“A coupon book? Are you kidding me?!”

Taehyung merely gazes at you with that annoyingly calm expression of his, the one you loathe, while you pry the booklet out of the box, holding it by the edges as if its very existence offends you. Which it kind of does, seeing as how it’s a gift from your least favorite coworker. And a fucking cheap one at that. This man waltzes around in designer clothes, gets ridiculously expensive haircuts, and drives an overpriced high end luxury vehicle. In your line of work as pharma reps, image is everything. And yet this is the Secret Santa gift he gives you?!

“I made it myself. They say the best gifts come from the heart,” he informs you with a slight pout of his plump lips, brushing his honeyed blond locks out of his face.

“I’d buy that if I thought you had a heart,” you retort. Kim Taehyung is a master manipulator. He knows exactly how to play your customers. It’s why he’s consistently one of the two top reps at your company.

But that other top rep? Is you. And you’re too smart to fall for his wounded puppy routine.

Taehyung rolls his eyes. “Just take a look at what’s in there,” he insists, pointing with the hand holding his cocktail, making the ice clink against the glass. He props himself against one of the chairs in front of your desk, the sleeves on his black shirt rolled up to display sinewy forearms that flex as he raises his drink to his lips. Despite your disdain for this man, you have to hand it to him - even in a simple button-down and slacks tonight, he still looks rather luxurious.

The revelry of the holiday party still raging throughout the floor is slightly muted in here with the door half-shut. You’d ducked into your office to escape that skeevy HR rep from the fifth floor who kept complimenting your dress a little too much, only to be surprised when Taehyung had followed you in, the silver gift box in his large hands as shiny as the rings adorning his fingers.

Curiosity gets the better of you and you flip through the book. The coupons are simple, just stark white text on black paper. Taehyung wanders around your desk, perching on the corner so he can observe you closely while you read.

“‘Good for one Starbucks run.’ Does that mean you’re buying, or does that mean you’ll go but make me pay?”

“Didn’t realize I had to spell it out for you, but that means I’d buy.”

His condescending tone makes you sneer. “Mmm. I should hope so. Oh, now come on - ‘Good for one hour of mentoring’?” You give him a look.

“What?” The corner of his mouth twists into a tiny smirk. “That’s actually a priceless deal. I wouldn’t give my sales secrets away to just anyone for free.”

“You’re unbelievable. Congratulations on doing the absolute bare minimum for my Christmas g-” You break off as you turn to the last coupon in the thin book. Reread the words several times. Then glance up at your coworker. “I take it back. Thanks for giving me a completely useless gift.”

Taehyung’s eyes narrow. “I beg your pardon?”

“Why would you give me a coupon that’s no good?” And you hold up the final piece of paper, upon which is inscribed, ‘Good for one mindblowing orgasm, no strings attached.’

“No good?!” His pitch rises just as his eyebrow does. “That’s a serious offer.”

“I’m not doubting that you’re offering, Taehyung,” you purr, voice smooth as silk. “I’m doubting that you can guarantee it.”

He doesn’t respond to that, just taps his glass with one long finger while his dark eyes study your face. Then he stands and walks towards the door. An insult is on the tip of your tongue as you watch him retreat, until you realize he’s not leaving.

He’s locking the door.

You stay silent as he slowly strolls back around your desk. There’s a charge in the air as he places his hands on the arm rests of your chair and leans over until you’re face to face. “Would you like a free sample?” he murmurs, lips close enough to yours that he inhales your shocked gasp. “I’m feeling… generous.”

It’s not necessarily that you want to fuck your annoying coworker. It’s just that you can’t pass up an opportunity to prove him wrong, especially about something he’d brag about like this.

That’s what you try to convince yourself, anyway, as you reach out and roll the top button of his shirt between your fingers. “Go on, then.”

He wastes no time, taking you by the hand and pulling you into his arms. His lips are firmer than they look, keenly sucking your bottom lip into his mouth and lapping at it. You whimper, melting against him, making him laugh.

“I knew you’d be easy like this,” he hums, one hand sliding under your thigh to lift it, wrap it around him. “Like putty in my hands.”

“Fuck off,” you grumble roughly. The heat behind your words isn’t anger. It’s pure, unbridled lust, finally released after years of being pent-up. You’ll likely regret this in the morning, but right now, all you want is him. And he clearly wants you too, judging by the sizeable bulge you keep rubbing against. “Don’t you have something you should be doing right now? Something to prove?”

