stay up later while your brothers had to go to sleep, having a good sense of leadership and responsibility, being able to read your brothers like a picture book.
So, you knew right away that something was wrong with your youngest brother as you watched him play in the last period. You could see it clearly in his demeanor and the way he was skating, he was starting to overthink things, he had gotten into his own head. You of course had seen the way the public and media was shitting on your brother because he's made a few bad plays, and it broke your heart to see how defeated he looked sitting on that bench.
Jack had voiced his worries about Luke to you over the phone a few days ago when you were out with Quinn and your boyfriend brock. Even with hundreds of miles between you and Luke you could tell something was bothering him, that's why your planned trip to visit your younger brothers this weekend was even more meaningful.
You were leaning against the wall as you waited for your brothers to leave the locker room, your focus was down on your phone as you texted your boyfriend. A smile on your lips, you missed him dearly even though you have only been gone for almost two days. “Sis!” you heard the familiar sound of jack's voice call your name. You look up from your phone and smile as Jack rushes over to you and pulls you into a tight hug.
“You played so well jack” You mumbled into his neck, cursing at the curse of being the oldest but the shortest. Jack smiles and gives you one more squeeze before letting go and taking a step back, even though they lost he wasn't going to let that bring him down from the fact that you watched him play in person for the first time in a few months.
“Thank you, luke should be out soon, he's just being a little hard on himself” Jack sighed as he glanced back at the locker room entrance, there was only so much he could say to let luke know that he's doing okay. You let out a sigh and nodded, already getting an image of a pouty luke. Your eyes lit up with an idea, as a memory from years ago popped up in your mind. You smile at Jack as you ask “Do you think you can get a ride home? And can I have the keys to your truck?”
“Uh yeah why?” Jack questioned with a raised brow as he pulled out his keys from his front pocket and handed them to you. You smiled gratefully and grabbed the keys and slid them into your front pocket with your lip gloss. “I have an idea on how to cheer luke up.”
“Well good luck, cause I can't handle a grumpy luke anymore '' Jack jokes as he pats you on the shoulder, happy that you were now here to save him from the grumpy luke. You roll your eyes and cross your arms over your chest as you look at jack “I remember saying the same thing about you.”
“Have fun! I'm gonna go catch up with nico "Jack grins as he chooses to ignore your words, placing a quick kiss to your forehead before rushing off down the hallway, turning to look at you quickly and shouting out an ‘i love you’ before turning the corner and leaving your sight. You look forward just in time to see Luke walk out of the locker room, well more like trudge. His steps were heavy, and you can see the exhaustion on his face. His shoulders were sagged as he carried his backpack, he was changed out of his suit and into some sweats and a hoodie. He looked like a sad cat. When Luke noticed you, his heavy steps turned into long strides as he moved towards you.
Before you could open your mouth to greet your brother, he was throwing his arms over shoulders and nestling his head in the crook of your head, for a much-needed hug. Your eyes widened at how tight Luke was holding you, but you close your eyes and wrap your arms around your little brother, softly rubbing his back with one of your hands. Luke closed his eyes and tried to shut off his mind as he felt himself melt into the comfort and safety of your arms.
You rested your chin on his shoulder as you whispered, “You, okay?” you felt him nod yes but the both of you knew he was lying. Luke let out a deep breath and reluctantly pulled away from the hug when his back was starting to hurt from leaning down for so long. You smiled up at him, brushing some of his curls out of his face as he asked, “Where's jack?”
“Oh, he's getting a ride home with nico, so come on lukey I'm taking you out tonight!” You excitedly pull-out Jack's keys and wave them while your other hand is grabbing Luke's arm and dragging him along you as you make your way down the hallway. Luke gave you an unimpressed look even though on the inside he was excited to spend more time with you “I’m not old enough to go bar hopping.”
“Is that really all you think I do in Vancouver?” You gasped dramatically as you pretended to be hurt from his words. You have one embarrassing experience when you go bar hopping, and now that's all anyone remembers, you think with a roll of your eyes. Luke felt the corner of his lips lift into a smile at your dramatics, Jack definitely got that from you.
“Besides I'm a good big sister, I wouldn't provide my underage brother with alcohol, at least in public” you joked as you wrapped your arm around Luke's, holding on tight. Luke chuckles and slips his hand into the front pocket of his hoodie, comforting silence coming across them as they make their way to Jack's truck.
“Need help? '' Luke asked sarcastically as he put on his seatbelt, his eyes on you as you struggled slightly to get into the truck. You gave him a quick glare before closing the door and putting on your seatbelt, quickly starting the truck, wanting to leave the arena before the traffic got even worse. You turned up the volume on the radio, an unfamiliar country song filling up the silent car. Luke let out a heavy sigh and relaxed into the seat, looking out the window and all the passing lights.
The car ride to your choice of destination was filled with mostly silence between you and Luke, just enjoying the music and the faint sound of the world around them. You could see that Luke had a lot on his mind and you didn't want to pressure him into talking about it, so you stayed quiet, knowing that he would tell you when he's ready. Luke couldn't help but replay every single one of his mistakes he's made in the past few games, remembering every tweet he saw from disappointed ‘fans’.
Luke could feel himself become more upset and discouraged the more he thought about it, so Luke quickly glanced at you before looking back out the window. Luke was slightly confused on how well you knew your way around the town, he was curious on where you were taking him. But he gave up on asking after the third time you told him it was a surprise.
Luke’s eyes widen with excitement when he sees where you're pulling into, it was an old ice cream shop that he had driven by many times, but never had the chance to try it. You smiled and turned off the car and grabbed your wallet from your purse and gave Luke a big smile “Come on, I'll even let you get 3 scoops!”
You laugh as you watch Luke quickly leave the truck and rush around the front of the truck to open your door. You giggle and take Luke's hand that he held out for you, doing your best to do a posh British accent “Thank you kind sir” Luke smiles and closes the door for you, following you across the parking lot, his spirit was lifted already.
Tumblr media
“This is so good; how did you find this place?” Luke asked you before he took another lick of his chocolate ice cream, of course having a waffle cone. And despite you saying he could get 3 scoops, he only got 2. You look away from your bowl of your favorite ice cream and to your brothers whose focus was up at the stars. The two of you were sitting on the tailgate of the truck, neither of you realizing that your legs were swinging in unison.
“Oh, I found it the last time I came to visit, and you and Jack were at practice, I've been craving it since” you answered him as you looked back on the day. Luke nods and continues to eat his ice cream. Silence came across the two of you again, Luke didn't know what to say and you could see the way his shoulders became tense that he was thinking of something. You had a pretty good idea what he was thinking about, hockey.
“You played really good tonight luke” you broke the silence, and you watched as his shoulders sagged and a frown came across his lips as he looked down at his lap. You hated seeing how discouraged he looked, this wasn't like luke. He never let it get to him like this before, but it's different . . . it's the NHL, it's his dream. He whispered bitterly “We lost.”
“You still played really good, i'm really proud of you luke” you vowed as you gently nudged his knee with yours, your tone proving how genuine you were. You were a good big sister you liked to think, so you would never have a favorite brother . . . but your little brother Luke will always have a special place in your heart. The little brother who would listen to you rant all about your school drama while the other two were doing God knows what, the little brother who fully trusted you to drive him to get ice cream when you first got your license while Quinn and jack swore you would kill them. Your sweet little brother Luke who was far too good for this world.
Luke let out a heavy breath and his eyes started to water as he listened to you, he heard others say they were proud of him, but it was different, more meaningful coming from you. Unlike you he made it very clear that you're his favorite sibling, that you always have been. The big sister that he always knew would have his back no matter what, the big sister that always was on his side. He looked up from his lap and turned his head to look at you to see you were already smiling at him. “Thank you sissy.”
“Not just for the compliment” Luke quickly spoke before you could, fully turning his body to face you, thankfully he had eaten most of his ice cream, so he didn't have to worry about it dripping. Luke never really liked talking about his emotions or just having deep conversations in general, but he didn't have to worry about any of that with his big sister who always made it clear that he could talk to you no matter what. Luke continues speaking “But for taking me here and for being here for me, for always being here for me.”
“I'll always be here lukey” You promised as you set your ice cream bowl next to you before leaning over and pulling Luke into a much-needed hug. Luke smiles and closes his eyes, hugging you with one arm while the other holds his cone away from you, not wanting to get any ice cream on you. Luke lets himself melt into the hug; he really didn't want you to leave. You couldn't help tearing up as you think of Luke and everything he's been through and how strong he is, you really are so proud of your little . . . well not so little brother. You sniffled and whispered, “God why did you have to grow up so fast.”
“Trying to catch up with you, you old lady” Luke jokes, wanting to lift the mood, he really hated seeing you cry, and he knew you so well that he was sure you were going to.  A loud laugh leaves his lips as you pull away from the hug and dramatically move away from him. Despite his words you smiled as you listened to luke laugh, it was the type of laugh that made you want to join in. You pulled the keys out of your pocket and slap them into luke's hand before jumping off the tailgate of the truck and snatching your ice cream “That's it your driving home.”
Luke continued to laugh and watch as you stomp over to the passenger seat, the famous Hughes pout on your lips. Luke quickly gets off the bed of the truck and puts up the tailgate shouting a cheeky remark that only made him laugh harder at the quick glare you sent him.
“Thank God! Brock drives you around so much I'm pretty sure you forgot how to drive”

pancakes for two
Tumblr media
summary - seeing your niece for the first time
word count - ~1k
pairing - husband!harry x reader
You made pancakes for breakfast on a Saturday.
It was a routine at this point and would be rude not to have pancakes after your morning jog with Harry.
Harry tended to make himself banana pancakes, because he hated not having some fruit in there somehow, but you were all for the nutella and other loaded toppings.
You had both just finished your pancakes, dirty plates on the coffee table in front of you and cups of tea to hand as you watched ‘This Morning’ on ITV.
Even after having been on a run and eaten pancakes, your day was about to get so much better.
“Remind me that I need to pick up more loo roll the next time I go to the shops.” You said to Harry.
“Thought we bought loads?”
His free hand rested on your ankle from where your legs were stretched out on his lap.
“Yeah, but we gave a lot to Gem remember?”
“Oh shit, yes. We can go later if you want? I’ll take you?” He offered.
“The last thing I want to do is leave the house on the one day where you’re not busy preparing for baby number 4.” You laughed, taking a sip of your Yorkshire Gold tea.
“Baby number 4?” It was Harry’s turn to chuckle.
“Album? Baby? Same thing. They’re all your children.”
He tapped your ankle playfully.
Harry had been working so hard on planning for the next phase of his career and you were so happy to see him get excited and creative again.
Music is where he thrived and it was a joy to watch him work. However it did mean he was gone more than you wanted him to be, so quiet weekends like this were absolutely necessary.
Harry missed you just as much and he was constantly lucky that it was you waiting for him at home.
He’d been working so hard that he hadn’t even had a moment to see his sister since she gave birth.
It was only a week ago, but Gemma was still recovering and requested that the three of them just had some quiet time to let the new reality to settle in.
Now, Harry was restless to see his niece.
You scrolled through your phone when it suddenly made a Ring doorbell noise.
“Yes! I bet that’s my Waterstones parcel.” You said excitedly, sitting up and setting your tea on the coffee table.
“Another one?”
You hit Harry’s thigh playfully, “Shut up!” Although he did have a valid point.
You waited for the doorbell to ring, before jumping up and making your way to the front. You made a note to shout at Harry for - yet again - leaving his coat on the banister and not put back on coat rack.
You unlocked and opened the door, expecting the delivery guy but were met with Gemma, Michal and baby instead.
“Oh my God!” You shouted, cupping your hands over your mouth in shock.
“Surprise!” Gemma laughed, baby carrier on Michal’s arm and baby bags too.
You started tearing up then, emotional over how beautiful Gemma was after recently giving birth. She was glowing and looked incredible. They both looked so happy too.
“Y/N/N?” Harry called your nickname.
He rounded the corner only to stop short.
“Look who showed up.” You allowed the tears to drop down your face.
“Hey, bro.” Gemma smiled.
“Hi, H!” Michal smiled at Gemma’s smile.
Harry, ever the emotional man, broke down in little sobs then. He pouted when he cried and probably had the same thoughts as you initially did.
“Come in. Come on.” You ushered them in.
You gave Gemma a big hug first, squeezing her but not too tight, and kissed her cheeks.
Then you hugged Michal, careful to avoid all his extra baggage.
“How are you?” You asked Michal, as Gemma went over to speak and probably console Harry.
“Tired, but never been happier.” He genuinely smiled.
“Can I take anything from you?”
“No, I’m just going to dump them here if that’s okay?” He motioned to the space in the hall.
“Of course, go ahead.”
“You want a tea? Coffee?” You offered.
“Coffee, please. No sugar. Gem will probably just have water.”
You nodded and walked through the hallway and into the kitchen. Gemma and Harry were still hugging, softly talking to one another. You left them to it, not wanting to disrupt the siblings reunion.
You wiped your own tears with your sweater, before pottering around the kitchen.
“So let me see my niece then!” You demanded as Michal placed the carrier on the kitchen island.
He opened the visor and you had to choke back a sob as you saw how small your new niece was - your new best friend.
“Oh my God.” You whispered.
“I know. I keep having the same reaction, even now.” Michal chuckled.
Gemma and Harry walked in a few seconds later - Harry with red eyes and Gemma smiling like a madwoman.
You leaned forwards and brushed your finger over your nieces tiny bunched fist. Her skin was so soft and she didn’t budge at all with the tap from you.
“She’s beautiful, guys.” You whispered.
“She really is.” Gemma agreed.
“She’s a Styles if I ever saw one. No offence Michal.”
“None taken.” Michal genuinely didn’t seem offended.
You stepped back to let Harry have a gaze over his new niece, wrapped in her blankets and knitted bonnets. There were so many blankets you wondered whether she was cooking underneath them all!
It wasn’t your turn to know anything about kids or parenting though, yet, so you weren’t going to question anything.
Harry approached his niece and softly caressed over her small hand and over her quite chubby cheeks.
You cupped a hand over your mouth as you teared up from watching Harry interact with a baby.
“It’s too much!” You cried, laughing like an idiot.
Gemma and Michal watched you with soft expressions.
Harry moved towards you then, “Hey. What’s up?” He asked, pulling you in for a big hug. The best hugs.
“I think i’ve got a heavy case of baby fever right now.”
Harry pulled you away a bit to read your face, “You do?”
“Mhm.”
“Okay.” He smiled.
“Okay, what?” You stepped back.
“Let’s try. For a baby, I mean.”
“Really?” You eyes filled with tears. “You mean it?”
“A baby with you? It would make all those birthday and shooting star wishes come true.”

