Retsu Unohana (卯ノ花烈, Unohana Retsu), formerly known as Yachiru Unohana (卯ノ花八千流, Unohana Yachiru), aka my wife, was the former captain of the Fourth Division in the Gotei 13. She was one of the oldest and most experienced captains, and was Soul Society's best healer, as well as the first person to wield the name "Kenpachi".[3] Her lieutenant was Isane Kotetsu. She also formerly served as the Captain of the 11th Division. After she was cast into Hell, Unohana gained the epithet of "Death Sword" (死剣, Shiken).[4]

Unohana has the appearance of a slender and very youthful woman with blue eyes and black hair. She wears the standard Shinigami captain uniform apart from using an obi instead of the normal sash, which hides her well-endowed bosom. Her hair is long and is always worn as a large braid down the front of her body. Over 100 years ago, she did not have the large braid, instead styling in front of her as a loose ponytail. While maintaining a kind and gentle look at most times, during her battle with Kenpachi Zaraki, her eyes appear gloomy and menacing. She also wears her hair down for the first time and is revealed to have been covering a notable scar in-between her collarbone, inflicted by Kenpachi when the latter was young.[5] Until some time after she fought Yhwach, she did not tie her hair in front of her, instead wearing it down at all times.[1][6]

Unlike most Shinigami who carry their Zanpakutō in their sash, Unohana has a large string attached to the sheath of her Zanpakutō and carries it over her shoulder, or has her lieutenant, Isane Kotetsu, carry it for her whenever they are together on the battlefield.[7]

Unohana has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. Unohana is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty, shown in the times that she orders Hanatarō Yamada’s imprisonment and Isane Kotetsu’s chasing of Renji Abarai when he runs away with Rukia Kuchiki. Despite her sense of duty, she will also heal almost anybody around her, including Renji after he was defeated by his captain, Gantenbainne Mosqueda when she arrived in Hueco Mundo, and the Visored, referring to them as allies despite Shinji Hirako's reluctance to do so. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division[8] and even her fellow Captains fear her.[9]

However, after the revelation of her past as the first Kenpachi and Shunsui Kyōraku calling on her to draw on her experience from then, Unohana's personality reverts to her original violent and bloodthirsty nature; once she meets with Kenpachi Zaraki, she comments how the scar left on her chest was causing her pain just from the sound of his voice.[10] Unohana herself says that she is infatuated with crossing blades,[11] and firmly believes in taking any actions necessary — even sleight of hands such as hidden daggers — to get ahead in battle.[12][13]

Unohana likes strong-flavored food, preferring it to bland tasting dishes. In her free time, she climbs mountains throughout Rukongai; during these excursions, she collects medicinal herbs. Once a month, she holds an ikebana class for the members of her division[14] and she is also the President of the Ikebana Club.

I had spent the next two hours getting ready, and now it was time to get dressed. A moment I was dreading. Chris had got me this beautiful black silky dress a while back, and I never wore it. I didn’t expect an event to pop up so soon, and wish I bit my tongue making that promise. Don't get me wrong the dress was stunning, but since getting it for me I put on a little more weight, and I wasn’t happy with the way it hung to certain parts of my body.

Chris worshiped my body every damn day, and he never made me feel less than what I am. However that didn’t change how I felt about myself in my head. I mean I always knew I was a bigger girl, but when Chris started dating me his “fans” made sure I knew I was a bigger girl.

I mean I was very comfortable in my own skin and loved myself, but I often had those days of wishing I looked different, and not understanding how Chris picked me out of everyone else. He always told me that he didn’t care about what I looked like on the outside, and that it only mattered what was on the inside. But some days it was hard to believe that narrative.

“Babe, do I have to wear the dress?” I asked looking at Chris

“That was the promise wasn’t it?” He said sliding his shirt on

Wish Granted AU: The 7 Teens 👥👥👥🌟

This one was both the most fun and hardest one to do. At first I hated the idea of 7 friends in general cause its canon that the directors added them later in the story and they wanted to just have a free reference without actually doing something. But the more I thought about it, the more I could see that they were accidentally given a good opportunity to create a new batch of loveable characters. So many creative ideas with it! Even the original concept shows that they had more thought and personality to them!

