kim seokjin

seokjin shows affection by doting on you. he loves to cook your favourite meals for you after hard days. he goes grocery shopping with you and buys anything that you randomly throw in the cart. seokjin showers you with compliments from the minute you get up in the morning, and presses kisses across your face to wake you up. he nags you when you’re not taking care of yourself and runs you baths whenever you feel sick. seokjin is the true gentleman, never letting you strain yourself to open a jar and he always holds the door for you and opens your car door without fail. seokjin catches your eye from across the room and winks at you, and he always talks highly of you in social settings to the point where he can’t help but brag about you.

kim namjoon

namjoon loves to show affection with you. he recommends you his favourite books and movies and he buys you random stuffed toys or little plants that remind him of you. he attempts to cook for you when he knows you’ve had a rough day, and he gives you the most genuine advice to help you. he loves taking you on dates to parks and cafes where the two of you can talk for hours. namjoon wraps you in his jacket whenever you’re cold and he lets you borrow his sweatshirts because he loves how cute you look. he lets you rest your head on his shoulder when he can tell you’re getting tired, and he loves to stroke your hair to help you fall asleep.

min yoongi

yoongi shows a lot of affection in subtle ways. he always passes you heat packs when he notices you’re cold, and he intertwines his hands with yours whenever he’s walking by your side. he keeps an eye on you at all times in social settings and is the type to always defend you if you’re not there. he won’t let you do anything other than rest in bed if you’re sick, and he brings you food and medicine with a forehead kiss. yoongi spends time with your family and becomes close with them because he knows how much it means to you. yoongi never fails to ask about your day, and he drops everything to sit and listen to you talk, running his fingertips along your sides.

jung hoseok

hoseok is the ideal boyfriend when showing affection. he is the type to want to know everything about you, and he listens so intently whenever you speak. he texts you things that remind him of you and he takes you on dates often, wanting to experience new places and new food with you. he picks up your calls on the first ring and he’s logged in to your online shopping accounts so he can buy whatever is in your wishlist. he remembers things that you mention liking and buys them for you - even if it was just a dress that caught your eye while walking past. hoseok watches the shows you recommend and listens to the songs you like, and he picks you up whenever you need a ride home even if it’s 2am.

park jimin

jimin loves showering you with affection. his hands have to be on you in some way at all times - around your waist, on your thighs, holding your hand etc. he gives you advice when you can’t decide what to wear, and he watches you get ready in silence as he admires you with a smirk. jimin taps his card to pay for your shopping before you even notice, and he would never let you pay for anything as long as he’s with you. he keeps up with your daily schedules and notices little changes like haircuts and new nails and always compliments them. he video calls you nearly every single night, no matter how tired he is because he loves seeing you and hearing about your day.

kim taehyung

affection is taehyung’s second language. if he knows you have to be up at a certain time, he’ll wake up 10 minutes earlier to make you a coffee and breakfast and have it by your beside table for when you wake up. he orders you a fresh bunch of flowers every week without fail, and texts you random messages throughout the day because he misses you. taehyung loves coordinating his outfit with yours and buys you so many clothes because he can’t help but spoil you. he writes you cute notes before he leaves in the morning, and remembers all of your orders at different food places. taehyung loves to compliment you and his camera roll is full of photos of the two of you.

jeon jungkook

jungkook is so thoughtful when it comes to affection. he feeds you snacks when you’re watching a movie together, and he lights your favourite scented candles before you come over to his place. he makes playlists of songs that he thinks you’ll like, and he back hugs you whenever you’re doing anything. jungkook loves to pinch your cheeks and he picks you up to kiss you after not seeing you in a long time. he always wants to make sure you’ve eaten and he cooks your favourite foods to cheer you up after a hard day. jungkook shows you any video he finds funny to make you laugh, and he never forgets to ask about your family and how your day was. he takes you out for dinner and calls you as soon as he drops you home, talking for hours until you both fall asleep.

AN UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER.

characters: yoongi x reader

genre: cute, comfort, short drabble

about: yoongi and reader fall in love slowly, and bonus him reacting to her jealous ex.

一 the evening darkness looms over the quiet city as Y/n walks on the street;

一 to her surprise, she sees Yoongi standing next to a car as if he was waiting for her though busy on his own.