Roommate or boss?
Pairing: f!reader x Katsuki Bakugou.
Warnings: a lot of yapping. Male masturbation. A bit of violence from Katsuki’s part when a guy tries getting in your pants.
Word count: this part is 2.4k, added to the others (part 1, part 2, part 3) it’s 8.9k.
Next part: part 5
Tumblr media
"It's too hot" you mewl while lying on your couch. “Step back, it’s my turn to be in front of the fan” you add, getting up and walking towards Katsuki.
“Fuck no, it’s been 3 minutes since you had a go at it. Go back to the hell hole you came from, pest” your roommate answers while throwing daggers at you.
You poke your finger in his exposed bicep. He doesn’t budge. Damn, this man is hard as a rock.
“Come onnnnn! This is the time when you should be a gentleman and let me cool down my beautiful face. Do you really want to be such a brute, Mr. Bakugou?” you bat your eyelashes seductively, trying to convince him.
Bakugou stares at you like your face is green and you’re a slimy frog that just came out of a pile of mud.
“I don’t fucking care. You’re a big girl and I ain’t no prince charming. Step the fuck back or I’m throwing you on that damn sofa. Wait your shitty turn” he says, flicking your forehead.
You whine some more, whisper “bitch” (it gets you another flick) and then turn back to lay on the floor. It’s colder than the couch, at least.
It’s summer, there’s 41°C outside, and your AC broke the other day. It’s so hot that you take out the ice from the freezer and it melts in 4 minutes (max). You happened to have one old crusty fan, that you and Bakugou take turns using. You have been surviving on iced coffee and iced lemonades. You feel like you’re slowly dying.
“You know, this is the only time I really wish my boss would call me in early. He might be a ghost, but he sure uses money for the AC” you blabber while staring at the ceiling, contemplating booking a trip to Alaska.
“What do you mean a ghost?” the blond asks. He’s been much more talkative in the last few months, maybe because seeing you being so domestic was doing something to him. In the last few days he really wants to be your friend, but not because he’s suddenly nice: he thinks he could bribe you to gift him the fan if he’s kinder and breaks your defenses. He’s even planning on asking you to go to a cafe nearby and offer you one of those sweet fuzzy iced drinks you like so much. He’s scheming.
“A ghost because I’ve never seen his face. Can you believe that? My colleague says he’s an asshole though, so maybe that’s for the better” you answer. You get on your elbows to see him better, then squint and frown, “I feel like you could be my boss, you know. Seeing as you’re an asshole too, making me die here on the floor like a common drug addict”.
Yeah, screw the fan. He was asking you out to kill you.
“I hope he fires you”.
“Fuck you”.
“Likewise”.
You throw yourself back on the floor. The movement makes your boobs giggle, and he catches himself staring at your white tank top. You didn’t wear a bra since it’s indeed still your house and it’s indeed still hot as hell.
Things have been going so much better between you two. You now bicker like you’re siblings, but you do also take walks together sometimes, mainly to get groceries, and talk about stuff. You even convinced him to watch Keeping up with the Kardashians with you, and even if he doesn’t want to admit it, he likes the drama more than you.
At work you have a new manager and she’s super nice. Her name is Mina, and you found out that she and Kirishima are engaged, even if they’re 22 like you. She’s a great worker, and you’ve gone out for drinks a couple of times with her and Momo. She’s been at the cafe for 2 months, but you feel so much better already. She throws you weird looks sometimes, like she knows something you don’t, but you pay it no mind.
The timer on your phone rings, and you jump up before throwing your whole body on Katsuki’s. He’s distracted and you get him off guard, managing to move him away. He notices your tits touching his arm.
“Hah! My turn!” you say triumphantly, positioning yourself in front of the fan. The cold air makes your nipples harden. He seems to not be able to look away.
“Awh, Katsuki, cat got your tongue? Don’t worry, baby, the floor is not that bad” you snicker.
He snaps out of his trance and looks at your smirk. Baby? Did you just call him baby?
Fuck, what is he doing? The heat is getting to him. He hastily turns around and starts walking.
“Fuck off, I’m getting in the shower. You can have your fucking fan until I get out” he grunts while almost running away. He needs to have a cold shower.
“We’ll see!” you smile devilishly at him, not having noticed how he’s furiously blushing while slamming the bathroom door.
Katsuki puts his back on the door and slides to the floor. He rubs his face before staring at the obvious tent his semi is causing in his shorts.
Have you always been so hot?
He gets out of his clothes and jumps in the shower, hoping this feeling will go away once the scorching temperature of his skin gets back to normal. But after a few minutes the icy water does nothing to quell his desire, his fully standing cock a statement to that.
He curses under his breath, then wraps one of his hands on his shaft. He feels so dirty doing this, and the fact you’re one door away makes him feel even more embarrassed.
“Let’s get this fucking over with, fuck” he says to himself, pumping his member slowly.
He imagines the way your hand would feel instead of his, or your big eyes staring up at him like you did before, just that in this case you were forcing yourself not to cry while choking on his cock. His hand would be in your hair instead of on his dick, pushing your mouth snugly against his pubes. Your mouth would be hotter than the sun outside and he'd give you a reason to sweat. If you pleaded hard enough he'd fuck you too. He’d really throw you on the sofa, ripping your damn white top and sucking on your nipples. Fuck, what if you pierced them? Your tits would look so good covered in his-
He cums, grunting. "Fuck, this is the most embarrassing shit I've ever had to do to cum" he adds, whispering to himself.
He makes sure to scrub the shower wall clean before putting on the pair of grey short sweatpants he was wearing before. He decides on not to put his black compression tee on, since it’s drenched in sweat.
He exits the bathroom and finds you lying on the couch with the fan blowing directly on your face. Your eyes are closed, and the peaceful expression you're wearing makes his dick throb again.
"Oi, wanna go out? We're short on ice" he finds himself saying.
You open one eye, but when you realize he's half naked you hastily close it and throw him the pillow you were resting your head on.
"When has this become a whore house?" you scream.
He rolls his eyes. "You're such a prude. It's not like you've never seen a man naked" he scoffs, while throwing the pillow back at you.
You open your eyes again and glare at him. You know you must be as red as a tomato.
He looks so good with his hair still dripping wet. You've known that he works out, but now that you see his torso this close and with so little covering his whole body, you find yourself feeling shy. There's a particular drop of water that cascades just in the middle of his pecs, and you follow it with your eyes until it reaches his belly button.
"Earth to y/n. I know I'm hot, but stop ogling and answer my fucking question" your roommate says smirking, snapping his fingers in front of your face.
You throw the same pillow you threw before right on his smiling face. "I'm coming if you're not gonna be naked!" you say, hastily going towards your room.
"But wouldn't you like it, baby?" he mocks the tone you've used with him just 30 minutes ago.
"Fuck you. I'll be there in 10" you respond, slamming your bedroom door, feeling hot and bothered.
It must be the summer.
Tumblr media
You and Katsuki go to a store nearby to get ice.
“When is the landlord gonna repair the AC?” you ask, since he was the one to make the call.
“He said he’ll come next week, probably even the next one. Said he’s on vacay or some shit” he grunts from next to you.
“I can’t survive 2 weeks like this” you whine. “Oh, you know those noodles you did the other day? The spicy ones? Want to make them for dinner today?” you change the topic, looking up at him.
He spares you a glance before smirking and saying “you just said you’re dying, you sure you wanna eat spicy things?”.
“It doesn’t matter, that’s not the question” you say, pouting.
He smirks again. “Sure. Go and take the noodles, I’ll get the vegetables. Call me when you’re finished if you can’t come back here, I know you get lost like a dumbass”.
You slap his arm. “I do not! This place is just big, asshole”. Then you turn around and march straight towards… the wrong aisle. Katsuki shakes his head. You’ll find a way. You always do, somehow.
After 10 minutes you’re still not back and you still haven’t called, so he sighs and gets his phone out.
He missed your texts from 3 minutes ago.
Y/N: Help
Y/N: I feel like a guy is following me
Y/N: I’m next to some spicy sauces, I guess
Y/N: Mom come pick me up, I’m scared
He raises an eyebrow. You’re usually too prideful to text him when you don’t find the ingredients he tells you to search for, so this situation is weird. He tries to remember where the spicy sauces are, and goes for that aisle.
Meanwhile, you were right and a creepy guy was indeed following you. He’s slim, not that tall and looks like a predator. For the past couple of minutes he’s obviously been trying to get in your pants, and you don’t know how to remove yourself from the situation.
“Come on, just give me your number. You got a boyfriend? Is this why you’re being so… spicy?” he says with a low tone of voice, walking towards you and effectively blocking you from the eyes of the people who are walking down your aisle. From outside, he just seems like he’s talking to you.
“I said I’m not interested” you repeat for what feels like the 10th time. Then you decide to lie: “and yes, I do have a boyfriend. He gets crazy when he’s jealous, I wouldn’t want to anger him if I were you”. You hope you sound confident enough.
“Awh he doesn’t have to now, baby girl. It can be our dirty little secret… I love spicy little things like you” he says seductively, touching your arm and licking his lips.
You’re just about to raise your elbow high enough to break his nose when you feel a familiar voice behind you.
“Step the fuck back before I break your fucking hand” Katsuki says to the man in front of you.
You snap your gaze to his eyes, but he’s looking at the guy with a murderous intent.
The slimy guy in front of you doesn’t let go, in fact he just strengthens the hold he has on your arm and you wince. Katsuki notices this.
The guy is definitely intimidated, but still manages to say “mind your business bro, we’re together, this is my bitch-“. But before he can finish the sentence he finds himself crashing on the sauces of the aisle.
“I said step the fuck back. I don’t like to repeat myself. Don’t ever call my girlfriend your bitch again, or next time I’m breaking your damn nose“ your roommate says while putting a hand on your small back.
He then looks down at you, and while he’s looking deep into your eyes, tells you “you good, baby?”.
You nod. You feel your knees shaking, but not because of the guy who’s currently on the floor.
Which, by the way, is now scoffing and declaring “oh so this is your crazy boyfriend? Nobody likes good guys anymore, huh”. He then stands up, adding “you were never pretty enough for me, anyway”.
Katsuki looks at him and suddenly he laughs. “You’re a pathetic ass bitch if you really believe someone like you could ever be near someone like her. You’re not a good guy, you’re an awful piece of shit who only tries to get his dick wet by forcing girls to have sex with him, and you’re obviously failing at that too. Go back to your room and rub one out on some shitty porn like you always do, fucker” he spits out. “You have 5 seconds to get out of my fucking face”.
The asshole thinks he’s joking, so he doesn’t move from his spot, but Katsuki is obviously not playing. He looks super scary, and he’s towering over the pathetic boy.
Katsuki is losing his patience. “5, 4, 3…”.
The guy gets that he’s serious and flees the scene, running with his tail between his legs.
Your roommate takes a big breath before mumbling “I hate people”. You snicker, before looking up at him. “Thank you, you know” you say smiling.
Your gratefulness blinds him, or maybe it’s just that you’re that pretty.
“You’re welcome”.
He doesn’t remove his hand from your back for the rest of your walk, and it feels so natural to be so close to him that you don’t say anything.
A/N: If you want to be put in the taglist make sure your age is visible on your blog first, and then tell me so in the comments <3

Eddie Munson. Love. Established relationship
𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
“I cannot believe them.” Steve huffed out, hands resting on his hips as his foot tapped against the asphalt outside of the police station.
“You already said that,” Jonathan blanched, leaning back against the hood of his car while Argyle closely examined his own hands for whatever reason.
“Well, I can’t!” He snapped again and Eddie smirked, thoroughly amused with the situation. And worried.
He was also very worried.
Half an hour ago, he’d been in the trailer, eating mac and cheese straight from the pot when the phone rang.
It was Hopper. Specifically, Chief Hopper. As in, on duty, Chief Hopper. Eddie had immediately jumped into a monologue about how he hadn’t done anything and even if he did, Hopper had no proof of it but Hopper wasn’t calling to tell Eddie he had six cop cars in route.
He was calling to tell Eddie to come pick up his girlfriend, who had gotten into a bar brawl.
He’d raced the fuck over and was surprised to see the other guys pull up as well, though he probably shouldn’t have given the fact you’d gone out with Robin, Nancy and Eden.
What the fuck kind of trouble could that roster have gotten into???
Enough to warrant being taken to the police station.
Hopper had informed him you’d all be getting warnings, leeway you all got most definitely just because he was now Jonathan’s stepdad.
“It can’t have been that bad,” Eddie rolled his eyes when Steve froze in his irritable mom-pose and slowly turned to face him.
“Can’t have been that bad—WE’RE AT THE POLICE STATION!”
“Would you rather it be a courtroom?” Eddie asked, cocking an eyebrow. He pitied Buckley for the scolding she’d no doubt get from Steve on their drive home.
“I’d rather not have to pick her up from anywhere other than her house or work!”
“Calm down, Mother Hen. It was probably nothing,”
It was definitely something.
The doors to the station opened, Nancy was the first out with Robin trailing her, you following Robin and Eden on your heels.
You all looked like you had definitely been involved in a fight, clothes rumpled and torn, hair a mess and Nancy sported a bloody lower lip. She started crying the moment she was in Jonathan’s arms, but he didn’t think it was because of her lip or even the fight, Nancy was just a very emotional drunk and her staggering was an obvious sign of intoxication.
You skipped right over to him and Eddie knew you were drunk, too.
“Hi, baby! I missed ya!” You sang as you slipped your arms around his waist to press yourself up against him for a hug, side of your face resting against his chest.
“You okay, sweetheart?” Eddie grabbed you by the shoulders, gently trying to pry you away from him so he could look you over for injuries but you refused to release your hold. The most he could do was get you to crane back a little so you could look at him.
“Neva’ betta’. Why?” You asked, cocking your head and beaming up at him.
Eddie’s face broke out into a grin.
“Because a little birdy told me you were in a scrap.”
You were about to reply before the sound of Steve and Robin arguing with each other distracted you and you turned your head to watch them.
Eddie had to physically turn it back, and he was laughing as he did.
“C’mon, buttercup, I need you to stay with me, yeah?”
He held your chin between his thumb and forefinger, dipping his head to the side to catch your stare and you went back to beaming at him, eyes crinkled.
“I’ll stay with you forever.”
Fuck, you were so cute.
“That’s not really what I meant, baby, but I had no plans on letting you go. What happened tonight?”
You scoffed, arms dropping to your sides as you took a couple of steps back and glared at nothing.
“You wouldn’t freakin’ believe it, babe! Me and my girls,” You gestured to Nancy who was being coddled by Jonathan, Robin who was now scolding Steve, and Eden who was high-fiving Argyle, “were out having fun, getting sloshed—I had so many midori sours, baby, so many and my throw up is gonna be green—when alluvasudden Carol fuckin’ Perkins and her group of raggedy bitches comes up to us.”
Eddie’s eyebrows shot up. He knew just how much you despised Carol. You two hadn’t been exactly friendly back in high school.
“And I’m like ‘oh wow, Carol, I was actually hoping to never fucking see you again.’ But she wasn’t there for me, babe. She was there ‘cause of Robin.” You leaned in to whisper the last sentence to him.
“I din’t even fuckin’ know it—but I should’ve ‘cause like the resemblance is there, isn’t it? Like they look kind of like each other, you know?”
“No, baby. I have no idea what you’re talking about.” But Eddie was thoroughly invested in the drama, shifting his position to lean up against the van.
“Oh, yeah!” You laughed, amused that you knew and he didn’t. “Carol is Vickie’s cousin.”
Eddie’s eyes widened comically, sending you into a fit of giggles.
Vickie was Robin’s ex….something. Towards the end of senior year, Vickie had broken up with her long time boyfriend. On the rebound, looking for some attention to prove she was still wanted as most do after a breakup, she’d entertained Robin’s infatuation with her.
They were always together, never affectionate in public, for obvious reasons, though Robin implied they were something. Then, it stopped. Vickie and her boyfriend got back together and she never even gave Robin proper closure, just stopped talking to her, stopped taking her phone calls and obviously avoided her.
It had been an unfortunate situation, the entire group pulled together to cheer Robin up but she got over it, met another girl, and they were an official couple. Girlfriend and girlfriend. She was away for a family thing and Robin couldn’t get the time off, which is why the girls had all gone out for a night to distract her.
“Carol is Vickie’s cousin!?” He whispered back in disbelief, hand flying over his mouth.
“Yeah!”
“So where does the fighting come in—is that blood?!” Eddie nearly had a heart attack as he noticed the red splatter on the front of your shirt. He hadn’t seen it earlier because you’d been glued to him.
You glanced down, taking the hem of your shirt in your hands to flare it out so you could see it better, “Oh, yeah! ‘S not mine, though. ‘S Carol’s. She told Robin people like her weren’t allowed in the bar, so I punched her a couple times and her friends started fighting us but we kicked their asses, baby!”
Eddie stared at you, eyes clouded with adoration and awe.
You’d been dating for a while now, and every single damn day Eddie thought he found another thing he loved about you. Every. Single. Day.
And right then, in that moment, Eddie was finally able to express what he’d been thinking, feeling for the last couple of months. It wasn’t really the things you did that he loved about you. Eddie just loved you.
He needed you to know.
“I am so in love with you,” He breathed out, hands reaching out to latch onto your waist and draw you back into him.
He was about to go on his spew about how you didn’t have to say it back and he just wanted you to know but you caught him by surprise, took the breath right out of him.
“I love you, too, Eds. Can we go home now? I’m hungry.”
Eddie blinked, knees weak.
“Baby, I don’t think you know what I’m sayi—“
“You said you love me and I love you, too. I’m drunk, baby, I can still hear you.” You sagged into him, head craned up to give him those eyes of yours.
“You love me?” He whispered, hand moving to tenderly cup the back of your head.
“Mhm.” You nodded, leaning up on your toes as Eddie met you halfway in a passionate kiss. He was about to tease your mouth open with his tongue when Hopper pushed his way out of the station.
“HEY! KNOCK IT OFF! GO HOME!”
Eddie laughed against your mouth as you pouted before he pulled away and ushered you into the van. Once you were buckled, he headed around to the driver’s side and took note of how meek Steve looked as he got into the driver’s seat of his own car. If Eddie didn’t know any better, he’d think it was Steve who got into trouble with the law, and Robin picking him up from the station.
Jonathan, Nancy, Argyle and Eden were long gone.
You were fiddling with the radio when he hopped in.
“It’s not working,” you frowned, continuing to press buttons.
“Sweetheart, the car’s not on.”
“Oh.”
Eddie loved you so much.

Alastor X technology obsessed reader
Tumblr media
Alastor continued to wrapped his arms around and and sigh as he felt the warm bath water slosh around him. A drop of water landed directly onto his nose as you shook gently on top of him as you giggled at your phone. “Hehe what a fucking idiot!” You cackled as the video continued to play.
“Doe, that is the 4th time you’ve played that damned video.”
“Oh I know baby but it gets better every FffFUCKING time!” You snickered. Alastor gently slide his hands down to your inner thighs and gave them a gentle squeeze but nuzzling his face into your neck. You and Alastor had been sitting in this bath for more than hour to the point that the water was barely lukewarm.
You and Alastor! Talk about an unlikely marriage. You spawned in hell many years after Alastor started killing overlords. You were scrolling on your phone when you bumped into him. “Oh sorry- Oh. My. God!”
“Well hello dar- what are you doing?”
“What’s up guys! It’s me,Y/n you’re favorite burning bitch and you’ll never guess you I just ran into. Alastor the radio de- ouch!” You yelled as Alastor’s cane came down on your hand and knocked your phone out of it. “Sorry my dear but this face was made for radio.” He said as he smiled down at you. Swiftly,he turned as his heel and began to walk away but paused as he felt your arm slipped interlocking with his.
After that you seemed to always find him or maybe he was finding you? You turned a corner- there he was. “Oh well hello my dear!”
“Alastor!” You would squeal and ran into his arms…we’ll actually you ran into and wrapped your arms around him and he just let you. After that you just started actually planning hangouts. “Hey what’s your social? What do you mean you don’t have a phone? H-how do you talk to people?” You asked him you brain seemed to almost be breaking. Alastor simply chucked an patted your head. You looked up at him shocked before smiling and grabbing his wrist to move his hand down to your cheek and nuzzled into it. “You know this would make a great Sinstagram story-“ you said while pulling your phone from your pocket but Alastor quickly pushed your hand down and placed a kiss to your lips. “Don’t ruin it…” he whispered.
Your eyes widened before you pulled him closer by his shirt and kissing him harder fighting for dominance.
You and Alastor actually didn’t take that long to get married surprisingly. You just ran up to Rosie and she said you could have a small ceremony in the town hall with one of Alastor’s servants performed the ceremony. You made a big mistake letting him take photos because his face was almost in none of them and they were all shaky as if he didn’t know how to work a camera but you know he did. You were heartbroken when he left for all those years. He did give you a warning unlike with any of his other friends.
“Darling I just need you to know I love you and will never stop…” he said while running a hand through your hair. “Yeah I know silly hehe.” You answered.
“Good…we’ll I’m afraid I’ll be gone for a good while. I’ll seen soon…” All you did was lay on the bed while scrolling and waving him off. “Shoo shoo” you said like you always did. It was a joke you would later regret making. When you got word that your husband chilling at this lame as hAZbiN HoTEl you nearly broke the door down. You eyes were glowing red and your were snarling. “What the FUCK?!” Angeldust screamed as you burst threw the door. “W-WHERE THE FUCK IS MY GODDAMNED HUSHAND?” For some reason everyone’s head turned to Angeldust. “What!? I ain’t never been high enough to get married and forget about it!”
Your nose twitched in anger. “ALASTOR!” You barked. Alastor at that moment appeared around the corner. “Oh Charlie a new guest- y/n?” He said his smile going down to a grin as it seemed to falter. “My love is that you?” He said as he ran to you clutching his staff tight in hand. “Alastor! You cried before running into his arms and beating your hands on his chest. “You bitch! Y-your left me you left me! I-I hate you!” You screamed but all Alastor did was hold you tighter. “I-I missed you so much.” You cried as you both sunk down to the floor.
“Ummmm Alastor who is that?” Vaggie said breaking the silence.
“Everyone this is my wife Y/n”

[found you] sungchan x f!reader | 0.7k words fluff, a little angst but not really, brother's best friend!sungchan, mutual pining, college au kinda... note. reader is eunseok's younger sister and a sophomore not sure if that was too clear. hope u guys enjoy! one two three
you crossed your arms loosely and began the short walk to your apartment. checking your phone, you see a couple texts from your friends, asking how your dinner date had gone. you sighed.
sungmin was sweet; he was cute and respectful and he should’ve been everything you wanted. but somehow, you felt nothing with him. your friends, the same ones who had set the two of you up, convinced you to give it time, but after your second date you ended things, smiling at him softly and telling him you didn’t think it would be a great idea for the two of you to keep seeing each other. he almost begged you to let him walk you home; it was starting to get dark. but you honestly just wanted to get away from him and stop rubbing salt on the wound. so here you were, walking to your campus apartment in a comfortable silence, staring at the ground and filing through your own thoughts.
that silence didn’t last too long as you heard someone call your name confusedly. “y/n?”
you looked up and squinted, barely registering the tall figure that had called out to you. they jogged towards you and you sighed in relief as your eyes focused on the mystery figure's face. jung sungchan. 3rd year student also attending your uni. your brother’s best friend and roommate. and unfortunately, the reason you even went out tonight. he was the person you wished so desperately that your heart would forget.
“hi sungchan.” you managed a weak smile. you could barely look him in the eyes, you face felt like it was on fire every time you looked at him. you felt your pulse jump as he looked you up and down, eyeing your outfit. “going somewhere?” he tried his best to fake surprise. he already knew exactly what your plans were — eunseok had mentioned it earlier that day.
“y/n’s seeing that guy again.” eunseok rolled his eyes after checking his phone. he didn’t understand why you were suddenly going on dates. "i thought he was boring?" seunghan, their third roommate replied, looking up from his cereal.
sungchan walked past the two boys and opened the fridge, grabbing a protein shake. he turned and leant against the countertop, twisting the cap of his drink open. “huh? what guy?.” sungchan tried to sound as unbothered as possible. he wasn't doing a great job at it. eunseok raised an eyebrow at the taller boy. seunghan bit back a laugh.
“some senior yunjin set her up with. park sungmin…. you know him?” eunseok smirked, pretending not to notice the way sungchan’s jaw tightened slightly. "i'm going to the gym" sungchan huffed out as he finished the last sips of his drink, crumpling the bottle with more force than necessary before tossing it.
you looked down at your skirt and blouse, laughing dejectedly. "yeah, dinner actually. i'm on my way home now." although he was over the moon to hear that things with you and sungmin were clearly going nowhere, his eyes softened at the sadness in your voice. "didn't go well?"
"not really, i just wasn't into it, ended things tonight." you looked down, toying with the end of your sleeve. he grimaced. "is that why you're walking back alone?" you nodded. he scanned the area around the two of you. "you could've called me, you shouldn't walk alone so late"
you chuckled softly. "it's okay, i'm a big girl. i can make a five minute walk alone." he broke into a smile and you swear you could feel your heartbeat in your ears. he checked his phone quickly before looking back at you.
"well, me and guys were gonna watch a movie at our place tonight, wanna come along? seems like you could use some company."
you bit your lip in contemplation. you honestly thought spending more time with the one person you were avoiding was a terrible idea. but you also couldn't bear the thought of being alone in your apartment. what's the worst that could happen anyways?
"sure. are you heading there now?" sungchan smiled happily at your answer. "i was gonna pick up some snacks first, there's a convenience store around the corner."
"let's go."
[bonus]
as the front door shut and the tall boy left the apartment, seunghan looked up at eunseok again, chewing the remainder of his cereal. "doesn't it bother you?" eunseok finally let out a laugh. "that he likes my sister? no, i think it's pretty funny, maybe he'll do something about it for once." eunseok's phone chimed with a message from yunjin, a response to him asking where his sister was going tonight. "plus... i'm pretty sure she likes him back."

