The band photo of the Spiffies, rummaging through trash cans to find instruments (presumably). From the United States Naval Academy's 1969 yearbook.
Here's my gallery of unusual imagery from vintage college yearbooks.
Wondering about this post? Wait for the dissertation (TBA).

VULTURE INDUSTRIES are sad because a squirrel has stolen their camera.
That little punk.
Sitting up there in the branches, mocking them. You let your guard down in the forest, this is what happens. Nature is a cruel mistress who laughs at man's hubris and folly. And stores nuts for the winter.
Who's good at climbing trees?

No April fools here...
Happy to show off our 2024 photo shoot taken by the infamous Paul Natkin.
Paul's no stranger to rock and roll photography. His works can be found in Creem Magazine, along with many other music magazines (Rolling Stone, Circus, Hit Parader) as well as many mainstream magazines, including Newsweek, Time, People, Playboy, Ebony and Entertainment Weekly.
More photos from the day to come.