一 she approaches him where he is, near the park with shaded trees and the roses in full bloom that smell so welcoming

一 Yoongi also sees Y/n right then and there and goes torwards her, the stare in his eyes beckons her to come closer

一 she approaches him and he is filled with an amazing feeling, he feels that Y/n really likes him just by sensing her presence alone: their greeting is limited to a polite interaction but they click immediately;

一 he invites her to get in his car and goes to buy cup icecream, giving it to her. Y/n appreciates his gesture and responds by receiving the cup with a smile. the fruit and vanilla taste of the ice cream makes her even more excited by their meeting. at the same time, she admits that he's very attractive and gentlemany: she enjoys the ice cream and talks to him about the movie she watched the night before.

一 Yoongi tells her about his misunderstanding with a good friend, and Y/n even offers advice on how to proceed in such a delicate situation; she tries to comfort him by taking his hand and smiling reassuringly, showing friendship and support for his saddened morale.

一 after eating the ice cream, they decide to walk holding hands and looking into each other's eyes. then, when Y/n is just getting back into his car, she notices her ex-boyfriend, whom she had broken up with because of himself, passing by on the street

一 he had been very selfish and jealous with her, and sometimes even aggressively so. for this reason Y/n left him, it had not been easy but she has chosen to put her life in order and make herself respected, being sincere and emotionally capable to fully deserve this much awaited comfort that she gave herself.

一 Yoongi perceives the unsettling emotion in Y/n's gaze and intervenes to save her from this would be incident: he gently pulls her towards him in the car with a safe and protective behaviour convinced by her frightened look一 and he kisses Y/n suddenly一 prolonging the kiss untill her ex gets the subtle message that he can no longer get together with her, and that now Yoongi is interested in Y/n, and leaves, before Yoongi starts the car and takes Y/n in the opposite direction of the city.

Sleepy Hugs & Kisses ~JHS

➜Pairing: Jung Hoseok x Reader ➜Genre: Fluff, One-Shot ➜Word Count: 1k ➜Summary: You're not the most open with your affection towards your boyfriend; PDA, pet names and stuff like that just isn't your love language. Hoseok, on the other hand, displayed enough of his love for the two of you combined. He had never seemed to mind your lack of expressiveness, and you had never found out why... Not until recently.

During one of your usual date nights, you and Hoseok run into a group of his old high school friends. Of course, he introduced you to them wrapping an arm around your shoulders and drawing you close to him, but you being you, a couple of minutes into the conversation, opted to withdraw back to your table and leave him space to catch up with his friends. You were focused on browsing through the menu when Hoseok's laughter reaches your ears causing a small smile to instantly appear on your lips. Once you raise your gaze towards him though, it immediately turns upside down at the sight of a girl having your boyfriend tightly squeezed into a side hug. Having recognised her as a member of his friend group, you prevent yourself from feeling any discomfort towards the girl or her what appears to be a friendly action. Even so, you feel a pang in your chest once you start pondering over the reason why it looks so easy for another person to be touching your boyfriend whereas you struggle at the mere thought of it. You'd be giving yourself no credit if you'd said that you haven't made any attempts before; yet every time you would end up cowardly shrinking away from the challenge. Your inner turmoil and self-doubt are temporarily paused when after a little while, Hoseok finally bids his friends goodbye and walks over to your table with a wide smile. He lays a soft kiss on the crown of your head before taking his seat across from you, openly expressing his excitement about continuing your date.

Throughout, the whole date you had been careful not to show any sign of having been affected by the scene you'd witnessed before; even if the sight of his friend’s physical contact with him still burned in your mind. On your walk back to your shared apartment, your eyes end up landing on Hoseok's hand swinging at his side as he walks and suddenly you're overcome with a strong desire to hold it. Hesitantly taking your hand out of your coat's pocket, you gingerly extend it towards him. However, you halt your movements before it gets to touch his. You can't; you just can't do it. Hoseok, who has noticed your failed attempt, offers you a good-natured smile and takes your hand with his own instead. The gesture makes your cheeks redden and warmth spread through your chest, but still, it doesn't appease the feeling of disappointment you have in yourself.

