I love how we call Annabel and Lenore wives/married in spite of them being killed literally at their wedding like Annabel’s spectre is specifically “an entity who died suddenly before she was to be wed” and we’re all collectively like. Ahah. No. Theyre wives. Married. hate crime homicide I dont know her. Look at them, they’re divorcing, you can’t divorce someone if you aren’t married to them. Beat that. you can’t. loser.
i would say lenore and Annabel being married is a canon event but this whole post is specifically about how its not canon and ignoring the canon so. lenore liked it and put a ring on it.

WAIT.
So there's that scene towards the beginning of the game where Kenshi facetiously tells Johnny to bet Sento on Raiden/Kung Lao's fight. And Johnny says, "Not on your life." Right?
Then Johnny gives him Sento and says "You saved my life. It's yours," when Kenshi protests.
Not only does the wording of that suggest the "It's yours" part could be about Johnny's life. But Johnny also sees him and Kenshi's lives as inextricably intertwined. Johnny lost Sento by putting a bet on his own life, in a way. He would have lost that "bet" if not for Kenshi. So although it may not have been on Kenshi's life, their lives are so indivisible that they're essentially one.

Analysis: The track in Loki S2E6 (at 45:25) begins with Mobius telling B-15 “They need you in there”.
She asks him if he’s scared to leave the TVA and being out in the real world to which he replies, “Yes.”
His feet scuff the word, “Time”, from the TVA floor plaque. Good riddance. Or perhaps, a thank you.
A turning of the page.
We see the TVA War Room filled with employees, a stark contrast to before, when it was only a few employees who were allowed to be in there— this shows that B-15 achieved her glorious purpose, as did the TVA and its employees.
OB beams with pride at his newly written TVA handbook. His glorious purpose is to live out the sci-fi fantasy book that his timeline self always wrote about. Maybe one day his timeline self will be able to be a successful author too.
Of course, this song is bittersweet…
Ravonna wakes up at the Void, alone, and has to face the consequences of choosing power over love, which is what ultimately led to her downfall. She doesn’t realize that a pruned TVA plaque is at her feet. It’s assumed that she meets Alioth, destroyer of time— or maybe someone else who will get her out of there. She puts on a brave face.
Victor Timely, we assume has had his timeline restored. His younger self never receives the TVA handbook. He can be considered a sleeper agent. Or, a man who will only ever dream of power. He might not get it, but at least he will still have love of discovery and his humanity.
The score stops when Don (timeline Mobius) is in the frame with his kids. Mobius watches them.
The stopping of the score can mean two things. Someone (Loki) is listening. Or, this is not Mobius’ glorious purpose— it’s the absence of it. Maybe it’s both.
Sylvie is there too. Mobius asks her, “Where will you go?” She’s off, in search of free will. Glorious purpose.
This scenes show us the aftermath of Loki’s sacrifice and uses the track to guide us.
The track is called “Purpose Is Glorious.” Meaning, the purpose is in fact glorious. Duh.
But that contradicts what S1 Mobius says to S2 Loki and the advice that Loki takes to heart.
“Most purpose is more burden than glory. And trust me, you never wanna be the guy who avoids it ‘cause you can’t live with the burden.”
Implying, Mobius refused his glorious purpose as a TVA agent and now he lived with the consequences.
We are to believe that Loki’s glorious purpose is more of a burden than a glory. And even his sad glazed eyes at the end shows us this too. He’s not happy to be there per se…
But it is Loki’s glorious purpose. And it’s a burden. But, this is the god who spent centuries trying to find a way. And had they known earlier that there was only one way, they would’ve done it first thing.
This was always Loki’s glorious purpose. And it sucked and it wasn’t fair but dammit, the love they had for Mobius and the others made it glorious.
Everyone would get to live, Mobius would get a second chance.
And there was so much glory in that. Because Loki’s friends would never be a burden.
Mobius could never be a burden.
Mobius was the most glorious purpose anyone could ask for. And he belonged to Loki.

In my opinion one of the biggest byler proofs isnt in the show, or even anything an actor has said. Its the fact that Stranger Things, at its core, is a show about outcasts. Always has been. It was never meant for the straight white rich people.
I’m not saying El hasn’t been through a tremendous amount of trauma, she has, but (and I understand if not everyone agrees) she isn’t an outcast, at least not until season 4. She’s different and special because of her powers, but there’s nothing about her otherwise that would make her an outcast, in fact I think if everyone knew about her powers, she would probably be very popular. Whereas the things that make the others outcasts, (homosexuality, race, disability, tomboyish) are things they would never be popular for in that time period.
El is not relatable In an “outcast” sense, the audience the show was made for can not relate to her in the same ways they might relate to the other kids, because none of us (at least I don’t think, I actually believe in psychic powers bc I’m a nutcase but I digress) have psychic powers, but plenty of us are lgbtq+, black, disabled, tomboyish, etc.
Which leads me to the point, if byler isn’t endgame, Mike is not really an outcast either except by association with his friends. Why would two straight, white, non relatable characters end up being the main endgame couple in a show literally made for outcasts. It wouldn’t make any sense at all.
People forget that this show was literally made for us, it just ended up becoming popular with the normies, it was never really for them and that’s why so many of them only watch for Mike and El and can’t understand the cues and hints towards byler, because they don’t have the mindset the show was created for.

