Matt came to door of his parent’s house, a glint of his smile coming out as he saw me. “Hey come in” I smiled at his mom and his dad as I went past them sitting on the couch while I was wearing my comfortable clothes; the regular oversized grey sweat set.
He lead me upstairs showing me his brother’s rooms as we went across them till we got to his bedroom.
I got situated pretty easily in his place since our hangouts were usually at my house “You mind if I change?— I mean cause you won’t turn down the heat” Matt rolled his eyes because i’ve been nagging him about the heat since I got to his house. “Yeah yeah whatever” we snickered more before I dressed again in his bathroom that was connected to the bedroom.
I left, turning off the lights to jump on top of the covers along with him, my ass recoiling with my movement and Matt staring unconsciously. “Hello bighead, stop staring at my ass” He looked away, panning his eyes back to his phone.
For the next 30 minutes Matt has been glued to his device, typing his fingers off to the point where I got curious. I tried to peek but was unsuccessful and I ended up brushing off that thought. “Hey can I borrow your charger my phone just died and I have to text my parents” He glanced at me and shook his head no “why didn’t you bring your own”
“Maybe I just forgot? Like come on” I began to get annoyed of him “No— just call on my phone” I have no idea why he was being so overprotective about a fucking phone charger but I couldn’t care less. Sliding up on his unlocked phone pulled up chat with his best friend.
I think shes trying to kill me
orrrr shes trying to bone you 🤷🏻‍♂️
fuck off
what do i do
do what you been plotting to do?
oh yeah because im just going to tell her that shes making me hard and i want to yk with her?
yes… not too direct but you know
your loser virgin ass is so scared 😂😂😂
Ok and??? shes 100% experienced and i’m the complete opposite
so stop bullying me over MY mobile device fuckface
i will do
virgin boy 😂
Matt snatched the device out my hand before I even got the chance to comprehend what I just read as I was taken aback. I lifted up from the sitting position I was in attempting to read his expression but he turned his glowing red face opposite of me.
I couldn’t believe that an innocent angel child like Matt would text something like that to his best friend about me? We sat in silence for a second “I’m so sorry you saw that, don’t think i’m weird or anything— I’m just sorry”
Well shit.
I’ve never really seen Matt in a different light until now when he texted his friend that he wants to ‘fuck me senseless’. I mean is he fine as fuck, yes it’s obvious but hems my best friend who is really, really fucking fine. “So you want to fuck me?” I took Matt’s chin, making him look at me.
He didn’t have anything to say, just speechless “I’ll let you hit it, if you just say yes” My hand had a mind of it’s own inching up towards his crotch, feeling his bulge get bigger as my face got close to his. He just nodded at me and didn’t know what to expect after that.
I climbed onto his lap, gaping down at him as I kissed him and he roughly bit my bottom lip. He helped me take off my pants to easily sneak his hand into my panties, sliding his slender fingers between my folds and rubbing my clit slowly to tease me. “Faster please”, he pushed his fingers inside me, making my eyes roll back.
He continuously pressed his fingers in my wet cunt looking straight in my eyes knowing he was making me feel good. He put his fingers in so deep making my legs tremble from the sensations filling my cunt and letting cum drip “fuck”.
Matt’s clothed dick was no longer hid as I stripped him of his black sweatpants, impatient as ever. Tussling to get his cock out his briefs, I admired his length slapping his tip to my tongue repeatedly causing him to wince “stop teasing” he whined.
He watched me jerk his length, twirling my tongue around his tip. Spiting onto his dick beginning to take all his inches into my mouth. “Yes like that” hearing Matt’s praise me made my arousal peak, I wanted to hear more of his beautiful moans. I sucked the head of his cock and clasping my lips around his girth, bobbing up and down.
"F-faster" Matt’s hands held on my head pushing it to take in his length, tears coming out my eyes, sucking harder making her head go back “Fuck, yes, yes, more” Matt went crazy from all the pleasure. Liquids spewing down my throat and I felt the stickiness on my tongue.
Matt nervously guided me to hover on his lap slowly positioning me to sit in on his dick. I read his face like a book acknowledging how hesitant he is “don’t be nervous baby, I’ll help you” I caressed his chin.
I did choose cowgirl (position) for a reason. So that he doesn’t have to do much work and so I can see his loser ass blush and bitch at my tits. It’s a win-win
I began lowering my hips on his dick and our natural lubricants making it easier we both payed attention to his cock slowing disappearing in my cunt. “Fuck” Matt quietly groaned with his hand covering his mouth.
Grabbing his hands to hold my waist, my eyes never left his even though he was looking down. To catch his attention back up, I removed my tiny crop top so my boobs could fall in his face.
Matt’s face reddened almost immediately as he was put in a trance while I started to bounce on his dick slowly. My lips parted with my heavy breaths and silent moans. I placed my hands on the wall Matt was leaned upon putting my tits to his face for him to suck on my nipples.
Our warm skin created slapping sounds as I bounced faster, Matt’s lips split letting his whimpers slip out “yes mommy” I cracked a smile hearing him call me mommy and see him be such a submissive boy. I slowed down to prop myself to be on my feet and ride his dick without self-control.
Matt abruptly wrapped his arms around my waist, my nipples were stimulated from his hot, sweat ridden skin. He held me still, thrusting his hips upwards with quickness “MATT FUCK YES” His length abused my hole hitting my g-spot and I shook my head in pleasure, as he bit his lip and smirked at how good he made me feel.
Motions slowed down because of the effort he was putting upon my body and I took control again. The room was filled with pleasure sounds and the smell of sex as an unexpected knot was getting tied in my stomach that was in need of a release.
I felt Matt’s legs shake underneath me and his whine string out along with the sensation of his liquids painting me walls in loads. His head hit the wall in embarrassment from cumming so quickly.
I kept riding his dick overstimulating him while chasing my high making Matt whimper relentlessly “oh fuckkkkk— I can’t take it, I can’t take it— please” His dick was sensitive from the last time he came, he begged until I came on his cock, covering it with my white stickiness.
I went in the kiss his bitten lips open from breathing heavily and his cheeks a bright pink “you feel good?” I asked him with his length still twitching in me, “yes mommy”.

Doughnut Holes
Pairing- Lando Norris x Fem!Reader
A/N: I literally hate this, this is a hodgepodge of randomness, I'm so sorry. I also really want a doughnut hole now. This is @arieslost doing, we couldn't stop talking about Lando and I loved every second.
WC- 6k-ish
F1 masterlist
Tumblr media
One might compare the inner workings of a Formula 1 team to a carefully crafted house. You had the foundation, walls, floor, roof, all of the main components that made a structurally secure house. Then you had the fluff- all the things that weren’t technically needed but the things ultimately made a house, a home. Without the fluff, the house was nothing but a cold, unwelcoming shell.
You would be considered a part of the fluff, you were among those who brought the warmth, the love, and all of the things that the others didn’t. While McLaren didn’t necessarily need you to run successfully, it seemed that a certain driver did.
Lando considered McLaren to be his second home, after all, he does spend the majority of the year with them. The people, the constant movement, nothing was ever still and for the most part he enjoyed it. His whole career was based around speed, but sometimes he couldn’t help but wish for it all to slow down.
Like everyone, Lando had his good days, and then his not-so-good days. The latter becoming more and more constant. It would start off with something small- waking up five minutes before his alarm went off, putting on a pair of socks only to find one had a hole in it, or arrive at a meeting- only to find out that all the doughnut holes were gone. Then it would escalate, it could be anything, from learning that something was wrong with the car to having media duties after a terrible qualifying. Lately, anything that could go wrong was going wrong.
The first time Lando had met you, well more like the first time Lando saw you, was no different. Lando had woken up late, couldn’t find a pair of matching socks, and had a half-dead phone because his charger had broke the night before. He didn’t care for meetings when he was in a good mood, and he certainly cared for them less when he was in a bad mood. By some miracle, he arrived on time for the meeting but not nearly early enough for a doughnut hole. Lando closed his eyes for a moment, he could hear as more and more people entered the conference room and hoped that this day could only get better.
“Mate, you look like crap.” Lando’s eyes snap open and turn to the Aussie driver who looks at him with a frown.
“It really hasn’t been my morning, more like it hasn’t been my week. Nothing is going right and frankly, I’m sick of it.”
Oscar gives him a sad smile, “I’m sure things will turn around.”
“I hope so.”
The meeting had begun like every other meeting, a promise for a good season, what was being worked on, the same old same old. However, they weren’t even at the twenty-minute mark when another person entered the conference room. Lando, like everyone else in the room, turned their heads to the newcomer.
“Sorry,” the newcomer squeaked out, clearly embarrassed by all the attention focused on her. “I’m just here to drop off the flash drive you forgot Zak.”
“Oh, thank you Y/N, what would we do without you?”
“Crash and burn, sir. Crash and burn,” the girl- now known as Y/N replied with a smile. And although you weren't smiling at Lando, he really wished you were.
You had left as quickly as she had came, the only thing left in Lando’s mind after the meeting was your smile and the fact that his day had gotten miraculously better.
Bad days didn’t typically phase you, it generally meant that things would only get better.
But, walking in late to a meeting you weren’t even a part of was not the pick me up you needed. The day had already started out rough- your car wouldn’t start, your sock had a hole in it, and worst of all- catering was out of doughnut holes by the time you got there.
It was a quick 1, 2, 3 drop and go but there were so many important people in that room, including the two McLaren drivers. Even though you didn’t do anything remotely embarrassing, you were up that entire night overthinking it, but in reality, it wasn’t like anyone was going to remember the girl who simply dropped off a flash drive.
Tumblr media
A week had passed since the meeting, and things were looking up for little Lando Norris. He had matching socks, a working phone charger, and most importantly he was holding the last powdered doughnut hole. However, he had not seen the girl from the meeting anywhere. It wasn’t surprising with how many people were coming and going, each had their own responsibilities. That didn’t mean Lando wasn’t disappointed, there was something about that girl.
A quiet ‘son of a bitch’ caused Lando to snap out of his thinking, as he turned to face who was muttering such profanities so early in the morning he was met with the slight of you standing at the catering table.
“Everything ok?” Lando would be a fool if he was going to let his opportunity to talk to you slip through his fingers.
“Huh?” you responded almost unsure if the Lando Norris was talking to you.
“You just swore? So I’m assuming something happened?”
“Oh, it’s nothing really, its just that- never mind it's stupid.”
“Not stupid enough for you to be swearing at 8 in the morning.”
You wave your hand dismissively, "it's just that I woke up on time and got here early all for a doughnut hole and there's none left.”
Lando casts his eyes down to the napkin in his hand that contains the last doughnut hole and holds it out to you, “here you can have mine.”
You look down at his extended hand and bring both of yours up in protest, “No it's ok. I think I’ll survive without it.”
“No take it, I shouldn’t really even be eating it.”
“Are you sure?”
“Absolutely positive,” Lando says as he holds his hand out further.
“Thank you,” you take the precious breakfast treat with little hesitance and pop it into your mouth.
“I’m Lando by the way,” Lando holds out his now empty hand.
“I know, I’d be surprised if anyone working here didn’t know who you were.” You tease, grabbing his hand with yours and shake it.
“Oh, I supposed you're right.” Lando rubs the back of his neck sheepishly, ‘way to make a complete fool of yourself, obviously, she knows who you are’ he thinks.
You giggle at his response and offer him a smile, “I’m Y/N,” but before you can say anything else you are interrupted by the shrill ringing of your phone, “and I am needed elsewhere, have a nice day Lando. It was lovely meeting you.”
Lando watches as you answer the phone and scurry off elsewhere, but he is definitely going to have a good rest of his day now, not even the lack of a doughnut hole could bring his day down.
Tumblr media
Before what you and your coworkers now call the doughnut hole occurrence™, you've never interacted with Lando, there were a few occasions where you happened to be at the same meeting as him, but never enough for him to notice you or have him introduce himself. Now, however, you seemed to be seeing him a lot more, well more than the other McLaren driver. Maybe, it was because both of your schedules lined up or it was like that phenomenon where you see one certain car, then all of the sudden you’re seeing that car everywhere. But what changed in the matter of weeks that now he was everywhere?
You would be lying if you said you didn’t find the British driver attractive. But you were two separate worlds away, you- an assistant who was a constant people pleaser, and he was, for a lack of better words, himself. You didn’t consider the two of you friends, hell you had one conversation with the guy over a breakfast treat. You didn’t even really consider the two of you colleagues, you both ran in different circles of the racing world. That fact didn’t stop you from giving him a smile every time you saw him and to your, and your coworker's surprise, he would give the small gesture a return.
You truly hated being a people pleaser, especially now more so than ever as you stood outside the door of Lando’s driver room. “Stipud Debbie, stupid saying yes. ‘Oh Y/N they need a temporary assistant for Mr. Norris. I told them you’d be perfect for it', ” you mimic Debbie, your supervisor. “Why couldn’t I have said no?”
Many of your co-workers liked to joke that you were a jack of all trades. That you could be pushed into the deep end without knowing how to swim and learn that second. You were a quick thinker, that's how its always been. But even the most flexible of people had their limits, and you were currently staring yours in the face.
Lando didn’t know what to expect as he opened the door of his room to the hallway, but he sure as hell wasn’t expecting you of all people to be standing there muttering to yourself.
“Can I help you?” Lando asked, puzzled as to why you were here.
“Sorry, I don’t know if you remember me, I’m Y-”
“Y/N, “Lando interrupts, “I remember you. You’re the girl I gave my doughnut hole to.”
“Oh, yeah. That’s me,” you chuckle out, “it looks like I’m your new assistant for the foreseeable future.”
“I don’t really see the need for an assistant,” Lando says. His words cause your face to fall, and he quickly tries to backtrack, “It’s nothing personal but during the season I am either- traveling, racing, doing media duties, or sleeping. So I really don’t know who said I needed one.”
“I don’t know either, Debbie, my supervisor recommended me and now here I am,” you gesture out, “and I really don’t want to tell my boss that you said that.”
“Oh, I’m sure we’ll find something for you to do. I mean I do, do things.”
“Ok,” you draw out with a nervous breath, “I mean I am a bit of a people pleasure. As long as you don’t ask me to do anything gross, illegal, or really immoral I think we’ll be fine.”
“See those are all the things I need an assistant for,” Lando jokes. He notices how your shoulders lose some of their tension. “But if you are my assistant does this make me your boss?”
You seem to ponder his question, “Maybe, but probably not.”
“Fair enough.”
Tumblr media
The first few weeks of working for, or more with Lando have proved to be smooth sailing. You weren’t being pulled in eighteen million directions, nor were you running around like a headless chicken. Lando was right when he said he didn’t really need an assistant. You probably answered a few emails, some phone calls, ran out and have gotten him a few random things but that was about it.
There were also a few things you have learned about Lando during your time together. He never demanded, he always asked politely- something that your previous employers and co-workers never did. He also always insisted on eating meals together, anytime he ate he always made sure you were eating too. Lando also talked a lot, not that it was a bad thing, at first it was a bunch of small talk- he asked about your family, if you hand any pets, what your friends were like, what kind of hobbies you enjoyed, things like that. Then he would ask your opinions on things, what he should wear, what sandwich he should get and once joked with you, “you’re my assistant, you should be telling me what to do anyways.” It almost felt like a friendship instead of an employee-employer relationship.
Today was no different, Lando was going on about some TikTok he saw the previous night, a TikTok that he had already sent you. “And the dude wiped out and ate shit. I’m telling you, that while I felt bad, I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard.”
“The way he landed, there is no way he didn’t break a bone or several.” You responded not looking up from your computer.
It was hard working with a funny, talented, kind, handsome man. A man whom you were already attracted to without knowing him and getting to know him, the really Lando Norris, was only making it worse.
“Let's do something, I’m dying of boredom,” Lando drones out, flinging himself down on the couch next to you.
“Lando, I am trying to reply to some of your business emails, y’know my job.” you continue to type away, trying to emphasize your point. However, you are rudely interrupted when your laptop is ripped out of your grasp.
“The emails will still be there later, let's go do something!” Lando exclaims now dangling your computer away from you.
“Like what?”
“I don’t know, I was hoping you’d have an idea.”
“Yeah, I got one.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, it's called giving me back my computer so I can do my job,” you deadpan as you lunge for your computer. Lando's reflexes however are much quicker than your movements, so you are left pressing into him, computerless.
You quickly sit up and turn away from him, trying to hide your embarrassment. By doing so you miss the small frown that Lando gives at your quick retraction.
Lando however quickly recomposes, “I know,” he stands, “let's go bowling!”
“Bowling?”
“Yeah, y’know, the game where you basically throw a heavy ball down a lane and try to knock down the pins.”
“I know what bowling is you doof.”
“Then why’d you say it like that?”
“Because out of all the options in the world, you pick that.”
“For your information, I like to bowl.”
“Yeah, you also like to golf. You really like your old man sports huh?” You tease.
“Hey! That’s not very nice missy,” Lando waves his finger at you mockingly.
“Fine, I apologize Mr. Norris. I would love to go bowling.”
“Yippie!”
“Lando?”
“Yeah?”
“Never say that again.”
“Yeah, right, sorry.”
Tumblr media
Lando was excited, he actually didn’t know why he picked bowling. Truthfully, he just wanted to get out and do something, preferably with you. These past few weeks with you as his assistant have been amazing. Not because he had someone running around doing his bidding, but because he had someone to talk to. At first, it felt weird talking to you, he kept asking you random questions. He didn’t want you to feel pressured into answering him just because in some run-around way he was your boss. He wanted you to feel comfortable around him, and he could tell that the more he joked around with you, the more at ease you felt.
The two of you walked down the hallway towards the exit, talking seemingly about nothing. Well, you were doing most of the talking, not that he minded, he could listen to you ramble for hours. Whenever you were around, everything else became fuzzy. He noticed how your eyes got a certain twinkle to them as you talked about your favorite things. He knew how you loved Oreo cheesecake, and that your favorite doughnut holes were the red velvet ones, but since catering didn’t offer those you had to choose your other favorite, powdered sugar, and that you also had a distaste for fish, claiming it tasted like how still water smelled.
He tried to show you that you were more than an assistant to him. He always made sure to eat with you, he never demanded anything, he asked your opinion on important things. Lando knew, however, that those things were the bare minimum, hence why he asked you to go bowling.
“Where ya going?” The familiar accent of Lando’s teammate stopped them in their tracks.
“Hey Oscar,” you turned to great the Australian, “Lando wanted to go bowling, so I guess we're going bowling.”
“I haven’t been bowling in forever. Last time I went I had to play with the gutters up.”
You gasped, clasping your hands in front of you, “why don’t you come with us?”
Lando froze at your invitation, he was hoping that it would just be the two of you. He could see Oscar's gears turning in consideration. He looked at you then behind you at Lando, who was shaking his head and moving his hand in front of his neck, trying to tell his teammate to say no.
A grin split across Oscar's face, “y’know what, I would love to go bowling with you and Lando.”
At Oscar’s response, you swiftly turned back around to Lando, who swiftly changed his movement. Rubbing the back of his neck he gave you a sheepish smile, “great, the more the merrier I guess.”
Tumblr media
The drive to the bowling alley was painfully quiet, normally the silence would be filled by Lando’s rambling but the Brit had no quirky comments. This led you down a spiral, did you do something to upset him? Was he mad at you for inviting Oscar? You thought the two of them were close and that Lando would’ve invited Oscar anyways after running into him.
The three of you entered the alley still in silence and frankly, you were fed up with it, “is this a bad time to say that I am absolutely terrible at bowling?”
“No,” Lando speaks up, “it just means that I am going play the easiest round of my life.”
The clerk hands you your shoes and assigns your group a lane. “I feel like a clown with these shoes,” Oscar admits.
“You look like one too,” Lando deadpans.
“Jeez, no need to be rude.”
You look at Lando with a raised brow. You can't tell if he is joking or not.
“Anyways,” you but in, shifting their attention to you, “How are we going to decide who goes first?”
“It’s only fair that the master goes first to show the peasants how it's done,” Lando declares.
You and Oscar share a look of ‘can you believe this guy?’ “Go for it then all mighty master.”
You watch as Lando goes for his turn, and much to Oscars and yours amusement the ball goes straight to the gutter. The little screen over the lane plays a silly animation indicating that Lando, had in fact, not hit a single pin.
You are unable to control your laughter, tears pool in your eyes. You have to hunch over in your seat in order to keep your laughter at bay.
“It’s not funny,” Lando pouts.
“You’re- you’re right,” you wipe at your eyes and take a deep breath, “it’s not funny. It’s fucking hilarious.” You managed to get out in between a fit of giggles.
“You're lucky your laugh is cute,” Lando waves his finger in warning.
Your stomach flips at his admission. Your laugh, cute? Your gaze meets Landos and he is quick to turn around and go for his second turn.
“Did I hear that right?” you whisper to Oscar.
“Yup,” is all he offers in response.
You hear a collision of the ball and pins followed by a loud “SPARE!” from the overhead TV, indicating that Lando has in fact struck a spare.
“See I just needed a warm-up,” Lando says wiggling his fingers at you and Oscar. “Who’s next?”
“Ladies first,” Oscar gestures for you to stand.
Rolling your eyes you stand, “wow, so chivalry isn’t dead.”
Walking over to the lane you can’t help but look back at Lando, who gives you a double thumbs up. Taking a deep breath you throw the ball down the lane, and to your surprise, you manage to hit, not one, not two but four pins.
“Not too bad,” you hear Lando from behind you.
“All those years of Wii bowling must’ve paid off.”
“Just don’t throw it backward.”
“I make no promises.”
Your next toss is much better, out of the six pins left you managed to knock down five. You turn around to gloat but the two McLaren drivers are in discussion, Lando looking pissed off and Oscar looking unapologetic.
“Is everything ok over here?” You stand with your arms crossed staring down the two of them. You came out to have fun, not to babysit two pissy twenty-something-year-olds.
“Everything is fine,” Lando snips out.
“If you say so, Oscar you're up.”
The Aussie groans, “you both did good, this is going to be embarrassing.” He points to you, “I thought you said you were bad at bowling.”
“I’ve channeled the Wii bowling Gods and they have blessed me, maybe you can do the same,” you tease as you sit next to Lando.
You turn your attention to Lando and quietly ask, “Is everything ok?”
“Yeah, why wouldn’t it be?”
“Well you were quiet on the drive here, you’ve been a little bit snippy towards Oscar and I. And just now- you were talking to Oscar and you looked pissed off.”
“I’m fine.” Lando shrugs off your worrying.
“He’s just pissy I interrupted your alone time,” Oscar interjects.
“You went already?” Lando asked, surprised by the quickness.
“Yeah, it goes by fast when you roll two gutters in a row.” He shrugs nonchalantly.
“Wow, you really are bad,” you admit, “but what do you mean by ‘our alone time.”
“Nothing,” he shrugs again.
Lando is quick to get up, seemingly uncomfortable with whatever Oscar meant by ‘alone time’. Now you really need to know.
“Oscar,” you poke him in the shoulder, “what did you mean by that?”
“Like I said, nothing,”
“You might be able to act all innocent and good in front of the cameras, but you Oscar Piastri are the biggest shit-stirrer of them all.”
Oscar just shrugs at that, leaving you to wonder what he meant. Did Lando truly just want to spend time with you and only you? Was this just because Lando saw you as a friend and wanted to hang out. Or was this as an ‘I want to get to know you better because I like you and could potentially have feelings for you?’ hang out? The first one, you rationalized, it's definitely the first one.
The rest of the game went in a blur, too focused on what Oscar said and what your overthinking brain was processing.
Tumblr media
Lando has never felt more uncomfortable and furious at the same time, and all because of Oscar’s comment. He really shouldn’t have let it get to him, it was just a friendly jab, Oscar knew how Lando felt about you. He also couldn’t get the look on your face at Oscar's comment out of your head. You probably thought he was a creep or some weirdo.
The ride back, albeit not as uncomfortable as the ride there, was still filled with this silence that Lando did not care for.
“Mate, how did you manage to roll a gutter almost every single time?”
“I don’t know, it's almost sad,” Oscar admits.
“Oscar, it is sad,” you but in, “there has to be a statistic out there or something saying it's harder to do that than actually knocking down pins.”
“You’re one to talk,” Oscar exclaims, “you still lost.”
“Yes, Master bowler Mr. Norris reigns supreme. But at least I managed to score points. I even got a strike! That’s more than you can say!”
“I am never hanging out with you two again. You are the worst.” Oscar huffs, crossing his arms over his chest and stares out the car window like a pouting child.
‘Good’ Lando thinks to himself. He would’ve said it out loud but after you had asked him what was wrong at the bowling alley he tried to be in a better mood. Granted, having Oscar come along wasn’t what he had in mind when he asked you to hang out with him, but he still had an alright time. Plus, he did get to hang out with you, which was better than sitting around doing nothing while you answered emails.
“I think I’m going to call it a night,” you told Lando once back in his driver's room.
Lando whipped his head around to see you packing up your laptop and other miscellaneous belongings scattered around the room. “What? But it's still early.”
“Yes, and I still have emails to answer remember?”
Lando groaned at the remembrance, “but I’m still-”
Lando stopped at the sight of your raised palm, “If you say you are still bored I am going to smack you, and besides I think you need to call it an early night because you were extremely crabby with me and Oscar earlier.”
“Crabby? I’m not a toddler who forgot his nap.”
“Are you sure? Because it was hard to see the difference earlier.”
“I just wanted to hang out with you.”
“And you did hang out with me, did you not?
“Yeah, but Oscar was there too. I just wanted the two of us to hang out.”
“Lando you see me every day, we ‘hang out’ all the time.”
“No, you’re working most of the time,” he corrects you.
“We get nearly every meal together, no? You send me TikToks, funny tweets, reels. You meet me after all your media duties, qualifyings, and after the races. We see plenty of each other.”
“Do you not like spending time with me?” Lando asks dejectedly.
“Did I say I didn’t like spending time with you?”
“No, but you also didn’t say you liked spending time with me.” Lando points out.
You roll your eyes and Lando watches as you walk closer to him. Lando feels the heat of your palms through his shirt where they lay on his shoulders. His brain nearly short circuits, while this isn’t the first time the two of you have touched one another, this one feels different.
“Lando I like spending time with you,” you shake his shoulders. “Maybe a little more than I should.” It’s quiet and Lando knows that he probably wasn’t meant to hear that. However, he feels relieved at the statement, knowing now that the feeling is mutual.
You smile again, “as I said earlier- I still have emails to answer and you should get some rest, you crabby toddler.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” he waves you off, “Goodnight, I’ll see you tomorrow yeah?”
“Of course, Goodnight Lando.”
Lando can’t help the grin that breaks out on his face, and it stays that way till he falls asleep.
Tumblr media
It's the next morning and you are tying your shoes on when there is a knock at your door.
“I’ll be right there, just give me a second,” you call out.
You make it to the door and when you open it you are greeted with Lando’s smile. However, your view is obstructed when Lando all but shoves a brown paper bag in your face.
“What is this?” you ask taking the bag, “it's not a dead animal is it?”
“Do you think I'm so sort of psychopath?”
“Do you really want me to answer that?”
“Just open the bag.”
Hesitantly, you unroll the top of the bag and peer inside. Thankfully, it's not a dead animal, instead in the bag lies half a dozen red spheres.
“You did not!” You exclaim, and you can’t help but break out into a grin. “Where did you get them?”
“I’ve never seen anyone get so excited over doughnut holes,” Lando laughs.
“They aren’t just any doughnut holes! You got me red velvet doughnut holes, my favorite.” You pull Lando into a hug. In which he wastes no time returning your embrace, savoring the way you fit perfectly in his arms.
“See I remember things, especially if they are about you.”
You pull away, mostly from the shock of what you just heard. You can feel your cheeks heat up, and quickly you clear your throat, “Thank you, Lando, I really appreciate it. Do you want one?”
“How can I refuse a pretty girl like you.”
Your jaw drops, and Lando looks nonetheless phased as he pops the ball of dough in his mouth.
“So on the agenda today is-” you begin, trying to calm the butterflies in your stomach, pulling your phone out to see what is actually on the agenda for the day.
“Nope,” Lando snatches your phone from your hands, “I’m kidnapping you for the day.”
You stare at him dumbfounded, “what?”
“You and me are officially off the clock for the entire day, no meetings, no phone calls, and no emails.”
“I mean that's kind of you, but why?”
“Why not,” he shrugs, “I thought you liked to hang out with me,” Lando wiggles his eyebrows.
Your palm meets your forehead, “I’m definitely getting a headache by the end of today,” you mutter.
“I hope that was a comment about how excited you are to hang out with your favorite McLaren driver.”
“Who said you were my favorite?”
“Ouch, I buy you doughnut holes and this is how you repay me?”
“How ever will the little Lando Norris survive?”
“Come on you loser, I have kidnapping duties to attend to.”
Who would’ve thought that skipping work with the person you work for could be so fun? Lando had all but dragged you from tourist attraction to tourist attraction, shop to shop. It almost feels like a date, he opens the door for you, offers to pay for your trinkets, all the things a boyfriend would do. You are quick to remind yourself that this is just a friendly outing, just two friends hanging out.
The topic of dinner was being thrown around, after eating junk all day the two of you needed some substance, “I was thinking sushi,” you tease.
“I know you're joking because you also hate fish,” he points out, “I was thinking more Italian, I know a place.” Lando grabs your hand and drags you in what you assume is the direction of the restaurant.
“Did you have fun today?” Lando asks as the two of you are seated in what feels like a set right out of a romance movie.
“I did, thank you.”
“I’m glad, I felt bad for my behavior yesterday. I felt like an ass.”
“Is this why kidnapped me?”
“No,” he quickly shakes his hands, “I did this because…” Lando trails off.
“You did this because?” You urge him to go on.
Instead of giving you an answer he scratches his chin and looks shyly at you. Your mind automatically goes to the worst-case scenario.
“You’re firing me, aren’t you,” you rip the band-aid off, no point in beating around the bush, “I should’ve known it. First, you get me my favorite treat, then you take me all around the city. Oh my God, I should’ve known.” You slump down in your chair and cover your face with your hands.
During your spiral you failed to notice how Lando’s eyes nearly bludge out of his head, he too is now panicking.
You feel Lando’s warm hands as he reaches across the table to grab your wrists, “Y/N, god no I’m not firing you,” you still refuse to look at him afraid that if you do you’ll burst out in tears. “Come on baby, show me those pretty eyes.”
That grabs your attention. Your head quickly shoots up, “what did you just say?”
“Um, that I’m obviously not firing you?”
“No, no, after that, you called me baby.”
“Yeah, it um slipped out.”
“Oh,” is all you can manage out.
Lando lets off a soft curse, “I was going to tell you after dinner, but the reason I was pissed off yesterday was because I wanted to take you out bowling, kind of as a date?”
“As a date?” You ask in disbelief.
“Yeah, but then you invited Oscar, and I tried to get him to say no but that little shit doesn’t know how to take a hint. Or more like he does and just wanted to see me suffer. He didn’t make it any better with those little comments,” Lando rambles on, “what I mean to say is that I kind of have liked you since you interrupted that meeting a couple months ago.”
You have never been at a loss for words like you are at this moment. “You,” you point to Lando, “like me,” then point to yourself.
Lando nods, “Why though? I mean why me?” you ask.
“Well at first I thought you were cute, you look so frazzled but yet you held your confidence. Then you smiled, and I wanted to be the one you smiled at so badly. I thought I would never have the chance to talk to you but then there you were, swearing at the lack of doughnut holes, and I couldn’t believe the universe had given me a second chance. Then you got a phone call and scurried away before I could ask for your number or anything like that. I was so mad at myself for the following weeks. I couldn't get your laugh, your smile, your snarkiness out of my head. Then you were outside my door saying you were my new assistant, and I almost turned you away.”
If you were lookin in a mirror the only way to describe how you looked right now would be similar to a deer in headlights
Lando continues, “then, these past few weeks, I’ve gotten to know you more and more and I couldn’t help falling more and more. So yesterday I was planning on confessing after bowling but then Oscar joined us and I was pissed off and I took out on the both of you.”
“Oh. This is a walking HR disaster,” you jokingly mutter.
“If you don’t feel the same I understand. And I won’t be upset if you don’t want to work with me anymore.” Lando quickly adds in.
“But I do feel the same. I’m just confused,” you admit.
“What are you confused about?”
“You’re a famous Formula 1 driver, you are so big in this world that McLaren probably wouldn’t be able to function if you left. I’m nobody in this world, if I left everyone would go on like it's a normal day.”
“You’re not nobody to me. I need you to function.”
You smile at his admission, and you close the distance between your hands on the table, “I would consider this an amazing first date.”
“Really?” Lando asks hopefully, “I kinda just complied a bunch of stuff together hoping you would like it.”
“I loved it,” you admit before a look of horror flashes over your face, “I didn’t say anything after your confession, did I?”
“You don’t have to,” Lando interrupts.
“But I want to, that morning when you gave me the last doughnut hole I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was just a small gesture that made my day. I thought I knew who Lando Norris was before then, an attractive Formula 1 driver who just so happened to drive for McLaren-”
“You think I’m attractive?” Lando giggles.
“Yes I do,” you sigh out, cheeks burning at the thought of saying the rest of your feelings out loud. “But you quickly became Lando, the person who asked about the little things, the person who got to know me. All the little quirks that make me, me. I was trying so hard to stay professional, not let your little touches, the way you would talk, or all the times you insisted on getting lunch with me, all those things get to me. I was surprised when you offered me your last doughnut hole but I am so thankful that you did.”
“I guess we should thank catering for never ordering enough doughnut holes for this?”
“We should, I guess that doughnut holes can be our thing.”
“Of course, they can be our thing.” Lando pauses, “Does this mean we’re dating now?”
“Take me on another date, an official one this time, and you got yourself a deal.”

