Daily Scripture Text:
*"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." - Psalm 46:10*
Commentary:
This verse from Psalm 46 reminds us of the power and sovereignty of God. In the midst of chaos and turmoil, it calls us to find peace and reassurance in God's presence. Being still before God allows us to acknowledge His authority over all things and to trust in His divine plan. It reminds us that God will ultimately be exalted, and His glory will be known throughout the world.
Questions :
1. How do you find stillness and peace in your relationship with God?
2. What areas of your life do you need to surrender control to God and trust in His sovereignty?
3. How can you actively exalt God in your daily life and interactions with others?
Prayer:
Dear Lord, in the midst of life's chaos, help us to find stillness and peace in your presence. Teach us to trust in your sovereignty and to surrender control of our lives to you. May we exalt you in all that we do, bringing glory to your name. Amen.

“Regardless of age, stage in life, or circumstances, God will help all who wholeheartedly trust Him. In Jesus, our Savior who helps us, God was made visible. The Gospel books inspire faith in God through what we see in Christ. He demonstrated God’s care and compassion for all who looked to Him for help. As the writer of Hebrews acknowledged, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid” (Hebrews 13:6). Young or old, weak or strong, bound or free, sprinting or limping—what’s keeping us from asking for His help today?”

The Secret To Success
“Be strong and very courageous. Obey all the laws Moses gave you. Do not turn away from them, and you will be successful in everything you do. Study this book of the law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed.” Joshua 1:7-8

God told Joshua that in order to succeed, he needed to study the Word and do what it says. Success starts by making the Bible the main focus of your life. Wake up with the Word and go to bed with the Word. Meditate on it day and night. Listen to it in your car or on your phone.

So many people today are living with a “just get by” mentality. You don’t have to live like a worm undeserving of anything good. The Bible never says we are not supposed to hope and believe in anything great for our lives. God is the God of more than enough, so stop living in fear.

The decision to make God’s Word your main priority will make you strong, courageous, and successful and even impact future generations. Joshua had no idea at the time that his decision to walk according to God’s Word would leave such a lasting impact on his descendants, but it did. God will open doors for you that no man can close when His Word leads you. When you step into God’s will, you step into the supernatural, and He will start to bring success into your life in ways you could never have imagined.

THE GOD OF PEACE
by Chris Oyakhilome
Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen (Romans 15:33).
In the Old Testament, God was often called the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. However, in the New Testament, particularly in the epistles, God is known, more than anything else, as the God of peace. He’s called the God of peace more than He’s called the God of love or the God of righteousness. We see this referenced in Philippians 4:9: “…the God of peace shall be with you,” and in 1 Thessalonians 5:23: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly….”
The word “peace” is from the Greek “Eirene”, which is akin to “Shalom” in Hebrew; it’s peace with prosperity. This is God’s desire for all men. No wonder the angels declared in Luke 2:14: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” Think about it! He brought peace between us and Him: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
The chaos experienced in some parts of the world today didn’t happen by chance. They were inspired by demons of chaos who thrive in chaos. They use chaos as a tool for perpetrating their nefarious schemes through their human hosts and keep at it until people bow to their wishes. But God wants peace and tells us to proclaim peace to the nations.
In the prayer He tells us to pray for all men, His intent is that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life (1 Timothy 2:1-2). That’s what He wants us to have. He’s always about peace. Even now, command peace for your city and your country. Declare in the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus that godly peace that brings liberty, grace, strength, health, and prosperity will hold sway in your nation.
PRAYER
Righteous Father, you’re the God of peace, and I proclaim your peace upon my nation. Your peace, which passes all understanding and brings liberty, grace, strength, health, and prosperity holds sway in all nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
1 Timothy 2:1-2 - I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. Jeremiah 29:7 - Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” John 14:27 -  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid..

Matthew 16:24 “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.'” 📖 Reflection A Call to Self-Denial Matthew 16:24 is a clarion call to true discipleship, where self-denial, sacrifice, and a daily commitment to following Christ are paramount. “In a world that promotes self-gratification and self-preservation, we can be tempted to hoard instead of living with giving hearts. However, the Bible says that a person who “gives freely . . . gains even more” (Proverbs 11:24). Our culture defines prosperity as having more and more and more, but the Bible says that “a generous person will prosper” and “whoever refreshes others will be refreshed” (v. 25).
God’s unlimited and unconditional love and generosity continually recharge us. We can each have a giver’s heart and create unending giving cycles because we know God—the Giver of all good things—never gets tired o providing abundantly.”

"The grass wither and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."--Isaiah 40:3
This verse is as important as it is well-known, even more so. Last April I used it in a devotional about trusting in the Lord during hard times. You can read the devotional here:

Fear-Lies
We casually entertain thoughts of assumption, speculation, presupposition and these untruth's disrupt the flow of our life courage and lead us by fear-lies. We should change this up. Keenly listen up to the truth in this post: Fear-Lies! God bless ya.
We call (pray for) every lie to be revealed and every lie holding us captive to be destroyed by the blood of Jesus. Ephesians 1:19-23 and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength which He produced in Christ when He raised Him…

Book Review: Knowing God
Book Review: Knowing God
Knowing Godby J.I. Packer 5 out of 5 stars This book examines the attributes of God and how we can truly know God in a personal way. It begins by outlining the type of attitudes we should have in approaching God with humility and a desire to know the truth. The second part of the book focuses on the attributes of God in His unchanging Triune nature- His majesty, wisdom, love, grace, wrath,…
