||•Spring Strawberry Salad My favorite thing about warm weather is all the delicious produce! The berries are sweeter, the melon juicier, and all the wonderful vegetables carry a flavor that only the warmth from the Sun could bring. As we are ending the strawberry season I wanted to create a salad that held true to the season. ||•2022 Makes Me Excited At the beginning of each new year we make resolutions, which are essentially goals and 2 weeks into January we forget all about them. This is why I waited until the second week of the month to make this post! With the striking of midnight on 01/01/2022 I had to have honest thoughts about what I truly wanted for myself this year and moving forward. I did not set any weight loss goals or financial goals….I am not going to do better with any relationships/friendships…However, I am going to continue to be my best self and show up as her every single day! I am going to give myself the luxury I deserve and surround myself with genuine love daily. I feel that that’s all I need to do and everything else will fall into place. ||•Preparation Is Everything My mind is always running with thoughts and ideas. Sometimes all these thoughts keep me up at night. But, when I had the thought to film a holiday special at my family’s home I stayed up all night writing out how to pull it together. I knew the task would be easy because my family loves Christmas. All I had to do was prepare. This meant putting up the Christmas tree before Halloween 😂…asking my mother to do her usual decorating a week earlier…..and last but not least making sure my family could all attend the filming. Christmas is an entire event at my family's home. When you pull into the yard you know something festive is about to happen. I love going home for the holidays because there is so much warmth, joy, and love there. Plus, my family is a riot….