Rose-Colored Glasses - [ Lee Felix ]
Tumblr media
🩷 SYNOPSIS : Falling in love with your best friend wasn't the greatest thing, especially when Felix was damn sure he wouldn't be able to survive without your presence if you walked out of his life. He kept his feelings hidden, tucked away to the farthest part of his mind so he could stay with you. But how long could he keep his emotions from the one person that knew him the most?
GENRE : fluff, best friends to lovers
PAIRING : lee felix × f!reader
CONTENT WARNING : fluff, slightly suggestive, swearing
WORD COUNT : 2.5K
AUTHOR'S NOTE : I totally didn't drive my head through a wall to finish this. Writers block really hit me while writing this one, but I did it! Maybe not the best but I hope you guys like it <3 (part of valentines collab with @stayconnecteed )
Tumblr media
Felix doesn't remember when the silly little crush on you started. After all, you were supposed to be his best friend. Your childlike innocence made him smile, it was like you saw the world through rose colored glasses. He doesn't remember when he started seeing you differently. Did he just wake up one day, a skip in his heart whenever he saw you doing literally anything? Or were these long suppressed feelings? Were they always there and he just chose to not acknowledge them for the sake of his friendship with you?
Felix damn well knew he wouldn't be able to live without you. He would rather lock up his feelings in a treasure chest and throw the key as far away as possible rather than face the fear of possibly losing you from his life. He needed you. For him, his bond with you ran much deeper than friendship. You anchored him to reality.
It happened very often, when he was supposed to be doing work and his mind drifted off and started replaying memories of you, over and over again like a broken cassette. That was when he realized something was wrong — friends weren't supposed to do that right? He thinks about the day he first met you. When you awkwardly stood in front of his apartment, shyly muttering that you heard that he was looking for a new roommate from his friend. He was skeptical at first — he didn't expect a completely random stranger to ask if he could share his house with them. But then again he never expected anything that came his way after that.
Maybe his feelings for you started when you dragged him to a bookstore. He watched you fawn over the shelves lined with all your favorite novels. He remembers laughing when you started piling books into your hand only to put them away a while later because you couldn't get them. You looked so upset but in the end, you were happy you got some that you liked. Those books were neatly shelved in your room, the crisp pages filled with annotations and colored post-it notes and highlighters. Felix once looked at a book laying on your desk when you asked him to bring your phone charger from your room. His curiosity got the best of him and he flipped to a page which was marked with a pink tab. Safe to say, he shut the book close with a red face and picked up your phone charger and left the room. Never was he going to ask why you were giggling over a book again.
“Felix!” Seungmin's angry voice snapped over the headset he was wearing. The bright red Game Over flashed across his computer screen, making Felix groan. “Felix! Are you even there? Are you getting hea —”
“God, no! Just shut up Seungmin!” His face flamed red, his freckles disappearing underneath the intense blush that took over his face from what his friend suggested. Even though he was wearing headphones, he was scared you heard what utter nonsense Seungmin was spouting — was it considered nonsense if Felix didn't actually mind it? — from your room where you were probably reading or making boards on Pinterest. And it was like you heard his thoughts when the doorknob twisted and the door swung open, concern all over your face that vanished the second your eyes drifted to the screen. A smile played across your tinted lips, trying to hold back your amusement so he wouldn't feel worse. “Don't tell me you heard that…”
“Your cry of defeat? Yeah, I'm pretty sure our neighbor heard you too.” You finally let out a chuckle, leaning against the doorway. Felix wished you hadn't, but during the course of your friendship, you've learnt that he was… not the most exceptional gamer at times. Even if you tried to play it off whenever his friends were over, Seungmin was always more than happy to remind you. “You should save up your yelling for tomorrow anyways.” Tomorrow? His mind hit blank. He tried to think of any possible occasion that was going to happen the next day which would require his voice. Nothing came to him so he sat there, dumbfounded as you giggled again at his clueless expression. “We're going to the amusement park… with your friends?”
His brain clicked a minute too late, his face lighting up as his mouth formed an ‘o’ shape. He snapped his finger. “You're right.” Their amusement park plan was all Seungmin could talk about whenever they met up in person. Felix himself was also excited but nervous at the same time because him and roller-coasters never got along. The last time he went, he passed out on one — much to the amusement of his other friend Chan. He enjoyed going there, but he definitely did not enjoy the high rides.
How was he going to live down the embarrassment of screaming like a kid in front of you?
Felix got his answer the next day when their group of four set foot in the theme park, the sounds of happy screams (and fearful ones) and lively music blasting in all directions along with the smell of authentic carnival food filled his nose. The entire one hour car ride, his wonderful best friend — not you — had been going over the itinerary for the day. No one was paying much attention except you. Chan was busy driving and Felix was trying to keep himself from blushing because you were sitting next to him. He was a naturally affectionate person, so he never minded spontaneous hugs or lingering touches. But with you recently, he was starting to feel particularly antsy if you held his hand to drag him to the store next door, or if you hugged him out of nowhere. He couldn't help his face from breaking out into a huge grin, letting his nose breathe in the sweet smell of your shampoo mixed in with his cologne.
Living together with your crush who's also your closest friend could be a nightmare to some, including Felix. While he loved spending time with you, he couldn't help but let his emotions control his actions. It was a risky gamble, what would happen if you found out and you hated him? He couldn't handle that. It was better for him to try and keep his thoughts at bay and continue his relationship with you as it is. The past two years of his life were probably the best two years. He doesn't understand how he made it through life without you right there, right next to him.
The sound of your laughter made him turn towards you. The sun was reflecting off your heart-shaped, tinted sunglasses but your smile was far brighter to him. Chan was handing you a big swirl of cotton candy that the stall owner let him make. It looked deformed, but you were over the moon as you took it into your hands. You were dressed in denim shorts with sparkly gems stuck in a design he couldn't make out paired with a white shirt that he got you for Christmas which read Too Sexy for This Shirt. It was a gag gift, he'd actually gotten you a purse you'd been fawning over, but you seemed to like the shirt more. Christmas morning — the very first Christmas Felix spent with you since you both went home for the holidays the year prior — you laughed so hard your face turned red and you were clutching your stomach. It was nice seeing you smile, especially after you went through a pretty nasty breakup a week before.
He saw red when you told him that the guy you were dating called it quits because you were too much for him. How could someone ever be too much? Especially when that someone was you. You were… amazing. Another realization he had then — he was slowly falling in love with you. Felix knew he would never ever do anything to cause you so much pain because seeing you in pain caused him pain. It physically hurt him to see you shed a tear over some useless man that didn't understand he lost the best thing he had.
The day flew by quickly. Felix was sure they'd been on every single ride in the entire park twice. He was also sure he would have a sore throat the next day from all the screaming. The roller-coasters were actually more fun than he remembered. Sure, he might've felt like the car would come loose and fly off the track when they were at the highest point, waiting to plummet down. But he enjoyed it a lot. The adrenaline brought him out of his constant zoning out. Maybe his heart leaped out of his chest when you held his hand when the four of you were on the drop tower, you eyes shut close as the surroundings zipped closer in a flash before it came to a halt. But he liked the thrill.
“I think I left my stomach up there somewhere.” Chan laughed, knees wobbling as they got off of the ride.
“You were the one who wanted to go!” Felix exclaimed, too tired to protest further and nearly collapsed onto the nearest park bench they found.
“It was fun though.” You said, resting your elbows on the table to prop your face up. The evening sky created a different kind of glow around you. Felix was enamored by the way the colorful fairy lights danced in your eyes. “What?” You asked once you caught him staring at you for a minute too long.
“Nothing.” He shook his head, a shy smile automatically forming on his face.
Seungmin placed fresh water bottles on the table. “Rest up. This is the best time to go on the ferris wheel.”
Felix liked going on ferris wheels. Although they were way up high, it didn't feel like his heart would jump out of his throat any second. What he didn't like was Seungmin shoving him and you into a car which closed behind him with a loud click. He stumbled as the car jolted forward. He sent a glare towards his friend but it was of no use. He was stuck. In a ferris wheel. With you. It wasn't technically a bad thing except you were sitting face to face as you rose higher and higher above the ground. His blond hair was flying in his face, but it was nice.
“It's so beautiful up here.” You murmured. He hummed in agreement, but he wasn't looking at the lights on the ground or the setting sun that cast the world in a hue of orange and pink. He was looking at you. You met his eyes, a blush taking over your face. “You're looking at me.”
Perhaps it was all the adrenaline that was coursing through him or maybe he had one too many sodas to keep his energy levels up, but something in him made him say, “Obviously. You are really beautiful.” He was elated to see that your blush only darkened, almost the same color as the glasses sitting on top of your head.
“Where's all this coming from?” You asked, brushing your hair out of your face.
His throat dried up. The car stopped, making him lean even closer to you as he stumbled out of balance. A blush that could rival yours creeped up onto his face. “It's always been there…” The carnival music and the crowd noises died down. All he could hear was his own heartbeat, thumping in his chest. The words he wanted to tell you were on the tip of his tongue, threatening to spill out.
“What is it Felix?” You asked in a soft tone, a reassuring smile accompanying it to let him know that it was okay to speak his mind. “You can tell me anything.”
“I…” His voice caught in his throat. He looked out into the horizon before his gaze settled back onto you. “I like you, Y/n.”
“I like you too Felix —”
“More than a friend.” He added. His breath caught in his throat when he saw your eyes widening in shock, your mouth slightly agape. “I like you a lot.” He said again. Now that he blurted out the words, he was on a roll. “The world seems so much brighter with you around, Y/n, I can't explain it but… you're my rose-colored glasses. When I'm with you, everything seems better.”
There was a long moment of silence. He felt like he ruined his entire life. So many thoughts were running through his head, of how he would deny it or play it off — anything to make everything go back to normal. But you hit pause on all his thoughts when you captured his lips in the sweetest kiss imaginable. He was frozen for a second before his eyes fluttered close and he melted into the kiss. His heart was tap dancing in his rib cage but he could care less. All that was important in this moment was you. And your soft lips on his. When you pulled away, the world seemed more vivid than it was before. You both broke into quiet giggles.
“I guess that means you like me too?” He asked with a raised brow even though he knew the answer.
“That's why I kissed you.”
“I don't know…” He teased, making both of you laugh again. “Maybe I just need more convincing?”
“Is that so?” You chuckled before leaning in to kiss him again. Felix smiled into the kiss and pulled you close. He was going to have to thank Seungmin later for pushing him into the car with you.

STRESS FILLED NIGHTS
Simon "Ghost" Riley x Fem-Reader
Tumblr media
TW: Anxiety/ paranoid, Stress cleaning, biting nails.
Summary: You were used to Simon's night terrors and anxiety, but what happens when your the one struggling without even knowing?
A/n: I wrote this, because I'm having a really hard time sleeping so this is a self comfort thing for me. I'm tired man. Also Ghost is OOC . And this is unedited or whatever.
Tick...Tick...Tick...
You starred up at the ceiling, the clock on the wall continuing to tick on the wall. You peer over to your left, picking up your phone from the nightstand. At this point taking off the charger as it's full battery at this point. The light illuminating from the phone slightly blinding you as you check the time.
2:13 am
Sighing, you put your phone aside, it's been hours already and your still not asleep yet. Your husband by now is peacefully asleep, but your still awake. You turn to your side, facing the now sleeping Ghost. He looked so...peaceful you just stared at him slowly breathing, looking pretty in the blue mood light on him. Something only you and you alone can see, no one else can. Your hand gently reaches out as gently push and piece of hair aside, smiling at how cute he is.
Eventually you layed back on your back, staring at the ceiling once again. After 20 minutes of looking at the ceilings texture to see if you can see any images from it for fun. Or messing around with your hand in the blue light you eventually got sick of it.
Quietly sitting up from the bed, making sure to not make any sounds to wake your husband up. You put your house slippers on and left the room. Once in the hallway, you let out a relaxed breath. Since your awake, might as well make yourself useful.
" Think y/n, what can I do currently?..." You thought as you take a left turn reaching the living room. You flick the lights on " Oh, I can tidy up the house abit, as long I don't vacuum or do anything loud, it should be fine." At this point you were getting shaky because you were exhausted. But you ignored it as you started to sweep the floor, humming to yourself quietly.
You swept.
You wiped the tables and counters clean.
You moped the tile floor.
You clean the dust off souvenirs and photo frames and more.
You left the kitchen spotless.
You even clean your fucking gun.
After all of that, you just sat on the couch silently with out a word. You were biting your nails, trying to figure out what else to do before being alerted to Simon's panicked voice.
"Y/n?! Y/n where are you? Y/-"
He immediately rushed over to the living room panicked. He soon relaxed once he saw you just sitting on the couch.
"Y/n, it's 6am...what the hell are you doing this early?"
"Cleaning."
"Cleaning?" He gave you an almost dumbfounded look. " You know what time it is, right now?"
"6:25 am."
"How long have you been cleaning love?"
You were starting to avoid his eye contact, biting you nail more. "I-i..I don't know."
Ghost just stood there sighing, "why didn't you ask for my help?" He says, almost hurt. " Your going to get a migraine. "
"I know...I don't know...I just.." you starred down at your carpet rug. " I was scared, I couldn't sleep. And I thought it was better if I'm awake that I should make myself useful..."
Ghost, walks over to you, kneeling in front of you, his calloused hands gently forcing you to look at him. " Y/n, y/n look at me. Your hurting yourself doing this. "
"I don't understand." You said truthfully, your hand gently laying on top of his.
"love, your exhausted, your literally shaking right now....Listen, I may not be good at the whole comfort thing compared to you. But since you watch over me during my night terrors it's only fair I do the same with you."
"But...I don't have nightmares like you do though, I'm just...a little scared to go to sleep."
"Even so, you still need sleep."
You thought about it, and slowly nod. You then gently leaned into his arms and laid your head on his shoulder.
Ghost then stood up, and wrapped his arms around your waist and picked you up. Carrying you back to bed, flicking the lights off.
He walks into your shared bedroom, closing the door behind him. Getting in bed with you, now that he can see your face closely, your eyes were bloodshot and exhausted.
You quietly spoked to him, as he now gently moves a strain of your hair aside. " Did I really scare you? I'm sorry if I did..." You yawn softly, " I thought...me leaving would protect you...or something."
"Protect me? Ha. But you did startle me. "
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. You didn't intend to. I was just... surprised to not see you beside me. "
"hmm." Your eyes fluttered abit. Less talkative.
Ghost noticed, that him quietly talking to you was finally making you relax.
" I would appreciate if next time this happens, you tell me. Alright?"
You nodded.
Ghost continue to talk to you, sometimes telling you his awful jokes. And once you finally stop responding to him. He looked over to see you finally asleep. Haft your face hidden away in the pillow, taking soft slow breaths.
He pulled the blanket over his shoulders, gently pulling you close to him , wrapping his arms around you protectively falling suit and falling asleep with you.
Both of you peacefully asleep.

