”I guess i’ll just leave you to it then, good luck” Rachel said and re-opened the portal and went through, once it closed you and Gar were left alone. It didn’t hit you how awkward the whole thing was until now, when Rachel was there it had felt like you were doing your part in saving the world.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Holidays with Gar

Summary: On the 25th of December, your siblings are left alone back home. Your parents ask you to babysit them. Gar decides to ditch the Titans' Christmas party and accompany you on this special night.

"I have a party tonight, you know that? Isn't there another way?" you say on the phone. Gar clearly notices that something is wrong and approaches you, waiting for the call to end. "I have to go. Yeah, don't worry, I'll be there at 5. Love you too." you say before sighing and hanging up the phone. "What's up?" Gar asks, hands in his pocket. "Oh, nothing." you reply, leaning against the wall. "It's just that my parents are going out and they need me to babysit my siblings." Gar raises an eyebrow. "How old are they?" he asks while you sigh. "One of them's 8, the other's 5. I can't leave them alone." you reply, checking the time. "Ugh, I have to go. It takes almost an hour to go to my house." you sigh. "Tell Dick I won't be able to make it tonight."

Gar puts his hand out of his pocket and caresses your arm. "You know what? Make that two." he adds, earning a giggle from you. "I'm sure you don't want to hang out with me and my annoying siblings on Christmas." He takes you by the hips, turning your frown upside down. "Maybe I do." he whispers. "I'll tell Dick we'll be going out for the night." he adds before breaking away from you. "God, I love you." you tell him, smirking. "I know you do." he replies while heading to the living room.

You turn around a jokingly hit his arm. "You wanted to come, didn't you?"

He shakes his head while smiling. "Alright. Just for you." he says after kissing you on the forehead.

Gar turns to you while you walk down the stairs after putting your siblings to bed. "So what, we have a whole four hours just to us now?" You giggle and feel his abs. "I guess we do." He blushes a little and reaches in for a kiss.

"I gotta give you something." you say after the kiss. You stand up and pick up a gift bag. "I thought that was for your mom." he teases. "That one is in my room. I was going to give it to you during the party, but here we are." He giggles and takes your hand. "Thank you, Y/N." You smirk at him. "I know, I'm amazing."

He stands up and picks up his bag. "Well, since we're at it, here's yours." You tilt your head and tease him: "I thought there was money and food in there." He opens his bag and takes a wrapped gift out of it. "I'm not the only one with secrets." he whispers while sitting down. "Here." he says while handing to you the gift. You open it up and a brand new computer reveals itself before you. "Since when did you know my computer broke?" you ask while smiling like a complete idiot. "Rachel told me." he adds. "This. Is. Amazing." you look at him, your eyes lighting up like fireworks. "Thank you." you say, leaning your head on his shoulder.

He caresses your face before grabbing his gift. "All right, it's not as amazing as a new computer, I'll give you that." He looks back at you while opening up the gift bag. "If it's from you, it's amazing." He pulls out a green hoodie from the bag. "Look at the back." you tell him while he does just so. "It's our initials. In a heart. And there's also your paw symbol on the sleeve." His eyes light up. "How- how did you do this?" You giggle. "I've got some sewing skills." He laughs and hugs you. "This is amazing, Y/N." You hug him back and the two of you go on for a few seconds. He immediately puts on the hoodie and takes your hand. "Thank you. So much." You reach in for a kiss. "Merry Christmas, Gar."

"Merry Christmas, Y/N. This is the best Christmas ever."

you asked, stifling your laughs as you watched your boyfriend from the mirror in front of you.

garfield logan sat on the edge of the bed, a pile of bows and hair ties on his lap. you could only laugh as he messed around, adding all sorts of accessories to your hair.

"hey, hey," he grumbled, frowning playfully. "you can't rush perfection, okay?"

"gar, i don’t know what you mean by perfection..." you took a breath, shaking your head. "… but this is far from it."

"is it really that bad?"

"babe, my hair literally looks like a bow store."

you turned to face your boyfriend, the two of you bursting into laughter as you made eye contact.

the green-haired male rolled his eyes. "fine, then. do your own hair, i guess." he watched you as you took off the accessories.

you were all giggles as you removed the bows from your hair, oblivious to the heart eyes and endearing smile your boyfriend had as he looked at you.

and in that moment, he knew. heck, you were just taking out the thousand bows he put in your hair, but he knew. and he wanted to let you know.

"hey, y/n."

"yeah?" his serious tone gained your attention immediately. "what’s up?"

"i love you. so very much, i do."

