Hi!! Hello!!

Yes, my human design of him is pre his transition, also there was another ask which asked for more information on my AU for him but I think I accidentally deleted it so I’m just gonna combine the two

He was a ‚housewife‘ in the late 1800s (I did zero research on clothing and stuff for that time so not everything’s accurate), who had a husband and daughter.

His husband knew of him being trans, and he supported it fully, drawing a mustache on his face and letting him wear his clothes and everything.

Sadly Mumbo didn’t have the courage to go out like this in public in fear of being found out.

His husband was a painter, he owned an art studio and mostly painted oil paintings of landscapes and portraits, he was overall very bubbly and sweet.

Their child’s name was Eliza, she was quite the chaotic and messy type of child but overall lovable. She grew up to be an art teacher :] (cheesy, I know)

As for Mumbo himself, he spent his day, of course, doing ‚housewife‘ stuff, but he also loved to experiment taking pictures with his camera as well as do overall experiments with mechanical stuff, such as build small trinkets like a walking duckling.

Mumbo outlived both of them

Another little lad for RayneKloud’s six hour character design contest on twitch. They where made based on the prompt cyberpunk. They’re my favourite design so far and idk if I’ll top this one boys. I considered selling them but I got too emotionally attached so I’m gonna use them as a second sona. But this design is the final one after I spent a good four more days on it.

This is the version done in six hours I submitted.

Yeah the original colours are really bad and only god herself knows why I looked the six hour time limit in the eyes and decided to design and draw a motorcycle and a gun.

I was gonna call them just Z but I knew Americans would pronounce it “Zee” instead of “Zed” which is way less edgy. You can also tell that they’re mega inspired by the aesthetics of borderlands with a very dirty cyberpunk look. And I was elated to find out that punk mfs love making punk fish because the fin looks like a mohawk.

meet Janka!

above: Janka in to versions - a bare mechanism and a 'friendlier' folk attire

created in 1921 and commercialy released in 1936, named after a character in a famous song, Janka was intended to be the first fully inteligent record-playing machine for personal use. With her creator, Stanisław Lasota, basing its design on popular barrel organs, she was equipped with many different accesories to make her blend in with the enviroment. The most popular one was a folk-based look, inspired by traditional clothing of people of Łowicz, but many different options were available, with some owners even sewing it clothes of its own.

Although the company producing record players promised all of them would be able to change the songs by the voice command, it seems that only the original prototype of Janka retained that function. That's why, while the other copies went on to become just a fancy gimmick, Janka's value skyrocketed, providing Lasota with a great sum of money that allowed him to retire early and comfortably. After his death in 1937, the original designs were found. It seemed that there were no differences between the commercial versions and the prototype - except for the material that the top of the table was made of. In the original, an undefinable green matter has been used, that studies have not been able to replicate. It is suspected that the substance, mixed in with molten glass, was a gift Lasota brought back from one of his travels.

Once an unique antique, original Janka lost value over time. The amazement over her ability to change music at request and memorising entire symphonies after playing them once disappeared, replaced with annoyance, and sometimes even horror, as it seemed the machine gained a mind of its own.

Owners reported music playing in the middle of the night, suspicious movement and the needle skipping over certain words in song, forming a new message altogether. After the last owner, Jerzy Sójka, claimed "the goddamn machine, [it] has a mind of its own, [it's] the devil! devil is speaking to me!", the fate of Janka had become unknown. Many suspect that it has been abandoned in a basement or an attic, with some even claiming they still hear her song being played at night.

honestly it fucks me up just how detailed some sources' claims are when it comes to JFK and lem billings' relationship. of course if we just throw out the idea of them pulling things out of their ass, how was jfk not considered bisexual at least? also i find it pretty amusing how allegedly whenever kennedy was ill (even if for a moment, like dizziness which afaik was a common symptom/result of addison's disease) he needed lem to be there with him no matter yow many nurses (attempted to at least) aided him. if all that was true that would be a mix of both wholesome and odd fuuuuck

Frankly it pisses me off how american queer history is never discussed in the american public. even the most iconic and famous (or infamous) of american figures had had parts of themselves completely overwritten by texts and articles to not rub up sad conservatives the wrong way. So much of history is lost because of this disgusting discrimination but sigh what can i do