kinktober day 3: car sex
Tumblr media
pairing: kim jennie x female reader
word-count: 5.2k
genre: romance, fluffy smut
warnings: swearing, oral sex (f receiving), fingering, the inherent awkward manoeuvring of car sex, some real fuzzy emotions
Tumblr media
summary:
Settling herself down into the space next to you, she draped the blanket over the two of you, shifting closer ever so slightly when it proved not quite big enough to cover you both easily.
…You know, if you’d had to guess where this night would take you, snuggling up with Kim Jennie under a blanket wouldn’t exactly be your first thought.
Tumblr media
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
Those were Jennie’s first words when she got into your car, her expression cold as she tried to manoeuvre her dress skirts inside so that she could close the car door without trapping them.
Amazingly, despite the rain beginning to pour down outside, she looked incredibly put-together. You’d only really met her a few times – maybe enough to count on two hands – but she always seemed so chic and well-dressed. Designer clothes, perfect hair, and just that…like, aura of elegance.
You didn’t know Jennie particularly well, but when you got the call just after midnight from Rosé that Jennie needed a lift home and the situation was, quote, “really not good”, you didn’t hesitate to make the hour-long journey to her.
You had expected her to be at some kind of house party, or some kind of typical date location – like a restaurant, or something. Not a black-tie gala hosted at a hotel so grand and towering that it made your eyes water just to look at it.
Still, you knew Jennie ran in slightly different circles from you and Rosé. Maybe this was a typical Friday night for her.
You didn’t hesitate to start driving, pulling out of the hotel courtyard with as much speed as you could get away with – but you couldn’t deny the vague flicker of unease in your gut.
“Bad night?” You asked, keeping your eyes on the road.
Jennie didn’t reply.
You continued, trying to keep your voice light. “Like, ‘the food was gross and my foot got stepped on’ bad, or…you know, ‘police report’ bad?”
Jennie sighed, folding her arms over her chest. “Just…people being assholes. No laws broken, I just…didn’t want to be there anymore.”
Slightly reassured, you let the subject drop and continued to drive on in silence.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Jennie rummage through her clutch purse, draw out her phone – and promptly sigh. “Do you have a phone charger port in here?”
Phone charger port? Your car still had a tape deck. Phone charger ports were a little beyond your budget.
“No, sorry,” you said, glancing over at her. “Do you need one?”
As soon as the words left your mouth, you realised how dumb they were – a realisation only compounded by Jennie’s slow blink at you as she held her dead phone.
“…That was a stupid question,” you mumbled, turning back to the road.
Jennie had the grace not to respond verbally, but her facial expression was enough.
You made the resolution there and then that, for your own pride, it was probably best to keep your mouth shut in front of the pretty girl for the rest of the journey.
Tumblr media
That resolution lasted all of twenty-five minutes, ending dramatically when you found yourself stuck on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere and your back wheels stuck over half a foot deep in mud.
You stood there, outside, staring at the wheels in disbelief as rain just bucketed down from the heavens and drenched you. You barely felt it, a little numb with shock and the pervasive thought of just…what the fuck?
You’d tried everything, but there was no way you were getting out of this without a tow.
Reluctantly, you looked back towards the front of the car – where you could just about see the silhouette of Jennie in the passenger seat, her body turned and leaning over the seat to look back at you.
Shit. This was not your night.
Well, to be fair, it was definitely not her night either.
Putting on a brave face, you squared your shoulders and headed back to the driver’s side, pulling open the car door and wincing slightly as your soaked clothes made contact with the fabric seat.
“Uh, so the car is like stuck in that mud,” you explained, trying your best to keep your voice light. You grabbed your phone from where it had been resting in your cupholder, giving you something to look at that wasn’t Jennie’s face. “We’re going to need a tow truck, I think, so let me just…”
With such a – and you say this lovingly – heap of junk for a car, you had the good sense to save the number of a roadside assistance company in your contacts.
That good sense was wasted, however, when you tried to dial the number and were immediately met with a ‘call failed’ message.
No service.
Of course.
“OK,” you said, lifting your phone up as high as it could go and trying to call again, just in case – but to no avail. “There’s no signal here. I can try walking around when the rain stops to find some, and–”
“We’re in the middle of nowhere,” Jennie pointed out. “There’s not going to be signal for, like, miles around. And…”
She trailed off, attention turning towards the window. Without your car’s headlights, you knew it would be completely pitch-black outside. You briefly imagined trying to stumble around in the middle of the night, the ground still slick with rainwater and mud, and your stomach immediately knotted with dread.
Jennie sighed. “Wait until morning, at least.”
Morning?
Morning was still several hours away, which was a very long time to be stuck in a car with someone you barely knew.
To make matters worse, you were starting to shiver. Your wet clothes were clinging to your skin, growing colder and colder with every passing minute. There was a spare change of workout clothes in the gym bag on your backseat, but there was a very obvious problem with changing clothes right now.
“You look freezing,” Jennie noted, eyebrows raised as you tried not to visibly shudder from the cold in front of her. “Is there, like, anything in this car that you can use to dry off?”
“I mean, I’ve got…I’ve got some other clothes,” you admitted, jabbing a thumb towards the bag behind you.
“Maybe you should put those on, before you get pneumonia.”
“I mean, I can, but are you OK with…I mean, I should probably make sure that you’re–”
Jennie rolled her eyes. “I’m fine. Believe it or not, I’m capable of turning around while you’re getting changed.”
You wanted so badly to defend your reluctance, to press your argument further, but you managed to bite your tongue. You awkwardly clambered over the centre console and through the gap between the front seats towards the back, thankfully managing to avoid contact with Jennie as you did so.
With one last glance towards Jennie, just to make sure she was fine with this and facing the other way, you began to peel off your wet t-shirt.
Aware that undressing in complete silence – especially when that undressing involved a long, protracted struggle with wet clothing – would be horrifically awkward, you cleared your throat and tried to make conversation. “So, what’s up with the big fancy party in the middle of nowhere?”
“It was this fundraiser thing. Work-related,” Jennie explained. “One of our biggest donors owns that hotel, and they offered to host. What about you?”
You paused, one arm out of your shirt, confused. “What about me?”
“What were you doing around here, if you were close enough to give me a ride back to the city?”
“Uh…” you trailed off, unsure of what to say. “I wasn’t?”
“What? You were at home?” Jennie asked, her tone incredulous.
“Yeah?”
She paused, seemingly at a loss for words. “That’s…wait, how far is that? An hour away?”
You didn’t know how to answer that. What should you have done? Downplay it?
You watched Jennie tilt her head, and when she spoke again, her voice was a little softer. “…Rosé said you were nice.”
Your face warmed, unused to compliments. You stalled for a second by taking off your shirt entirely, tossing it onto the driver’s seat. Reaching for the dry t-shirt in your gym bag, you managed to reply with a shrug. “Yeah, I like to think I am, I guess.”
“Maybe too nice,” Jennie pointed out. It wasn’t accusatory, not at all, but it was almost like a warning. Like a piece of advice.
You thought this over, putting on the t-shirt. “…Nah. I’m the perfect amount of nice. Everyone else should step up and get on my level.”
To your surprise, Jennie laughed. Kind of. Her version of a laugh was apparently a soft exhale through her nose, but you caught the way her cheekbones lifted for the briefest of smiles.
You cringed at the feeling of peeling off your wet jeans, throwing them away to join your shirt on the driver’s seat, and pulled on the thick, comfy pair of sweatpants instead. They were a little worn, maybe, but so soft. After suffering in those soaked clothes, they felt like heaven.
Now that you had solved the wet clothes issue, you took a moment to assess the situation the two of you had found yourselves in.
Staying the night in a car was not exactly ideal. The biggest concern was security, but in this regard, you were somewhat reassured. Your car might have been ancient, but it was big and sturdy, with strong thick windows you could barely see out of, let alone into. Nothing was getting in.
The next biggest concern, and one in which the solution was less obvious, was how the fuck you were going to stay warm. You couldn’t keep your engine running forever, which meant eventually, the heaters were going to have to turn off.
You might have been fine with your new clothes, but Jennie’s dress wasn’t exactly built for cold weather. You looked it over for a moment, how bare it left her arms, her shoulders, her delicate collarbones. She’d probably get so cold, even if she did look…
An idea suddenly came to you, and after a second of rummaging around in the dimness of the overhead light, you found what you were looking for, folded up and hidden away in one of the footwells. “Hey, Jennie?”
She turned around, eyes dropping for a second to note your new clothes, before bringing them back up to your face. “Yeah?”
“You want a blanket?” You asked, grabbing the item in question and extending it to her.
Her gaze shifted towards the blanket, brow furrowing. “You have a blanket in your car?”
“Yeah, it’s from…” you paused, debating whether it was worth telling the whole story, and decided you might as well. “I went on this star-gazing date thing with this girl who was super into astronomy a few weeks ago. The date kinda fizzled out, but the views were nice and the blanket was warm. I just forgot to take it out of my car.”
“Oh,” Jennie murmured, pausing for a second. Then, she reached for the blanket, taking it and drawing it over her shoulders. It was big enough that she could bundle herself within it, and you couldn’t help but smile as she took a moment to do just that, her hands pulling it tight around her.
It was…honestly, kind of cute, which was something you definitely didn’t expect to come from someone as cool and sophisticated as Jennie.
“It should be nice and warm,” you said, brightly. “It’s super thick.”
“Yeah, it’s fluffy,” Jennie murmured, almost to herself.
“I just figured you’d need it. I’m going to turn the engine off soon, so it’s going to be freezing in here.”
Jennie looked over at you. “Wait, do you have a blanket too?”
“I’ll be fine,” you said, with a shrug.
Jennie made a face. “Again, like I said, you’re too nice. This is your car, and your blanket, and you’re going to spend the whole night freezing here without it. Stop inconveniencing yourself just for others.”
You frowned. “It’s not an inconvenience, you just need it more than I do.”
“Your hair’s still wet.”
“You’re wearing spaghetti straps.”
“Fine, we’ll just share the blanket then,” Jennie declared with a huff, like it was no big deal. Before you could even react, she was already tossing the blanket onto the backseat. “Do you want me to turn the engine off now? It’s already been running for ages.”
You blinked, still thrown by this sudden news of blanket-sharing. “Uh…yeah, I guess?”
You watched her lean over and turn off the ignition, retrieving your keys easily. The car engine, once a comforting steady hum of background noise, fell silent, as did your heaters.
Now, there was a strange air of quiet as Jennie made her way through the gap to join you on the backseat – and how the hell did she manage to make the journey over the centre console look that smooth?
Settling herself down into the space next to you, she draped the blanket over the two of you, shifting closer ever so slightly when it proved not quite big enough to cover you both easily.
…You know, if you’d had to guess where this night would take you, snuggling up with Kim Jennie under a blanket wouldn’t exactly be your first thought.
You weren’t quite touching, but you could feel her warmth, the unmistakable sign of just how close she was, just almost within reach.
You cleared your throat, trying to collect your thoughts before they wandered into more dangerous territory. “So, I don’t think I’ve ever heard how you and Rosé became friends?”
The corner of Jennie’s lip turned upwards into a half-smile. She reached up to her artfully arranged hairdo, began to carefully remove the hairpins holding it together, and talked as she did so. “We went to high school together. I only joined halfway through the year, and my English still kind of sucked. She…took me under her wing, I guess.”
“That’s really sweet.”
“Yeah. She’s always been great with things like that. With people,” Jennie said, before looking down at the blanket, and she shrugged one shoulder. “And I’ve just always been the bitch.”
You jerked upwards a little, affronted on her behalf. “I’ve never thought you were a bitch, Jennie.”
She removed another hairpin, and made a thoroughly unconvinced noise. “Pfft.”
“I haven’t!”
“Yeah, well…” she paused, eyeing you for a moment. “There’s not exactly many of you.”
“Well, screw what everyone else thinks,” you said, unable to stop yourself from raising your voice just a little. “They didn’t see you at Pride.”
“Pride?”
“Yeah,” you said. You remembered it clearly, even now, two years later. It was Rosé’s first time going to Pride after coming out, and she was so nervous. And then Jennie had turned up, sunglasses on and stone-faced - with a little Etsy-sourced handmade ally flag pin on the lapel of her Chanel jacket, and waving a pocket-sized rainbow flag in solidarity. “That’s always what I think about when I think of you. How good of a friend you were to Rosé that day.”
Jennie blinked at you, her face completely slack with surprise. You felt your stomach drop just a little, and you couldn’t tell if you’d said something wrong, or if maybe you’d said something perfectly right.
After a long moment, Jennie turned away, frowning. “…You really are too nice.”
You sighed, leaning back against the seat. On a whim, you shuffle just the tiniest bit closer, just so you can properly envelop yourself within this blanket. “I’m really not. I shouldn’t be, anyway.”
Jennie didn’t reply to that. Instead, she looked up at the roof of the car, and you pretended that you didn’t notice the brief second she bit her lip in thought. “So, I’ve never really asked, but…are you and Rosé a thing?”
You were caught off-guard by this question, but not by much. This wasn’t the first time you’d been asked something along these lines, and you were sure it wouldn’t be the last. “Nope. Just friends.”
“OK. And are you going to stay just friends?”
“Yeah, that’s the plan,” you remarked.
“It’s just…I figured that since you both like girls, and you’re really close…”
Jenny might have trailed off, but you could catch the gist of the sentence pretty easily – and you were determined to give a definitive answer to such an open-ended question. “
“No. She’s great, I love her but…you know, you don’t have to be into someone to love them. It’s like your dude friends, right? They like girls but that doesn’t mean they want to bang?”
Jennie’s expression faltered, and for a brief moment, you caught a flicker of emotion in her eye. “I wish.”
Those words were edged with something, and you realised you might have stumbled onto something a little too personal.
“Have you ever had a girlfriend?” Jennie asked, and you were so startled by the sudden question that for a moment, you forgot all about that fairly obvious change in subject.
“…Yeah. Not many,” you admitted, but you weren’t particularly filled with guilt or shame or anything like that. Just a vague sense of embarrassment for your younger self, but that was pretty standard. “I’m always busy with school and stuff.”
With what was apparently the final hairpin removed, Jennie made quick work of the hair tie keeping her hair in such a perfect bun. Her hair – long, black, smooth, shiny – fell around her face, framing her perfectly. “What’s it like?”
“Um. Nice? I haven’t really dated-dated dudes, but I found that girls usually understood me a little more. The ones I’ve dated anyway. They could pick up all my little emotional tells. Intense, maybe. You can get very attached very quickly.”
“Hmm.”
“Why do you ask?”
“No reason,” Jennie said. She opened her mouth like she was going to say more, closed it quickly, but there was a lingering thoughtfulness in her eyes. Like she was thinking very hard about something.
“What is it?”
“…I think…uh, well, it’s something I’ve…” Jennie sighed, frustrated at her uncharacteristic stumble with words, and tried to simplify it. “Girls are pretty.”
“They are.”
“And…some of them are more than that.”
“Yeah, quite a few.”
“Some of them are…” Jennie trailed off, looking at you. “You know, some are…”
You waited for her to finish her sentence.
She didn’t.
Instead, she leaned forward suddenly, and kissed you square on the mouth.
You barely had time to think, frozen, and she withdrew almost immediately.
“Oh, God,” she lamented, burying her face in her hands. “I’m so sorry.”
You couldn’t even respond, wordless from shock.
Jennie kissed you?
Jennie kissed you.
Jennie – like, Jennie – kissed you.
…Huh.
“You don’t have to apologise,” you said, words slowly coming back to you. “It’s fine.”
She made a face – or, you thought she did, it was hard to tell through her hands – and muttered back. “No, I…I didn’t even ask, at the very fucking least, let alone…ugh.”
She sharply turned away, curling in on herself. Even from this angle, with her back to you, you could tell she was hoping for the ground would swallow her whole.
And still, from the glimpse of her cheek in profile, you thought you could see a blush.
You swallowed, looking down at your hands, trying to seem cool and composed as you shrugged. “You can ask now, if you want.”
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Jennie still. She turned, slowly, fixing you with the wariest of looks. “…What?”
You glanced over to her, trying your best to stay calm despite the way your heart was starting to pound, and repeated. “You can ask now if you want.”
Jennie stared at you for a moment, silent.
And then…
“Can I…” she paused, the pink of her cheeks darkening even more, but she managed to stay strong. “Can I kiss you?”
You swallowed. “Yeah. Yes. Yes, you can.”
She leaned forward – and paused, just for a moment. The briefest moment in which to double-check one’s actions, to decide just what exactly one should do, and to change course if needed. Jennie paused for all that time, and still chose to follow through and kiss you again.
This time, you were ready. You met her halfway, one hand lifting up to cradle Jennie’s face. The kiss was sweet, tender, and when you pulled away to breathe, she chased after you tenaciously to reconnect.
Her lips were soft, full, and you couldn’t help but want to run your tongue along the bottom lip, just a little.
Not yet. Let her adjust, let her get used to….
You felt her hand find your waist under the blanket, and you shivered at the feeling of her fingertips just brushing the sensitive skin below the waistband of your sweatpants.
Taking that as an encouragement to start exploring, you let your hand wander from her cheek to her jaw, to the softness of her hair. You let the little strands wind around your fingers, combing through it, and you murmured against her lips. “Fuck, you’re so pretty, Jennie.”
Jennie didn’t respond in words, but instead by pressing her lips to the soft skin under your jaw. You closed your eyes, letting your head fall back against the seat, and your breath left you shakily.
Her other hand found your thigh, pressing down slightly as she used it to support her own weight, to move even closer.
You were sat there, back pressed against the seat, legs parted, Jennie’s mouth on your neck, wishing for her to take notice and climb onto your lap, maybe slide that hand upwards underneath your shirt, maybe–
And then it hit you.
You stilled, muscles tensing, and you tried to pull away. “Jennie…”
She made the softest whine, protesting, and you had to very purposefully grip her by the shoulder and gently but firmly push her away before she realised just how serious you were being.
“Jennie,” you breathed, voice still uneven. You tried to stay firm, even in the face of her newly mussed hair, in the pink of her cheeks and the parting of her lips as she drew much-needed breath. “Jennie, you’re…you were upset tonight. I don’t want to–”
“No, I wasn’t,” Jennie argued, her gaze dropping to your lips.
You swallowed. “You were. Maybe this isn’t the best idea right now.”
“Why not?”
“I don’t…I don’t want to take advantage, if you’re feeling–”
“You’re not.”
“Jenn–”
“You’re not,” she repeated, insistent, and there was an unmistakable edge to her tone. Frustration, maybe? Anger? “Because I’m not upset, I…”
She paused, sighing bitterly, glancing upwards as she debated something.
“…Look, you want to know what happened tonight?” Jennie said, finally, jaw set with a determination to prove you wrong. “One of my guy friends asked me out. I turned him down, the fucking nicest way I could, and he still made a huge scene over it. My ex was there, they got into a whole thing, and I didn’t want to be there anymore to witness their dick-measuring contest. That’s it.”
She took a deep breath, as you tried to absorb her words, tried to wrap your head around this information, and continued with a new vulnerability in her voice.
“It didn’t upset me. It…it embarrassed me, sure. It fucking pissed me off, definitely. But it didn’t upset me. You’re not taking advantage just because I was in a bad mood. Was, because then we started talking, and…”
She glanced away, not quite brave enough to finish that sentence, but you could fill in the gaps yourself. Something – some warm feeling – bloomed in your chest.
“So, if you don’t want to, that’s fine,” Jennie finished, squaring her shoulders, keeping her head held high as she stared you down directly. “But don’t pin it on me. I know what I want.”
You held her gaze for a moment, saying nothing.
And then, silently, you rested your hand on the curve of her hip, and watched the way her chest swelled with a surprised intake of breath.
“And what do you want?” You asked, voice very purposefully light, even as your thumb began to trace circles into the thin fabric of her dress.
Exhaling, slowly, Jennie let herself relax into your touch. “…More of that.”
“Yeah? What else?”
“You to kiss me,” Jennie said, bold, defiant.
You smiled, blinking innocently. “Kiss you where?”
The memory of her reaction – the way her face flushed, the way she almost choked on her own breath, the swallow that made her throat bob – would burn itself into your mind, never to be forgotten.
This time, it was you who initiated the kiss. You let your tongue run over her bottom lip, just as you’d wanted, before turning your attention elsewhere – the pink of her cheeks, the long column of her neck, the collarbone you’d been trying your best not to stare at the moment she got into your car.
You looped an arm around her waist and gently, carefully, pulled her onto your lap – not quite all the way, just enough for your thigh to slot itself comfortably between her legs.
“This is such a nice dress, Jennie,” you noted, running one hand up her side, from hip to waist to just brushing the side of her chest before coming up to her shoulder. Carefully, you hooked your index finger under the thin strap of her dress, letting it fall just off the shoulder.
You pressed a kiss to where it had once been, then a little lower. Then, a little lower again. And again. Slowly, carefully, giving her plenty of time to stop you if she wanted. She didn’t, and when your mouth finally found its way to her breast, she let out the quietest little sigh.
It was becoming very obvious that Jennie wasn’t wearing a bra. You’d thought maybe she could have been wearing a strapless one, but no, it was becoming increasingly clear through the thin material that she absolutely was not. When your lips closed around her nipple through the fabric, Jennie’s hand found itself curling around the back of your head, and she let herself…press against your thigh.
That could be fun, you thought idly, getting distracted by Jennie’s first whimper when you let your teeth scrape against her. It could be fun to let Jennie ride your thigh.
Except there was something in you that wanted something a little more…hands-on. Maybe, just maybe, deep down, you’d admit that you wanted to show off a little.
So, you pulled away from her breast to press your lips to hers once more, bringing your left hand up to cradle her jaw.
And with your right, you let it slide under her tangle of dress skirts, and gently rested it on her bare knee.
“Is this OK?” You asked, pressing a little peck to the corner of her mouth.
“Only if it doesn’t stay there,” Jennie mumbled, tilting your head with her own hands to resume kissing.
Just as she wished, you very slowly slid your hand up her leg, along the soft and sensitive skin of her inner thigh. Jennie rolled her hips against your thigh, just once, impatient, but you didn’t rush yourself. This was half the fun, letting the anticipation build.
A fucking rush of satisfaction filled you when you felt just how wet Jennie had gotten for you. What an ego-boost it was, to run your fingers over where she and your thigh connected, to feel the damp lace against your fingertips, to hear Jennie breathily accuse you of teasing.
With another kiss, this time open-mouthed and against her neck, you pushed her underwear to one side and found her clit with the pad of your thumb. You rubbed circles into it, slowly, just to test what she might like.
Jennie moaned, loudly, her head falling forward. Her mouth was so close to your ear, allowing you to hear every single little catch in her breathing, every choked noise, everything, as you began to learn her body. She was sensitive, she liked it slow, and she especially liked when you murmured her name. You learned how to tell when she wanted something, when something was too much, how the muscles of her thighs tensed and clamped down at just the right balance of almost ‘too much’.
Your free hand drifted to the curve of her ass, squeezing slightly as you gently lifted her up – giving you just enough space to slip your middle finger inside of her.
“Fuck, Jennie,” you breathed, as she groaned and rocked backwards onto your hand. Before long, you could add your ring finger – and with the smallest repositioning of your hand, you made sure that with every motion, your thumb would drag across her most sensitive spot, and you felt the breath that punched its way out of her chest when she first discovered this.
You could make her come like this. And what’s more, you realised, you could make her come like this easily.
But there was something else that tempted you, an image that refused to leave your mind.
Why not leave it up to Jennie?
“You want me to keep doing this?” You asked, breathless, pausing to kiss the underside of her jaw. “Or do you want my mouth? It’s up to you, baby.”
The endearment slipped its way out of your mouth before you could stop it, but Jennie didn’t seem to mind. You watched her struggle with the decision, eyes dark and dazed with lust, biting her lip.
“Are you…” Jennie began, before pausing to let out another choked moan, eyes squeezing shut for a second, “…good?”
There was no way to answer that question without sounding like you were bragging, so you settled for a semi-sheepish grin. “Haven’t had any complaints.”
Jennie exhaled shakily, and nodded. “OK. Mouth, then.”
Carefully, you moved Jennie off of your lap, laying her down on her back across the backseat. You couldn’t deny that your new position, kneeling between her legs, one of your feet jammed in one footwell, the other leg awkwardly pressed against the edge of the seat, was cramped – but it was so, so worth the noises that forced their way out of Jennie’s mouth when your tongue brushed against her clit.
Fuck, it was so worth it. It was worth all the confined space and awkward manoeuvring that sex in a car provided, it was worth the hour-long journey, it was worth getting stuck in the mud and the inevitable wait for a tow truck and the freezing cold of the night, because all of it brought you Kim Jennie grinding up against your tongue, close to sobbing as she finally unravelled, coming with a sharp cry and thighs clamping down around your head.
You let her ride it out, watching her shake as she came down from the high, hooking your arm around her thigh as you turned your head to press a kiss to the soft skin there.
It took a few minutes, the car perfectly silent except for the heavy breathing coming from both of you, almost in unison, and the heartbeat pounding in your ears.
Until, finally, Jennie managed to push herself up to a seated position, chest still visibly rising and falling with every breath. She took in the sight of you, letting her head loll to one side against the headrest, and she gave you one of her little half-smiles.
“I never thanked you for driving all the way out here, did I?”
“No,” you replied, slowly, trying to keep yourself from smiling back.
Jennie reached out, offering her hand to you.
“Then, get up here and show me how to.”

you’ve been friends with hannah from as far as you can remember. she has always been part of your life, which means that chris was, too. you always encouraged them to live their dreams and that clearly helped chris to where he is now. i mean, that’s what he is saying.
you were spending the week at hannah’s house, you were like a daughter to them and since your parents were abroad and you didn’t wanted to go with them, you stayed at her house. on saturday evening, they decided to go to a family’s party but you felt sick since the previous day.
“are you okay by staying by yourself, y/n ?” her mother asked, worried. “i am, don’t mind me. i just need some sleep, i’ll get better tomorrow for our thing.” you answered, smiling a little bit. “do you want me to stay with you ?” hannah questioned you, but you shook your head. “negative, it’s your cousins, you should go. i’ll be okay, you don’t have to worry that much.” she hugged you furtively. “okay, but call me if you need something sweetheart.” her mother said before planting a kiss on your forehead, something she always did since you were a child.
usually, when you felt sick during your time at hannah’s house, you would’ve go back home but, to be honest, you didn’t felt like it. you knew that they would come back late, but it was enough for you to feel safe in this house, rather than in yours. you laid down on the couch, trying to sleep a little, but you couldn’t so you decided to go back in hannah’s room, the one you were sleeping in during your little vacations.
you decided to take her computer to watch a movie but it had low batterie, so you went to chan’s room, hoping there will be a charger left in there. you entered his room, it was closed and cold. you went straight to his desk, not wanting to invade his privacy for too long but some pictures on the wall made you stay and stare at them. it was pictures of him when he was a child, alone, with his siblings and with his family. some pictures of berry, who, by the way, stayed on the couch after you left. and there was that one picture of the three you : hannah, chris and you.
it was during high school, chris was about to debut and spent all his time in south korea while you were here, kinda sad because he always promised he would be your date prom and prom was soon but he had to work hard. you knew it wasn’t his fault if he couldn’t come back home, he was working so hard to be able to reach his dream and he was close to it. but you couldn’t help yourself wishing he was here, with you.
you did some shopping with hannah and lucas, he was young and always sighting when he saw you two almost running towards things he thought was stupid. “it’s a girl thing.” you always said, and he was frowning. when you found THE dress, you were sure he would regret not being here. not in a mean way ofc.
you waited for him all night, not having much fun, hoping he would come at any moment. entering one of these doors by surprise, in a beautiful black suit and his curly blond hair. but he didn’t. or maybe he did, actually. he called you. yep, he did. it was at the end of the night, you were sitting on a chair next to the round table you were assigned to.
“hi y/n.” “hi chan” you said sadly but with a smile. since few weeks ago, you started to tease him by calling him by his stage name. it was kinda funny to you, because he would forever be chris to you, but chan to the others. in fact, he is still the same person inside, he hasn’t changed at all.
“i’m sorry i can’t be here.” “i know, it’s okay.” you heard loud noises in the background, frowning your eyebrows. “it’s just the kids.” he said when he saw the face you made. the kids, it was the name he gave to his members because he was the leader. you couldn’t help but smile at this thought, being so proud of him and what he achieved.
“how is the night going ?” he still asked carefully. “it’s not that bad. music is great and hannah is having fun.” “and you ?” you nod, lying. i wish you were here, you wanted to tell him but didn’t. “how’s the practice going ?” you asked in return. “it’s not that bad. he smiled. music is great and the kids are having fun.” you laughed, wanting so bad to hit his arm. “well, maybe they are not having fun but it’s still not that bad.”
hannah saw you from afar, sitting all alone, smiling at your phone. she decided to come up at you, checking up. “what’s up girl ?” she say next to you, tilting her head near you to watch your phone. “hey, brother !” she said with a huge smile on your face and you couldn’t help but smile too, seeing her happy just made you happy.
“wait, why are you calling her and not me ? it’s my prom night too !” she started to fight with her brother, who was trying hard to find arguments, while you were laughing at them, like you never laughed before. “okay girls, i got to go but i’ll call you later, bye !” and he hanged up, just like that. the call was fast and you couldn’t even show him your dress. you took pictures with hannah before the prom night started, but you wanted him to see it live. or kind of.
you were wearing that red dress you saw at the shop when you went with hannah and lucas, and she was wearing a light purple dress, she clearly looked like a princess. you envied her for a moment, but to be honest, some boys watched you too. let’s admit it, you looked gorgeous.