Warnings: Getting stalked by a ghost, death stuff…

Part 1: Working in Madame Xanadu’s parlor and meeting Garfield Logan…

Summary: You think you’re getting haunted by a ghost so you ask Gar for help…

(A/n: Partly based on the music video for ”Ditto” by NewJeans).

(A/n 2: Happy belated Haloween, see this as my Halloween fic for you even though i’m like 3 months late).

You looked at the girl, she was staring at you with an empty look, you tried giving her a small smile but her facial expression remained stone cold. ”Y/n, What are you looking at?” One of your friends asked making you break eye contact with the girl.

”That girl over there” you told him nodding in her direction. Your friend looked ”Which girl?” he asked. You looked back and she had disappeared. ”Nevermind, let’s just go to class” you said and started walking away.

As you walked through the hallway you saw the girl standing with a small group of people, they didn’t acknowlegde her and she didn’t acknowledge them. She was still just looking at you. You ignored her and just walked past her.

Then you saw her again standing with another group of people, still looking straight at you. You did your best to ignore her. Then you went inside the classroom for your next class and sat down.

Your teacher came in and began her class, a couple minutes in you looked down and wrote down some notes in your notebook. Once you looked up again there was the girl standing by the beside the teacher, it made you jump a little but not enough for anyone else to notice.

The girl kept her gaze fixed on you. The teacher did nothing almost as if she couldn’t see her. You looked around, no one else payed attention to the girl. You tried to keep you eyes on the teacher but the girl remained until the end of the lesson.

Once the class ended you were quick to leave the classroom and head to your locker, it was your last class of the day so you wanted to get out of there as quick as possible. You threw all the books you needed in a bag, quickly shut your locker and hurried out of the school.

Once you were outside on the school grounds fresh air had never felt better. You started walking and plugged your headphones to your phone and turned on some music. Then you felt you could start to relax again.

But then the music cut off and was replced by static, then you heard something else in the headphones shaky weak breathing… You pulled off the headphones and looked around… no weird girl insight.

Then you felt a cold hans grab your shoulder, you gasped and quickly spun around… no one… You started backing away, then running and then sprinting until the school was completely out of sight. You stopped outside a coffee shop, breathing heavily of exhaustion and fright.

You needed to find out what was going on. You brought out your phone and went into contacts, you scrolled until you found Gar’s number and pressed call. He picked up. ”Hey Y/n, what’s up?” he greeted you. ”Hey Gar, i need help” you told him seriously. ”What? Are you okay?” Gar asked worriedly.

”Yeah, i’m fine. But i think… I think i’m seeing a ghost” you explained. Gar was silent for a second and questioned ”…What?”. ”I’m seeing a ghost and i need your help” you repeated. ”Well, what do you want me to do? Turn in to Scooby Doo?” Gar joked.

”Gar, i’m serious, i’m getting freaked out” you said anxiously. ”Okay, i’m sorry, i’ll see you at the parlor and we’ll figure this out, alright?” He suggested. ”Alright, thank you” you said and hung up.

You and Gar met up at Madame Xanadu’s parlor and sat down behind the reception desk, starting discussing what to do about the ghost. ”I mean she seemed peaceful enough, she was just creepy” you explained. ”I thought you said she grabbed you?” Gar asked.

”Yeah but it didn’t feel agressive, just… it just caught me off guard” you told him. He looked at you doubtfully. ”I don’t know, okay? I don’t know what a ghost wants to do with me” you stated.

Gar thought for a moment and then said ”Okay, i have an idea, what if we go to your school and just try to figure out what’s up. And if it gets dangerous, we get out of there”. You didn’t like the idea of going back to the school but knew there weren’t many other options.

”Fine but we should pack some stuff” you said bringing out your backpack and emptying it of it’s book, papers and pens. You put in two flashlights, extra batteries, pepperspray and sunscreen (just in case the two of you get dragged down to hell).

”You’re gonna pepperspray a ghost?” He questioned amused. ”Hey, not all of us have superpowers” you defended. Gar uttered a quick ”Oh right”. Madame Xanadu entered a bit later seeing the two of you make plans. ”What are you two up too?” she asked suspiciously.

”Ghost hunting” you answered simply. Madame Xanadu smiled fondly ”Oh, alright, have fun you two” she said, leaving you to it. You and Gar waited in the parlor until the late evening before you left for the school.

You went to the front door, all lights inside were off. Gar transformed in to a bug and snuck under the door, he changed back inside and unlocked the door for you, holding it open for you as you snuck inside. The school was dark and had a slightly ominous look to it.

