#Tenya x reader angst

Note
Hi. So this is my request.
Tenya Iida x reader where the readers parents kick them out because they want to be a hero and are in UA. Then they just show up at Tenyas door in the pouring rain to ask if they could sleep at his house for a night. And Tenya is just so 😠mad. Protective Tenya activated.
so sorry that this took me ages to get out! I had no motivation for months and am finally attending my drafts and rebranding lol! so here's the first of many to come ♡♡
warnings:  emotional abuse, reader is kicked out by their parents, self-deprecating and unhappy thoughts
SFW, fluff, angst but not really, mostly comfort.
Tumblr media
I should have been a doctor, I thought. My clothes clung to my body, skin prickled with goosebumps as I collapsed onto the ground. The unsigned, now drenched, permission form was bunched in my fist, my nails digging into my skin.
“Why would we sign this?” My mother’s voice was ringing through my mind as I recalled tonight’s events. “Just so you to go kill yourself for some dream?”
“Stupid,” I scolded myself. The cold rain only picked up as I began to cry, choked sobs being drowned out by the pouring rain.
“If you don’t want to give up on this silly dream then leave!” My father slammed his fist down on the table as he spoke. “I don’t want some mediocre hero claiming to be my child. Go play hero somewhere else.”
I took a deep breath, eyes shutting tightly to blink away my tears. “This is pathetic,” I said to nobody. My hands rubbed the tears off my face, replacing it with mud from the ground.
I stood, legs tired. I didn’t even think to look at where I was going, just running as fast and far as I could. I looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings, the only light coming from the streetlights. I patted around, luckily smacking something hard and rectangular shaped, my phone.
I pulled it out, 3% battery remaining. Quickly I pulled up my GPS, trying to see where I was and what the closest place to go was. I’d run close to UA, luckily. Perhaps I could see if anyone was still there, although unlikely.
I tried looking around more, finding a familiar street name. Tenya’s street, I thought. Something inside me sank, dreading just showing up at his doorstep, soaking wet with tears and mud staining my cheeks. But it was the only place to go, and I trusted him more than anyone else in my class.
The walk wasn’t very long, but it felt like forever. The rain only worsened, I would definitely be getting sick. By the time I got to Iida’s street, my phone died. I continued, walking up the street and stopping at the mailbox reading IIDA. A light was on inside, I could see in the dining room. Tenya sat there with his family, eating dinner. They were smiling, even laughing as his older brother said something, a huge grin on his face.
I took a deep breath before walking up to their door. I stood for a moment, enjoying the roof over my head before shutting my eyes and raising my fist.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK
I took a step away from their door. Eyes willing themselves to open and hands behind my back, gripping my wrists tightly in anticipation.
A few footsteps came from the otherside before their dark blue door swung open. A woman, blue eyes and black hair, answered with a smile. I opened my mouth for a moment but said nothing. As she studied me, I could see her smile fade lightly and her face contorted into confusion.
Tenya came up behind her, his brother following behind. His blue widened after seeing me, hand going to the woman’s shoulder and leading her out of the way.
“Tenya,” was all I could manage for now. “Hi.”
The girl and Tenya’s brother shared confused looks, then left us alone. Tenya stepped out onto the porch, hand immediately flying to my forehead.
“You’re cold,” he said. “What’re you doing out in this weather?”
“Can I stay here?” I asked him softly, “just for the night.”
His head tilted, eyes focusing on me. “Sure,” his hand slipped into mine before he used the other to open his door again. He pulled me in, shutting the door behind us.
“Stay here,” he told me, gesturing to the welcome mat I stood on. I looked at my feet, wet socks leaving dark wet marks on the fabric. Shit, I thought. Forgot shoes.
The woman peaked from the dining room archway. Tenya’s brother tugging on her shirt, “leave them be, mom.” He whispered. I didn’t look over at them, too embarrassed to look. Instead, I studied the inside of his home. The beautiful stairs leading to the second storey, their living room to the left of me, their dining room on my right. Bookshelves lined their walls, golden trimmed books glittering in the light of their entrance chandelier.
It wasn’t long before Tenya came back, a grey bath towel with him. He put it around my shoulders, telling me to dry off before he disappeared into the dining room. I pulled the warm towel to myself, covering my face with it in embarrassment. My legs started shaking as my thoughts wandered, tears threatening again.
I could hear light whispering from where Tenya had gone, a woman’s voice questioning, then Tenya’s voice answering. I inhaled sharply, willing my arms to move so I could dry off before he came back.
Tenya’s footsteps approached, I kept my gaze limited to the floor, my hair blocking the view of anything else, rain lightly dripping down to the mat. I felt my cheeks burning.
“Come upstairs,” his voice was calm, understanding. “You need to get out of those clothes, take a bath.”
I only nodded and let his hand grip mine, letting him guide me upstairs, turning a few corners and into his bathroom.
“I’m going to start a bath, okay?” He waited for my nod before turning on the water.”Feel this, tell me if it’s too hot.”
I stepped towards the bathtub and reached my hand into the water, “it’s good.”
He sat on the edge of the bathtub while it filled up, hand still in the stream of water to regulate the temperature.
“Do you wanna tell me why you’re here?” He asked. His voice was soft, not an ounce of annoyance or grievance coming out.
“I was kicked out,” I spoke. “No more home for me, I guess.” The light chuckle that left my lips turned to a sob and I quickly breathed deep to stop the impending breakdown from happening.
“What?” His voice now sounded slightly angry, but still filled with kindness. “Why would your parents do this?”
I didn’t say anything, still trying to hold back my tears. I only shrugged my shoulders pathetically as an answer, and he turned the tap off and stood up.
“Take a quick bath, you can use anything you’d like in here. I’ll wait outside so just knock once you’re done and I’ll bring you some clean clothes, okay?”
I nodded again, then he left. I let the tears fall from my eyes the moment the door shut. The towel fell from my shoulders and I sniffled back as I peeled the clothes off my body. Stepping into the steaming water, skin tingling as it enveloped me, I finally let myself cry. The water smelt of my favourite scent, something I assumed Tenya added while filling the tub.
I dipped down, fully submerging myself into the water and coming back up for air. I curled into a ball, arms reaching for the bottles of soaps and creams on the tub corners. I started reading what they were through blurry eyes.
Birch scented shampoo and conditioner, moisturizing body wash, shea butter body scrub. I used the scrub, rubbing it up my arms and silently crying.
I took a long bath, testing out every product on his bathtub. I heard his brother come to say goodnight to him, asking if I was okay and then leaving once Tenya told him I would be. His mother came to say goodnight with his father, asking what was wrong and asking if I would be here for breakfast tomorrow morning.
After a while, the water had turned cold and the bathroom smelt like a mix of Tenya. I reached into the tub, pulling its plug and reaching for the towel. I dried my feet off first, stepping onto the tiled floor and then rubbing the rest of my body until it was slightly dry, no longer dripping everywhere.
I walked up to the door, giving it three light taps.
“Can I come in for a moment?” Tenya’s voice came.
“Sure.”
The door handle turned and Tenya walked in, handing me a small pile of warm clothes and then leaving, closing the door shut behind him.
I dressed myself, then stepped into his hallway. He’d given me dark blue sweatpants and a matching hoodie, both too big for me. I had to pull the drawstring of his sweatpants tightly and tie them into a bow.
Tenya was waiting in the hallway, leaning against the wall dressed in his pajamas. When I stepped out he quickly turned to me, eyes landing on mine as I finally looked up at him.
“Did you eat dinner?” He asked quietly. I shook my head, no. “Follow me.” He led me down the hall and into his bedroom, which had the bedside lamp on. A mug of hot tea and bowl of soup were placed alongside the lamp, and glass of water with them. He had set up a mattress on the floor of his room, blankets and sheets fitted on it.
I started to walk towards it, but was caught by Tenya. “No, you take the bed tonight. Have some soup too, please.”
I turned to him. “Tenya, I can’t take your bed. I’ll be fine on the floor.”
“Please,” he begged. I gave in, walking to the bed and gesturing to him that he sit beside me. I sat cross legged as he handed me the bowl of soup.
“They don’t like me being a hero,” I managed in between spoonfuls of soup. “Not good enough for them.”
He looked at me. “You don’t need to explain if you don’t wish to,” he said.
“It’s okay, that’s really all they said.” I lied. My mother’s shrill scream of, “don’t bother coming back until you can say you’re done disappointing this family,” ringing in the back of my mind.
I wished I could fool him, but the look in his eye was showing his true disbelief in my lie. His face was left with a frown, teeth chewing on the inside of his lip while he thought.
“How could you not be good enough for them?” He asked quietly, but not low enough that I missed it. “You’re an excellent student, an even better hero. You save lives, and it’s not good enough for them?” His voice was starting to rise slightly, anger lacing his tone.
“Iida please,” I tried to get him to lower his voice. “It’s really not a big deal, they just don’t like heroes, that’s all.”
“A parent is supposed to be a hero, someone who uplifts their kid’s dreams and supports them.” He was at a normal voice level now, his navy eyes locking with mine. “How could they kick you out over your dreams?”
“My parents aren’t like yours,” I whispered to him, “they don’t understand, just please keep it down.” My hand found its place on his before I knew what was happening and he froze slightly, eyes flickering down to his hand before looking back up at me.
“You’re amazing,” he whispered. “Just know that. I would’ve died a million times if you hadn’t helped me.”
I smiled at him, “thank you.”
“Now please finish your soup, it’s late and if you don’t warm up you’ll catch a cold.”
"Okay."

BNHA Boys and Pro Heros as Types of Light Pt. 2
A lot of people seemed to enjoy the first round of this series that I did so I have decided to do another one! This second round was inspired by an anon who specifically asked for Iida...but I also included a few pro heros to round it out.
As always my inbox and ask box are open for requests of any type really--if you have any questions or just want to chat feel free to hit me up!
We will start under the cut with Iida <3
So when I think of Iida I think of Lamp light:
Tumblr media
Iida is like late night reading in the comfort of a large, worn, leather chair. He makes you feel warm to your toes when you're in his presence as if you could fall asleep, but knowing he is near you makes you want to be motivated to do better; to be better for him. He feels expensive and classy, but he feels timeless. To quote Taylor Swift, Iida truly never goes out of style--.
Now Present Mic is Neon Lights:
Tumblr media
He is loud and in your face. He is charged and full of energy at all times that sends a zing down your spine. I know this man smells like citrus and mint--am I projecting? Probably. Anyway, he is excitement. He is what it feels like to stay up past your bedtime; he is the head rush you never want to end.
Fatgum is Carnival Lights:
Tumblr media
Fatgum feels like having cotton candy. He is sweet to the senses--all of them. The blonde hair, the blue eyes, the round rosy cheeks...He brings a smile to your face that cannot be stopped no matter how hard you try. He brings a sense of nostalgia to your soul when you're near him that feels like you're at a festival in your hometown and he has just won you a teddy bear...your heart might just explode.
Shouta Aizawa is the glow of a television:
Tumblr media
Late at night, long after the movie is forgotten but the tv glows...that is what shouta feels like. It's quiet, it fills the room just enough to show the shadows of your lover's face to see the planes of his peaceful face as you hold him. It shows the way he runs his fingers along your arm slowly...the glow of that tv has seen so many secrets; much like Shouta. He is trustworthy, steady, quiet.
Hawks is the faraway lights of the city:
Tumblr media
Hawks feels like when you drive just far enough out of the city to get away, but not far enough to know its not there. He feels like he isn't fully yours, but you will enjoy him while you have him. You will lean into him and kiss him while the blurred lights of the city shines behind you before he flies off to the other people you share him with. You'll remember what these lights look like forever and always hope that they will just be beautiful one day and not remind you that you share your hero with the world.

(i’m projecting i fear) ((im not brave enough to even send this out of anon))
i hope you have an absolutely lovely day even if this prompt isn’t your thing and i adore your writing!!
Bunny Girl
Tenya Iida x Rabbit!Female!Reader Summary: Tenya Kids got the hots for a strong bunny girl!
★☽A/N: NO ONE HAS EVER SAID THEY ADORE MY WRITING. AWHHABHDJAVHS THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I haven't seen a good prompt in a while. I love, love, love your prompt! I hope this piece is to your liking <33
Contents: TOTAL FLUFF <33
Tumblr media
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈•゚。
During class 1A’s second year, a new student was transferred from Shiketsu. She was so similar to Mirko! She had calves for feet and fluff like leg warmers! She also had expressive long bunny ears which you could just stay forever! And a cute fluff ball for a tail! Despite her cute appearance, she is fierce and strong in battle! She was a much cuter version of Mirko but had the same personality as the hero.
When she first joined, she was immediately bombarded with questions! Like, “Are those leg warmers or are they real?” , “Can I touch your ears?” , “Do your ears move according to your emotions?” And all kinds of questions, even disturbing ones from a certain purple haired boy.. But she was still well-respected by her peers!
Especially a certain boy~ Tenya Iida always respected Y/N, maybe even admired her for her strength. He was amazed by her impressive agility and battle knowledge. She soon became close with the rich boy. She told him how she interned with Mirko during her first year, back in Shiketsu. He was impressed she was able to do an internship with a well-known pro hero.
Despite her strong personality in battle, she was often shy and quite introverted. She didn’t talk much to other students and mainly spoke to her classmates in Class A. She didn’t like to talk with others because of the amount of anxiety, thinking about how they would think of her. Whenever she needed changes in her costume, she would always get flustered and shy whenever Hatsume started talking a lot to her.
She would actually go behind Iida whenever a student went up to her to talk. Iida found this cute but still encouraged her to open up to others. (In other words, he lectured her about confidence). The girl never really paid too much attention towards his lectures and his hand chops. She actually found it funny and endearing.
Despite Y/N’s shy personality, she was still a friendly sweetheart! If her classmates had to pick who to do a project with, she was the first pick. Actually, during her first project with Class A, everyone quickly turned to her. She was crowded with everyone, begging for her to be partners with her. Of course, she ended up being partners with Iida who was the only one who didn’t beg her to be his project partner.
Of course, Y/N liked him a lot! He was the only boy she felt comfortable with. He just felt… safe to be around. She was always scared to make the first move. But she always tried her best to be close with him, to get to know him more. And each day, she managed to fall in love with him more, more, and more.
Turns out, a certain boy felt the same as her. And he had planned to make the first move.
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈•゚。
It was a sunny, yet windy day. Tenya managed to muster up the courage to ask her to meet him at a garden he knew she liked. She, of course, said yes to him and did what he asked. She dressed up in a cute outfit, her rabbit features complementing her outfit.
She wondered why he wanted her to wear something cute. Perhaps she was going to get asked out?! She was a good deductor, after all. She'll admit, she actually likes the boy. She was comfortable with him, more than anyone she knows in her school.  She had these thoughts as she walked to the garden.
She admired the flowers she saw along the way to the exact spot Iida told her to meet him. She eventually made it and saw the flowers in his hands. It was her favorite flowers, they looked lovely in ribbons and paper it was wrapped with. She couldn’t help but blush with excitement.
