evermore is still, to the day, the craziest thing Taylor has ever done. Like, we hadn’t even gotten used to saying TS9! I really love the songwriting here and struggled so much to narrow down my favorite lyrics. Plus, I was so grateful Taylor changed her hair to a French braid because imitating her folklore space buns is hard!

Song I am Most Likely to Forget Exists Every Time: Coney Island (for some reason my brain refuses to learn this song)

Also, I don’t care what Taylor says: the Eagles t-shirt is a reference to the band, not the sportsball team. She simply doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

I felt like I had the wind knocked out of me on evermore day. folklore was enough of a O_O moment but to (uh) double up (uh uh) was just ... bonkers.

I also have to say and it might please some people to learn this because I have notoriously been not super into the song but I listened to evermore today and something new shifted and opened up in me to be able to hear "gold rush" in a new way. I felt unlocked! It was so crazy! I felt like I was hearing a new song.

(this fall) might just kill me: At Rayla’s prompting, Callum goes to the Sunfire elves to attempt to purify himself from dark magic. It doesn’t go as planned. [Fluffier than it sounds I promise]

older, but just never wiser: Callum and Rayla argue over who should do dark magic to free her parents. Angst, hurt/comfort
