Kinda whish she atleast avoided the question, maybe in some way that would require actual thinking? For a character like Vaggie, she could choose either way and it feel like it's still her. If she chose to protect Charlie's dream, she would still be perfectly loyal to her but in the act of so would reveal a secret that could harm their relationship(which does happen at the end but that's because the plot wanted it like that). If she chose to side with Adam, she'd be hurting Charlie emotionally, sure, but it would keep a secret that could make Charlie see Vaggie less than who she is to her already(atleast what Vaggie might think would happen). Imo it should've been her deciding to protect Charlie, since it would mean she's devoted to her at all times.

ANOTHER THING! IF SHE COULDN'T MAKE THE CHOICE, THAT IS SOMETHING INTERESTING TO GO INTO. Maybe it could go deeper into how Vaggie doesn't know who she is without Charlie. So when she has a choice to make, like here, she can't do it without feeling the need to ask Charlie. BUT NOOO, YA HAD TO GO WITH THIS!! Wow. That was a long ass rant. Wtf 😭

Maybe I'm a dumbass. Maybe they'll talk about that next episode, but still, atleast touch on it a bit to not seem rushed?

Everyone fears to be like Lucifer. If they don't do bad things they believe are for the greater good and make sacrifices that put them higher than those in hell, they could themselves be fallen. It's really interesting but I don't know if it's going to be fleshed out enough with the amount of episodes left. Which also worries me about everything else that still hasn't be concluded. There's gonna be loose strings I just know it. Hopefully though they rather do that then rush everything out y'know?

I want the next episode to be mostly focused on Vaggie and Charlie's relationship and the healing of what happened. Not for the entire episode of course, it would feel drawn out if it did, but atleast address the problem for the first like I would say 10 minutes? Then the rest would focus on one or two loose threads while also having Vaggie and Charlie acting upon moving on. That's just my idea but yeah-

you had met dazai when he was a scrawny boy that was around your age. you had caught a glimpse of him from the corner of your eye while you were out and the sight of him practically hunched over in an alley made you pity him. to you, he simply seemed like a child who had no friends and you were determined to change that.

sure his appearance was a little bit worse than it seemed from a distance - unkempt brown hair, bandages galore, and not to be rude but a rather weird taste in clothes, i mean what sort of child wore a full on suit - but you weren't to be deterred. you managed to slip away from any company you had and made your way over to the sketchy boy. some people may say you had absolutely zero spacial awareness but you had a feeling. he was a lonely child and you could sense no form of danger.

your cheery voice called out to him and he spun heel. it was a voice that really contrasted the cold, mocking words he'd hear on the day and so to say he was shocked would be accurate. he merely wished for a little while to himself. some time away from the horrors that awaited him back in the dreaded, looming building that was the port mafia base. sure an alleyway wasn't exactly a contrast but it was better than any stuffy room with the same brick. he didn't really expect anyone to notice him, or if they did they'd have more public awareness and choose not to disturb him. so seeing someone that willingly actually came and over to talk to him, left him surprised - he could've guessed if anyone did it would be a child that seemed to be his age maybe younger.

you would come to learn his off-putting appearance really wasn't a problem it was his off-putting attitude. when you first tried to introduce yourself or even get some kind of conversation out of the boy, you were just met with a cold hard silence as he stared you down. his gaze sort of made you feel small despite him seemingly being around the same age as you, maybe attempting to talk to him was a mistake. however if chhildren were known for one thing it would be a rather oblivious and joyfull nature which paired with you're unrelenting attitude would mean you eventually would earn a disinterested sigh and for the boy to finally stop glaring at you and ask you in a flat tone what you wanted.

you didn't really want to come off as rude, so in the nicest way possible you told him how you thought he looked so lonely and you wanted to change that.

dazai didn't take it as a nice senitiment. he instead took it as pity and he didn't want pity from someone like you. why you were so insistent on talking with him? it was now clear as day to him that you clearly had no sense of danger if you were talking to someone like him in an alley. he wanted to walk away anf leave, he truly had no business being with you but for some reason his body was betraying him. his legs stayed firmly rooted to the spot as you continued to try and strike conversation with him - to which he would eventually cave to. it wasn't much but to you it was an absolute triumph.

he would answer you witha few huffs or sighs and the most that you got out of him verbally was a command to leave him alone and after he spat those words out he finally got himself to turn and leave. you were slightly offended by his attitude but decided to not let it get the best of you, afterall he was a very weird boy in an alleyway - maybe it would've been weirder if he was nice. you decided then and there that if you ever saw him again you'd give him a piece of your mind. and you kept that promise. as not even a week later you found the strange boy and did exactly that. dazai still couldn't understand why he didn't just leave and instead still let you complain at him.

