As a Canadian, it goes beyond a pet peeve when films use the worst fake snow imaginable. Like it seriously disturbs me. Have you NEVER touched snow in all your life?? It's crystal water--not the counter of a pastry shop!!

I can’t even watch it any more. I've turned it off. I don't care if the blood witch son ever saves his gf and fights his father to save the fairborns.

Look at this one...made by Canadians, you'd think it'd be better, but those poor actors must have been sweating in those coats.

There was no dragon breath in the cold air, the rope, this rope they were using in the first scene, just the way that this rope behaved--not stiff like with a slight squeak to it, like a proper rope in the winter, but like all flimsy and shit, and I knew that this Canadian show didn't even have the decency to film this in the cold. I would say a shiver ran down my spine, but it was more like a sheen of late summer backsweat.

It takes me out of the scene so hard that I can't watch any more. The magic is ruined.

Canadian Anti-LGBTQ Protests

To all the Canadians out there in Tumblrland. I hear there are going to be a series of anti-LGBTQ protests across Canada sometime soon. I don't know what to make of this. I can't imagine that most Canadians hate like that. It seems that this is another case of those in the minority opinion making loads of noise. Is this another conservative campaign thing?