Suffer Pt. 3
Suffer Part 3 is here! I'm planning on having at least two more parts, I was not expecting this to become a whole thing but :') I gotta see it through now lol
When I say I love slowburn fics, I mean it dammit.
Disclaimer: This is my personal interpretation of the characters from Hazbin Hotel. I respect the canon storyline and characters, but this fic will stray from it a decent amount.
Check out Part one and Part two :)
♡ ♡ ♡
Holding a small, sleeping Charlie close to your chest, you swayed her back and forth. Your eyes fluttered shut, as you danced around the familiar nursery, humming the same tune you've used to calm her down for years. She was asleep. Safe and oblivious to any of the chaos around her. You envied her. With one final spin, you let your eyes open. Your arms were empty. She was gone. The comfortable weight of her tiny figure instantly went away. You panicked, the room you were in was shifted into something unfamiliar and uneasy. A source of light finally drew your eyes. A distant doorframe provides light, casting the silhouette of a tall, curvy woman. Her eyes were glowing.
“L-Lillith?” There were sounds of a baby crying out and the intimidating figure became far away, ceasing any light and drowning you in a darkness that you've felt before. Long ago.
A heavy knocking at your door forced you awake. As you sat up you went to wipe the sleep from your eyes, only now noticing the tears streaming from your face. Just a dream… The knock was louder and quicker this time, forcing a response out of you. “Gimme a minute! Fuck -” You roll out of your bed, going to turn off the radio on your nightstand. Having the radio on throughout the night was something Alastor suggested, obviously, after you confided in him about having a series of nightmares. His show is broadcast while you sleep, and when it isn’t, the radio static actually acts as a soothing white noise. It wasn’t a perfect solution, but it kept you from going insane in the least.
You finally approached the door, your body still wrapped in your large blanket that trailed across the floor. A cheerful, as always, Charlie stood at the door. She was quick to say good morning, but went straight to the point without letting you respond. She clearly practiced this.
“So! I know my dad's visit a few weeks ago was a liiittle… Tense? But - uh, I was wondering if you two talked yet..? By chance?” She spoke like she would be scolded for saying the wrong thing. You shook your head, still slowly blinking awake.
“Well - okay! I was just asking because he.. keeps.. asking about you…” she held her phone out to you, letting you scroll through some of the messages he’s been sending her. You chuckle at first, he can't text for shit. But she was right. Ever since you blew him off that day, he's been asking Charlie how you've been and what you've been up to.
“I mean, I love my dad and it's awesome he's finally talking to me again, but - I don't know, if it's not too much to ask, could you maybe just.. talk to him?” Charlie rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly, and her words broke your heart a little. It's cruel of him to try and reach out to you that way, put Charlie through that distress, but maybe you could've handled your last encounter with more care.
How could you say no to her?
“Yeah, i’ll talk to him, Charlie. Don't worry.” A yawn interrupted your sentence, but you still sent her a reassuring smile as she finally relaxed her shoulders.
“That’s great! I’ll just give him your number!” She planned outloud, turning away to head down the hall.
“Charlie- “ You called out, “He loves you, you know that, right? Don’t forget that.” Charlie’s smile drooped for a second, then quickly picked back up. She nodded as she left your view.
With a yawn, your body still not registering that you were awake or what you had agreed to, you went to shut your door. It didn't click like it usually does, so you turned to see the blockage - Alastor. He'd stuck his foot in the door to prevent it from closing entirely.
“Good morning, my dear!” his voice was booming, as he threw his arms out in a dramatic flare, your door swinging open.
Nope, you were too tired for this.
“Fuck, Al, can't this wait ‘til I'm at least dressed?” You tossed your blanket aside, rummaging through your drawers to cover the little silky tank top and pajama shorts you had borrowed from Angel during your first nights at the hotel. Maybe it was your sleep depravity, or just the fact that Alastor has made it a habit to be extra kind to you since you arrived, but you didn't mind him seeing you in sleepwear. He had no ill intent, as far as you knew.
“Unfortunately, it cannot! I heard you're going on a little outing with the king! How exciting~” He hummed, sitting at the edge of your bed as you cover yourself with your sweater. You plop down next to him, still wiping your eyes. He reached out, swiping his thumb across the apple of your cheek. Looking down at his hand, swiping your tears across his fingers, he met your suddenly embarrassed gaze.
“Another rough night, dear?” You weren't sure how he knew that's what that was from, but you nodded anyway.
“Just another nightmare, it's fine. They're always about Charlie and - the mistakes I made when I was taking care of her.. I guess it still kind of bugs me.” He let out a pitied hum, as he stood to turn your radio back on. He tuned it to some old timey jazz music before resting his hands behind his back. You didn't know it could play music..
“Well, it seems that meeting with that royal menace may not be the wisest choice. Wouldn't you agree?” You looked down before letting a sigh slip from your tired lips.
“It's fine, I can handle myself. Besides, he keeps bugging Charlie and I - I feel like I owe her..”
you shake your head, standing to your feet and beckoning Alastor out of your room.
“It's fine! It's just a quick visit, I won't be gone long.” He took your hand give it a quick kiss, a reassuring smile on his face.
“Well, if he does anything to hurt you, love -” love? “- I'll be right there to help.” He emphasized the end of his sentence with a quick tap on your nose before leaving your room. The music faded back into static as soon as he left.
You heard stories about their fight, plus you could hear their aggressive duet from your room that day, but you believed him either way. You had no doubt he could swoop in and save the day if you needed it. You wondered why people seemed so wary around him. He was a perfect gentleman to you, even with all the warnings you've gotten from Husk and Vaggie.
He had you wrapped around his finger.
You didn't think you would stress about what to wear. You hadn't even made plans yet, but all of sudden, you worried about what he would think of your clothes if he saw you. Charlie sent you his number, so it was on you to reach out. You ignored it for now. You’d ignore it forever if it would keep these feelings from resurfacing. Finally deciding on an outfit, just a black turtleneck that left your arms bare and a skirt that hugged your curves in a lovely way. Even if it probably wasn't the easiest skirt to bend over in, you decided it would do.
A lot of your clothes were hand me downs or were lent to you by either Angel, Vaggie or Charlie. None of it was truly your size, but you had no problem adding in some extra panels or cutting things to your liking. The sweater you grabbed previously was actually gifted to you by Alastor. You had no idea why he would give it to you, a simply red cardigan with a soft knit, but it quickly became your favorite accessory. Pulling up the collar, you buried your nose into the knitting, taking a soft breath in. It always smelled of whiskey and honey, no matter how often you washed it.
You went through your day like normal, followed along with some exercises Charlie was running and taking a quick trip to Cannibal Town with Alastor, something you did every now and then. It started off with him accompanying you to the bakery, where you would occasionally lend a hand, then he would split off to spend the afternoon with Rosie. As time went on, he would ask you to join him.. It was intimidating at first, but Rosie was nothing but a sweetheart, you had no problem fitting in with the two.
when you returned to the hotel, you finally mustered the courage to call Lucifer. With a quick pep-talk to yourself, you held your breath before bringing the phone to your ear. He picked up immediately.
“Hell- Erm.. uhh.. Shit, how do I -” Did he realize he answered the call?
“Helloo? Lucifer here - speaking! Who-who’s this..?” He knew who it was. You assumed this was just him trying to be casual. He wasn't very good at it.
“Lucifer - It’s me.. can we talk?” You were gripping the end of your sleeve nervously with your free hand.
“Yes! Yes, of course! When are you free? We can.. figure something out, right?” You could hear him tripping over himself, kicking things around, and something that sounded like a squeaky-toy being stepped on? His excitement made you giggle. Even with pulling your phone away to try and prevent your laughter coming through, he was losing his mind on the other end of the call. It felt like a nostalgic punch to the gut. He didn't realize how much he missed your laughter until now.
“I guess i’m free whenever.. Charlie doesn't like doing exercises on the weekend, so -” A breeze hit your face, blowing all your hair past your shoulders. Looking to the source, a golden edged portal had opened right in the middle of the hallway. A fidgeting Lucifer was standing with his hands behind his back, a nervous but excited looking grin across his face. You looked down to your phone, seeing the call was still going, then spotted his phone sitting on a table behind him. You let out the smallest huff, before hanging up and tucking your phone away.
“Missed me?” He said suavly, wiggling his eyebrows at you. God, you did. You couldn't admit that though. Your anger, guilt and nerves overshadowed any joy that he may have brought under different circumstances.
“Yeah, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.” You rolled your eyes, beginning to step towards the portal. He reached his hand out to you, and he noticed you hesitating. “it’s uh- it’s a little bit of a drop if you step through the - um.. just.. wanted to -” you took his hand that he almost retracted, and carefully stepped over the border of the portal. You tried to keep your mind from noticing how your hand perfectly fit in his.
Static filled your core as you left the hotel, but before you could turn and see if Alastor was nearby, the portal had shut and the static ceased.
If he does anything to hurt you, I'll be right there.
Alastor's words rung through your head one last time. You finally met Lucifer eyes after literal decades.
“Um.. Tea?” Lucifer was fiddling with his ring again. Years ago, it was something you noticed he did whenever he was nervous. You nodded and watched as he conjured up everything needed to brew hot tea.
“What, you don't use any of the servants for that? Not even some angelic magic?” Small talk felt like it could make this moment less awkward. As he poured the already heated water into two teacups, he simply shook his head.
“Angelic power is great and all, but nothin’ beats fresh tea.” His smile was so sweet. You nervously balled up the sleeve of your sweater into your hand and brought it to your nose, breathing in the same sent that always seemed to calm you.
“And.. I- ahem.. I ended up finding other places for most of the staff after..” he said it quietly, unable to call attention to his missing spouse. Definitely a touchy subject for both of you. You finally looked around, realizing you recognized the tea room. It was small, but was walled in entirely with windows. It had a great view of the little garden that used to be brimming with difigured, yet beautiful, greenery. You took another look around the room, the nostalgia wearing off, taking in the dust and trash that was collected in the corners. The garden had died off as well. It wasn't completely unslightly, but the mess didn't make sense for a royal manor.
His words finally hit you.
“Found other places? What does that even mean?” You could feel your blood boil, watching him place the tea bags in each cup. You calmed for a moment, seeing that his hands were shaking.
“I just found places for them to work, is all. Sent the stylists to that Velvette girl in Pentagram City, some of the cooks went down to the Glutton Ring, ya know. Stuff like that. I wanted them to be taken care of.” He passed the cup to you, then pulled out one of the two chairs at the small table sitting in the center of the room.
“I just wanted to take care of them..since, I-I couldn't do that for you..” His voice was low, and when you attempted to look at his face he would sip from his cup or turn away. Don't be worried about him. He doesn’t deserve that.  It was all so long ago, it doesn't matter. Remember why you're here.
“Good for them. Now, I'm here because you're bugging Charlie. Stop asking about me idiot, she's gonna think something’s wrong.” You placed your half empty cup down. He choked on his drink at your words, not realizing that you had seen the poorly written texts that he was sending to Charlie.
“And nothing is wrong. Right?” Lucifer scratched the back of his neck nervously, then opened his mouth as if to say something. He didn't. He simply nodded at first.
“Y-Yup, right.. Everything's fine. l'll stop asking about you.” You went to stand, brushing the wrinkles from your skirt off as you did. That's that. You came here to get Lucifer to stop bugging Charlie and that's what you did. There's no other reason for you to  -
“Wait, please..!” His hand took a hold of yours, as he almost stumbled out of his chair to keep you from walking off. “I just want to say - “
“ - no you don't have to. It was a long time ago. Everyone makes mistakes, right?” You tried your best to keep your cool, but clearly it wasn't working. He winced at your words, releasing his hold on you.
“I have no excuse. I can't make it all go away, I still feel - “ he clasped his hand to his chest, struggling to figure out what he's trying to say.
“I'm sorry. I don't need you to forgive me, but please know, that I am sorry.” The room went silent, with your back towards him, the only thing you could hear was the beating of your own heart. Lucifer didn't know what to do, until the silence was broken by a pathetic little sniffle.
Dammit, not again. Don't let him get to you. Keep your walls up.
He quickly approaches you, his hands hovering over your shoulder, as if you’d shatter if he touched you.
“Nono, please, I -uhh.. I'll leave Charlie alone! I'll stop talking to you, I'll leave you alone if -”
With a quick turn, finally faced him. Letting out a breath you'd been holding in for far too long, you rush towards him with the intent to meet him with a long overdue embrace. The sudden leap left him staggering backwards, tripping over nothing and bringing both of you to the floor. “Don't you dare! H-How could you.. why would think that's what I want..?” Your words were muffled into his shoulder, since he had placed a hand over your head to protect you from the fall. Not even acknowledging that you were suddenly sitting on the floor between his legs, he finally managed to process your words. It took him a moment to even try and reciprocate the hug. He hadn’t been touched like this for years, it nearly overwhelmed his senses.
“ I want to know what happened that night! I want to know how you feel, or I guess felt, about me.. I dont care if it hurts, please tell me the truth..” all of the questions you've been asking yourself for years suddenly spilled out.
You felt absolutely pathetic, relying on him to tell you everything okay. But fuck, you needed this. Even if you never talk to him again after this, you needed some kind of closure.
“Woah- that's uh.. that's alot to drop on guy.. Uhm…” It wasn't like he didn't want to admit what he was feeling. With the relationship he had with Lillith, he had just become accustomed to not talking about himself much. That being said, with one look Into your teary eyes, he was all yours. He carefully took your hands from around his waist and held them in his own. He gently traced his thumbs along the top of your hands, letting you calm down before he went on.
“I.. I think about you all the time, I always have. I don't know what I would've done differently that night, but I'd do anything to take it back. To fix it..” The sweet smile on his face barely made his words sound better.
“I don't understand, Lucifer.” Your voice was quiet, and cracked a bit when his name passed your lips. You saw him jolt slightly, hearing his own name through your sweet, yet saddened voice.
“Well, I guess..Li-Lillith and I-” You both winced at the mention of her name. “- we weren't what everyone expected of us. And you were one of the only demons to know that. She- ugh.. I don’t know she left without a word, without a note - I have no idea where she went.” You felt like you were getting let in on a secret that he had been keeping for years. And maybe that's exactly what was happening. Your face went pale, your head swaying slightly, Lucifer took a hold of your arms and helped you stand, guided you back to your seat.
“It's not because of me, is it?” You said quietly, as if Lillith was just around the corner, ready to scold the two of you. Again.
“No! No, geez, if it has anything to do with you, then I'm to blame. Don't worry.” He still smiled at you, his face becoming strained after grinning for so long, then placed a hand over yours.
“Don't worry? Yeah! That shouldn't be too hard.. you idiot.” You rolled your eyes, but didn't pull away at his touch.
“I'll get straight to the point then, if you think I'm such a clown -” you couldn't help but grin at his self deprecating humor, and he's so relieved to see your smile.
“With you being in Charlie's life again, I'd like to.. I don't know, clear the air? Try and patch things up..?” You went to deject the idea, but he went on before you could.
“I know it won't be easy, and it's okay if it doesn't work out. But we all used to have so much fun together.. I think right now, it could be good for Charlie, and me, to have someone like you around.. I want you back in my life.” His little spiel seemed scripted up until that last part. Your heart throbbed. You were known to always decline help from people, avoid handouts, but the rush you felt hearing Lucifer say he needs you, you were almost swooning.
“Besides, we've both grown up! Moved on-  Right? I have all of Hell to keep an eye on, and you've got your little boyfriend back at the hotel so -” You wasted no time in correcting him. The idea of him thinking you had moved on with another demon made you panic for some reason you would never admit to. Why did he think you had a boyfriend? Who would -
“Al?? Oh no, it's not like that, I swear. He's just been a good friend to me since I went to the hotel, is all.”
“Al, huh?” He grumbled, leaning back in his seat ans crossing his arms over his chest. The warmth he left on your hand was immediately missed.
“Alastor, you know. The.. um.. You met him.” You held the sleeve of your sweater to your nose again, allowing the sweet air into your lungs. Fuck, he couldnt take his eyes off of you. He never wanted to take his eyes off of you, again. You just looked so pure in your little sweater.
But, that sweater.. something seemed off about it to Lucifer. He could feel some strange energy emitting off of it. It didn't come off as dangerous, but it definitely left him feeling uneasy. Like a headache that's just barely there, suffocating his thoughts. He's felt that before. It clouded his actions and judgements during his fight with-
“Hey, uh.. Be careful around that deer guy, will you? He seems pretty intimidating. Not to me, of course, but you know. Just in case.”
“Just in case of what?” You leaned forward, with your elbows on the table, propping your chin up. “Are you jealous?”
“Wha-What?? Of course not, I'm the king of Hell, I obviously trump him in every aspect.” There it was. There was that cocky, little bundle of nerves you used to know all those years ago. Everything finally hit you with the lost time, seeing that side of him.
“Lucifer, I missed so much. I wanted to be there for her, for Charlie.. I know I was just a babysitter, but there was so much more I wanted to do, so many things I wish I could've seen with her. With you, too.” You placed your hand overtop of his, just as he did to you earlier. He obviously wasn't expecting the reciprocation, flinching slightly at your touch.
“I guess I get what you're saying.. about taking that day back? That maybe if I didnt attack you the way I did, that I could be there longer. But… I was in love, Lucifer.” He stifled any giggles at the idea that you considered that kiss an attack, but nothing mattered after what you had said. He immediately flushed in the face at your words.
“In love..?” He barely whispered the words, his eyes sparkling. He felt a stabbing sensation in his chest, a familiar one, but still one that he hadn't felt in years.
“Yeah.. hm, it would've happened sooner or later, I think. I think I would've done it at some later point, if it didnt happen then.. I guess I'm just glad I left before Charlie could remember me. It all worked out, so - I guess what i’m saying is - we can try. Let's try being friends, again.”
What a bittersweet resolution.
“Okay. I'd like that.” He was fighting off any unwanted feelings. Burying any ideas to just profess that he felt the same way, and that he still does. That he wants to pick back up right where you left off. That he barely kept the longing, of feeling your lips against his, at bay. No matter how hard that was, things were looking up. Don’t blow it, Lucifer.
You chatted for a little while longer. You told him about your struggles after you were fired, all your interactions in Cannibal Town, the good and bad, then your eventual arrival at the hotel. The conversation lightened a bit, as you told stories about Charlie, giving him a much needed update on how she was doing when she wasn't stressing about a visit from him. You went on, talking about the other residents that he didnt have a chance to interact with last time. Obviously, that part of the conversation went into heavy detail about Alastor and all his little gifts and kindness.
Before you noticed, Lucifer held the edges of his chair, his hands gripping tightly into the metal at every little sigh or giggle you'd make in reference to something Alastor did. He'd dismiss it as jealousy for now. But that didn't stop him from rerunning that one moment in his mind. The moment where he was holding you. Touching the small of your back, just like how he used to.
The way you stood so close to him, that he could wrap his slender arm completely around your waist, and the confidence in your dismissal of Luficer's general presence. It was commendable, no matter the subject, he loved seeing your more confident side. Your words still hurt. The topic eventually came up.
“Oh god, Lucifer! I'm so sorry, I almost forgot about that.. I didnt mean anything, that was completely rude of me to treat you like that. I felt something come over me, seeing your face again, I just - I don't know, it was probably just some repressed rage? I'm sorry.” He quickly waved his hands, offering you reassurance in your actions, admitting that he felt he deserved it after everything.
“Don't say that, I was out of line. What you did to me doesn't excuse my actions.” You admitted. Was forgiveness possible in this situation? He had pushed the possibility so far down in his mind that a mutual respect seemed like an unachievable goal. And any reciprocated feelings were merely a dream.
This felt like a dream.
You asked how he was. He didn't hear that question often, so he didn't really answer with fun stories or anything exciting. His mind went into autopilot after you left. And after Lillith left, a lot of memories seemed suppressed. You asked about Charlie. He was worried you'd do that.
“Well- She uh.. went through her whole teenage phase, you know, goth makeup, boyfriends, a bunch of stuff she grew out of. She spent more time with.. her m-mother, though.. as she got older. But hey! Here she is now, doing the whole hotel thing, I'm very proud of her.” He nodded, clearly ready to move off the topic. But you weren’t.
“She looked up to you, you know. A lot. Oh man, she would cry for you all the time, constantly try to get into your workshop - as cute as it was, I wasn't ready to chase her down all the time. And i’d say she still looks up to you, Lucifer. You inspired her, I can tell.” You swayed the backwash of your tea in your cup, the pot was emptied long ago. Looking up, you see a trembling smile then watch him exhale a shaky sigh.
“Thank you.” He said softly. You couldn't stop yourself from leaning towards him a bit, after placing your cup down with a small clink.
Stop, Don't do this again.
Things might be different this time, but it can only go wrong in some other way, you were sure of it. Still, he leaned in as well. As you got closer, ready to shut your eyes to the reality and just let your fantasies take over, he reeled back, cover his nose and mouth with his hand. You jumped back, clearly embarrassed. He wouldnt call attention to it, leaving you to wonder what went wrong, but the scent from the sweater. It was disgusting to him.
“O-Okay, good catch up. I should get going, I - umm.. I promised Charlie I'd help her with something, so..” That was a lie. But if you spent another moment in that room with him alone, you'd have no control over what happened next.
“Oh.. right. Here -” He rose from his chair and opened the portal back up, leading to the same hallway you were in before. Turning back to him as he approached you, neither of you really said goodbye. Neither of you wanted to say goodbye. After an awkward exchange of trying to figure out if this should end with a handshake, a wave, a kiss - nope not that one. a kiss would be too much. But a hug?
Lucifer carefully placed his arms around you, encasing you close to his chest. He could feel your heart rate increase. The scent of your cardigan you wore overwhelmed him, but he refused to let go after feeling your arms lay comfortably around the back of his waist.
Good lord, this man hadn't gotten any in centuries. it took all of his strength to not trail his hands underneath that damned sweater and pull it off of you, feeling his way up your torso, sliding just the clawed tips of his fingers under your shirt until you -
“Lucifer?” Your words were mumbled, your face pressed against his chest after he had tightened his grip.
“Hoof- sorry.” He quickly pulled away. You immediately missed the touch, but it was definitely for the best. For both of you.
“Well, Thanks for coming by.. you have my number..? Right! Call me whenever you want, I'm not busy-” Sure. The king of Hell wasn't busy. He just didn't want to admit that he’d drop anything he was doing if it meant hearing your voice. You nodded your head, taking a firm grip on his hand as you stepped carefully out of the portal and back into the hotel.
“I'll see you, Lucifer.” You said sweetly, he visibly melted at your words.
“I hope so.” With a quick wave, the portal cinched shut.
---
Alastor stood in the hallway, right where the portal had closed, greeting you with a stretched smile.
“Darling! How was your little visit? I wasn't expecting him to sweep you off your feet so soon, I hope it went well.” He approached you, tapping his microphone to the ground and leaning into you.
“You never called for me, I’m hoping he didn’t hurt you. Again.” His voice crackled and a high pitch ring made you cover your ears for a moment.
“No, Alastor, it was good! We're gonna try and work things out, see if we can be friends again. I think it went the best it could, if you ask me.” You hummed with a sense of confidence, strolling dwon the hall with Alastor following beside you. You didn't notice his eye twitch and his ears folding back at the mention of his full name. He was losing you.
“Just be careful, dear! We don’t want you to make any mistakes again, do we?” He had no idea what he was talking about. Right? You hadn’t told him anything.
“Well, it’s about time I run some of my errands. Let me know if I can be of service to you.” A signature greeting for you at this point, Alastor reaches for your hand and presses another kiss across your knuckles. He looks up at you the way he usually does, but he let his lips linger for just a moment longer. Shutting his eyes for a moment, he tilted your hand to place his nose against the sleeve of your gifted sweater, inhaling the scent and exhaling with a hum.
“R-right, I will. Thanks.” You pulled away from his grasp, his eyes suddenly shooting open. You pulled away from him. That hasn't happened before. He wasn't nervous, exactly. But he did disappear into his shadow, which darted down the hall in the blink of an eye, leaving you with nothing but innocent curiosity.

