"I'm not your Dada." Jaune chuckled, earning a wave of relief to echo across the room from both teams.

"I mean, you kinda are." Saphron shrugged, earning harsher gasps from the teams.

"How?"

"Well, you are the only positive male role model in his life." Terra said with a smile.

"What about Dad?"

"She said positive male role model." Saphron rolled her eyes. "Unless you consider telling dirty jokes and yelling at the TV positive, you're a lot better than he is."

"Dad does get pretty mad at his team." Jaune chuckled. "I guess I am your dada, huh, Adrian?"

"Dada!" Adrian reached out and grabbed Jaune's hoodie, pulling him closer.

"Aw~!" RWBY cooed along with the girls of JNPR. Ren simply smiled at the two.

"So, who is the father?" Blake asked as Jaune let Adrian tug his finger this way and that.

"My ex-boyfriend knocked me up before we broke up." Terra explained. "By the time I found out, I was already dating Saph, and he'd already left the kingdom."

"Jerk!" Ruby and Nora called at the same time.

"Well, it's his loss, right, Adrian?" Jaune took the babe into his hands.

"Dada! Dada!" Jaune lifted the boy into the air, chuckling at his giggling.

Ruby and Pyrrha admired the view of Jaune acting so fatherly to the boy that may not have been related by blood, but was related none the less, and felt their knees grown weak at the thought of him being a real father. Weiss felt something similar to the effect of admiration, but it was more nostalgic as she remembered her grandfather treating herself and her brother in a similar fashion. Yang also felt a bit of nostalgia, remembering how she'd raised Ruby as she did, and when looking at her now, couldn't help but feel proud of herself for the good job she did. Nora continued to scooch closer to Ren, who continued to scoot away.

Blake, however, noticed how Terra and Saphron looked to Jaune. With her double-hearing, she could hear heartbeats pretty well, and noted that their hearts quickened just a bit when talking about Jaune not being Adrian's father. It was a simple, but effective trick she'd learned in the White Fang, and it certainly worked. They were lying, but about what specifically, she wasn't sure. Looking to Jaune laughing and smiling at Adrian, who laughed and smiled back, she relented. Jaune would still care for Adrian, no matter what. And that was all that really mattered in the issue.

Jaune: For if he was my uncle, that also made him the brother of the widow's grown-up daughter. Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Jaune: My father's wife then had a son, that kept them on the run, and he became my grandchild. For he was my daughter's son.

Winter: It is a bit strange.

Jaune: My wife is now my mother's mother. And it makes me blue, because, she is my wife. She's my grandmother too.

Jaune: Now, if my wife is my grandmother then, I am her grandchild. And every time I think of it, it nearly drives me wild.

Weiss: As it should.