“Tenya! How lovely!” She chuckled, walking up to him and receiving the flowers. “You didn’t have to.” The boy shook his head, “No, I knew it was the appropriate thing to do for a beautiful girl like you.” Y/N chuckled at his last words, giggling after seeing his blushed face when he realized those words.
With a cough to compose himself, he straightened his posture. “Anyways, I would like to ask for your hand in love. I would like to give us a chance, if you will allow,” he confessed, helding a hand out to her with his opposite hand on his back. Y/N chuckled again at the cheesiness at the sight. But she found it cute, she found him cute as well.
“Of course.” She smiled a soft smile that made Tenya know he was right for trusting his guts.
。゚•┈୨♡୧┈•゚。
Now, have they kissed? Not yet! During the first months of their relationship, their PDA was mostly holding hands, hugging, and kissing (Not on the lips yet!). But they’re just such an adorable couple! “Couple goals!” is what Mina Ashido would always yell out whenever she sees them doing PDA
Y/N still hides behind Iida whenever she can’t handle talking to strangers. But it’s way more affectionate! Despite Tenya telling her that she should work on her confidence by talking to others, he still loves whenever she hides behind him, hugging his waist in a bear hug and covering her face on his back.
Now, if Y/N was a short girl then she can easily be covered by Tenya, easily hidden. But if Y/N is as tall as Tenya, her blushed face would be covered by Tenya’s shoulder. BUT if she’s way taller than Tenya then her face would be covered by his hair! Despite his hair being quite flat, she still gonna try to hide herself.
And when they first kissed, it was so adorable! She was the one who kissed him first. Tenya was so surprised when she first kissed him, before smiling brightly with blush on his face.
Tenya Iida, the Turbo Hero and Y/N L/N, the Bunny Hero are the best couple ever!

𝐔𝐧𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞
summary; a small writing bit to showcase of how bakugo, kirishima and tenya have lost you. tags : bakugo x reader, kirishima x reader, tenya x reader, angst, implies death, break up, mention of insecurities
Tumblr media
BAKUGO KATSUKI knew he was rough. Gruff. Mean. Offensive. Selfish. All the negative things people whisper behind his back, he knew it all. Of course, you knew. But you never thought of him as rough. Gruff. Mean. Offensive. Selfish. Just your regular angry classmate, who had happened to progressively develop a flourishing crush on his unsuspecting classmate. Till she fell for him. Him. A boy from another school who was passive. Tender. Affectionate. Complimentary. Selfness. Everything who he wasn’t. He remembered the way your face lightened up when the topic was about him. How your light managed to shatter his heart of glass into miniature shards. How you stabbed those shards into him when he saw you with him. How you rawly yelled at him about how selfish he was and demanding to grow up or forget your bond, while his arms stayed wrapped around your knee, eyes blotchy from the intense tears he had endured. How you easily left him behind in the dust, memories which are just… memories.
KIRISHIMA EJIRO is positive, always supportive, even competitively. But, he has insecurities under the red dyed hair. He was always afraid of being seen as weak, or cowardly. Although, despite his mask, you had the ability to see right through it. To see him as he was. He even let you see his frail and self-conscious side, as you aided his never-fading scars scattered in his mind. Your touch, your words, were so powerful and persuasive, that he felt as if he was invincible. Incredible. Irreproachable. With aromatic flowers in his hands and passion flowing through his mind, he’s confident. His eyes glaze at you at a distance. He realises that he never overcame his insecurities, he just shoved them away. His thoughts of self deprecating and loathing, replace those with passion and courage. He’s everything that a girl wants and a boy envies. Unlike him.  As he looks at you smiling and play-fighting with someone stronger, better, and more worth your time. With a deep sigh of regret and a feeling of stupidity, he walks away.
TENYA IIDA is very much aware of his strict nature. He believes that if everyone would abide by the rules, everything would just be fine, and that includes him. His number one personal rule super important rule? Avoid feeble crushes. Having a crush in his developing hero career would surely damage his performance. However, you were such a rule breaker, establishing your own way of conduct. He knows that their personalities clash like water and oil, but the thrill of being with you and doing stupid stunts that would surely land you in the principal's office was just so, enticing. You were all about having fun and defeating villains in the most quirky ways. He was uptight and genuinely cared for public safety. As he stared at your photo, emitting your gleeful and cheeky smile as you trained, his heart aches for your touch, for your voice, for your soul, that is now history.

Vampire Quirk! Reader || BNHA x you
plot: the reader has a vampirism Quirk that they hide from everyone because they are afraid of being hurt. the reader doesn't let anyone get close to them until Aizawa convinces them to make friends. the reader befriends the dekusquad and reveals their quirk; hurt/comfort
tws: blood, bullying, murder, slight angst
DO NOT COPY MY WORK!! THIS IS ORIGINAL. IF YOU SEE SOMEONE TAKING THIS AS THEIR OWN, LET ME KNOW IMMEDIATELY.
Your first memory after being reincarnated was being covered in blood. You weren't a very lucky person in your last life, so naturally, it would transfer over to this one. Your parents in this life were caught up in some shady shit and because of that, it nearly killed you. It was at that time you received your Quirk.
One moment you were watching television with your family, and the next you were a murderer. It was shocking, to say the least. You didn't remember what happened. According to the autopsy, the blood of one man had crystalized and blocked the arteries in his body, leading to his death, the second was boiled alive, and the last was a mystery. The reports said that he was found impaled in several places and that you, a six-year-old, were found drenched in the substance and had consumed some of it.
It was shortly after that you realized that you had been reincarnated into BNHA. Aizawa Shota, aka Pro-Hero Eraserhead, was deemed your legal guardian and had trained you to become a Hero. You aced the entrance exam, thanks to the vials of blood you kept on your person, and landed yourself in Class 1-A. In fact, today was the first day of your second year.
"Oi, problem child." Aizawa's voice calls just before you leave for lunch, "You need to make friends. You can't be alone for the rest of your life."
"But-"
"Don't give me the 'what if I hurt them' shit. You've got a good grasp of your Quirk. Go make some damn friends." The man grumbles, clearly concerned about you.
You reluctantly nodded. You kept how your Quirk operated a secret from your classmates, afraid of rejection and opening yourself up to being hurt. It's happened too many times in the past. You were bullied all throughout elementary and middle school because of your deceased family members and the Quirk you received. None of that was your fault but the words still stung.
Those words embedded themselves in your mind and built walls around your heart. After years of hearing it, you grew to believe those same words. You refused to talk to anyone outside of Aizawa and the few Heroes he was friends with. You never allowed anyone to get close to you. It was better that way... or so you thought.
When you mustered up the courage to sit with Midoriya a few weeks later, he was nothing short of kind to you. It was the same with Iida, Uraraka, and Todoroki. In fact, you grew closer to them over the next few months. It took some time to build up trust and find the courage to get over the fears of your Quirk, so when you finally took that leap, you were terribly afraid.
You were afraid of being shut out again. Afraid of being hurt again. Afraid of being rejected and having to build those walls back up. Nevertheless, you still did it.
"Do you guys... want to know how my Quirk operates?" Were the words you mumbled.
"[L-Last Name]-san, are you sure? You don't have to feel-"
"I'm sure." No, I'm not.
The table is silent for a few moments, giving you time to gather your thoughts.
"My Quirk is called... Vampire."
You take a deep breath, forcing your eyes down as you begin to explain. "I'm able to manipulate blood in its entirety. I can heat it up, chill it, sharpen it, harden it, and crystalize it. I'm able to move it around and form certain shapes. However, I'm only able to do this after I ingest blood. I carry a few vials of blood with me everywhere I go for that reason."
After you finish, you begin to fidget with your fingers. Your friends remained silent for a few moments, though it felt like hours to you. You knew what was going through their heads.
"I'm sorry, I need to use the bathroom." You stand suddenly, throwing out your lunch and making your way to the restroom. Slamming the stall door closed, you slide down the wall and cover your mouth with the back of your hand.
I'm so fucking stupid. Just because they aim to be heroes, why would they be any different?
Tears fill your lashline and spill over, carving a trail down your cheeks. The ache in your chest is back and you wanted it gone; You decided you'll just avoid them until you can patch yourself up again... and that's exactly what you did.
They tried texting and calling, but you never answered. You didn't even look at their messages.
They tried to catch you at school, but you always managed to get away somehow.
They tried to have someone else talk to you, but you managed to avoid them too. You didn't even look at them anymore. You just caved back in on yourself. You were so afraid of rejection that you didn't realize they meant well.
It was a few weeks later that they managed to corner you. You were already home from school and Aizawa said he'd be coming home late as he had some tests to grade. You didn't think he'd bring company.
"Oi, problem child. Come downstairs." Aizawa calls from the bottom of the stairwell. Heaving a sigh, you trudge down the steps, playing (mobile game). When you look up, all color leaves your face.
"W-What are you guys doing here?
Standing before you was none other than Midoriya, Todoroki, Iida, and Uraraka. They looked... pained.
This is getting ridiculous. I'm avoiding them for a reason.
"[Last Name]-san, can we talk?"
"Oi, don't give them a choice," Aizawa grumbles, turning to you. "You are gonna sit and talk whatever the hell happened out. You're not leaving this room until then."
With that, Aizawa leaves the room. You hesitantly take a seat opposite the four, wringing your fingers nervously as you direct your gaze to the floor.
"[Last Name]... why aren't you talking to us?" Uraraka's voice is shaky as she speaks. "D-Did we do something wrong?"
You remain silent for a moment, then whisper, "Why are you here?"
"W-What do you mean? We want to-"
"Are you here to get on my good side? If you are, you can just leave."
"[Last Name], what are you talking about?" Midoriya asks quietly. You notice the tears in his eyes when you direct your attention to him.
"I get it, I have a Villain's Quirk for fuck's sake. Terrifying isn't it? You guys don't have to worry about me hurting you because I'm not gonna repeat the past... So just fucking leave me alone. I'll be a hero and we'll go our separate ways after school. Just forget I even told you anything." You abruptly stand, making for the door.
"[Last Name]. You don't have a villain's Quirk." Todoroki says firmly. "There's no such thing as a 'Hero Quirk' or a 'Villain Quirk'. Your Quirk doesn't define you as a person and we never thought otherwise."
"Bullshit. If that were true, then why the fuck were you guys so fucking quiet when I told you."
"Because we thought it was cool! You have an amazing Quirk, [Last Name]!" Uraraka shouts, tears filling her eyes as well.
"It's not, Uraraka! I've had to hide this shit from everyone because it's a fucking curse! I've fucking murdered people!" Your voice booms, angry tears rolling down your cheeks.
"You were protecting yourself, [Last Name]-san!" Iida finally speaks up.
"Aizawa told us about the report. Your family was murdered and your Quirk manifested to protect you. Why can't you see how amazing your Quirk is?" Todoroki steps forward. "Why would we leave you because you protected yourself, [Last Name]?"
"Because that's what everyone does! Everyone has left me because of it! It's a fucking curse and I... I..." An ugly sob erupts from your throat, knees sinking to the floor. "I can't let myself be hurt again. Please, just leave me alone."
Silence ensues once more. Various sniffles and shuddering breaths are heard before you feel arms wrap around you. Then someone else, and someone else, until all four have their arms around you. The action causes you to cry harder, struggling to free yourself.
"Stop, please. I cant... You'll just hurt me again. I-"
"[Last Name], we aren't going anywhere. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. It wasn't fair at all, but we're your friends. We care about you so much. Please let us be here for you..." Midoriya cries. The five of you stay like that for a while before three bodies leave your side, settling on the couch. You feel someone shift in front of you, lifting your chin with two fingers. Todoroki's eyes meet yours, tears budding at his lashline.
"I love you, [Name]. I love you so much it hurts." His voice cracks, fading into a whisper. "I... Let me help you. Please."
Todoroki pushes your head against his chest, holding you close as quiet sobs rack through his body. He presses a kiss to the crown of your head, then rests his face in the crook of your neck, mumbling a string of pleas. Latching onto him, you mumble, "Okay."
The other three in the room immediately embrace you again, holding you tightly, afraid you'd close yourself off again if they didn't.
Just outside the door, a proud father smiles, pushing himself off of the wall, and heads to the kitchen to make some coffee and order dinner...

Tumblr media
It's been a good day today, you've been texting with your brother about your plans later on that day and overall it’s been pretty chill. Ideally, you were going to meet up with your boyfriend Iida as it’s your 2nd anniversary, so you eventually had to text “freckles” you were going to be out for some time.
Normal day, right?
5:30 AM 1/14/23
“you look fine”. you think to yourself as your standing in a mirror, adjusting your tie.
you’re very anxious about your presentation, i mean— it’s your second year together with your lovely ( soon to be husband ) Iida. You always make sure to dress your best with him.
you very carefully pick up the ring he gave from when you guys first got together off of your nightstand.
“I’ll love you forever, y/n”. Was the promise he made when he gave you it. His voice always sounded so clear in your head, clearing any fear and anxiety your had.
he was your other half.
your phone goes off as your receive a message, you quickly turn your head towards your phone to look at who texted you.
❤️❤️ future husband 5:36 AM — I'm ready, i’m on my way to come pick you up. I can’t wait to see you ☺️
you 5:36 AM— i can’t wait to see you too! i love you 🥰
6:10 AM
hm.
Usually Iida isn’t this late, is he?
it had been a whole hour.
maybe he’s stuck in traffic.
oh well.
6:54 AM
maybe you’d been overreacting but at this point you’re texting him back to back, “hello” “are you there” “are you okay” “where are you?”
you were left on delivered.
you had gotten into your car and tracked his location, he was in the middle of a road.
maybe it was just traffic.
but then, you start seeing cop cars, “caution” tape covering everything and big expensive cameras.
you begin to walk around so you can see what happened but then your heart drops.there’s two crashed cars, one of them is.
Your eyes wander for a second and you lay eyes on his limp, disfigured body. He was completely unrecognizable.
everything happened so fast, you guys were just about to go on a date?
but why did it have to happen to him?
why do bad things have to happen to good people?

I hope | Angst | K. Bakugo (ft. Izuku. M)
Warnings : Cheating
I, I hope she makes you smile
The way it made me smile
On the other end of a phone
In the middle of a highway driving alone
Oh baby I
I hope you hear a song
That makes you sing along and gets you thinking 'bout her
Then the last several miles turns into a blur, yeah
Katsuki Bakugo is not an unfaithful man. But when it came to you, he didn’t know what he felt after he cheated on you. But he sure as hell didn’t regret choosing the girl he loved over you. He smiled as he talked to her over the phone while driving down the highway. He’s smile falters as his mind plays memories of how he used to smile while talking to you. As her voice fades out, he hears a song, their song. He sings along with it while thinking about his pink cheeks as the last few miles fade out.