Spending more time with Suguru after months of occasional contact was easier than you assumed it would be. You, usually accompanied by Reina, would go to his art gallery in the evenings with a cup of coffee for yourself and him. It seemed too similar to old times, but you always chose to ignore the video reel of memories that pressed play as soon as you opened the glass doors to the gallery of how you and Satoru went there for the mere purpose of annoying Suguru.
This was one of the days your elbows were resting against one of the thin marble tables in the basement—which, you had to admit, was crafted to perfection to be Suguru’s space in his gallery—and mindlessly scrolling through your phone while he worked on his laptop.
“Yo.” You heard him call from his desk just a few feet away from you. “I have to run out to pick up a late shipment. I’ll be back in like—twenty minutes? You can stay here, we'll meet up with Nanami once I get back.”
Nanami Kento was another new addition into your life, and you’d be lying if you said he wasn’t the most exciting one. It wasn’t that you hadn’t heard about him before—you had, occasionally from Satoru who was his acquaintance back when they were classmates—but he was fresh and new which made it a lot easier to open up to him. You, Kento, and Suguru had plans for dinner tonight with Reina, too, who backed out a few hours ago because her mother had arrived from her month-long trip.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine. Go ahead,” you replied, sending him a small smile over your shoulder as he gave you a short wave, gathered his car key, and went upstairs.
You just continued swiping through your phone, replying to some text messages from earlier this week that didn’t particularly mean much. You’d spent the past few days at home to only sleep, choosing to spend time with Reina, Suguru, and Nanami. You had been in touch with Shoko, too, but hadn’t found a time to meet up with her since she’d gone abroad for an internship for a couple months. Still, it had taken you a long time before you finally began talking to the friends you had that were connected to Satoru.
You heard the small ding of the sound the system made when the door before the basement unlocks through the keycard and furrowed your brows. It hadn’t even been ten minutes since Suguru left, there was no chance he was back. It was followed by heavy thumps of footsteps going down the stairs, and you only had to see the black lace-up shoes to know who it was.
You wanted to scramble for your things and hide underneath a table, but you didn’t have enough time because Satoru saw you the exact moment his face came into view when he stepped on the third-last step.
“O—Oh. I didn’t know you were here.”
You tried to clear your voice, to pretend that this situation was no big deal. Of course, running into your boyfriend of three years and fiance for a few more months who broke it off with you on a random Tuesday was, in one way or another, a big deal. “He left to get a shipment. I don’t think he’ll be back soon.”
For some reason, for some fucking reason he walked closer to you. You had said that Suguru would take a while because you wanted Satoru to take the hint and leave, not so he could step towards you—closer and closer till you could look into that sea in his eyes almost clearly— and take a seat three chairs down from you. No. You didn’t want him near you, especially not after the night on the balcony.
“Guess I’ll wait, then.” His voice was honey. It was so smooth, so soft that your ears would feel warm whenever he spoke.
“You can just call him.”
There was always something you believed when it came to Satoru ever since he began pursuing you before your relationship: he was persistent. He would leave little notes all over your room that you’d find in drawers days after they’d been placed, asking you to go on a date, to give him one chance. Some notes, you found days after you went on said date with him, and that was when you realized how he truly was persistent. It wasn’t just when it came to you, though. When you, Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko went to a bar with an indoor mini golf area, it had taken all three of you to manipulate the ball’s trajectory when he wasn’t looking just so he could pass the hardest route. It was two in the morning and you were ridden with sleep—it wasn’t your fault. When Satoru put his mind to something, he almost always achieved it.
“No point. I’ll just wait—I haven’t seen him in a while.” Just as you knew, Satoru wasn’t backing down.
You didn’t know his motives, and you’d tried really hard to not dig deep into his actions to try to find out. Satoru always haunted all your questions, he was like a ghost within your body constantly testing you, trying to get you to question why he did what he did.
You remembered that you and Satoru were once a blank page, not an entire book that had come to a tragic, unfulfilling end. You tried to erase every word, but they were written in pen and the traces always lingered. So, the only thing you could do was close the book and keep it somewhere far from your sight, but you couldn’t do that when he showed up in front of you. Not as a ghost but as a person, reminding you he was still here, real and moving, and he had pieces of you that you would never get back.
“I’m leaving,” you murmured, deciding that you had the choice to leave it all behind. To leave him all behind. He could haunt you from within, but you couldn’t let him materialize once again into your life.
“Y/N, stop,” he said, arms reaching out to you when you walked past him to go to the staircase but stopping as though he realized it was wrong.
And you replied, “What?” because even though you knew you shouldn’t, a part—a big part—of you was still left in his car where he asked you for the engagement ring. A part of you still couldn’t let him go entirely because you were never good at leaving things behind.
“I want to… apologize,” he began, running his fingers through his unkempt hair. He lifted his hand when you opened your mouth, beginning to say something, and he said, “You don’t have to say anything, okay? Please, just give me five—two minutes of your time. I just need to talk to you.”
And like he told you to, you didn’t say anything because if Satoru wanted to talk for five—two minutes, then you would let him.
“I got married,” he said, as though he was in a daze within his own mind. You scoffed, but didn’t say anything. “And that… that was fucked up. You didn’t deserve hearing about the engagement three months after I ended ours.”
Although it was all true, although you had relived all those moments inside your head, hearing Satoru say them made them real. This wasn’t Reina helping you get over him, this was the him you tried to get over for months. It was humiliating knowing he knew exactly what he did, though there was no doubt he didn’t before this. He knew better than anyone how you felt without talking to you because he was there, holding your hand when a stray tear left your eye as if he was still yours.
You still didn’t say anything.
“I met Hana a month before I ended it with you.” You weren’t sure you could hear this. If somebody held a knife to your chest at that moment, you probably would still stand still, completely silent because there were no words left in your mouth. “I didn’t intend on getting engaged with her, Y/N. I meant it when I said I felt I couldn’t be tied down but—” He paused, as if he didn’t want to continue.
And he didn’t continue, at least for a few minutes that felt like long, grueling hours.
“But she was new, and I hadn’t felt that… newness for so long. Not since I’d met you. And she said things, Y/N, that made me think we couldn’t get married, that we couldn’t work.” His eyes looked at your face, and it was equivalent to a thousand needles piercing your skin because he waited for you to say something, to agree? But you couldn’t, not even after he had broken you completely and left you on the side of the road like you meant nothing. Because in your stupid, twisted head, you could have worked. If he wanted.
He continued, taking your silence as a cue. “When I ended it with you, I—I didn’t want to. I swear. You deserved better, and I realized that I didn’t deserve to be anywhere near you. I couldn’t look at you without feeling guilty about the second-thoughts I was having because another girl made me rethink.”
This wasn’t what you expected today, was the only thought swirling through the tendrils of your mind.
“You don’t have to say you understand because I don’t either. I’m not sorry for ending it with you, Y/N, because you didn’t deserve me after all I did, after all I thought about us. But I am sorry for lying to you and, in a way, making our relationship seem meaningless because you probably thought I moved on too quickly.”
“You did,” you said, surprising yourself with the finality of your words. But you couldn’t take it back now that you had made yourself an almost-coherent member of this conversation.
“What?”
“You did move on, Gojo. Too quickly. I don’t think that, I know that and you do, too.”
He tugged his lower lip between his teeth, and you looked anywhere but at his downcast face. It was hard to admit it to him because you couldn’t stop your words, not when he was piling on brick after brick preparing to tumble it all down with you on the other side. If you stayed there any longer—
“I liked Hana then, but the marriage wasn’t what I expected.” You leaned back against the wall, placing some more distance between the two of you. Satoru seemed as though he was clutching at the flimsiest of straws to keep you there, to let you let him talk. “My father—he pushed for it and after losing you, I didn’t fight against it. I thought a marriage like this would hurt less than us getting married and—”
“And what?” you prompted.
“And having to end. I don’t know—I didn’t want us to fail, Y/N.”
You smiled wryly, understanding there was nothing more left for him to explain. “Okay.”
“Okay? That’s… it?”
“I didn’t question why you did what you did before, didn’t try to get answers. I’m not going to change after you’ve given me those answers I never asked for.” At that point, you were looking to find any words to make a swift exit, but you still remained rooted in your spot.
He sighed, fingers reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose. “You’re saying you would rather not know?”
Of course, you wanted to know, but you had kept yourself from looking for answers. You knew that whatever ran below the surface of Satoru’s flimsy, no-good, unbelievable reason to end your engagement would hurt, and you were always good at taking what he said at face-value. Obviously, you were right but that didn’t grant you the satisfaction of a person whose beliefs were just proven right would.
“I’m saying I’m over it, Satoru.” Your voice was convincing enough. "And if you want a successful marriage, maybe you should tell your wife that you got involved with her while you were engaged to me. I'm not the only one who you should be apologizing to."
As soon as you turned your back towards him and headed for the stairs, the door on top clicked open and Suguru gave you a wide smile and wave when he saw you on the other end.
It was funny, real fucking funny, how on a random Tuesday, every question that had plagued your mind like a ceaseless tornado over almost two years was answered by the harbinger of pain himself. You had been so deeply lost in your own soul, and even a person drowning felt uneasy when pulled back up into the air. Satoru pulled you out and now, he stared at you as if he was a friend who offered you a single piece of a chip because you were starving while he ate an entire packet of it. You weren’t sure how he felt but, with the way he looked at you, you were sure that some immature, adolescent part of him that’s growth stunted in middle school truly believed he had done you right. By telling you the truth two years later.
You didn’t notice Suguru had walked down the steps and taken notice of Satoru and was now flashing his eyes between the two of you as if you were a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. You weren’t.
“Satoru, man. What the fuck are you doing here?” Suguru asked, and you should’ve made your way up the stairs and away from them but you stayed put. Your mind somersaulted, making excuses for yourself to yourself that you had plans with Suguru anyway, and you would leave with him once he makes Satoru leave.
“I just wanted to hang,” Satoru replied, shrugging his shoulders.
Suguru inhaled a deep breath and you could see the corners of his ears turning a dark, angry shade of red in annoyance as he stared his friend down. “Just leave for now, dude. I’ve got plans.”
You didn’t look at Satoru, but you felt his gaze on you as his footsteps reached closer to the stairs. You moved, not wanting to have any unnecessary contact with him. As he reached you, he halted his steps and looked at you and you could have buried yourself right then into a hole because you hated this.
“I know I’m not in the position to ask for anything but I want to tell you, again, that I really don’t want you to hate me. We don’t ever have to talk again, if you don’t want to, but please don’t hate me.”
You looked at his eyes, then stared at him for a moment longer. You laughed, it was bitter and held a certain form of venom you had never shown Satoru, at the sincerity in his features. “Say what you just said but slower, just so you can also comprehend how utterly senseless you sound.”
A hint of annoyance flashed across his features before he tamped it down and shook his head. He started heading up the stairs, not bidding Suguru or you a goodbye, and you sighed in relief.
“Y/N, I—” Suguru started, but you cut him off by pushing him by his shoulders in annoyance. “Woah, woah. What did I do?”
“You didn’t tell me!” you exclaimed, your voice finally coming back to you after whatever-that-was. “He cheated, Suguru! And you didn’t tell me.” You were saying your thoughts exactly as they leaped through your mind, barely comprehending that you had resorted to punching—albeit lightly—Suguru’s chest as you closed your eyes.
Everything was blank, and for a moment you were convinced you had lost a wire inside your brain throughout this entire ordeal.
“Hey, listen,” Suguru said, his arms reaching out to gently grab onto your shoulders. “You kept on saying you don’t wanna dig deeper and all that bullshit once the two of you broke up. And you were doing good, Y/N. You know how long it took you to start acting like yourself again? Four months. I didn’t want to ruin your process because you were healing.”
You gritted your teeth and said, “You had no right, Suguru. And you had no right to assume when I moved on because it didn’t take me just four months. If your—if your fiance cheated on you and didn’t tell you, I wouldn’t keep it from you.” Your voice trailed off as you stared into his eyes, and that was when you’d realized you truly couldn’t rely on him because he was Satoru’s friend first and yours second.
You had—in great fashion—run away from Suguru’s art gallery before he could even form a defense to your words. At that point, you were sure he wouldn’t be showing up to dinner with Nanami because that would not be a good moment for the three of you. You had dug for your phone and texted Nanami, telling him that you’ll be at the restaurant in ten minutes to which he’d instantly replied saying he’ll be there in five.
It didn’t take long for you to drive and reach the restaurant, which is why you were sitting across from Kento who looked more curious than anything. You tried to avoid his watchful gaze, though he didn’t say anything. That might have made it tenfold uncomfortable because he often came to his own conclusions, without asking any questions, and ran with them.
“Stop staring,” you muttered, fingers absentmindedly flipping through the menu. “And decide what you’re going to eat.”
“I already know,” he replied, unmoving with his stare.
“You and Geto fight?” he asked as soon as you’d both placed your order with the waiter. He raised a brow when you tilted your head, feigning confusion. “You can tell me, I don’t give a fuck.”
You laughed at the lightness of his words. “Why do you think we fought?”
He let out a chuckle, barely audible, and took his phone out. “Because he isn’t here? And because he texted me and said ‘sorry, can’t make it.’ And he said you two were coming together and his text was sent the same time you said you were on your way.”
“Okay, genius,” you drawl, resting your arms casually on the wooden table. “I guess it could be considered a fight,” you admitted.
His eyes flickered with the slightest hint of interest but it was gone the next second. “Oh, yeah? Lover’s quarrel?”
“God, shut up.”
“Don’t go thinking I’m God just yet,” he muttered, a smirk playing on his full lips.
You threw the napkin in front of you at his face which he, unfortunately, caught with his hand. “Me and Suguru aren’t even friends like that,” you said, almost believing it. Truth was, it was the heat of the moment and you wanted to clutch at every strand of dignity to make it seem like what Suguru did didn’t hurt, alongside with what you now knew Satoru did, too.
“Uh huh,” Kento sarcastically went along. “So what happened?”
You debated on whether or not you should tell him the entire story, knowing that he was friends with Suguru and sort-of knew Satoru. But there wasn’t anything wrong with confiding in a friend, right? You chose to give him bits and pieces from the day—about how Satoru, your ex-fiance wanted to talk and give you a whole rundown of how he pretty much fell in love with another girl while you were engaged—which slowly got you talking about the few months after the breakup and Satoru’s new engagement. By the time the two of you were about to order dessert, you had told him pretty much everything—not without being prompted though. As soon as the two of you moved on, he’d say something like that fucker’s so stupid. What did he say after that? It was almost like a conversation with Reina, but with Kento it felt different.
He’d look at you every so often while you talked, a glint present in his eye that usually wasn’t there. He’d run his fingers through his blond hair and slightly lift the direction of his eyes to meet your eye, and if you hadn’t been shit-talking your ex’s best friend, you would’ve felt the warmth radiating through your body under his gaze more.
“I meant it,” Kento started, chewing the last bit of the cake you forced him to order. “That Gojo kid is stupid for that shit.”
You laughed, biting your lip to contain the blush that crept up your cheeks. “Calm down, otherwise I might start to think you like me.”
He looked at you with a blank stare then tilted his head to the side, as if trying to read you. “You’re dumb.”
“What?”
“You actually think I’m not interested in you?” he asked, then laughed as if it was the most preposterous thing he had heard. You thought about it for a moment, and realized every attempt at flirting he made, you brushed off as a joke. That’s just Kento, you’d kept on saying to yourself. You’d ignored every attempt he made because the waters after a three-year-relationship were tumultuous, and it was never your first thought that Kento was truly interested everytime he made a comment slightly suggestive.
It took you a moment to realize you still had to reply to him, and in that moment you allowed yourself to feel the warmth underneath his gaze. “What?”
“I’m not saying I’m about to drop to one knee and propose or something. I’m just telling you there’s interest present.”
You weren’t surprised; only Kento could make something that people always shy away from saying seem so easy. You smiled. You weren’t sure if this could work, and you weren’t even sure if this conversation would ever lead to anything in the future, but it felt like a welcome recess from every other part of the random Tuesday. For a moment, it was easy to forget Satoru, Satoru’s betrayal, and Suguru’s behavior. Kento had come into your life during, what you’d consider, a limbo period where you were still navigating the almost-two-years-ago-breakup and its aftermath. He was fresh, and he was new. Perhaps that was the newness Satoru was talking about.
And maybe there was something innately weird about Kento, someone who was interested in you, to listen to you talk about your ex and then tell you he’s interested in you, but you’d always been a fan of the unexpected.
“Don’t go all quiet,” he murmured, twirling his glass of water around absentmindedly.
“There’s interest on my end, too.”