And they actually did have some personality in the deleted scenes, both during the distraction plan and the dungeon scenes, they felt more like characters than the final film. They had Seven Dwarves without actually acting like the Seven Dwarves, like how....???

Sorry to say, they did nothing in the movie. (yeah, I watched Wish, it was lame. Moving on.) One thing I want to achieve here is they'll be a mix between the Dwarves and the Mane 6. I swear this makes sense. 😅 Also one big difference here is that instead of being friends with them from the start, Asha meets each teen one by one when she and Star enter Rosas. A few of them even know Flazino, but not on a super personal level, just that he's seemingly loyal to Magnifico and Amaya. The teens know each other pretty well since they all work around the same place, but having them work together to start a revolution and defeat an evil will cement them as friends with each other and Asha and Star.

So let's give a quick rundown on each one. The more the story evolves, this page will be updated for additional backgrounds or changes to them.

Dhalia: Combination of Twilight/Doc. She's still a baker in this in version, and her wish is to become the greatest baker in the kingdom. (I actually didn't know this was something canon to the movie until later, it just something I came up with by coincidence!) She's incredibly loyal to the king and queen (with a bit of a crush on Magnifico) and willing to do anything for the kingdom. And...let's just say her role in the story will be bigger than some other rewrites or even the film itself.

Simon: Combination of Big Macintosh/Sleepy. While he still retains his sleepiness, its a result of losing his wish. He was actually strong, outgoing and jovial before then. Now he just doesn't have any ambition to do anything aside from his daily tasks. His wish was to become a royal knight and protect the kingdom.

Gabo: Combination of Rainbow Dash/Grumpy. He's incredibly loyal, but he hides it behind his rudeness. He's been duped so many times that he doesn't trust people anymore, especially when finding out he's right about the king being no good. His wish he's keeping secret, but it'll be revealed somewhere in the story.

Bazeema: Combination of Fluttershy/Bashful. Still keeping her kindness and ability to sneak up on people from the movie, Bazeema adores nature and especially animals. She gets along with just about all the animals in the forest, the royal horses and even the birds. She LOVES when Star turns into animals, since he's the entire animal kingdom rolled into one! The only animal she's never succeeded with was Sabor. He's just too much like his owners to get along with. 😂 Her wish is to provide a safe haven where all the animals would be safe and recover together if hurt.

Dario: Combination of Pinkie Pie/Dopey. Now I know you're thinking why not have the Pinkie inspiration for Hal? Well, I wanted her to be a bit more of a grounded type of funny instead of zany. Since Dario is based on Dopey, he provides a lot of awkward yet endearing humor. Sometimes he tries too hard, but he means well. He always manages to make Star laugh though! His wish is to bring laughter to Rosas, as he's one of the few who notices not everyone is exactly happy there.

Safi: Combination of Rarity/Sneezy. Despite Safi's allergies, he loves animals and is a bit shy around Bazeema whenever he helps tend to the garden or animals around Rosas. He might have like a hundred allergies, but he's always generous when it comes to helping his kingdom. Even though the King and Queen don't appreciate it. 😅(I'm also playing with an idea of Safi x Bazeema. Not entirely sure. I just kinda....got a small vibe of that from watching the movie. Maybe it was just me.) His wish is to get rid of his allergies so he can carry on a conversation without sneezing. Yeah, that's it! 😂😂

Hal: Combination of Applejack/Happy. Bit of a rougher gal in this one. She, a hard worker, but has a great sense of humor. She even helps be a test audience for Dario when it comes to his jokes, which eventually leads them to become a duo. Hal feels pretty content, so she hasn't really thought about a wish to give.

At one point later in the story when all of them do come together, I got an idea for their battle cry or team signal being "Heigh, Ho!". I still can't believe they didn't even use that in the movie.