your second encounter with him wasn't much different from it's predecessor. you carried out a very one sided conversation with him - after you complained at him. and eventually he turned cold again, as if he was finally registering that he couldn't indulge in such encounters, before leaving. by the time you saw him a third time, it no longer seemed like a coincidental meeting as each time he was rooted to the exact same spot always looking like he was expecting you - if you ever brought any of that up he'd leave immediately but still show up again another time.

he reminded you of a stubborn cat, perhaps it would be too cruel to refer to the boy as a scrawy stray cat that took the affection he could tolerate before leaving again - now that you thought about you still didn't know his name. you had met him each week in the exact same spot about four times now and you still didn't know his name. it would be the fifth time, after you realised, where you finally pressed him for his name. he seemed hesitant to tell you at first but he very quickly said his name a bit quieter than you would've liked but you still caught it.

it was around the seventh meeting where you started designating him nicknames. you felt weirdly close to dazai after seven weeks of talking to him. sure if you told anyone else they probably would think he was some sort of imaginaring friend or be concerned that you were going insane and judge you but you could feel something between you and him. you knew very well it was one sided but you had hopes he too would eventually see you as a friend and make it less awkward for you - the same way all your conversations were practically one sided.

whenever you met with dazai, you'd tell him all about your day and any new ideas or thoughts you had/created. it may seem weird or a little bit crrepy that he liked listening to you but it made him feel normal. despite being roughly the same age you were so different to him. you lived a life of an actual child and you had a more nurturing upbringing than he had. so him hearing about your life made him imagine himself alongside it, he could imagine having the life you had and that made him feel happy.

he would listen diligently to your stories and day to day happenings and even made mental notes of anything that interested him so he could have a follow up next week. gradually, week by week he became less standoffish and eventually wouldn't always leave with a harsh tone. instead he started visibly lighting up if you called him your friend - much like a curious cat in your opinion.

and after experiencing almost all his harsh words and nature you still couldn't believe how he cut you off. dazai never told you about his life and you never really minded but you guess you probably should of taken that as a warning. you had no clue what kind of life he had and if anything by the fact you met him in an alley, it probably wasn't good. he didn't tell you he became a mafia executive and he had no plans on doing so, instead he planned to cut you off.

originally he just planned to disappear and so he started skipping weeks of seeing you but he really should've just stopped showing up. each and every time you saw him after a longer time of not seeing him, he would see the way your eyes visibly lit up and you always managed to coax him to stay and talk. but then he really started disappearing and became colder again, you hated it as he always dismissed any questions and it made you rather annoyed. you thought he'd atleast give you a reason but no, maybe that was too kind of an assumption. you felt bad about no longer being excited to see him but you always dismissed those feelings when you were reminded of how he now treated you.

so it didn't exactly surprise you when he stopped showing up. it had been atleast a month and you finally accepted you wouldn't see him again. it saddened you but you tried to not let it get to you especially after finding the note. you originally glossed over the scrumpled ball of paper on the floor where he normally stood, mere trash was all you thought it was but when you accidentally kicked it you saw splotches of ink and felt compelled to open it up.

you weren't surprised by it's contents in any way shape or form, if anything it stung slightly and made a bitter anger bubble inside of you. he clearly hadn't put a single thought into it and probably only did it as some sort of final show of how little the time he spent with you ment to him. the scrumpled piece of papersome tears in some places and had lazy, half finsihed strokes of ink on it that barely made out the message -

'don't look for me, my time is precious and needed somewhere more important and necessary'

and at the bottom was a scribble with a million lines through it. the name clearly crossed out but you knew. you thought you atleast deserved the decency of a signed note. sure it hurt you but if you were being honest you tried preparing yourself for this ever since he started not showing up.

dazai had always been half torn between writing you that note or actually having the confidence to face you in person and tell you. unfortunately, his deciding factor was chuuya. to him chuuya was much more useful to him, someone he saw himself actually getting along with instead of you - the lowly civillian that somehow managed to keep him meeting up with you. and so eventually he felt barely any remorse for not saying goodbye properly and he even considered scrapping the note but he thought you deserved some kind of finalality - he reckoned you'd still wait for him otherwise. and while he spent a lot of his time on missions with chuuya, his mind would still sometimes drift to you but never for too long. he didn't care that much. right?

you hadn't seen dazai for the rest of your childhood. you eventually came to not care in the slightest, some childhood friends leave along the way and that was inevitable and so you didn't think about what you could've done for him to change on you so suddenly. instead you focused on everyone and everything else in your life that actually made you feel happy. however your word's would contradict yourself when you still held onto the note. you didn't know why and you never thought about it too much.