“So impatient,” he clucks, shaking his head. “Fine. You wanna get right down to it?” His hands slide under your skirt as he cocks a brow. You nod, and he grips the waistband of your stockings, pulling them to the floor as he sinks to his knees. jay flexed his biceps and looked at it proudly. “sadly, there weren‘t many opportunities to train my arms. i might just head straight to the gym when we‘re back.“

“did you know,“ started sunoo, “that the word ‘muscle‘ comes from the latin term musculus, meaning ‘little mouse‘? that‘s what they saw when looking at a flexed arm.“

“how would we know that?“ said jungwon. “and how do you know that? did you double check your sources?“

“y/n told me all about it. she‘s so knowledgeable.“ he started smiling fondly.

a chorus of ‘of course‘ echoed through the car. y/n again. the car turned silent, the music on the radio and the soft breathing of the boys the only thing you could hear. the members were all very well aware that once the y/n talk started it was impossible to make it stop.

bts‘s dynamite started playing.

“talking about fun facts,“ sunghoon and jake exchanged glances, “the last time y/n and I heard dynamite on the radio she remembered this: peanuts can be used to make dynamite. isn‘t that incredible?“ he exclaimed full of wonder. “i don‘t remember the exact process but something turns into something which then can be used in dynamite.“

“aha,“ said jungwon. “the beauty of mother nature.“

“very true,“ agreed sunoo passionately.

he rested his head on his hand and looked out the window.

“just like this sunset,“ he went on. “how beautiful it is with all its pinks and oranges. but did you know that sunsets on mars are actually blue? but i think the ones on earth are so much cooler. i miss watching sunsets with y/n, i‘ve been so busy lately. it‘s been too long since i last saw her.“

“why don‘t you write her a love letter if you miss her so much“ it was a sarcastic remark made by riki but sunoo nodded passionately.

“she might like that. i should sent her an e-mail.“

many eyebrows were raised.

“do i even want to know?“ asked jake.

“hyung, you might actually know this but in australia there are people who write love letters to trees. the system was originally set up so people could report if there was anything wrong with the trees but they started addressing love letters to them instead.“

“y/n is a tree. got it,“ teased jay.

sunoo sent a sour look his way. but before he could retort, a loud grumble interrupted the tension. heeseung clutched his stomach.

“god, i’m hungry. we should order something to eat.“

“ooh, I want pizza,“ exclaimed riki.

jay pulled out his phone. “i‘ll order. is domino‘s okay?“

everyone nodded. pizza was always good.

“i‘ll have the korean sweet potato one,“ said sunoo. “y/n likes that one best.“

“on the topic of y/n,“ he began yet again but was quickly interrupted by sunghoon who was rolling his eyes.

“what fascinating other trivia did she tell you?“

“japan‘s domino's used to have a reindeer training program to deliver the food during christmas a few years back but they had to stop because the reindeers were too hard to train. cool concept though.“

after registering the looks of his members, he puffed out his cheeks. “fine. i‘ll be quiet.“

no one protested. jay ordered the pizza and they all spent the rest of the ride on their phones.

sunoo decided to text the love of his life.

sunoo: my love, how are youuuuuu? <3

y/n: i‘m good but i miss you :((((

y/n: how are you doing? ^-^

sunoo: we filmed another en-o‘clock episode! we went to the gym this time

sunoo: i swear I almost died

sunoo: i need to tell you all about it!! it was SO funny

sunoo: do you have time to call in about ten minutes?

y/n: why don‘t we talk now? :)

they were pulling up to their apartment complex now.

sunoo: gimme a couple of minutes to go inside and then i‘ll call you

y/n: you could do that but that would be quite inconvenient if we‘re already talking in person

sunoo: huh?

sunoo: love??

y/n: look out of the window ;)

sunoo almost dropped the phone when he spotted his dear girlfriend waiting in front of the main entrance. luckily, the car was already standing still because sunoo would‘ve jumped out regardless to greet y/n by spinning her around.

he gave her a quick peck, grinning from ear to ear. her expression mirrored his.

“but how?“ he wondered.

she nodded towards the members who were just now exiting the car. jay held up his phone.

“you were being so incredibly pathetic that I decided to put you out of your misery. i ordered one more pizza too, so enjoy.“

sunoo wiped an imagined tear from his eye. “thank you, hyung.“

jay rolled his eyes but still smiled.

y/n grabbed sunoo‘s hand and they walked inside, swinging their arms. they took off their shoes and left them by the entrance.

