This is the third Taylor Swift-inspired artworks and I am not ashamed to admit that this year I’ll probably be focusing on re-imagining Taylor’s entire discography. Today, the spotlight goes to Champagne Problem, one of the best songs in her ninth studio album, Evermore. Although the song revolves around melancholic piano and soft vocal, I can’t help but reimagine the cover into something more eclectic and psychedelic… Maybe for future remix version?

A little homage to the one and only @taylorswift for gracing us with not one but TWO amazing surprise albums. All of the songs kick ass, but Willow (Elvira Remix) is the jam for ending the year. Just wondering what would happen if she released the track in 1990s - 2000s era?

Folklore, Taylor Swift’s eighth studio album, is a tour-de-force and one of 2020s best albums (as proven by six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year). Not only because of its simple heart-wrenching arrangements, but also deep calculated lyrics. Once again, Taylor proves herself as the unstoppable force in the music industry.
The cover redesign is inspired by the vintage black and white aesthetic of the original which highlights the mythical, solitude feeling that motivates Taylor in recording the album.

The rollercoaster of a year that is 2020 does make horror movies loose their adrenaline pumping action, but I assure you Rami Weekes’s His House will make you fall in love with the genre again.
Powerfully acted by Wunmi Mosaku and Sope Dirisu, His House tells a story about refugee couple from South Sudan who struggle to adjust to their new life in England due to the evil lurking beneath their new house.

Food waste is one of the biggest problems our modern world is currently facing. Thus, it is understandable that one of the biggest creative competitions in the world, Cannes Young Lions, took the theme as this year’s brief. Contestants need to come up with a viable solution for food waste, particularly at the household level. However, there is one twist: solutions presented must be action-based and straightforward enough to be executed in all household levels, meaning a simple billboard or print-ad is not enough.
Despite not participating in the competition, the brief gives me the idea of a zero-waste recipe booklet that can be distributed in major supermarket retailers. Not only retailers can benefit from the possibility of cross-selling their items which will increase profit, and audiences now have an idea of where to start reducing their food waste.
This is an ongoing project that will (hopefully) be updated in the coming weeks  😊

“A rancher conspires to murder his wife for financial gain and convinces his teenage son to participate.”
The plot of 1922 summarises what the movie captures: greed, family violence, guilt, regrets, and lots of rats. This poster tries to capture the messiness of the main character’s inner mind, represented by rough jagged typefaces and rustic layouts with no consistent hierarchy.
Poster inspired by Buck Design.

Last month I collaborated with Kasih.Project, an social program aimed to help international students in Australia by giving them free food and miscellaneous. They asked me to design a simple thank you card for donors. It was a small yet incredibly fulfilling experience.
If you know someone or if you are working in an independent NGO and in need of graphic design help, send me a message or email. I would be more than happy to help!

Freud, a German Netflix series which centres around the mysterious murder spree and strange occurrences in Vienna during the time of young Sigmund Freud. As most of us already know, Freud is a pioneering psychoanalyst who believed in the power of subconscious mind.
Although the series is not the most accurate depiction of his life (or works), it still captures the scary and fascinating capabilities of our subconscious.

It’s pretty easy to imagine what the cover of Strawberry + Cigarettes by Troye Sivan would be.
The lyrics is descriptive in painting a rather hopeless yet beautiful relationship with a rebellious boy/man. It’s a torn picture, sewn together over and over again.

How is your quarantine going so far? Mine is filled with self-induced paranoia after watching Contagion. There are two key learnings from this experience:
1) For fuck’s sake WASH YOUR HAND!
2) Don’t watch pandemic-film for at least 6 months.

Two Suns is a child from the marriage between Australian malt (and wheat) and Japanese technological precision. The sub-brand of Asahi has been flooding the Australian market with it’s catchy name, yellow-ish branding, and expensive look.
However, in this fake rebranding concept, I decided to throw everything the brand has been doing and opted for bolder, more literal approach to the brand’s name: two magnificent powers colliding, creating an impact strong enough to shake the orbit. Enjoy!

This is a simple book cover concept-art for Ken Liu’s The Pape Menagerie. If you never heard about him before, think of this book as the OG Black Mirror. Each of the stories inside contains different timelines, plot twists, futuristic concepts, and touching human stories. Without a doubt, this book is a must-have for every bookshelf.

Marriage story is a movie that blends both the sorrow of divorce and the optimism of starting a new life. #scarlettjohansson #adamdriver and @lauradern give such beautiful performances, bringing @noahbaumbach_ script to life. Artwork heavily inspired by the rustic bold and colorful style of one of the greatest graphic designers, Saul Bass.
