WELL I REWATCHED THAT SCENE FROM ELOISE GARDNER WITH BABY ALICE AND MY HEART

One: Killian's singing?? How did I not notice how mind bogglingly beautiful that was before now? Idk what it is about his singing in that scene but I'm gonna cry

Two: The voice crack when he mentioned his mother this man has so much completely unaddressed childhood trauma you can just see it all over him at any given time. The daddy and mommy issues are strong with this one (not saying the mommy issues are from any wrongdoing on Alice's part but she's dead and my guy is wounded from that)

Three: Other than memories of his mother he MUST be parenting with only the guidance of "be the exact opposite of everything my father was" because it's not like he knows what a good father looks like (unless you wanna count Liam who practically raised him)

The Angel and the Sinner

Killian, a self-proclaimed sinner, meets his guardian angel, Anaphiel.

Turns out even angels aren't immune to sinful desires.

Warnings: weed usage, religious talk, implied sex

Killian is laying in his bed one night, high out of his mind. He's holding his arm up in the air and watching the motion trails as he moves it around.

Suddenly, he sees a soft light at the foot of his bed. He blinks in confusion as the light takes a humanoid form.

"What the fuck..?"

Killian rubs his eyes as the light forms into an absolutely gorgeous Black man with blue, shoulder-length locs. Then Killian notices that something... Isn't quite right.

The man has three eyes, completely golden with elongated pupils. He's covered in golden freckles as well.

Killian shakes his head upon noticing that the man also has eight extra arms, protruding from his back.

The man speaks, with an otherworldly, ethereal voice. "Be not afraid, my human. I am Anaphiel, your guardian angel."

"...Oookay, maybe I went a little overboard with the edibles this time."

The man- no. The angel tilts his head in confusion. "Edibles? What is that, my human?"

Killian blinks. "Aha. Holy shit, this is really happening right now. I'm about to explain what edibles are to a damn angel."

He takes a moment to think of how to explain it.

"Edibles are... Pieces of food that have cannabis in them. Humans eat them to get high."

Anaphiel looks confused again. "Cannabis?"

"...oh, shit, you don't even know what weed is. It's... It's a plant, that humans consume in order to get high." Killian sits up and clicks his lamp on, inviting the angel to sit on the bed.

"...High? As in, a higher place?"

"Fucking hell... No, not like a high place." Killian takes a moment to think, trying to figure out how to explain being high. "It's like... Our minds work a little differently when we're high. Some people compare it to unlocking a sixth sense."

Anaphiel looks more interested by the second. "...may I try it?"

Killian looks at him for a moment, then offers his container of weed gummies towards Anaphiel.

"Eat one of these, and it'll take about an hour to kick in."

Anaphiel picks up a gummy, inspects it, then pops it into his mouth.

An hour later, Anaphiel starts to feel the high.

"My human, I feel... Strange."

"Huh. So angels can get high. Rad."

Anaphiel giggles and fidgets with his many hands.

Killian lays down on the bed and looks up at Anaphiel. "So... Can you explain something?"

Anaphiel looks down at Killian with a smile and sleepy eyes. "What is it, my human?"

"Why do I have a guardian angel? I'm literally so much of a sinner that I'm banned from the local church. I'm a Satanist, I'm gay, my gender's a clusterfuck... Why does someone like me have a guardian angel?"

Anaphiel chuckles for a second. "Everyone is deserving of God's love. Even the sinners. Even those that don't believe. And... Even the ones with clusterfuck genders."

They both burst out laughing at that.

"So those religious assholes are wrong! God doesn't hate anyone after all." Killian absentmindedly trails his finger over an especially freckled spot on Anaphiel's arm.

"God loves everyone who has ever lived. No matter what they've done."

Killian smiles up at Anaphiel. He can't help but notice that Anaphiel almost looks lovestruck.

"Hey, Anaphiel, you good?"

"...huh? Oh, yeah... I'm good." His cheeks turn dark as he blushes and looks away.

Killian smirks. "What, you want to kiss me or something?"

Anaphiel brings two of his hands up to cover his face.

"...oh my god. You do, don't you?"

Anaphiel nods slowly.

Killian thinks for a moment, before sitting up and gently pulling Anaphiel's hands away from his face. "Then let's kiss."

Anaphiel's eyes go wide, and he slowly leans forward until his lips meet Killian's.

The kiss becomes more and more passionate, and Killian eventually pins Anaphiel down to the bed.

"Now, my angel, let me show you how good sin can feel."

How is it that even years after their first meeting, every kiss still gives her butterflies? Forget the three T’s, that was definitely a superpower. Tyler laughs at the kiss on her nose before utterly melting against him. “Hmm, y’know I’m startin’ to think mistletoe should be a year-round thing.”

Of course just one kiss (okay, technically two) isn’t enough. She immediately pulls him into another, gently cradling his face in her hands.