however what you hadn't known was that dazai had come a long way and actually grew as a person. he would openly admit to himself that he wasn't exactly a welcoming or polite child, he was a menace who hurt those around him - fitting for the 'demon prodigy'. he could blame the mafia all he wabted but he knew it all come down to him at the end of the day.

his time in hiding after leaving the mafia did give him time to reflect on the people he hurt as a child. from those he didn't even know the names of, to those that he was actually close to. he was fully aware of his actions and it pained him knowing it toom the death of a very, very dear friend for him to realise this. how many people would he have to lose to become a better person? he still held very brief memories of you but only negative ones. he could remember how harsh he was, how dismissive he was of you, all because he didn't want to admit he enjoyed your presence.

somewhere along the line he would start to wonder if you'd ever get the chance to meet him now. working at the agency had made him realise many things and he was confident he was only going to keep growing as a better person. sure he was still far from perfect but atleast the him now wouldn't be as scummy and cowardly to leave a rather harsh note to stop you talking to him because he found someone else - he realises now you weren't some means of disposable company. if you had seen how much he had grown would you wantbto talk to him again? was it too out there for him to wish that he could make it right, to apologise properly? and the answer would be yes.

you still lived in yokohama and part of you used to worry about meeting dazai randomly in the streets but now you realise how silly that was. you never actually ever saw him after you found that letter, it was really like he vanished into thin air. he thought it was the luckiest day of his life when he spotted you in the distance. you obviously had grown older and looked slightly different but he could tell it was you and he wasn't going to let this chance go.

you felt the opposite. you thought it was the worst day when you heard someone call out to you just to turn around and see it was dazai. rather ironic in your eyes. again, obviously older but how could you really forget those brown locks and he still adorned bandages - less but still. after all these years you finally came face to face with the man who, as a child, was rather ruthless in cutting you off. not having the deceny to make it a smooth let down and you really couldn't imagine that kind of denial from someone that young.

you could tell he had a lot to say and based on his opening sentence you knew it would be an apology. unfortunately for him you didn't want an apology. you were over him as a friend and you didn't want to go back to being friends after all these years. some may call you petty but you thought it was justified. but he couldn't tell and all he could think about was finally telling you how much he thought about you lately, how much he felt he wronged you and if you would ever consider befriending him- your voice broke his thoughts and words. you told him point blank you didn't care anymore and he shouldn't either. it was time for him to let go aswell and realise you should stay in his murky past.

you wouldn't let the dejected look ln his face trick you as you simply told him that the past was the past and that was where he would stay. you advised him to do the same. it would be rather unhealthy for the both of you to continue a friendship from all those years ago that went so wrong. it didn't matter to you how much he changed and now you just wanted to get along with your life.

for the first time in ages, dazai really couldn't understand. after all these years he finally had the chance to set things right but he now knew that was too much to ask for. now he had to watch you walk away from him like he did to you all those years ago. except you had the decency to actually tell him in person.

Have something fond to hold on to; to daydream about rather than letting the ship pass him by.

Although.

If by chance, you did say yes. If the relationship bloomed and love blossomed. He doubts he could have ever left you.

His life could have taken a different trajectory altogether.

Jake keeps his distance, even if he's the one to approach you.

Notices the way your eyes linger on the scars. Realises the gulf between you even if you are finally within reach.

Understands the way your lives have parted and ran parallel, even if he wishes for them to intersect again.

To capture some of the magic of his childhood. The innocence. Someone that knew him before Big Deal became all he was.

He knows it would be a mistake to bring you down with him. To dull your light and cloak you with his darkness.

Yet when you ask for his number, hand resting on his arm-

He can't help but pull out his phone and exchange his details with you.

Hopes that maybe. Just maybe that it would be the other way round.

That some of your brilliance, your radiance is contagious. That instead of dragging you down, you would be able to lift him up.

Eddie was positively buzzing.

Not even the little shits in Jazz 1 could ruin his day, not today.

You had scored tickets to a pre-screening of Saltburn followed by a Q & A with the director; it was only his most anticipated film of the year, no big deal. Never mind that you’d already seen it with your students at the film festival in October. Of course, your advanced classes loved it, the animation students, however, were wholly unprepared.

“What the fuck,” was the refrain of a few more sheltered students for the duration of the festival.

Sadly, ever since news of your relationship became public (no thanks to Harrington and his big mouth), Hopper put his foot down as far as Eddie’s chaperoning duties were concerned.

“Absolutely not Munson.”

“C’mon chief,” Eddie sighed in Hopper’s office, “I did the film festival trip last year and it was completely fine. Half the kids are in my classes anyway. Plus, I already did the transportation training and everything.”

Hopper stares at him blankly, “Congrats on doing the bare minimum.” He leans back in his chair and crosses his arms, “Look, I like having a qualified film teacher with real world experience, d’you know how difficult that is to find?”

