Pirate captains pencil sketches.
I feel ought to draw more of the crew, since these guys were so fun to stylize!

I learned recently that no reins or horseback riding is a thing! They called it “gentle leading.” Gist was that the rider steers with their legs/hips and takes a LOT of trust and a strong bond.
Overall sounds so fitting for the Hero of Time and Epona.

On the Horizon. (Watercolor, ink & gouache).
Hyping myself to get off the burnout train and get back to working on my original comic, The Crystal Glaive (available for free to read on Webtoons).

The Swamp Witch.
I absolutely loved Wytchwood! It was such a wonderful gem of a game to come across, certainly one of my favorite games to play this year.

Watercolor and ink illustration of my smug little cat son, Zuzu. 💕
If I don’t let him sit in my his chair WITH his blanket, Zuzu will pitch such a yowling fit until it’s empty of anyone else’s butt and set up correctly. 🫠

Making nature art can be a nice, therapeutic practice. Especially of gentle savannah giants.

Pencil drawing!
Used an OLD AS SIN ad for (I think) the CARD GAME that apparently existed as reference. Thought it would be fun to redraw it with however my style would reshape it into.

Doodled a bunch of Final Fantasy moogles, inked them all and colored each with different mediums: watercolor, gouache and markers.
I experimented a ton on coming up with a look on how I wanted to draw them, since there’s SO many variations, I figure it’s free game as long as the basic elements are there. I am ESPECIALY sold on a little bat-like inspired pointy noses, probably will draw them like that forever.

Traditionally Watercolor/Ink, baby! 🎨
Demogorons personally freak me out because, for some reason, I have this irrational aversion towards creatures are pale, tall, and extra gangly. 😖 Just NOPE!
Isn’t it so funny how some of us horror fans react to content like: “Oh, I HATE it, kill it with fire! ”😱 and yet also, “Wow, that’s AWESOME!” 🤩

C’mon darlin’, c’mon c’mon darlin’
Let’s exchange the experience~
So this was drawn back in July, and season 4 took me from really liking Stranger Things to LOVING this series. This scene shook me so hard with how intense it was, I can’t remember ever feeling so scared for a character!
I really wanted to try illustrating it and conceptualizing a bit, especially the boys’ desperation to save Max. I took an obscene amount of time to ink it traditionally (piece is 11 x 17, if I remember right?) then colored digitally in Procreate.