I hope you both feel the sparks by the end of the drive
I hope you know she's the one by the end of the night
I hope you never ever felt more free
Tell your friends that you're so happy
I hope she comes along and wrecks every one of your plans
I hope you spend your last dime to put a rock on her hand
I hope she's wilder than your wildest dreams
She's everything you're ever gonna need
And then I hope she cheats
Like you did on me
And then I hope she cheats
Like you did on me
You’re sitting at home, curled up in your couch with a cup of espresso in your hand, listening to heartbreak songs on repeat. You’ve never felt more angry at anyone else. You throw away the diamond ring on your finger, a reminder of you fiancé, now ex- fiancé. It is now nothin more than a painful reminder of the day you caught them at the cafe, Katsuki holding Uraraka’s cheek oh so tenderly, in a way he once used to hold you. Tears well up in your eyes again as your heart hopes that he realises that she’s the love of his life and he feels as free as he’s never felt before. You hope that she shows her true colours only after he’s hopelessly in love with her. You hope that he realises that she’s all he wanted, all he needed and spends all his earnings on buying a beautiful ring for her. You hope that she cheats, like he did on you.
Yeah babe, I hope she
Shows up in a 2AM pic from her friend
Hanging on to a guy, and you just ain't him
I hope you stay up all night all alone waiting by the phone
And then she calls
And baby I
I hope you work it out
Forgive and just about forget
And take her on a first date again
And when you lean in for a kiss
Bakugo scrolls through his Instagram when he stumbles upon a picture Ochako uploaded. It’s of the party she attended last night. She had her arms wrapped around Four Eyes’s neck and he had her arms wrapped around her waist as they smiled for the camera. He glares at the green angrily when his phone rings. It’s her. They argue for a good while but then say their apologies, Uraraka gaslighting him into thinking it was his fault and him wanting to recreate their first date at the cafe. They meet up at the cafe when he leans in for a kiss and she happily kisss back and they continue their date.
I hope it goes, comes all the way around
I hope she makes you feel the same way
About her that I feel about you right now
I hope you both feel the sparks by the end of the drive
I hope you know she's the one by the end of the night
I hope you never ever felt more free
Tell your friends that you're so happy
I hope she comes along and wrecks every one of your plans
I hope you spend your last dime to put a rock on her hand
I hope she's wilder than your wildest dreams
She's everything you're ever gonna need
And then I hope she cheats
Like you did on me
And then I hope she cheats
Like you did on me
Like you did on me
You sit at another end of the same cafe, drinking your bitter espresso, smiling as you know what she has been doing behind his back. Few months later, there’s a knock on your door. You open it and are shocked to see Bakugo, his eyes red, filled with regret and guilt. He says that he missed you, he regrets cheating on you. He knows you won’t take him back, but he just wanted to see you once. To realise how badly he messed up. He falls down to his knees as he apologises repeatedly. He stops suddenly as he notices the shining green emerald on your ring finger. He lifts his head as you look down at him sympathetically, a man’s arms wrapped around your waist, his familiar face making tears well up in Bakugo’s eyes. Izuku Midoriya glares at Bakugo as he looks down at him. Bakugo smiles as he kisses you knuckles one last time and stands up to his feet. His last words before walking away were “I love you”. You bury your crying face into Izuku’s neck as his warm presence comforts you, while he too sheds a tear at the man with whom his girlfriend cheated on him.

The Day His Eyes Changed Pt2: 1-A's Reaction to Shigaraki Being Your Brother
A/N: Check back to the first part of this a little before hand to get an idea of what is going on.
╚═══════════════════════════════════════╝
After your gutting confession everyone and everything stood still. The air in the room went cold until the rom broke into chater and banter. People asking questions while others just trying to console you as you cried still.
Izuku
He looked at you in disbelief for a few moment's. "There is no way one of the top villains in Japan right now is related to you.How is that even possible?" His thoughts were racing a mile a minute trying to find the right words to say.
"Should I comfort them? Or should I try asking them more questions, but everyone is already doing that? All this time they had connections to him of all people?" All the talking and panicking was getting loud too loud for concentrating.
He seemed a little more calm after bakugo and Iida settled everyone down.
He was also glad none of the teachers were around yet to check on them. "This is my chance to practice my interrogation skills! Wait but this is serious-"
After everyone settled down Iida, Izuku, Todoroki were selected to interogate you since they seemed like the best options.
Izuku just hopes you are still with the good guys. He understands there are times where good people have to know or deal with bad people.
The three sat down and told everyone to play it casual for a while. Just in case a teacher stopped by. They sat you down in the common area so that way. If something did go down everyone can be ready for the worst. You felt like everyone was looking at you like a criminal and you hated it. The first to speak was Iida "Alright I have gather notes and paper to record anything during this interrogation. So we can properly report this to authorities as needed." The four of you sat down and the first questions was asked. "Y/n how long have you known about shigaraki being your brother? And are you both biologically related?"
You nodded briefly until someone scurried over. "i knew this would come in handy." Denki said snagging your arm and putting sticky wires to your arm and head. "Denki don't interupt the s-" Denki cheered "Lie detector! i ordered this thing a month ago for truth or dare. Might as well test it out now." Iida bunched the bridge of his nose "As crazy as you are Denki this would be useful." Everone nearby hummed in agreement and the Lie Detector was turned on. And Iida repeated the questions. "This time to make our findings more clear with this device just answer yes, no, or taking your time speaking."
You sighed and relaxed "I knew Shigaraki as a kid... And no we are not blood related."
Iida
A part of him was terrified not of you per say but the thought of what you could have done. What if you were some traitor or something?
His nerves were getting to him but he kept his calm for the interrogation.
But then again a part of him saw that you were a genuine hero. Someone such as yourself can not be a villain related to such scum known as Shigaraki Tomura. And he was determined to to prove your innocence.
His brother taught him justice means and how things like this usually work out. And in your case he saw potential to unlock it. Make everyone in this dorm feel safe again, including you.
Iida felt the presence of his brother practically here. He is not superstitious but the the feeling was there. Justice and truth will. be. served!
The next question came up "Those were both truth's, next question. Are you in anyway connected to the league of Villains?"
You shook your head "Never...Once that young boy left me I never heard from him or his father. The day he left me his eyes changed...everything about him did."
The whole room of course was secretly listening in. It was sending chills through your spine.
Todoroki
Todoroki understood a little where you are coming from. People can change over night even the ones you know and love. For him it is not about questioning you. But rather making sure you are safe. And of course if everyone else here is safe.
Also bad family part of this situation. His family is not the greatest out there. So hearing this kind of puts him at ease knowing he is not the only one fighting or dealing with family struggles.
Honestly is just there to be a second set of ears. He is a good listener and good at memory. If he did have anything to say he would say "Yeah these father figures today don't know anything."
Same as Izuku, he knows that sometimes good people have to relate or deal with bad people. He wishes to tell you this in hopes to make things a little better. Hell his own brother is a villain too.
Momo came over hoping to soothe everyone nerve's "Tea?! Anyone want some tea?" He slightly jumped coming out of his trance and went blank. Before Momo went around passing cups of tea around.
Then a cup got to him and he looked down into the drink. "...What has this world become to?"
Iida looked over the last few questions. "Now that we have our main questions out of the way. We will build on these questions." You nodded as you listened. "As of right now everything you are saying is true, correct?" Iida asked and you gave another nod "Yes." Everyone would glance at the machine to see the results for every question. "And another truth... Izuku will now take over asking questions." Iida stood up and left the room to do who knows what?
Izuku looked down at the paper in front of him. "Earlier you brought up the day Shigaraki left you. You said "Everything about him changed?" Can you be more specific on that?"
You hummed "Me and other kids along with Tenko stuck together. Me and him in particular were like glue." There was a pause as you let the machine process. "But then a point hit were he stopped playing with us as he used to. Saying "My father needs me to train." Or "My father can not know we are playing together." I hated that man..." You let out a sigh as Izuku took down the information. The silence became even louder when the front door to the dorms opened.
"Mr Aizawa!" Ochako gave a raspy whisper just enough for your table to hear. Everyone got into position to try and hide or cover everything. But of course in the moment Izuku caved and accidentally sent a few papers flying. Scrambling to pick them up he sighed in relief thinking had all of them.
"You forgot this one..." Aizawa stood there as everyone went silent.
⋘ 𝑙𝑜𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑎... ⋙
A/n: A part of me wants to leave it here but I know some of y'all might want some more reactions other than the ones here. Which I will get to in a possible part three tomorrow. And I will just write it as a typical bullet point headcannons instead.

Get Better.
Tumblr media
Summary: Exams are coming up, and Y/N asks help from her long-time bestfriend Iida. But it seems like Iida is taking this tutor help too seriously, too much that Y/N can’t take it. Can Iida run back to how things used to be? (Featuring Monoma)
Warning/s: Angst, fighting, unintentional condescension, unintentional bullying, jealousy
Word Count:
The bell rings and everyone sighs. Y/N cleans up her desk, her notebooks filled with everything she could fit, but even after all her listening and attentiveness, nothing has processed in her head. All her pencils are now dull and the pages of her notebook are crumpled with her failed attempts at erasing mistakes. The book rustles and crumples as she angrily stuffed them into her bag.
“Don’t torture the innocent trees for your stupidity, Y/N.” Monoma says as a joke. Easily replied with a middle finger, which made him shut up. “Good luck anyway, just call when you need it.” He winks. He’s smart, yes, he could be friendly too, but he just chooses to be an asshole. Dealing with him as a classmate is just as bad as dealing with a toddler. He slaps Y/N at the back on her neck, as he usually does as their way of annoying each other.
As soon as she steps out of your classroom, she spots the one and only top scorer, Tenya Iida. He’s smart, and Y/N is another story. Which makes them a good duo…before. Nowadays, it seems like they’re just neighbors. But time to make use of their relationship they used to have.
She walks up to him as he parts from his green-haired friend. “Iida!” She chants, giving him a small wave. They used to call each other by first names but Y/N felt like they weren’t close enough to talk that way anymore.
He looks a bit shocked and looks around, “L/N! How are you?” He smiles at her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“That’s exactly what I wanted to talk to you about. Haha…” Her eyes avoids his from both embarrassment and the beat in her heart. That’s right, even after growing apart ever since the last year of elementary school, her heart beats for her childhood playmate.
He looks at her with worry, “What’s wrong?”
“No! It’s not a big problem! It’s just…you know…the usual.” She clears her throat, sweat building up on her forehead and palms.
At first he’s confused, not remembering what “the usual” is. It isn’t until Y/N shows him her recent homework and mock tests that it clicks. “I couldn’t say I didn’t expect it from you, L/N.”
“Ouch.” Her heart cracks a little. “Is this what you think of me?”
He sighs, “How did it go this far? Why didn’t you tell me?” He folds up her paper and takes her by the shoulders. “I will tutor you! I will help you! Like I used to! It’s the weekend tomorrow, you can come by and we’ll study.”
Their walk home felt like old times, talking about their own loud, blonde, and aggressive classmate, or talking about how much they haven’t spoken in a while.
“Gosh L/N, how tall have you grown?” He laughs noticing the difference between them.
She gives him a look, “Are we supposed to talk about me, mister buff guy? What have they been feeding you?” she nudges him.
They laugh together, “No, I meant about how much you’ve changed. You used to be so lonely but now you’re so lively.”
“I didn’t change everything about me.” Y/N sighs. “But hey, I’m happy you have friends now. I remember when you and I-”
“Ah! Shush! Shush!” He covers her mouth as a way to keep her from talking about the most embarrassing things he used to do. “Anyway, this is me. Stay safe, and I’ll see you tomorrow, okay? Your grades need my help for sure!” He waves to her as she disappears from his sight.
She gets home and sighs immediately, how did it end up this way? “It’s not a date, just a study date.” she tells her pillow. But how did it end up this way? How did her fairly average grades turn into a pot of steaming shit? No one knows, it was like a switch was flipped to make her mind just stop receiving studies. Was it her hero training? Was it because she was focusing more on her training? No, she was just an average hero.
It didn’t help that her parents constantly compared her to Iida. But no matter the amount of comparison between them, she still remembered how good of a listener he was. How good he was at pushing the swing when they played or how stupid he was when playing hide and seek. How cool piggyback rides were when he told her about his newly discovered quirk. Maybe it was the reason she couldn’t help but feel happy for him after every success he had, the reason she gives him a slight bow when they pass by at the hallway. Maybe their childhood relationship was the reason her chest beats like the bass during a concert when he smiles at her or messages her for her rare achievements.
“Just suck it up and get better!” She tells herself.
Tomorrow -
The doorbell rings, Iida’s mom opens the door and gleefully smiles at her. “Oh my god, Y/N?! How long has it been since I last saw you?! Come give me a hug!” She pulled her into a tight squeeze, much to the dismay of Iida, who was tending to his brother. As soon as Tensei heard her name, he wheeled himself to the front door and called out to her, much to the dismay of his younger brother once again.
“Are you really her? No, this can’t be little Y/N! You’ve grown!” he comments.
“You’re acting like you haven’t seen her in years.” Iida sighs.
The two Iida’s turn to him with a glare, “It’s cause we haven’t!” they said to him.
“Tell me you’re staying for dinner! I can’t wait for your father to-”
“That’s enough! L/N, come, let’s work on your studies.” He pulls her by the arm to his room. He takes off his glasses and rubs his eyes, “I apologize for them, but let’s get started, shall we? There’s a lot to work on, afterall.” A smile appears on his lips, which Y/N replied the same with.
It’s been 3 hours, and the two seem like they’re just not getting along. Y/n’s head is on the table while Iida’s was on his hands. “L/N. It’s an easy question. What is the chemical composition of gold?” Iida says for the 100th time.
“Iida. I don’t know.” her voice muffled from the table.
“L/N, we can’t do this if you’re not even trying. Are you trying to fail this class?” He chuckles, almost condescendingly, placing his fists on the table. The papers are scattered, the mock tests Iida had prepared have X marks all over them.
“I’m trying, Iida. Sorry I don’t have a big brain.” Y/N tries to joke but deep inside, she just wants to get out of there. After all the half-hearted “jokes” Iida has been throwing at her throughout the 3 hours, she’s had enough.
“Maybe this is why you’re in 1-B instead of 1-A.”
“What?”
“If you tried harder, you would’ve been in the same class as me. This is why you didn’t get in Soumei, with me.” He sighs.
Y/N lifts her head up, “Thanks, Iida. For throwing that in. Really helpful.”
“Good. May that serve as an inspiration to you.” His hands turns a page on his book. “Now, let’s-”
“I think I’m done. I’ll try again tomorrow. Thanks.” Y/N scoops up her stuff and crumples them into her bag quickly, hiding her shame and the tears welling up in her eyes.
“Are you seriously giving up? Didn’t we used to say to never give up? You really have changed.” Iida tries to stop her, holding her bag.
“Yeah, and you haven’t! You’re still so egotistical and think so highly of yourself! When I say I’m done, I’m done! So I thank you for your help, but I don’t want it anymore!” She tugs on the sleeve he has his grip on.
“L/N! L/N!” His voice fades away as she shuts his door and heads downstairs.
