On the same day, RQ patrons got a code in the weekly Patreon round up

RQ Twitter posts a tweet with an image of a cassette tape with the same code as had been given to the patrons: U3RhdGVtZW50IFJlbWFpbnMK

Using base64, the code comes out to “Statement Remains”

The RQ insta also posted this image to their story:

Which, if you take the image as binary code, comes out to “Are you still listening?”

A new code was also posted to RQ patrons, and will be added here if/when it is publicly released.

EDIT: There were strings of text added to the episode description of Goodbye for Now in the TMA feed, which when translated through Base32 and then Base64 read: "this one was an accident. sorry -_-"

Apparently the Patreon code from yesterday led people wildly off-course, because they gave another hint today to solve it. Again, going to keep the specifics of that off this post bc patreon, but know that in the end, it leads to the same place as what is below.

Also, Fay Roberts, who played Daisy Tonner in TMA, tweeted

338 words - Prompt: Silence

When the ultimate betrayal had taken place, all that was left was silence.

The rubble of the home that had once contained joyful, gurgling laughter, that had been filled to the brim with only the lightest and warmest of magic, that had been swarmed with spells of the protective kind, nothing less than a horror scene now. One that caused chills of the worst sort to run up and down your spine, that made you feel sick, that caused you to lose any final stray strand of faith left in your heart.

A young man - barely older than twenty - stared up unseeing - glasses cracked, hair standing up on all ends - at the ceiling, wand having fallen from his fingers, which reached in its direction still. His body blocked the stairs, yet his act of protection had not done what he had hoped.

Up the stairs, in a child’s bedroom, lay a similarly aged redhead on her side, her eyes closed, the colour of her hair a stark contrast to the spectral one of her skin. She was so beautiful even in everlasting sleep that one could be forgiven to think she might wake up from her slumber soon.

Next to her sat a little boy, staring - wide-eyed - at the female figure beside him, two of his fingers lingering at the corner of his mouth, tips of them having just slid from between his lips, before he reached over, patting her cold cheek with his little palm, a soft noise that was a mixture of “mamma” and “dadda” escaping him.

Nothing met his gesture but the silence that hung like a shroud over the house and after a few additional nudges, a crawling over on all fours, he nestled his tiny body against the woman’s, a soft wail escaping him.

For a long time, all there was left was silence, but then the sound of a motorbike interrupted its peace and quiet, sounds of desperate grief soon overtaking the stillness that had followed death.

Thirteen/Amy/Rory fic update (pt. 53)

And here we have Hide, ft. Amy and Rory still trying to figure out their relationship with Thirteen, them finally meeting Clara, Amy piloting the TARDIS again but only after having to face the TARDIS' voice interface which takes the face of a ghost, Clara revealing some of her backstory/how River got out of the library database, the return of Orpheus/Eurydice references, and Thirteen finally dropping a few of the devastating details of what happened between the time the Doctor left Victorian London and when he reunited with Amy and Rory at the Planet Sanatorium.

Basically: it's a story about three time-travelling ghosts haunting the narrative despite them all being alive.

First things first, I'm gonna need Gen V to never fucking do that again. How dare they release such a good episode and only have it be 34 minutes??? Is it a fucking sitcom??? They do that again and we WILL have problems.

Now, Cate. I done told y'all she was the mole and now look. I mean do I still love her? Absolutely. Do I think she is a victim of Dean Shetty's manipulations? 100%. Do I believe she thought she was protecting her friends? Yup. But do I also think Andre was right somewhat in what he said? Yeah, kinda do. Listen, with all the good intentions in the world the fact that she repeatedly made Luke forget about his baby brother when she knew the type of turmoil it was causing in him is twisted. The same way she was going to confess to Andre before the text came is the same way she should have confessed to Luke. Granted I think the reason she was even going to confess to Andre was because of how wrong things were going. But still, she ain't right for that..

So, I see three possible avenues they might take with her: first, kill her off at the end of the season in order to redeem herself to her friends; second, she could become an antagonist to the group (tho this is less likely); or third, she may act as a double agent and spy back on shetty so they can find out what's really going on..

Jordan Li. My beloved. My baby boy/baby girl. I can understand why they thought Marie couldn't accept both sides of them and I'm so glad they explored a bit more into their character's history. But baby, Marie wants to love on you no matter what your gender so just let her!!! At least they got to a point where they realised they were being unfair to Marie over the whole situation though, so hopefully episode 6 will have them talking about it properly. Alsooooo, Jordan getting pissed when Marie's brain was tampered with again? Good fucking food. Jordan moving closer to Marie at Cate's reveal? I was eating that shit upppp. Jordan this whole episode was kinda unhinged and you know what? I wanna see more, please and thank you!!!

