Chapter 6

Understanding the enemy

We were waiting outside of the principals office since the headmistress was talking to Billy and mine parental guardians.I was pretty nervous.

After all my parental guardian is Uncle howdy and the only reason I was in this school was because I was supposed to be Rosie’s ‘personal maid’ not starting a fight. When I glanced at Mr Billy Hensletter he seemed more nervous then me.

But before I could say anything about it the headmistress called me and Billy into the office. We both got inside the office.

While our guardians were stepping up I could see uncle howdy glaring at me angrily.When we got inside the office.The office had a dark but friendly aesthetic.

There were a lot posters of those famous horror movies, The ceiling was full of Glow in the dark stars, and on the desk was a fake skeleton head and a green crystal ball.

We sat down at the chairs in front of us. While The principal was scolding us for are actions.

I noticed that Billy was holding his left wrist very tightly.

“Maybe it’s a habit” I thought. Some time later we were finally let go.

“When we got out Uncle Howdy had grabbed my wrist and dragged me far away from the office then he started yelling at me.

“How can you this?!” “You’re a disgrace!” “You idiot!”

And many more hurtful words that I would rather not say.

I just stood there silent taking it all in.While he yelled at me we heard a loud thud!

We came close to where the sound was and it was a…“Monster!”

A random student yelled. The monsterThis was real a real monster

.(Author note: hey the monster in the story is the future Bucky but even tho I tried my best I couldn’t turn his clothes into a suit since I’m bad at dijital art so please imagine future Bucky monster.)

When I turned at Uncle Howdy he was running for to save himself and he forgot about me. I sighed since it wasn’t new.

Then I remembered the mask. “Shoot I forget it at the mansion” I remembered.

I quickly ran back to the Wenirmen mansion. When I came I immediately ran to my room. I searched for the mask when I finally found it the ninja nomicon shine a red light.

Maybe it was calling for me. “I don’t have time for this but what if it’s important.” With thoughts like this I opened the book.

As I opened my eyes I found myself falling from the sky.

While I was falling there were words explaining something called a stank and how turn monster back to human.

Basically you have to destroy the monster’s most prized possession to turn them back to normal.

Then I landed on the ground. When I looked up.

There was First ninja fighting with a dragon the fight was intense.

I didn’t know what do then watching.

Then First ninja won the battle and as he was about to kill the dragon. He spared the dragon “out of pity I guess” I thought to myself.

Then a large samurai came to First ninja to attack him but surprisingly the dragon grabbed the samurai and flew away with the samurai and wrote something in the sky.

“If you manage to understand your enemies they can be your allies”

When I read the message. With a little bit of thinking I realized what it meant.

“No way in the world!,Uh uh, never, there is No way I’m befriend Billy to defeat a monster. I’m the ninja not him. Nope

But before I knew it I found myself in my room again. I quickly took the mask and wore it and I was right I was a kunoichi again.

I quickly went to school. To defeat the monster I need to find the monster’s precious thing. But it was hard when the monster was trying to kill me.

The monster tried to claw me and smash me I had to think of a plan so I ran to the corridor I was running left and right I was running crazy to think of something when I came to a left and right turn I threw a smoke bomb to the right turn. And ran to the left turn instead. Just as I thought the monster turned to the right thinking I was there.

I ran to the nearby classroom to think.

Then I saw a crying Billy.

I didn’t know what to do should I confront him or ignore him.

My mind was saying ignore him. But my Heart was saying confront him and my heart usually was the strongest.

“Hey everything ok?” I asked sitting next to Billy.

Billy looked up and saw me in my suit and asked

“Who are you?”

“The Ninja but Call me Kunoichi if you want. But that’s not important what happened?”

Billy was quiet at first then began to explain “I was called in the office for trying to start a fight. And after that my dad seemed annoyed. When I ask him what was wrong? Then he started crying then a green smoke began to came towards him and then he turned him to a monster. Said Billy continuing to cry.

“You must love your dad” I said to Billy.

“More than everything I owe him my life.” Said Billy

“What do you mean?” I asked

“I was adopted when I was a month old by two dads. One named was Bash and the other one was called Bucky the one who turned into a monster. Bash was a delinquent kid and never studied and so he never went to college. But my dad studied and became a normal businessman. So when they got married and adopted me. They began to arguing and…Bash left us.

“He didn’t visit you or something.” I asked him

“He does but I don’t anything to do with him for he didn’t but my dad Bucky did.”

