Been workin on his model for a week or so… loggin in 180 hours in Blender. This is the first time Ive touched Blender and watched tutorials as I went because it’s been so long since I wanna have a model to animate with!
Finally got the last character model I wanted for my Hazbin-Bounding project done. So now I can really deep dive into getting everyone's outfits based on the other characters done.
In other words, here's an old, grumpy cat.
I've always headcanoned Jan 13 as Bet's birthday, so happy birthday Betrayus!!
I wanted to have a different painting of him done, but school is really kicking my butt this week, so here's my reference sheet of him for the comic instead.
Some notes:
His claws are retractable.
I originally had his hair short in the back and longer on top, but this made him too visually similar to Stratos so now he's a bit scruffier.
His ghost outfit is supposed to be a bastardized version of his commander's uniform. (simplified for my sanity)
All ghosts in the comic will have that glowing line around them. I've gotta find a way to simplify that too for my sanity.
All ghosts will also have a form with legs and a form with just "tails" or glowing extensions while flying, which will save me from drawing those boots all the time and provide some really neat glowy effects.
If you guys have any feedback on what to do with him, please let me know! He'll probably go through a few minor modifications before he appears in the webcomic.
Thank y'all for following! Have a happy Betrayus day!