“Y/N? Are you- Hey, what’s wrong?” Tensei tried to console her as the tears were already dripping down her angry and embarrassed face. “Y/N!” he pleads to her again, and so was their mother, but she was already out the door.
What people don’t know about Iida is that he was truthful, too much that it hurt. The way he would point out Y/N’s flaws when they would practice their quirks together when they were kids, or how much higher of a grade he got compared to hers. She would come back home with her self-esteem lower than before she left to go see her playmate. Maybe it was the reason she didn’t mind as much when Iida started coming to the playground less. Maybe the constant mention of his name when it came to her grades was the reason she didn’t feel the need to call out to him when they met eyes during the entrance exam.
Nevertheless, she’s done with trying to rekindle their…whatever it may be. She went home and stuffed all her notes down the trash, screaming at how frustrated she was at herself. Iida, in the meantime, was just mad at her for getting mad while he was just trying to help. Even after plenty of scolding and yells from his family that what he was saying was wrong, he finds no fault in only stating the harsh truth.
Monday comes again and they only have 1 week before their exams, Y/N has given up. Her notes were empty and her motivation is just as low as her ankles.
“Gosh, Y/N. You gave up in life or something?” Monoma chatters to her.
“Yeah.” she mutters, closing her empty notebook.
Monoma smiles but it drops noticing she was serious, he loudly scoots his seat next to her and opens it. “Sheesh, what is this? Your dignity? Listen, Y/N, the exams are coming up and now is not the time for your mind to go anywhere else. Here, take my notes, you’ll need it.” Monoma raises his arm to slap her at the back of his head but instead of a harsh playful hit, her hair is played with for a second. But as Y/N looks up, he’s already at the other side of the classroom, talking with the rest. When he spots her looking at him, he points to his notebook and ushers her to read, mouthing “Read, idiot!” to her. Y/N scoffs but does as told and studies. His notes were weirdly short but much more understandable, often having additional unnecessary stuff added it, which made it more rememberable.
When the bell rang, Y/N is met with a smack, “Give me back my notes, you must’ve remembered some stuff by now.” he rolls his eyes.
“Come on, let me keep it for longer!” Y/N pleads, gripping the notebook tightly.
“Hey! I need to study too!” He pretends to yell and get upset, they wrestle for it for a while.
Iida, in the meantime, walks out his classroom door, seeing the two fighting. He smiles, remembering how they used to playfight too. He’s happy to see her making…friends. They’re friends, right? Huh, why’s she making friends with a mean guy like Monoma?
Monoma sighs and gives up, “Fine, fine. How about we both study? Hm?” He smiles, pulling her bag and carries it for him.
“Are you serious?” she plays, stomping on his foot.
“Why would she get taught by you when she has me?” a deep voice called from behind. They turn around to see Iida. “You can come-”
“It’s fine, Iida. Come on, Mo, let’s see how good you really are in teaching.” Y/N loops her arm around his and he scoffs and boasts how good he is in everything. Like what they…used to do. Huh, why didn’t she do that when they were walking home the other day?
It continued continuously, day after day she would reject Iida’s offers and goes with someone else, most of the time Monoma, who would sling his arm around her shoulders.
“L/N, my mom-”
“Hold on, Iida. Monoma is trying to explain something.”
Or some other days, Y/N doesn’t even acknowledge his messages.
Iida Tenya: If you need help, I’m here.
Iida Tenya: My notes are also available here for you.
Iida Tenya: Just so you know.
L/N Y/N: Ok.
It seems like she’s found a new bestfriend, slash rival. Like Iida used to be. Iida comes home wrecked, his muscles are sore, his head is Y/N, her legs are tired and, his head is Y/N. It seems like her new relationship with Monoma is tipping him off his usual self. And it seems like he found a day to fix it. As he was heading home, he overheard a little conversation as he passed by.
“Gee, Monoma. I think I’m good on my own. Thanks, either way, man!” She patted Monoma on the back.
“Don’t fail the exams or else you’ll have to compensate me for the time I gave you. As your teacher, I will be very disappointed, Y/N.” He fake cries as he messes her hair up to make her look trashed.
“Eh?! Seriously?!” Her feet take a step back, Monoma laughs and shakes his head, telling her it was just a joke. “Well, I’ll be at the library. Bye!”
Iida watches as Y/N walks the other way, heading to the library. Monoma walks his way, and Iida takes him by the arm. “What is your relationship with L/N?” Iida blurts out.
Monoma smiles an evil grin, as he usually does, “Oh? What does the representative of 1-A have to say me? And why should you care about my own classmate. Y/N is my classmate, not yours. Shouldn’t I ask you why you’re even asking about her?”
“She’s a very important person to me. And I must know what your relationship with her is. For her safety.” His grip tightens, but loosens as he notices a few of their classmates looking at them.
Monoma laughs, pulling his grip away from him. “Important person, ha! My, my. You’re delusional, aren’t you? She may be important to you, but are you important to her? Clearly not because she’s treating you like a clingy speck of lint.” The blonde swings his bag to his bag and give him a look. “It’s none of your business. And if you must know, you should just forget about her.”
Iida watches as the blonde walks away, silently enraged. And now, Iida is laying on his bed, the night has set and he’s wondering what to do to get his friend back. He takes his phone and checks her page, where she would post daily about where she was. He has blocked her profile momentarily to avoid seeing pictures of them together in a cafe or library or any picture with both of them within 2 meters of each other. He unblocked her and looked at her page, she was at the library. Still at the library. He gets up, gets his coat and walks out the door, heading for the library.
Y/N slams her head onto her notebook, “Almost done. Almost done” she thought to herself, she flipped the next page over and started answering whatever questions were there.
“L/N.” she heard from above her, she looked up and saw a familiar blue haired man.
She sighed, rubbing her eyes, “Iida, it’s 9pm. I think you’re late for your curfew.” she continued her writing.
“What are you still doing here?” he panted.
“Guy with a running quirk is tired from running, gosh.” She thought, “I’m trying to finish something. I’ll be okay.”
Suddenly, her notebook was shut with a loud TWACK as it hit the table. “Go home, L/N. It’s late.” he instructed, putting her stuff inside her bag before swinging it behind him.
She stood up and pulled him out the library, away from anyone who could be there. “Why are you doing this, huh? Is this your way of showing me that I need you? Hm? Well, guess what, Tenya Iida. I don’t!” She retorted, pulling her bag from him.
“I’m only looking out for you, L/N.” He tells her.
“No, you’re not. You’re looking for someone to make yourself feel better. When you found out I was slipping on my grades, you wanted to be closer to me than ever before. But when we had almost equal grades when we were younger, you barely reached out. You forgot about me. You just want to be around someone who’s lower than you.” Y/N walks away from him but he holds her arm tight.
“You’re misunderstanding things, I care about you. And I want to help-”
“Help, Iida? By saying that I’m stupid and how I wasn’t smart enough to get into your school? How I’m lazy and ill-witted? Great help. Such great help, Iida. I get it, I’m pathetic, but I asked for help and you used it to dig it into my skin.”
“But I can help you! In a way Monoma never can!” Iida yells back.
Y/N takes a step back and laughs a little, “Is this what it’s all about? Are you mad that someone else is much more helpful than you? Are you mad that you’re no longer my only friend?”
“No, that’s not it! That’s not it at all!”
“Then, what?! What is it?!”
“I can’t stand seeing you with him!” He takes her by the shoulders, pulling her close. Y/N is confused, her eyes widening and her brows raising. But not for long, her brows furrowed and she pushed him away.
“I can’t do this right now, Iida. Let’s talk after the exams. I can’t have you as a distraction when I’m so close to actually succeeding.”
It’s now Friday of the next week since their fight, they haven’t spoken nor laid eyes on one another. She’s now at her home, alone since her parents have decided to have a date night, making you gag from their love. She laid on the couch, watching whatever may be on the television as she eats a biscuit. Too tired and lazy to cook dinner for herself. The couch vibrates which she feels, she reaches her phone with her leg, kicking it and catching it quickly.
She barely got a moment to say hello when she heard the familiar voice, “I’m at your gate, can we please talk?” Iida mutters by the phone. Y/N jumps from the couch and peeks at the window, where the boy is standing there, under the god damn rain. She shuts the phone off and opens the gate for him.
She pulls him into the umbrella she brought, “Let’s talk here, my house is a bit of a mess. This will be quick, right?” Y/N tells him.
He takes a deep breath, “I- I don’t- L/N, I-” He stutters, he plays a little with his fingers. “L/N, I’m sorry…for everything I’ve done since we were kids. I’ve been so selfish and shallow and I don’t think about what I say. I really thought I was helping but I didn’t stop to consider your feelings. I’ve been a terrible friend and I don’t deserve to even show my face in front of you.”
Y/N only looks down at the ground, thinking about what he was saying.
“I was so desperate for you to stay with me here at UA that I wanted to do everything for you to pass the exams. But my help just hurt you more, I realized that you being with me might just hurt you even more. I’m sorry, L/N.” She looks up at him and he looks at her.
“Iida, I don’t want to stop being friends with you. I never did. And I’m glad you understand my feelings. But you don’t get to decide how I’ll feel about you. Yes, I’m upset. So upset that I want to break all your glasses. But I won’t lie by saying I didn’t think about you for all these years, even after we grew apart. You don’t get to decide that you being with me will be so bad you won’t even try.” Y/N tells him sternly.
Iida’s breathing grows unsteady, “Does this mean-”
“This doesn’t mean I forgive you for what you’ve done. I’m just saying that…I want to be with you again.” She gives him a look, he immediately pulls her into a hug and tears fell onto her shoulder, her umbrella being knocked off her hand.
“Iida!”
“I’ll be better, I will. I’m so sorry, L/N. I’m so so sorry.” Y/N pats his back and hug him tighter. The rain showers them wet, she immediately turns the knob to the door and lets him in.
Immediately, she pulls him to the couch and leaves to go to the bathroom. When she comes back, his hands are on his face. She drapes a towel over his head and a blanket on his shoulders. “I can stay ‘til the rain passes. I’ll set up the ro-” He pulls her hand to stop her from leaving.
“I’m sorry.” he mutters under his breath.
“Yes, you’ve said that…many many times. I get it. And I said-”
“I like you, Y/N. I couldn’t bear seeing you with him cause I want you with me.” he mutters, his head still down. Y/N stands there in shock, her heart beating fast.
“I want you to stay in UA with me. Please stay. Stay.” Y/N senses how weird he’s speaking and tips his head up and presses her hand on his forehead.
“For god sake’s, Tenya! How long were you standing in the rain for?!” Y/N yells at him.
“For how long it’ll take.” he replies. Y/N rolls her eyes.
“I brought you some of my dad’s clothes, get dressed. Stay for the night so you’ll get better.”
He got dressed and you lay him down the sofa, spreading out a blanket for him and placed a towel on his head.
“Drink you medicine. Come on, Iida.”
“Call me, Tenya. Like we used to, Y/N. I want to be better for you. And when you’re ready, I want to start a relationship with you.” He blabbers, his face straight and serious but red and flushed.
“Okay, Tenya. But first, get better for me, okay? I like you, too.”

"You didn't deserve to hear that."
This is why you don’t connect with people from your past. Because then you end up in a situation like this, just like it was all those years ago. Except now, you’re much older than you were the previous time, but just as vulnerable.
Reunions. Most of them were filled with joy, nostalgia, and the feeling of catching up with someone after a long time. This…was none of the following. You had moved from your old elementary school due to housing and the unbearable bullying by your peers. Once transferring into UA, you had a sense of belonging. It took you a while to trust and get used to, but everyone treated you nicely, they way you should be treated. So it was a snap back when you went to your elementary school reunion.
You knew it was sketchy when you got an invitation from one of the students that used to bully you, but you thought that maybe, just maybe they changed. There was that small sliver of hope that they had changed, and realized what they did to you was wrong, and apologized, or treated you better than they did before.
You had told your boyfriend of the invitation a week in advance, and asked him to go with you as a precaution. He agreed, and you told Mr. Aizawa in advance that you two would be going, and the location of the party. And because neither of you have the ability to drive, you two were driven to the location of both the party and a lot of your emotional baggage. Your Elementary/Middle School. You can feel a pit in your stomach fill with dread as the distance between you, your boyfriend, and your childhood school shortens. Finally believing you made a mistake, you begin to turn and walk away from the entrance, but with great hesitance. Your boyfriend noticed that you hesitated and grabbed your hand, squeezing it lightly, bringing you back into reality.
“Are you okay?” he asked. He had worry written all over his face, but in your defense, when doesn’t he? He’s like the second dad of Class 1-A, he’s always worried. You look up and give him a weak smile, and manage to mumble quietly.
“Yeah, I’m good.”
The two of you walk through the front office, the pre-k and kindergarten hallway, the doors leading to the playground, the first and third grade classrooms, the second grade classrooms, the bathroom by the cafeteria(where everything went down) and finally through the cafeteria entrance, in that order. That small pit of dread in your stomach slowly turned into a pool, almost as big as the one at that school, as everyone, the people that bullied you, the people you barely talked to, and the people you considered friends sat in almost silence and stared as you walked into the cafeteria, and took a seat at one of the lunch tables, the one by the podium, that you always sat at throughout 5th, 6th, and early 7th grade. At that point, it was the one of the only things that cafeteria that gave you a sense of peace, and nostalgia, considering that you and your boyfriend did not go to the same school together before now, but then again you guys are only in high school, so there is a huge possibility he did, and you just…didn’t notice, and part of you is thankful you didn’t, if he did go to the school you did when you were younger. You had so much on your plate at such a young age, no wonder you are the way you are now. You were taken off your train of thought by a rather unpleasant voice.
“Wow, I didn’t think you’d actually show up! Hey guys, look! They’re here!” one of your old bullies points you out to everyone there, causing the spotlight to fall on you. Everyone turns to look at you once again, almost instantly, and it feels like their eyes are just…burning holes into every part of your body. You feel a hand on your knee, and they tap twice on your kneecap. You look over to Iida, and tap on his shoulder twice with your index finger, signaling you’re okay, and can hold it out for a little bit longer. He smiles at you, and you two continue going about your business at that table. You scooch over a bit and signal him to follow, and you show him what's behind the podium. Behind the fake wood, halfway broken podium are some books you’ve read when you used to go here, and all the drawings you managed to hide in between the planks. Mid conversation, one of your bullies both interrupts and ignores you completely, turning their attention to Iida.