Well, Eddie certainly can’t argue with that.

“And I assume you like her as well?”

“Obviously.”

“The fact of the matter is, you two weren’t an item last year but you are now.”

Eddie briefly hearkens back to last year, and, true, the pair of you weren’t exactly an item, but you definitely weren’t ascetics either. Not that Hopper needs to know that, of course.

“And you know how difficult it was with Harrington and Trouble.” He sighs, fingers pinching the bridge of his nose, “I’d rather not live through that experience again, if I can help it. So, no dice.”

Eddie resigned himself to his fate: no chaperoning of film activities and the same went for you with jazz ensemble. (“Right,” you snorted at the news, “Like I’d ever be caught dead with those nerds.”)

But that was then and this is now.

So when Wheeler, the little shit, asks while putting up his instrument, “What’s got you in such a good mood today Mr. M.?” The last thing Eddie wants to do is respond.

“None’ya.”

The rest of the day unfolds in much the same way— too many bathroom passes for no goddamn reason, students asking him inane questions instead of listening to directions, and the Hellfire kids getting on his last nerve.

“And then, after this campaign—” Dustin rambles on while Eddie suffers through afternoon bus duty. He’s got his sunglasses on in an attempt to block the late autumn sun, kids are hanging out of bus windows to wave at their friends and he really wishes the bus drivers would lurch forward, just a little, purely to keep things interesting.

Besides, it’s not like most of the kids couldn’t do with a good knock to the head.

Anyway, he’s essentially ignoring Dustin at this point, besides he can critique the finer details of his campaign later. He’s been glued to Eddie’s side since the final bell, and Eddie’s been counting down the minutes to 4:30 so he can get the hell out of dodge.

princess 👸: hey stud, how’s it going?

wild thing 😜: eh, the usual.

princess 👸: you’ve been quiet in the chat today.

wild thing 😜: kids were annoying today. plus i can see trouble and steve argue back at home.

princess 👸: lucky you, i wouldn’t know anything about that - we were watching quality cinema.

wild thing 😜: bladerunner?

princess 👸: uh, doi. meet you at the theater, say 6:30 ish?

wild thing 😜: it’s a date.

He opens up the group chat to see what he missed— mostly memes from Steve, Trouble arguing the finer points of a prank with Robin (it can’t be either a feather in their shoe or hitting them with a ski, bucks. there’s an art to it, a happy medium if you will.), and Nancy telling everyone to get back to work and stop bothering her.

The last bus finally pulls away from the school, bringing an end to his afternoon duty. Pocketing his phone, he claps Dustin on the shoulder and the teen halts his rambling. “Sounds good kid, but I gotta bounce.”

“Why, you gotta hot date or something?”

Eddie huffs a laugh, “Sure, let’s go with that.”

The theater is positively packed.

You met him at the bar, already having ordered his preferred stout and a drink for yourself. It had been a hectic few weeks, what with your film festival trip and the jazz competitions on the weekends, Eddie hadn’t had the opportunity to see you outside of work.

But your outfit more than made up for it, you looked down right delectable. Those ripped jeans that he adored because if he sat to your right, he could easily slip his hand through the tear at your thigh, a cropped ‘Directed by Stanley Kubrick’ shirt, and your usual black docs. Leaning against the bar to chat with the bartender, you didn’t even notice him approach until Eddie’s hand wrapped around your hip.

“Hey now,” He says with a smile, rings cool against the bit of skin above the rise of your jeans.

Smiling and ducking your chin bashfully you take a sip from your drink, “Hey now.” Your free hand finds his, tangling your finger together, “Got your usual,” you nod toward the drink on the bartop.

“Thanks, doll,” He drags you closer by the belt loops, “How’s the arm?”

You glance toward your left arm, turning it to brandish your newest acquisition. An addition to your horror sleeve, Ada from Lamb, complete with her coat and flowercrown, looking damn adorable. You’d justified it as being worthy as an example of folk-horror and had sat for the tattoo after your return from the film festival.

“Eh, still healing at the elbow crease, but other than that she’s good.”

He nods taking a sip from his beer. “She looks it.”

Making idle conversation until the theater opens up, you fill him in on the goings on of the film students: Reese was out sick again (“Another kidney stone. I swear to god, that girl needs to drink some actual water instead of those shitty energy drinks.”), practicum had somehow lost their footage for their competition film (“Not my problem, they know better by now.”), and team-building with Minecraft.

Eventually, you drift toward the theater and take your seats. You’re quick to shuck the flannel you’d been sporting around your waist, “You left this at mine, by the way.”

“Is that so?”