Oh and there is still a traitor in this story, but...its not who you think it is. That's all I can say without spoilers. So you'll have to figure it out as it goes along.

And there you go, that's gonna be it for the characters now! The only one that may get one is Flazino, but it would be later down the line if I did to avoid spoilers. So now, the first test chapter is coming next! It'll include the "Welcome to Rosas" song, but with a twist! And my bestie @signed-sapphire is gonna help me with it, so stay tuned! 😉

crossing paths every so often, in the kitchen and out in the courtyards. brief scuffles, joking exchanges with them both, but most of all: you were drawn to the boy with chocolate brown eyes and black ringlets that bounced like a living entity on his pretty head. every time he winked at you it was like lighting prickling at your fingertips!! ⚡️💕

one day you were old enough, at 13, to start as a ladies’ maid for Lady Robin, a cousin from the Harrington house. you and her became fast friends (if perhaps a better friend than her parents would hope for someone of non-royal status) and your bedroom was moved to be across from her own chambers.

so you all are besties. survive the perils of manners and etiquette classes together. grow up past teens and into young 20 something lady & her maiden who have to go to balls 🙄 and dress up fancy every time. like christ, the amount of time it takes to get corseted…

but then it starts to be fun when Prince Edward takes a real shine to you. now that he can slink off into the shadows- the King officially announce his own blood, Prince Stephen, as his successor the other week. and Eddie’s freed up to be a rascal.

and he flirts so openly with you during a dance in front of the other royals and the servants and god and everyone that Robin and Steve are like 😑👥😧 are you seeing this my lord. yes my lady. what sickening stuff this is. For real.

and they both decide silently to pull their friends aside. Steve approaches his step-brother with casual jovial nature, slinging his hand around the younger prince’s shoulders like heyyyyy brother. hey bro. you absolutely cannot fall for the freaky witch’s kid. you know that’s fucked up, right? And Eddie’s like what the hell 👁️👁️ why would you say that. I’m not in love with her. Obviously Not.

and as Robin braids your hair before bed later that night she’s like listen… I’m just telling you what Steve told me. but apparently Prince Edward sold mushrooms to that Henderson stableboy for a farthing telling him they were “good dream shrooms”. but all he did was give that poor kid an irritable stomach. I don’t think Edward is a good guy.

Since one old man doesn’t know how to use Instagram and is now on an Instagram ban I may as well officially announce it and stop the many rumours and stop the speculation that is going around. (He is helping me write this but he is banned from instagram for the foreseeable future).

Sebastian and I are dating and have been for several years now. Only close family members really knew about it and that’s what the two of us ultimately decided. We wanted to be able to separate our private lives with our racing so decided to keep this relationship to ourselves. Something for just the two of us to enjoy. We never wanted the media or other people to use our relationship against us when racing both in the same team and against one another. It was bad enough when nobody knew we were dating so we could only imagine what it would be like if people knew and therefore we kept it a secret. From everyone.

I’m sorry to our friends whom we have hid this from and ultimately kept apart of ourselves away from you. I’m sorry that we lied to you for those years and for the extravagant excuses that we had come up with (mainly me) since we couldn’t tell you the truth. I’m sorry that we have left you out of some of our most precious moments and memories however we will make sure that you are involved in our future ones.

This doesn’t change anything about us and never has. It’s never affected our racing and never will just like nobody else’s relationships affect their racing abilities. This shouldn’t change anything at all as we are still the same people but if you are homophobic (and therefore probably old fashioned and don’t think there should be gay drivers, or female for that matter) go and watch some other racing series with some other drivers. We don’t need your hatred here.

Anyway, now Sebastian has outed this relationship he is able to come to every race now without it being suspicious. He can officially become a WAG or HAB. (The best one too)

Joel was not good at sharing his feelings—years on the road, survivng and fighting for himself made him this way; not that you could blame him. He'd seen so much, and love was the last thing on his mind. It hadn't even been a concept to him since Tess died.