if I showed up in the shape of a storm, would you recognise me?
summer sleepover masterlist
jamie tartt x gn!reader
summary : “memorising their favourite things and treating them when they have a bad day” requested by anon
an : jamiejamiejamiejamiejamie I love him ur honour
Tumblr media
In the 6 months you’d been dating Jamie, you’d quickly come to learn a lot about him. While it had taken him the first 5 months to even get anywhere near close to opening up to you, now that he had, he couldn’t stop.
You knew that he loved blueberries but not when they were in muffins or pancakes, he loved croissants but demanded a hot chocolate too in order to eat one and even then, he would only have marshmallows in it if they were the little ones as the big ones ‘don’t melt properly,’ he would only eat eggs if they were scrambled and he had an absolute affinity for squirrels. You also knew that he absolutely hated thunder storms.
So when you’d opened the weather app and saw there was going to be one tonight, you’d already made up your mind that you were going to show up on his doorstep with his favourite take out and cuddle his worries away.
Your want to fulfil your plan increased tenfold, however, when Roy Kent called you up on your lunch break. If you’d had the time to question how he got your number, you would’ve done, but instead he relayed a quick and to the point message on what had happened to Jamie in the boot room. In the 6 months you’d been together you’d only seen him cry once and you’d sworn it was the worst thing you’d ever experienced; you didn’t realise you could feel so much hurt for another person until that moment.
When your shift thankfully came to an end, you went straight to Tesco, filling your basket with all of his favourite things and then headed straight to the Chinese down the road from his house, picking up the order you knew he got every single time.
However, when you made it to his doorstep, you were suddenly very nervous. What if he didn’t want you here? What if he just wanted to be left alone? What if he thought you’d gone way to overboard and thought you were crazy and broke up with you? Maybe this was a bad idea.
“Babe?” Jamie leant against the doorframe, rubbing sleepily at his eyes. “What are you doing here?”
“Thunder tonight.” You answered, not wanting to mention the phone call from Roy just yet incase it was still a sore topic. “I know you don’t like it. Have you eaten dinner yet?”
It was then Jamie took notice of the bags in your hands, taking the one filled with take out from you and taking you hand in his, closing his front door and leading you to his kitchen. Your heart ached at the lack of a smile on Jamie’s face.
As he plated up your food, you wrapped your arms around his waist, slowly sliding them under his shirt and up the front of his chest, your fingers running up and down as your hands found purchase against his stomach. “What’s on your mind baby, talk to me.”
Jamie’s hands cupped your own, his thumb running across the back of your fingers. He wanted to say that it was nothing; that he was fine and have the two of you move on with your evening. That was easier and less involved. That was also not who Jamie was anymore. “I’m worried about going up to city, seeing my dad.” You squeezed him as he spoke, silently reminding him that you were there and not going anywhere. He turned around in your hold. “I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, I can’t focus or anything. It’s fucking shit and fucking stupid but I feel like I’ve lost my wings.”
“Jamie.” You cooed, a hand reaching up to cradle his face. He immediately leaned into your touch, his eyes tightly closed. “It’s not stupid at all. Don’t think that. Let me take care of you, yeah? We’ll figure it out. Together.”
Jamie nodded, letting you place a sweet kiss to his cheek and pull him by the hand into his living room. When you’d sat on the couch, food in your laps, you backed yourself into the corner, opening your legs and tapping the gap between them. Jamie hesitantly shuffled into the space, resting his head against your chest and settling into you when your fingers laced themselves through his hair.
“I’ll put on guardians of the galaxy 2 while we eat, yeah? Just relax for a bit, and then we can talk about what you’re feeling over some hot chocolate and croissants, if you’re feeling up to it.”
“Sounds good.” Jamie muttered, a forkful of chow mien in his mouth. “I like that movie, like it when baby groot dances, it’s dead cute.”
You pressed a kiss to Jamie’s head at the opening scene of the movie played, scratching your fingers against his scalp and hoping that it would be enough to wash his worries away. Little did you know, to Jamie, your surprise presence alone had eased his worry tenfold; he was falling ridiculously hard for you.

biting the inside of your cheek deep in thought, your friend – jeongyeon – noticed you’re drifting away. tapping the back of your hand gently, warm smile on her lips. your other friend, jihyo, scoffed.
“and you’re gone again… don’t tell me he’s on your mind” she sighed dramatically. a blush crept on your face since you were caught.
“girl, you were supposed to relax! clear your head! go wild!” jeongyeon grunted and broke into a mischievous giggle “well, the last one is for later”
“we know you love him but please, stop thinking about him. for once…” jihyo pouted “i’ll get jealous!”
“okay, you know i love you both” you smiled, grabbing their hands “i’m sorry. you know how it is”
“well… we don’t. but we understand, we know what you’ve been through. that’s why you need a break” jeongyeon said and jihyo nodded in agreement “aaaand we need to find you a new man”
“huh?” you blinked, reaching for your coffee cup.
“oh come on, don’t act like you don’t understand” jihyo winked and you almost choked on the hot beverage. the action made your friends laugh “what?! that’s not what i meant…” you grunted but your reaction spoke for yourself.
“now that i think about it… jihyo, do you remember chan? from our company? he’s in another department but he’s the manager, you should know him” jeongyeon hummed, tapping her fingers against her coffee cup. you stole a glance at your phone. no one texted you.
“of course i do! i love chan, he’s so cute and good in what he does… wait” the corners of jihyo’s lips curled into a mischievous smile “oh…”
“oh indeed” jeongyeon smirked, both of them slowly looking at you.
“what?” you asked and your attention was quickly dismissed when your phone buzzed. the girls in front of you exchanged sly looks with each other and nodded in agreement.
“okay! let’s go to my place and change up, hm? it’s friday night, i already thought of a party plan” jihyo smacked the table energetically and stood up from the seat, going over to pay for the coffee.
“where does she get this energy from…” you murmured as you texted back. jeongyeon smiled and stood up too, waiting for you.
“yeah… no…” you grunted, swirling the drink in your hand. squeezing your phone between your cheek and your arm, you looked for your lipgloss hidden somewhere in the bag.
you wanted to finish talking before your friends come back with even more drinks. it was hard to hear jooyeon’s rambles due to the loud music booming in the club.
“‘m sorry, can you speak a bit louder?” you asked and managed to find your lipgloss “or just…”
“y/n!” you heard jihyo’s shouts
“sorry, baby, i need to go!” you said
“but…” jooyeon whined and you sighed apologetically.
“i’ll call you in the morning, okay?” you hummed and were met with a soft, sad hmpf. quickly hanging up, you pretended to use your phone as a mirror while holding the lipgloss.
“we’re back, ta-dam!” jeongyeon put the drinks on the table and shot you a suspicious glance “do you even see anything?”
“no… not really” you giggled and put your phone down, gulping down your previous drink “i’ll be right back!”
entering the bathroom you felt a sinking feeling in your stomach. you really shouldn’t have hung up so early. what if it was important? what if he needed help… what if he needed you?
quickly fixing your lipgloss, you shook your head. you shouldn’t think about it so much. the girls went out with you to have fun so just for a night you could forget about him, right?
after hiding the lipgloss in your mini bag; zipping it so the small electric guitar keychain dingled gently, you left the bathroom.
right away you felt your legs tripping or just the impact of someone bumping into you, you weren’t sure. before you could fall, a surprised yelp reached your ears and two hands held you sturdily by your waist.
“i’m sorry, i should have watched where i was going” a male voice rung in your ears, causing you to squirm away from his hold. he let go, shaking his head “sorry”
“that’s okay, it was my fault too” you nodded and looked at his face. the red neon lights in the club didn’t help you in analysing his features but from what you saw now, he was handsome. his mouth opened and you could sense he’d apologise again but suddenly jihyo’s favourite song came on.
you just nodded for the second time and turned around, the man’s gaze following you – unbeknownst to you.
quickly joining your friends you went to the dance floor, finally starting to relax and temporarily forget about your worries.
arriving at your place, head pumping like crazy, you slowly opened the front door. it was around 10am, saturday morning. quietly entering the kitchen and painfully slowly opening the upper cabinet so it doesn’t creak—
“mom is back!”
you sighed. mission failed.
turning around with a smile you were met with jooyeon’s body launching at you.
“easy there” you giggled and last minute kneeled down, so he could hug you properly. his small hands wrapped around your neck, lips smooching your cheek “missed me that much?”
“duh! it’s boring without you!” jooyeon grinned cheekily and leaned away. then you registered someone leaning over the kitchen counter.
“jooyeonnie, could you maybe pick up the toys in the living room? quick, so mom won’t see the mess” the feminine voice was gentle and soft, as always.
“oh shoot, the toys!” jooyeon yelled out, causing you to scrunch your face. as he ran out of the room, you stood up and sent yuna a warm smile.
“thank you…” you sighed, grabbing a glass of water
“i can see the party was nice” she giggled, observing you “do you need me to stay longer? it’s not…”
“no, absolutely not. i already asked you for too much… but thank you so much” you shook your head as a no, putting the mini bag on the countertop.
yuna was jooyeon’s babysitter. she was a first year university student so the deal was great for three of you: jooyeon loved her (and vice versa), she got to earn some money and you had the opportunity to spend your time with friends or stay overtime without any stress. but hey! it was friday, today it’s saturday and yuna, such a young and lovely girl, definitely shouldn’t miss out on her free time on you two. plus your hangover.
“i’ve got this” you nodded and handed her the cash. she looked at you worried, then stealing a glance at jooyeon who already got distracted with something else.
“if you need anything please let me know…” yuna smiled politely.
“i need you to rest now” you chuckled and patted her arm “i’ve got this, really. have a nice day, yuna. jooyeon, say bye to aunt yuna!”
“bye bye!” he yelled out and ran up to her, grinning and reaching his hand out. they did a high five and yuna left, a sweet smile on her lips. to think she was one year younger than you when jooyeon— “where were you?” jooyeon crossed his hands and cocked an eyebrow, watching you. finishing your water you started looking for some medicine.
“with auntie jihyo and jeongyeon…” you started slowly, trying to focus and figure out what to say “… having a fun time. girls’ night out, you know?”
“mhm…” he hummed, dark irises glued to you “then why do you smell so… gross?”
you scoffed, the package with painkillers dropping from some hidden spot behind glasses.
“we were dancing and having drinks… and when i left, aunties were still sleeping so i didn’t want to wake them up with the loud shower” you explained, taking the meds “is it that bad?”
“yeah. take a shower, you stink” jooyeon ordered and turned around, happily going back to the living room and whatever he was doing with the play-dooh. kids are so honest, don’t you just love them?
following his orders you showered, fighting your eyelids. oh a nap… nap would be great right now.
leaving the bathroom, already in your comfy clothes, you shuffled slowly to find jooyeon. he was scribbling something in a colouring book.
“i think i’ll take a nap, joo. wanna go with me?” you asked quietly. his eyes lit up and he dropped the crayons, grabbing your hand instead
“of course, let’s go!” he exclaimed, leading you to your bedroom. jooyeon was old enough to sleep in his own bed but if he had the chance to sleep with you… on the biiiig bed… there’s no way he’d miss it for the world.
soon enough you were falling asleep with mr wolfy, jooyeon’s plushie, by your side.. and nugget, his another plushie. and five other plushies. and, above all, with your son snuggled comfortably next to you.

