Is it wrong if I want Jaune and Willow to have a genuine loving relationship with Jaune being a wonderful role model for Whitley and at the same time NTR Jacques?

"I hope your wife cheats on you with somebody she actually loves" is a pretty strong insult, but then again, Jacques Schnee is pretty much an irredeemable character as he is. He's the richest man on Remnant, done so through slave labor of a minority group and the abuse of his family to the point his oldest daughter abandons him for the military, his next oldest leaves for a school far away from home, and his youngest has no choice but sit there and absorb all the abuse and animosity between his father, the despotic corporate tyrant of both home and the SDC, and his mother, who was driven to alcoholism. Probably while blaming everyone else but himself, because in the eyes of Jacques Schnee, Jacques Schnee can do no wrong.

So, yeah, Jacques Schnee is the worst character in RWBY, ironically worse than Adam Taurus. But does he deserve to be NTR'd? Does he deserve to be cucked the way he does? That kind of depends on how you view people, in my opinion. And as for my opinion, wanting a person to be cheated on is WRONG, regardless of how shitty that person is, though I'll admit Jacques Schnee is a hard man to defend.

But that's not what you asked, is it? You asked if making Willow cheat on Jacques with Jaune is wrong. Wrong and right is a tricky thing since it's either based on fact or on opinion. I THINK it's wrong, but is it wrong by any factual statement, something you can point to and say, "Here is the evidence to support the claim that this, in fact, is wrong"? I can't say. Unless you have evidence to say it's wrong or right, then you can't make this statement anything more than an opinion.

If you want to make a fic where Jaune and Willow fall in love and sneak around behind Jacques back, then all the more power to you, BUT I prefer Willow making the choice to leave Jacques before things get too serious with Jaune. Have Jaune swing by the house, help out Klein, Whitley, Winter, and even Weiss, too. Heck, have him help Jacques, too, if you'd like, while making Jacques dismissive of him and his family. Then Jacques goes too far, either with something involving the family or the company, and Willow decides to finally leave him. Willow either leaves her family home or kicks Jacques out, and she and Jaune start their relationship more proper. I'm talking actual dates, movie nights, dinners, etc. etc.

Write as you will, but I'd rather have a happy ending where everyone's happy, so maybe Raven comes along and sleeps with Jacques, too. That, or Jacques pulls an Old Man Heartfilia and makes a turnaround for the better.

@min3nc's post about Snowleopard ripped open the Pandora Box that is some of my headcanons about this throuple (and the subsequent Bellaschneeblings interactions in my post here) so sit tight y'all this list is gonna be long because I absolutely adore this healthy bi4bi4bi poly pilf couple that foils whatever the fuck Divorce Mcgees Summer, Raven, n Tai had going on (don't get me wrong, I adore str-crossed lovers, especially whatever the fuck Rosebird had, but cmon you could power a small nation off of their Divorce Energy alone)

-They have zero in-canon interactions but the thought of Willow slowly healing and learning to love again from two characters shown to be incredibly sweet and patient and understanding and oh so gentle and tender and earnest? Guys this alone should sell you on the ship like!! LIKE!!!

-WILLOW HEALING FROM HER ABUSIVE MARRIAGE TRAUMA WITH THE HEALTHIEST COUPLE!! GHIRA AND KALI TAG TEAMING TO VALIDATE AND SMOTHER THE SHIT OUTTA THIS ENDEARING MILF WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND SUPPORT!!!

-The Pilfadonnas are so sweet and loving to their new kids and see 'em as their own straight up but don't pressure any typa connection and respect the Schneeblings so much like, "I would prefer just Kali, but if calling me Ms. Belladonna makes you more comfortable then go right ahead sweetheart" LIKE THEYRE JUST THE BEST STEPARENTS EVER SO MUCH VALIDATION AND PATIENCE AND SWEETNESS!!!

-"Chieftain Ghira, sir, it's good to see you."

"Winter, while I won't stop you from calling me by that title if that's what makes you the most comfortable, you don't have to be so strict with yourself. There's no need to address me like you're a military subordinate, sweetheart."

"...I would die for you, sir."

"Oh! Um! I'm very grateful for that, but, uh, let's also not huh? Wouldn't want you dying anytime soon ahahahaaa."