later that night, when you got home with hannah, you felt exhausted. you didn’t dance that much but your ankles were hurting due the fact that you’re not used of wearing heels. you only wear them occasionally, like today. which means two times a year : for your birthday and christmas. she’s so me lmao
so you went straight up to hannah’s room because it was where all your stuffs was. your parents were working late, as always, so you and hannah planned to get dressed together. in fact, you went first in the bathroom, in front of her bedroom, to check yourself on the mirror, taking off the ribbon in your hair, causing them to lay on your back. you brushed your hair and was about to took off the makeup when you remembered that you put it on hannah’s room after messing up your eyeliner. twice.
you opened the door, and he was there. no, i’m joking. you looked after the makeup remover, not finding it. “hannah !” you shouted her name, but she didn’t answer. you heard the television downstairs, she was probably watching something with her parents and her little brother and that’s why she didn’t hear you. you shouted her name again but, again, no response.
you were really tired and all you wanted was to go to bed and take off these stupid heels that was hurting your feets. so you did took them off, keeping them in your right hand while you were walking down the stairs. finally, hannah appeared in front of you when you were at the end of the stairs. “hannah, i called you twice.” “sorry, i didn’t heard.” “what were you doing ?” you raised an eyebrow, curious about what she could’ve done for her to not hear you.
“nothing !” she said fast, smiling widely. you looked at her, knowing she was lying to you. “okay.” she murmured. “my parents were preparing something in the backyard for you. they put lights every where, they probably want you to take photos and remember this day.” “you told them, don’t you ?” she nodded. “i admit it, i really wanted you to have fun, i’m sorry that chris wasn’t here but… you could’ve had fun with me instead…”
she said that with a low voice, a bit of sadness was perceptible. you opened your eyes wide as you realized : you left your best friend aside just because her brother made a promise he couldn’t keep. “oh my god, i’m so sorry hannah, i didn’t mean to hurt you !” you said while hugging her. “it’s just that promises are important to me, you know ? he is like a brother to me too and he always took care of me i-” she left out a giggle, taking your face in her hands. “i know y/n, i am not trying to blame you for anything. i had fun, i just wish you had fun too.”
you nodded quickly. “okay, let’s have some fun !” you say on the stairway, putting back your heels on. “let’s go outside, put on some music and take amazing pictures !” she smiled and clapped. “yayyy !! go first, i need to go to the bathroom for a minute. parents are outside.”
she puts a kiss on your cheek before getting away from you a little so you could go to the backyard. you walked through the outside windows, calling her mother’s name. and that’s when you saw him. this time it’s real. he was standing there, in the middle of the backyards, hundred lights attached to the few trees, looking so good in his black suit and red ribbon. “hi y/n” he said, showing his dimples as he was smiling at you. “chan…” you whispered before running straight into his arms.
“how come you’re here ?” “i told you i’d be here for prom.” “but… you were… you were in south korea and… you called me earlier…” you tried to think straight, but it was just useless. you were just a mess around him. of course, you always said he was like a big brother to you and, at first, it was true. until you started to realize your true feelings for him. but you were only hannah’s friend to him.
that night, you guys danced a slow in the middle of the backyard before the kids joined you to mess a little. it became one of the greatest time of your life, their mother took a lot of pictures, including this one you were looking at before falling asleep on his bed, holding it against your heart. you woke up at the sound of something falling on the ground.
“sorry y/n, i didn’t meant to wake you up.” you shook your head, sitting on the bed. “no, it’s okay. i’m sure you didn’t mean it, chris.” you were dozing off but suddenly, you opened your eyes wide. “chris ?!” you said louder, like you were just realizing who was standing in front of you. you got out off the bed to hug him, almost falling in the way. “what are you doing here ?” you looked at the timer on his desk. “and this late ?”
“i was supposed to surprise my family by coming earlier for the party, but my flight got delayed.” “oh, that’s too bad. but they will be happy to see you when they’ll come home.” you said, smiling and not letting him go off your arms, but he didn’t mind at all. “i don’t know when they’re going to come back home tho.” you pout. it was already 8pm, you’ve been napping for two hours already and you were looking a little bit messy. you started to put your hand in your hair, as if you were brushing them, the picture still in the other hand.
chris took your hand, looking at the picture, he smiled. “i like this one.” on the picture, you were standing next to each other, you in the middle of chris and hannah. you were smiling big looking straight at the camera while hannah was doing one of her fancy pose, chris looking fondly at both of you. it’s a really good picture. “yeah, i like too.”
“and you ?” he asked abruptly. “what about me ?” “are you happy to see me ?” “of course chris, always.” “not in a brotherly way, y/n. you know what i mean” you gulped, is he aware of your feelings ? why would he asks you that if not ? “of course i’m happy to see you, i told you.” “y/n” he said in a whisper, approaching his head to yours so he could put his forehead on yours.
“don’t do this to me.” he closed his eyes, you weren’t table to look at him, closing your eyes too, biting your lower lip. “doing what, chris ?” he breathed heavily, as if talking was taking all his strength and energy. “doing this, acting like you don’t know what i’m talking about.” “chris…” it was your time to whisper, your words barely audible. he finally got his head away from yours, looking directly into your eyes as you opened yours to look at him. “you don’t know what you’re doing to me y/n, i had a really hard moment trying my best to hide my feelings for you but… i can’t anymore.”
“why so ?” you asked. “why can’t you pretend anymore, what changed between us for you to realize it was time to tell me ?” you were really curious, was it a bad thing for your relationship to have changed ? because, if that thing has changed, maybe many mores have changed too. he took your hands and lead you to his bed where you both sit, face to face.
“everytime i was coming back home, i was seeing you so pretty, growing up, without me. you were looking more and more like a woman and… it was killing me to think that maybe someone else would have you because i wasn’t here. i was really hoping that you were waiting for me at some point. i know that, at the beginning, i was only seeing you as hannah’s best friend and then like a little sister. he paused. well, not really, i should say just her friends whom i had to take care of. you were never like a sister to me, to be honest.” honesty hurts, fuck.
you were looking down at yours hands, taking yours away from his, but he took it back. “y/n, i’m not saying this to hurt you.” “but that’s what you’re doing.” “y/n, i’m saying that i love you. from as far as i can remember, i always had a thing for you, and that’s why you could never be a little sister me, but…” he paused again, licking his lips before locking his gaze into your eyes. “when i entered the room and i saw you here, sleeping so peacefully on MY bed, holding this precious picture onto your chest… my heart skipped a few beats and i knew i couldn’t handle this anymore. y/n, i need you in my life, but not in a brotherly way. i want you, i want all of you.”

you blinked as you were assimilating what he was saying. he wanted you, like you want him. and it lasted for years. your eyes were locked into each other’s, feeling like the time has stopped. he finally leans, approaching his face to yours while his hand went up to rest on your neck, near your chin. his eyes were asking for permission and you closed yours to give it to him.
his lips finally crashed on yours for a sweet kiss, while his thumb was caressing your cheek and you were holding hard on his shirt. you’ve waited this moment to come for years, you truly never thought it would come, even tho you dreamed about it. talking about that, this moment was way better than you ever imagined, and it was about to get interesting.
the kiss intensified, his tongue finding a way to dance with yours, his hands getting down on your hips while yours made their way up to his neck and his hair, grabbing them as you were getting on your knees. it was way more heated than you thought it could be, for a first kiss.
you both finally broke the kiss, breathing hardly as you were looking at each other with desire. your lips were swollen and you couldn’t help yourself but bitting your lower lip, as if it wasn’t even real, while he was licking his, ready for the next round of heated kisses. you’re the first to lean this time, already missing this feeling.
this time, he took the control, laying you on the bed as he climbed over you, not breaking the kiss even once; his hands caressing your hips. you parted your legs so he could be more comfortable between them, but it wasn’t. at least, he wasn’t comfortable. especially in his pants.
he left your lips to place kisses on your neck, bitting it at some parts. “chris…” you murmurs as your hand gripped a strand of his hair a little bit to hard that he groaned. he got back at your lips, his hands finding their way to grab yours in his, putting them above your head. instinctively, your wrapped your legs around his waist, causing him to be the closest possible of you, especially down the belt.
this movement caused him to groan in your mouth, stopping the kiss as he rests his forehead on yours, eyes closed once again. “you okay ?” you asked, a shaky voice. you could barely talk because of all these feelings inside of your body, but you were worry for him. “yeah.” he just said, gulping. he finally opened his eyes to look at you, stars in his eyes.
“it’s just that we are really… close, right now and hum…” he took a look at the bottom of his stomach and your lips formed a o. “i’m sorry i didn’t meant to.” you said shyly but he smirked, looking back at you. stars disappeared to let the place to a dark storm. “but i like it, do you like it too ?” you nodded, to stunned to speak at the sudden changed of atmosphere.
his eyes found their brightness back as he left your hand to replace your hair behind your ear before caressing the exact same spot. “we don’t have to do anything, okay ? just kissing you is alright to me.” you found him just so sweet but, if you had to be honest, you didn’t want him to be only sweet. “what if it’s not alright to me ?”
he smiled lightly. “i don’t want you to feel obligated to do anything, baby.” your heart skipped a bit at the sound of this nickname. when your were younger, he always called you baby because you were just clumsy like a baby but, this time, it doesn’t have the same meaning. “i don’t.” “i just want you to be sure of what you’re doing. i don’t need this now, i can wait until you’re ready.” “i’ve been ready for years now.” the words skipped your mouth, your opened your eyes wide, looking away instantly, embarrassed about what you just said. oh god, he was making you things.
“i’m sorry. you said. i don’t want you to do something you don’t want either, consent is really important and… i don’t know why i said that but, i want you to know that i love you chris and i, too, will wait for you.” you swear he could’ve cry just now but you could feel in his pants that it has the opposite effect on him. he find it so sexy, the way you paid attention to his feelings. IT’S A NORMAL THING OK
without a warning, his lips crashed on yours one more time, giving you no time to breath at all. his tongue dancing with yours, fighting for the one who would have the control, until he backed up to take off his shirt. no time wasted, you couldn’t even admire the view that he got back at yours lips before reversing you so you’d end up above him.
you backed up, sitting on his thighs before taking off your hoodie. sickness and cold was just a memory now, you were only wearing a bra under your hoodie. it was his hoodie actually but you stole it way too long ago for him to remember. he sat too, watching you with admiration before kissing your lips softly, then going to your neck, his hands finding their way to your back, asking permission to take off your bra.
you nodded shyly, closing your eyes. your body was something you weren’t confident with, and you didn’t wanted to see any glimpse of deception or disgust on his face. but he just looked at you with love in his eyes, not believing himself that you were offering yourself to him, the one he loved since for ever. he carressed your back, planting kisses in your neck before going down to your boobs.
your hand were on his hair, grabbing them as he started to kiss your boobs, licking your nipples slowly, caressing the one he didn’t have in his mouth. you let a sigh going out of your mouth before biting your lips to not make too much noises. he kept his movement, giving the same pleasure to both your red nipples. but the thing is that he gave more attention to your right boob and the cause was your piercing. sorry, i have both nipples pierced, i had to include it.
oh when he saw you in that red lace bra, he had to look twice. your nipples were already hard and he could see the tip of the piercing through it, but he thought he saw it wrong, until he took off your underwear. it made him getting harder in his pants and, having a hard dick in jeans is not really the most comfortable thing, you know.
as much as he was sucking your boobs, you started to move your hips in rhythm, feeling the bump that his dick made under his pants, and it really started to make you wet. “chris…” you whispered, needy. of course, he was aware of the way he was making you feel and he didn’t meant to play with it, but just to give you the more pleasure possible.
it was your first time together, after all, and he wanted this moment to be special and filled with pleasure and love. you took his head in your hands, forcing him to let go your chest to kiss you deeply for a while. while you were catching breath to keep going, he looked at you one last time with stars in his eyes. “you sure baby girl ?” you smiled. “i never was more sure in my life.”
his gaze darkened as he grabbed your waist to put you back in your previous position, sittings down between your legs to help you taking off your short and underwear. he unbuckled his belt and took off his pants and underpants before coming back between your legs.
outside, the sky was getting dark, only a ray of sunlight to light up the room as the sun was going down. you took few seconds to finally admire the one you always loved before kissing him softly, your hand finding them way to his cock as his were caressing your pussy. soon enough, room was filled with the sound of wet kisses and moans as you were preparing each other for what was going to follow.
“you still sure, baby ?” you nodded. “and you ?” he smiled. “i am.” he kissed you softly, guiding his cock to your entrance, caressing your it with the tip of his cock to tease you a little. he finally entered, little by little so you could adjust to him. it hurts a little but it was okay, until he was fully into you. it felt horrible but the worst was that he wasn’t moving. “it’s okay chris, i’m fine.” “sure ?” “mh mh” he planted a kiss on your neck before starting to move inside you. slowly and not fully at first, planting a million of kisses on your neck and your shoulder.
your left hand was on his back, grabbing his shoulder from behind while your right hand was on his hair, gripping tighter as much as he was thrusting into you. fastly, the pain faded away to leave the place to pleasure, and you let yourself go, moaning and whispering his name. he found the perfect pace, hitting the right spot in the perfect angle. “oh god chris more” you could barely talk, but when you did, it was only to ask him for more.
the feeling of him, inside you, was unique. you felt complete, as if your place was destined to be in chan’s arms, making love. he groaned your name as he started to get a little bit faster, changing his position so he’ll be able to see you fully and watch himself getting inside of you so beautifully and easily. you were clearly made for him.
“you’re so good for me, baby.” he managed to say and at first, it made you feel shy but it made something grow in your stomach. you loved being praised. “so right for me baby girl, god i love you so much” he kissed you messily, you knew you both wouldn’t last long, too excited of this moment.
“you want me to turn around ?” you asked as he approached his face to your neck to kiss it, his eyes widen but he kept his pace. “why so, baby girl ?” “i don’t know, i thought it would be nice to try the doggy style.” you said and it felt like he was shocked a bit. “you want that, baby girl ?” you nodded and he thrust a little bit harder inside of you before taking his dick out of you to turn you around by grabbing you by your waist.
you were now boobs on the matresss and face on the pillow, he leads your waist to him, in the perfect doggy style position and just looking at the view of your ass, he was trying hard not to destroy you or cum right away. he caressed your ass with one hand, leading his cock to your pussy once again with the other. “i’m going in, love.” you don’t know if you melt because of the nickname or the sweetness of his voice and the fact that he warned you, but you swear you could have ask him to do whatever he wants with you.
he started to thrust slowly, the position was new for both you and he didn’t wanted to hurt you of course. but, he clearly saw that this position was giving you waaay more pleasure than the previous one, he was hitting the right spot with every inch of his dick, it was just heavenly. his hands, whom were on your hips, made their way to your shoulder. in this angle, he started to thrust harder, the sound of your ass hitting his thighs filled the room, between both your moans and the whispers of your names.
“oh my god y/n, you’re just so good for me.” he said in a groan, feeling that he was close to cum soon. you moan loudly, clearly aroused by the praise he just said. you leaned on your elbow, your hand reaching his to put it in the front of your neck, forcing him to lean a bit more on your back. “oh baby.” he said in a deep tone that made you gulped. he didn’t move his hand an inch, didn’t even try to get his grip tighter or anything that could hurt you.
his thrusts started to get faster again, and deeper. you felt something in the bottom of your stomach, clearly forgetting to breathe as you felt your legs shaking. behind you, chris was looking at your ass, or should i say : at his dick disappearing inside your pussy, before he throw his head, closing his eyes as he felt the orgasm coming.
he placed his hands back on your hips, too afraid to hurt you as he was fucking you harder, deeper and faster. “baby girl, i’m coming.” he said hardly. “yes chris, please” you said loudly, exhausting as you felt your orgasm hitting you suddenlly, at the same time as his. he started to thrust slower, just a few more times to prolong your orgasm and his before he stopped completely.
he leaned on you, kissing your back with million kisses before he got out of you, laying on the bed next to you, grabbing you to get closer to him, your head on his chest. “you okay baby ?” you nodded, still trying to catch your breath. “did i hurt you ?” “no chan, you didn’t. you looked up at him. it was amazing, really. it was perfect.” he smiled at you. “yes, it was.” you smiled back before kissing him softly.
“i think i might change the sheets before they come back home.” you laughed a bit. “you should, yes. i’m going to wash myself.” he kissed your forehead while you went to the bathroom yes, naked. he took off the sheets and joined you for a quick shower. he started to wash your body, then his. you were about to say something when you heard noises from downstairs. you both looked at each other, they came back home earlier than expected.
“fuck.” he cursed before showering himself really fast. he grabbed a towel and wrapped himself in it, quickly going back to his room. you heard noises on the stairs, then chan’s mother calling you. “y/n ? you’re here ?” you answered. “yes, i’m taking a shower.” “do you feel better honey ?” she was already near the bathroom door, no need to talk loudly anymore. you got out of the shower quickly, wrapping yourself in a towel and your hair in another one before opening the door to your best friend’s mother. “i do, thank you. i’m sorry i couldn’t come.” “it’s okay sweetheart. was everything alright tonight ?”
you smirked, thinking about the few hours ago. “well, yes.” hannah joined you both while lucas and his father were downstairs. “you look better.” hannah said. “SURPRISE !” chris shouted, going out of his room in sweatpants and hoodie, his wet hair hidden under a black cap. they both screamed before hugging him. lucas and his father joined the family reunion while you were getting dressed in hannah’s room. “fuck, my clothes.”

You never really knew that much about boys growing up. That’s just how it went. Hajime started playing volleyball before you were old enough to remember different. Your life was constructed around it. Every practice for him meant no free babysit for your parents, so you were dragged with mom to dance class with other moms. And they brought their equally clueless baby girls, which led to you enrolling in girls related things with girls who related.
You wouldn’t have known about boy’s things, apart from the small circle of cultivated friends Hajime allowed into his space, and yours. It wasn’t on purpose, but the outcome was still the same.
Any and all information you had about boys came straight from Hajime’s mouth, who was older. Compared to clueless you; niichan held the wisdom of a sage. You always clung to his every word, even as he grew bigger. Even as he grew more snappy, sick of dealing with his friends who were stupid boys and did stupid high school boy things. Everything you didn’t know went through niichan. Not ever the other boy spending too much time in your house, because Oikawa was a liar, and niichan would make sure you remembered it.
But you knew certain things too when you saw them, and what small amount you did know— was now rearing it’s ugly head and asking questions.
“Wh—what’s this? What are you watching?” As you shuffle out of the hall with a frown, you hold niichan’s phone away from your body with loose fingertips. Boys might not have cooties anymore in your mind, but everyone talks about how gross boys are. You don’t want to risk it. And Hajime freezes in place like he’s guilty, wide-eyed. It’s brand new. Unusual. Like hitting bullseye on the first throw, tickling your brain from within.
See, Hajime was always bigger than most in your town, athletically built, and prone to using that build full of energy and power to his advantage. That to say, he was always quicker than most to squish you into silence or grab you by the collar instead of using his words when it came to accusations. Your parents weren't around much to scold him for it. It’s what his popular best friend loved to call ‘anger issues’, wait for it to blow up.
And silent, thinly veiled panic isn’t — that.
“Why the hell are you on my phone?” Hajime’s face blanks as he puts down the remote, glances over his shoulder for supervision, and puts on his meanest glare as he scrambles up from the couch. He’d been left on little sister duty all afternoon, and now, you’d gone and made a critical error. Your friends joke about no-goes, but you never really got why ‘messing around on a boy’s phone’ was an issue.
Hajime nii clearly doesn’t agree. His biceps bulge as he crosses his arms over his chest with mouth set in a thin line, and you shuffle in place within arms’ reach of him.
“I’m not on your phone, I just found it like this on your bed.” It’s the truth, you hadn’t meant to find anything. Intent doesn’t matter to your big brother though, because he towers you as he does. It’s the best way you can describe the way he glares you down ice cold, close enough to make your skin break out in goosebumps, waiting for retaliation. If you were any of his guy friends, you’re sure they’d get a solid kick to the shin. The little sister treatment is more mean mugging you until you fidget. “I wasn’t even snooping, I just needed to get a charger,” you tack on, swinging your arms behind your back.
“Give it.”
“No,” you quip back, for no particular reason other than to win the back and forth that always starts like this.
“Give me my phone, before I choose to take it.” His hand sticks out, bigger than yours, and you lean back a little. Usually it’s just empty threats. But sometimes you pick the wrong day to argue back, until you end screaming like a banshee under him like it’s life or death. Niichan’s still young enough where it makes him feel strong not to hold back.
The second ‘no’ sticks in your throat as he leans into your space more, and you can basically taste the natural instinct to roll over before he gets there. But you can’t help yourself. You want answers. You don’t deliver the device as quickly as he wants you to. A single eyebrow raises -an I dare you- deciding whether or not to smack you over the head for your transgression.
And you should know better, but the younger sibling in you aches. You suck your bottom lip. “Why are you watching this?” you grimace as you look at the phone again, unlocking it to reveal the video of a naked girl suckling on what the deadly annoying, high-pitched whine of ‘step brother’ loud through the little phone speaker says is her brother’s… parts. It doesn’t look like anything you’ve ever seen, from the few seconds you watched. But niichan always gets into the bath before you, and you don’t peek. Ever. But judging by the groaning and moaning from the guy, it must be-
Hajime goes bright red in his face as he yanks the phone out of your hands. “Don’t play it, are you fucking stupid?” Your father is still just as busy in his office as he’s been all day, but the way he panics to turn it off would almost make you think differently.
“It’s porn, isn’t it? You’re watching porn.” You’ve heard your friends talk about porn enough to know what it is. You just don’t know why he’s watching it. “Why?”
After clicking out of the tab, your big brother makes a face that’s equal parts fed up, and embarrassed, but he doesn’t give you any of the answers you’re looking for. “Shittykawa sent me that, ’s nothing. Just- fuck, don’t touch my shit again. Or I’ll knock the sense into you, y’hear?”
“But why watch it?”
“You’re dumber than you look if you think I’ll talk to you about-” The last word isn’t even spoken, but it feels like it’s heard just as loud. Your brother watches porn. There’s a pit in your stomach. Because your brother isn’t a liar, but he also isn’t a gossip. And he doesn’t offer up important information until you ask, which always ends with you feeling left out. Late. The overly girly pout of the woman moaning rings in your mind over and over. You’ve never done that stuff to your brother. Instead of helping you out, he hoards info. It makes the hairs on your neck stand up, and you don’t know why.
When he goes to brush past you, you wrap your arms around his waist and cling to him, face to stomach as he tries to walk away. “I’m not done,” you drag out the word, “niichan, stahp-uh. St-aw-aww! You’re hurting me!” You’re really to blame for the way you struggle to hold him in place, and he isn’t one to just fold without a fight. “Niisan~ tell me why! Come on, don’t be annoying. Ughh— don- you’re annoying!” Hajime nii doesn’t just give in. You know that as well as he does.
“Get off!!” His hand is big and warm as it wraps around your neck and he shoves his thigh between your legs, lifted off the floor. You cling on, squeezing hard as he huffs and you use your whole body to try and keep him in place. “Let go of me, brat, fuckin’-uhg- you’re—” You manage to fall back halfway into the couch with Hajime’s weight on top of you in the struggle and bite it, butt landing hard on the floor as he knees you in the shoulder and protects your face just in time. “Idiot, you wanna break your nose over this shit?”
“Why are you looking at that stuff, tell me!” you demand again, through welling up tears this time. “I want to know, or else- Else I’ll ask Oikawa.” He moves just enough to cradle your face and watch you for a second, then blows out a deep breath.
“No, you don’t.” His eyes zero in on yours, and his eyebrows flatten out a little. “You’ve made your point, just stop making a scene.” After running a hand through his spiky tufts of hair, he clicks his tongue. “If I tell you, will you shut up about it?”
Your head bobs up and down quickly, always ready to indulge your brother. “Of course! Promise.” Your voice is extra sweet when you say it.
In turn, Hajime sits back down to make some room for your shoulder as you sink down against the furniture, and look up at him. “Get up from the floor, c’mon-”
“Hajime nii~,” you bristle, crossing your arms over your chest, “just say it.”
You can basically see him think about rolling his eyes, but he fights the urge to instead let out a noncommittal huff, and pats his thigh. “Suit yourself.” You swallow down a sniffle, and rest your head onto the couch. And your niichan’s eyes flick to you again, hesitating. “What d’you want me to- I- If you wanna know why I watched it, it’s- because it feels good. I like it.” Your face must give away your confusion, because he glances over his shoulder again before patting your head and running his fingers through your hair in nerves. “And it is easier for guys to… come if we watch stuff.”
“Like it?” Your lashes tickle against the fabric as you look up at him, not yet satisfied. He’s not getting away with a measly little explanation like that. “But what was the girl doing?” Niichan’s chest rumbles softly with the deep breath he takes, pulling his fingers down to squeeze the bridge of your nose instead, like it’ll shut you up. But it doesn’t, only makes you whine and push at the hand. When he speaks again, his voice is very soft, almost too much so. It makes you giddy. It warms your blood. You love when Hajime nii tells you secrets, or things you’re not supposed to know.
The low mumble reaches. “Sucking his dick.”
Sucking it. You pop your lips, and watch as he starts bouncing his leg next to your head. But the lady in the video wasn’t just sucking. You’re not sure how to word it, so just pout for a moment. It’s not like you mean to push it too far. Evidently, you do though. “Can I do that to you, niichan?”
It nails the coffin closed, because he suddenly stands up and narrows his eyes, as heat comes up all the way to his ears. “Oh my god, don’t make it sound fucked up. I’m—”
"What, what, what?" you pout, and cling to him.
"Shut. Your. Trap. Dad's gonna hear." He takes your cheeks between his index finger and thumb, and makes you really look into his eyes. “Don’t ask anyone else that. Ever, okay? I’m not- talking about this with you right now.”
+
The conversation sated you back then, it seems. Because it doesn’t come up again until you’ve totally forgotten about it, much, much later. Late enough for you to be awoken from your sleep with an involuntary yawn. Hajime’s apartment is still pitch black, but you’re not unaware of the shape next to you as it slips into the covers with careful motions. Your chest rises and falls shallowly, before you nose pushes into his chest and he settles. “Sorry.”
“M’n -rom d’airport, miss you,” you slur, and also curl up further into Hajime’s heat, who doesn’t bother to try and understand you. You’re not even sure yourself. Only that you don’t want him to move, and that the gentle soothing motion of his heavy hand on your hip is nice. “Hm?”
“You’re taking up my side,” his voice rattles your skull with how deep and low it feels this close to your brain.
“‘M not leaving, you’re warm. Wanna stay here. Forever.” It’s enough to have him give in, slide an arm under your side and drape you up a little higher onto his pillow to really slide in nice and close next to you. Chest to chest, and your face to his collar. It isn’t the first time you’ve cuddled, or felt his thighs force some room between your legs to slide one of his between.
But it’s weird. You can still feel his eyes on your face, magnetic in the twilight. They trail paths all over, suffocatingly so. When you open your eyes as much as the call of sleep will allow, your lashes almost brush his nose, and it tickles, and your big brother’s breath dusts over your cheeks. “Wanna get more sleep before I have to go back home.” You justify, but Hajime doesn’t nod, doesn’t disagree either. He just looks, too close to your face. Your sleepiness doesn’t matter so much when your heart patters against your ribs. It’s just - like ice sliding down your spine, you can feel how your stomach turns inside you, and how hot the air feels. Why is it weird?
You’re older now. You know better now. There’s a whisper, a soft “niichan,” anything to break the tension. It is breathier than you mean it to come out. You just want to know if he feels nauseous too, sensing the same feeling of hell pressing down on your chest as the room seems to come closer. He seems to come closer too. He’s always so bright, so present in your mind. Whether you’re halfway across the world or kept
in his arms. And then pillowy lips connect with yours, nose brushing along your matching one, and your lips are pushed open by a wet, warm tongue. A hot flash travels down your throat as you try not to skitter away at the feeling. It takes a few seconds for your brain to catch up. Why is it different? Why? Why’s your belly burning with a strange sort of pressure? Tonight’s the last night you’ll be spending in Hajime’s apartment for a while, maybe.
His tongue slides into your mouth and tangles with yours, tasting of watermelon and mint mouthwash, and his heart beats slower against your chest. He’s just so close, and you feel like you’re drifting off into dreamland with how warm you feel melting into him. “M-nii -chan,” your voice comes, and a hand grabs your cheek to pull your face closer to his. You’re instantly reminded… of that high pitched moan of that girl on that video.
“Shh, ‘s okay. I’ve got you,” he noses along your jaw, before pressing a lingering kiss right in the middle of your bobbing throat. You don’t expect him to sit up. You don’t expect him to slide his arm under your knees and move you sideways, and to come back to your face for more warm, sloppy, wrong kisses. “I love you. I love you.” This is… wrong, isn’t it? It’s incest, and wrong. The word that haunted you ever since you learned it’s meaning. He groans your name in the quiet, and you automatically reply with a soft moan. Can’t help it. The kissing turns into deeper, needier, panting and spit on your bottom lip before he slides the calloused tips of his fingers over the exposed sliver of your tummy and up.
Hooking your flimsy cotton onto his fingers and pulling at it until he reaches the swell of your tits, but not revealing anything yet. You shake, and your legs spread apart. There’s a pressure on your bladder, on the lowest part of your belly, where heat collects itself and drips out of you into your panties— and it should be more embarrassing than it is. But your pout is kissed by your devoted, all-knowing big brother, and you wrap your arms around his neck to pull him closer.
“Let me- wanna show you somethin’ now.” His breathing against you feels like heaven, sweetening your blood until you can barely think straight over the smacking mouths and dripping of spit and your cunt and the swirling fire in your loins. “You’re so fucking- pretty.” His chest rubs against your tits, and his fingers pinch the skin where your breasts blush with heat, squeezing with a low rumble of his voice. He wants to say something, but doesn’t get the words out, clearly, as he shuts himself up in your lips, then your throat, down to your tits. Your pussy’s glowing, and your mind foggy- something you can’t pinpoint to either sleep or the moment, and is most likely both combined.
Hajime nii’s boxers are barely clinging onto his thighs with the way it’s tented around his cock when he pulls back, taking a long look just like you are. He’s hot, physically burning under your eyes. But also… filled out so much. He was always broad, but now it’s just distracting. Carved from marble and dusted with gold. It’s childish, petulant even, how you take in the sight and moan with your hands pawing at his shirt, but so fucking true. You’re overcome with it, with love for him.
And niichan seems similarly affected as you are, because there’s a furrow between his brows that only relaxes when he stares at your blushy, spit-covered lips, your heaving chest, the sticky patch of your panties as you’re laid spread on his bed.
His hand comes to yours, letting you wrap your fingers around his, but he doesn’t move beyond that. Only breathes deeply, and stares at the way you tangle your fingers between his. “Niichan, please,” you whine, pulling, tugging, demanding him into motion until he places his free hand onto his chubbed cock and squeezes himself through the fabric. The wet patch of his gray boxers clings uncomfortably to his cockhead, and you suck your lip between your teeth. “Show me, niichan. I wa- wan’ you to, please.”
You’re the one sitting up first, grabbing a handful of your own tits to whimper as his fist stays screwed around his cock— and have to lean yourself all the way down to nose at the inside of his thigh before he finally moves again. “Oh- fuck.” His hips jerk as he rubs himself against your cheek once, and when you moan, again. Large hands and long fingers splay out over your head to keep you in place as gently as he can manage as you let your spit-slick tongue rub against him as he fucks into the air and you chase. You only manage a little glance up between your lashes at his heavy petting and desperate few pumps against the softness of your mouth, but it’s plenty.
Plenty to see the blown out pupils and bead of sweat rolling down his neck, his ears and cheeks a dusty pink. Your big brother groans when you brush your thumb over the sticky patch of the fabric and wrap a ring of fingers around him, forcing the covered head to pop into your soft mouth with a loud kissy noise. “I- Fucking hell, get o- oh,” he doesn’t let you stay latched on, tangling his fingers in your hair and holding you away as he shudders, “you wan’it? That makes you feel good, does it?” The pull of your hair feels good though, pussy clenching around nothing again.
“Mhm, being under my big brudder makes me feel good.” You can’t keep yourself from nuzzling into his hand when he releases you to get up onto his knees, and watch as he shoves the boxers down his thick thighs with slower motions than you wish he’d use. It’s a little unfair. Even in the low light, you can see the glossiness of his cockhead, the little trail of hair leading you all the way down to right between muscular legs- and your nails drag down the skin with a needy whine until he rests the heavy tip back onto your lips. Onto your squirming, little tongue.
Hajime’s breathing comes to a halt as you lick up the slit and glance up at him, and move your hand to reach under his cock too. “Mh-niichan? You wanted this, right? for how long?”
His eyes go half lidded as he hums. “Long.”
Another long lick sliding down, your spit coats the bottom of his twitching cock until you’re happily nestled at the base and press kisses down. “Is that why you only watch sister porn?”
He groans your name with a tight grunt, and you can see the way his chest caves. You guess it doesn’t really matter. Worse sins have been committed just tonight than your big brother fondling you in his bed, and pressing you down on his lap. But the way it flushes his neck and makes his eyes narrow is so satisfying, you almost don’t know what to do with yourself when he pushes you away from him to roll you onto your back, long fingers finding your neck. The press scares you for a split second, before the pressure makes way for entirely too much pleasure. “Still a fucking brat.” His olive irises flash as he watches you drop open your mouth again, and pull at his shirt with a moan.
“Take this off~ niichan, please. Please.” His shirt is discarded somewhere next to the bed, before he allows you to place your lips back to the thumping, blood-filled head of his cock and wrap them around it. It feels good, really good— and he tastes like Hajime, slowly starting to rock onto your tongue as his hand tightens in your hair.
“Wan- uhuh, fuck, I want to cum down your throat so bad. Use-m- my little sister’s mouth.” He’s heavy, and thick, and spit gets everywhere as you do your very best to hollow your cheeks around his hard cock each time he pushes a little farther in. But of course you gag when he pushes past your tongue into your tight throat, and grunts out your name. He pulls back to let you take a breath but fucks right back into you, now rocking his hips harder and deeper. You gag, and Hajime hums. “Tch, messy little sister. Good, tho- feels so good-” Your fingers squeeze around the part where you can’t quite reach, other hand on his balls, while spit goes everywhere.
“Fuck, I’m fucking my sister’s mouth, this is- so fucked.” You suck harder, and Hajime’s cock twitches in your mouth. “Uh- love— you, uhuh, that’s a good girl.” Your lips are stretched wide, and your throat burns around the intrusion, but the feeling just makes you so lightheaded. Floating off from the world as he cups your face with two hands and jackhammers into your mouth until you can’t tell up from down. Your muffled, sloppy ‘niichan, niichan’ only makes his shoulders raise higher, abs flexed each time he makes you bottom out around him, each time tears run down your face. Even when you gag and push back against him. “You love your big brother too, right?”
“Mhm,” you’re choking on it and enjoying it, breath flooding your lungs each time he pulls back far enough to let you— before you have to grab his thigh and open your teary eyes to glance up at him. “Niichan, Hajime nii, p-please. Want your cock, i-inside, want to be my big brother’s cockslut, plea~se.”
He hauls you up from him by your shoulders, rolls you onto your back as he stares into your eyes. Pupils blown wide, with the pretty sliver of green, he bites his lip so hard it must hurt. “Why— you keep saying shit like that, thinking I’m not going to react? Stop poking.” His long fingers glide from your shoulder up to your neck again, and squeeze just enough to have you seeing little stars that vanish when you look at them. It feels good. Hajime feels so good. With the light of the moon dusting along his edges, you slowly spread your legs on both sides of his body, and blink.
“Mean it. Mn-gh, nii~chan. Want your cock to fill me up, I wan’it so bad. Want you.” He looks rabid as he dips down to shove a thumb between your lips for you to suck, lingering in that heady feeling. More. You moan it around his finger as he pushes on your tongue, but he’s already distracted with the way you’re peeling your own panties down your legs, and how the stings of slick stretch from the fabric all the way to your gushing cunt. “Pl-uh-ese, nii-dan.” Your lewd sucking of his finger and the way you pull your lower legs around his glutes seems to be too much for him.
“Love ya, Hajime niichan.”
You feel his lips crash to yours before his cock is shoved into you, but it’s the latter that instantly has your arms wrap around his muscular back to cling on. Because he’s thick, heavy, and burning hot inside you. Wetness clicks and squelches as he slides all the way in and swallows up your moan. He pulls out, and slams back in hard enough to make your legs jerk. You feel him in your belly. You feel him in your throat. You feel him in your soul too, as he sucks your tongue and cups your cheek and palms your tits all at once. As he pulls out and hits a spot inside you you didn’t even know about, and fucks you so good it makes your toes curl.
“‘S our secret, okay?” he pants when he pulls back, lifting your legs to your chest. And you’re already nodding your head up and down before he has to ask more, letting out the shakiest whimper.
Your voice is extra sweet when you hum. “Of course. Promise~.”