chan typed furiously, engrossed in his task. he didn’t even realise when felix walked into the room.
“hey, chan?”
he looked up, taken aback.
“what’s up?” chan asked, smiling softly. his features softened, looking at felix’s pensive face.
“see, i was talking to jihyo… you know, the other manager…” felix started. chan nodded — obviously he knew her. they meet once a month at the monthly evaluation “do you happen to be willing to go on a blind date?”
chan froze, eyes widening. he let out a nervous laugh, scratching his head.
“what is this about?” he asked, felix breaking into a smile.
“well you’re single, right? and apparently jihyo has a friend… so we just thought…” felix drifted off and took a deep breath “listen, i know i’m in no place to say it. but you’re my friend, we’ve known each other for years. and i feel like you should give it a shot. just once”
“but…” chan started, still not fully realising what’s going on
“don’t worry about it, i’m sure you’ll do well. literally everyone likes you, you know? me and jihyo can set up the date, just let me know if… that’s okay” felix breathed out, smiling softly. chan looked down and shook his head, shrugging.
“okay. just this once and only because you’re so kind about it” he scoffed. felix’s face lit up, eyes sparkling with joy.
“really?” he asked in shock. chan looked back at him and smiled
“really. but while you’re so euphoric, don’t forget to send me those audio files of the songs, okay?” chan dead serious. his friend nodded enthusiastically, leaving the room.
what the hell did he just agree to…?
Tumblr media
fidgeting with his fingers chan stared at the people in the café. it was cozy, cutely decorated and full of plants. it’s not like he wasn’t here before, it was his friend’s cafe – seungmin’s. he knew all the staff, he was there to help with the decor and all. hell, he often worked there on his laptop with headphones in, in his own world (even though seungmin hated when he did that, apparently he scared the customers away)
he took a deep sigh and looked over at the counter. seungmin along with his two workers, momo and minho sent him thumbs up. of course, they knew about the date, felix had told them.
the door opened and he looked up, excited and nervous at the same time. his features dropped once he noticed it was an elder lady. letting out a scoff he checked the time. well, he was the one who was a bit earlier. would you be on time? or show up at all? he was thinking about–
“excuse me? are you chan?”
he looked up, blinking slowly. oh wow. you… you looked stunning.
“oh. yeah. yeah, that’s me” he nodded and stood up, reaching his hand out “y/n, i assume? jihyo’s friend?”
“yes” you smiled and shook his hand, sitting down “did you wait long?”
“oh, no… not really” he scratched his neck, glancing at his friends. they all sent him thumbs up “here’s the menu…”
“thank you. oh wow, the choices are…” you giggled nervously, reading all the drink and dessert descriptions. jooyeon would definitely like strawberry boom, whatever that was.
“i know, right?” chan tilted his head and adored your features. when jihyo said you’re pretty, he didn’t give it a much thought. he’d say the same thing about felix or his other friends too. but you… you were really angelic. and your smile was so sweet, he never wanted to see it disappear– “hm?”
“i’ll just go for an americano for now” you said and looked up “what about you?”
“i’ll get the strawberry cake, it’s really good. well, actually my friend owns the cafe so…” chan mumbled “… um, yeah. depends what you like, the lemon muffin is good too!”
“okay, if you recommend it then i’ll take it” you shot him a smile and before you could walk up to the counter, someone arrived at the table. your eyes widened upon seeing momo, a friend of jeongyeon’s. you talked a couple of times, she’s really nice but you didn’t know she worked here. in fact, didn’t she work at some dance studio…?
“hi, can i take your order?” she asked sweetly. chan’s gaze was focused on you. it warmed your heart because, well… momo was gorgeous. and he chose to look at you? a small thing but still…
“yes, i’ll take the strawberry cake and espresso. and for this beautiful lady, americano and lemon muffin” chan said, sending you a boyish smile. momo nodded
“iced or warm?” she asked you, winking.
“iced, please” you hummed and realised you still have your purse hung over your arm. momo walked away and you took the purse off, hanging it on the back of the chair.
“sorry if i’m awkward, i haven’t been on a date in a while” you chuckled and noticed chan’s gazed glued to your purse.
“the keychain” he hummed, pointing at it. you grabbed your purse and showed him the electric guitar keychain that was attached to the zipper “it’s cute”
“thank you. it’s a gift from a family member, i carry it everywhere” you hummed and watched chan’s eyes widen.
“were you perhaps at a party last week?” he asked, giggling when your face turned into shock while nodding “oh! so this is the mystery person i bumped into”
“what?!” you laughed loudly, uncontrollable grin plastered on your face “no way! i didn’t see your face then…”
“well me too but i remembered the guitar chain. i’m kind of a music freak… well, i do music for passion and work so it just… it just caught my eye” chan hummed, pointing at the item again “do you play?”
“oh, i used to when i was younger. and then boom, adult life, work, uni… i had to sell it to make ends meet. so, sadly, not anymore” you explained and nodded your head slowly. it was true.
however, a fact was that jooyeon gave it to you. well, he bought it somewhere when he was on a trip with his kindergarten. music ran in his veins ever since he was little. you still have those cute videos when he was younger and used pot lids as drum plates–
“–for a living?” chan’s question brought you back to life. momo arrived and placed your orders. letting out a small, amazed gasp you took out your phone to snap a picture. you’d show it later to jooyeon. maybe one day you could visit the café with him.
“i work in corpo. numbers, numbers and numbers. i wanna change my job but eh… is it worth the risk?” you answer and your life flashes in front of your eyes when your wallpaper appears on your phone.
obviously, it’s your son but you hoped chan didn’t see it. so you try to act like nothing happened: “this muffin is so cute i need to take a picture”
“honestly, understandable. if it wasn’t my millionth time here, i’d snap pics too” he hummed and realised that ever since you exchanged greetings, he would not stop smiling.
“done! ah, yours looks appetising too” you nod, the big strawberry on his cake as red as the guitar on your keychain.
as you two dive into the desserts, you continue your conversation. you’re surprised to come to a conclusion that after such a long time of not having dates, you weren’t stressed. and… you’re having fun?
jooyeon was doodling something next to you with his tongue stuck out while you were in the phone with jihyo and jeongyeon.
“so?! how was it?!” the former practically yelled, causing your son to look up curiously. he twirled his small pointer finger next to his temple and muttered “she’s crazy”, causing you to scoff and pat his head.
“weeell… it was nice. chan himself is veery handsome but also, so kind? it is a little suspicious now that i think about it” you hummed, subconsciously smiling at your son
“noo, please! we’ve known him for a while and trust me, this man doesn’t have a single bad bone in his body. a green flag, if you will” jengyeon whined “tell us more though!”
“well, we talked… had a nice dessert… and talked more. oh and also, we were at the café momo works at!” you said and stood up, going somewhere distant so jooyeon wouldn’t hear your next words
“we know, we did this on purpose so she could tell us the truth in case you ran away or something…” jihyo laughed, causing you to scoff “and girl! she told us you two just wouldn’t shut up! she said she could feel the chemistry from all the way over there”
a blush crept at your cheeks. was is that visible? he’s just… so cute. and smart. and funny. and–
“did you tell him?” jeongyeon cut in, long silence meeting her question. you could hear the heavy sigh she left “y/n–“
“i know but i panicked! it’s like a biggest turn off for a guy, no? like personally, i’d run away” you mumbled looking over at joo engrossed in his task, swinging his feet and humming happily “i’ll tell him next time, i promise”
“you better. WAIT, NEXT TIME?!” jihyo yelled out and all you could hear were squeals and screams. jooyeon jumped off the chair and grabbed the paper sheet he was drawing on
“yes, next time. we’re having a second date next week and he gave me his number” you squealed too, unable to control the excitement. jooyeon grinned and run up to you, handing you the paper with anticipation.
he drew both of you with guitars in your hands. well, you were also holding hands. a lot of hearts and something that looked like a wolf in the corner. there was also a big, crooked but colourful ‘for my beatifull mommy’.
you leaned down and pressed a kiss onto his forehead.
“thank you, my little rockstar. i love you” you hummed, deciding to ignore the typo he made. it’s the gesture that counts.
Tumblr media
the next date was a surprise. chan texted you to meet at their company, and because you work close, you agreed. he told you you two would drive for an hour, but he promised it’d be worth the wait.
leaving jooyeon with yuna (who complimented your outfit from head to toe, as if she was the one taking you on said date), you were off.
you arrived at the jyp building, almost pretty sure that jeongyeon and jihyo were watching you somewhere from their offices.
chan was standing there, in his suit and tie loosened a bit with a bouquet of fresh flowers in his hand. you gasped and that caught his attention, turning around.
“oh, you’re here!” he smiled brightly. approaching him, you noticed the flowers were probably a picked set; petals mostly white and in pink shades “this is for you~”
“oh… oh wow. i’m… woah, thank you” you smiled widely, warmth spreading across your body. you couldn’t remember the last time a man gave you flowers (except jooyeon, every year on mother’s day… and literally every time he saw a pretty flower and picked it) “they’re are really beautiful”
“i know, right? i thought about you when i saw them but… you’re prettier” chan smiled cheekily and blood rushed to your cheeks. mumbling a quiet, almost incoherent ‘thank you’ he giggled, pointing at something “my car is parked over there. i didn’t think this through though because there’s no water. hopefully the flowers won’t dry out”
“even if they do, i’ll keep them. dried petals really have their own charm” you hummed, smelling them. you followed chan to his car and he opened the door for you with a charming smile. the vehicle itself was way bigger and more expensive than your own. and way more comfortable. and clean. well, chan probably didn’t have a messy five year old to begin with so maybe that’s why. or maybe he’s just a neat man who likes his environment clean and squeaky? that would be nice but then again, with jooyeon nothing ever is clean.
the drive went fast, way too fast. maybe because there was not a moment of dull conversation with chan and you were truly enjoying yourself. in fact, you didn’t even notice when you arrived at a parking. it was surrounded by tall grass, preventing you to see what’s around.
you left the car, leaving the flowers on your seat and chan joined your side.
“so… how’d you meet jihyo and jeongyeon?” he asked, genuinely curious. you followed him and noticed a beach. letting out a small gasp you took off your shoes, grabbing them in your free hand. chan did the same, leaving your left hand and his right one free.
“well… i had a boyfriend in high school. and one day a girl came up to me and gently explained that she thinks my boyfriend is dating someone else. i was surprised, to say at least and i didn’t even want to believe her. but she was like “girl, you need to believe me! let’s talk to his other girlfriend”… so we did. we realised it makes sense, the girl even showed us pictures she took” you giggled at the memory, suddenly – for a brief moment – feeling how his hand brushes against yours “the girl was jihyo, the other girlfriend was jeongyeon. we decided we want to expose him. in the meantime we asked jihyo why she’s helping us and she told us that he asked her out! can you believe it?”
“what a dickhead” chan grunted, amused smile dancing on his lips. he was listening to you, eyes adoring your face.
“i know, right?” you chuckled and when your hands brushed again, you noticed how the tips of his ears turned pink. cute. “so we exposed him, when he was on a ‘date’ with jihyo. we were sixteen so we just, you know… publicly said this and that. i think jihyo told her friends and the word spread he’s a pathetic liar. but our friendship stayed”
“oh woah. i thought it was just like, clicking after working on a project together but this was way more than i could imagine” he laughed and you joined him.
“yeah, it’s an unusual story. how about you? i’m guessing you met her through work stuff?” you tilted your head.
“mhm, exactly. when i was picked as a manager she congratulated me. then we just started meeting at the monthly meetings for managers and chatted during the breaks” he said and then shook his head “with all due respect, enough about jihyo. i wanna know something about you”
“well, what would you like to know?” you hummed.
while you took a walk, chatting about his career, your passions and his travels, the sun set beautifully at the horizon. once the pastel pinks and oranges morphed into navy sky, stars peeking one by one, you decided to return back to the car.
and that’s when you realised chan lost the shoes he was holding. trying to look for it, which was hard not only due to the darkness but also the uncontrollable laughter you two couldn’t contain, you still chatted. that’s when you found out he’s from australia (“oh woah, i always wanted to go there!”) and that he has a dog, berry. just when you said that you were thinking of getting a dog too (well, more like jooyeon wanted a puppy), chan found his shoes.
they were in the sand, waves moving them around. just as he was about to take them, water came. chan yelped, giggling and backing off. you followed him but then realised the shoes were being taken away by the sea. since you had on a sundress and he was in pants, you decided to walk into the water to grab them.
“no, y/n!” chan called but you were already almost knee deep, taking his shoes. you showed them to him and walked up, scratching your head.
“uhm… i don’t think they’ll be useful anymore” you grunted and before you gave him the shoes, chan took off his blazer. placing it slowly on your arms, he took the wet shoes.
“we’ll see. thank you though, you didn’t have to” he laughed.
only when you entered the car, did you realise how late it had gotten. you texted yuna that you’d be back in an hour and offered for her to sleep at your place. she didn’t read the message, so you assumed she might be already asleep.
chan was so kind as to drop you off right at your doorstep. stepping out of the car, he walked you to the door with a shy smile. the flowers in your hand dried a bit but maybe, hopefully, you’d be able to save them.
“thank you for today” you said with a soft smile, slowly walking up to the door “i had a really fun time”
“me too. seriously, i enjoy spending time with you” chan hummed, his hands behind his back. you had a feeling he wanted to say something else
“the beach was really pretty as well. and thank you for the flowers, i’ll try to bring them back to life” a chuckle left your lips and he grinned “if… uhm…”
“we can do this again sometime” he caught on and smiled boyishly “i’m open to suggestions what fo you want to do next time”
“well, i’ll think about it. and… good night, chan. drive safe and sleep well” you said slowly and took a deep breath before quickly pecking his cheek. chan’s ears turned red as you put in the code to the staircase.
“g-good night, y/n!” he stuttered quickly as you walked in. sending him a warm smile before you went to the elevator, off you were.
chan checked if you’re really gone and started giggling like crazy, fingers gently caressing the spot you placed a kiss on.

during your third date with chan, after texting him all the time you decided to go to the cinema. you paid in advance for the tickets when you decided to see oppenheimer (only because you’ve already seen barbie with your friends). laughing at chan’s reaction when he realised, he promised to pay next time.
but in the middle of the movie you got a phone call. you’d decline it but as soon as you noticed it’s jihyo (because she was staying with jooyeon today), you rushed out of the room telling chan you’re going to the bathroom.
“yes? what’s happening?” you asked as soon as you left, going to sit at the nearby bench.
“pfff… one phone call and you already assume something is happening. well, actually right now…” jihyo started and your heart dropped when you heard jooyeon crying in the background.
“jihyo. what happened?” you hissed, anxiously gripping your knee.
“well, i don’t really know. i was watching the news and doing some paperwork while he was jooyeoning in the background, when suddenly he started crying. i checked if he hurt himself, nothing. he won’t tell me why, he won’t hug me… i don’t know what to do. he told me not to call you but i’m getting nervous” jihyo said and you could tell by the speed of her speech. taking a deep breath, you nodded.
“hand the phone to joo, please” you breathed out and soon you heard your son’s choked sobs. “jooyeonnie?”
“mom…” he sniffled and suddenly started yelling “you’re a liar! you’re gonna leave me just like daddy did! you– you–! i hate you–!”
“hey, hey… calm down, joo. what’s going on? mommy is never going to leave you” you whispered, heart shattering. what is going on?
“you will! you’re a liar! and you’ll leave auntie yuna and auntie jihyo and– and auntie jeongyeon too! you’re a bad, ugly liar” jooyeon started hyperventilating, sobs and cries only audible on the other side of the phone
“jooyeonnie… i’d never leave you, i promise! mommy will be back in a second, alright? do you want me to buy you a snack on my way home? anything you want, my precious baby” you cooed, heart thumping in your chest. did someone say something in the kindergarten?
silence. long silence.
“dino nuggets…” jooyeonnie murmured, sniffling again.
“got it. i’ll be back in ten minutes, dear” you gulped, standing up “love you so much. i’ll be back soon, hold on okay?”
you hung up and hid your phone back in your bag. running your hands through your hair as your mind raced. what happened? who made joo think this way? why–
“y/n?”
you looked up and saw chan walking your way. great.
“are you okay? i got worried, you…” he stopped, smile dropping “you’re pale, did something happen?”
yes. your son – about who you didn’t tell him yet – is bawling his eyes out at home, god knows why. and you’re terrified. parenting books didn’t prepare you for any of this.
“i… i don’t feel too good. i’m sorry, i think i’ll go home” you mumbled, sending him a sad look “i’d love to stay but…”
“hey, hey. i understand. absolutely don’t worry. do you want me to drive you home?” he asked, voice genuinely filled with worry. it made your stomach flip, it was something truly heartwarming.
“no, no it’s okay. i’ll take a painkiller and go to sleep but i’ll let you know once i feel better. again, i’m sorry for ruining our date” you mumbled. chan took your hands in his and caressed it with his thumbs.
“please don’t worry about anything, okay?” he hummed and squeezed your hands “are you sure you’ll go home on your own?”
“yes, i am. i’ll keep you updated. again, i’m so–“ you started but chan shook his head.
“don’t be” he said softly and let you go. you sent him an apologetic smile and walked away. chan observed you until you were gone from his sight.
you were home quickly, with dino nuggets and some other necessities (gummy bears and ice cream). swinging the door open you almost dropped the groceries, running up to jooyeon. he wasn’t crying anymore, which was good but now he was sitting on the couch with his arms crossed. pouting. ah. he’s more angry than sad now.
“jooyeonnie, i’m here” you breathed out, giving jihyo a look. she nodded and took the groceries, preparing to heat up the nuggets for jooyeon “will you talk to me? please. did someone say something bad?”
he put his lips into a right line, looking away.
“you’re a liar. you’ll leave me, just like daddy. even auntie jihyo said she’s scared of you leaving” he huffed, lower lip trembling. you sent jihyo a piercing look to which she only mouthed ‘it was a joke’.
you sat up and wrapped an arm around him. joo slapped your hand, wriggling away.
“i won’t leave, baby. what made you think that way, sweetie?” you asked quietly.
jooyeon sighed deeply.
“the guy”
you looked at jihyo, frowning. she shrugged.
“what guy?” you asked. jooyeon puffed his cheeks.
“auntie jihyo said you’re seeing a guy and in a blink of an eye you’ll leave them. and if you’ll leave them, you’ll leave me” he grunted.
oh.
“baby…” you whined, pouting “that’s not…”
“and– and you will disappear, just like dad! the guy will take you away!” jooyeon whined and finally looked at you, cheeks and lashes still wet from tears.
“he will not. your dad was a pu– scaredy cat. he was scared, that’s why he left. i will never… ever, ever leave you, joo!” you smiled and squished his small cheeks “yes, i am seeing a guy. but even if i like him and i’d like him to be my boyfriend, i won’t leave you. we’re a pack, you know? whoever would want me, has to want you too, hm?”
“was dad scared of me?” jooyeon asked, eyes tearing up again.
“oh no no no! he was… how to say it… he was scared of the responsibilities” you sighed. well, technically joo’s dad was scared of him but that’s not a conversation for now, with a five year old “you’re not the reason, okay? if anyone said anything to you…”
he shook his head slowly. so this was the case. poor jooyeon was just scared and… in fact, you did neglect him lately. you didn’t… you didn’t even ask him about his day. after picking him up from kindergarten you went straight away to dress up for the date–
“if that would make you feel better… if there’s a guy i’m seeing, you’ll have to accept him. or not. if you don’t like him, you tell me. we have a deal?” you cocked your head and reached your hand out.
“m’kay…” he murmured and his smaller hand squeezed yours. you pulled him into a hug, hiding your nose in his hair.
“i’m sorry i made you feel that way” you mumbled. jihyo came over, sniffling. sending her a shocked look you realised she’s… crying.
“i have dino nuggets!” she said cheerfully despite her voice trembling. jooyeon leaned away and pecked your cheek before aiming for the nuggets. you let him eat and looked at jihyo.
“what? you made me emotional. can we approve the guy too?” your friend mumbled. you nodded and scoffing, you hugged her too.