-The Pilfadonnas introduce the concept of therapy and healthier coping mechanisms to all of the Schnees REALNESS

-"But OP wouldn't Weiss already have learned that from her super supportive friends?" Weiss' found family is incredible but healthy coping mechanisms are NOT part of that package deal holy shit hypertraumatized child soldiers left and righttt baby

-Anyways, one time Whitley slipped and accidentally called Ghira "Hey dad-" and everyone FROZE before Whitley rushed his question and then ran the f u c k off as Ghira started wiping tears with Kali holding him close and Willow being so emotional at the her son finally has a solid, good father figure in his life oMG HES STARTING TO ACCEPT THE PILFADONNAS!!!

-Eventually, the Schneeblings graduate to calling the Pilfadonnas just Kali and Ghira (and Blake calling Willow by her first name was already established back when she was crashing Schnee Manor in V8 so we chilling) but Whitley, oh my heart, sometimes slips with a 'mama' or 'dad' to his stepparents and down the line he even stops getting embarrassed over it and GOSH does it melt the Pilfadonnas' hearts everytime he calls 'em that it doesn't matter if it's the tenth or the hundredth time they're sosossooo soft

-One time Weiss was practicing her fencing stances and didn't realize the Pilfadonnas were watching her, and then when they started to praise how amazing her swordsmanship is? Babygirl actually starts to cry a little because it was always, "You need to be faster, Schnees aren't supposed to be so slow" and "What would your grandfather say if he saw such sloppy forms? Again!" and never, "Oh, Weiss, honey, you were wonderful out there! You must have trained very hard to be so good!"

-If you give any of the Schneeblings a fucken shred of unconditional praise they will crumple faster than a stale cookie. On a daily basis, Weiss jokes and asks Blake how the FUCK did she not end up more well-adjusted (she knows about the bullshit with Adam but Weiss also knows that Blake is aware she's just messing around)

-So we've established some headcanons of the Schneelings interacting with the Pilfadonnas, but hear me out awkward as fuck Blake and Willow interactions bc Willow has NO IDEA how to interact with her daughter's teammate turned stepdaughter???

-Because, you know, "Oh uh hey my ex-husband exploited and abused the shit out the Faunus for years on end and you were one of the people heavily affected to the point where you, as a literal child, turned to a life of vigilante terrorist justice as a form of fighting back for your own basic rights"

-Blake, like her parents, completely understand that Willow had nothing to with Jackass' cruelty and instead gives her new stepmom an easy smile and starts talking small talk about Weiss' adventures with Team RWBY and!! Yeah!! Willow genuinely wants to know what's been going on in her daughter's life since she was so absent from it during her alcoholic days

-The pair bond over a shared loved of Weiss, and at one point Willow says, "If it isn't overstepping, can I just say I am truly fortunate that Weiss has someone like you in her life to support her" and Blake chuckles softly and replies, "It wasn't easy at first, but yeah, I'm glad she's in my life too" AND ARGAGRGRHRH THE BONDINGGGG

-Speaking of bonding, imagine the Pilfadonnas vibing with Klein and bonding over tea together, and seeing their adoptive dad figure Klein vibe with their new steparents may or may not have sped up Whitley and Winter warming up to the Pilfadonnas justttt a litttttlleee

-When Kali and Ghira see their stepkids flinch at loud voices or innocently raised hands, when they notice the low self-esteem Winter still carries or Whitley's facade of maturity so that adult figures actually acknowledge him, in front of the kids they're very respectful and apologetic of accidental triggers without being patronizing, but when they're alone? Straight fucking murder in their eyes. The Pilfadonnas are fucken e n r a g e d they're fucken seething because how dare Jackass Schnee hurt these sweet kids so fucking much

-They make sure neither the Schneeblings nor Willow are around when they let out their furious vents to each other absolutely slandering Jackass' name with clenched fists and bared fangs because they don't want their anger to trigger anyone but yeahhhh. Yeah, if Jacques is still out there we're adding two bisexual cat pilfs to the waiting list fer ripping his head off

-ANYWAYS, on a lighter note, can y'all imagine the Belladonnas are vibing and purring together all comfy and shit and the Schnees see them and are like, "Shit man they're so HEALTHY and FUNCTIONAL what the HECK??"