You opened your backpack and brought out the flashlights for the two of you. You turned them on, shining them down the different hallways. Nothing so far… You decided to not split up as everytime they did in horror movies someone died, so the pair of you started making your way around the school looking for the ghost girl.

You searched for about an hour through the different hallways and classrooms but found nothing or rather no one… You continued your hunt in the school cafeteria but still no sight of the ghost girl. ”Maybe, she’s shy around people” Gar suggested.

”But i was the only one who could see her” you reminded him. You both thought silently. ”I think you might be on to something, maybe she knows we’re looking for her” you stated. ”What do you mean?” Gar questioned. ”Maybe we need to split up so she’ll reveal herself” you suggested.

”Are you sure?” Gar questioned in a slightly worried tone. You nodded. The two of you left the cafeteria and decided to go down different hallways. You were about to start walking down yours but Gar grabbed your wrist and said ”Stay safe, okay? Scream if you need me”.

”I’ll be fine, i’ve got pepperspray, remember?” you joked trying to not show that you were terrified. You both then disappeared down your respective hallway. You walked for a while taking a few twist and turns and then you felt it…

She was here…

The air turned cold, then you felt a hand on your shoulder making you dart around to once again. No one. You shone your flashlight side to side seeing no one. You turned back to the direction you were walking and jumped at sight.

There she was…

You observed her. She was young, around your age, she had silky black hair and a slim figure. Her face had an unemotional blank look as she stared at him. Her school uniform was similar to yours but a bit different, outdated, she had been at the school for a long time.

”Gar, i found her!” you said loudly, not taking your eyes of her. Footsteps echoed as Gar soon came sprinting through the hallway. He soon appeared in the hallway, Gar ran infront of you, shielding you from the ghost girl.

The girl looked frightend but stood her ground. ”What do you want?” Gar asked her. She didn’t answer. You the remembered something, you kneeled down opening your backpack. You brought out your headphones and plugged them in to your phone. ”What are you doing?” Gar asked.

”I heard her before when i was wearing them, maybe…” you started and then waited after a couple seconds you started hearing static in your ears. ”Hello…” a soft, shadowy voice uttered. ”Hi… is that you?” you asked looking at the girl. She nodded.

”What do you want? Why were you following me?” you questioned. There was silence for a moment until her soft voice returned in your headphones. ”Help” she uttered. You looked worriedly towards her. You stepped forward from behind Gar and said to her ”How do we help you?”.

She started walking and waved for you to follow her. ”Come on” you said to Gar grabbing his hand as the two of you started walking letting her lead you deeper in to the school.

After a minute of walking she stopped in front of a door, it led to the schools basement. Her figure faded out and she disappeared. ”Where’d she go?” Gar asked. Then the sound of a door unlocking came and the door slowly opened. She was waiting on the other side and started leading them down the staircase in to the dark basement.

”Should we really go down there?” Gar asked. ”She said she needed help” you said hesitantly and followed her down the stairs. She led you to another door that stood open, you entered followed closely by Gar. It was a storage, you noted as there were several stacks of cardboard boxes, outdated textbooks and a pile of old computers.

”What do you want us to find?” you asked her. Once again static started in your headphones and you heard the girls voice say ”Camera”. You and Gar eached picked up a cardboard box and started looking for a camera.

You looked for about 30 minutes until you picked up and old looking camera covered in dust. You wiped it’s side off revealing several colorful stickers attached to it’s side, including one with a name. ”Ban Heesoo” you read out and looked at the girl and asked ”Is that you?”.

The girls face immediately turned in to a smile as she nodded. ”What do you want us to with it?” Gar asked. ”Start it” Heesoo said in your headphones, in a giddy voice. You pressed the start button, and the screen lit up.

Heesoo and Gar looked over your shoulder and helped you turn on a video, the camera had filmed several girls as they were dancing joyfully in the school gym. There was another video of a cute guy drinking from a water fountain. And another of the girls from before as they were having fun in a classroom.

”What do you want to do with the camera?” you asked but no answer came. ”Heesoo?” you questioned… no answer. You turned, Heesoo was nowhere to be seen. ”Did you see where she went?” you asked Gar. ”No” he said just as confused as you. ”Heesoo?!” you called out… no answer.

”What do you want us to do with the camera?” you asked hoping she’d answer. The static in your headphones started once more and Heesoo’s soft voice said ”Send it to my family”. ”Okay, we will i promise” you told her. ”Thank you, thank you for everything” she said gratefully sounding on the verge of tears, then the static faded.

Heesoo had finally been able pass on.