“how long until the pizza arrives?“ asked jungwon.

“around ten minutes,“ replied jay.

“perfect. just enough time to prepare my overnight oats.“

“did you know that the first breakfast cereal had to be soaked overnight before it could be eaten?“ y/n asked sunoo while walking towards the couch. “they baked graham flour into brittle cakes, crumbled it up and then baked it all again. it wasn‘t edible at all if it wasn‘t soaked overnight.“

“i didn‘t know,“ smiled sunoo, “but now i do.“

he pressed a light kiss on her nose, then pulled her into a tight embrace.

“i learn so much when i‘m with you.“

“I heard this movie was stupid.” I gasp at his comment, hand clasped dramatically over my heart.

“Don’t you dare insult Napoleon Dynamite!” He rolls his eyes with a muffled snort at my antics. “This movie is hilarious.” Perching myself upon my couch in a pair of comfy sleep shorts and a loose-fitting tee shirt, I grab the remote and point it at the TV before hitting play. I spare a quick glance at the man who has practically become my best friend these past few months. With his black sweats and gray hoodie, he looks more relaxed than I’ve seen him since that night in the bar. Even with the movie playing, it’s hard not to notice little things about him, even now. “What does the R.P.D. on your sweatshirt stand for?” The question takes him off guard, looking at me, and for a split second, it looks like he’s not even in the same room as me anymore, although he shakes himself out of it fairly quickly. It’s almost impossible to miss the glazed-over look in those eyes.

“Um, well,” he pauses, looking for the right words.

“You don’t have to tell me. I didn’t mean to pry.” I rest my hand on his covered forearm gently, and he looks as if I’ve shocked him, snapping his gaze onto me.

“No, it’s okay. I’m sure you heard about the whole ordeal that happened in Raccoon City a number of years ago?” I nod, not quite sure where he’s going with this. “I was there.” No fucking way. Sure as hell explains the haunted look in his eyes.

“I thought they sterilized the whole city after the outbreak?”

“They did. I managed to get out before that, along with Claire. I said I used to be a cop. I was a cop in Raccoon City.” For a moment, I’m silent, processing this new information. RPD. Raccoon City Police Department. Everyone heard about Raccoon City. The zombies that ran rampant after Umbrella accidentally let a virus loose in their lab. All the lives that were taken. Then, the government dropped bombs on it, completely wiping out everything inside, dead and living included. Unsure of what I can even say at this point, I take to just giving his arm a reassuring squeeze.

“I’m glad you made it out.” It’s all I can think to say, no apology is going to mean a thing at this point. He rests his hand on top of mine, almost like he’s trying to ground me with a touch. I always find myself surprised by how hot he runs, his touch warm and comforting, like some kind of security blanket. He takes a deep breath, eyes scanning around the room before changing the subject without further signaling from me.

“Your apartment’s nice. Homey,” he says, sinking further down into the plush of the couch.

“Thanks?” I accept the compliment hesitantly, a smile growing on my face anyways.

“Yeah. It’s better than my place. I have one dead plant in the corner by the door, but besides that, it’s pretty much just furniture,” he explains, grinning at the photo of my sister Natalie and I hugging and smiling, her petite frame dolled up in her wedding dress, my own body wrapped in light blue chiffon. Her maid of honor. “Who’s that?”

“That would be my annoyingly charming little sister on her wedding day.” The memory flashes in front of my eyes, the image of her teary smile as she said ‘I do’ to her husband, James. The giggles as we danced together. The tears we shed as James stood up and talked about how honored he was to be able to be standing up there, marrying the woman his best friend, our brother, had introduced him to before he died.

“You look happy,” he observes, looking at me for confirmation.

“I was. That was 2 years ago. Natalie’s pregnant now, due in 3 months.”

“Well, tell her I said congrats,” he says, arms crossing over his chest, a small smile on his features as he turns his attention back to the screen. We are both silent for a minute, but due to the earlier conversation, he’s not quite able to follow the plot for a minute, trying to piece together information that he missed.

“You said you don’t have any decorations in your apartment?” I find myself asking in favor of the movie. Leon snickers, eyes looking back at me.

“You know, you’re the one who wanted to watch this movie,” he teases, holding no ill will in his words though. “But no. I’m rarely there. Thinking of actually moving somewhere cheaper since I’m only there for maybe a week or two at a time before I get shipped off for God knows how long.” He seems frustrated at this, his job, the hours. The loneliness.