(NSFW) stepsister with virgin!ethan landry PA LEASE🖤
he stalks her.he likes calling her dumb and pretty.ADD ANYTHING YOU’RE COMFORTABLE WITH🖤
YUPPP no smut just plot :)
He’s so condescending. So mean, he thinks he’s better than you, only because he just happens to be a few months older. “Sibling superiority. You do what I say,” he’s told you many, many, times. Each time, you roll your eyes and flip him off, secretly feeling giddy at the way he smiles at you afterwards.
You remember when your mom told you about Wayne, you felt indifferent. You were gonna go off to college incredibly soon, nothing would change about your household for now. Sure, holiday’s would be slightly different, but nothing you couldn’t handle. Until Wayne told you that both of his children would also be going to Blackmore University.
Until you merged houses and saw just how different life with the Baileys was going to be.
There was only maybe two weeks between moving in with the Baileys, and move in day. And those two weeks were spent sharing glances with Ethan that were too heavy to be familial.
The way he treated you was so … off. Eyeing you with a heavy gaze as you walked around the house in shorts, watching you during family dinners, offering to take you places that one time your car was in the shop whenever you could’ve sworn that he hated you. He was so back and forth, such a hypocrite, spewing insults at you and then hanging out in your room afterwards.
“You’re such a dumb little girl. Not a single thought in your head.”
“Too busy worrying about looking pretty to even understand how the economy works, huh?”
And that same night you were a few paces to your bedroom when he was coming out, looking sheepish upon running into you.
“I … uh … left my charger in your room from the other night.”
“The night when you had nothing better to do than lay in my bed and watch Tenet with me?”
A curt nod and he was scurrying across the hall to his room. (You lost two pairs of underwear since that visit and you can’t figure out where they’ve gone to)
And when you get to Blackmore, you have hopes that he’ll leave you alone, hopefully you’ll peel off into different friend groups. But no such luck befalls upon you, since you, Quinn, and Ethan all wind up in the same friend group.
You swear he’s following you. There’s been many times that you’ve checked your Life360 to find where Mindy was, and Ethan’s icon is entirely too close to you, especially when you know he has a class on the other side of the campus.
Annika makes a cruel joke that your new step brother has a crush on you. You laugh it off.
But you wouldn’t mind it.

I Fall Apart // Ghost of You

summary: jj gets to mack on his girl, sarah's got topper whipped, john b and his dad are MIA, and y/n's reminded just how reckless her boyfriend can be
warnings: s3 spoilers, accidents, panic attacks, shitty parenting as per usual
--
The first thing you did was shove JJ into the shower. The next was handling getting the electricity back on since clearly your father wasn’t concerned with doing that. You were fine with not tagging along with their treasure hunting, but you were worried about your brother. He loved your dad, adored him for so much of his life, and it concerned you that he wouldn’t see what a pawn he was in your dad’s plans.
You had told JJ as much as you sat in the bathroom on the floor while he showered. You told him about Singh’s place, about Rafe, and how your dad sent you guys on a goose chase for a rock. JJ couldn’t say he was surprised, about any of it, but he was just glad to be back with you.
Soon enough, Sarah and Kie were on your doorstep, the four of you crowding out by the dock to get the last of the warm sun on you before turning in for the night.
“I went back to grab clothes and a phone, and you’re not gonna believe this,” Sarah started as she sat down next to you. “Rafe is back. I saw him at the house. I don’t think he saw me, but I think the cross is coming back to Wilmington tomorrow night.”
You sat up from where you were leaning against JJ’s chest to face her. “What?”
“Does Pope know?” Kie asked.
Sarah shook her head. “No, I was gonna tell him when I found you guys.”
“He can’t, he’s on lockdown.” You expected everyone to take some time away, and connect with their families before coming back to figure out the next steps.
Sarah sighed, “Okay, well. Kie and I can hit up Pope and you guys tell John B when you see him?”
“Yeah, yeah. Of course.” You gave them both a small smile as they said their goodbyes and walked back up the dock.
You and JJ sat silently, taking in the warmth on your skin before the sun disappeared for the night. You really wished your brother would come home or at least check in to make sure he was okay. Sarah had found a spare iPhone charger to give you for the phone you guys had taken from Barbados. You made sure any tracking services were off so Singh couldn’t try and chase you down.
“Well if the cross is coming back, it’s still on the field. We’re still in this, we can come in and swoop. We gotta get everybody together and come up with a plan,” JJ rattled off as his fingers tapped excitedly against your thighs.
You took a deep breath and grabbed JJ’s hands to hold in your own. You were thankful for the last chance opportunity to get the cross back, but you didn’t want to risk running into Rafe or getting your friends into the line of trouble again.
“Talk to me,” JJ held out the word, swinging your hands back and forth before wrapping around your waist tightly to hold you. “C’mon.”
A small smile formed on your face, so grateful for a boy who could read you so easily, who could love you so easily. You laughed as he left wet kisses against your shoulders into the curve of your neck to get you to talk. “Okay, okay.” He pressed one more to your temple for good measure. “I’m just worried about John B. That’s all.”
“He’s with your dad, Y/N. I’m sure he’s perfectly fine.”
You kept your grip on JJ’s hand and brought it up to your lips to kiss the back of it. “That’s exactly why I’m worried about him. My dad is way too deep in this treasure hunt to realize he’s putting his own kids at risk, and John B will just let him because he doesn’t want to disappoint him.”
“He didn’t seem too upset when you said you didn’t wanna go,” JJ tried to reason.
You shook your head. “That’s because he doesn’t have any disappointment left when it comes to me. I know he doesn’t care if I’m there or not. That’s how it’s always been. Him and John B against the world. I was just the backup piece.” You took a deep, shaky breath. “Your dad takes the prize for Shittiest Dad but I think mine might be a close second.”
JJ laughed at the idea. “Well, Ward Cameron might take second but I get what you mean. And it may be hard, but I don’t want you to think what your dad says represents the truth about you. You’re my number one, no matter what.”
You mumbled a small thank you, adjusting further into his grip as if there was any room to. God knows what you’d do without JJ.
"We have the whole house to ourselves?"
"Jesus Christ, JJ!"
--
Your group met back up the next afternoon to figure out what the plan was to get the cross back. You still hadn’t heard anything from John B, Sarah claiming the same. The six of you crowded around a small table with the sun beating down on you. The ferry ride to Wilmington wouldn’t take too long so you could bear the heat for the time being.
“Honestly, the hardest part is gonna be security, alright?” JJ was running everyone through the steps of what would need to go down. “So most of the guys are gonna be at the rail yard.”
“Right, so we’re going to need to find someplace and guard it, maybe a little further down the line, like a whistle-stop or something,” Pope theorized.
“You guys are getting ahead of yourselves per usual,” Cleo interrupted, “We don’t have a way to transport the cross. What did you think? On JJ’s motorcycle?”
Your boyfriend grunted behind you and pulled his hat off. “That’s not my fault.”
“Okay, so other options-”
“Oh, my God.” You all stopped conversing at Sarah’s sudden outburst, watching as she sat up stiffly next to you. You moved instantly, Kie and Pope doing the same to see where her gaze had been to come up with Topper Thornton.
“Why…is he everywhere?” Kiara asked as she turned back around.
Pope, however, was on a different thought process. “Perfect. Hey, Jayj. I bet you Topper has a way to transport the cross.”
Your boyfriend shrugged at the suspicion. “Actually, Pope’s right. He does have a rig.”
“No.” Sarah instantly declined.
“Yes,” JJ clapped right back.
“No. Absolutely not.”
“Oh, come on,” JJ pestered, “Sarah, you already got him whipped anyway, alright? So, why don’t you just take one for the team?”
The blonde was not happy with the suggestion. “What would John B say?”
You tilted your head in consideration. “Eh, I think John B would completely understand. It is about the treasure.” You caught her defeated look and leaned over to place your hand on hers. “If you really don’t want to, it’s okay. You don’t have to. But, I think if you just talk to him, he may be willing.”
Sarah let out a deep breath before mumbling an agreement and getting to her feet. The five of you watched carefully, moving out of view so Topper couldn’t see you directly. You hated the idea of Sarah feeling uncomfortable with this but you knew she could handle it. After a few moments of back and forth, she suddenly gave Topper a big hug which signaled an agreement in your eyes. Your friends silently cheered around you, giving her a thumbs up when she made eye contact.
Maybe y’all had a chance at this after all.
--
It was dark out by the time you guys hit the train yard, managing to situate yourself on top of one of the cars so you could survey everything around you.
“Well, there’s like a thousand trains here.”
“We know it’s car 750X on the track to Raleigh, so now we just gotta find it.”
You scanned the area in front of you. “Well, news flash, guys. We’re not getting out of here unnoticed with a giant cross.”
“We don’t have to,” Pope said, “We can nab it somewhere further in the country. Just gotta figure out how to stop the train.”
“Leave that to me,” JJ interrupted everyone’s thought process. You stared at him, waiting for further explanation. “I got an uncle up in New Bern, right? When he got tipsy, he’d just throw an old chain across the tracks for shits and giggles. And that old little chain would stop all the train traffic in Coastal Carolina.”
Kie looked at him incredulously. “A chain?”
“He’s actually right,” Pope confirmed, “There’s a low voltage current that runs across all rail tracks. You throw a chain on it, you close that circuit. It would read as another train. Crossing lights come down. Science is actually pretty sound.”
JJ clapped his hands together and gave you a small nudge. “Science, babe. I knew my science.”
“Well, babe, we don’t have a chain,” You reminded him.
“No, but I bet Topper’s dad has jumper cables in the truck,” Sarah pointed out, “Would that work?”
Pope nodded as Topper started yelling from behind your group, remaining on the ground. “What’s going on? Are we doing this or not?”
“Alright, you all wait here. Me and Pope will go look for it and send a signal once we find it,” Cleo said.
Sarah glanced between the six of you with a smile on her face. “Do we actually have a plan right now?”
“Think we do.”
“For once in our lives.”
“Let’s not jinx it, come on.”
Pope and Cleo began to climb down off the train car to search further for the specific area you’d need. You, Kie, JJ, and Sarah remained in place and decided to sit until something came up. After a moment, you laid back against the cool material of the container you were on, grateful for the temperature.
“Has anyone heard from John B?” Kiara asked after a moment of waiting.
You groaned and rubbed your hands over your face before letting them flop by your sides. “Nope. Hasta la vista, JB.”
“He left a note at the Chateau that he was going with Big John, but hasn’t come back since,” JJ explained further as he leaned back against his hands. “I’m sure they’re fine wherever they’re at.”
Silence took over, all of you waiting eagerly for a sign from Cleo and Pope. Eventually, a flashlight hit your vision, all of you popping up to see Pope on the ladder, calling you over.
“That’s it!” JJ reached out a hand to pull you up just as a train horn blared.
“What’s happening?” Kiara asked as if you guys weren’t surrounded by trains that could take off at any moment.
You watched as Pope got shifted around before you realized it was the train you needed taking off. “Shit, it’s moving. We gotta go.”
The four of you clambered down the ladder as fast as possible and over to Topper’s truck. He looked extremely unamused by being dragged into this.
“Oh, hey Sarah.”
“Do you have jumper cables in there?” Sarah ignored his sarcasm and got straight to the point.
“Here I am involved in illegal activities-”
“Not that illegal.
“I’m not even close to being okay with this.”
Sarah cut him off by slamming the door shut. She had a set of cables in her hand and quickly handed them off to you. “Topper, if you don’t wanna go, it’s fine. We’ll take the truck.”
“Hey, I just wanna make sure everyone here is okay with ending up in federal prison,” Topper directed towards all of you.
JJ bit back a laugh and swung his leg over the seat of his bike, reaching his hand out to help you do the same. “Uh, if it gets to that, yeah. I’ll do it for Pope.” You gave him a soft smile and wrapped your arms around his torso, making sure the jumper cables weren’t at risk of falling.
You guys didn’t waste a second after that, JJ taking the lead while Kie, Sarah, and Topper followed in the truck. Usually, you weren’t a huge fan of JJ and the bike, but you’d grown used to it in the time you’d been together. Granted, he drove way safer with you on the back than when he was by himself, but still.
You winced as he took a corner a little too sharp, your grip tightening out of fear of falling. You didn’t go much further before JJ pulled off into a grassy patch next to the road that intersected with the tracks.
“This should be far enough.” You made it a whopping three steps before JJ tripped over nothing into the dirt below. He groaned and got back to his feet, sparing the glance to see you laughing at him. “I meant for that.”
You hummed, “Sure you did, babe. Let’s go.”
The plan was simple - use the jumper cables to reverse the charge so the train would have to stop, hopefully leaving enough time for you guys to unload the cross and get out of here. JJ connected one of the cables to the crossing lights before placing the other two on the tracks.
“Okay, now all you have to do is change the current,” He scrambled around to get everything in the right order. He was moving quickly, his brain processing faster than he thought it ever could
You looked behind you, the horn of the train getting louder by the second which didn’t help your nerves. “Please don’t get electrocuted.”
“Yeah, no promises with that.” He placed the red cable on first before clamping the black one next. The two of you looked up at the signal, anticipating the lights to change to red, but they continued to flicker green.
“Why isn’t it changing?”
“That’s literally what he would do. He would do it, and-and then it would change to red. Oh my god.” JJ started pacing in frustration as the train continued to near. “Think think think. Okay, what if I blockaded the track?”
“Jayj, no.” You crouched down by the cables, giving him a look. “How about moving the cable because the train touches both sides of the track, hmm?” You switched the red cable over to the other side before standing up. JJ’s fingers curled around your wrist in anticipation as you stared up at the crossing lights. They blinked green for another few seconds before switching to a solid red.
The two of you cheered at the color change, JJ reaching for a high five before pulling you into him for a hug. “You’re a genius.”
“Nope, it’s all you.” You kissed his cheek quickly before grabbing his hand and tugging for the two of you to duck by some nearby trees. “We gotta hide.”
It didn’t take long for the train’s brakes to kick in and start slowing down. JJ let out a small ‘yay’ once it finally stopped in front of you, hopefully giving Cleo and Pope a chance to climb off. The excitement was short-lived, however, when a service truck pulled up next to you on the main road.
“Shit, back up, back up.” JJ tugged the back of your shirt, moving the two of you further into the tree line so you weren’t in view. “This was not part of the plan!”
Two workers climbed out of the truck and started surveying the area for the possible cause. “What is this bullshit?” It didn’t take long for them to find the jumper cables attached to the tracks, both you and JJ mumbling curses when they did. They were quick to remove the cables so the crossing lights turned green.
“You’re all set over here. Some asshole put jumper cables on the tracks.”
You turned to JJ as the workers climbed back in the truck, fearful that they wouldn’t have made it. “You think that gave them enough time?” The answer to your question came in the form of the train honking that it would start moving again. “We gotta go get them.”
“There goes the plan, come on!” JJ offered his hand to get you off the ground, the two of you sprinting back to his bike. The engine kicked to life beneath you just as a familiar pickup truck came flying around the corner with a large crate in the back. “That’s Top. And that’s the cross. Get on!”
You didn’t hesitate to climb behind him, arms looped around his waist tightly before he took off behind your friends. The sound of police sirens followed not too long after, the blue lights eventually finding you before you would’ve liked.
“J!” You placed your forehead between his shoulder blades, suddenly terrified about what would come next. He was moving a little too fast for your liking, but you could tell he was trying to keep up with Topper.
“I know, I know!”
The bike moved faster beneath you, JJ guiding it to ride alongside Topper’s truck. You glanced over to see Cleo and Pope in the bed of the truck, staring right back at you. “What the hell are you doing?” Pope yelled at your boyfriend.
“Get ready to jump,” JJ yelled back at you, his eyes not leaving the road. “Top, keep going straight!”
“What?” You gaped at him, not that he could see you. Pope let out an expression of equal shock, the two of you in disbelief that JJ would actually suggest this. “Are you insane?”
“Probably,” Your boyfriend replied back, fully serious about what he was telling you to do. “Get ready to jump!”
Pope reached out towards you, Cleo right behind him as they leaned by the side of the truck bed. “Come on, come on. I’ve got you!”
You took a deep breath, slowly letting go of JJ’s waist to grab Pope’s outstretched hand. You did your best to keep JJ balanced while stepping off, your hand lingering on his shoulder until you rolled on top of the wooden crate the cross was in.
“JJ!” You screamed the second you got adjusted and watched him slow down to place himself between the truck and the oncoming cop car.
Cleo’s hand guided you into the gap between the crate and the back of Topper’s truck, all of them asking if you were okay. You barely answered, eyes trained on JJ’s form as he slammed on the brakes, using his momentum to pop a wheelie and change directions.
“What’s he gonna do?” Cleo looked at you as if you had the answer.
“I don’t know,” You choked out, “I don’t think he knows either.”
JJ moved forward slightly to pick something off the ground before gunning it full speed towards the cruiser.
“Topper!” You yelled as you watched JJ slam the rock into the cop’s windshield. The police didn’t hesitate to yank the car around to follow him instead. “We have to go back!”
“Stop the truck!” Pope and Cleo copied your idea, yelling into the small window that accessed the main cabin. You watched until you lost sight of JJ to the darkness of the night. Topper slowed down a second later. The pit in your stomach grew as he turned the truck around, racing back in the direction JJ was going in.
“Turn left!” Pope called out as a service road came up.
You could vaguely hear Sarah and Topper arguing before he listened to the change of direction. Your eyes caught sight of JJ on the road running parallel, the cops directly behind him. Your chest was aching as you watched, unable to look away no matter how much you wanted to.
Pope called out more directions for Topper, the noises turning blurry around you. Cleo’s hands latched on your shoulders, pulling you into her so you had someone to lean onto. You struggled to get air in your lungs with every inch of your body in panic mode.
You watched carefully as JJ pulled onto the overpass you were about to go under. There was a bright flash of light and the sound of a car horn before a loud screeching noise took over your senses. You could feel the truck slide beneath you, suddenly horizontal on the road.
You moved before your brain even had a chance to process what happened. “Pope, go!” Legs aching as you jumped from the tailgate, the first thing you noticed was JJ’s bike in a tangled mess just inches away from where Topper’s truck had stopped.
“JJ!” Your throat burned from the force of your scream as you tried to find any sign of him. There was busted concrete under your feet, but nothing that indicated he was even down here. “JJ, answer me! Where is he?”
Your friends descended into panic behind you, yelling out for your boyfriend. Sarah’s arms caught you the second you wavered, both of you hitting the ground harshly. You fought to get air into your lungs as you continued to look for JJ.
“Maybe he’s up on the bridge?”
“No, no, no,” You gasped for air, Sarah’s hands forcing you to put your head between your legs in an attempt to avoid you passing out. Tears burned in your eyes as you realized that was very much a crash he wouldn’t survive. “Fuck.”
The world blurred for a moment, your body numb as you tried to breathe through the panic attack. It was always so much worse when it involved JJ and any harm coming to him. You shifted, legs digging into the concrete below you as Sarah rubbed your back and tried to talk you through it.
“I wish I could say I did that on purpose, but that was the gnarliest powerslide I’ve ever done.”
The second you registered the voice behind you, air flooded your lungs as you coughed aggressively. Your head snapped up, Sarah moving to get on her feet as you turned, not trusting yourself to stand yet. God damn this boy for being so reckless.
Pope reacted first and slammed into JJ forcefully, “You’re alive!”
“Shit, that was gnarly!” Topper himself was even surprised at the sight he witnessed.
“That was trucking, dude,” JJ attempted to compliment the Kook back before he was getting attacked by Sarah Cameron’s hands against his chest. “Oh, Jesus. Oh, God.” She didn’t hesitate to bring him into a bone-crushing hug, chastising him for being so dangerous.
You stared up at your boyfriend, unable to move as you watched your friends rejoice at his presence. Moments like this were Earth-shattering to you and took a while to get through. You couldn’t brush off near-death experiences like you used to.
“As nice as these pleasantries are, we really need to move.”
Sarah reached over to you, hands pulling you off the ground to a shaky stance. JJ was there in a second, his hands replacing your best friend’s as he grasped your elbows to keep you steady. You stared right into his eyes, knowing your own were teary. You could’ve slapped him. “Don’t… don’t you ever do that again. You hear me?”
JJ pulled his lips in tightly and gave you a nod, knowing he had no room to argue. You collided with his chest a second later, a heavy sob finally making its way out as you clung to him. JJ let out a sigh, the adrenaline slowly seeping from his body as he held you against him.
“Hey! Hey, you kids, don’t move!”
JJ was grabbing your hand the split second a flashlight ran across the two of you, practically sprinting to the truck. He lifted you into the back seat next to Kiara before climbing into the bed of the truck with Pope, telling Topper to go.
You tucked your legs up onto the seat to curl into a ball, knowing the pressure was the only way to get your racing heart to calm down. Usually, this is where JJ would happily hug you senselessly, but you didn’t have time to resort to that.
“Hey, hey. You okay?” Kiara’s hand was cold on your leg, grounding.
You let a deep breath out between your lips, head leaning against the headrest as you forced a nod. “Yeah. Just gotta…gotta breathe through it.”
Sometimes it felt so silly to deal with your anxiety like this, like you were looking for constant attention and reassurance. Not that you could help it, but you wish it didn’t have to be this way. You wish losing your friends wasn’t such a big fear of yours, wasn’t a possible reality.
You filtered out the yelling that started between your friends and Topper. There was no doubt the cops were set to catch up to you. You didn’t really care how fast Topper was driving the truck, but evidently, everyone surrounding you did.
Suddenly, the vehicle hit a large bump in the road causing the wooden crate to fly from the back of the truck. Topper screeched to a stop just before everyone flew out of their various positions to check on it.
You opened your own door to meet them on the road as Pope tossed the top off to check on the cross. To your luck, it was filled with multiple tires full of concrete.
“What the hell?”
“It’s fake.”
Pope leaned down to inspect it. “It’s all freaking fake.”
“Pope, I’m so sorry,” Sarah apologized solemnly.
You sighed, knowing all of your efforts were in vain for the Heyward’s heirloom. The sound of police sirens started getting louder, which mean you needed to get back on the move.
“Y’all hear that? Okay, I can’t be here. My grandfather’s a judge.”
“Dog, would you relax?” JJ tried to get Topper to chill out. “They’re not gonna think some dude in flip-flops is part of a robbery.”
You took one last look, reassuring Pope that it would be okay before climbing back into Topper’s truck to get the hell out of there and go home.
--
You were exhausted by the time you guys got off the ferry. The group had practically pulled an all-nighter with the nonstop running and you were fully prepared to sleep the day away. Topper was kind enough to drop you all off at the Chateau, an awkward conversation forming between him and Sarah before you caught sight of the Twinkie in the yard.
“John B!” You took off running as your brother walked out of the screen door with a beer in hand. He very clearly didn’t expect you to come at him full speed and the drink almost slipped from his hands when you ran into him. “You’re okay.”
He stayed silent but returned the hug, making you look up at him. It was obvious to anyone that he looked exhausted. He shook his head and let you go. “You were right.”
You didn’t dare ask him to explain at the moment, not that it would’ve been possible since your father stepped out of the Chateau a second later. Your friends lost their shit, Pope and Kiara letting out bursts of excitement to see him. JJ even embraced him a second time, jumping on his back just like he would do when you guys were kids.
Everyone gave a quick recap of your time in Wilmington before John B explained the treasure hunt he went on with your dad to Charleston. “Yeah, yeah. So, we um, we went to the archives in Charleston, and, uh, it was a dead end. A dry hole. So.”
The tone of his voice was enough to tell you he was lying. You were sure your friends could pick up on it too, all of you knowing each other well enough to tell easily. Pope counted on his fingers. “So that’s the gold, the cross, and now El Dorado. We’re three for three, guys.”
You watched your dad give a subtle nod to your brother, Sarah catching it too as she glanced at him before her eyes moved to you. Why John B was lying to all of you, you had no idea. There was no doubt in your mind that it was your dad’s bidding, though.
Pope threw his beer can wildly, letting out a sarcastic cheer. “The streak continues. That’s great.”
Kie and Cleo were quick to follow him away from the house, calling out goodbyes as they passed. JJ was the next to get on his feet. “I’m going fishing. Thanks for the beer.”
You moved with him to stop him short of leaving. It would be a lie if you said you were comfortable with him walking away from you, especially with how the last few hours had been in terms of safety. “J, you sure you’re okay?”
You could tell he was forcing the smile on his face as he nodded. “I’m good, babe. Promise. Just wanna go clear my head for a few.”
“I’ll be here, okay? Come get me,” You didn’t specify for what, leaving the reason in the air. If he needed you, you’d be there, no matter what. JJ nodded and gave you a soft kiss before turning on his heels and walking away from you. “I love you!”
He paused in his exit to look back at you. “I love you more.”
JJ was one of those people who just needed space to process. You totally understood, giving it to him when he asked, but it always made you iffy that he was lying to himself. He shouldered a lot of your burden because you were comfortable sharing that with him. He wasn’t like that and dealt with it on his own. You always reminded him you would be happy to listen to anything he said, so the offer was always there.
Turning around, you could tell Sarah had the same hints about something being off based on the way she was speaking to John B. You let out a sigh and made your way inside to hopefully escape all the tension lingering. The screen door slammed a moment after you were inside. You turned to see your brother following you, his jaw clenched, whole body tense.
“Hey,” You whispered in case he didn’t want to talk about it. John B met you in the kitchen, leaning against the counter opposite you. “I’d ask if you’re okay, but I think I know the answer.”
“Um, we’re leaving, again.” You weren’t surprised by his words and merely nodded in return. What you didn’t expect was for your brother to step closer with shiny eyes full of tears. “What you heard out there, it was all a lie. We found the other piece to the idol. And-and Dad gave Limbrey some fake shroud so she could walk again, and I cannot keep lying to them, Y/N!” His voice cracked on your name. There was no point in saying that you saw this coming from a million miles away.
“It’s okay, JB.” You moved forward to pull him into a hug as he let out a few deep breaths. “Don’t worry about us. We’ll figure everything out. Just, be careful, okay?”
John B was quick to agree, recomposing himself before giving you a goodbye and leaving to get in the Twinkie. You were left with the mess on your hands, stuck in the middle of your brother and your friends, just hoping things could hold on a little longer until you could find a way to fix everything.
--
You kept to yourself the rest of the day, taking the time to catch up on some much-needed rest and attempting to clean up the house to the best of your ability. You knew at some point shit would hit the fan again so you didn’t mind the downtime on your hands. This felt normal to you - to be home by yourself with everyone out on their own adventures. This was how everything was before your dad went missing, before you were thrown headfirst into taking care of yourself and your brother.
Eventually, the silence got to be too much and you found yourself on the path to JJ’s house in hopes to find him there. Evidently, your brother had the same idea. The Twinkie was already in sight as you walked through the grass to where you caught a view of your brother and JJ. Your boyfriend was sitting on the rotting wooden steps that led up to the patio, John B standing near the driver’s door of the van.
They both looked at you once you were close enough that they could hear your footsteps. JJ let out a sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. He looked back at John B. “Does she know?”
You seemed to take everything in at that moment. Your dad was nowhere to be found and if you had a say, John B looked a little worse for wear. JJ patted the spot next to him so your brother would sit and hesitantly, John B did as he asked. You stood a few feet away from them as your boyfriend rubbed his face stressfully.
“I don’t know what to do, JJ.” John B’s voice was almost inaudible. “How the hell do we get to South America?”
“No clue…but, we’re gonna figure it out. We always do.” You watched the two of them lean on each other, JJ’s arm wrapping around your brother’s shoulder. This was the John B and JJ you’d grown up with; two dumbasses where nothing mattered at the end of the day so long as they had each other. Their friendship had been poked, prodded, and pulled at over these past few months but here they were, proving all your doubts wrong.
“So. Is someone gonna tell me what the hell is going on or am I just gonna have to figure it out for myself?”