“You sly fuck,” you chuckle, setting it in your lap, “You think you’re really somethin’, huh?”

“Uh, I don’t think so, I know so sweetheart.”

“Right, right,” you play along, “When will the government stop you? No one man should have all this power.” You gesture vaguely to his, well, everything.

The lights dim in the theater and the audience falls to a hush. Eddie holds your hand across the armrest, your fingers playing with his rings every so often. You’d been characteristically mum about Saltburn, other than saying he’d love it because “you’re a freak like me, just go with it.” Had even roped the kids into stonewalling him too, even El and Will would not crack for love or money.

To be fair, you had seen some fucked up shit in your time— Salo, Audition, anything Cronenberg, Cannibal Holocaust, and then you’d accidentally saw that snuff film one time and needed a full 24 hours to recover from the shame of it all. You’re generally one of the few able to give him a run for his money, though his movie tastes tended to gravitate toward horror and cult classics. The common ground between you was Stanley Kubrick’s work, the final nail in the coffin being the Christmas Eve showing of Eyes Wide Shut you’d invited him to, promptly fucking his brains out afteward.

Considering that the preshow offerings ranged from 2006 Britpop music videos played in between previews from Remains of the Day, The Servant, Parasite, and Cruel Intentions, he was thinking this weekend would play out similarly to that night. And he did not mind one bit.

“So,” you coyly ask afterward, pinkie looped through his as you walk out of the theater, “Tell me your thoughts Munson,” a tantalizing bite to your full bottom lip, “Are you more of a bathtub drain, vampire, or grave dirt kind of guy?”

“That is so out of pocket, babe,” He laughs, slinging an arm over your shoulder, “Because you,” he thumbs at your nose, “Already know the answer to that.”

You hum contendly, unclipping the keys from your beltloop. “So, all of the above then? Good choice.”

“Yeah? I thought so.” He pulls you close for a kiss, crashing his lips over yours, sliding his tongue— sweet and heavy with promise into the space of your mouth. Everything is hot, burning like coals against his skin. Your breath, lips, chest, and legs pressed so temptingly against him— even the little pads of your fingertips scorch right through him.

Eddie hisses when your nails dig into his back, scratching down until you reach the sliver of skin at the base of his spine, fingers trailing against the juts of bone there.

He gasps when you pull back with a dreamy sigh, and you look up at him in a daze. “So, you have competitions this weekend?” you ask, tongue darting out to wet your lips.

“Unfortunately,” Eddie says with a wince. “Can’t give you the whole tour of pound town tonight, darlin’, we leave early tomorrow moring.”

“Ugh,” your head falls to his chest as your arms wrap around his waist giving a tight squeeze, “Well, in that case, be safe.”

“Be good.”

“Ha,” you say stepping back, “Miss me with that bullshit.”

Eddie laughs, “Yeah, in my fuckin’ dreams, right? You’re a disaster.”

At that, you merely stick out your tongue and cross your eyes before slipping into your car. You wave before pulling out of the parking lot.

Later, back at the loft, Eddie texts you already knowing you’re more than likely already asleep.

Ah crap. The ONE thing he really enjoys, and could probably get very good at--but he's stuck with garbage exposure and weak flash, cuz he can only take nighttime photos. U_U

And yet,I still feel sad when he got caught & taken away from reader while precious innocent little reader just waits for him to come home as usual (like a good little wife already) but he didn't 😭 My heart breaks reading how soft he's being with reader after he robbed (ha) her of her virginity,how he offered to be the breadwinner for them both (I know I requested this but it's still so cute seeing it come to life with your writings) & imagining their domestic life together afterwards- 🥺😭 I have a few headcanons of their domestic life together such as how excited Bucky was when he got his first paycheck from his new honest job because he wanted to treat his sweet little future wife as his new improved self to something nice,even as he's saving for that diamond ring he promised her. Or at least tried to because I can see reader refusing to let him treat her,because she only needs her Daddy's attention everyday,making Bucky's heart swelled for her more and refused harder to ever let her go. I know you wrote that Bucky excuses her out of her outdoor obligations which I understood to mean that he asked (demanded to quit her job) but since he improved himself,wants a marriage and the normal/regular domestic life with her (with the added dd/lg elements to it) that most couples have,he probably takes her out on dates as a start,right? It's not like she's gonna run away anyway,she's way in too deep in the stockholm syndrome and he's 100% aware of this. She doesn't even realize she's his captive this whole time. Ofc,this would be as months passed where they grew closer and reader starts to fall for him. Imagine they went on a carnival date where Bucky tries to win her a stuffie friend for Kiki,I could cry just imagining it 😭 The calm before the storm 😭💔