-Blake groaning, "Dadddddd!!" when her dad pulls up with family albums to talk about his precious daughter's childhood and, "Not you too mom!!!" when Kali excitedly joins in. As Blake is play wrestling with her parents to get the photobooks away, the Schnees are just witnessing this in various levels of amused but also kinda like, "Damn wow is this what a healthy family's supposed to look like dannggg that's crazzzzzyyyyyyyy"

-Vacations to Menagerie where the Belladonnas playfully make fun of their sunburnt as all hell white family members, and even though some Faunus are wary of the visiting Schnees, others are more open to giving these guys a chance and hey!! Turns out the SDC is actually going to be a good company after the shit Jacques Schnee pulled. Imagine the healing between Faunus relations and the Schnee family name when Willow and her kids pull up to help wherever and however they can

-I'm just saying family dinners would be so healthy and healing fer Willow and her kids after years filled with so many isolated, lonely, suffocating as hell dinners when Jacques still walked these halls. Instead of stiff etiquette and barbed questions throw their way by a spiteful bitchass with a clip-on tie, there's warm laughter and jovial banter thrown about; genuine inquires about their day/interests that lead to invested conversation and freely given praise; large, beaming smiles from three dark color-schemed people who radiantly glow like the sun. It's like the Belladonnas breathed back life into the hollowed out Schnees who barely survived all the different ways jackass had hurt them, and that's just so fucken lovely to think about

So, do you think Whitley should've acted more as an antagonist, corrupted by his father's morals and environment before Weiss could get through to him and help him?

I believe Whitley is great, and that's the problem.

Hmm, I'm not sure whether I'd say I want Whitley to have acted as more of an antagonist, but I would say that I wish that the level of antagonism he did have had been explored a little bit more.

The thing about V8 Whiltey is that it's a fine characterization! Whitley is a child and isn't set in his ways yet, the idea that once Jacques is out of the picture, Whitley adjusts to that newfound freedom by dropping some of the emulation of his father he'd picked up (as a means of survival) and letting himself be more kind and do what he thought was right is a great concept and honestly is a much smaller leap in characterization than people sometimes act. After all, Whitley is hardly Emerald, Mercury, Adam, Ilia, Cardin or any other villain teen we see in the show. Whitley's biggest crime was not seeming to like Weiss and Winter and acting pleased about Weiss being removed from a position he wanted. He was less of a jerk than V1 Weiss was with her incredibly anti-faunus ranting. There was no reason to believe that Whitley was really like his father, no reason to believe that Whitley wanted to hurt anyone, no reason to believe that he wouldn't be better when separated from his bad environment and isolation.

However, because I think that Weiss needed a lot more focus in the Atlas arc especially concerning her connection to her family, I do think that her and Whitley's strained relationship should've been more prevalent and garnered more attention from the team (who should have varied reactions to Whitley.) And I also think that the change from V7 to V8 did deserve a little more focus because of that too. Not only do the RWBY writers need better time management, but they also need to give their characters more time, and also need to pack way less into their show so that the story beats they do introduce have more time to breathe, and Whitley is no exception to that. Him being this annoying roadblock that Weiss is clearly frustrated with that's acting like he wants nothing more than to be the socialite eventual CEO that his father wants him to be is more than good enough for me and I don't need him to be some evil conniving mini Jacques. And him then turning out to be at heart a kinder and braver person than Weiss had assumed once Jacques was out of the picture is also great. I just wish that it all had been more explored and gone into - specifically in how it makes Weiss feel and what lessons and growth she can get from it and how it'll impact her own personal arcs from here on in (with care towards Whitley becoming a primary motivation.) Like most things in RWBY, the problem is the execution, not the idea.

Also, equally important is that Whitley's characterization of conforming to what Jacques wants and his ambition to take over the SDC... That feels like it was meant to be a threat to Weiss because the writers wanted us the audience to think that the role of CEO and heading the Schnee Dust Company was something Weiss deserved and should get. If Weiss was everything she should've been and deserved to be as a character, she would either already be on her way to no longer wanting that sort of thing and re-thinking her idea of the homelife she'd had and her rich billionaire mentalities, or V4 should've kickstarted that. So by the time V7 rolled around, although Whitley still should've been an annoyance and a frustration for Weiss... I think also that Weiss should've been more aware of Whitley being in an unsafe position and how that affects him and Weiss should've been at least thinking about whether or not she can help Whitley. So I guess if anything I would've wanted him to be less of an antagonist in V7. XP