“So, what brings you here, big guy? I don’t remember you going here.” She looked him up and down, as low as you can go in an elementary school lunch table. “Well, that’s because I didn’t.” His answer was short, dry, and from your point of view, somewhat cold. Your boyfriend was unfazed, but she was persistent. “Well, tell me about yourself! Where are you from? What brings you to your elementary/middle school?” she leaned in closer, to him, acting as if you weren’t there. This happened before, with someone who used to be your best friend, who was watching all of this go down as they spoke, and said nothing. Iida kept trying to be as dry and show as much disinterest as possible without being impolite, but your bully was making it difficult. Then she finally dropped the facade after several minutes of pressing, and pushing. “Fine! I don’t know what you see in that lost cause of a person, they should’ve taken the advice half our class gave them all those years ago.” and walked toward the table all your other bullies were sitting at, and began talking like normal. Tenya was going to go over and say something, but you tugged at the sleeve of his button up, causing him to sit back down next to you. “It’s fine, Ten. Really. I’m used to it, it’s not that big a deal anymore.” You tapped his shoulder twice again, this time with your pinky finger, signaling you wanted to leave as soon as possible. You waited until everyone was preoccupied, got phone numbers from a couple of people, said your goodbyes to said people and discreetly left, making sure that you leaving did not become a subject of conversation, something else for you to sit and through. You guys left through one of the side doors, the one next to one of the three second grade classrooms, down the hall from the nurse’s office, and called someone to come pick you up. While waiting for that person to arrive, Iida asked you a very serious question. “One of your classmates said that it would’ve been better if you had taken the advice that half the class had given you? What does that mean, and if half the class advised it, why didn’t you listen?” your body immediately tensed up at the question. Why didn’t I listen? Why did they give me that advice in the first place? What could I have done that was so bad that they all hated me? What did I do at such a young age to deserve that type of treatment? Once again, you are pulled out of your thoughts with a double-tap on your kneecap. You non verbally reply with the same response as before, a double-tap on the shoulder with your pinky, followed by a triple-tap with your thumb, signaling you want to go home asap, and you two will talk later. As a follow-up, Iida grabbed your hand, intertwined your fingers with his, and replied with a simple but soft, “Okay.” before kissing the back of your hand, leaving the two of you to enjoy the rest of the sunset in silence until your ride arrived.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Tenya guided you to his room, after checking in with Aizawa, and sat down on his bed. For a while you just stood there in front of him, staring at your feet. You were silent and dazed, almost as if you were stuck in your own head, trying to free yourself from the grip of your thoughts. He slowly and gently took your hands, grabbing your attention, and let go. The moment you looked up at him he offered you a hug, and you obliged. The moment his arms closed around you, you just melted into it. “So…” he broke the silence. “Do you feel comfortable enough to tell me what she was talking about today?” you shrugged, and gave in telling him everything, with the occasional moment of tears. While you expected him to judge you, or try to turn it on you like everyone else did, he hugged you a little tighter, and whispered into your ear.
“You didn’t deserve to hear that, especially at such a young age. You did nothing wrong, love, and I’m glad you stayed.”
In that moment it was almost like his words were a piece of wood underneath a pipe filled with water because once he said that, you began to cry again. Despite all your loud sobbing, and the wet sniffles, he stayed in that position, and rubbed your back, until you fell asleep.
[A/N] WOOOOOAHHHH what a surplus in words, I haven't written this much in soooo long, but this goes to prove that the stuff I write is based off the music I listen to. Plus the description of the childhood school is actually based off of my childhood school, as well as the bullies(so I may have projected just a little bit but who's really paying attention?) but I wrote this in the middle of the night, it took me around two hours, (11:30-ish pm to 1:44am) I'm really sleepy. (the words on my screen are starting to look funky and my right eye hurts to the point where i feel it in the back of my head help) Until next time!

Arabian nights! ...gone wrong?
This is just a little heads up to a special person, @princeasimdiya12 , who requested this amazing idea to me! So basically this is just an aladdin AU, with you and Deku being poor inhabitants of the city Agrabah and you two find out about some bad shit happening in the future, but will you two be able to stop it?
Warnings: angst, near death experience, everyone hates you and Deku :)
Word count:  2,751
...
“Quick, Izuku! They’re going to catch us because of you!“, you yelled, running as fast as you could through the slim streets and lanes of the city you and your best friend Izuku lived in.
Currently, you two were not really on good terms with the guards, or with the baker whom you took a few pastries and bread from...or the coffee maker, whom you also have taken a liking to the small coffee-filled leather bottles...or the farmers, who have new vegetables and fruits, which Izuku had taken and put in your bag.
...W-without paying...
“I’m running as fast as I can, Yira!“, he only huffed before heaving himself up to another house made out of dirt. Meanwhile, you were three houses ahead and about to jump onto the fourth one, when you heard Izuku’s cry for help.
One glance back and you sprinted towards Izuku, who’s legs got taken by a young guard trainee. Katsuki Bakugo. “It’s about damn time that I get at least one of you thieves!”, he roared, pulling Izuku down with his strong and trained arms, but to his misfortune, you pulled Izuku up as quick as you could and with all your power.
You managed to pull the scrawny boy up with Izuku yelping when he suddenly stood next to you and you threw some rocks at Katsuki.
“Stop trying to catch us! We’re only trying to survive here!“, you cried, eyeing the priviledged bastard beneath you, who dodged most of them.
He only scoffed before spitting on the ground. “By stealing food? Don’t you have any money? Or parents?“
“We...we don’t even have something that we can call a home. And you have everything, Bakugo, so leave us alone!“, Izuku yelled, throwing sand at the blonde who got some in his eyes and screamed.
You and your best friend took it as a chance and ran off.
...
In your little - from the city abandoned- house, you were running up and down in what could be called a living room. “We need to train more. Have better tactics. Be smarter, more efficient. We have to-“
“Yira?“, the freckled boy interrupted you, lifting his tanned left hand uowards like a pupil and looking at you with nothing but nervousness written on his face.
You calmed down from your rambling and gave your attention to Izuku. “Yes? tell me what’s on your mind.”
He fiddled with his fingers before he stopped, closed his yes, took a deep breath and started to talk, still with his eyes closed. “I-I think that we could try a-again. By...trying to find work, you know?”
Your brows furrowed, and you were about to reason him about everything when he shushed you shyly and continued.
“I-I-I know, that...we are not on best terms..with...anybody. In this city. But...what if...we, you know...leave?”, his voice went incredibly high and you couldn’t guess if it was from his nervousness or his voice crack.
You sighed, rubbing your temples in preparation for the ongoing argument that would occur, and you started calmly. “Dear Izuku. You and I both know that we have tried. Many times. To get out of this goddamn-”
“Life? I know, Yira! I know! I-I just-I don’t know. I just...don’t want to live as a criminal anymore. I don’t like covering up my face at such high temperatures. I don’t like having to change my voice whenever different people start striking up conversations with me. I don’t like anything about myself at all. I -I don’t like anything here. Whatever I accomplished. It’s just-shit!“
You were silent for a few moments. “You...you think that I find it anymore different? You think I love sleeping in abandoned houses, wearing dirty clothes?”, you asked with a neutral voice and face, but Izuku knew that he’d fucked up.
He knew you loved this city, despite everything trying to kill you, whether it’d be the weather, the people, or fate. He knew that you loved looking at the people going on and on about their day. You loved stealing as long as it meant to feed the starving, sick and weak.
He adored that about you. You were perfect. But he was not made to live like that. He wanted to explore. To find new land to call his own. To become rich, and maybe...marry y-
“No. No. No, please Yira, I d-didn’t mean it like-“
Cue to your curtains closing from your room, signalling him to shut up.
“-that.“
...
“Again? I trained you better, didn’t I, peasant?“, the head guardian, Enji Todoroki, but known by the folks and his enemies by ‘Endeavor‘, asked. He sneered down to Bakugo, who was still rubbing his eyes furiously.
“Oi, stop calling me that,“, the brutish blonde spat, glaring at the man with his burning ruby eyes. But it was true.
Katsuki Bakugo came from a family where his parents were designers who even got to the point of making the everyday clothes for the Iida family, also known as the royal- and leading family of his hometown.
But, Endeavor didn’t spare a thought to the boy’s past and only scolded him and punished him for his actions or failure. Like right now.
“You’re going to have the privilege of cleaning up after the horses for today and then clean the stalls. Every single one.“, Enji said before turning away to look after his youngest child who always hid away from his father.
When Bakugo was sure that Todoroki was out of his hearing shot, he let out a string of curses before grabbing a shovel and grumbling to the horses.
...
Meanwhile, Tenya was fighting against his elder brother, Tensei, and lost again. “How...are you doing that?”, Tenya huffed as he sat on the ground to get some rest. Tensei only chuckled before answering:
“It requires a lot of training for you to get to the same level as me, but always remember. Never use your strentgh, speed, or violent skills for any other reason than defending and protecting the weak.“
Tenya felt motivated by his brother’s words and quickly stood up, asking for another round.
...
After you calmed down -you went out and split up your treasure with the poorer people, who thanked you- you went over to your best friend’s room and knocked onto the wall.
“Come in.“, you heard as you stepped in. There, you saw Izuku looking at maps and stolen books lying on the ground, dust already settling in. “What are you doing.“, you asked, eyeing the suspicious behaviour of Izuku.
He only shrugged his shoulders before packing his things. “Guess I’ll have to go on my own then.”, he only answered to your demand before making his way over to you, to pass by and walk out the door when you grabbed his arm and pushed him against the walls.
“Are you serious? You really plan on fucking off?“, your eyes were filling with tears and Izuku panicked.
His plan and intuition was to get you to follow him. He thought that if he’d just act like he’d go, you would do something mundane like sighing or rolling your eyes before telling him to wait for you so you could pack some stuff of your own before accompanying him.
What he didn’t expect was for you to start crying though. He quickly dried your tears with his thumbs and tried to comfort you. “No-I, Yira, I didn’t mean it like that! What if- What if we just go out of the city-for a short moment, hm? Then we’ll be back! I promise!”
You still sniffed and thought about his deal. “B-but we’ll only go a tiny bit further away from the city...Otherwise I won’t go.”, you mumbled, your face buried in his chest. He sighed. “Yes, thank you. Now, let’s pack your stuff and get going.”
What you guys had in your bags were actually just first eid kits (some medicine créme, gauze and band aids), food for the walk, and water. Plenty of water.
...
“What do you mean, you couldn’t find them?“, Tensei asked, high on his nerves because his two least favourite criminals, you and Deku, slipped through Bakugo’s fingers. He groaned in frustration and Tenya was only shaking his head in dissappointment.
The fiery blonde, who was embarrassed by his leader scolding him and him being not strong enough to grab Deku’s legs, only glared ahead stubbornly, while Enji Todoroki looked to the side, seemingly wanting to be everywhere more than in the palace of the Iida’s.
It was already bad enough that their parents were abroad to clear some business and Tensei played the role as a king, even though he made a fairly good job.
Bakugo was still in shock about how a fragile, weak girl like you had the sudden strentgh to take Izuku with your wobbling arms from a trained soldier like him.
“The girl, Yira, she grabbed that damn Deku’s legs and lifted him up, then they...threw at me...with rocks.“, he grumbled, not wanting to meet Tenya’s glare. The latter one only sighed before motioning for the two guardians to follow him. Tenya followed, wanting to hear and learn everything his brother said or did.
They stepped onto a big balcony which aloowed a breathtaking view of the majority of Agrabah, but...the slums...were nowhere to be seen. Bakugo furrowed his brows. Where were the poor people? Beggars?
“This is Agrabah. One day, I’m really going to rule over this city. And I want it to be without a high crime rate. Today, it could be just Yira and Deku, the well-known thief-duo. But what about tomorrow? Our arch nemesis, the Plague of Iblis (=League of Villains) could hunt down everything we call home.“
Tensei made a pause as he looked at the calm streets of his home fondly. But as he was about to start talking again, Bakugo beat him. “This city. It isn’t complete. You don’t see everything, your highness. Where are all the damn Beggars? Poor people? Thieves? Right now, we see none of it! Something’s not right here!”
Tensei only stared at Bakugo before looking at the scenery in front of him again.
...
“This was a bad Idea. I told you it was a bad idea!“, you whisper-yelled when you found yourself in front of an eerie place, where it only reeked of evil and harm.
He only pouted at you before pushing you back gently. Good thing that there wasn’t a forest in the endless desert you two lived in, because then you wouldn’t accidently step on a branch or twig and attract attention.
Bad thing was that there wasn’t a forest in the endless desert you two lived in, because then you and Izuku could hide behind bushes, trees, or fallen trees, big rocks or high earth.
Now, you heard laughter coming from the center of a tent to your guys’ right and you two were too nosy and curious as to what those people indise might be talking about.
But one thing was clear. There was a majority of men inside that tent, with only a few women, one girlish voice peeped up now and then. “We will attack tomorrow, with the parents of our little to princies it won’t be a problem! These boys nowadays are spoiled rotten anyways!”, an elder voice echoed, followed by positive feedback and maliscious laughter.
“Yes. we will attack. We will make Agrabah ours. But not tomorrow. What if their parents come back tomorrow?“, a male but hoarse voice asked into the round, and it was silent for a few short moments.
Then, another male sounding voice answered. “We’ll simply keep eye on the business people near the ocean and sea. When we...ask...them, they’ll answer us for sure. And we could plan our attack based on when they will come back. We could give them a nice surprise by sitting on their thrones-”
“Their sons’ heads on silver plates!“, the girly voice cheered. Everybody cheered after that as well.
You and Izuku looked at each other, completely mortified and you quickly got up to your knees, running as fast as you could towards the palace.
...
“Ah, see! Our criminals are crawling here already! Are you ready to pay for all the plunder you two have committed?“, Tensei asked when you ans Izuku got pulled in by two guards. Kirishima and Tetsutetsu. The twins wew both strong as hell and you and Izuku couldn’t stand a chance to break free from their grip.
You grunted before trying to pull away from the redhead behind you, but to no avail. “Agrabah is in big danger!”, you yelled, and Izuku continued. “We were just walking outside the city when we came across a big number of tents and overheard what the people in one of them said-”
“One stated that they would attack you guys before your parents arrive, and their people are keeping an eye on the business of the folks working by the sea and ocean! And when they ask some of the fishermen or other knowing people when your parents might return-“, you interrupted Izuku, but he finished your sentence,
“Then they’d sit on your mother’s and father’s thrones and have your two heads on silver plates!“, Izuku panted, breathing in and out.
Tensei eyed you two for a short moment, but Bakugo and Endeavor broke the slince with loud laughter. Endeavor spoke first, giving you an Izuku a look full of disgust.
“You don’t really believe these two...filthy bastards, who are hoarding all the food-“
“We are giving the food to the people who actually need nutritiens! The poor kids are living skeletons, the mothers can’t birth their children! The elder peoples’ bone begin to break by even the slightest gust of wind!“
Your voice still echoed after a long moment of silence. Tensei and Tenya eyed you with disbelief and horror. You felt your eyes sting when nobody opened their mouth to talk back to you.
“Ever since your parents left, or even before they left, this city has been seeked out by criminals from lands unknown to us! There are more people living on the streets than in the houses in Agrabah! Do something against it!
...Please...!“, you croaked before your knees hit the floor and you buried your face in your hands to hide your teary crying face.
The men around you were uncomfortable with a woman crying around them, and there wasn’t anything they could really do.