Once you've reached your home, the two of you follow through with your night routine before settling into your bed. Hoseok, having adapted to your boundaries, remains on his side of the bed giving you space. After bidding each other goodnight, followed by Hoseok reaching out to lay a small kiss on your forehead, the two of you soon fall asleep. The next morning, you wake up to the feeling of your body lying against something that most definitely isn't the mattress. Looking up, your eyes widen when you realise that actually you have been sleeping on top of your boyfriend, with your arms clinging onto his shoulders. "Good morning beautiful", Hoseok's gruff voice sounds as he smiles sleepily at you, having just woken up himself. "Good morning, uh... Sorry", you mumble awkwardly as you're about to get off of him only for him to wrap his arms around you holding you into place. "Leaving so soon?", he whispers in your ear, his lips brushing against it. You feel yourself shiver and your body goes stiff, still processing how you've wound up sleeping on top of him in the first place. "It's not the first time you do it", Hoseok mutters seeing through your internal wonder as he buries his face in your neck humming contently. "I figured you didn't realise you do it and I guessed that you'd feel bad when you found out, given your comfort zone, so every time I'd wake up earlier and move you over to your side again. Even if all I wanted was to keep you close until you woke up", his disclosure causes even more shock to colour your expression, leading to you uttering the first silly question that came to your mind. "Then why did you let me wake up on top of you today?", he chuckles at your current fidgety state and pulls his head away from your neck to be able to tenderly gaze into your eyes so he can answer your question. "Because, yesterday, I saw you worrying over it; over your lack of physical affection towards me... When all this time, you've unconsciously shown me how much you want to be close to me in your sleep. You know you occasionally pucker your lips when you're sleeping?". You feel yourself flash bright red at his words attempting to escape his embrace in order to hide your blushing face from him. Alas, he doesn’t allow you the liberty to do so, maintaining his arms’ firm hold around your body, which only leaves you with one choice; burying your flashed face against his chest. "No I don't!", you stubbornly deny his claim squeezing your eyes shut in embarrassment. "Yes, you do! And every time, I can't resist stealing a kiss or two!", he whispers teasingly in your ear causing you to perk up your head, looking at him incredulously while he simply shoots you a cheeky wink. "Hoseok!", you scold him still extremely abashed by all his revelations. "I wish I could say I'm sorry but I'm not", he shrugs shamelessly with a playful smile. "Hoseok you--Mm!", his lips crash against yours before you get the chance to voice all the protests currently flooding in your mind. So, you just decide to drown them all out fluttering your wide eyes closed as you lose yourself in the passionate kiss you share with Hoseok. Cuddling closer to him, you slip into a state of utter bliss and relief, since as it turns out, you've been showering your boyfriend with love and affection all this time; it just was...

probably the best life hack ive ever discovered is if youre absolutely sick over someone youre forced to see constantly and they dont love you back, find their celebrity look alike and project any illegal feelings you may have onto that guy instead.

for this to work you need to commit with the tenacity and grit of a teenage girl or a kpop stan. if after a few weeks people haven't started associating you with your proxy crush, you're not doing enough. time and space is better but if The Person is your coworker, try this.

This is the introduction of the delightful world We have crafted for you all! Hello and welcome!

As stated by the blog description, this blog is actually an interactive life series story! What this means is that you, the reader, will get to decide all the player's fates in a series of polls.

But what game will the players be playing, you ask? Well, allow me to introduce...

"Which Life?"

Quite unlike all the other life games, "Which Life?" has a premise that shakes the life series down to its very core: nobody knows what life they're on. Not the players, and not you, dear reader! Death messages are also disabled, and the tablist doesn't show if someone's a spectator (ghost) or not.

On top of that, there will be a life-trading system like Last Life, and special occurrences that happen every time a player makes a kill.

Interesting, right? (We certainly hope so)

Oh, wait, you didn't know? An honest mistake, sorry: Everyone starts with a randomized number of lives. It could be as low as 2 or as high as 5, but nobody knows how many lives anyone has except for the three Watchers pulling the strings behind the scenes of this game (who will be introduced later, in a separate post)

Now, in order for this fic to work, there will have to be people voting in the upcoming polls. Your answers will be incorporated into the futures of these players. If nobody votes, then you will change nothing.

That being said, the Watchers are begging for people interested in this premise to reblog this post, so that more people can see it and follow it as they please. They want to show everyone a spectacle, but that can't happen if nobody has their eyes open.