I mentioned in another recent Whitley post that he and Weiss's opposite ways of reacting to their abusive and controlling household were fascinating and should've been gone into, used as a way to speak to the fact that abuse victims don't all react to their abuse in the same way and still deserve help and sympathy. And imo it would've been really good as a way to help establish Weiss as a considerate and compassionate person, learning and growing and able to put aside her own hurt feelings. Idk, I just think that it would've been good.

omg welcome to the list of followers i know watch rwby!! (it's a small list, but it's also one of my favorites hehe) idk that i have any esp hot takes?? but i'd love to talk about something that's been on my mind a lot recently..?

that thing is the schnee family... i personally am a huge sucker for the mechanics and evolution of family dynamics and how each individual functions within and outside of it. and aside from the belladonnas, whose family web has a third of individual relationships as the schnees, weiss's family is really the only one we get the privy of seeing in totality?? which i think is really interesting considering they are also the most public family of any of our mcs--even pyrrha, who was more known for her own name than her family's.. but i digress.

so much of the character of the schnee family really is based around that public persona, the facade they each present to the world. while we aren't very familiar with the former heads of the family, or of the sdc, i'm still inclined to believe a lot of this attitude was brought to the family by jacques, who has been acting since day one. he acted like he was in love. he donned the schnee name. he dyed his hair white. he swept willow aside, took her family's legacy from her, and then spent the rest of his life pretending like he deserved to be where he was and manipulating people into playing along. and of course behind every facade is something worth hiding. for jacques i think there was a lot of insecurity and fear there--youthful desperation that he was never quite able to move past because of his choice to take the cheater's way to the top.

willow, on the other hand, seems to move through life with a lot more vulnerability--loving jacques. loving their children. i'm sure there's probably an amount of safety and security growing up as a schnee heiress that resulted in her never having to form that shell that jacques did, but that's exactly why he was able to get into the power position in their relationship, and making it so she just gave up when jacques showed his cards to her, bc she didn't have anything up her sleeves.

and i think its really interesting to consider the kids growing up in this climate.. each of them learning in their own ways what parts of themselves to control and diminish vs. which strengths were valuable to play to. even with both winter and weiss stepping out from their father's control, the effects of their upbringing still follows them. they saw the powerless position their mom was reduced to because she didn't demand respect the way their father did, she didn't walk into a room with the air of the most important person in it, at least not within the confines of their family--because why would she? meanwhile, jacques, who viewed their relationship as nothing more than a stepping stool, a business transaction, would have maintained that facade and that attitude no matter how intimate the setting. and of course both girls would notice and internalize that at a young age. we see it in weiss, especially during the beacon arc. and even winter's choice to become a soldier, and then her ability to move herself up to the top of ironwood's ranks... they wanted to escape the pressure of their father's thumb, but they just carried his lessons with them, adapting them to their own lives. school and the army. and then that's something they need to unlearn. or rather.. they need to learn to tap into the heart they inherited from their mom as well, to fight against the fear of weakness and collapse that they associate with softness. it's in much of weiss's arc throughout the series, and we see it in winter as well as we reach the end of the 8th volume and she's struggling between her personal beliefs and ironwood's as he continues to devolve. without the rules and control that ironwood brought, winter is then forced to tap into her heart.

whitley on the other hand... whitley fascinates me. since he was younger than both his sisters, he would have had less time to see their mom as her genuine self before she lost herself to depression, paranoia, and alcoholism. for whitley, the only option was to be like his father, which only makes it harder for him to see the distinction between who he is and the controlled front he presents to others. his relationship with weiss, his small bits of character development we've seen so far, are so important to me, because it really shows the possibility for all three of these kids to grow beyond the trauma that perpetuated within the walls of their icy mansion. even down to the one who suffered the worst of it all by himself. willow once told weiss not to forget about her brother, so i refuse to stop projecting hope in his direction.

Rare Jaune Ships

Velvet: The primary purpose people use her is either a breeding fetish, as part of a Faunus harem, or as a closet key for Coco. Most fics forget that the only characterization we get out of her is that she’s a shy photographer. Not saying don’t make spank fics about it, but she is a shy if kinky photographer.

Coco: Coco is a right royal bitch, and should be primarily used as a way to teach her a lesson. Luckily, this is what most fics focus on.

NDGO: Primary useful for a quick way to bang a squad of teen idols.

Glynda: The best for a transgressive power/exchange relationship, where Glynda learns it’s not always appropriate to be - proper.

Cinder: A great way for a hate fuck / high-heel-face-turn. This brings out incredibly raw emotions.