I can't hate Bucky at all in this. I just can't. He's so lovable even in his own fucked up ways. And may I add,roguely charming 💘🖤 Oh and funny too. I giggled at that scene where his cock kept sliding off and he just giggled and called her pussy a brat that needs taming 💀 Like the whole thing is a joking matter to him while Reader's fearing for her life lmao. There's so many things I can list off about this Bucky. You fleshed him out so well and so hauntingly beautiful,especially in his obssession with reader. And his determination to get her back no matter what. I can't imagine him going about his day working while daydreaming about coming home to his future wife like he usually does everyday and only to have a bunch of authorities showing up and seizing him (or worse,tackling him to the ground) and not letting him come home that day after all. Omg,I'm sobbing..... 😭 Seems like he misunderstood that reader's the one that reported him or maybe he has that paranoia lingering everyday during their domestic phase together that she one day would report him & escape him. He must've felt some kind of betrayal & held some kind of grudge for reader for thinking that she reported him while he's locked up in jail for some time while being perfectly aware that he's the one started all this in the first place 😂 Did he feel some kind of guilt at all? He let her come to the realization of everything and just let her speak while emotion passes over his face for a brief second. Is it guilt or is it because she realized and finally shook off her stockholm syndrome? That he's afraid she won't be compliant as before? That he would have a harder time to have that normal domestic couple life with her again now that she's fully aware that their domestic life together before wasn't just that,it was also him keeping her captive? I think it's the latter,I don't think he feels guilty and regrets anything he did to reader at all,he went to get her back after all. Reader definitely still loves him even after she realizes,she's not even putting up a fight and just let him take her,again. He'll cling to her for sure and will never let her out of his sight again in fear she would be taken away from him for a third time. Maybe they'll both cling to each other because Reader just misses him as much as he does her. Oh,he's definitely finally getting that diamond ring he promised her this time so she's truly his in name now. I can't tell where he would bring her to live this time tho to be off the radar and not getting caught by the police again.

Oh,can I also talk about the psychological aspect you smoothly incorporated into the story? It's genius! 🙌🏼 You're brilliant! 🙇🏻‍♀️ And heartbreaking on Bucky's part 🥲 Where she doesn't seem to remember him for a second Where her brain is trying to supress her memories of him and their time together because of that therapy since she took a while for everything to come back to her. She doesn't even remember his name or his face when Bucky pushed her to remember him 😭 I'M CRYING 😭😭😭 Man,that therapist must've been really good OMG. She literally NEEDED to see HIS FACE to finally remember EVERYTHING. To finally remember him. He was a bit mean with her at the bank but I can feel his heart breaking into a million pieces when Reader said "I don't know!". Which is another reason why I don't think this Bucky is dark DARK or outright fully mean. He's soft dark for sure. I don't think he really meant it when he said he's gonna cut her tongue out. I took it as he was just really angry and said it as an empty threat that he won't actually carry out because he still thought she reported him,went to therapy on her own and willingly made herself not remember him,willingly erase or suppress him from her memories. The way he did it is not gentle but I still felt my heart clench when he kept pushing her to just remember him by demanding her to say it's him while he roughfucks her. That part is angst to me,can I count that as angst? I feel like I got Stockholm Syndrome too since I seriously felt pity for Small World Bucky & wanted to protect and defend him lmao 💀

He then plant a kiss on Ruby's forehead to finish his demonstration. It took a while for Ruby to process what just happened but when it finally reaches her. Her reaction towards what Jaune just said to her can be described as incredible.

I am actually procrastinating right now-

hello wakanai!! funny seeing you here on my main blog! i love your no pressure asks, but for future reference, this blog is preeeettty inactive, and i really need to revamp it into a directory for all the sideblogs i use. in the future, i'd prefer you send asks to @cousticks or @justified-or-just-obscene since those are the ones i post the most on!! there's more content on those ones anyway so it'd be more fun! i have a lot of blogs, i know. that's only three of like, six. tysm for following me on other blogs though its fun to have the little mutuals tag next to a name

anyway, asks!! a read more since, as usual, i rambled quite a bit <3

I am a huge procrastinator. its a problem. its gotten me into trouble before. but, lets talk about procrastination a bit, especially since there's usually a lot of guilt around it. sure, procrastination can just be procrastination, but not always! sometimes there's other things going on, be it having a hard time getting out of a fixation mindset, stress and anxiety freezing your brain to the point you can't work, a lack of understanding on a certain step making you not want to work on it, or just... being something that sucks for you being really difficult to work on or do. or just something that takes a lot of mental energy you don't actually have because you used it all just functioning as a person in your day-to-day life. all of these have happened to me, and i wrote them off as "procrastination" and got frustrated with myself, ultimately making the problem worse until panic took over and i got something done. sometimes if you're having trouble starting a project you need to take inventory of yourself and figure out where that road block is happening, and try to take care of yourself before you can take care of your assignments.