That's so weird because my reaction to S4 finale is it was the moment that convinced me Buddie was going to be endgame. Now two seasons later and we could be heading back to that same ending for the season depending on the events of the finale leaves me doubting things ngl. The only things I'm clinging on to are the couch theory, Eddie saying that relationships with people you meet at a rescue never works, and the fact that we're being introduced to these women so late in the season. It just seems like the writers even know they're giving this the most superficial things so that they can fix what they did in early S7.

To put it bluntly it just sucks that you know if this was gonna be the final 2 episodes that instead of going towards a story they've been telling since S2 they decide to put Buck and Eddie with women we don't even know their last name or anything about them. But they got renewed and will be moving to ABC so they can do the story they wanted to tell and I imagine these women will be kicked to the curb early in S7.

Okay, I'm gonna be real honest with you. I've seen that you've sent asks to a few of my friends, all generally saying the same thing. So to see you send me this ask makes me feel like you don't really want to have a discussion and aren't looking for actual support or positivity, you just want to keep being upset and tell people until someone agrees with you and tells you that your opinion that the writers made a shitty choice etc is valid.

So, to repeat a few things my friends have said:

They have not been doing Buddie since season two. I don't know why people persist on claiming this. Buddie was never the original plan. They did not decide to have Eddie get with Buck in season two. In fact in season two they seemed kinda unsure what to do with Eddie since he wouldn't be with Maddie any longer, but they still wanted the character, and Ryan, on the show. For my money, they started exploring the possibility of Buddie and discussing it seriously in season three, and season four was when they locked that in.

Now, I don't know about you, since you're a stranger on the internet, but to me, as a writer, it is a much, much better choice for them to have taken the risk rather than cram Buddie together, for a few reasons.

One: They cannot walk it back once Buddie is together. You're telling me you wanted them to sacrifice their story's integrity to give us a rushed unsatisfying get-together? Get out of my house. Watching television is, inherently, a gamble because it means you might get your stories unfulfilled. If you can't take that risk, then leave the casino. I am willing to risk it because I want a truly satisfying get-together, not something that was rushed and therefore isn't worthy of the delicious slow burn they're building.

Two: How many times do I have to scream at everyone to consider the behind the scenes issues before people start actually listening to me? Oh, forever? Because everyone is operating in bad faith and nobody wants to actually listen? Good to know. This will be the last I say on the matter.

We do not know what behind the scenes was going on in addition to the cancellation. What if certain Fox executives weren't supportive of Buddie? You're telling me that the writers and cast and crew should have, right when they'll need new jobs, guaranteed that their last employers will talk shit about them for disobeying orders and putting two characters together that they were told not to put together?

This is purely conjecture on my part, but I have seen time after time in fandom certain cast members and certain crew members and certain writers want a ship to become canon, and others not, and I have seen the way that back and forth played out, and guess fucking what? NOBODY WANTS TO LOSE THEIR FUCKING JOB. NOBODY WANTS TO BE PREVENTED FROM HAVING ANOTHER JOB.

Now, again, that's pure conjecture, but Fox really hasn't treated OG well for a while in terms of renewal, marketing, etc. And I have never, EVER, seen a show snapped up by another network so quickly. It's always "we got cancelled!" and then a few days or weeks later it's "we were saved by another network!" ABC was ON it. This gives me hope for a lot of things, like perhaps a 22 episode season. But given Fox's lack of promotion and appreciation for OG, it wouldn't surprise me if the cast and crew wanted Buddie and some people in the network didn't, and that is why we've been delayed on Buddie going canon. And while YOU may cry viva la revolution, it's much easier to have your principles when you've got a belly full, and while it may suck creatively there is no reason to piss off your bosses right when you need them to write you a recommendation for a new job because your show got cancelled - and while I'm sure they were hopeful, given the cast's social media I do not think anyone knew until it was publicly announced that they had, indeed, been saved and gotten another season.

My point is, this is just one theory I'm pulling out of a hat like a rabbit. We do not know what other BTS stuff is going on that made them choose to delay Buddie until season seven.