ESPECIALLY if he saw the incident go down. i’m talking not leaving their hospital room for DAYS, or not letting them off the couch to get a glass of water. i’m such a sucker for angst with fluffy undertones (😔✌️) so id owe u my first born if u could write something like this!!! also 100% get it if u aren’t interested! ty SO much either way”
Word count: 2.4k
Warnings: car accident, injury tw
A/N: repost
Tumblr media
When Luke finally has a chance to check his phone, his heart sinks as soon as he sees the eleven missed calls. Eight are from his own mother, accompanied by a couple of voicemails. Two are from your mother and one is from a number Luke doesn’t even have saved in his contacts.
An instant feeling of dread settles within the depths of his stomach. His finger lingers over the play button of the voicemail his mom had left him, but he hesitates. Luke’s family knows he often couldn’t answer his phone when he’s away on a case. For them to call this many times meant something was wrong– horribly wrong.
He turns the corner, slipping into an empty room in the police precinct. As soon as he closes the door behind him, he’s pressing his phone to his ear.
Luke’s heart sinks even further when he hears his mother’s panicked voice over the phone. But it completely stops when he hears her say that there’s been a car accident.
Luke hangs up before the voicemail ends, rushing out of the room towards where he heard the voices of the rest of his team.
He barges into the conference room, clinging onto the door frame as he speaks hurriedly.
“Emily–” he stammers “I ha-have- I have to go–”
The rest of the team turns in their chairs to face Luke, but his desperate gaze is focused only on Emily and the permission he needs from her to leave the case.
“Luke,” she’s trying to remain calm for him. “What’s wrong?”
He runs his fingers through his tight curls frantically. “Y/N was in a car accident.” He doesn’t even recognize the sound of his own voice.
“What?”
“Oh my god!”
“Is she okay?”
JJ, Spencer, and Emily’s voices all overlap as they react to the news.
“My mom just said she’s in the hospital. She hadn’t heard anything yet.” Luke feels like he’s on autopilot while he speaks. He doesn’t even really know what he’s saying- he just knows he needs to go. Fast.
Of course Emily excuses him. She even insists that he takes the jet with promises that he’ll keep the team updated.
On the plane ride back home, Luke can’t stop thinking about that morning. Normally, Luke always kisses you goodbye and tells you he loves you. He’d almost call it a routine if he didn’t mean it so much. But that morning he’d been in a rush. All he could think about was where his stupid phone charger was. He remembers how frantically he had to search, barely acknowledging your attempts to say your affectionate goodbye. And he’d hurried out of the house without so much as a wave.
What if that was the last time he saw you? What if the last thing he ever did was disappoint you?
He remembers the sad look in your eyes as he left you alone in the kitchen, messy hair and tank top strap sliding slightly off your shoulder, he can’t get it out of his head.
And now it’s going to haunt him forever.
None of this was supposed to happen. He’s supposed to protect you– that’s his job. He’s supposed to protect you better than anyone else. He’s supposed to be able to keep you safe, always.
But he didn’t.
He feels sick.
It’s chaos when Luke finally arrives at the hospital and finds both his and your family in the waiting room on the floor he barely remembers his mom telling him to go to. He vaguely registers the presence of your parents in the hallway. He doesn’t even say hello.
Instead he asks, “Where is she? What’s going on?”
“We haven’t heard anything yet,” your mom says.
“What the hell happened?”
“Someone t-boned her at an intersection, right on the driver’s side. She’s in surgery now, doctor’s haven’t been able to update us much.” Your dad pulls your mother into his embrace, kissing the top of her head.
Luke shakes his head, like he couldn’t quite process what was happening.
You must have been so scared and he wasn’t there.
All he can picture is you, amidst the rubble of a car accident. How much pain you must have been in. The fear and panic you must have experienced.
And he wasn’t there.
He needs to see you.
Luke marches over to the nurses station without uttering another word to your parents or his mother. He puts his hands on the counter before speaking. “I need an update on a patient.” He tells the nurse your name.
“I’m sorry sir, she’s still in surgery. The doctor will come out and give you an update on her condition as soon as possible.”
Luke bites his lip. He wants to scream and yell and pound his fists. But instead he nods and uses what little energy he had left to let go of his anger. “Thanks,” he sighs in defeat.
He’s unaware of how much time passes, he’s too engulfed in his own thoughts, too preoccupied with punishing himself for not paying more attention to you this morning to keep track. The waiting room was eerily empty and quiet enough so that Luke could hear the faint humming coming from the fluorescent lights above. He chews on his nail roughly, trying not to focus on the silence.
When a woman in a pair of dark blue scrubs walks down the hallway peeling off a pair of latex gloves, Luke instantly snaps out of his trance and stands up.
The doctor holds her hand out to shake and introduces herself to Luke and your parents.
“I’m so sorry to keep you waiting,” she says. She turns to face Luke. “I want you to know that your wife, Y/N, is alive. She’s alive.”
There’s a moment where everyone lets out a sigh of relief before continuing to listen to what the doctor has to say.
“Y/N came into the ER bleeding and with a broken collar bone, a fractured arm, and a couple of broken ribs. But my biggest concern was the swelling in her brain.”
Luke is barely processing what the doctor is saying. Imagining you in such a state is almost unbearable, but he keeps quiet and continues listening.
“We were able to relieve some of the swelling in her skull, which should take the pressure off of her brain. It was touch and go for a while there- the damage was,” she pauses for a moment before finishing her thought, “extensive.”
“Is she going to be alright?” Your mom asks the question everyone is wondering.
“We’ll need to monitor her levels overnight. But I would say the worst part is behind us. She’s a fighter.”
“Can we see her?” Luke asks.
The doctor nods.
It takes a minute to realize that it’s even you lying in that bed. You’re hooked up to all these machines that are beeping so loudly, and there’s IV’s and cords hanging over you. A wave of nausea hits Luke again, the realization of how hurt you are. His girl. His beautiful, perfect, broken girl.
He sinks into the chair at your bedside, hands shaking when he sees the bandage wrapped around your head. You look so pale and so weak.
He can’t stop staring at your face, willing you to open your eyes and just look at him.
He should have protected his girl.
He scoots the chair forward, reaching out a trembling hand to clasp yours. His fingertips graze your knuckle. Skin that was once smooth is now littered with cuts and bruises.
Gently cradling your fingers in his, it’s only when the tears hit his arm that he even realizes he’s crying. He kisses your knuckles softly, resting his forehead against your hand.
The thought of you needing him made his insides ache with guilt. You needed him and he wasn’t there. He clutches your hand tightly and prays to whatever God might be out there. Let her wake up, he pleads. Please, let her wake up and I promise I’ll never not be there again.
It’s been less than a week since you were released from the hospital and you’re ready to murder Luke.
At first all his doting attention was kind of sweet. You loved that he had taken some time off to care for you. He was being a loving, attentive boyfriend, taking care of his poor, injured girlfriend.
You know that deep down it’s because he feels guilty. You had already assured Luke over and over again that you in no way blamed him for what happened. How the hell was he supposed to protect you from a car accident when he was eight hundred miles away?
But that did little to amuse Luke.
You really are doing much better. Sure it was a long road of recovery in the hospital. You’d seen physical therapists and occupational therapists and nurses and doctors and everything in between every day for weeks. And yes, your arm is still in a cast, and it still hurts your ribs when you laugh. But every day you’re gaining more and more independence. Or at least you’re trying to. But Luke won’t let you.
You try to be patient with him, but the patience is wearing thin. No matter how many times you tell him nicely; he just doesn’t seem to get it.
This morning he had waited on the lid of the toilet seat while you showered, asking if you needed help or if you were okay approximately one thousand times.
When you were done, he handed you your towel. By the time you’d wiped your body dry, you noticed that your hair dryer and products were all laid out on top of the counter, as opposed to its usual spot underneath the sink.
“Let me get that for you,” he says at breakfast, and with a quick reach, the box of cereal you had been reaching for is pulled down by Luke. He hands it over to you with a smile.
Muttering a soft, “Thanks,” you turn to reach for your empty bowl, which has been supplied by, drumroll and you guessed it… Luke.
After pouring in the dry cereal, you turn to go to the fridge, only to be met by his smiling face again. Only this time, he’s holding the milk.
Wordlessly taking the milk, you make your way back to the cereal, pouring a little in. You don’t fail to notice his arm shoot out and grab the milk to put it away. Maybe once you have your breakfast, you can try and talk to him about hovering. You’re always a little crankier when you’re hungry. And the last thing you want to do is start a fight, Luke is just trying to help after all. Closing your eyes, you take a steadying breath.
Clink. A cup of coffee hits the countertop next to you.
Thud. The creamer is placed directly beside it.
Clatter. And there’s the spoon.
Damn it, you think.
“Luke, I can’t take this!!” you cry out, turning to face him, he freezes in the middle of opening the creamer for you. “I can’t breathe with you hovering over me like this. You do everything for me! You get my clothes and my shoes, you fetch the remote, you make my food. How the hell am I ever supposed to get better if you just make me feel so helpless? I just can’t do it Luke. I can’t.”
You exhale a sharp breath.
Luke’s lack of a response makes you even more angry, so you keep going. “I know I may appear like this helpless damsel in distress. But despite what you may believe, I can actually take care of myself! I can survive without you hovering over me!”
“But you almost didn’t,” Luke whispers. He hangs his head, his gaze fixating on the floor.
All the anger you felt immediately exits your body. In fact, you wonder why the hell you were even mad in the first place. You take a cautious step towards him, and sigh.
“Luke,” you whisper.
He refuses to look at you. It makes your heart ache. You hadn’t realized how much he was hurting over this. You just thought he was being overprotective and overbearing. But of course the guilt has still been consuming him.
“I need you to hear this, okay? I need you to look at me when I say this to you,” you take his hand in yours.
“Luke, look at me,” you urge.
He turns, his eyes glistening with tears. “I’m here. I’m right here.”
Luke isn’t the one who breaks. He is usually the one comforting you. And yet here you are– roles reversed for the first time.. His hand squeezes yours gently while he takes a deep breath.
It takes him a moment, but he nods.
“Baby,” you mumble, “I’m okay. I’m here and I’m okay,”
“You don’t understand,” he says, shaking his head. “You didn’t see– you weren’t there– you didn’t see what I saw. Fuck, Y/N. I’ve never been so scared in my life. I thought- I mean- you were hooked up to all those machines- and you had all these cuts and bruises. You were all bandaged up. Christ, they had to drill a hole into your head! It’s my job to protect you, to take care of you, and I didn’t. I wasn’t there-.”
You launch yourself into him then, your good arm wrapping around his torso and clinging to him tightly. He’s quick to hug you back, anchoring you to him.
“I thought I’d lost you,” he says, his head resting on top of yours.
“You didn’t,” you reassure him, shaking your head against his chest.
“I know,” he finally whispers. “And I am so, so thankful for that.”
You pull back from your hug, holding Luke out in front of you. “Baby, I love you.” You tell him.  “I love you so much and I am so grateful that you’ve been so supportive and helpful during all of this.  But if you don’t stop, I might have to kill you,” your face breaks out into a grin.
Luke laughs at that. “I don’t like it, but… okay,” he nods in affirmation.
“Okay?” you ask skeptically. “That means no more having every single meal, snack, and drink waiting for me. No more sitting outside when I’m in the shower. And no more hands on my back when I go down the stairs.”
Luke huffs.
“Oh, and no more having my clothes picked out for me either.”
Luke raises an eyebrow. “No more feet or backrubs?” he asks cheekily.
Your eyes widen and you instantly begin to regret your little tantrum. “Baby steps, Alvez. I’m not completely healed yet.”

'BLIND' - C.S
Tumblr media
| 'WILL YOU?' |
Synopsis - They're so in love with each other, they're oblivious.
Warnings! - Profanity, Y/N being head over heels for Chris (honestly girl me too), they both blind asf, the triplets are in Boston Y/N is in LA still, I think that's all.
A/N - This is basically an apology for my last fic. I am so deeply sorry for those I made cry, here's something to cheer you up. 😋😘😘 Also I'm going to start putting the animal they chose for tour 2 next to the name bc I think it's cool.
Tumblr media
This is so difficult. Who knew having a crush on your best friend would be so draining?
The guys just left for the airport and let me stay in their house while they're in Boston for the week. Should be easy, right? I mean I already crash here like almost every day. But being in a place that has essence of Chris, everywhere, makes it kind of hard to breathe.
I'm barely half an hour into Corpse Bride, the movie I put on when they left, when I get a notification from snapchat.
And for some reason, I find myself smiling as I open it. It's from Chris. A picture of him, hood pulled up and headphones over his ears with a little smile on his face. The words 'miss u already' at the bottom.
I save it to my camera roll. I mean, he just looks so good. Like all the time. How can I not? I send one back with a 'miss u 2' with a kiss emoji, as a joke, but not at the same time.
I focus back to Corpse Bride and get comfy on the couch.
----
I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at some point during the movie, because when I wake up, the movie is over and it's dark out now, unlike it was when the triplets left.
I walk to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water and sit back down on the couch. I pick up my phone and see multiple messages, snaps, and Instagram notifications from Chris. At first, I think something's wrong. But instead, it's just him updating where they are in their flight process, some funny shit Nick did, and multiple pictures of him, all of which I save.
The most recent one was a text saying he was going to try and get some sleep with the words 'I love you' at the end with a white heart and the kiss face emoji.
Now when I say I got butterflies and felt my face heat up, I mean I got BUTTERFLIES. How is he real?
I look at the time, it's 12:48, and see I was actually asleep for a few hours instead of just one. I turn the TV off and walk down to Chris's room. It's almost as if being in his room sent a universal message to him, my phone rings from my hand as I get comfy in his comforter.
A facetime call. I answer and is greeted by a smiling Chris.
"Hi."
"Hi."
"How's your flight been so far? You get some sleep?"
"Yeah, I got a little bit. But then some little girl started throwing a tantrum and woke me up."
A quiet chuckle makes its way out of me.
"Damn that sucks."
"What've you been up to?"
"I watched Corpse Bride, or well it watched me because I fell asleep."
This time he chuckles, and it sounds so, angelic to me. Especially in his sleepy voice.
"How close are you guys to Boston?"
"3 hours away."
"That's good."
We sit in silence for a few minutes, I scroll through Instagram, occasionally looking at Chris's face in the corner of my screen.
"You in my room?"
For some reason the question sent a new wave of butterflies in my chest. I nod.
"Yeah. I can't seem to get comfortable on the couch."
I'm not sure if what I said made him happy or if he saw something funny, either way, a smile is now on his face.
We spend the next like, hour on facetime, joking, talking, and just sometimes sitting in silence. Until I fall asleep.
----
I wake up the next morning, phone in front of me and still on, with Chris still on facetime.
By the looks of it, he's in the van with Matt, and they're talking but I can't hear it. So, he must be on mute.
I yawn and stretch before picking up my phone to see the time. 11:23. Meaning it's 2:23 in Boston.
I get out of Chris's bed and grab my phone, which I don't remember plugging in but is plugged into the charger and walk upstairs to make whatever they have in their cabinets.
Chris, having heard me moving-and-a-grooving, making a whole lot of noise going through the cabinets, seemingly unmutes and speaks.
"Good morning." I look at my phone with a smile as he turns the camera to Matt who says the same thing.
"Good morning to you two as well."
I go back to rummaging through the cabinets.
"Where did Nick hide the cereal? I can't find it."
"Cabinet above the stove, hidden behind the boxes of rice."
"Thank you, Matt."
I open the cabinet and move the rice boxes out of the way and, alas, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I grab the box and grab a bowl and pour some in before returning it to its original spot and then pouring some milk in and grabbing a spoon.
I sit at the table at begin to eat, while scrolling through Instagram, duh. I open Chris's story to a screenshot of me, asleep. I laugh and shake my head.
"What're you laughing at?"
"Why do I look so weird when I sleep?" I laugh out as I drop my phone on the table and lean my head in my hands.
"Oh. You saw that. You don't look weird; I think you look quite good to be honest."
My jaw falls open and I pick my phone up to see a small smirk on Chris's face.
I quickly shut my mouth and roll my eyes.
"What? All I said was that you looked good while you were sleeping. Wait- no that sounds weird."
"Yeah, very weird Chris." I hear Matt say.
I snort and finish my breakfast at the same time Matt pulls into the driveway of their house,
"How long you guys been home?"
"About 11-ish hours or so."
"You guys gotten any rest?"
"Chris went to sleep as soon as he reached his room."
"Matt! Don't expose me like that!"
I laugh at both the fact Matt said and Chris not denying it.
"Is that Y/N?" I gasp at the sound of Marylou's voice and Chris moves to his mom and shows her his phone screen. I wave with a big smile.
"Hi Marylou! Miss you!"
"Miss ya too honey!" I love her accent, it's so calming.
----
After about another hour of talking with Chris, Matt, and occasionally, Nick, we hung up and I turned on the triplets YouTube channel, even though I've seen all of their videos already, just to pass time.
It's so weird being here alone. And I'll be here alone for like the next week and a half.
Then, I get a though. What if I hid little things around Chris's room for him to find? But what would I even do?
Without thinking, I walk up to Nick's room and grab some paper and head back downstairs. I sit at the table and make paper origami hearts of all sizes, off of pure memory.
Once I've made at least 20 of them, I grab them and walk down to Chris's room and start hiding them in both plain sight and put some of the bigger ones in hidden places.
But there's a twist. Inside all of the hearts contain little messages and the biggest one has a confession on it. Don't know what came over me to write that but I did. And now I have to wait a week and a half for him to get home and find them.

