#Monet A. Claude
The Betrayal
“Strange. How one moment everything is fine and happy… but a new chapter can’t ever start without a tragedy.”
It’s Monet’s BDAY! I give you pain and lore~
The betrayal for Monet was… not pretty, she was tracked, hunted down and nearly brutally murdered had she not fallen into a river and gotten help.
A hooded friendly, weird old looking gondolier Monet named Charon manage to take her to a small village but instead of giving payment like one typically does.
He gave her a knapsack; filled with her favorite book, sewing supplies and most importantly… the money she got for her journey to Eridia.
She had her next objective.

I’m bored…
So a question for my Touchstarved MCs~
How do your touchstarved MCs view the light? Like… how would they respond to this question?
what does the light mean to you?
Monet
The light for her means… safety. Warmth. Being seen, not harshly exposed, but just… gently seen and still worth being cared for warmly. She knows most people hide, shun or even have disdain for it because it’s typically the opposite, especially as a thief. But Monet can’t help but find comfort in it, knowing the light gives a certain warmth and serenity to a person…
Keiki
The light for Keiki means rebirth. Not necessarily a new life in a physical sense but to a way of living. Something new. And hopefully, something brighter.
Rosamie
For Rosamie, the light means danger. Always did. Be it the sun, the artificial spotlight or holding the gaze of people watching her every move. There's also a heat to it that she can't explain, as if she's being burned when focused on but... that's something she could never explain the feeling of.