You put the camera and your headphones down in your backpack. You and Gar then walked up the basement stairs and made your way out of the dark school. You had both grown tired from the nights events, tired enough to have not noticed your hands had been linked together.

——

You invited Gar to stay over in your families apartment because of how late it was and Gar was too tired to object. The two of you entered lazily and made your way to your room you closed the door softly behind you.

You changed in to a hoodie and sweatpants and lended Gar some clothes so he could do the same. Then you both as well as collapsed on to the matress almost immediately falling asleep.

You woke up cuddled together the next day.

The days we have at night

Garfield Logan X Male Reader

Request - Garfield Logan x poison ivy male reader, Gar being absolutely mesmerized by how beautiful reader looks.

Garfield is patrolling the city alone and it's a slow night. He is on the roof and he starts to look down and not many people out tonight. Then he heard a loud noise coming from the laboratory owned by Lex Luthor. Garfield transformed into a cheetah and starts to run towards the laboratory. He noticed the fire on the tenth floor, then he transformed into a hawk and starts to fly. Once inside he transformed back to himself.

He walked towards the vault and you turned around. He is smitten by your looks and he gives you a small smile.

“And who are you?” You asked.

“My-my… my well my…”

“Do you have a stuttering problem? You do know they have therapy for that” You said.

You start to walk away then he starts to follow you.

“My name is Beast Boy! But I have to take you to jail” Garfield said.

You smiled and he likes your smile.

“Sorry, but that won't happen. I hate that big companies don't use their resources to help people. So I'm taking it so I can help people” You said.

“What’s your name?” Garfield asked.

You used your powers to control the plants from the lab. Garfield transformed into an animal and starts to rip the plants apart, but you managed to escape. He runs outside to try and find you but you are far gone.

“Damn!” Garfield mumbled.

You got away and you go to your hideout. Garfield can't stop thinking about and that was the first time he met you.

Days and nights went by… Garfield kept hoping he would run into you. He doesn't know much about you, the only thing he knows is that you can control plants. Then he starts to think about how to search for you.

“Dick, can I use the bat cave computer to do research on someone?” Garfield asked

“Yeah, sure. Bruce is away so he won't be back until next week but I will let Alfred know that you will go to the bat cave” Dick said.

“Thanks!” Garfield smiled.

Hours later… Garfield went to the Batcave and starts to do research. First, he looked up Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley aka Poison Ivy. She is connected to you then he clicked on your profile. He starts to read your profile and it's kinda long, your picture is on the screen and he takes a picture of it with his phone.

“Who is that?” Dick asked

That made Garfield jump and his heart is racing.

“You scared me!” Garfield said.

“Sorry,” Dick said.

“That is Y/n. I'm trying to find him” Garfield said.

“Why?” Dick asked.

“Why are you here?” Garfield asked.

“I thought you would need my help, but I guess not. Looks like he went to Arkham Asylum a while back but -” Dick said

“I’m done. I got what I need but thanks” Garfield said.

He walks away and Dick turns off the computer. Garfield went home and he is looking at your picture and he hopes to find you again.

Garfield knew where all the bad guys hang out, but he couldn't just go in. So, he asked for a favor from the bartender and he agreed to it. He told Garfield where you will be next and Garfield knows the place. He starts to get ready then he starts to brush his hair. Now, Garfield puts on cologne that he stole from Dick because he always buys expensive brands. He left and headed to Gotham Botanical Garden and He is feeling nervous.

“What are you doing here?” You asked.

“To stop you from stealing,” Garfield said.

“I didn't steal anything. I'm just here to take what is mine” You said.

“Do you want to go on a date with me?” Garfield smiled.

“I thought you were going to arrest me,” You said.

“I’m here alone. I have been trying to find out because I really like you, Y/n. I was hoping we can get to know each other and stuff” Garfield said.

“Wow, I didn't expect this to happen,” You said.

“It took a while for me to find you. So?” Garfield said.

“Okay, I will go on a date with you,” You said.

“Awesome!” Garfield smiled.

You used the plants to tie him up.

“What are you doing?” Garfield asked.

“I will still go on the date with you, but I couldn't risk you stopping me from stealing,” You said.

You walked by him and took his phone from his pocket. Then you typed in your phone number then put it back in his pocket.

“You should put a code in your phone,” You said.

“Bye, Y/n” Garfield smiled.

You walked away but eventually, the plants let him go.

You met Garfield at the carnival. When he saw you, he couldn't stop smiling at you. He did stutter a little bit but you want to get to know him. While walking, he gently grabbed your hand. He is happy that you will let him hold your hand.

“They do sell veggie pizza. Do you like vegan food?” Garfield said.