It was dark in the house as you suspected once you stepped in and closed the front door softly behind you. You made your way over to the stairs and once you began to climb them and the closer you got to the top, you were able to hear Jack’s soft snores indicating that he was asleep.
His bedroom door was open and you saw him sprawled out on the king sized bed and couldn’t help but to have your breathing increase as you fully made your way into the bedroom. You walked over to the nightstand attempting to set down your phone next to his in order to be able to put it on the charger while his phone went off indicating a text from "Baby" and your eyes went wide before they immediately started to water. Curiosity got the best of you so your eyes peered down to see what the message said.
Baby- So excited for the show! Can't wait to see you! Love you 💕
He had some fucking nerve
You wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but from the outside looking in it seemed as if he had moved on already and didn’t want to have anything to do with you.
Doubts were now creeping into your mind and the last thing you were going to do is be played like a fool.
Or were you jumping to conclusions?
But why in the world would he put someone’s name as ‘baby’ in his phone if it wasn’t something serious happening between the two of them?
What if he simply told you that he wanted to still be with you and go about it in the right way just for him to keep you close to him for his own benefit?
You were now in a panicked state and quickly grabbed your phone that was placed next to his and turned around to make your way back down the steps and out the door.
The thought occurred to you that you were still in possession of the house key that he gave you and it should’ve been left there right next to his phone along with a note, but at this point that was more than he even deserved.
You opened up your heart to someone who you believed would take care of it, when he had done the complete opposite and had hurt you in the process. However, he wasn’t the only one completely at fault. From the beginning you did know what the expectations of the relationship were, you just didn’t anticipate falling in love with him at the same time.
The tears that you had been trying to hold in were now cascading down your cheeks at an uncontrollable speed as you got in your rental car, and you were trying your best to regulate your breathing in the hopes of not sending yourself into a panic attack. Now would be the perfect time to use your inhaler, but for some reason you didn’t have the slightest clue where it was.
"I can't do this." You quietly spoke to yourself as you pressed the push start and began making your way to the 21C/Delta hotel.
But in the back of your mind, you already knew that it was only a matter of time before Jack found out where you were.
NPLH came and went and even though you had told Jack that Alicia would be bringing the outfits for him to wear, he still couldn't help but to still have a sliver of hope that it would be you instead.
That night he sent you a text to thank you not knowing that you were in fact in Louisville and scared shitless of running into him. You would have to stay a few more days to close some business deals and then you would be heading back home leaving Louisville as well as Jack behind you. Hopefully for good, but truth be told, you were doing a bad job of convincing yourself that that happening would ever become a reality.
You obviously knew that he was going to come look for you if you kept ignoring him, but you decided to deal with those consequences later when the time came not wanting to give yourself a headache making up fake scenarios in your head.
Meanwhile, Jack was at home simply relaxing by himself when something told him to check his security cameras and when he did, he had to do a double take when he spotted you on it.
Three days ago.
December 17th, 2022
Jack kept rewatching the footage over and over and couldn't wrap his mind around as to why you came and suddenly left without even saying one word to him. Granted, he was sleeping, but still.
You had been in the house for less than ten minutes before the footage showed you leaving back out.
He deserved an explanation as to why you did what you did and immediately picked up his phone to call you but became frustrated when you didn’t answer, the next thing he did was blow up your phone with multiple text messages.
Jack- Babe, I know you’re in Louisville or at least you were
Jack- Why did you suddenly just come to the house and leave?
Jack- Did something happen?
Jack- Baby girl answer me. I need to know if you’re okay. I can see that you’re reading the texts.
It’s true that you were reading his texts, but you had no idea what to say to him and quite frankly you didn’t feel like dealing with him at the moment because once again you felt that he was playing with your feelings just like he had done before. You had to focus on closing this deal and would worry about Jack later.
You got dressed quickly and made your way to the restaurant where you would meet one of your clients and were thankful for the table being in the back and being secluded in the corner. Your client’s name was Javier and he represented Versace and they reached out to you in the hopes of collaborating so of course you jumped at the opportunity. You were thankful and grateful that your fashion was starting to be recognized all over the world. You explained to him how you were in Louisville and he immediately flew out to meet you.
Everything had been going well as you and Javier were about to get ready to go your separate ways until you were interrupted by the very last person that you wanted to see.
“Oh, so you can’t answer my texts and my calls but yet you can go on dates with other men? Does he know that you were at my house at 3 am the other night?” Jack said and your eyes immediately went wide as Javier simply looked around confused.
“Jackman, not now. We’ll talk about it later.”
“When is later? Because it seems as if you’ve been dodging me left and right. I admit that I deserve you wanting space from me, but I promise you that it's going to be different. Do you not want to be with me anymore?”
“Will you stop making a fucking scene and shut the hell up? I said that we’ll talk about it later.” You said through gritted teeth as people were starting to stare.
“So, you honestly thought that you could come to Louisville and you could dodge me? Seriously?”
“I will come to your house when I am done, now please leave.” You said fighting back tears of pure anger. If Jack had caused you to lose this deal, you couldn’t even begin to think about what would happen between the two of you.
“Don’t take too long.” Was all Jack said before leaving the table and you then turned back to Javier and started apologizing profusely.
“I am so sorry about him.”
“Who knew Jack Harlow was a jealous ex?” He said as he let out a small laugh.
“If I can even call him that.”
“I know we just met, but can I give you some advice?” Javier asked you and you felt like at this point that you honestly had nothing to lose.
“Sure, I’m all ears.”
“Look, he definitely did not go about that in the right way, however, just simply looking at his demeanor, he has it bad for you and you have it bad for him. I could simply tell by the body language. Now he didn’t have to put on a show, but if I were you I would go and talk to him and see what he wants.”
“I just don’t want to open up my heart and get hurt again because I think… no I know that my heart won't be able to take it. I love him with my entire being, and he promised me that things would be different this time around, but I don’t know if I believe him.”
“Sometimes, we just have to take a leap of faith and see what happens. But you’re never going to know unless you try, right?”
After you finished dinner with Javier, you found your way to the highway in order to go into the direction of Jack’s house. You weren’t even sure what you were expecting at this point, but he for damn sure owed you an apology for the scene that he caused earlier in the restaurant. The music was on a low volume as you drummed your fingers against the steering wheel to the beat. You had finally pulled onto his street and as you were pulling up to Jack’s house, you saw him standing in the driveway hugging someone with a much smaller frame and you could only assume that it was a woman. You saw him place a kiss on her cheek and all you could think was that this was the person who had been texting him the other night.
So, he made a scene for what?
Without making it obvious, you were able to turn the car around to head back towards your hotel and simply shook your head. At this point did he even deserve for you to hear him out?
Jack was in the driveway of his house greeting his mother while he was waiting for you to show up and of course she was teasing him about you. All it took was for him to tell her that you were in Louisville and she came right over, not having seen you in a few months.
"Do we have a wedding date yet?" She curiously asked while looking up at him.
"Mom! Well, I have to get her to forgive me first." He muttered and Maggie immediately gave him a look.
"Forgive you for what!? What did you do to my daughter?" Maggie asked before finally pulling away from Jack. She was just as excited to see you as he was.
"It's moreso what I didn't do."
"Jackman, you better not let her get away." All Jack simply did was sigh and scratch the back of his neck because truth be told at this point he didn't know what was happening between the two of you. He also bet his outburst when he saw you out with another man didn't help either.
“All I can do is hope that she wants to talk to me.”
Jack had now been waiting for you for close to two hours and was growing not only frustrated, but worried as well.
What if you were seriously done with him?
He didn’t know if he could take the thought of that.
Maggie still had a few errands to run and last minute gift shopping to do so she told Jack whenever you showed up to let her know and that she would make her way back over.
The last thing Jack wanted to do was blow up your phone, but at this point he needed an answer for his peace of mind.
He needed to know if you would be willing to move past this or simply move on from him so he could attempt to start his healing process no matter how much he knew that it was going to hurt.
Jack- Baby, it’s been close to two hours, are you on your way?
Jack- I’m sorry for my outburst earlier, that was uncalled for. I just care about you so much and I cannot deal with the thought of possibly losing you if I haven’t already
Jack- I understand your hesitations because of what happened before, but I will continue to tell you and eventually show you if you give me the chance how things are going to be different this time around
Jack- If anything, I just want to talk to you face to face and then whatever you decide, I’ll respect it
You- I’ll be there in thirty minutes
Curiosity had gotten the best of you and after you had gone back to your hotel and taken a quick shower and got comfortable in bed with Netflix, the texts from Jack started coming in. You kept reading them over and over again having an internal battle with yourself on what you should do.
One, go and see him and get closure. It’s was up to you to decide if you wanted to give him a second chance or not
Two, completely ignore him and fly back home and block him on every possible social media site and include blocking his number
Number two would probably end up with him sending the FBI to come and find you, so you were thinking that going with the first one was the better option. Besides, you could always say no.
But those blue eyes pulled you in every damn time and knew in your heart of hearts that more than likely, you weren’t going to tell him no.
With a deep sigh, you began to get dressed, not noticing that you in fact had pulled on one of Jack’s hoodies that you seemed to be traveling with wherever you went along with a pair of your leggings and New Balance 550’s. You were currently rocking a straight bundle sew-in and took it out of the braids you had it in and lightly brushed through it making it look presentable.
You grabbed your phone along with the keys to the rental car and made your way downstairs to the parking garage.
The car ride to Jack’s house was silent as you tried to go over your thoughts on what you were going to say to him when you actually did see him.
But was it bad that the main thing you wanted to do when you saw him was hug him and never let go?
You were now putting the car in park in front of his house and reached into your bag in order to get the key to open the door.
This was either going to end with you giving him back the key or keeping it for the long run.
A deep sigh was let out before you got out of the car and made your way to the front door. At this point, it was close to midnight, but you could see that Jack’s living room light was on indicating that he had been waiting for you.
Jack heard the key turning in the door and his breath immediately hitched in his throat. He got up from the couch in order to make his way over to the foyer in order to greet you properly. When you finally stepped in the house and the two of you locked eyes, Jack immediately wanted to pull you into a hug, but he was hesitant remembering his outburst from earlier. He wanted you to initiate it first.
“Hi.” Was all you quietly said and Jack gave you a small smile.
“Hi.”
You were hesitant as you walked closer to him, but found yourself wrapping your arms around his waist and him pulling you into the hug tighter and kissing the top of your head.
Jack’s sigh of relief could be heard as he felt you relax in his arms.
This was the moment that he had been waiting to have for months.
Once the two of you finally broke apart, Jack held onto your hand to lead the two of you to the couch and broke the silence.
“Why’d you come here and then leave?” Jack quietly asked while playing with one of your rings that graced your finger.
“Because I saw something that made me think that you weren’t being serious about what you had told me.” You responded while shrugging.
“And what was it?”
“Who do you have in your phone with the contact name ‘Baby’?”
“Wait, what? That’s why you left?”
“Answer my question. I saw where they had sent you a text and it was saying how they loved you and they couldn’t wait to see you at your show so I thought that you were done with me.”
“Sweetheart, will you please look at me?” Jack asked and when you finally did all he did was simply smile at you.
“Baby is my cousin Britney. That’s what we all call her. I had actually told her about you too and she’s been excited to meet you whenever that time comes or if it does for that matter.”
“Oh.”
Now you felt silly.
“I was serious when I said that I was all in and wanted to be with you and only you and if you gave me another chance, it wouldn’t be like it was before. Came entirely too close to losing you before, and in a way I did lose you but, I wasn’t going to let that happen a second time. I was dead serious when I said that I wanted to marry you.”
“I wanted to surprise you and be at your show since I had left Dubai early, but when I saw that flash across your phone I honestly didn’t know what to think. So me being me, I panicked and I left.”
“And hid out in Louisville knowing that someone was bound to see you and tell me?” Jack questioned and you just shrugged.
“Not the brightest idea, but I just didn’t know what to do and had to get my thoughts together first. Besides, it was already too late since I had told Javier that this was where I was.”
“And who was that dude that I saw you with?! Javier?!”
“Why? Are you jealous?” You asked while raising your eyebrows and all Jack did was roll his eyes.
“Yes, and I can admit it. He was entirely too close to my girl for my liking.”
“He works for Versace.”
“Oh.”
Now it was Jack’s turn to feel silly.
“Mmm hmm.”
“Did I….?”
“No, you didn’t mess anything up for me even though you did piss me off.”
“I apologize for that. I just thought she’s not answering my calls or texts so I need to ask her and get this over with.”
“And who were you hugging in your driveway? Because I most definitely did leave the restaurant and come here just like I said I was but…”
“Seriously? That was my mom! She was actually waiting to see you!”
“Damn, now I have to go and see her before I leave. So, all of this could have been avoided this entire time?” You quietly asked and Jack simply nodded.
“If only we had just talked to each other.”
“Okay, from this point forward, if we have a question about anything concerning one another, we simply ask, deal?”
“Deal. That caused me a whole lot of unnecessary stress. I really thought that something had happened when it showed you leaving so fast. I was seriously panicking.” Jack said being completely honest with you and you simply nodded instantly feeling bad.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for you….”
“It’s over and done with now. But, you still haven’t given me an answer. I’ve done what you asked and I’ve been patient and gave you your space. I want to eventually be able to change your last name.”
"And thank you for doing that. I definitely needed it." This was the moment that Jack had been waiting for and no matter what answer you gave him, he was going to be at peace with it even if it took him a long time to do so.
"You know I'll do anything for you. That's a given. That’s been known since day one."
All you did was sigh before opening your mouth to speak again and this time you felt tears brimming at the corners of your eyes but quickly wiped them away hoping that Jack didn’t see them.
"Jack, are you all in? And I mean it. Be serious because I… if this ends badly…."
"Okay, first let me stop you right there. It's not going to end badly and it's not about to end at all. You have to trust me to take care of your heart and I have to trust you to take care of mine. You already know that I love you and I'm going to show you that every single day. I'm sorry that it took me so long to admit it outloud. There’s no excuse for that."
"Okay." You quietly said while looking back down and playing with your ring that Jack had been playing with earlier.
“Okay, as in we’re doing this and you forgive me?”
“Yes, I’ve had enough time to think about it and I deserve to be happy. You just happen to be one of those things that bring me happiness.”
"I missed you so much and you don't even know how big of a relief it is to hear you say that." Jack said while sliding you onto his lap and attempting to kiss your cheek. You had turned your head so that he caught you in a full blown kiss and you eagerly kissed him back.
"I missed you too." You replied as the two of you finally broke apart and your head went to rest on his shoulder.
"How about you let me show you how much I missed you?" Jack whispered in your ear as you eagerly nodded and moved off of his lap so that the both of you could stand up.
He placed your hand with his and both of you began to make your way up the long staircase. When you finally reached his room, you were suddenly hesitant and had no idea why, or was it just simply nerves seeing as the two of you hadn't been together like this in months.
You began to slip off your shoes, but hearing Jack's voice made you stop.
"Come here for a second."
You followed him to his walk-in closet to see that only one side of it contained his clothes and shoes while the other side contained yours and even outfits that you had never seen before indicating that he had bought them for you.
"You…."
"I figured that I would have this waiting for you once you came back. I meant what I said."
You proceeded to slip off your shoes and set them next to the other New Balances that were gracing the shelf before turning back to Jack.
"That's fine, but this hoodie is going on my side of the closet."
Jack let out a small laugh before pulling you closer to lean down and kiss you.
"But for now, it's going on the floor."
Jack took the bottom of the hoodie in his hands to begin to get you out of it and as promised threw it on the floor along with your shirt which left your top half bare and exposed to him.
"I need you on the bed… now."
You smirked and followed directions and as you were making your way back to the bedroom, you suddenly stopped and took this as an opportunity to slide your leggings off leaving you completely bare in front of him. You couldn't see the look on his face since you were now crawling to the top of the bed. It was only when you finally made yourself comfortable and turned around to see that Jack too had lost all of his clothes and was simply stroking himself as he peered down at you.
"Literally a sight that I never get tired of seeing."
You crawled over to him in an attempt for you to take him in your mouth, but he gently pushed you back and shook his head no.
"Not right now, baby. It's all about you. Lay back for me."
Once you made yourself comfortable again, Jack hovered over top of you and placed a soft kiss to your lips before moving down to your neck and beginning to leave hickies all across your chest. He took one of your nipples in his mouth while beginning to roll the other one between his fingers and you couldn’t help but to let out a small moan.
A few minutes had passed by before he switched to the other one, but you were aching to feel his tongue elsewhere. However, you wanted for him to take his time and come through on the promise of showing you how much he missed you.
While still giving attention to the right nipple, he reached down to insert his fingers into you. As his fingers began to move back and forth out of you, he sucked on your nipple harder wanting you to reach your peak faster.
Jack heard your soft whimpers and knew that you were close, but he didn't like how you were holding back.
"Come on my sweet baby, let me hear you. I wanna know how good I'm making you feel." Jack said before placing his mouth back on your chest and you quickly granted him his wish.
"Mmm, babe. Right there, fuckkk!"
Not even two minutes later, you hit your peak and as Jack slid his fingers out of you, he immediately placed them in his mouth.
"Shit, I forgot how good you taste. What do you want me to do next, baby?"
"You already know what I want." You said in response and he simply smirked.
"Use your words and tell me where you want me."
"Underneath me so I can ride your face." You quietly said and Jack bit his lip before nodding at you.
"My favorite meal. Come on then."
You moved to the side as Jack went to lay down and motioned for you to sit above his face. Once you were in a comfortable position, Jack simply held onto your thighs to keep you in place and quickly dove into your folds but not before placing kisses along both of them.
You reached up to hold onto the headboard as you quickly sped up your pace and Jack quickly began to bring all of his attention to your clit.
Jack hearing your moans continued his motions as you began to play with your nipples.
"Baby, I'm… fuck…."
All Jack did was nod and hold onto you even tighter if that was possible in order to keep you still as he brought you to an orgasm for the second time that night.
As you rode out your high, Jack didn't stop his motions making your legs grow weak and didn't until you were softly pleading for mercy.
"Jack, baby I can't."
"Yes you can. You've been without me for how many months? We're not leaving this bed all week and I'm just getting started."
Once Jack finally released his hold on you, you swung your legs over to the left side so that you were laying next to him when he rolled on top of you.
He peered down at you and you began to grow shy under his gaze and all he simply did was lean down to kiss you.
"I love you so much. You know that?"
You quickly nodded before giving him a response and all you could do was smile.
"And I love you too." You whispered back as the two of your noses were touching and you let out a gasp when you noticed Jack had slipped into you.
"Relax for me, baby. Fuck you feel so good around me."
In the time that you had been away from each other, neither of you could bring yourself to be with anyone else.
"I got you, I got you." Jack said as he placed kisses all over your body and felt you slowly becoming at ease.
Jack finally felt your body relax and the two of you got into a comfortable rhythm and it seriously dawned on you how much you missed him.
Not just the sex part, but him as a whole.
Your arms wrapped around his neck to bring him closer as his thrusts began to get faster, but by placing your hand on his chest let him know to slow it back down.
You wanted to take every moment of this in.
It wasn't long before the two of you hit your peak with Jack collapsing on top of you on your chest as your fingers played in his curls.
The two of you were quiet before Jack finally spoke.
"Thank you."
"For what, babe?"
"Giving me a chance to prove that I deserve being able to call you my girlfriend."
Over the next day and a half since it was the week of Christmas, and every year you switched off from spending it with Jack in Kentucky and spending it at home with your parents. This year was Jack’s turn, but wanting to drop your parents gifts off to them, you flew home for a day on December 22 and returned December 23. The two of you were currently in the living room wrapping gifts and Jack was so focused on wrapping something for Clay, but it wasn’t going very well when you decided to intervene.
“Umm, babe, do you need some help over there?” You asked and Jack suddenly looked startled as he turned towards you before answering.
“I think I got it.”
“Baby, you’re going to use up all the tape we have. Here let me help.” You then went over to sit next to him and took the gift that he was wrapping from his hands and started over with a fresh sheet of wrapping paper. In a matter of two minutes you were finished and set the gift aside.
“What else do you have to wrap so I can help?”
“Your gifts so you definitely aren’t helping with that. No sneak peeks.”
“Can I at least know how many there are?” You curiously asked knowing that Jack was probably going to tell you no.
“Let’s just say that while on tour, I went a little overboard and whenever I saw something that I knew you would like, I bought it. I just didn’t know what I was going to do with them if you decided not to forgive me. More than likely I would have given them to you anyway.”
“Umm, you went to a lot of places this year.”
“I know and I hope you like everything that I got for you.”
“Jack, you have literally bought me a car, you didn’t have to get me anything else.”
“Yes I did! We’re official now so expect even more gifts than before. I’ll just wait for you to go to sleep so I can wrap them or…. Attempt to that is. I bought you a car, so next is probably a yacht?”
“Jackman! Absolutely NOT!”
“I’m going to pretend that you just told me yes. Or your wedding ring for that matter is probably next.”
Jack just said it so casually when your heart was literally skipping beats and increased in pace. When you didn’t say anything, he simply looked at you and smirked.
“Rose gold always looked so good on you.” He said as he met your lips with his and you immediately smiled.
“Princess cut or else!”
“Who’s to say that I don’t already have it designed?” Jack asked and you looked at him with wide eyes.
“Well do you!?”
“You’ll find out soon enough.”
The two of you spent the rest of the day watching Christmas movies and Jack made a horrible attempt to help you make cookies which ended in him burning one of the batches. He pouted when you told him to leave the kitchen and eventually let him sit at the island while you made dessert to take with you on Christmas day for when you saw his family.
“Jackman Thomas, if you don’t stop eating everything that I make, there will literally be none left for us to take to your parents’ house!”
“I’m just so hungry! I mean I’d rather eat you instead, but you keep brushing me off and saying how much you need to get all of this done.”
“What am I going to do with you?”
“You know you missed me and you know that you’re my favorite meal. Why don’t we take a little break?” Jack asked as he got up from the chair and made his way over to you as you were decorating the cookies to wrap his arms around your waist and lean down to kiss you.
“I’m literally almost done, babe. Go back and sit down and be patient.”
“What if I don’t want to be patient?” Jack whispered in your ear and slowly slipped his hand in your shorts.
“Babe….”
“Hmm?”
“Turn the stove off.”
It was now Christmas afternoon and the two of you were making your way over to Jack’s parents house as promised. He didn’t let them know that you would be coming or that the two of you were together wanting for it to be a surprise.
As soon as Maggie caught sight of you as Jack had opened the door and the two of you were walking in, she immediately went to you and hugged you.
“My favorite daughter! I’ve missed you! How have you been? Tell me everything. Jack go put this in the kitchen and leave us be. I see you’re still around that big headed son of mine so obviously everything worked out?”
“Hi Mama Maggie!”
“Well damn, just push me to the side.” Jack muttered while rolling his eyes at his mom.
“Jackman, I’ve been looking at you for 24 years, one day of not getting my attention won’t hurt. Now back to Y/N.”
Jack simply took everything in the kitchen as the two of you sat down in the living room near the window.
“Everything worked out how it was supposed to although it was looking bleak there for a second.” You said being completely honest.
“Did he FINALLY ask you to be his girlfriend?! I swear he’s smart, but could use some help when it comes to talking and pursuing women.”
“MOM, I HEARD THAT!”
“Good! I should have told you sooner!”
“He did and I got this bracelet when he asked me too.”
The bracelet that you had originally thrown at him in Paris the night you left him was now gracing your left wrist again and all Maggie did was squeal.
“We took some time from each other and then realized that we had to meet each other halfway for this to work. And I couldn’t be happier.”
“JACK! COME HERE!” Maggie yelled for him and when he came and sat down on the opposite side of you, he immediately took your hand in his and all Maggie did was smile.
“So, when’s the wedding? I already have my outfit picked out.” Even though you two had talked about it, Jack immediately turned red and all you did was laugh.
“Well I need to propose first!”
“Well what are you waiting for?!”
“Yeah, Jack, what are you waiting for?” You asked teasing him while turning to look at him.
He simply sighed before reaching into his back pocket and your eyes as well as Maggie’s went wide and suddenly all eyes in the room were on the two of you.
“Babe, I wasn’t being serious.” You whispered as he got down on one knee in front of you.
“Well, I was. When I had first told you when I came to see you in Atlanta that I wanted to marry you, I started designing your ring when I got back home hoping and praying that you would forgive me for what I did. And when you say that you did forgive me a few days ago, I figured why wait? Your dream girl is in front of you and there is no way that I’m about to lose her for a second time. You came into my life when I least expected it and have been there for me ever since. You’re the first person that I would go to for everything and you would constantly be there for me when I needed you the most. I had to take time to think about how I was going to give you that same treatment in return and I want to be able to show you for the rest of our lives. So, with all that being said, Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
“Oh shit, you were serious the other day when you said that you may have already designed the ring.” You said through tears and Jack immediately laughed.
“You know that you will never have to want for anything being with me and if I said that I’m going to do something for you that I’m going to do it. So, I need an answer.”
“Yes, my answer is definitely yes.” You said as Jack slipped the ring on your finger and once he stood up, you immediately went to hug him and he placed several kisses on your lips which you gladly accepted.
When you heard Maggie laughing, both of you turned to look at her.
“Urban, Sunni, and Cope owe me 100 dollars.”
“For what?” Both of you asked while looking at her confused.
“I said by the end of the year that the two of you would be engaged and I was right.”