Tense and his younger brother didn’t want to touch you because you were a peasant and a woman, Bakugo didn’t touch you because you were a woman and Endeavor didn’t want to touch you because you might carry plenty of illnesses with you.
But the only human in this hall was Izuku, who crashed into you to comfort you, to hug you. As you cried into his arms, Izuku glared at the four men looking down on him.
Tensei and Tenya looked to the side, ashamed by the status of their hometown. Bakugo was surprised. He has never seen a woman scream, let alone for justice, or at the two princes he had to serve. He was impressed.
But so was Endeavor. He didn’t know who you were, only ever thought of you as a selfish thief, but as you opened their eyes, he felt the need to apologize.
“I apologize for my behaviour towards you two. We should take measures to this problem. And about the criminals who are about to attack us. My majesty, do you knew when the king and queen will return?”
Tensei thought for a short moment, but Tenya beat him to it, calling people with the most different jobs into his hall. “They aren’t going to show up for another half or whole year, I suppose, but the villains might attack us earlier. We have to be prepared!
Guards, bring shelter to all homeless and weak in Agrabah! Workers, build big, strong houses! We need to make new homes! Healers, take a look at the women and children, as well as the elder people! Give the poor men a job they can do! Go, go, go! We have pretty much to do!“
When you heard Tenya give out orders, you looked up and didn’t see a spolied prince stand a few feet in front of you. You saw a ruler, who took his role seriously. You were glad.
Then, you looked at Izuku with a hopefull smile. “They are going to help us, right?”, you asked, and Izuku smiled down at you, who was nestled between his arms. “Yes, they are.”
You then hugged him. “I’m glad you made me come with you.”
...
Should I make another chapter?

★ Sometimes, Tenya took things for granted.
★ There was this one time, Bakugou broke Tenya Iida’s glasses. Tenya just scolded him softly and put on brand new glasses!
★ Whenever Iida and Y/N went out and hung out. Y/N always complains how the things they see around shops were way too overpriced, but Iida always says that it wasn’t overpriced and it was “According to its quality.” The quality wasn’t even that great!
★ Y/N honestly had enough and decided to distance themself from hangouts with Iida involved. That includes some Deku Squad hangouts.
★ And Iida seems to notice that.
★ — ★
“C’mon N/N!! Just this once? You never hang out with us as often anymore!!” Uraraka pleaded, tugging onto Y/N’s sweater. “I’m really busy, Ochako-” “I won’t take that as an excuse!! You’re coming and that’s it!!” The brunette cut off the H/C’s words and dragged them to their dorm to change their pants, Uraraka stood guard outside so Y/N wouldn’t escape this hangout. (Reader was wearing pajama pants. Can’t blame them, pajama pants are amazing.
Once the H/C hair was done changing. The squad went out to the mall. It was bustling with people, looking to shop with various items. “I heard there’s a discount at Build-A-Bear! C’mon Deku!!” Uraraka grabbed Midoriya’s arm and dragged him towards the workshop. Tsuyu said she was gonna go ahead and buy some clothes since she gave away her old ones. Y/N nodded and decided to go on their own, but a blue haired boy wouldn’t let them.
“Wait! L/N!” The boy called out but they chose to ignore his calls. The boy ended up following Y/N’s fast pace who was trying to get away from him. “What is up with you?” He asked in an upset tone, finally catching up to Y/N. “Fucking leave me alone, Iida.” They spat, “Hey! Language!!” He scolded but the H/C just won’t hear it, putting their headphones/earphones on and played music and walked again, leaving Iida behind. ‘Oh, c’mon!!’ He said to himself furiously and sprinted towards Y/N.
★ — ★
After so many times of getting ditched by Y/N everytime the squad decided to go and hangout to shops and malls, he decided to put a stop to this “nonsense.”
He waited ‘till Y/N excused themself to his room and made his move.
“L/N!” He called out to Y/N who turned around to see the blue haired boy behind. “What is it?” L/N asked, already annoyed. “I should ask you that. You've been ignoring me every time we go out.” He said. “It’s none of your business.” The other student responded. “Well it is. As your friend-” “As your friend? I really don’t care.” Y/N said, cutting him off. Y/N sighed in frustration and went back to walking to their dorm room. "Don't you dare walk away! I'm still talking to you!!" But Y/N only responded with "Who are you? My dad?"
Iida continued to follow them back to their dorm where he finally got his answer.
"L/N, I had enough of your sickening attitude! You have been avoiding me and I need to know why!" Iida spilled all his worries. Y/N stayed silent with a shock face by his words. Iida just opened the door behind them and grabbed them inside.
Iida was stronger than L/N so he easily placed L/N onto their bed but they just stood right back up with a angered face. "What is up with you?!" They yelled at him, "I should ask the same thing! For months, you have been avoiding me! Did I do something wrong? Have have I done to make you so angry?" He asked, he kept in asking and asking and that surely ticked L/N off.
"You are fucking spoiled!" L/N finally spoke with a harsh voice. "How am I spoiled?" He asked, "Really? Do you really have to ask?!" They asked with an angered tone. "You always had expensive things and honestly practically show off!! Every time I'm with you and I complain about something that is way overpriced, you say "Oh! It's not that expensive!" And not to mention that you always obliviously show off how much MONEY you have!" They said, frustrated. "That's because my parents work hard! They always tried to-"
"That's easy for you to say for someone who had EVERYTHING they've ever wanted!! YOU never had to work hard for once in your life! Everything was given to you on a silver plate, YOU DON'T KNOW THE FEELING OF HAVING TO WORK JUST FOR RENT WHEN YOUR PARENTS WASTE AWAY!!"
Y/N took heavy breaths after letting all that out. Iida just stared at them in a state of shock. He didn't know they felt like that. "I- I didn't know that.." He muttered softly with his head down, "Of course you didn't know. Now, is that all?" They asked. "Yeah. I guess." Iida said before bowing and leaving the H/C's dorm.
After that day, Iida tried his best to fix his attitude and eventually stopped this habit of his.

Haruto Hasegawa slipped off his shoes and placed his keys into the bowl next to the front door as he stepped into his house, the house seemed cold and empty “darling I’m home” he called out for his wife, “hey Zeus, I’m home buddy” he call his dog, suddenly the big ball of black and white fur came running around the corner, the husky jumped on the man and started kissing him, “oh hello, good boy” Haruto rubbed his dog’s head and face as he laughed, however as he rubbed the dog’s back it felt wet. “Did you and Emi play with the hose? You’re all wet” Haruto continued to laugh as he push his dog off him, the man wiped his hands of onto his pants and watched at his dog ran off down the hallway.
The house was dark which was out of the ordinary because even if his wife wasn’t home she’d still leave the hallway light on and when she was home no matter where she was in the house every single light would be on, “hey Emi, are you home?” Haruto called while he hurriedly followed his dog, when the man turned the corner he was meant with the scene of his wife face down in a pool of dark liquid, the man rushed to her side and turned her over only to find her face had been caved in. “Emi… Emi-chan… are you still with me?” Haruto whimper now realising why his dog was all wet, the dog wasn’t covered in mud but in his wife’s blood.
“She’s dead, she died a couple of hours ago” a voice deadpanned, the man placed his wife down and stood up, he looked around the living room and spotted a naked female figure standing at the window looking out of it. “Who the fuck are you?!” Haruto shouted as he took a step forward “I think you know, Sensei” the figure continues facing the window, the man gasped and stumbled back into the wall, “that’s impossible… I… we… but you were…” his words came out in a scramble, “dead… I was dead, because you killed me… all of you killed me… and yet I’m here” you coldly chuckled, your eyes trained on tree in the backyard.
Everything was cold and still, “you know, I’ve always dreamed of being a mother and I was so excited for a baby… I thought you really loved me…” you held your breath as you spoke, not wanting to give away any emotions, “but you don’t and you never have… now look what I’ve done” you glanced at the man over your shoulder and once you made eye contact with the man he lunged for the house phone, as he dialled numbers and put the phone to his ear you ran to him. “Come help me! She going to kill me!” Haruto shouted into the phone, before you drove the kitchen knife you’d been holding this entire time into his side, the man sputtered and looked at you, as the operator on the phone asked what was happening, “I’m sorry dear, please forgive me” you smiled and lightly kissed his cheek. “Why…?” Haruto asked as the phone slipped out of his hands and dropped onto the floor, “Why…? Isn’t it obvious…?” You hummed as you gripped the handle of the knife before giving it a twist, you had an unnaturally wide smile on your face that made you cheeks hurt. “you did this, you made me like this” you chuckled as you threw his words back in his face, “you psycho bitch!” He hissed as he spat blood in your face, you frowned and pulled the knife from his side. “You really are vile sensei” you wiped the blood from your face and dropped the knife, you turned to walk away however you were struck and fell to the ground, you were than flipped onto your back and suddenly had Haruto’s hands around your neck. Air stopped flowing to your lungs as your vision blurred and spotted, you could hear Haruto spew obscenities at you before you completely blacked out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sound of a tune being whistle came towards you, suddenly you shot up into a sitting position, your head spun and you took a deep breath in, your lungs filling with as much air as they’d allow. You heard a gasp and your eyes focused on the source of the noise, coming into your line of sight was a man with a white lab coat and no defining features aside for the glasses sitting on the end of his nose.
The image of Haruto Hasegawa flashed into your mind and you jumped off the cold examination table, before tackling the man to the ground and hitting him. “Help! Help! Zombie! Zombie!” The man shouted as you punched him and pulled at his hair, suddenly a man in some kind of armour came running into the room and pulled you off the other man before coming the victim to your attack. You continued to punch the new man but when you realised that wasn’t working, you moved onto scratching at his face, however you were pulled off the armoured man before being wrapped in what seemed like a scarf, “calm down, we’re not going to hurt you” said the man holding the scarf, you looked towards him, finding his hair standing up and his eyes glowing, you glared daggers at him before speaking, “let me go.” You hissed as you struggled to get out of his scarf, your eyes searched the room to find away out, however you were meet with a woman in a white bodysuit with a black corset standing in the only doorway out. “Midnight now!” The man in armour shouted and then the woman ripped the sleeve of her bodysuit, a mist came from her and before you released it you blacked out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your close friend Rei sat at his desk on his phone, “I think I’m going crazy” he spoke in a hushed tone and the person on the other end of the phone laughed, “don’t laugh Minoru, I’m serious… it’s like she’s hunting me” Rei whispered as he looked around his room before looking out his window. As Rei finished his phone call with his friend, he watched the small red spider Lily bush he had planted a few weeks ago, just after your ‘accident’. “Darling we’re going to be leaving now, are you sure you don’t want to come?” Rei attention was turned to his bedroom door were his mother stood, “no I’m fine staying home, I have to study” he smiled before focusing on his exercise book, Rei’s mother nodded and spared a quick goodbye before leaving.
Rei read through his class notes and writing down important dot point, flipping through his note cards before his stomach growled, Rei sighed and slumped his way to the kitchen, the boy make a cup of instant noodles and made his way back into his room before sitting back at his desk. “Hi Rei-chan, you miss me?” Asked a soft yet hoarse voice, Rei jumped to his feet and spun around to look at the source of the voice…
It was you, but how could that be? You were dead, Rei knew you were dead, he held you decapitated head. Yet here you are, alive and breathing, just sitting there on his bed naked, covered in dirt and still as beautiful as ever…
“How are you… alive?” Rei asked slowly as he reached for the blanket on the back of his desk chair, he passed it to you trying to not get too close. “I just am, thank you for the flowers” you hummed standing to your feet, while discarding of the blanket he passed you, “I need your help Rei-chan, can you do that for me?” You walked over to him before wrapping your arms around his neck, your friend leaned in slightly “I’d do anything for you” he whispered as he draped his arms around your waist and pressed in close. Rei knew he shouldn’t have but you’re just too inviting he just couldn’t help himself, Rei internally cursed himself for his lack of control before he completely gave in and rested his face in the crook of your neck. “I’m so sorry, will you ever forgive me” Rei hummed against your skin which caused you to giggle, “that tickles Rei-chan…” you pressed in even close “…I never hated you, it was always him” you ran your finger in to the hair on the nape of his neck, before pulling it hard. “Are you really alive? I’m not going crazy, am I?” Rei sighed as you tugged at his hair, you smiled letting go of his hair before grabbing one of his hand and pressing it to your sternum, Rei blushed as his fingers lightly brushed against your breast, but more importantly he could feel your heart thumping away, it was beating at a steady rhythm. Rei was at a loss for words, the heart that had been stabbed, then ripped out of your chest and passed you him, the heart that was small enough you fit in one of his hands, the heart he had buried in his backyard was now back in your chest beating. “What did you need my help with?” Rei look up from your chest and watched a large mischievous smile form on your lips, you cupped his face with your hands and leaned in, “I need your sister’s spare uniform and I’ll need you to act like it’s your first time seeing me alive tomorrow” you smiled and continued on with explaining your plans.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rei sat anxiously waiting for everything to unfold all while his class chatted away aimlessly, he was too distracted to focus on anything his classmates were saying, all he could think of was the way your body moulded to his last night. You said it was a thank you for all his help but he knew you were just being cruel, you gave him what he wanted. Closeness. But that’s all it was your body close to his, there was no feelings behind your actions, no longing behind your touches, no love behind your kisses, no meaning behind your stare. Nothing, there was nothing but sex. Rei was greatly satisfied by it, but it was hollow and he knew it meant nothing to you, despite your whispers of ‘how much you cared for him’, you didn’t really care for him, you pitied him.
Soon the chatter came to a sudden stop when Hasegawa Sensei stumbled in. The man looked ragged and tired, his hair is damp and tangled, his eyes were bloodshot and puffy, his clothes were haphazardly thrown on loosely clinging to his body and forearms were littered with scratches, “hey Sensei, you look rough… everything alright?” Called out one of the students, however before the man could answer a voice interrupted him.
“Oh Sensei must of had a pretty crazy night, I know I did” you chuckled, Rei watched as everyone’s faces turn stark white and Hasegawa Sensei looked as though he went through a range of emotions before settling on frustration, “HOW!? HOW ARE YOU STILL FUCKING HERE?!” He yelled and you only tilted your head, “TWICE! I’VE KILLED YOU TWICE! AND… and… a-and…” he falls to his knees and gripped at his hair, “and I just keep coming back…” you smiled as you walked up the man and lay a hand over his, “Sensei I’ll always come back…” you softly chuckled and this sent the man into a rage, he suddenly shot to his feet and wrapped his hands around your neck, before you both fell to the ground, you laughed hysterically like you almost enjoyed it while Hasegawa Sensei yelled nonsense. Everyone stayed seated they were too stunned to move, however Rei quickly stood and before he had a chance to run over to you, the Flame her; Endeavor burst into the room and ripped the man off you after him came in, Eraserhead, Ingenium, Midnight and several police officers. It didn’t take them much to apprehend the man, “hey you, we need you to take care of this one” call one of the police officers, following this another you walk through the classroom doors with a woman who had ash blonde hair and turquoise eyes, you placed a hand on your copy’s shoulder and suddenly she melted into a puddle of blood like goo. “Come on now, we’re leaving, say goodbye to your classmates” the woman spoke calmly, you shared a quick goodbye and walked over to Rei before placing a small crumpled piece of paper on his desk, then turned to leave but before you could leave the woman spoke up in a harsh hiss, “all of you have avoided a very… very long prison sentence thanks to this girl, you should all be grateful” then she placed a hand on your shoulder. “Where is she going? Where are you taking her?” Rei called out now realising you goodbye seemed permanent, “this young girl has shown great potential, so we’ve recommended her to start at UA next year, so we’ll be taking her to Shizuoka Prefecture and until her year at UA starts she’ll be training at the hero commission and also be mentoring under Midnight over there” the woman smiled and ushered you out the door, leaving all the young students stunned, because not only did they fail to kill you, they got you a one way ticket to UA’s hero course.