during your fourth date with chan – and yet another one during which you didn’t tell him about jooyeon – you were currently strolling down the street, coffee in your hands. well, you drank yours. having a small chat you couldn’t help but giggle when he told you about the time he mistakenly took wrong pendrive to work. resulting in showing his boss a presentation he made for a powerpoint night with his friends, titled: “why felix eating chicken is cannibalism”. you were about to ask him how on earth he didn’t get fired when–
suddenly your heart dropped and everything started happening in slow motion.
jeongyeon and jooyeon walking from around the corner, holding hands. jeongyeon was talking to him, smiling and your son was engrossed in the conversation. he was holding a small flower. his ebony eyes noticed you and widened, sparks of joy. his lips opening, a tiny hand of his letting go jeongyeon’s. and then you heard it.
“mommy!”
joo ran your way, almost dropping the flower. chan was still clueless, eyes laser focused on your features. once he realised something’s wrong, jooyeon was close. your instinct told you to squat and open your arms to hug him, so you did. joo’s body hit yours, tiny hands wrapping around your neck.
“hiya mommy!”
you hugged jooyeon back and leaned away, tucking a strand of his longish hair that stuck to his forehead. was that paint–?
“hi baby” you whispered, barely audible. jeongyeon walked up, panting. finally you looked at chan, heart pounding against your rib cage as if it was about to break any second. you couldn’t read him. sure, his mouth was hanging open and his eyes were widened but…
only when you picked up jooyeon and came back to chan’s eye level, there it was. the reaction you knew too damn well. features dropping, shock morphing into realisation. next was…
“that’s… that’s your kid?” chan spat out. jeongyeon squinted, jaw tensing. she liked chan, sure. he was a nice guy and a hardworking manager. but what he was about to say could completely change her point of view.
“yes” you mumbled faintly, sending him a weak smile “it’s my son–“
“you didn’t tell me. i get it, not saying anything about– i don’t fuc… know, a goldfish when you were nine but a child“ anger. anger was next and now there will be– “y/n… i’m disappointed”
your heart dropped. you had a small flame of hope that he won’t be like the other guys. he won’t run away, he won’t judge. but no. despite all the fun time and genuine softness of his character chan was like every single man you’ve met before.
“i can explain–!” a pathetic whine ripped out of your throat, making jooyeon tilt his head.
“i don’t… i need to go. we’ll talk later” was all he said before walking away.
jeongyeon quickly came over and took jooyeon from your hands. truly, you were thankful for that. as your heart shattered into pieces, your knees went weak. you wanted to lay down on the sidewalk and cry; no, wail.
looking at jooyeon and then jeongyeon, you took a deep breath. no. you’ll have to wait until later. you don’t want him to see you cry. your friend’s face was saying ‘told you so, you should’ve have told him sooner’ but her hand met yours and gave it a small squeeze.
“i’m sorry” she whispered and nudged your arm. jooyeon poked you and gave you the flower he was holding “let’s go home, hm?”
the next two weeks were tough. chan left you on read, so you gave up on texting him. the worst part was that you knew it’s your fault. you should’ve told him earlier. but… you really thought he’s different. he really was, so caring and soft; he didn’t want just to hop in your bed. but in the end, he’s just like others.
jihyo and jeongyeon wanted to kill him. yuna too, even though she didn’t know him. the girls told you that he’s off ever since that day. jihyo didn’t talk to him, only sending cold looks his way. chan seemed… ashamed every time they met. especially jeongyeon. in fact, he seemed to avoid them.
jooyeon was a sweetheart, though. you weren’t sure if he understood but he knew something was wrong. he tried to cheer you up and it worked. how could it not? he’s adorable himself. bringing drawings and flowers from kindergarten or just watching him experiment on the garage band with a huge smile on his face. just having joo around was enough.
one day, he invited his friends over. it was quite a challenge: five other boys running around in your living room. but their laughs were contagious. while most of them, including junhan’s. he was the most shy one, clinging to you and peeking at the boys. joo though, being the happy virus he is, dragged him away from you and they ran to his room. when you wanted to take a look what’s going on, the oldest and the boldest pushed you out.
so you decided to do some paperwork, a sitcom playing in the background. from time to time you heard shouts and sounds of footsteps… and metal lids smashing against each other. guess they were playing the band game.
smiling upon remembering the times you used to do that with jooyeon while you still had your guitar, there was a doorbell ring.
gaon, one of the boys run out.
“if that’s my mom tell her i’m not here!” he yelled and ran away back to joo’s room. scoffing, you walked closer to the door. how would that even work? if you were to say that, his mom would lose her mind. it was the whole purpose of inviting them so they’re here–
“hi”
your eyes widened. opening the door, you were met with chan. he was holding a huge bouquet of flowers, biting his lower lip anxiously. you were so stunned, you couldn’t mutter a word.
“i’m… can we talk?” he asked, sparks of hope in his ebony eyes. he was dressed like usual, black from head to toe. you on the other hand… already in your pyjamas–
“i, uh… sure, i guess. come in. or no… see… joo has friends over and–“ you started and got interrupted by a loud metal noise. ah yes, the drums. sending chan an apologetic smile, you sighed “yup. that’s exactly what i was going to say”
chan smiled, nodding.
“it’s fine. those are for you. i know this isn’t enough to make up for how i reacted but…” he handed you the flowers. while you rushed to put them in a vase, chan stepped in and closed the door.
his lips subconsciously curled into a smile while he looked around your place. tiny shoes all over the floor, crayons and papers laying around, cars and legos splattered everywhere. there were plenty of pictures too. most of them were just your son. some of them were jihyo, jeongyeon and you. and your son, again. or some pictures with your parents, like on your graduation day. and another one: your parents, you and your son.
“okay, come in. take your shoes off, it’s already a mess. do you, uhm… want some coffee?” you asked, fidgeting with your fingers. he shook his head as a no.
“no, thank you. listen y/n… i’m sorry” chan said, looking into your eyes. you were shocked, mouth slightly parting. he let out a nervous laugh “i’ve been acting like a total idiot since then but i needed some time to think, i’m sorry”
“yeah, i mean– it was kind of a bomb, wasn’t it?” you scoff. chan noticed a glint of bitterness on your face.
“can we sit down? i feel like–“ he started. you led him to the couch, quickly moving away the small, plastic plates boys left after dinner.
when you were settled down, you turned off the tv. there was comfortable silence, only filled with background noises of faint music coming from joo’s room.
“again, i’m so fucking sorry. y/n, i just… you are really the girl of my dreams. i don’t think i’ve ever met someone who understood me so well, who i just had this flow with. and i truly like you, i really do. i… i know the way i reacted was shitty. but… maybe if you told me…” chan finished hesistantly, scanning your face to see your reaction “truth be told, i needed to think it through. i had so many thoughts but… why, why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
you let out a deep sigh, looking down. at his neat black pants and your messy pyjama ones.
“because i did it before. and each time i was met with the same reaction. either a nasty comment or a weird look, and all of them ended up in eventually leaving me without word. or a word as in “listen, you’re cute but the kid”–“ you took a deep breath, feeling yourself bubble up. chan grabbed your hand and squeezed it “and, and i was so tired of that. it was so selfish of me and unfair for you and even jooyeon but… for a moment i wanted to feel loved. wanted to have fun. i wanted to cherish those moments because i knew you’d leave too and–“
crystal tears started running down your cheeks. chan pulled you closer, wrapping his arms around you. one hand at the back of your head, caressing your hair soothingly.
“and it’s awful; i’m awful. joo thought i’d leave him for you and i knew you’d leave me because of him. it’s never ending circle and i’ll be alone forever and joo will think it’s his fault and–“ you hiccuped, not realising you’re rambling “and- and i really liked you and your reaction hurt me but it was fully my fault…”
“hey. hey, y/n. calm down, it’s okay” chan whispered, lulling you in his arms. you gradually calmed down, the feeling was full of comfort. comfort and closeness you needed. such a simple move, yet it had soothing effect. this made you realise why joo loved to be out to sleep this way.
leaning away from chan when you finally gained the strength to, he wiped your cheeks.
“i’m sorry, from the bottom of my heart. neither of us didn’t handle it properly. we’re human, we make mistakes. but then we learn. i understand now why… why you were scared. and i’m so… pissed. because listen, y/n” he said, voice stern but not in a disturbing way. his calloused hands took your smaller in his “despite the way i reacted i realised i like you. and… if there’s… joo… then– then it is a bit of a challenge. but when i was thinking about it and did the math… you were 20. alone, young. during studies, during work. you were so brave. you still are. and you handled it on your own. so why i, a man, should be scared of helping you?”
your eyes teared up again, heart beating against your rib cage unusually hard.
“well, i am. because i don’t know how you’ll react, or if he’ll like me, or maybe because simply i’m new to this. but… as i said… i like you. and i really want to spend more time with you. if that means taking care of your son, i’m willing to do so to” chan smiled, dimples showing “especially if he’s as funny as his mom”
suddenly you heard footsteps and giggles, followed by a sudden gasp.
“no mrs lee! i’ll save you!” the oldest boy, gunil, shouted. before you could react, chan was getting beaten up with pillows by six kids. even the shy junhan.
he started laughing and fought back, gently of course.
“does anyone here have tickles?!” chan hummed and the boys squealed, backing away.
“who’s that?” jooyeon asked, tugging your t-shirt.
“he’s a friend of mine. chan. can he watch your performance too?” you asked. chan’s ears perked up.
“performance?” he repeated. jooyeon nodded proudly.
“yes! but our music is for vips only!” seungmin added and just now you realised they grabbed the keyboard from joo’s room. jungsu, seated next to him, nodded shyly.
“okay! i’m a music producer so if you guys want i can give you some tips…?” chan asked, sending you a smile.
“pft! auntie jeongyeon and jihyo are music producers too, they gave us tips already!” joo grunted, walking away “anyway… is the audience ready?”
chan nodded enthusiastically and scooted closer to you. watching the six boys perform, chan sneaked his hand in yours and intertwined your fingers. with a squeeze of his hand your heart skipped a beat; you finally met the right person.

Hiii! So i see that you are taking requests, would you mind writing about billie being jelous? Thanks 😊
⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
are you… jealous?
summary: billie gets jealous of your date, and decides to crash it.
warnings: none i think? tell me if i missed any!
a/n: ofc!! AAAAA MY FIRST REQUEST IM SO HAPPY
Tumblr media
“and she’s taking me out for dinner tonight as well! isn’t that so sweet of her?” you said into the phone, waiting on billie’s response. billie sighed, but you didn’t hear. “yeah, that sounds nice,” she said, hiding her displeasure at the news, “what restaurant is it?” “it’s a surprise, apparently.” you giggled. “look, uh- i’ve got to go. talk soon?” billie said abruptly. “oh, ok. talk to you soon billie!”
billie hung up and put her phone down on her pillow. “why not me?” she said out loud, “why that girl? i could treat y/n way better.” you had just gotten back with your ex two weeks ago. the girl had cheated on you and broke your heart, but came crawling back to you once the girl she had cheated with dumped her. billie had voiced her concerns when you told her, but you had refused to listen to her, saying that the girl had changed.
after about twenty minutes of scrolling through instagram, billie got a notification that you had gone live. she switched to her secret account and joined it. you were just chatting to your fans, nothing special. but billie stayed, hopeful for any information about your date. she watched you reply to comments your fans, smiling as you laughed. one fan then asked you about your love life, and billie knew she had to pay full attention now.
“what’s my love life like? well…” you started, “i actually have a date tonight! how about you guys help me choose what i wear?” you asked the viewers, hit with instant replies of “YESSS!!”. you beamed, and said you’d be back in a second before running to your wardrobe, which was off camera. you came back with a few different options, and showed them to the camera. the viewers, including billie, cast their vote. the overwhelming majority was option 2, a red minidress. you thanked your fans, and soon got back to chatting to them. billie stayed til the ends of live, and when you turned it off, billie put her phone down and sighed yet again. she lamented how jealous she was, wishing it was her taking you out on a date, not that horrible ex of yours. and soon, a plan came to mind.
“thank you for doing this, zoe.” billie said, smiling at her friend. zoe smiled back, “no bother.” she said. billie had managed to find out what restaurant you were at by looking at some photos you had posted from inside the restaurant and some other stalking she did. she entered the establishment without any paparazzi noticing, much to her relief. if things went as planned, she and zoe would be placed near you, if not beside you. she looked around at the ceiling, floor and general aesthetic, confirming to herself she was at the right place. then, she saw you. red minidress with matching makeup and shoes; you looked amazing. you were looking at your ex with a sort of love that made billie sick to her stomach with both worry and envy. zoe spyed you too, asking the waitress if her and billie could be seated in the right hand corner or near it, where you and your ex were. the waitress complied, bringing her and billie to a table diagonal from you.
billie and zoe sat down, and billie snuck a glance at you, careful to make sure it went unnoticed. you looked beautiful. billie looked back to zoe and began chatting with her, stealing glances every now and then at you. the waitress came over five minutes later and billie and zoe ordered. after a while, they got their food and began eating. “so,” zoe started, “is it… working?”. she gestured subtly with her head towards you. “man, how am i supposed to know?” billie said, “but i hope so.”
you said something to your date and headed to the bathroom. billie saw this and smirked at zoe. “i’ll be back in a bit.” she said. she walked to the bathroom, just a little bit behind you. she stood awkwardly in one the stalls, waiting for the creak of your stall door. when she heard it, she walked out of her stall and pretended like she hadn’t been stalking you and didn’t know you were there.
“oh hey y/n! didn’t expect you’d be here.” billie lied, smiling at you. you didn’t give the same reaction. “what do you think you’re doing?” you said angrily, staring at billie. billie feigned innocence, asking what you meant. “don’t act all innocent. why are you here? why can’t you leave me alone for one night?” you hissed. billie frowned, but didn’t say anything. “you always do this, billie. any time i’m trying something new with someone, you get in the way of it. it’s so annoying. i wish you would just-“ you stopped yourself, hitting a realisation point. “wait…” you laughed as you looked at billie’s guilty expression. “are you… jealous?” billie looked down, not saying a word. you laughed again. and then billie spoke.
“yes, ok? i am. i am fucking jealous, y/n. i’m jealous because i’ve liked you since i met you, and i’ve had to watch you get your heart broke and i’ve had to fix you up just for you to go back to bitch who did the damage to you! i could you treat you so much better. i could-“
billie was cut off by the feeling of your lips on hers. she jumped out of surprise, but quickly returned it. she was happy, finally.

For your drabbles: Steddie babysitting someone’s baby and deciding that they want one too 💗
Max and Lucas delaying their honeymoon was a shock to everyone until they sat everyone down after their wedding and explained why.
Max was pregnant, and even though they hadn't planned on having kids anytime soon, they were excited.
Everyone was excited for them.
No one was as excited as Steve.
"My first grandchild!" He said dramatically as he hugged them both.
He was the first call when they found it was a boy, Lucas sobbing on the phone equal parts excited and scared while Max poked fun at both of them for crying. He was the one Max called on to plan the baby shower because the Sinclairs were insisting she had to have one.
And he was the first call when Max went into labor two weeks early.
He woke Eddie up, panicked, rushing to get there because Max didn't want anyone but him and Lucas.
When he found out the reason she wanted him there was because they were naming their son after him, he cried for almost an hour straight.
He was their designated babysitter. If they needed him for a date night, he was there with his own diaper bag for baby Steve. When they finally reached a point where they felt comfortable going on their honeymoon, Steve was prepared.
They'd be gone for five days.
Eddie was nervous, had never had to take care of a baby for that long before.
But Steve was ready.
The first two days were uneventful, they kept up as much of the routine Max and Lucas told him about as possible while Eddie still had to work and Steve had to lesson plan for the upcoming year.
But on the third day, baby Steve woke up with a small fever.
"Nothing to worry about yet, he still has an appetite and isn't sleeping more than usual," Steve said when Eddie started to worry.
"Should we call them?"
"No, not yet."
Eddie called into work, wanted to make sure he was home in case he needed to help in some way, even though Steve insisted it would be fine.
Baby Steve was doing okay until the afternoon. His fever spiked and he got cranky, but he wouldn't sleep like he usually did for his afternoon nap.
"Alright, let's try some Motrin."
The Motrin worked for about an hour.
Eddie was rocking baby Steve in his arms as he paced the room, Steve on the phone with the pediatrician explaining what was going on.
"So?" Eddie asked when he was done on the phone.
"Said if it gets above 102 and he stops taking the bottle to take him to the ER, but other than that just let it run its course."
"So we're in for a long night."
"Yep."
But they took turns, quickly found a cycle of switching off every two hours so they could sleep, soft forehead kisses between them when they handed the baby off between them.
By mid-morning the next day, the fever broke and baby Steve was completely back to normal.
Steve watched from his spot in front of the stove as Eddie danced through the room holding a giggling baby Steve, fond smile on his face.
"We should have a baby."
Eddie froze and turned to him, still patting baby Steve on the back slowly.
"I mean, we could. We should. We're good at this."
Eddie blinked.
"I know we said we would wait to talk about it until we could buy a house, but we have a two bedroom apartment already! And we both have stable jobs and have money in savings and we're at an age where most of our friends are planning on it."
Steve felt his heart sink as Eddie remained silent, tried to settle himself into not having kids for a while longer.
Then Eddie's arm wrapped around his waist, making him turn around.
"I'd love to have babies with you. Let's talk about it when little Stevie here isn't around and figure out what our best option is, okay?"
"Really?" Steve beamed at him, unable to help the way he bounced up and down a couple of times in excitement.
"Yeah, sweetheart. Little Stevie needs a friend, don't ya kiddo?"
Baby Steve smacked his hand against Eddie's cheek before reaching for his hair like he always did if he didn't have a toy in his hand.
"We're gonna be dads?"
"Yeah, my love. Good ones, too."