You knew that when getting into the relationship with him, he was more devoted to Ellie—the little girl he swore to keep alive no matter the cost. His younger brother, Tommy, had even warned you so. Everyone did, but it was the small things that made it worth it.

Joel always pulled your chair out when you'd spend dinners together, hold you close in bed on nights either of you slept over, or hold your hand while you two watched Ellie play something on her guitar for entertainment. Your relationship was private, and you didn't mind. Joel wasn't good at saying I love you. Though he made sure you felt loved as much as possible.

You had spent the night alone, Joel was out working—fixing things around Jackson in attempt to get some money. You wondered if he remembered that it was Valentines day. You didn't know if it was actually, but everyone in Jackson decided it so, and you went with it to have some sense of normalcy. If Joel didn't know, it wasn't that big of a deal anyways. I mean what is there to do? it's not like you can go to some fancy restaurant, or have a picnic in a park like you could do before the apocalypse. Ellie was put with Dina and some friends, so it was really just you. Most days were, which you couldn't complain about. Sometimes even in a world like this, it's nice to have time to yourself.

You were snug in your bed, reading some book to yourself, amazed that you could find copies of The Great Gatsby, even if the book wasn't your all time favorite – at least it was something to read.

You just got to the part where Daisy and Gatsby begin their affair, blah blah blah Tom Buchanan sucks and Gastby is rich. When you heard a knock on your door, whoever it was, seemed rather impatient, because they knocked a few more times before you got to the door to open it.

"Joel!" you say suprised, he looks tired (So, like he normally did.), as much as you're happy to see him—you figured he'd be working all day, and probably go home once he finished. You just didn't expect to see him today. "What are you doing here?" Despite your question, you move to the side to allow him in. Once he's inside, you close the door.

His shoulders drop, he's less tense. Instantly more comfortable in your presence, he doesn't feel this way around many people. But you're one of the only ones that makes him feel like he's safe, almost like the apocalypse never started. "Now," he says quietly, turning to you—his arms reach out to invite you into an embrace, which you gladly accept, moving closer to him and wrapping your arms around his neck. "You don't think I'd forget about you on the most romantic day of the year?"

"I wasn't even sure if you knew it was Valentines day." you respond, "I didn't even know, until yesterday." He chuckles, his eyes are on you at all times, his arms wrapped securely around you. He leans in to press a kiss to your forehead. "No matter, I've got something planned."

"You do, do you?" He nods, "Get your coat—it's quite cold out there." You're reluctant to pull away, but you're more curious about what he has planned. "Well, I have to change if we're going out." You say, pulling away from him completely, making your way into your bedroom. He follows after you instead of standing around until you got ready, he knew sometimes you'd change your outfit plans a few times; so it very well could take a while.

"Sweetheart, The Great Gatsby? again?" He asks, holding up your copy.

"You try finding something better!" He raises his eyebrows, you're not wrong. You find something simple, it's not like you have fancy outfits nowadays anyway.

You grab your coat, slip it on and the two of you are out the door, you close your door behind you, to your surprise—Joel's holding his arm our for you to take, he'd never been one for PDA, so you took this opportunity graciously.

The two of you don't walk far at all, in fact it's just to his place. He opens the door to reveal the candle-lit home, occasional clutter heard coming from the direction of the kitchen.

The previously three-seated dining table now only had two seats across from eachother. Only laminated by the candle in the middle. There's a nice smell I'm your nose, and upon closer inspection, the clutter and the smell came from Tommy, working away in the kitchen for seemingly awhile.

Joel has this wide grin on his face as he begins to explain, "I know we can't go eat at over-priced Italian restaurants like the old days," he hums, moving to stand infront of you to catch your reaction. "So I decided to bring one here, Tommy's cooking for us, and after many many hours of begging and bargaining, Ellie will be our server."

"Adoring" doesn't even capture the feeling you feel for Joel right now—all the trouble to set up a fancy dinner for you on some day you weren't even sure was actually valentines. For all you knew, in normal days it could've been March right now.