Rei looked at the note you left him and it made him feel slightly sick, the note read…
“I hope that you never forget me.”
…of course Rei would never forget you, not after everything that happened, not after last night, he’d never forget you.
Ya know what sucks?? Not enough Iida as an older brother fics. Iida is such a comfort character to me and it just sucks not being able to find fics like this of him because I feel like they 100% should exist. In my opinion, he's quite underrated.
That being said I thought maybe you could write a fic in which Iida is an older brother to a not-so-high academically achieving reader who, despite having the capabilities, doesn't even try to go towards the hero path due to feeling as if Iida has already taken that role and that there is no use in two heroes with the same quirk so "why even try?". Perhaps with Iida trying his best to be their support system but them still lashing out at him due to their own insecurity and feeling as if he does it out of pity. They don't hate him they just think that he has no way of understanding what and how they feel.
Please don't feel pressure or anything like that to write this. Write it only if you wanna, you can, and it's not causing you problems in your IRL schedules.
Remember to rest, drink water and eat! Also, stretch every 20 minutes if you're sitting :)) AND POSTURE!! WATCH YOUR POSTURE PLSS D:
Hi!!
Yep. Not enough Iida fics definately sucks. In ANY genre. Wether it's romantic relationships, friendships or sibling relationships, I very rarely find him in fics :((
Agreed. They should exist 110%.
Please, you provide me with an idea and prompt THIS GOOD with an UNDERRATED CHARACTER with perfect descriptions of how he would be as an older bro, and you think that I can resist writing this?? Pft, we both know the answer to that.
Anyways that might take some time since fictober just started and I have to get more of my requests out, but I'm gonna make sure it comes as fast as possible!!
Hehhe, thanks, you too! Also I love how you are calling out my posture, it's really giving the Hunchback of Notre Dame-
Thank you for your request!! Love ya!!🫶🏻
Cheating Dilf Izuku END
Husband Midoriya Izuku x Wifey Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: Angst
[PART 3] [Cheating Dilf Izuku Masterlist]
You hated hospitals.
You sat in the waiting room, your own minor injuries attended to long ago as you sat beside Momo. Horikoshi Hero Hospital had seen enough of you and you doubted this would be the last time you saw it. You could barely keep it together as you prayed and prayed. You were shaking like a leaf in fear.
Toshinori, you and Kane had just made it out when the building collapsed. It was terrifying because you had no idea what had happened to Izuku but you had to get the kids to safety and to a healer as quickly as possible. Reinforcements and first responders arrived quickly on the scene and luckily with a healing quirk, getting Kane’s concussion healed was easy but Toshinori had to be taken to the hospital. Once you had the boys safely in the arms of paramedics, you had run back with cuts and bruises from the collapse, to where you last saw Izuku.
You couldn’t watch the TV as your legs bounced up and down. A video of you pulling at rubble trying to find your husband under it all played. With your direction, they had managed to find him alive thankfully but you were forced into an ambulance to get checked out.
With Jigsaw found and pronounced dead on the scene, your husband was claimed a hero.
However, he was fighting for his life in theatre.
Tenya sat with you, Momo and Shoto. Mina and Hanta were looking after the boys along with your mother-in-law, allowing you to wait here till your husband woke up. Toshinori was asleep in the paediatric wing, his arm being in a cast and he would be allowed to go home tomorrow.  You felt like you could barely breathe as you sat there waiting. It had been longer than ten hours and you were just hoping that maybe, maybe by some miracle, Izuku was still alive.
You hated what he did to you, you hated that he cheated and he didn’t talk to you. But you were far more afraid of losing the one man who had loved you more than himself, more than anything. You needed him a lot more than you cared to admit and the thought of losing him made you sick to your stomach.
You loved Midoriya Izuku and if he died, you were going to kill him.
“Mrs Midoriya.” At the sound of your name, you looked up as the leading surgeon of the hospital walked over to you.
You stood up from where you sat, looking to him for answers and so did your friends. You looked to him as you held your hands to your chest. “Is… Is he…” You couldn’t get it out, in fear that your hope would be false placed.
He nodded his head. “He’s alive, Mrs Midoriya.”
You let out a relieved sigh as you nearly stumbled back. Shoto and Tenya held you up right, making sure you wouldn’t fall. A tear left your eye as you nodded your head, indicating that you were fine, as you lifted up your head to look back up at the doctor. You motioned for him to continue which he did.
“Your husband’s a fight Mrs Midoriya. He was very lucky that there was little internal bleeding and most internal organs were not injured nor punctured in the collapse. However…” He hesitated as he looked to your friends.
You instantly could tell that this might be a sensitive matter so you looked to Tenya. He nodded his head as you stepped away from them to walk a bit of a distance with the doctor. “Yes?” You asked softly.
He looked at you sympathetically as he led you towards your husband’s hospital room. “When the first responders had found him in the area you had indicated, they had found that a considerate amount of rubble had fallen on his legs. We tried our best and although we managed to save them we later found out a spinal injury that, well…” He hesitated and you knew what that meant. Your face fell at the implications. “Unfortunately, Mrs Midoriya, your husband is paralysed from the waist down.”
You were speechless at what was said to you.
Paralysed? As in-
“So he’ll never…” You found this hard to say too.
The doctor nodded his head. “He won’t ever walk again.” He confirmed your suspicions, making you still. “The hero commission has offered that we do stem cell treatments to try and rectify what has happened. It would take a while but previous treatments and trials have a sixty percent success rate in succeeding and giving him a chance at walking again.” You swallowed down hard as you followed the doctor, knowing that that would be the best course of action, however you knew how much being a hero meant to Izuku. “The technology and science of it all is still new and it does not work on everyone but the hero commission has high hopes it will work for him. We just need the go ahead from you and we can start. The sooner the better.” Finally, you both stopped in front of a door. You hesitated and motioned to it. He nodded his head. “You can sit with him. The anaesthesia should be wearing off but it’s still not sure whether or whether not he would wake up.”
You nodded as you put your hand on the door handle and walked in, closing the door behind you. The room was dark despite the dim lights as you walked in. The beeping of the machines unnerved you as you walked closer towards him. You had gotten used to it and you hated that fact. It always reminded you of those moments where Izuku would have some close calls but he always tried to minimise those ever since you started your family.
You finally got to the side of his bed where he was. Izuku lay there sleeping, most cuts and bruises healed by a healing quirk and for the most part he looked fine, besides a bandaged arm, the IVs connected to him and the oxygen mask. However, as your eyes went down you had to bite back a sob. Of course, you couldn’t see the scars over the blanket but just knowing that he would most likely never move his legs again, made you have to cover your mouth.
You shakily sat down at his side, the seat beside him that was positioned just for you. You were glad that the Horikoshi Hero Hospital was the only hospital in Japan that allowed twenty-four hour visitation for family, which meant you didn’t have to leave his side.
You were scared to take his scarred hand.
He had taken this sacrifice for you. He had done this for you and your boys, so that you wouldn’t have to live in fear of Jigsaw escaping again or for another sacrifice to be made. He had basically sent himself as a martyr to die for you, when he knew you hated him for what he did. When he knew that you would barely even let him touch you in private, let alone acknowledge anything he did.
You bit back your sobs as your head fell. He was trying so hard with the boys. He tried so hard. He took time off and stayed all day with Koda and took the boys to school and picked them up. He gave you time to breathe. He would gift you flowers every day, do the laundry, take the boys out for ice-cream after school. He was trying so hard, and you shut him down at every turn.
You were just… you were so angry with him. You loved him so much but you were so disappointed and he knew that.
Yet he didn’t stop.
He respected everything you said and did. He blocked Ochaco’s number and went to a therapist every week. He slept on a futon in your bedroom instead of on the bed because you weren’t comfortable with him there. He always tried to speak to you about things that were insignificant despite you shutting down every conversation that wasn’t about the boys or the house.
He was trying.
And you hated that you loved him.
And now you hated that you hated him despite loving him all the same.
“Izuku…” You let out quietly as you kept your head down as you grasped his hand in yours. “You’re so fucking stupid.” You let out tightening your hold on him in anger. “How could you sacrifice yourself like that? And leave me all alone? I can’t-” You felt yourself choke up. “I can’t raise the boys without you. I could never do that. I’m not as strong as you think I am. Did you think I would be alright because you thought I hated you?” You asked gently.
You felt a sob vibrate out of you as you rested your head on the bed. You sniffed as you tried to pull yourself together but you couldn’t. You cried. You sobbed and you shook your head. You brought his hand to your face. He always loved to hold your face, to hold your head, to touch your neck. To feel you. You wanted Izuku to feel you. You wanted him to hold you.
You wanted your husband.
“I don’t!” You confessed. “I don’t hate you! I was so disappointed that I wasn’t enough for you! But I couldn’t bring myself to leave you. I love you. Just… just please…” You sobbed as you held onto his hand as the quiet beeping of his heart rate monitor went off in the room.
“Am I in heaven?” The voice took you by surprise as you stiffened and looked up from where you were sitting. Izuku was looking at you with a tired expression, his green eyes were gentle and soft as he looked up at you. “Or is there an angel sitting next to me?” He asked with a smile.
You paused as you took in what he had just said. You couldn’t help but laugh as you dropped your head shaking it. “That was horrible.” You laughed.
“Too much, my love?” He asked tiredly. It took him only a second before he realised. “Shit- sorry I mean-”
“No, It’s okay.” You tightened your hold on his hand as you smiled at him. “It isn’t too much.” You hesitated to ask. “Did you hear everything?”
He hesitated. He shook his head. “No, not at all.” He denied, clearly lying to you.
You closed your eyes in embarrassment. “You heard everything didn’t you?”
“Every word. To be fair, you aren’t a very quiet crier.” He confessed making you groan. He chuckled as he lay looking at you, his eyes never leaving your face. You felt him move his fingers over your knuckles. “I’m glad you’re here.” He spoke softly. “I didn’t think…” He let out a soft scoff. “Honestly, I didn’t think I’d live to see you again, nevertheless to you sitting by my side.”
You fought a smile to your face as you shrugged. You wanted to say so much to him but with him looking at you, you found it hard to do so. “We still need to go to Okinawa, remember?” You spoke softly.
You watched as his eyes widened with a light in them. A grateful and relieved smile on his face. “Really?” He asked with a whisper. “Do… do you mean it?” He asked.
You nodded with a chuckle. “Yes.”
He leaned back against his pillow closing his eyes with a smile on his handsome face. “I’m so glad.” He whispered. He lay there for a moment before turning back to you. “So hit me with it, what bones did I break this time?” He asked with a humerous smile.
You did not smile.
Instantly he noticed that you weren’t smiling. You hesitated as you looked down away from him. You weren’t sure how you were going to tell him this nor what you were going to say. You looked to him with a broken expression. You carefully stood up and adjusted his hospital bed so that it could incline so he could sit up a bit.
Izuku gave you a weird look. “Y/N, what’s this about?” He asked with a chuckle. “I’ve heard it all, okay. You don’t have to-” He stopped talking for a moment. He let out a soft scoff before looking down again. “I… Why can’t I feel my legs?” He asked as he looked to you. You didn’t say anything as you just stared at him. Izuku froze for a second before looking back down at his legs. “Y/N… Y/N I’m serious. I- I can’t-”
“You injured your spinal cord.” You whispered, finally answering him. However, that was all he needed to know the severity of his injury.
It was deathly silent for that moment despite the sound of the machines.
Suddenly you noticed that his hand was shaking. He opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. His eyes wide as he looked at you but then he looked back down at his legs. Suddenly you noticed the rapid sounds of his heart rate monitor and breathing rate.
“Izuku, Izuku you have to calm down.” You told him as you held his hand tighter and moved to hug him.
However, his heartrate didn’t calm down and only started to climb.
He shook his head as tears started to fall from his eyes. He bit back cries as he held onto you with hands, gripping onto hard as he tried not to fall into shock.
“Is everything alright!?” Running in were two nurses.
“He’s awake!” You shouted at them. “Call the doctor.” Immediately one of them ran out while the other one ran off somewhere. “Izuku, breathe for me. Just breathe.” You told him as you held him, putting a hand to his face. “I’m here. I’m right here, my love. Just breathe.”
The other nurse came back and stuck a needle in a bottle he brought. He took a quick measurement before moving to your husband’s IV and sticking the needle in. “Give him a minute, he’ll calm down in a bit. It’s okay Mr Midoriya, everything is going to be fine.” The nurse said as he placed down the needle and moved to grab another blanket.
It did indeed only take a minute before you noticed his heartrate start to gradually start to subside. His grip on you eased as he lay back but you held onto him. You saw the tears that left his eyes but never heard a cry. He looked at you with a broken expression.
Your shoulders sagged. “Izuku, I’m so sorry. You won’t be able to still be a he-”
“I won’t be able to dance with you.” You looked down at him confused as to why he said that. Izuku looked at you with a sad expression. He blinked as more tears fell. “How… how can I play outside with the boys? Or train Toshinori?”
You just looked at your husband confused. Why was he thinking about you and the boys when his career that he had spent close to three decades cultivating, would be over.
“Don’t worry Mr Midoriya.” You turned around to see the doctor who had just entered your husband’s hospital room. “With enough physical therapy, you’ll be able to walk and move no problem. We just need your consent on something…”
After explaining everything that had happened, his injury in the T12 area of his spine and certain adjustments needed to his life, Izuku seemed pretty quiet but he understood and thanked the doctor for everything he had done to ensuring he lived. It was a tough first few hours. Izuku had nerve pains as well as discomfort and whenever he did manage to fall asleep he’d wake up in a panic due to not being able to feel his legs anymore.
Unfortunately, they had to give him sedatives so that he could sleep for more than a few minutes at a time. In that time you managed to go home and get a shower as well as pack some of Izuku’s comfortable clothes and items before going to see the boys, picking them up to come to the hospital. You had left them in the waiting room for a moment with Inko, making sure Izuku was alright with seeing them right now before letting them in.
“So dad will need a wheelchair? THAT’S SO COOL!” Hero let out loudly as he looked up at his father.
