I MEAN, here's something unusual. Very recently in a new place I'm RPing in (i'm finally escaping my eternal DM curse!) some stickbug looking monsters were mentioned. They're named Red Spines, and the color of the spines come from the BLOOD OF THEIR ENEMIES- But they're still stickbugs. so, you know, I couldn't resist the opportunity.

The three guys here are Rorr, Shyntiir and Ilztvyll! My boy is the edgy looking plague doc ;D

I finally drew Areel’s frillback pigeon, Macaroni! It was the winning choice in the poll, which was suggested by Metzger. I needed something fast and cute for today, and I figured out the pigeon was a good choice. Anyways, this bird’s sole life purpose is to be incredibly cuddly. It’s also a good anxiety relief! I’ll be honest, the best thing I’ve picked up from the quarantine is a newfound love for all things pigeon.

Local lesbian goes feral, more at 4am-- I mean! Here she is, done! This is Laestis, a kalashtar rogue/warlock (swashbuckler/hexblade). She's one of the PCs in the campaign I DM, and I just love her way too much. She's normally quite anxious, but I felt like doing a more confident-looking drawing of her. Or maybe I was just possessed by the need of drawing a woman with a sword- Also, the sword is her Pact Weapon! She obtained it recently. It reeks of Vest.

Finished a big long due piece with Arcien Yu’Yden, my tiefling wizard! Who for once lost their exemplar smile and got way more angry than usual.

Tried a different sort of shading and coloring here. Much more solid, pretty neon overall!

A little friend from the When Reality Bleeds project! I still have a few pictures to share, including most monster designs and the enviroments. This one here was meant to be a sort of mid-boss flavored creature: Big enough to stand out of the crowd of body horror, but still not the biggest threat.

It’s named Proboscis and it’s all about eating. The slug-half of the body has a similar texture to a tongue. It’ll eat anything made out of flesh, which it can quickly absorb and adapt to it’s own body, or use to heal up wounds. Despite it’s sort of undead nature, it’s fleshy, moist and it isn’t rotting. But don’t worry, it still smells like guts!

And finally, quite late compared to all the early birds, but still in time: My Secret Satan for @simonlrfnc of his character, Zai! And talking of birds, look at these feetsies-- I feel like I built this picture around the dagger. When I saw that neon teal weapon, I just knew I had to make it shine. And damn, this picture ended up being pretty neon! It required a bit of posing in front of a mirror with my own dagger to figure out the pose, but I'm pretty happy with the anatomy! It went really smooth, the design was HELLA pleasing to work on. Anyways, on a more general note, I'm really proud of how the Secret Satan is going on this year. Most of the pictures have been turned in and people went all out. I'm always amazed by people who do their best on gifts made for strangers! I'm still updating the sheet as pictures arrive, so make sure to check it out if you want to see everything! Original Character October day 3: Dalshen Derahel, drow paladin 

Dalshen! Those who have followed for a year or so may remember him from the 2019's OC-October. He was the first one I drew in this style, but I considered he had changed enough to warrant a new drawing! He's the first NPC the party carried along on a mission. He actually got them wrapped up in all this drama. He was a knight-in-training at the time, and uh, wanted to solve a case by himself instead of searching his superiors. 

Long story short, the party helped him. He kinda joined along afterwards, as the seemingly innocuous case required further investigation. After a few adventures here and there, he got kidnapped by the baddies the party was pursuing, and... When they found him again, he was trapped in an underground workshop and experimented with. Apparently, they had forced magic corruption on him in hoped to get powerful crystals out of his body. The party managed to save him, but the magical disease is, well, unfixable. Dalshen isn't sure how much time he's left, but he's trying to enjoy whatever is left now. And he finally became a fully fledged knight!

Yesterday's drowgust topic was pact, and I recalled this one WIP I had. Does it still count if the pact-person is of drowic descent? Anyways! I wanted to portray the scene in which the roguelock, Laestis, found out about the other creature dwelling in her mind. She made a pact with her spirit. Vest (as she is a kalashtar), but it seems there is something up there. Someone who knows about said spirit. Someone who, whenever she loses contact with him, it's there to lend a hand. Or two. That being presented itself as Alieae. It appeared on her dream as a pair of giantic hands and a sphere of light as an offering. The first time, she was scared, but desperate to find Vest, and accepted it. The second time she was no longer terrified. She had a job to get done.

Has anyone seen the Minecraft live?? I just, huh, love the design for the Warden quite a lot. I don’t think I’ve done fanart for this game before (and I do very little fanart overall), but I just couldn’t resist. I wonder what’s the deal with them, their palette reminds me a lot of the end portals and ender eyes!

Also, what’s that glowy stuff coming from inside? Infinite love for bunnies, probably.

Hey, here’s a new reference for my drow necromancer character, Ilztvyll Arken’rret! He’s one of the guys I made around 2015ish, and while he didn’t get as much use as Ailanthus or Vest, he’s finally making a comeback!

In this new place, he’s actually got a bit tamer powers, and poses as a plague doctor to cover up the fact he’s an elf, which are seen very badly. He cares little about actually helping people, and instead enjoys how easy is it to slip poison into someone’s glass when people trusts you to heal! He is still very much being the same awful man than he’s always been. 

At least, in this new version, he is doing his best to ensure little Velanzus -his son, adopted by Ailanthus, since Ilzt is an awful dad- is being raised cozily.

A very self indulgent drawing to finish the year! Vest has this quirk that is all about stealing clothes from friends. If you leave a coat unattended, he'll subtly pick it up and wear it. Here, he took Laestis' own attire (hence the flannel). Unknowingly to him, Lae already knows he'll steal them so she buys them on his size ;D This is another Modern AU piece. Laestis and Vest are warlock and patron in DnD, and he has no physical body, so they don't get to hang out nicely. This AU is a good way to get more lighthearted RP going! (oh, as a sidenote, that pigeon is Noodles- Again! Very important)