Three: To go back to point one, I do not think you've seen the reactions when a ship goes canon poorly. I was there, Gandalf. I was there the day that Booth and Bones got together. I was in the trenches. It soured SO many people, including me, on the show. To quote MBMBAM: YOU DIDN'T STICK THE LANDING! YOU JUST FLIPPED IN THE AIR FOR TWENTY MINUTES!!!

Sticking the landing when getting a ship together is possibly the most important moment in the couple's story. You cannot fuck up that landing. The writers chose to take the chance on it never happening in order to stick the landing the way they wanted. If that pisses you off, FINE. But stop coming into our inboxes to say the same thing over and over again about it, because we do not agree and we are never going to agree. We are at an impasse.

Now, to move onto some other points, WHY IS EVERYONE CONVINCED THAT EDDIE WILL STILL BE WITH SOMEONE WHEN THE SEASON ENDS!? WHEN DID WE DECIDE THIS!? He could be! But holy shit he could just go on one date with her that fizzles out! We have no clue! If someone in this fandom can see into the future and knows for sure this is going to happen then give me the winning lotto numbers right this second!!! Give them to me!!!! I need to fund my world domination campaign!!!

And finally, I feel like you've answered your own concerns, here. Given that you have sent similar asks to my friends, I don't think you're actually interested in allaying those concerns, because you keep answering your own questions and repeating yourself ad naseum. I could be wrong. Again, I don't know you. But this sure seems to be the case given that you're saying to me similar stuff you've said to my friends in asks they've already answered.

But to look at your own ask, you just said why we shouldn't be worried. "It seems like the writers even know..." YES. YES, THEY DO KNOW. I would love to know who the hell decided that television shows are made by the Television Fairy who creeps into the studio at night and waves her magic wand to create all the good stuff we see on our screens while the writers sit around with their thumbs up their asses.

Let's imagine you are a showrunner and you are going into the second half of your season, and you learn that it is extremely likely this season is actually your last. You guys start negotiating quietly with other networks to move the show, while hoping against hope this is not, indeed, the end. But this means you now have, what, nine episodes? To put all your characters in a place that is, if not ideal, at least somewhat positive for your audience?

You can't start any too-major arcs. You can't end on too bad of an emotional cliffhanger. This means some things will wrap up faster. Other things will get pushed forward. And some things have to be delayed, because they might never happen, and you can't give people a third or a half of an arc. Which means that you're going to be throwing in some filler for those characters instead, and doing things differently than how you might have wanted.

I do not know how many times I have to explain this, but television is not fanfiction. When I sit down to write a fic, there's not a damn person in the world who can tell me what to do. I write the story that I want, and if someone doesn't like it, they can hit the bricks.

Television is not like that. Television is one of the biggest group projects there is. Picture the worst group project you had to do in school and then times it by ten. Welcome to the television and film industry. The fact that any film or show, even the truly awful ones, gets made is nothing short of a miracle given all the people involved and all the ways the ball can be dropped. As a show runner, you are answering to multiple executives, to the creators, to the executive producers, to your own writers' room, and to the fans. You are trying to balance what everyone tells you to do, what the fans want you to do, and what you and your (hopefully trusted) writing team want and plan to do. I could never be a show runner and while there are quite a few with whom I've got bones to pick, I cannot deny that they all do a job I would never, ever be capable of pulling off. I'd quit on day three.

So, yeah, they gave Buck a temporary girlfriend as filler, to kinda cap off his current arc if this was the end, or to provide more layers to his full arc if they got another season. If you don't like that, then that's okay. Nobody is telling you to like it. When you come into someone's inbox like this, the assumption is that you're looking to be reassured, and so that's why you're getting the responses that you are. The previous people who've answered you have been trying to reassure you and allay the concerns you seem to have.

But it seems to me like you want a more full conversation, and possibly, that you just want to rant and vent. That's fine, but find a friend for that. Join a discord server. Because when you send the same stuff over and over again to different people, all of whom give you basically the same reply, it just makes you look like a very obstinate stick in the mud who wants everyone else to join them in being upset, and people don't much like having the same conversation multiple times, or being pushed into being upset when they're not.

You might just have to agree to disagree, and move on. Find other ways to get this out of your system, because my inbox, and the inboxes of others, is not the place for your venting in circles.

Now, in spite of my firm tone, I hope you will believe me when I say that I hope you're taking care of yourself, and that you are staying safe in this scary world, and that you have a good rest of your day.