The Confrontation in Les Mis (or Authority Gains Its Power as the chapter is called in the book) is such an interesting scene to me because so many adaptations present it in a way that I can’t decide if it’s wrong or just strange. Various adaptations add an element of physical aggression to it that is not present in the original scene. Essentially my problem with that is that I find it unnecessary. Exactly what any violence could communicate in this scene could easily be communicated without it. More specifically, it could be communicated more artfully without violence.
What’s intriguing about this scene is the power dynamic between Valjean and Javert and how it shifts throughout. It starts with Javert in complete control, not because he could physically overpower Valjean (which he couldn’t), but because he has the law on his side. It is fully within his rights to arrest a lawbreaker. He mostly maintains this control of the scene through the authority given to him by the government. But when control briefly shifts to Valjean, it isn’t gained through actual violence. True, he threatens Javert, but that’s the extent of it. We know he’s been able to fend off Javert because he is able to give himself a moment to address Fantine. Nothing else was required to communicate this. Additionally, a threat of violence from Valjean is intimidating enough on it’s own partially because he uses this tactic so sparingly.
Portrayals of violence in media have a very straightforward purpose, to show how an attacker gains power of someone else, even if that power is short lived. But that power is represented very plainly by physical strength, meaning that it doesn’t always effectively portray other implications and nuances of a situation. But whether this is the case for violence in Les Mis or not, I mostly don’t like it for its lack of subtlety. It often feels like action for the sake of action rather than because it would genuinely portray the themes of power and authority better. It ups the stakes to some extent, but not in a way that’s especially meaningful. The stakes of the scene were already high enough, in my opinion.
I’m gonna see if I can sum this is up succinctly. If you ask me, when a scene already effectively deals with themes of power, there is no reason to add an element that involves those themes but only in a more visceral and frustratingly straightforward way.

Yay! Thank you for answering!
Okay, so I know you said you haven't given it much thought yet, but I wondering about Alejandro, Rudolfo, and Valeria's relationship with each other.
So, you know how all three of them were in the Mexican army together and A and R feel betrayed by Valeria for turning? How would that work with Packs in your story?
I know they were in different units in the army, but there was still supposed to be loyalty between them, right? So, for example, if they were in the same pack, and Alpha Valeria chose to leave, how would that work?
Like, if Alejandro and Rudolfo weren't specifically bonded to her, but they were in the same pack and had a pack bond, and then Valeria abandoned the pack for whatever reason- is that a thing that can happen, or are pack bonds for life?
I know this would never happen, but if Ghost decided he wanted to leave with Soap and have a separate pack, how would that work? Would the other members be passed?
(Now that I think about it, this is giving me Breaking Dawn vibes woth the packs splitting lol)
I hope this makes sense. Sorry if it didn't.
Sorry, I had to snort at the Breaking Dawn part lmaoo!! It makes perfect sense!!
But that absolutely can happen. It does happen.
Packs can split for a lot of reasons. Sometimes circumstances force them apart. Think military packs, where members are constantly getting reassigned places, moving bases, etc. Those tend to be less intense type of bonds versus what like TF141 has, because they're a specialized team that was created and it's less likely one of them would be leaving to be assigned somewhere else. Those kinds of bonds tend to be more camaraderie/friendship based than what we see in the story. (We will get a glimpse at a pack like that in the future.)
In the civilian world, packs might split because of jobs. In larger packs with several alphas, they might hold different jobs at different places and if one alpha has to move, then they might split off into separate packs, but that doesn't mean that they've permanently split. An alpha might take a beta or two and an omega with them and become sort of a satellite pack to the one with the pack alpha. They'd still be considered bonded, even if they're in different places.
Packs can actually fracture and split because of other reasons, usually due to some sort of tension within the pack, inner fighting, betrayal, or even just unbalanced dynamics. If you have three alphas in a pack and one omega? That can cause some issues down the line if there's unbalanced dynamics between the three alphas. The alphas may fight with each other over the omega and that can cause a fracture in the pack bond and lead to one or maybe even two leaving. (This is why betas are so important to pack dynamics.)
Valeria leaving as it happens in canon would cause some disruption as it did just in canon because that's a big betrayal and I think everyone that considered her an ally is going to feel that regardless. That's someone you thought you could trust, someone you thought was on your side. Now if they had all been in the same pack, they'd probably feel it a lot more. Even if they weren't particularly close, they're still going to feel that fracture in the pack bond and the sudden shift in dynamics.
Bonds transcend just being close to someone, there's emotional and physical ties in there that aren't really understood completely. When bonds are broken, there's actual physical pain involved, even for those that weren't particularly close to the one that causes it.
If Ghost wanted to leave, he technically could without fracturing the bond. As I stated above, he could basically become a sort of satellite pack and exist on his own, while still being under Price. If he wanted to leave the pack completely and fracture the bond, he could, though that would be a lot harder and that has to be something you're absolutely sure you want to do. It's a hard decision on all fronts, but sometimes it's unavoidable.
I hope this answer makes sense, but yeah. That's kind of how that works and how things would play out. 💚