The test in your hand shook. What the fuck were you meant to do now? This wasn’t supposed to happen, this wasn’t part of the plan. It was a silly one time thing, the condom broke, the chances - and you’d defied them all. You were seventeen, far too young for a child. You couldn’t raise a child. And god, what would your mum think?
You spent the night curled up in bed, holding your stuffed bear to your chest. Your legs were pulled up too, hiding your stomach from the world. You had a baby in there- you had to protect it at all costs. You were going to tell the dad first, thankfully you knew who it was. It wasn’t a serious thing but it wasn’t exactly a toxic thing either and you were thankful about that. You wanted to make sure he knew and he was involved every step of the way. The one thing, even only hours after finding out, you were sure of - is that you’d never get rid of your baby.
The next morning, you woke up to the smell of fresh waffles being cooked. Mum was home. Jumping out of bed, you pulled on shorts and your mums FBI jumper and headed downstairs. She’d been on a case and you’d missed her. She heard you run down the stairs and opened her arms in preparation for the hug. You wrapped your arms around her neck and your legs around her hips. She laughed, her deep belly laugh and help you tight.
“Hi my darling,” she said.
“Hi mum, I missed you,” you replied, dropping your feet but staying in her arms.
“I missed you too.” She replied. You stayed like that for a few moments, soaking it up. You don’t really know what happened, or why but you began to cry. She held you tighter, not saying a word.
“One second baby,” she whispered, as you began to smell the burning waffles. She tapped your back and you let go. Sniffling, you wiped your eyes on your sleeve.
Emily turned around with burnt waffles on a plate but still put ice cream on them. You laughed.
“Mum, you can’t eat them if they’re burnt,” you said.
“I’m not wasting them,” she replied. “These are special waffles I got from the city.”
You smiled, at her smile, and lifted yourself up onto the counter. You asked her about the case and she told you what she could. You loved hearing about her work. It was something you really wanted to do.
Your hand rubbed at your stomach, thinking of the peanut in there. You looked at your mum and thought about how you wanted the baby to be just like her - to have her smile, her laugh, her light hearted attitude. She paused, looking at you with a whimsical smile.
“What are you looking at?” she asked softly.
“Just you,” you smiled back. “I love you, mum.”
“I love you too baby,” she whispered, leaning over and kissing your cheek. “Now come eat these New York waffles.”
You spent the entire day watching movies with your mum. Curled up in her bed with her blankets and hoodie. You cuddled into her closely.
“Oh babe,” she whispered, picking up her phone.
“A case?” you sighed, looking up at her with puppy eyes.
“Yeah, love,” she hugged you tight and let you go. You blinked back the tears, trying not to show how disappointed you were.
Hours later, your mum was gone and the dad to your new baby was sitting in your kitchen. You were stalling.
“Y/n, just tell me what’s going on. I’ve been here forty five minutes now and you still haven’t got to the point-”
You sighed and slid into the seat next to him.
“I don’t want you to freaak out. No one else knows but I want you to know that I’ve made a decision and you can either decide to be here for me or not-” you began. His face twisted, almost as if he knew already. His eyes jumped down to your stomach and then back up again. Your hand moved to rest there, protecting your baby already.
“You’re not-”
“I found out yesterday,” you replied, eyes down.
“Have you confirmed it with doctors?” His voice was surprisingly calm, almost as if he was prepared.
“Not yet. I’ve only done one test,” you said. You carried on before he could speak, “but, the signs are all there. That’s why I did a test in the first place.”
“Let’s go to the store and double check and then we can book you a doctors appointment,” he said. He stood up from the chair and went to grab his jacket but you grabbed his wrist.
“Wait,” you whispered. “Tell me what you’re thinking.”
He sat back down quietly and cleared his throat. Your heart was pounding in your chest. You weren’t with this guy, not seriously and this could end so badly. You knew it. He turned in his chair and took hold of your shaking, clammy hands.
“Y/N,” he began. Tears welled in your eyes. “Whatever happens, pregnant or not- I’ve had feelings for a while. It began when we started that project together and then the sex and - look I’ve been meaning to tell you. I won’t lie I hoped that was why you called me over,” he said softly. You were shocked. You didn’t know he was attached.
“What about the other girls?” you asked, referring to the other girls you thought he was sleeping with.
“There aren’t any other girls. Not anymore. I know the lads joke about it - it’s funny to them. But since I realised how much I like you… I dropped them all.”
“All of them?” you were skeptical. His lads did joke, a lot. This guy was the man slag of the school - the one who slept with everyone and he had feelings for you??
“All of them. I promise. I even deleted their numbers, the lot. I only speak to my friends and the occasional girl in my class when needed. I’m serious about you,” he paused and looked at your belly. “And the baby.”
“You want to keep it?” You questioned, almost choking on the question. His eyes went wide – assuming you didn’t from your response.
“I’ll respect anything you chose-” He spluttered. “I just, it’s mine too and that’s important to me.”
“We’re still so young,” you sighed, lowering your eyes.
“We are.” he grabbed your chin and lifted up your head gently so you were looking at him. “But let’s triple confirm the pregnancy and then we can worry then, okay?”
You nodded in agreement and slowly leaned in to kiss him. His soft tone, his gentle eyes and entire person was so comforting to you. You couldn’t help it.
It was triple confirmed. As a pair, working on making things official, you had decided to keep the baby. You knew it would break you trying to abort and with a dad who was interested, genuinely invested even, you knew the baby would be okay. You just had to tell Emily.
She’d texted you to tell you she was about an hour away from home and you began making her dinner. It was her favourite. Deep down, you knew your mum would support you no matter what but the anxiety of the reaction was insane. Your palms were sweaty, you struggled to catch your breath and you couldn’t focus on the cooking at all.
Somehow, you still managed to patch something together in time for her arrival home. She walked through the front door, replaced her heels with slippers and entered the kitchen with a wide smile on her face.
“Oh this is lovely!” she praised, seeing her favourite on the side.
“Sit down mum, I’ll get you some wine,” you replied, unable to make eyecontact. As a profiler, that gave it all away. She smiled and held up her wine glass regardless then set it down, clearing her throat.
“So my angel cake,” she said softly, addressing you in a way that made you more worried - “you’ve either been suspended, done drugs or get pregnant. What’s going on?”
You knew she was joking. She said it as a joke - a common joke parents make: ‘Oh, you’ve come to tell me your pregnant’. But it wasn’t a joke, suddenly it was real life and you were ready to throw up.
Exiting the kitchen at high speed, you crashed into the downstairs bathroom. Emily was quick to drop behind you. She held back your hair and rubbed your back and then sighed. She sat behind you, flushed the toilet and then closed the seat. She stayed close to you and your head rested on the toilet in shame. She knew, no doubt about it, she knew.
“It’s ironic when a mother’s joke becomes truth, isn’t it?” she sighed quietly. Her head rested on the door frame and her eyes ran over you. She rubbed yoru back, sighing a little more and then grabbed your hand.
“Talk to me,” she encouraged. “Tell me.”
“The condom broke,” you suddenly sobbed. “I didn’t do it on purpose and I swear it was an accident-” Emily moved and took you into her arms completely. YOu clung to your mum as if you were four years old again, letting every emotion come out. The anxiety about telling her, the anxiety about the baby. The idea of even having a baby. A new relationship you didn’t know if you were ready for. The fact you were going to be a mum. The way you were only seventeen. The tears ripped through your body but Emily held you the entire time. She didn’t let go, not once.
“I was 15 when I first got pregnant,” Emily said softly, handing you a cup of tea. “
“What?” You replied, eyes wide. Your jaw dropped. Emily smiled at the reaction. “Fifteen?”
“Fifteen.” She took a deep breath before explaining. “I lived in Rome at the time, with my mum who was working hard. I had sex with boys to fit in, being a teenager is hard, I understand that more than you know. Anyway, church and religion was a big thing. My priest said that if I abort the baby, I’m not welcome back into the church. Obviously, I was fifteen, still at school - my mum couldn’t know. I had no other choice. I ended up aborting the baby but my friends helped me back into the church-” she explained. You listened intently.
“Does it make you sad?” you asked.
“What?”
“That you didn’t keep the baby?”
“All the time. I’ll grieve for the baby for as long as I’m alive but I know I made the right choice. My body was still so young, I don’t think it would have even managed to keep a baby safe, as well as me. And then the external factors - plus,” she smiled and grabbed your hand. “If I had kept the baby, I probably never would have had you.” You blushed and lowered your head.
“Are you ashamed?” You whispered.
“I’ll never be ashamed of what I did to fit -”
“No mum,” you interrupted. “Are you ashamed of me?” You saw her heart break through her eyes and she shook her head so adamantly.
“I would never, ever be ashamed of you. Y/N I am so proud of you.”
“Proud for getting knocked up at 17?” you scoffed.
“Hey, no.” she shook her head again. “You don’t talk about yourself or my grandchild like that. Ever. What happened, happened. As you said, it was an accident. Sweetheaart, you’re seventeen. You’re exploring your body and naturally boys too. These things are bound to happen. Perhaps if you were drugged up and on alcohol and got with about five men and we didn’t know who the dad was then I’d probably be a little disappointed but never ashamed.” you began to cry again and she pulled you into a hug.
It was baby shopping day. You had a bump, a cute one that everyone found adorable. Everyone had been so supportive. The entire team adored you evern more, buying you gifts, checking up on you, helping you decorate. JJ, a mum herself, had been lovely and so supportive. Giving you remedies, tips, massages - it had been amazing. Not only had your family stepped up but your boyfriends had too. Hsi family have loved you through it all. You agreed to stay living at home with your mum. Your boyfriend planned on moving in just before the baby arrived - after his exams - so he could help. Your mum wasn’t too bothered about you finishing school this time round as she knew she had more than enough money to send you back when you were ready, even if it was from home.
Garcia and JJ turned up in the car together as you and your boyfriend stood outside the house, waiting for Emily.
“She’s meeting us there, she got a bit caught up with work,” JJ said, opening the door for you.
“She’ll definitely meet us there?” You asked, sad she wouldn’t be able to shop with you. Her opinion was the most important.
“Defiently honey, now hop in,” Garcia said. You got into the car and put on your belt. Your boyfriend sat beside you and held your hand the entire drive, knowing about your new found travel sickness.
Shopping was so succesful. You were pretty sure that between the lot of you, you’d spent over a grand but you didn’t even care. Uncle Rossi had sent money, your grandparents had sent money, everyone you knew had sent you money to put towards baby Prentiss and you were so happy. It had been one of the most amazing days in the pregnancy journey. Whilst you were exhausted from being on your feet, you were even more excited for the little one to arrive.
The baby nursery was ready a few weeks before baby was due. It was under the sea themed, perfect for you and you’re little kicker. Your boyfriend’s exams were over too and he was in the process of moving his things in. Derek had helped build the nursery and Emily hadn’t left your side.
With such a supportive group, you knew the birth of the baby was going to be easy sailing. And it was.
Emily stood on one side, your boyfriend on the other. JJ and Garcia were in the room too, as well as your boyfriend’s mum.
“So go on, tell us the name you chose,” JJ smiled - she’d been in on it since the start. Holding the bundle of pink blankets and tiny baby in your arms, you looked up at your mum with tears in your eyes.
“Mum, you’ve been there every step of the way. From the moment you adopted me at five to this very second you haven’t left my side and I’m so grateful. I’m so proud of you for putting your life of the line everyday to serve the country and bring down the bad guys. I’m so proud of how unbelievably strong you are no matter what you’ve been through. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about how incredible you are. Everyone can see that. I want my baby to have your strength, determination, huge heart and the most beautiful smile.” Tears were streaming down Emily’s face as she caressed your hair. “We decided to call her Emily Hope Prentiss.”

Feel the Rhythm
Tumblr media
okayokayokay🤍
i don't know if this has been done before already, but i've been having a few rough days in danny lane and couldn't get this image out of my head. therefore, i wrote it...💖
Pairing: Daniel Wagner x f!reader
Word Count: 2.4k
Warnings: Pure filth, really. 18+ as always, Minors DNI. dom!Danny, thigh riding, fingering, light choking.
The hallway was empty as you wandered through the building. When Danny called after you’d gotten off work, he had told you that his solo practice was running later than planned. “Honey, I was really looking forward to dinner with you tonight.” You pouted through the phone and he let out a breathy chuckle before suggesting that you pick up food and come to the studio for dinner. “Okay, yeah. I’ll be there in a bit. Love you.” You’d driven home to change your clothes and then stopped to grab the takeout.
Now, you moved down the long corridor, looking over the plaques outside each door for the studio number that he said he’d be in. The food smelled delicious, causing your stomach to growl. You almost gave up out of pure impatience and broke the bags open in the middle of the hallway. But then, by chance, you passed it. Studio 7. Right where he said he’d be. Reaching for the door handle, you twisted it, praying that you weren’t interrupting. As you stepped in the room, closing the door, you were surprised to find it empty. Nobody sat at the soundboard. You moved to the center of the room, placing the bag of takeout on the small table in front of a leather sofa and looking through the glass panes, into the booth. There was no sign of anybody, just Danny’s practice kit sitting in the middle of the soundproofed room. “What the hell?” Pulling your phone out of your purse, you clicked over your boyfriend’s contact at the top of the recents list and held it to your ear. The faint ringing could just barely be heard, you held your phone to your chest, listening hard for where it was coming from. Toeing closer to the sound booth door, hanging slightly ajar, you realized the ringing was coming from inside. You pushed the door open, following the sound to the drum set, where Danny’s phone sat atop the snare with his sticks. Blowing out a huff, you hung up the call and watched his phone go dark and silent.
You looked around the room, searching for any clue as to where he may have gone off to, but came up short as your eyes traveled back to the kit in front of you. One of the cymbals glinted beneath the dimmed lights and you reached out, running your finger over the grooved metal. Visions of him, tucked behind his stage kit, flashed through your mind. His focused face and bare chest, glistening with sweat. His big hands, gripping the sticks and beating down on the drums. It was villainous, the way he was forced to stay behind the plethora of equipment, obstructing his body from the crowd’s line of sight. The way his biceps flexed or his legs bounced every time he hit the pedal. You clenched your thighs at the image, pushing it away into the depths of your brain before it had the chance to make your panties wet. Taking a seat on his stool, you hissed when your lounge shorts rode up, exposing your bare legs to the cold leather. You picked up Danny’s phone, placing it on the floor with your own and then grabbed the drumsticks, fitting them in your hands. He always made it look so effortless when he played, carrying a perfect rhythm through every song. Your foot found the pedal, tapping it, and you jumped, startled by the loud thud. Laughing quietly to yourself, you did it again, and then again. The sound vibrated your chest and you closed your eyes, soaking it in. When you opened them again, you looked down at the sticks in your grasp and brought one up, tapping it to a drum on your right. You weren’t entirely sure which drum it was, but you kept going, hitting it again before directing your attention at the cymbals to your left. You tried to work out a beat, but you really had no clue what you were doing. Your foot continued pressing the pedal, trying to get a solid bass beat, but your arms wouldn’t work in tune with it, making everything sound very choppy. Your laugh echoed through the room as you kept going, having a thoroughly good time.
“You trying to steal my job, angel?” Danny’s voice surprised you, eliciting a squeal as you fumbled with the drumsticks.
You held them against your chest to stop them from dropping and looked up at him, standing in the doorway, “I don’t know how you do this for hours, babe. My arms are aching and I’ve only been at it for like ten minutes.”
He chuckled, stepping in and closing the door behind him, locking all the sound in. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were here already. I ran downstairs to grab a drink.” He walked towards you, his long legs closing the distance in just a few strides. You bit your lip as you caught a full glimpse of him, short shorts and a cut-off t-shirt that left his sides exposed.
He came up behind you and you tilted your head to him as he leaned down, greeting you with a soft kiss. “It’s only been about 15 minutes, Daniel, I’m fine. I’ve been keeping myself entertained.” You giggled, hitting a stick on the snare drum.
His hands gripped your shoulders as he hummed, “You look good behind the drums, sweetheart. Hot.”
“Yeah, too bad I can’t play for shit or I’d really give you a run for your money.” You leaned back, resting your back against his thighs and your head against his lower belly. His fingers rubbed into your skin, massaging little circles and you let your eyes fall shut, a quiet groan escaping your throat at the relaxing feeling.
“It wasn’t that bad. Here, sit up.” He pushed you forward to sit straight, “Put your foot back on the pedal and tap it a few times to get a steady rhythm going.” He pointed to the floor and waited for you to obey his command. His other hand stayed on your shoulder, fingers tapping along with the single beat you created using the bass drum. Once he was satisfied with the tempo, he threw out more directions. “Okay, good girl.” The praise went straight to your core, sparking a fire. But before you could react, he was speaking again, “Now, tap the high tom just like this,” His fingers drummed on your shoulder, mimicking what he wanted you to do. “And then the snare like this…” His other hand tapped on your opposite shoulder.
Tilting your head again to gaze up at him, you gave an innocent smile, “Babe, I know the bass and the snare, you gotta draw me a map, here.” You waved your hand over the set, holding eye contact with him.
He smirked down at you, a certain glint in his eyes, and hooked his hands under your arms, lifting you to stand. You didn’t get a chance to question him before he was sliding on to the stool and pulling you down in his lap. Settling into him, you tried to ignore the hand he had grasping your hip while he pointed from left to right, listing all the different pieces of his kit. “This one is the high tom, angel. So look,” He shifted you onto his right leg as he got into position and put his right foot over the bass pedal. “Gimme your hands.” You obliged, allowing him to wrap his big hands around yours and he began tapping his foot, kicking the bass. “Just feel the beat with me for a minute and then you can try on your own, yeah?”
You nodded, entirely distracted by the way his thigh muscles flexed between your legs with every tap of his foot. “Okay.” Your voice was quiet and you thought you heard him chuckle, but then his arms were moving with yours, drumming on the snare. It started out simple, a few light hits with your left hands. And then your right hands came up, working at the high tom. Your smile was beaming as you listened to the beat he created using your hands. His leg moved quicker, bouncing beneath you and when he shifted slightly to hit the crash cymbal, you felt him right on your covered clit. You ripped your hands from his, dropping the sticks as a shudder rolled through your body. “Shit.”
Though you couldn’t see it, Danny had a mischievous smirk planted on his face as he eyed you. “Was I moving too fast, baby?” He bent to pick up the sticks. You gave your head a gentle shake, unable to look at him as you chewed on your cheek. He could see the way you fought to keep your breathing even, leaning in to whisper in your ear, “How about you just sit tight and watch?” You didn’t get a chance to respond as he started moving again, his foot kicking slowly at first. He made sure you felt every hard drop of his leg as he hit the pedal with force, the loud thuds filling the room. You couldn’t stop your hips from rolling, begging for friction through the thin material of your shorts. Your boyfriend welcomed the movements, picking up speed and tapping out a simple beat. “You feel that, angel?” His breath was hot on your neck, “Because I can feel you soaking my leg.”
Your eyes fluttered closed and you relaxed into his chest, grinding harder against his strong thigh. “Hmm. Fuck, Danny…” His name tumbled from your lips in a whimper, causing his dick to harden. “So good, babe. You’re s-so good.” Your words fueled him to work harder, moving around your body to hit the kit, bouncing his leg faster.
His teeth nipped your shoulder, drawing a gasp out of you. “You’ve got less than 20 minutes before the sound tech comes back.” You could barely hear him as you focused on chasing your orgasm, “Make it count.”
“Touch me, Danny. Please touch me.” You begged, pleaded to him, but he just snickered in return, making you work for it. It wasn’t nearly enough and you were growing more and more desperate by the second. He knew, but refused to give you what you wanted. Frustrated, you sat up, yanking the sticks from his hands and tossed them to the side. He didn’t like that.
Grabbing a handful of your hair, he pulled you back against his chest again. “Now, why would you do that?” His voice was dangerously low and you would’ve been worried had you not so badly needed release. “You were being such a good girl…” He clicked his tongue, his free hand coming up to circle your throat. “You’re gonna have to really earn it now, you fucking brat.” A whine escaped you as he took the hand that was tangled in your hair and dropped it to your covered pussy, pushing against your clit. You writhed in his hold as he drew circles, keeping featherlight pressure on your clit while squeezing your neck. Your hips began to move against his hand and halted his movements, slapping his palm against your cunt. “Don’t do that, you know better… You wanted me to touch you so bad.” He was taunting you.
The sharp contact sent a jolt through you and you gripped his opposite leg with your left hand. “Baby, please. I can’t take it anymore.” You were panting as his fingers went back to teasing you.
“Oh, you’re gonna take it like this or I’ll have you warm my cock until I finish practice…” He nudged your ear with nose, his tongue licking your lobe, “And I can promise you, that won’t result in an orgasm.” He’s fucking evil.
“No!” The panic was clear in your tone, “This, Daniel. This is- I’ll be good now, please. Just-.” He added more pressure to your aching clit, listening to the desperate moans spilling from your mouth. Your eyes flashed to the clock on the wall. “Ten minutes…” You were panting, trying your damnedest not to grind into him. He finally relented, letting his hand dip into your shorts, under your panties. “Ohhh. Fuck, right there.” Your breath hitched in your throat as his calloused fingers slid through your folds and he pushed two inside of you. “Thank you, baby. Thank you, thank you, thank you.” You didn’t care how pathetic you sounded, all that mattered was the way he instantly found your g spot.
His hand dropped from your throat to lay flat across your abdomen, locking you tightly against him as his fingers fucked you into oblivion. “There she is… That’s my sweet girl.” He was leaving wet kisses on your neck and across your shoulder, whispering the sweetest things to you. You were right on the brink and he knew it, could feel you squeezing around his hand. “You gonna give it to me, angel? Let me have you?” His thumb brushed over your clit, sending you plummeting into your climax.
Your eyes rolled back as your whole body went stiff in his hands. “Shi- I- Danny…” His name was the only coherent thing to leave you as you turned to mush. Your hand came up to cup his face as he eased you through the orgasm, slowing his fingers to a stop. You slumped against him, completely spent and breathless.
When he pulled his fingers from your shorts, he brought them up to your mouth, “Clean them.” You obeyed, opening your mouth to take them in. You sucked your release off of them as he pushed them further into throat, forcing a gag, “Hmm. Good girl.” He hummed in approval as he drew his fingers from your mouth. His hand gripped your chin, turning your face to kiss your lips. His tongue licked over your bottom lip, tasting the remnants of your arousal on it. Just as a growl creeped up his throat, a knock sounded on the glass panes. Your head whipped in the direction, seeing the sound tech on the other side of it.
You looked back to Danny in horror, but he was cool, calm and collected as the man spoke through the mic and into the booth, “Hey, man. I’m ready whenever you are.” He didn’t show any sign of having seen the display you had just put on.
Daniel gave him a simple thumbs up and turned to whisper to you, “Go eat, I’ll be finished up soon and then I’m taking you home.” He pinched your asscheek, eliciting a yelp from you. You kissed him one last time before standing and exiting the sound booth, dripping with anticipation.
