Kya provided the people of Novigrad with their herbal remedies and soothing cures. Kya smiled and shared stories with the merchants decorating their tables and selling their wares. It was Kya who healed them with what little magic she possessed, and it was Kya who took in the Witcher and his Bard when they’d been injured. Kya who froze instantly upon hearing the name Geralt of Rivia. Kya, who was now forced to return to the life she’d known before the fall, as the Witcher and his Bard escort her back to Cintra in the hopes of passing her off as the missing Princess Kiana to earn their coin. The meeting feels more like chance than anything, but the threads of destiny are at work, drawing Geralt of Rivia and Kiana of Cintra closer together than ever before.

Don't get me wrong, even though I've loved all the posters so far (despite them appearing heavily photoshopped), this one is my favorite. One of them at least. I kind of wish they would re - release the books with this poster!!!! So I can have one version with the one poster and another with this one haha 😅. I've already gotten the original cover book, and the collector's edition, what's two more lol.

Look, my brother and I never asked to be half-bloods... Nini Jackson was the furthest thing from normal. She ate blue food, went to a completely different school than her brother, and she was pretty sure normal kids didn't have to worry about accidentally blowing up pipes when they were angry. If she can just make it to the end of the school year, pack for their annual trip to Montauk with her mother, brother, and uncle, then everything would be fine. But she was Nini Jackson, sister of Percy Jackson, and nothing ever went as planned for the two.

First their mom is acting weird, talking about some camp she's signed them up for, THEN they get attacked by a Minotaur and her mom disappears, then she and Percy find out that not only are the Greek Gods real, but she and her brother are the product of a broken oath between three of them, and sure let's just add in the fact that Zeus--King of the Gods--suddenly believes that she stole his lightning bolt. Like she said...Nini Jackson and Normal did not mix.

07.03.23 ⸺ the new and improved rewrite of make them gold now titled 'so much for stardust' (everybody say thanks to fall out boy's new banger of an album for giving me all the inspiration i have for my stories now) will be coming out on july 3rd!! i'm super excited to show you the new version because my writing has improved so much since i started this story/series in 2016 and i've fixed so many plot holes and other terrible things i wrote as a teenager. i know i should probably let this fic die by now BUT i'm too invested in finishing this story so y'all have to suffer with me but not really because i'm super happy writing this new version and i hope anyone who sees this post or has read the old version of make them gold is excited for it as well!!