That’s when I saw Billy’s human side for the first time. Then I remembered the ninja nomicon’s words. “If you manage to understand your enemies they can be your allies” I mumbled to myself. Then I looked at Billy.

“Hey I know you’re worried but I need your help. If you help me your dad will turn back to normal.” I said reassuring voice.

“Really” asked Billy.

“Really” I responded.

“Can you tell me what your dad’s most precious thing he owns as a object.”

“Well…” said then Billy showed me his right wrist showing me a bracelet.

“2 years ago I made this bracelet for me and my dad when I gave it to him he hadn’t taken it off since.” Said Billy with a little smile on his face.

“Ok thanks and Billy”

“Yes ninja?”

“I think you’re pretty good son and a person.” I said then ran out the door.

To face the monster and fought him to cut the bracelet I grabbed my katana and tried slice his bracelet but he wouldn’t let me. Just as I was about be crushed.

“Hey dad I’m over here” someone yelled that someone was Billy.

The monster turned around to see Billy and Billy was distracting it. This was my chance. I grabbed my katana and sliced the bracelet and then the monster started to vanish and turned back to a human again.

“What happened?” Asked Billy’s dad

“Dad you really don’t remember?” Asked Billy with a concerned voice.

“I think it was coming to me now. I was in the principals office because you started a fight.” Bucky Stared at Billy angrily

“What happened then? I asked”

“Well the other person in there was a old classmate of mine and started making fun of me saying how I was a lousy parent and no wonder my husband left me.” Said Mr hensletter said with a sad smile.

I immediately knew who it was “uncle howdy” i mumbled to myself then I said “Mr hensletter sure your son is a bully but he is a kind and a soft person and I think you’re doing a good job raising him” I said both of them seemed happy after I said and soon.

I threw a smoke bomb in the ground and left to the girls bathroom

I quickly took of my mask and put it in my bag then went out.

My friends Rosie,Nyx and Tamie saw me and jumped on me immediately and asked me ton of questions like

“Are you ok?”

“Did the monster did anything to you?”

Questions like that.

And responded “I’m ok guys don’t worry” I reassured them. after that the school just send everyone home.

“So what now? Asked Tamie

“Maybe we could go outside for a stroll” said Nyx

“Good idea” said Rosie

Then we went outside.

We were talking and laughing.

“Such a shame i won’t be able go to high school” I said lowering my head.

“What do you mean?” Asked Rosie.

“I mean Uncle Howdy would never allow me to go back to high school after the fight I tried to start.”

“I don’t think so” said Rosie

“What lie did you tell this time Rosie”

“Actually I didn’t told any lies”

“What do you mean?” Asked Nyx

“Well it started when I found him after the monster was defeated.” started Rosie.

‘Flashback’

(Author note: since this is a flashback Ami won’t be narrating so let just say that Pink is Rosie and black is Howard.)

“Hey bumble bee I need to tell you something about Asi.”

“You mean Ami?”

“Whatever. Anyways about her being your maid.well… she is staying.

“Oh daddy! You can’t fire- Wait what…”

“Yeah sorry honeybee. By the way that new ninja doesn’t she well look familiar?”

“I…”

“Never mind.”

‘End off flashback’

“That is strange” said Tamie

“Yeah Uncle Howdy usually never forgives me out of the blue” I said confused.

“Well maybe we should close this topic let’s not stress about it.” Said Nyx

“Yeah I agree”said Rosie agreeing with Nyx

While we were walking I saw a bracelet store.

“Hey guys I’ll be right back.”

‘Next day at School’

“Hey Billy!” I Said to Billy

“What do you want a round two or something?” Asked Billy annoyed.

“No I just wanted to give you something” then I gave Billy a colorful bracelet.”

Billy seemed confused.

“I overheard your conversation with the ninja yesterday and I felt bad so here is a new bracelet for your dad” I said with a smile.

Billy blushed then looked down and said

“Thank you” quietly

“Your welcome” I said.

“Hey Ami are you coming?!” Rosie asked in a distance.

“Coming” I yelled then waved at Billy and left.

‘Somewhere else’

“Are you sure about this?”

“I’m more then sure about this.”

“Why am I even here? I never agree to this!”

“Don’t worry Mrs your time will be justified by this little project.”

“I just don’t want to hurt her or her friends. besides I’ll never help you!”

“But think about your parents Miss there gone because of the ninja. Just join us and your parents will be averaged.”

“…No my parents deserved to die.”

“Well then I guess we have to go with your daughter”

“What do you mean?”

“Since your daughter is close friends with the ninja I might do something to her”

“Fine… I will join you just not my daughter.”