i guess tips to "actually do things" kind of follows from my procrastinator bit above, haha. as i said, sometimes you really need to take stock of yourself and allow yourself some grace. or find a kind of music that really pumps you up, or find a way to reward yourself. unfortunately the 'reward' bit requires the mental discipline to... not just skip straight to the reward instead of doing your tasks. it doesn't always work, but for at least smaller chore-like tasks, such as taking out the trash or doing dishes, i kind of mentally go "alright. we really need to do this thing. ready? three... two... one... up." and then just. get up. i experience a lot of what i consider "mental inertia." you know, objects at motion tend to stay in motion, objects at rest tend to stay at rest. the hardest part of starting anything is actually starting it. the hardest part of doing my chores is actually getting up to do them, but once i'm at it, i can usually accomplish more than i originally planned, because i'm already in motion so... might as well. as far as assignments, that's harder, especially when its things you have to sit down and do. don't underestimate the power of a small mental reset. get up, take a small walk around the room, go get a drink of water, use the restroom, take a deep breath, find one (1) song that pumps you up and stand in the middle of the room with your eyes closed and just listen to it for a second. don't do anything else. deep breath and breathe and listen to something you enjoy. you might be surprised at how much better you feel after doing a quick reset. or, if getting up and walking around isn't an option for you, open a new page or a new word document or google doc whatever it is. start doodling or writing or typing stream-of-consciousness style. whatever comes into your head. just things like "alright. lets get some words going. lets do this assignment. lets go. words. we can do this. i know how to do this assignment, even if i'm not doing it yet." blah blah blah. just get yourself moving and writing some words, even if they're nonsense. its okay. that will help get over the inertia hurdle and slowly focus your mind back onto your task. i can't promise any of this helps, but its some tricks that worked in the past!! remember: you can't expect yourself to do anything when you're too stressed or exhausted to focus. let yourself rest to do your best.

its funny you think i know how to get along with people. if you ever figure that out, let me know lmao. but on a more serious note, getting along with people is generally having an open mind. and, oddly enough, expanding your interests or base knowledge on a lot of things so its easier to find common ground with someone. an odd example, but i used to work at a hotel and liked to chat with the guests. tangentially, this is when some of my car bro friends were really getting me into cars. eventually i knew enough to at least have a conversation on the topic, even if it wasn't super in-depth. funnily enough, having base knowledge on cars was able to help me carry conversations with old white guys that checked into the hotel, lmao. point being, the more you know and the more you're open to learning, the easier it is to find common ground with people, be it information or experiences. and the more people you meet and have conversations with, the easier it is. if there's one thing working retail since i was a teenager has taught me, its that eventually you'll develop scripts for things. even normal small-talk conversations, you'll have built-in responses. knowing about clothes, i can comment something nice about someone's outfit, then follow the conversation with more specific information like "oh yeah, i saw a pattern kind of like that at x store, i thought about buying it in a different color for a while! glad to see you living my sweater dreams, haha." that's a kind of quirky example, but i hope you get the gist. just... remember that people exist, and have experiences. my default first question with new people is always about their favorite music or artists, because that's something i know a lot about. you can learn a lot about people from their favorite tunes.

i won't get too in detail about it, but the Beast novel was really bad for me for a while because i have those cool and fun mental problems that give me unhealthy attachments to fiction, especially when i'm in a bad place mentally. i eventually realized i was engaging with fiction in an unhealthy way, and i just... cut myself off. i had to do my best to avoid beast content, eventually to the point i had to avoid anything bsd at all for almost a year, just because i was engaging with fiction in a way that was actually really bad for me. i had to make new social media accounts so i had clean algorithms that didn't show me content, i had to stop listening to music i associated with characters, it was a full hard stop on everything. it took a lot of self-awareness that i wasn't used to having. this was because of some life circumstances, though. i had to remove myself from the real-life circumstances that were putting me in a bad spot before i could really trust myself to engage with any of my fixations again without messing myself up. Beast happened to be the worst for me because its also such an unhappy media to begin with, and i project heavily onto Chuuya, who... y'know, doesn't exactly get a great ending. I'm doing fine now, but there was a time a lot of factors came together to mess me up and i had to remove all of it before i could be alright enough to engage with the things i enjoy.

Honestly, I'm not sure what puts me off people the most. If the vibes someone has are rancid, I avoid them. Generally, blaming others for things they aren't responsible for is a big problem for me. Sure, call people out for things they've actually done, but calling people liars or whatever for shit they haven't actually done or are out of their control but you're just assuming is their fault? That's a goddamn problem. Or people who just kind of... assume the world is out to get them all the time, I guess. Who assume the worst of people at first glance. Everyone is out here just living their lives. Don't take other people's problems personally. Its not about you.