Alsoooo, can we talk real quick about Jordan's conversation with Andre and Cate because I cannot have been the only one who was straight dyingggg through it. "is it a black thing?" "...oh my God!!!". The way Jordan didnt even dismiss the fact that him and Marie made a good couple too. Likeeeee. C'monnnnn.

Marie, my sweet girl. Once she finds out the true extent of her powers its over for everyoneeeee; she's gonna fuck everyone up and I personally will be cheering her on at the sidelines!! Slightly worried though because 1) who is her benefactor?? and 2) what if they are able to capture her somehow??? She is yet to go unhinged and I would like to see it, especially if it's in relation to something happening to Jordan.

Emma and Sam. I mean you know its real when one half of the pairing's mind has been wiped and still there is an undeniable connection between them.The fact that Sam went out of his way to find Emma after all the shit that went down??? Ooof, I'm living for itttt. The fact that even though Emma hadn't gotten back her memories she still believed him? Don't make me cryyyyy. I loved how Emma realised how wrong her mother was about her "getting big" & how she's beginning to carve out who she wants to be for herself. Also, her and Marie's friendship is honestly just goals.

Also, lowkey everyone should have just let Sam kill that Dr Cardosa because he's gonna bring big problemssss I fear, and on that note they should have him kill Dean Shetty too because ole girl needs to skedaddle her way out (although the person who takes her place could be even worse, so idk about that yet)

Also, someone please give Andre a hug that boy needs it. Seeing him unhinged tho?? Ooofffffff 10/10.

"Yes," Buck growls out, voice sharp as the knives embedded in Eddie's chest. "Yeah, Eddie, I really fucking do because I was the one that had to tell him that you'd been shot."

Eddie laughs. Its a broken sound, animalistic and rough and sounding only like a laugh echoing halfway across the galaxy. A wet laugh, edges razor sharp with bitter irony, corners like spears of desperate loneliness. He wants to grab Buck by the face and make him understand. Make him understand that the comparison of those situations is an admission of Buck's place in Christopher's life. Make him understand what Buck has never quite been able to grasp fully.

"Once," Eddie says instead. "Once. Imagine doing that five times within the last six months. Over and over and over. Watching his little face crumple like that first time when we didn't know if you'd ever wake up, listening to him begging to see you even if you've already been sent home because he doesn't quite believe that you aren't gonna disappear like his mom." Its too much, too much all at once, and Buck's mouth falls open like he hadn't been expecting it. A chink in his armour. Eddie exploits it. "He's terrified, Buck. And you just keeping throwing yourself into danger like he doesn't care about you."

"I know he cares," Buck argues hoarsely.

"Do you?" Eddie pushes, eyes dropping to the tense line of Buck's shoulders. "Do you? Because I think that if you did, if you knew just how much he cared, you wouldn't be ignoring harnesses and risking your life for a Walmart bunny."

"You know as well as I do that toys mean a lot to kids—"

"They're valuable, yes," Eddie concedes. "But not at the cost of a life, Buck." Not your life. "Does Christopher even cross your mind when you free climb down a cliff?"

"Of course he does!" Buck clenches his hands in the pillow he drags into his lap, unable to do anything else to purge his anger. "It was a little boy I was climbing down for, Eddie! You don't think I was thinking of Christopher?"

"I don't think you were thinking of him in the right way," Eddie snaps, pushing himself up from the armchair and pacing the floor in front of the coffee table.

"And how should I have been thinking of him, Eddie?" Buck's voice turns cold and emotionless in a way that sends a shudder down his spine. "In terms and conditions? In legal fine print? In the event of your death? Is that how I should have been thinking of him? As his back-up plan?"

"Back-up plan?" Eddie stares down at him incredulously, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.

i know good omens isn't that kind of a hardcore religious fiction show, but i would actually kill to see "in the beginning" scene with our angels in their biblically accurate forms. aziraphale as a principality/cherubim and angel!crowley as a seraphim/dominion/throne, with david and michael on the voiceover dialogue and the special effects team doing the stylised 3D animation. it would give so much depth and context to their human performances, you could never forget what they really are. it'd be a spiritual experience. and also, done right, the most hauntingly beautiful thing i'd ever see on screen

can you just imagine those ethereal eldritch horrors at the edge of the universe going look at you, you're gorgeous and beaming at each other. can you imagine crowley's thousands of eyes crinkling with delight, his rings of power moving like gearshifts, 6-pairs-or-so wings fluttering in excitement almost knocking aziraphale's form over. and aziraphale gazing up on him like he's not only hung up the stars, but like he outshines all of them. i just. god.