there needs to be a fandom for ateez lore.
not for the members themselves as real people but for the FICTIONAL versions found in the diaries.
i need people to start making angst edits and fan fictions about the fictional characters the idols portray in the diaries.
yunho is one of the most tragically emotional characters ever and he’s trapped in an amazing kpop group’s lore.. the character deserves a fandom as well as the member!!
i want people to make strickland-sonas and have head canons!!

The post going around about the gatekeepy tiktok video has had a couple of really good additions written by other users. I know I already reblogged it about learning so I wont reblog it again. The other additions have given me a few more thoughts on the topic so I'll put them here in my own post. Personally, I'm a spiritual therian right down to the stereotypical past life. But it's not THAT simple for me. I felt like I've had at least more than one past life as an equine that's had an impact on me now. It's also because I think that past life reincarnated into the wrong body. Like I was supposed to be a horse again and somewhere the soul wires got crossed and ended up in the wrong animal's body. But I also happen to have ADHD. As much stock as I put into the spiritual origins of my therianthropy there is zero doubt in my mind that being neurodivergent hasn't played a role in it as well. ADHD comes with the tendency to hyperfixate on things. Not just that "in the moment hyperfocus". Biology has been one of those subjects for me and it all started with a fixation with horses. I literally do not remember a time in my life when I wasn't interested in learning about, wanting to be around, or even desiring to be an equine. I do believe the fixation on horses stems from said misplaced soul, though. The spiritual aspect feeds into the psychological. I probably wouldn't have found my theriotype as easily if the horse energy hadn't been wired into an ADHD brain that chose to fixate on something familiar. Even though I do think the neurodivergency plays a part I still don't consider myself a psychological therian because I don't feel as though the ADHD alone is the origin for mine.
I haven't watched the tiktok video. All I have for context is that screenshot of the text. It's obvious that psychological therianthropy is confusing for them to understand so past lives seemed like a more straightforward explanation. Unfortunately nothing about spirituality is simple once you start to explore and question things about it and yourself. It, too, can be just as complicated as a psychological origin and moreso when they intertwine.

Caya discussions... I'm seated 👩‍🏫
I've always wondered about Louis' internal process when he came to ny after Harry. When did he decide he was gonna go for it? What would he do if Harry never showed up to the bookstore?
i feel like i won't explain this well, but by chp 19/20, louis is in a constant state of wanting to be with harry. like in his heart, he's already determined that's what he wants (even if in his head, he's also determined that he can't have him).
so, during the time that they spend apart, louis wants to be with him. there are several things that keep him from pursuing him. his grief, his trauma, even his writing. once he starts the work of processing all of that and begins to heal, i think as the sort of logical methodical person he is, the next and obvious step to him is to see harry and try talking things through again. it's not like he ever has like a change of heart or he sees the light. it's more so like his life is a puzzle he's slowly putting back together and harry is the final and most important missing piece. i feel like his thought process simply put would be "i feel better than i have in years and well enough to tell him how i feel."
this is just how i understand caya louis at least. and it's why i never wrote a eureka moment where louis perhaps has a conversation with someone who tells him to go after harry or something like that. i really just feel like it was always clear to louis that he wanted to be with harry and should be with harry but he had some work to do before that could ever feel possible.
i think if harry never showed up at the bookstore, louis would have just kept waiting and hoping for a opportunity to see him. he probably would have reached out to harry's mum again lol... it's like he wrote in his book: only harry's love would do. so whether he saw him at the bookstore or not, he definitely wouldn't have given up on having that love again.
edit: okay, just to quickly add to this, i think caya louis does see the light, but it's more so related to him realizing that he can heal and he can be better and that he's worthy of love. but not related to him wanting to be with harry vs not. i feel like there's a distinction there. again, this is so hard to articulate for some reason.

Genderfluid Sirius Black
in the fandom rn there seems to be a large group of people who are head cannoning Sirius and genderfluid (something i myself head cannon) whilst there is nothing wrong with this the problem lies in those who are now using this head cannon as an excuse to overly feminise Sirius.
Now pls before the reply finish reading what i'm about to say. there is nothing, and i mean nothing wrong with liking a feminine Sirius or head cannoning Sirius as trans, those people are not who this post is directed at. this post is aimed at those who head cannon Sirius as genderfluid and refuse to acknowledge what genderfluid is.
gender fluid is when someone's gender is not fixed. it can change whether that is daily or over a longer period of time. lots of people are head cannoning Sirius as genderfluid but then not recognising that that means they wouldn't always be feminine. somedays he might be more masculine or other she may be more feminine.
i really hope i've made sense
