The meetup vlog feels like the perfect end to this era. Dream acting flabbergasted when George tells him that he actually has his visa, George’s anticipation before the FaceTime call, saying goodbye to Wilbur and literally only Wilbur, the stupid flight shenanigans being the last time we will ever see George alone, Sapnap picking him up with a hug and a few goofs, and finally the moment Dream and George see each other.

The fact that they hugged while Heat Waves was playing is what did it for me. I cried a little bit, mainly because it felt like the final scene before the credits of my favorite TV show. Nothing will ever be like what the 2020-2022 DreamSMP Dream Team era was. Nothing will ever match the pining, the jackbox streams, the Twitter banter, the jokes, begging George for a lore stream, late night discord podcasts, the quiz, the cooking streams, the insanity that was everything surrounding Heat Waves, the manhunts, and everything else I’m forgetting to mention. It all happened with the barrier of discord and an ocean between Dream and George. Somehow, even as everyone else gradually started to meet up, that one fact kept this part of their lives in the same section. And now it’s over. It ended with a hug that happened on the beat drop of the very song that defined this time in my life, and I’m sure their lives as well. How fitting.

I’m not going to lie, there’s a part of me that’s a little sad that this season is over. I’ll miss it. But the vods are still there. The art and the fics and the videos are all still there. And at the end of the day, even as I watch the credits roll at the end of this long, emotionally harrowing, breathtaking show, I could not be more excited for season 2. I’m sure that Sapnap, George, and Dream are as well. Probably even more so than I am.

Cheers to a new era, my friends. Can’t wait to see where these goofs take us.

“No?” Wilbur’s face contorted from a look of hopefulness to one of dread and disappointment, as he searched for a look of remorse deep within your teary eyes. He was still down on one knee, holding a black velvet box in his shaky hands, pleading with you to change your answer.

You muttered a soft apology, as the people around you pelted you with hateful glances.“I’m sorry Will, I can't do this.”The room around you was silent, filled with confused whispers and demented faces.

Tears filled Wilbur’s eyes, and his lips quivered with each word he spoke. “W-why? I thought you loved me.” You averted eye contact with him, finding the image of a bubbly bottle of champagne which sat unopened on the table adjacent to yours, ready to be popped open and shared between your family and friends in a celebratory seal of joy. But at this event, no one would be celebrating.

You weren’t ready to commit to him, and despite the many attempts you’d made in the past to postpone his proposal, Wilbur was ready to give his heart to you forever. You dropped his hand, leaving the diamond ring to fall to the marbled floor below. He was speechless in the worst way possible.

Across the way, his mum was seated in a beautiful white cocktail dress. And as the ordeal continued, she proudly spoke the concealed words that sent you spiraling. “She would’ve made such a lovely bride, what a shame she’s fucked in the head.”

Techno- child of Athena that was promoted to god. okay so obviously first thought would be Ares, god of war and all that, but my hot take is that Techno would be a child of Athena because not only is she the goddess of wisdom but she’s the goddess of tactical strategy and to me that seems more like a Techno thing but that’s just personal opinion

Wilbur- child of a Poseidon because the vibes are there

Tubbo- child of Demeter. i have no idea why but like. he like da bee. bees pollinate plants. child of Demeter

Dream- child of Nemesis that was promoted to god

Sapnap- child of Hephaestus

George- child of Demeter. literally why did i write this what was i thinking tell me the process

Tommy- child of Hermes. he always wanted to be Zeus’s kid but then he met him and he was a DICK

Nihachu- shit i had a hard time with this but eventually i decided on child of Nemesis

Fundy- child of Dolos, god of guile. also, looking back, fitting to be the child of a lesser god as he’s like always forgotten

Schlatt- child of Ares, although my opinion has since changed to Dionysus

Quackity- this was difficult, but im gonna go with Hermes. not only is he the god of travelers and trade, he’s the god of gambling. plus the aesthetics of it

Philza- another child of Athena who was promoted to god. he was promoted before Techno

Ranboo- ooh personal favorite i put so much thought into this. child of Lethe. i was gonna do Mnemosyne to be ironic, but this works alright. note to self maybe in this au that’s how he lost his memory: the River Lethe, which had a... lasting effect

Some major ghoul groups/gangs/territories are:

The Hermits:

A gang of powerful and mysterious ghouls

Most advanced and territorial of the gangs

Some doint see humans as people and exploit them for food and resources,some do but think of it as a necessary evil,some are trying be more hospitable to humans

Generally have a "doint mess with us and we doint mess with you" principle

Lead by a high ranking ghoul called "X"

Many members are presumed dead my the CCG (they're wrong)

Close allies with the crazies

The Crazies (alsmp/empires):

There territory is considered a safe haven for peaceful ghouls and human whare they have a symbiotic relationship

humans provide ghouls with bodies of the dead and ghouls use their abilities to help with things like housing,hostile ghouls etc.

Human-ghoul relationships are generally accepted.

Everyone living in crazy territory is obligated to follow the rules,while the members enforce them and deal with outsiders

They have a large influence and many powerful ghouls,it is general law not to cause trouble in crazy territory.

most major ghouls are connected to them in some way

The CCG knows that some of the leading ghouls exist,but they doint know about the territory and the humans doint snitch

Founding members: Cyan (Scott smajor), Shadow (ldshadowlady), Green bean (smallishbeans), Rainbow (joey graceffa), Fox (seapeekay), Cat (yammy) (deceased), Space (Laurenzside) and Panda (theorionsound)