While Joel can be closed off, less affectionate and bad at saying his feelings outright, he knew how to assure you felt special, loved, like you were the one that hung the stars. Despite how happy you felt, you could feel the tears swell in your eyes, he chuckles softly, putting his hands out. "Can I take your jacket?"

You nod, shaking it off and handing it to him, watching him drape it over the back of one of the chairs and pulling it back for you. Once you take your seat, he wants for you to push yourself in before he takes his own seat, like a true gentleman.

"Joel, you didn't have to do all this." you would've been completely content with a sleepover, holding eschother ad you slept and moved onto thr next day. The relationship was low maintenance, and it was easier that way.

"Nonsense, I ought to treat my special person right. I don't do it often enough."

It doesn't take long for Ellie, dressed in all black, to walk over from the kitchen counter over to the table with plates of whatever Tommy had cooked up. It looked delicious, and Tommy had a reputation for being a decent enough cook.

"Here you two go, I'll be back shortly with the wine." Despite the fact that Joel made it sound like she hates the idea of doing this, she had a big, giddy smile on her face. When you entered Joel's life, you were worried about Ellie. If she'd like you, and if you were stepping on her turf. Though she seemed excited to have you around, someone other than Joel to balance him around. In a way, you almost considered her your step-daughter.

Joel's the first one to take a bite, talking to you about his day at work. How he had talked his co-workers ears off about his plans for tonight, that he thinks they were excited for him to leave so that they wouldn't have to keep hearing about it for the rest of the night. When Ellie pours the wine, he's the first one to grab his glass and raise it.

"To us," he says, "Finding comfort and love in such a difficult time, I wouldn't be half as happy as I am without you. I love you."

"I love you, too. Thank you for being you, Joel."

Your glasses clink, and you each take a sip. Continuing the rest of your meal, when Tommt comes over to collect your plates, you laugh at the poorly drawn mustache he has. Like every television based chef, he's wearing all white. All he's really missing is the hat. "How did you two enjoy your meal?" He asks, faking an accent, and needless to say—he's very bad at it.

"It was lovely," you respond, handing your plate to Tommy, "Thank you, kind sir. Compliments to the chef." To which, he does a slight bow.

Joel feels like he's almost who he once was, before all of this. He missed the warm feeling of home and the sense of family. Though he gets all these feelings from you, and he could never be more grateful for it. He truly does love you with every fiber of his being, he's only sorry he's so bad at telling you. While gestures were never his thing, seeing how happy it made you made everything worth it.

He's lost so much, endured and survived the worst things a person could imagine. If it took all of that to end up with you, he considers most of it worth it. Sarah would've loved you, he thinks, the three of you could've been a happy little family in Texas. Not that he doesn't love and value Ellie, but nobody compares to his little girl. He thinks about her during these times of the year, Sarah would always bring home the cutest homemade valentines from school and would be so excited about it.

He moves to stand, shaking all the somber thoughts out of his head, offering his hand out to you. "We've got one more thing planned."

You feel as though you've already been swept off your feet, though he seems more excited about this than he did the dinner he had prepared. You lightly take his hand as he leads you to the living room area. Your cheeks hurt from how much you were smiling, though you felt like you couldn't stop.

Ellie sat to her own secluded corner, playing a song you could easily identify — Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. Surely Joel had to have taught her that, because when you met her all those months ago, she didn't even know who Elvis was.

Joel stands in front of you, one hand on your hip and the other gently grabs your hand.

"Joel, I don't know how to slow dance." You laugh, looking at your feet as he slowly begins to guide you, "I don't either, sweetheart. Let's just have fun."

He holds you close to him, enjoying the acoustic. Ellie truly was talented, she could already be better than Joel, much to his dismay.

"I love you," he whispers. "I know I don't say it a lot, but I see you every day, and I just love you."

"I love you more." you reply, looking up to meet his gaze.

"That ain't possible," He hums, giving you a slow, yet loving kiss. "Happy valentines day, my dear."