Neo: While Cinder brings out a lot of raw emotions, both positive and negative, Neo is more about having a little goblin girlfriend who just needed hugs, (and frequent reminders that killing is bad). RWBY Chibi has shown us that Neo is more than willing to use her powers for kinky purposes.

Emerald: Emerald is a character who wasn’t really given a chance. She had little characterization, until post-Haven, at which point she still had little characterization, just now being portrayed as a woobie. She is great if you want to do a non-Cinder/Neo redemption arc.

Neon: People only really use her to round out a Faunus harem, and that is pretty much the only good use for her. Still mad at her for calling Yang a fat slut.

Sienna: A right royal bitch. Even more so than Coco, but unfortunately, most of the fics about her don’t punish her in turn.

Winter: Seems to be a consolation-prize Schnee. Good to punish Weiss and/or make her Jealous. Would rather pair her with Ironwood.

Willow: Diametrically opposed extremes of wholesome and kinky. Extra points if it give the Schnee kids a proper father figure and/or brutally cucking Jacques.

Ilia: The quickest redemption arc in Human history, because she’s a lesbian, and you can have lesbians do bad thing. This said, I LOVE her with Jaune, to the point it’s become my favourite ship. I just absolutely hate her in RWBY, because they try to put her on a bus by making her in charge fo the White Fang. Leadership is not he strong suit, and she literally has no idea what she should be fighting for. Okay, yes, they wanted to sink her ship with Blake to focus on Bumblebee, but maybe have someone else going through the same problems as she is? Have them grow together for mutual support?

Kali: The best part of the Black Sun fauxmance was Kali being a little baby crazy. I find Sun a flat, boring character, but that doesn’t mean she’s not baby an/or blond(e) crazy. She wants Grandkittens, damnit.

Raven: Brush with your wild side.

Vernal: They never met except in the middle of the battle, and didn’t actually meet. You have to bend the story quite a bit to get them together. But yeah, nothing wrong with a little teaching a lesbian another way.

May Zedong: She is cute. We know nothing about her. Should be good, but I just can’t get over the fact she’s named after Mao Zedong.

Happy Huntresses: I disavow and repudiate the Happy Huntresses, in their entirety.

Arslan: I have no emotional connection whatsoever.

Summer: Despite the fact she’s dead, doesn’t seem to cause any barrier. No one even tries to justify it. Jaune’s Aura control lets him touch ghosts. See? Easy.

Nora: Nora would do ANYTHING Jaune told her to. Anything. Anywhere. With anyone. Luckily for her, Jaune is both jealous, and careful in deciding what/when/who to do. That said, he sometimes has to get a little creative, as she’s REALLY energetic.

Ren: The biggest problem with Nora’s Arc is what to do with Ren. Turning him into a femboy concubine definitely solves that problem.

Whitley Schnee: If anyone deserves to be forcefully feminized for the purpose of humiliation, it’s him.

Oscar: I liked Rose Garden, briefly, and then have since become completely against it. How dare he try to get between the glory that is Lancaster? He needs to be punished for it.

PENNY: Really interesting idea. Except they never actually met before she was killed. He did meet her reincarnation, only to be forced to kill her with his own hands. Other than that, sure.

Ciel: They have little to no chance to interact. But, if she tagged long with a reincarnated PENNY, then fuck yeah.

Salem: The FNDM have weirdly decide that Jaune is Salem’s heir. Luckily, this has been kept out of most of the Jaune x Salem fics. Someone needs to teach her the value of life and death, afterall.

Malachite Twins: No reason to, but no reason no to, either.

Terra and Saphron Cotta-Arc: The most boring characters introduced, with no one possibly being able to say anything against them, (like one of the more socially awkward ones asking where Adrian came from). The FNDM then said, fuck this, if you give us boring characters, we’ll make them more interesting, and that was apparently Jaune being Adrian’s father. Adding Saphron makes it even more interesting.

Momma Arc: She wants grandbabies, even is that means she has to grease the wheels a bit.

RWBY: Whitley’s Allusion

Next up is our favorite little shit. Whitley has had some debate on what his allusion is. I believe this one makes a lot of sense.

Whitley is the Magic Mirror from Snow White.

Before we start, I get that it may seem weird because the Magic Mirror isn’t exactly a character. But I feel like it’s prominent enough to be used as a reference figure. Think about Adam and how he is not only based on the Beast, but also the Wilting Rose.