Asahi adjusted his glasses with a disappointed sigh. “Not really. Dad’s still normal, he just can’t use his legs right now.”
“So… he can’t climb the stairs anymore?” Hero blinked before his green eyes widened as he looked at his father excitedly. “DAD! Can we get an elevator in our house?”
Izuku leaned back with a chuckle against a pillow as he looked down at his boys that surrounded him. He was glad that the boys seemed to be taking this well, surely better than he did. “If mom says yes.” He stated optimistically.
You let out a chuckle as you shook your head. “If we did, then only dad can use it. Not you.”
“Aww. What?”
Asahi turned to his younger brother offended on his father’s behalf. “Dad’s the one who’s paralysed not you!” He reminded his younger brother.
Koda sat next to him on the bed, holding the little bunny teddy bear, staying cosied up to his dad with a frown. He looked up at him. “You okay, daddy?” He asked softly.
Izuku let out a soft laugh and ruffled his green hair. “I’m fine buddy. I’ll be alright.” You could tell that he was forcing out everything he was saying to make the kids feel better. “I just need some practice walking again and I’ll be back in shape in no time.” He gave one of his ProHero smiles that made others feel at ease.
Inko looked to her son with a sympathetic expression but nodded her head. “Alright boys, we should let your father get some rest. He needs it.”
“Aww.” Hero frowned with a pout as he was herded out the room. “But he’s spent the whole day asleep.”
“No. He was in surgery.” Asahi reminded him.
“Same thing.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle at that. But surprising you was the door being thrown open not even a minute after they left as your eldest son, Toshinori was at the door. His good arm opened the door as he stood there in sweatpants and a t-shirt, his arm still in its cast.
His eyes were wide as they locked onto his father. “Dad…” He let out quietly. Seeing his father awake and alive had his breath choking in his throat. Before a stuttered breath came out of his throat and soft sobs as his eyes filled with fat Midoriya tears. “DAD!” Toshinori practically flew into his father’s arms as he wrapped his arm around him. “I’m sorry! I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop him! I thought you were dead a-and I- I can’t be as strong and as brave as you! I thought- I thought-!” He let out half angry but half sad.
Izuku’s eyes widened in surprise, but his expression softened. He put a hand on top of Toshinori’s head of curly green hair with a chuckle. “Toshinori…” At the sound of his name, your eldest son looked up at Izuku who for the first time since getting told the news, held a genuine smile on his face. “My perfect sprout, I’m proud of you.” You watched Toshinori’s pupils shrink before expanding as he bit down on his lip trying to stop himself from crying. “You did your best and you held your own for as long as you could. You’re stronger than me, when I was your age I couldn’t even control One for All, let alone make sure I didn’t break my entire body using it. You are so much more braver and stronger than you think. I’m so proud to call you my son.”
You couldn’t help but smile as you watched Toshinori sob in his father’s arms, his arms around Izuku as he took in everything his father said. You couldn’t help but notice the tears in Izuku’s eyes at the interaction. You knew that somewhere deep inside this helped Izuku’s inner boy too.
It took a month before Izuku was released from hospital, but in that time your husband had been pretty… quiet to say the least. He barely spoke to you and according to the nurses and his new physiotherapist, he barely spoke at all to them either. But after so many tests and therapy sessions were done, the doctors finally cleared him to go home and had told you of all the physiotherapy appointments and everything that would be a new adjustment in his life.
The first thing Izuku noticed when you had wheeled him into your home was the few changes as he went by. His eyes widened at the sight of the biggest change so far. “You… got…”
“AN ELEVATOR!” Hero cheered as he motioned to the glass elevator that went up to the second floor of your home. “Mom said yes.”
Izuku turned to look at you with a raised eyebrow. You shrugged. “It seemed like a good choice.” You told him honestly. You turned to Toshinori and gave him a slight look.
Toshinori instantly understood the look and gave a curt nod, his arm fully healed from the healing quirks and after resting it from the surgery. “Hey guys, lets go play Just Dance!”
“OH YAH!”
“That would be fun!”
Toshinori carefully took Koda by the hand and led the four year old away from you and his father so that you could both talk. You turned forward but Izuku was already pushing himself into the elevator. You stepped inside with him, allowing the both of you inside. It was silent amongst the both of you. Neither one of you saying anything.
Finally the elevator door opened allowing Izuku to adjust himself in the wheelchair but allowed you to push him out onto the second floor. He didn’t object to where you were taking him. You took him to your bedroom, allowing him to see all the adjustments you had made. You let go of the handles of his wheel chair allowing him to venture on by himself. He pushed forward as he looked around. For one thing, he noticed that the bed was lower to the ground. He also noticed something on the wall.
He wheeled himself closer to it. His eyebrows furrowed. He motioned towards it. “What’s this?” He asked softly.
“It’s an intercom.” You stated as you walked over to it. You motioned to all the buttons. “There’s one that leads to every boys room as well as to downstairs. Just in case. It’s easier than shouting if we need them or if they need us. I’m hoping I won’t regret this decision.” You stated with a nod of your head.
Izuku let out a soft scoff but wheeled himself away from the wall and headed straight towards the bathroom. He noticed all the new additions that made your bathroom wheelchair accessible. He looked around at it all.
“What do you think?” You asked as you stood in the middle of the room.
Izuku was silent as he looked around the room before turning to look at you. He turned to face you. “Y/N…” He looked around, speechless for a moment before his eyes settled back on you. He seemed a bit uncomfortable but he forced a smile to his face. “I think this is a bit too much. You didn’t have to do this, really.”
Your eyebrows furrowed. “But I did.”
“No you didn’t.”
“Izuku-”
“I appreciate this, I really do.” He told you, closing his eyes briefly. “But I don’t deserve this. Really, just… you didn’t have to change your room like this.”
“Our room.”
He shook his head with a chuckle. “No, your room.”
You let out a sigh as you closed your eyes for a moment before opening it. “Izuku, I am not going to watch you sleep in another room or on the floor.”
“Y/N you shouldn’t be doing this. This!” He motioned down to his legs with an angry expression. “This doesn’t change anything! You shouldn’t be doing this, any of this!” He motioned around the room with a wide gesture of his hands. “The last thing I want to do, is subject you to this too!”
You let out a scoff. “Subject me to what, Izuku!”
“To a life like this!”
“Like what!”
“Y/N!”
“Izuku, this is exactly what separated us last time.” You took a step closer to him, your eyebrows furrowed as you frowned down at him. “I need you to communicate with me, to talk to me! What is so bad about this!”
“Y/N, I won’t have you spend the rest of your life like this! You deserve better!” He shouted back at you, eyes torn in agony as he stared up at you. “I broke my vows.” He put his hand to his chest, his left hand gleaming with the wedding ring you had gotten him. “I broke my vow to you to respect you and stay loyal to you! I promised you, when we got married, that I would be a man worthy of your love and devotion! Of your respect and submission. I promised you that and I broke it!” You froze were you stood as you saw tears well up in his beautiful green eyes, his eyes filled with so much pain. “I promised myself that I’d spend the rest of my life trying to rectify that, just to earn a sliver of your love and trust again, but look at me!” He let out with a pathetic laugh as he motioned to himself. “I’m half a man!”
You shook your head as you took a step closer to him. “Izuku…” You let out quietly.
“Y/N, I can’t-” His voice cracked as he looked away from you, his face pink as he tried to control his emotions. “I can’t even stand by myself let alone do anything! I will not ruin your life any more than I already have. The last nine months have been an agony for me. I lost you, I lost the boys, I lost my legs, I lost my career, I lost our son…” He hung his head in front of you, his hands gripping the railing of the wheels as he looked down away from you. You could see him shiver with so much pent-up emotion within him. “I will not let you turn yourself into a caregiver and ruin the beautiful life I was supposed to give you, more than I already have.” He whispered.
You were silent as you looked down at Izuku. You couldn’t help but feel the tears burn at your eyes. You crouched down in front of Izuku, taking his hands from his side and into your own. You looked up at the beautiful man in front of you. You gave him a weak but genuine smile as you looked up at his face, fat Midoriya tears streaming out of his eyes.
You rubbed your thumbs over his scarred knuckles. “Izuku…” You started out softly. “You are the same man right now than you have ever been, if not more so.” You told him honestly. “I do not see you any less of a man just because you’re paralysed or need help. I made a vow to you on our wedding day to stand by you in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, in life and in death and I meant that. I have yet to break it and I don’t ever plan on doing so. I don’t care if I have to help you shower for the rest of our lives, Izuku.” You let out with a soft laugh and a bright smile. “I don’t care if you aren’t the Number One hero anymore. You sacrificed yourself for me and for our son. That is the strongest thing a man could ever do.”
Izuku closed his eyes, tears falling down his face as he bit down sobs, wielding himself to try and not break down in front of you. He didn’t deserve your words and yet he was getting them. He just wanted to disappear.
“Izuku, I am your wife… and you are my husband.” He opened his eyes to look at you. You reached up to cup the side of his face with a gentle smile. “You’ve gotta do a whole lot more if you want to get rid of me.” You joked. He let out a soft scoff as he put a hand to cover your own as he buried his face in your hands. His grip on you turned harsh as he cried and you reached up and hugged him. You held him as you tapped his back soothingly. “We’re going to do this together, Zuzu. Even if we got to take baby steps first. We’ll get there.”
“Announcing, his excellency, the Number One ProHero of Japan, ProHero Deku and his wife Mrs Midoriya.”
You pushed Izuku’s wheelchair onto stage, the both of you stepping into the limelight. You were dressed in your family’s colours of white, gold and green. Izuku was dressed in a matching coloured suit as you took him to the centre of the stage. There were claps given but honestly, both of you couldn’t hear it. You were sure Izuku couldn’t.
This would be the last time he would address people as the Number One ProHero of Japan, and as an actively serving hero. You parked his wheelchair before putting a hand to his shoulder. He looked up at you, a cleanly shaven face but age still present in the grey hairs and small wrinkles. You nodded your head. He smiled as he put a hand over your own briefly before accepting the microphone as you took a step back. You always did that when he had to make an address.
It would always be the Number One hero and his wife standing at his side.
Izuku drew in a stuttered breath as he already felt tears in his eyes. “Twenty years ago, I became the Number One Hero of this country, it has been a rank that I have carried with honour and one I do not take for granted. I never thought this would be how I retired, I was hoping to have a few more years on me before I would let my eldest son take over my agency. However, life doesn’t always go as planned. So it is with a heavy heart that I officially announce my immediate retirement from on duty hero work. I would like to thank Japan for allowing me the honour of being at your service. If I could stand and bow, I would. Thank you, deeply.” He bowed his head and at the waist, far more than he should have and you did the same.
However, you saw the applause he received and knew that everything he had ever done was worth it, even now.
After that, you stirred Izuku down onto the floor where he received a lot of best wishes and gratitude. All that he was worth. You could tell by the smile he adorned on his face, he was keeping everything together until he could go home. He was still finding it rough to be in a wheelchair but he had made great progress. He was hoping to stand for his speech but that just wasn’t a reality right now. But he was getting there, deservingly so.
“You know Izuku,” Kirishima started as he stood beside his wife, her stomach still swollen with the baby girl she was carrying. He kept a hand on her hip, as he kept a hand in his pocket as he talked to your husband. “If you ever considerate, you could definitely go and teach at UA. After retiring myself, I quite enjoy it for a bit before I joined the Hero Council.” Your eyebrows raised forgetting that option. Kirishima had been one of the first of you all to retire from active duty work. Being a hero wasn’t a long job, most retiring by the age of thirty five and at most fourty-five.
You looked down at Izuku who’s eyebrows raised in surprise as well. “Well, I never thought of it.” He let out as he raised a hand to scratch the back of his neck. “But the commission did offer to put me on the council. It seems like a big decision to make.”
“Indeed.” You turned at the sound of a voice. Approaching the four of you was Katsuki, dressed in an all black suit with orange elements but on his arm was Ochaco. Your husband was the first to scowl but you kept your kind diplomatic smile out of duty. Katsuki smirked down at your husband. “Enjoy your retirement Deku. You deserve it after all the long years of service.” It almost sounded harmless, if you didn’t know Katsuki as well as you did.
Izuku forced a smile to his face as he leaned back with a breath. “Enjoy being Number One Kacchan, took you so long to get there.” He acknowledged, nodding his head. “Only took me injuring my back for you to surpass me.”
“Well, our prayers are answered differently.” You had to do a double take at Katsuki and what he had just said before he continued to speak. “Y/N, I have to thank you.” You finally saw something genuine on Katsuki and that was a smile. “For saving Kane’s life. It means the world to me that you saved my only child.”
You saw Eijiro stiffen at that mention, keeping his mouth shut at that. His wife kept a hand on him, trying to keep him calm. You could imagine, after the both of them had been married for over a decade and had both Kane and Satomi, it must have been hard for Eijiro to hear that. Satomi wasn’t Katsuki’s biologically but they still got their kids together.
You smiled with a nod. “It’s the least I can do. I love Kane and I would do it again.”
“I know you would. It’s what makes you the perfect mother.” He stated softly, almost with a reminiscent look.
Suddenly there was a flash of light and Katsuki had doubled over with a grunt as he cupped his groin. “Oh my goodness, Kacchan are you okay?” You heard your husband say with a surprised face as he looked up at the blond. “I am so sorry, I didn’t see your pathetic excuse of a manhood there.” You and Eijiro’s new wife looked at each other in shock as your daw dropped. Izuku looked up at Katsuki sympathetically. “I was trying to call a waiter but you were in the way.”
Katsuki let out a low growl as he glared at Izuku, trying to stand up straight. “Why you son of a-”
“Are you cussing me out because I’m disabled and I made a mistake?” Izuku asked putting a hand to his chest with a faux shocked expression. “How horrible, honestly I-”
“Izuku.” Ochaco let out sickeningly sweet as she smiled down at your husband. Izuku’s eyes flicked to her before he let out a deep breath and rubbed his eyes. She stood in a black dress but wore emerald green earings on her ears. Shameless. “That was a great speech, you gave. I know you are technically on retirement but I still need help on that case and-”
“I’m sorry, Uravity but I can’t get past your earrings.” Izuku stated as he looked up at her with a frown. “They do not suit you at all. Did I gift them?”
She looked taken a back and shocked at his words. “Uh… no, but-”
“Good. Now can you all excuse me,” Izuku made a look to you and you smiled. “I still need to do my rounds before I leave. It is a school night.” He stated as he pushed himself back. You took the handles of Izuku’s wheelchair as you stirred him away, the both of you heading away from Katsuki and Ochaco, waving to Eijiro and his wife. Izuku shook his head with a tsk. “Thank goodness I can’t stand because if I could, I would have punched him straight through a pillar.” You couldn’t help but giggle. “Hey, Y/N.”
“Yes Izu?”
He looked up at you for a moment, pupils round as he did so. “You look divine.”
You couldn’t help but soften at the compliment. You felt heat brush up your neck. “Thank you.”
Although you were both still at baby steps…
It was a start you were willing to take.
THE END