Unfortunately for myself, I usually ignore it or brush it off when someone I consider a friend does something wrong towards me. I don't recommend it. At least, until it builds up bad enough I start to hate them and then I just ghost people. Again, not exactly a good plan nor is it healthy. What you should do is communicate boundaries and cut off anyone who jumps all over those boundaries like its a trampoline park. That's the healthy way to go about it. I'm not exactly the healthiest person, though. Don't take me as an example on how to handle people doing you wrong.

My Thoughts On Chapter 117

First of all, I would like to say 😱🤯, because this chapter is amazing!

For starters, we have Yu who is about turn from the anti-hero of the story who wants to protect all he holds dear to the anti-villain who will do whatever it takes to get his way (which is resurrecting his beloved Mikaela, and maybe even all of humanity).

I liked how Yu was trying to take advantage of Ashera’s desire in saving his sister Krul and trying compare it to his desire of wanting to save Mikaela.

Also I wonder what kind of feelings Ashera had for the current Yu and past Yu, because in this page, I can’t tell whether he is terrified of the First and Yu for wanting to break a taboo in reviving Mika or he feels betrayed that both past and present Yu will only give his heart to Mika.

Why would Sika Madu suddenly tell Ashera that he is no longer needed or of use all of sudden? I mean would it be better to tell Ashera to let Yu devour him and he will save his sister instead? I mean why toss him aside especially when it is obvious Ashera is only working for him to save his sister? He should have just gave him the answer of allowing Yu to absorb him, cause the outcome would really go according to his plan.

I cannot understand why he told him he is no longer of any use and he expects Ashera to obey after that, unless it is a part of him plan, and if it is what is the outcome he hopes to come from it?

Also, I feel bad for Ashera, because he suffered from guilt of cursing his sister, become a demon and servant for Sika Madu, did Sika’s bidding only to suddenly be tossed aside. 😢😢😭😭

I’m surprised Mika is also fighting against Yu by not healing him or giving him any power, but I wonder if that is a good thing because that is just Yu’s consciousness or soul and if he gets kill Yu’s soul will cease to exist, right?

It is sad that Mika wants to die, I wish he would stop blaming himself, especially when it was never his fault and nothing couldn’t be done.

I also like how Ashera is trying to save Yu from making the same mistake he made and from Sika Madu’s manipulation.

He obviously cares about Yu just like everyone around him does despite being a demon.

Just look at Ashera’s face when Yu refused to comply with his pleas.

Maybe, I am naïve, but it is clear from the look on his face, he does not want to kill Yu and he is upset that Yu will fall into the same path he took.

i do feel that with some songs! rarely though i feel it with osts from one piece mostly the strawhats and... law i only heard like 2 snippets he has a different one in the wano card iirc? i might be wrong it played like once unlike the zou one. but the best one for me is to the grand line... when i say i get goosebumps everytime I GET GOOSEBUMPS EVERYTIME. it's so lovely and i really feel like. ascending with that

But Law’s full theme is on YouTube! But, christ, I have so much rage at David this chapter, some of which he definitely doesn't deserve.

This made it into the show. Doesn't that mean the entire freaking world would look at how ripped Max is in present times and just be like, yeah that dude has been going through a crisis. Cause you know the obsessive fanfic writers would be psycho analyzing everything!

“Yes,” David smiled. “Eat, mon ange.”

I'm terrified of whatever happened to make you into who you are now David. But for now I kind of hate you for not being who you used to be.

Yeah, and he went and made millions off of it while exposing your vulnerabilities to the entire world.

“You didn’t ruin my life,” David gasped out loud.

You've been doing that all on your own for the last decade David.

How does it feel David?

Ughhh, I know, ok, I know. My anger at David is not fair. David didn't do anything wrong by choosing to leave Max. Max fucked up and David did what he had to to survive.

It just hurts seeing Max alone and enduring a panic attack without the love and support he needs while David builds a home and raises their sons with Jaden. While David is profiting from their love story and not honoring the people that were a part of it. Its easy to hate David because of this.

Especially since it feels like the only reason they're not together anymore is because Davis chose to leave and not try to fix things with the person he actually loves. Instead he's choosing to live this sad half life and drag everyone down with him.

I agree. It's easy to hate David.

And if you notice,that's what everyone (in the story - and outside the story) seems to be doing as well.

But the thing is, it's not easy to get people to hate you, especially people who loved you and respected you. You actively need to make an effort to get hated on by the people you love, because they will excuse you behavior or rationalize it. It almost sounds like David is making an active effort to remove himself from Max and his family.