The Magic Mirror was a mystical gadget owned by the Evil Stepmother to show her what she loved most; herself. As a mirror it reflected its holder however they are. The Evil Stepmother asked it to show the prettiest of them all in holes the mirror would again reflect her.

Basically, the Evil Stepmother used the artifact to tell her what she wants to hear. Tying this to RWBY storyline, this can easily be compared to Whitley and his relationship with his father. Jacques Schnee, though mainly alluding to Jack Frost, actually shares a double allusion with the Evil Stepmother (this time being the Evil Stepfather). He carries Whitley around to display his young self and mends him to be just like him. Whitley has been sucking up to Jaques for years. It’s why he’s his favorite child, because he’s the only one that he has control over.

Whitley is almost literally a reflection of Jacques (a “spitting image” as said by Watts). He even has a picture of Whitley on his desk, no one else. Another cool coincidence is that the term “whit” means a small part of something, which can relate to how Whitley is basically a younger and smaller version of Jacques.

But as the story goes, the Magic Mirror ends up reflecting the beauty of Snow White instead, being more fair than the Stepmother ever was. In the recent Volume, Whitley has become acquainted with the heroes and has been very helpful during the second half. Hiring Klein to nurse Nora, calling for the shipping transports to help the evacuation, and even killing a Grimm. His contributions make him seem less like his father, and more like his sister, Snow White.

This can be seen as the Magic Mirror finally rejecting its owner’s control and reflecting someone else more deserving. Whitley is the only son Jaq got control over, but since he got arrested, Whitley saw him for what he really was, a prick. From there he decided to get his act together and help his sister during the war.

As said from my Ilia post, not every character has a concrete allusion that you can easily put 2 & 2 together. Just see what the character is about & really dive into their story and the people they’re around. Not everyone can just slap on a red hoodie & call it a day.

Willow is mostly vanilla once getting more intimate with her new husband and wife. Her time with Jacques wasn’t spent with much if at all love making especially after Whitley was born.

Kali and Ghira take it slow and steady with Willow, kissing her up and down and worshiping her body. She got to experience Kali’s Tongue of Wonders (trademark pending) and loved being open and free to explore her sexuality. It was so liberating for Willow.

They all started to experiment a bit more as time went on and Willow got more used to life in Menagerie. Dresses, lingerie, and eventually casual nudity was the first step in moving towards more kinky stuff.

Willow’s heart fluttered seeing Kali wearing a collar with a leash, and the one she was holding that was a birthday gift for the Schnee. Ghira is very much happy to have such lovely and beautiful wives kneeling before him.

Of course he made sure to eat them both out and gave them lots of cuddles for being such good girls. Kali once even gave Willow a strip tease before Ghira came in and started to pound away at Kali. Willow loved the show her spouses put on for her.

It’s a weird thing because I 109% understand the schnee hate even tho non if the living schnee’s deserve it, frankly they should speed it to the other wealthy atlesians who almost definitely are still pieces of shit, but I guess the schnee’s are easier targets, but idk man send se of that hate to the marigolds, may will happily join you.

It's understandable although definitely not something Willow or any of her children deserve.

I wonder if there are any wealthy Atlesians any more after Atlas fell. I guess those who had plenty of cash or lien in bank accounts might still have it. The Marigolds who aren't May definitely deserve something, although they might argue that being reduced to refugees in Vacuo is bad enough. Presuming they got out of Atlas.

Kind of a pity that Jacques wasn't dragged to Vacuo to face justice rather than summary execution, and to experience the hate he earned for the Schnees for himself.

Ironwood robbed them, and I'm not sure anyone knows it was him and not just Jacques being caught up in the fall of Atlas. I can't remember if he mentioned it to Winter during their fight right before she became the Winter Maiden.

I don't like that Jacques is a gold digger. I feel like the gold digger idea is heavily routed in misogyny and classicism. Jacques is a man so the misogyny part isn't relevant to the conversation. (unless you wanna talk about how Willow, a born rich woman who has an incredibly overpowered inherited semblance, is apparently too weak to stand up to a string bean like Jacques even to protect her children from him) I feel like this is another instance of CRWBY wanting to talk about a serious subject like classicism, but chickening out at the last minute because it clashes too much with their actual world view. So instead of talking about the myth of the self made billionaire and pointing out how disgusting generation wealth actually is, they just shift all the blame onto a trope that's routed in misogyny and classicism as I've said.