“Have you thought about getting a roommate?” I suggest, rotating my body so my feet are resting on the couch, knees brought up to my chest, facing him. Maybe having someone to share the rent would make his financial load a bit lighter, but I’m quickly shut down.

“I tried that. I haven’t been able to find anyone who is willing to put up with my chaotic schedule. Half the time, I don’t know when I’m coming and going. That tends to frustrate a lot of roommates.” He sounds exhausted.

“Sounds lonely.”

“Well, I’m content in my loneliness.” He smirks, parroting my own words back at me. I slap a hand across his arm gently.

“Seriously though, I didn’t think a roommate's schedule mattered most of the time, as long as they aren’t obnoxious when the other sleeps,” I admit, chin resting on top of my knees.

“Well apparently, it does, in fact, matter. Which sucks. I would need to find someone who could put up with not knowing when I’ll be here and when I won’t.” He glares at the ceiling as if it’s personally offended him, furrowed brows and lips curled downward. Don’t. Don’t fucking say it. Don’t.

“I could.” Had to open my fucking mouth. Leon’s eyes immediately snap to me, his frown replaced with a surprised expression.

“What?” He asks, almost in disbelief.

“I have an extra room. And I don’t mind the chaotic schedule,” I mumble, suddenly very embarrassed by my outburst. “Plus, I could keep your plant alive.” He finally cracks a smile as he laughs.

“You’re serious?”

has a strict bedtime for his kids at 08:30pm until they turn 10

Feel like he doesn’t allow his kids to have any kinds of sweets till the weekend, or on special occasions, Halloween/ Christmas / Easter / birthdays, etc. 😭

His kids birthdays is his top priority, he doesn’t care about either your own or his own birthday in comparison. (sorry, not sorry)

picks his kids up in his arms after a long day at work. picks them up so high so he can hear them giggle and praise him for being such an amazing hero.

Buys them your and his own hero merch.

Wouldn’t mind if his kids turn out to be dynamite fans.

Loves them so much to the point where he try to gloss over any interview questions about his kids.

Definitely put them in the best, kindergartens, elementary schools, and definitely advice them to join UA.

Trains their quirks when they get one, the usual place for training is in the backyard which makes you mad, but at the same time you love seeing your kids and husband spend time together.

In general, I think Midoriya is a good father, loves his kids and wife equally.

Death threats - An edit made of D4dj First Mix's anime opening to the song Pimp named slickback x Magnolia. It gained popularity online at around November of 2021 as a draw-characters-doing-this trend

First Mix & Petit Mix - First Mix is an anime centered on 3 of D4DJ's (currently 6) units: Happy Around!, Photon Maiden, and Peaky P-key. Petit Mix is a spin-off series that released episodes every week(?) until the D4dj: Groovy Mix's official ENG release. It features all of D4DJ's (currently 6) units (and wild stuff happens ig)

Saki's Synesthesia - In First Mix Episode 11: Voice of Evolution, and in Petit Mix Episode #4 (Photon Maiden's Cosmic Color Analysis), it's stated that Saki has the ability to see colors in emotion and sound. She uses this to her advantage by reading the emotions of the crowd.

D4DJ Groovy Mix - D4DJ: Groovy Mix is a mobile rhythm game featuring (currently) 6 units and many stories centered around the units to play through (it's also probably why you're here reading this also lol)

TsubAoi is canon - From the unit story, to in-game interactions, to individual character cards, Double Mix, and even Petit Mix (See: Ep. #18 titled "RONDO Love Song") it is heavy implied that Tsubaki and Aoi may be just a tiny bit fruity

Maho's "Dynamite" - In First Mix, Episode 6: Fall Camp, Happy Around! are playing cards when Maho suddenly barges in and reminds them that they forgot to study for their finals. Chaos ensues and Maho, who literally just ran out from the bath, panics as her towel falls down. Rinku says "Ooh, Dynamite!" in response, probably referring to her body

T-posing Maho - At the end of every First Mix episode, you can see Maho dancing to WOW WAR TONIGHT (anime ending theme). At the end of her jam session, she T-poses

Rinku slurping food in high speed - In Episode 7: Holy Gifts of First Mix, Happy Around is unable to secure a venue to perform for Christmas. Rinku storms off to "eat her sorrows away" resulting in one of the smoothest animations in the anime so far.