“Yeah, I have tried a few vegan foods. It's hard to find a decent place in Gotham” You said.

“I know what you mean,” Garfield said.

You and Garfield start to eat the vegan pizza. After that, you and Garfield went to play a few games. You and Garfield get in the bumper cars and you are having fun with him.

Later, you and Garfield went to play basketball. You tried to win a plush shark but you lost

“Don’t worry I will win it for you” Garfield smiled.

You watch him play and he did miss the first shot. But in the end, he did win the plush shark for you.

“Thanks. You are really good at basketball. And I'm having fun with you tonight” You said.

“Me too, Y/n. I'm really glad you said yes to the date. I was so nervous to ask you” Garfield smiled.

You and Garfield are smiling at each other. Later, you and Garfield sat down by the grass to watch the fireworks. He moves closer to you then you felt his lips on your lips. You start to kiss him back and he has his hand on your thigh.

“Do you want to be my boyfriend, Y/n?” Garfield asked.

“Yeah,” You smiled.

He starts to kiss you again.

"I'm better now, right?"

Pairing: Gar Logan x GN!Reader

Warnings: mentions of suicide attempts

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Summary: Gar finds you in the bathroom crying and tries to understand why. You decide to explain to him what happened last year: February 10th, 2022.

Gar rushes to the bathroom after he hears you sob quietly, but also loudly at the same time. It's the first time he's seen you in this state, in the shower, no less. Here you are, sitting in the shower with hot water covering your teary eyes with Another Love by Tom Odell playing in the background.

Gar pauses your music and turns off the shower. He didn't care if you didn't clean yourself yet, that's the least of his worries: he wants you to be okay. He wraps a towel around you so you can feel comfortable.

"What happened?!" he asks in horror. "I heard you cry, I- are you okay?!"

He wipes away your tears and holds both of your hands. You sigh in sadness, asking yourself if you should tell him about... last year. February 10th, 2022. The first time you tried to kill yourself.

"I- uh..." It is clear that you can barely speak. Gar looks at you in the eyes with the patience of a literal saint.

"It's okay, take your time." he says, smiling faintly and his voice slightly breaking.

"It's about... you know... last year. February 10th 2022. You know what happened-"

Gar immediately stands up to check the date upon hearing those words. A horrored expression clouds his face when confirming that the date is indeed February 10th, 2023.

"It's been exactly a year." you declare, still sitting on the floor, a towel wrapped around your body.

Gar immediately rushes back to you, standing on his legs to be on your level and taking your face softly.

"Don't worry, Y/N. You're feeling better now, right? It's all in the past." he explains with half a smile on his face.

"I know, but like, I remember it like it was yesterday." you admit, tears welling up. "I remember every single thing I did. I was in the shower exactly a year ago, pills inside my desk drawer, thinking if I should do it. I should've talked to my sister, she was literally in the house! I should've talked to my parents, to anyone! I should've... I shouldn't have done this to them... to you!"

You break down in tears, holding your stomach while Gar hugs you.

"It's okay, calm down. Talk to me, let it out. You have the chance to right now." he comforts you, his eyes welling up tears as well. You take a deep breath before continuing your explanation.

"I literally remember the music I was listening to while waiting for the pills to work, what clothes I was wearing, the faces of the cops when they showed up, everything! The look on my mother's face when she saw me, the disappointment in my father's eyes, all of it is still in my head."

Gar holds your hands tightly to prevent you from losing control of yourself. He caresses your face and nods for you to continue.

"I remember every room I was in at the hospital. Everywhere I went that day, it's still in my mind. The worst is like... the mental hospital. I felt trapped, because I was! I remember everything that happened there, how many times I cried and at what time, thinking what would happen to me. I was thinking about my family, my friends, even my teachers and most of all... you. What would you think when you found out?! I'm just- I'm sorry."

Your green-haired boyfriend grabs your hips and finally lets the tears in his eyes drop while you quietly sob. He wipes away your tears once again before kissing you on the forehead.

"Look, when you did it, I was terrified... of losing you." he explains. "I didn't care how many days of school you missed, or how much homework you would have to catch up on. Your life is worth so much more... so please... don't throw it away. Let me help you. Please."

His voice starts breaking and his tears drop more and more. He finally breaks and hugs you to avoid worrying you. He kisses your cheeks repeatedly and holds your head.

However, you felt comfort when you heard those words. You didn't feel trapped and alone anymore. Someone was actually there for you. It felt like a fairytale. The both of you finally calm down enough for Gar to whisper this into your ear:

"You're stronger now. Don't let it go to your head, okay? I'm here."