---
Fear can be irrational.
You know that. That's why children and even adults can be scared of silly things that reasonably can't hurt them.
Clowns, darkness, dentists, enclosed spaces…
…thunderstorms.
You weren't sure why exactly you were scared of thunderstorms. It had been like this since you were little. The moment you noticed the faintest flash of lightning, you'd rush out of your room and wiggle your way into your parents' bed, fearfully awaiting the booming noise that followed. Now, as an adult, you can handle it in minor doses. Light rain, faint thunder; it made you apprehensive, but you could distract yourself enough to stay calm. It was the stronger storms that set you off.
Like now.
It was probably around 6 or 7 p.m. The sun had set half an hour ago, leaving the sky outside the window an inky black. You were alone in the house - the boys had left to go shopping and pick up dinner. Knowing them, they'd probably be gone for another hour or so.
Normally, you wouldn't be so bad. You were an adult. You can handle a silly storm.
Not this time. Not tonight.
Your noise cancelling headphones were dead.
Sure, you could stick them on the charger easily. But they would take too long to charge. The storm would probably be gone by the time they finished. And in the meantime, you would have still been stuck in this same position. Besides, your brain was running off anxiety, you weren't exactly thinking clearly.
You were in the living room, since you had been watching one of your favorite shows on TV previously. The storm had interfered with the connection, so you couldn't continue watching it in the time being, even if you wanted to. Feeling antsy on the couch, and not being able to find a comfortable position on the soft cushions, you had slid yourself down to the carpeted floor instead. It was soft, but the texture was still a little rough against your skin. It kept you grounded slightly. Enough to know you were there, in your body still. Legs pulled up to your chest, you hid your face in your knees, eyes shut tight. You listened to the torrents of rain crash against the roof, the walls, the windows, battering at the house like an intruder attempting to break in. The thunder rattled the earth, shaking the ground with the power of its volume. Despite the little voice in your head telling you that the storm would pass, you couldn't help but be afraid.
You were going to die. You were going to die. You were going to-
You flinched when something touched the top of your head. With a wet gasp, your head shot up. Was it really an intruder, entrance hidden underneath the violence of the storm?
No, it was… Tom. Dressed in his normal hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. He knelt on the floor in front of you, making sure he was level with you. Even though the black hue of his eyes made it impossible to see any emotion in them, you saw that his lips were bent into a soft frown. Concern. His lips moved, going to speak, but his words were drowned out by a crash of thunder. You involuntarily whimpered, unable to hold the noise back from your throat. Burying your face back in your knees, you missed the way Tom's eyes widened as he realized what was happening.
The hand on your shoulder slid down to your bicep. You could feel the warmth of his skin seep into your bones as his fingers wrapped around it. He pulled -
-and then you were surrounded by the warmth. Your face pressed into something warm. Solid. The familiar scent of coffee and something woodsy with the faintest hint of smoke - fire or cigarettes, you could never figure out - completely filled your senses. It was Tom. He had pulled you into a hug.
You felt your muscles go slack. Pulling your face from his chest, you peeked up at him. He was already looking down at you. Still no emotions in those eyes. But you felt his hands cup your cheeks, gently, as if you were made of glass. His thumbs swiped away the tears that you hadn't even noticed were spilling. They stung your cheeks.
His voice was soft, like he was speaking to a frightened animal. That's what you felt like at that moment.
"Talk to me, sweet girl."
Something in the back of your brain slid into place at the name. An instinctual piece of you that melted into his arms, knowing you were safe right there. You fought past the thick lump of saliva in your throat to speak. Voice raw from tears and anxiety.
"It's just.. the storm."
"I gathered that much. What is it the storm itself? Or something about it?"
There was no malice or bite in his voice. Only tenderness and worry. Care.
"It's, um, the thunder? Or how- how loud it is. And how the rain is loud. It's stupid, I know…"
You sniffled and looked down at your lap, fidgeting with your fingers. Tom said nothing. It scared you for a moment. That fear intensified when you felt him move, beginning to slide you out of his embrace. Your fingers flew up, curling into the fabric of his hoodie as you clung to his shoulders. He did think it was stupid. He was going to leave you all alone, make you get over this by yourself-
"I'll be right back, baby. Gotta let me go get something."
Finally, you relented. He set you back on the carpet, standing up. You stared at the floor, listening to his socked footsteps fade away. You silently counted the seconds until his footsteps returned, his legs coming into your field of vision. Something fell onto your head before you could look up at him. It was fabric, and carried that woodsy scent of his. Your hand curled into the fabric, pulling it off your head and into your lap. Even in the limited light, you could identify the blue color. It was his hoodie.
Eagerly, you slipped it on over your t-shirt. He wasn't too much taller than you compared to the others, but the material still swallowed you in a way that you loved. It was like a safety net for your brain. When your head finally emerged through the hood, he was already sitting back down in front of you. The smile on his face made your heart skip a beat. It wasn't often you got to see him being so soft.
Tom reached forward, slipping something slightly heavier onto your head. When it was over your ears, you felt all the noise in the room disappear. You looked up at him in awe, making his smile stretch further. He had brought you his own noise cancelling headphones.
With the sounds of the storm cut away, you focused in on his appearance more closely. Since you were wearing his hoodie, he was left in a t-shirt. His hair was mussed, strands of it out of place. You figured he had recently gotten out of bed. When Edd had announced to you that they were going out, you assumed he meant all four of them. Tom must have chosen to stay behind. You weren't sure if it was because of a simple lack of desire to leave the house, or if he didn't want to leave you in the house by yourself. The idea of the latter option made your heart speed up, even if it wasn't true.
You noticed he was looking at you expectantly. When your head tilted in confusion, his shoulders shook. He was laughing at you. While the rare sight warmed your cheeks, you pouted at him in embarrassment. Why was he laughing at you?
Your eyes followed his when he motioned down. His phone was in his hand, screen towards you as it sat open to Spotify. Your gaze raked down the playlists on display. The Best Ska, Quiet Rainy Days, Shut the Fuck Up, Tord-
This were his playlists. You looked up at him in shock. To some, this may have seemed mundane. Unimportant. But you knew better.
In a house with boys who had never known conventional forms of affection, you had learned to spot the little things. To read between the lines of their words and actions.
Music was one of Tom's love languages. It was no secret to anyone that the man loved music, playing bass was his joy and passion during the moments that he didn't have a camera in his hands. For him, sharing his music with others was a show of affection, a glimpse into his brain through lyrics and instrumentals. And right now, he was letting you look through his Spotify playlists and choose one to listen to. Sure, you had listened to his music before in the car, when he had control of the aux. But during those times, he picked the playlists. Now, he was giving you control. It felt… vulnerable, in a way.
Carefully, hands trembling lightly, you took the phone from his hands. You could swear that from your peripheral vision, you caught him grinning. Almost like he was amused with how reverently you treated this act.
Then, you focused your attention on the playlists. There were a lot of them, you realized as you scrolled. Some of the names made you laugh softly. But then, one playlist caught your attention.
She's Standing Outside the Bar with Me while I Smoke
That was way too specific to not be something important. The playlist cover was a picture of a blurry figure standing outside of a building, looking up at the stars. Smoke from somewhere off camera gave the picture a hazy filter. With a jolt, you realized it was a picture of you. You recognized the building, it was the bar in town that Tom liked. The memory hit you suddenly.
It was Tord's birthday, and the boys wanted to go out drinking to celebrate it. Not wanting to miss out on the celebration, you had tagged along. None of them minded.
The bar was nice. You saw why Tom favored it. The décor was all dark wood and dark accents. It was crowded that night. Judging by the big group at the corner of the place, it was likely some kind of party. Maybe a bachelorette, or someone else's birthday. At some point, it had gotten too loud. Even from your little booth on the other side of the room, the music pulsed loud enough that you felt it throb in your head. To try and lessen the inevitable headache coming your way, you followed Tom when you noticed him slip out of the booth and through the front door. The night air had been a comfort to your senses. Tom had seemed surprised to see you, but didn't complain about the company. The two of you stood on the little wood ramp in a peaceful silence. At some point, you had gotten distracted by the night sky, spotting Orion's belt. He must have taken a picture of you during that time, between puffs of his cigarette.
Your cheeks heated up. That meant… this playlist.. was made for that memory. For you. You clicked on that playlist.
Tom must have noticed your blush, because he raised an eyebrow questioningly at you. Shyly, you showed him the playlist he selected. It was his turn to look away, flustered. But, you spotted a smile on his lips.
You set the phone on the ground between the two of you, focusing on the song that was playing. It was slow, calm, and so very Tom. The lyrics made something tight press against your chest. This was how Tom felt about you. This was a hint of how he saw you. You could feel his eyes on you, trying to decipher your reaction.
Taking a deep breath, you opened your eyes. He looked more antsy than you had ever seen him. It was important to him that you liked it. You made sure that your eyes held all the adoration you felt for him. It must have worked, because you noticed the faintest hint of a blush on his cheeks. His chest moved in what you recognized as a huff, then he reached an arm out, pulling you into his arms once again. All over again, your body melted into his hold. You closed your eyes.
No storm could reach you here.
You were safe.
--
Edd huffed as he opened the front door, shuffling in to try and escape the rain. Tord and Matt followed behind him, holding the grocery bags while Edd carried the takeout they had gotten everyone for dinner.
Just as Edd was about to call out, announcing their presence, Tord's elbow jabbed into his side. He grunted softly, then glared at him. Before he could snap, ask what the hell that was for, Tord pointed off to the side. Edd's gaze followed that direction.
Sitting on the living room floor was Tom, his back pressed against the couch. You were in his arms, face buried in his chest, wearing his hoodie. Edd recognized the black and white checker pattern on the headphones you were wearing - they were also Tom's. Both of you were fast asleep, chests rising and falling evenly.
Edd felt all his annoyance with Tord bleed away into tenderness at the sight. Joy filled his chest. He just couldn't help it as he shuffled the takeout bags onto one arm and pulled out his phone, snapping a silent picture of the two.
Muffling little giggles, Matt quickly ushered Tord and Edd into the kitchen, leaving you and Tom to sleep undisturbed.

🎶 So far gone on your own. Well you could get along if you tried to be strong. But you'll never be strong cause you're a rich girl. And you've gone too far cause you know it don't matter anyway. You can rely on the old man's money...
October 21st 2014
It was always very clear that the west coast wasn't for you, yet here you were, stuck in LA traffic on a saturday morning. You had questioned if you had done anything horrific in your life to deserve to be here right now.
Olive was sitting next to you and was playing some Mario game on his nintendo, Frank was driving while whistling the lines of the horrible music on the radio and your mother was nervous. Usually she would touch her pearl necklace continuously in state of stress, however it was packed up in her suitcase in the back. Now she was staring blankly in front of her, biting her nails. It was a habit you inherited from her as you were plucking your own cuticles. However, instead of being nervous, you were bored out of your mind.
To try and kill time you had placed your headphones on and listened to your own music, but still, Nirvana couldn’t make time go by faster. It also didn't help that strands of hair were getting painfully stuck in your headphones and earrings every time you moved.
For hours since you left the hotel it was quiet in the car, until you heard Frank gasp. The whole ride from the hotel he had looked very neutral but now he broke the silence. “Oh my god.”
Your mom got out of her trance and turned her head, making her hat bump against the window. “What is it, honey?”
“I think I forgot to grab our charger from our hotel room,” Frank seemed visibly upset and your mom stopped biting her nails.
“It’s probably somewhere in the suitcases in the back.” She tried to reassure but Frank shook his head. “No, I remember plugging in the charger and thinking to myself I should unplug it and pack it in, but I forgot.”
"It's just a charger, honey. You got a backup charger and when we arrive at the house we'll buy another one." she was quick to come to a solution but Frank shook his head. He was always one to never forget anything. Even though you were very very wealthy and could buy millions of chargers, Frank always advocated to you and your little brother to never lose an item worth of any value. Every cent was worth something and could help. The way Frank looked at money was the way a mother would look at a newborn child.
"Fine." He murmured and you saw one of his famous frowns appear on his face whenever he was upset. He looked like a child really. Every time something like this happens he sulks in a corner and desperately tries to push the annoying feeling away for the sake of looking tough, however, deep inside he was boiling.
He gave a small smack on the side of the wheel and cursed.
“Shit.”
Before he could say anything else, your mother gave him a soft smack on the shoulder. “Don’t swear in front of Oliver. He doesn't need to hear that filth.”
Frank’s eyes widened and he said “whoops” before giving a guilty look at your mother. He quietly hoped Oliver didn’t hear it but once he turned his head to look at him, Oliver looked up from his Nintendo and gave him a cheeky smile. “Shit.”
Oliver always did the same thing Frank did. It was cute how he looked up to him. Your mother however wasn’t too fond of it.
“See? He’s starting to copy you. Next thing I know, he starts smoking and drinking as well. 1 version of you is enough.”
“Oh come on, Clarissa. A little swearing won’t hurt the world. It’ll make him tough like his sister. Right Y/n?” again, he looked at you with hope through the rear view mirror that you’ll back him up.
“No, I actually agree with mom.”
“Thank you, see Frank? I raised a well mannered daughter.”
You bit your nail and leaned your elbow against the window frame of the car while looking outside. “Yeah, I think it’s a very shitty thing to swear in front of Olive.”
“Very shit indeed.” Oliver answered.
Frank laughed out loud, his lost charger long forgotten and your mother facepalmed while closing her eyes. She rubbed her forehead as she leaned against the window and she looked visibly disappointed. You however, looked at your little brother and high fived him.
“One version of you,” your mom looked back and pointed at you “Is also enough.”
You rolled your eyes and shook your head. You then clicked on the pause button on your ipod to resume your song. Nirvana’s ‘come as you are’ was on a loop and you closed your eyes while daydreaming.
The feeling of sitting in one position for way too long made your body shiver and ache. It stung and you felt uncomfortable, but after shifting and finding a better way to sit, the vibrations managed to lull you to sleep.
Once the car came to a stop about 3 hours later, you opened your eyes.
“We’re here!” Frank said in excitement and placed a hand on your mother’s hand before exiting the vehicle. You had your ipod in hand and ‘glory box’ by Portishead was playing as you stretched your limbs.
From the moment you stepped out of the car and felt the California weather wrapped around you, you were surprised that it wasn’t that hot. Even though it was October, you expected it to feel like you were in a pit of hell. The autumn breeze however felt comfortable against your skin.
You grabbed your backpack with all the necessary stuff you needed, and grabbed your sunglasses from your pocket to shield the sunlight from your eyes. As you chewed on your bubblegum you got a view of the building in front of you.
Frank and your mom were stretching their limbs and you took a long and hard look. The building looked like it had been ripped out of a 1920s film. It was grand and had a pale reddish color. The windows were mosaic with washed out colors, but it suited the exterior well.
Frank looked in awe at the building. “Now, look at that beauty. It’s even better in person.” you cocked your head to the side and scanned the mural. “It looks…” you tried to find the right word, “Old.”
You and your best friend loved fashion styles and you were also both very interested in stylish architecture. Victorian homes were usually fascinating to you because it had so much character and history. This one in front of you however looked like one of those houses that had mold everywhere. It's probably because it had been a very long time since people lived here.
You cringed and scrunched your nose while touching your earring. "This place better have a maid."
Olive stood next to you while Frank and your mom stood behind you. Frank placed his arm around your mom’s waist and placed a hand on your shoulder. "I read online that it was built somewhere in the early 20th century." Your mom gave the boy a little squeeze of his shoulder.
“Great, so the chances are 99% that the house is haunted." you muttered and your mom gave you a sharp look.
“What was that?”
“Nothing.” You gave her a smile and when she looked away, you rolled your eyes. Frank heard what you said and rubbed your shoulder. “Of course it’s not haunted, honey. You’ve seen way too many films,” the man looked at the little boy, “It’s beautiful and detailed, right Oliver?”
Oliver didn’t respond, instead he searched for your hand and clung to it. “Is this our new home?"
“It might be,” Frank walked with Marcy to the next room and squeezed Oliver’s shoulder. “Come on little man, let’s see the inside.”
Frank, Oliver and your mother were the first ones to walk towards the door and you were left behind to gaze at the window. You swore you saw movement for a split second and your eyes lingered for a moment, but after a while of staring you saw nothing. All that met your eye was the abyss behind colored tiles.
You shrugged it off and slowly made your way to the front door. Right before you stepped foot on the porch, the door opened and a strawberry blonde woman smiled brightly.
“You must be Frank and Clarissa,” she greeted and Frank shook the woman's hand. She introduced herself as Marcy and then saw you and your brother, "And you must be Y/n and Oliver." You shook her hand and smiled, showing your bright teeth, “Pleasure to meet you.”
“Likewise,” Marcy stepped aside and let everyone in. “It’s a classic Victorian. Built around 1920 by the doctor to the stars at the time. It’s just fabulous, these are real Tiffany fixtures. And as you can see, the owners really loved this place like a child. They restored everything.”
Oliver followed them and you were still scanning the hall. The feelings you had when you walked on the creaking wood was indescribable. It looked intriguing yet menacing for some reason.
As Marcy explained some more historic facts about the building, you got bored and decided to walk around. You didn't know where to, but your feet moved before you could think. It felt like a strong gravitational pull enchanted you and took control of your legs, and your curious eyes met a lamp in the corner of the end of the hall. To the right there was nothing to meet your eyes but the walls, yet again you swore you saw movement. You frowned but shrugged it off once again. Maybe it was just the jetlag. You really did feel tired and almost choked on your bubblegum when you fell asleep.
You whipped out your phone as you walked through the hall and you sighed exaggeratedly. You were texting your best friend about the house. However you didn't have any service and you wondered if the place had wifi. No matter, even if it would send, she didn't respond right away as she was probably asleep due to the time difference. You put away your phone and looked around.
You had seen pictures before and thought everything was gonna be smaller. You knew the way people photographed houses to make it look bigger than in reality, but this house seemed to be an exception. You had to give props to that. You had great respect for honesty and integrity.
As you were checking all of the rooms on the ground floor, you were stopped by a barking sound from your right. As you followed the sound, you looked down and saw a Chi-poo looking up at you with whale eyes. It looked at you with its head cocked to the side and you crouched down. “Where did you come from, little guy?” your voice was higher pitched and you gently grabbed the collar and read the name, “Hallie.”
Your frown faded and you smiled brightly while scratching Hallie’s head. “Aren’t you a little beauty?” You whispered and you let Hallie find a comfortable spot in your arms. The moment seemed sweet and although it was, a clicking sound of heels that was heard from behind you ruined it. You could almost hear the entitlement in that sound and you let out an inaudible sigh.
“There you are,” You looked up and saw your mother standing in the doorway. “Want to see the rest of the house, sweetie?”
Clarissa leaned against the brown cabinet on the right. You put up a smile and stood up from your spot.
“Yeah I’m coming.” You grabbed the dog and cradled it in your arms.
After you saw the kitchen, you were marveled by the space of the house in its entirety. Sure everything looked old but there was no denying the house definitely had style. The kitchen island had a sink and the dark brown wood oddly complimented the black and white tiles. From the outside it definitely looked very stale and it definitely needed a paint job, but from the inside it was much more vibrant. You appreciated all the little crevices of details in each and every room and realized you shouldn't have judged too harshly on the first look.
Once you moved to another door and opened it, you saw two big shelves against the wall and a fireplace on the right.
“This could be the music room, right honey?” Frank asked your mother and she happily nodded.
Marcy looked amused, “You’re a musician?”
Frank shook his head. “No, unfortunately I’m not musically gifted, Y/n is. She plays the piano.”
"She definitely didn't get that from me, I am tone deaf." Your mother laughed and you smiled sheepishly.
Marcy gave you a smile in return and walked a bit further towards the window. “I think the piano is such a lovely instrument, I think it will look amazing here.” She pointed at the spot near the window and Frank happily continued talking. “Y/n has been dying to get a Grand Piano. We had one years ago but sold it when we moved again. We want to buy one as soon as possible for her so she can practice again.” He placed a hand on your shoulder and gave you a proud smile as he rubbed softly, “Oliver always listened whenever she played. Y/n even taught him a song or two."
“That sounds lovely, the previous owners of the house were also musically gifted. The mother played the Cello.” Marcy continued and her face fell, “Speaking about the previous owners, full disclosure requires that I tell you what happened to them.”
You let out a soft chuckle and walked forward, causing Frank's hand to let go off your shoulder. “Let me guess, they died?”
You actually meant for it to be a joke, but Marcy nodded.
“Yes they did, actually. All three of them. The dog you’re holding is Hallie. The only one left of the Harmon family. The mother died while giving birth and the daughter and the father both committed suicide. I sold them the house too. They were just the sweetest family. You never know, I guess.”
Your face fell and your mouth opened and closed a few times as your eyebrows were raised. Before you could say anything, Frank came to your rescue. “That explains why it’s half the price of every other house in the neighborhood and why it was on sale for 3 years I guess.”
You could have guessed Frank wanted the biggest house for the least amount of money. One thing he didn't forsee was there was always a catch.
"I told you it was too good to be true." you whispered to yourself. The house market was shit, and so when Frank found this house on the listings he marveled at how much money he could save and invest if you were to move in. You were very skeptical of it and had warned him that there could be a very concerning reason as to why it was this cheap.
Murders were definitely a valid reason as to why.
Marcy continued. “I do have a very nice mid-century ranch, but it’s in the valley and you’re going to get a third of the house for twice the price.”
Your mother held the arm of Frank and seemingly didn’t care about the information about the demise of the previous tenants. “The price doesn’t really matter to us. We just need a spaceious place where there is silence and peace. I get these horrible migraines that cause insomnia and my psychiatrist recommended moving to a more quiet area.”
“And you thought you would find silence in LA?” You tried but your mother ignored your comment and continued talking to Marcy. “He prescribed me pills that could help me fall asleep and stay asleep. But still, the loudness of central New Orleans was too much.”
“Don’t worry, mrs. Kinsley. Los Angeles is not all loud and noisy. This house is in the perfect neighborhood and in the perfect shape. The sounds of anything outside are drowned out by the thick walls and even then, it’s rare for it to be busy outside. The only times when the neighborhood comes alive is on holidays,” Marcy continued. “As halloween is approaching, the peak will be on october 31st, but after that you can expect everything to be quiet. Also, the neighbors don't really tend to socialise a lot from what I've heard.”
“That sounds lovely.” your mother smiled brightly and Marcy walked away to talk with Frank about the next room that was perfect for his work. You could faintly the voice of Marcy saying the man from the previous family was a psychiatrist and you found it ironic since Frank was a psychologist. What a coincidence.
As soon as she was out of your sight, you turned to your mother and removed the smile from your face. “Okay, it might be in a good neighborhood, and everything might be all quiet or whatever. But are we really gonna gloss over the fact that a family died here? I mean, what happened to the tenants before them? Are you not concerned about that?"
“The history of the house isn't that important," she shrugged, "You didn't seem to have a problem with our old house. It's even older and also a lot of things have happened there. Probably a few murders here and there. There is a ton of history on that as well." She said as if it was the most casual thing ever. Yeah sure, it's not like murder is a crime and is very bad
"Yes, but this is a house where random people died," you whisper-shouted, "Our old house was old, yes, but it's family history. Our history. I don't mind that because it's a part of us. It's part of our family."
Your mother didn't answer that and looked at the side. She was as stubborn like you and you let out a mocking laugh. "Right, I forgot family doesn't mean anything to you, it's why you got a new shitty boyfriend Frank and decided to move to the other side of the fucking country." That made her head snap back to you and you almost missed the way her head moved to Frank and Marcy, afraid that they would hear her daughter's outburst.
"Y/n, let’s not do this now. It’s not the timing.” Your mother warned with closed teeth and but before you could protest and ask when the right time was, Oliver stood in the doorway. “Mom?”
Hallie, who had a warm spot in your arms, jumped out and ran towards the younger boy. Oliver looked surprised but happily pet the dog and Clarissa smiled as if nothing happened.
“Hey honey, what do you think of the house so far?"
“It’s very big,” Hallie licked his hand and the boy smiled, “I like it.”
Clarissa nodded in agreement and glanced at Frank and Marcy for a second before facing the two of you again. “I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. Exactly what we're looking for.”
You raised your eyebrows and crossed your arms over each other.
Olive's eyes sparkled. “Does this mean that we’ll take it?”
“I think it’s perfect," she said and she gave Olive a smile. “Your opinion matters too, of course. What do you say?” You gave your mother a side eye.
“Yes!" she then turned to look at you and waited for your approval. "And you? Y/n?" her eyes stood void of emotions and you watched Frank and Marcy in the corner of your eyes and sighed. “Why are you asking me? I know you don’t care about my opinion anyways.”
“Y/n…” Clarissa smiled through her teeth and gave you a warning look again. Hallie barked at something and ran out of Olive's arms into the hallway. Olive followed the dog and you continued the conversation you had with your mom.
"What? It's literally why you forced me to come with you. Ever since Frank came we everything changed and I'm tired of it, okay? I just... I can't. Give me a break." you exhaled deeply and rubbed your forehead.
"I will have none of this at the moment,” she repeated her standard line with a calm tone, “We both know it was for the best, and you like quiet too right? There are great schools here and I'm sure you'll make loads of new friends." She didn't know she was literally proving your point right then and there. She didn't care about your opinion. She already had her own the minute she forced you to pack your things and dragged you into the car. You were tempted to open the window and yell 'Help, I'm being kidnapped' but you knew that would only worsen things. You also didn't really felt like sitting in a police bureau sulking while your mother explained the situation.
You scoffed and crossed your arms. "LA is full of stuck up people who care only about followers and fame. I never wanted this."
Your mother rolled her eyes. "Don't act like a brat, Y/n I am so over it. Tons of girls your age dream of moving to this city in a big house like this. They would do anything to be in your position right now, to have the opportunities you have. Besides there are people like that everywhere, your old friends were exactly like that. And sweetie, don't tell me you're not like them cause you are.”
Ah, the old classic "you can't feel sad because you have it better than majority of the people on this shitty planet".
You were starting to boil.
“Just because you’re not a fan of them doesn’t mean they’re immediately conceited.” you tried to keep your voice low to avoid Olive hearing the conversation if he were to lurk somewhere nearby. He had witnessed a few outbursts a few times before and you didn't want Olive to see that as an example of good behavior.
Before the conversation truly went downhill, Marcy and Frank walked back into the room and you turned around to smile again as if nothing happened. Your mother did the same and now you realized the older you got, the more you looked like your mother.
Frank gave Clarissa a kiss on the cheek before he looked at you and asked the same question. “So, Y/n. What do you say?”
It was quiet for a few seconds before you realized that there was absolutely no way of going home anytime soon. You gave Frank one last look before giving Marcy a grin, hoping she wouldn’t notice your twitching eye.
“Does this place come with the dog?”
After Clarissa and Frank signed some papers and discussed the next plans with Marcy, it was already night time. Most of the moving boxes were in the living room and you were currently in your new bedroom. You didn't want to speak with anyone today and so you sulked while sitting on your bed.
The room wasn't all too bad, it was way smaller and darker than your previous room but oddly enough you didn't really mind. Plus, the door had a lock so that was very convenient for you. It took a little while to get the key but after a thorough search you found it lying in a cabinet.
You locked the door, closed the blinds and made sure no one could peek. You were tired from everything and you were in desperate need of some distraction. A bottle of vodka was hidden somewhere deep in one of the boxes as well as a can of cola, and you mixed the two drinks.
"At least I still have alcohol and a designer handbag." You muttered and as you sat on the chair in front of the mirror at your desk, you took a swig of the liquid.
“The blinds are see through, anyone standing in the yard can see what you're doing.”
You spat out the remaining drink and turned around to see a young, blonde man stand near the door. He had his hands in his pockets and simply blinked at you.
“What the-” you wiped the remains from your mouth. “Who are you? How did you get in here?” You saw that the door behind him was open, and you were visibly confused. You thought you locked your door.
“Also, the lock is old, you should double turn the key for it to work.”
Before you could say anything else, he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.
Your eyebrows were frowned and you turned around one more time to blink at the door. Once you looked back at the mirror, you saw the spatters of vodka mixed with cola painted the glass and rubbed your eyes.
What the fuck?
You stood up from your place after a few seconds and walked to your door. To test out what he said you locked the door while twisting the key once. As you pushed the door, it opened and you did the same thing again, this time you turned the key twice.
You pushed the door and it didn’t budge.
Who the fuck was he and how did he get into your house? Was he one of the movers who helped with the boxes from the truck? No that can't be possible, you scanned everyone's faces as they moved in and out, but everyone was middle aged.
So perhaps he was one of Frank's clients? You didn't really know anything about his job but it seemed very logical that clients first had to book an appointment before showing up.
Even though you were kind of freaked out, you didn't alarm anyone. Maybe that was a dumb decision, but you really didn't feel like walking downstairs to see the smug face of Frank and your mother, especially after everything that happened today.
If he was a thief, you hoped he'd steal Frank's backup charger.
If you thought the situation with the blonde boy was weird, what happened after was a lot weirder.
It was about an hour later and you had a bathroom break. You could still walk in a straight line and only felt a bit buzzed. Trying to avoid the living room where Frank and your mother were seated, you walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple from the tray.
Walking back upstairs, you accidentally dropped the apple and cursed. However, as it rolled into the hallway, you were startled to see the apple roll back to you as though it hit an invisible wall in the middle. You grabbed your forehead, crouching down and taking the apple in your hand. How was that possible?
Looking around once or twice to see anything out of the ordinary, you struggled to clear your thoughts. Eventually you blamed it on the alcohol. Although a feeling deep inside told you that it wasn't that. You knew you weren't drunk enough to imagine this.
You didn't make a big deal out of it mainly because you always scared yourself by thinking the most random creepy things. Walking to the bathroom at night; what if someone is standing behind the corner? Sitting on the couch; what if someone's hand suddenly snatches you into a shadow realm? Every thought was so random. You did it to yourself and you didn't want to scare yourself again.
You blinked once or twice before returning your trek upstairs.
Walking through the hall to find the right door back to your room, you struggled. Having a big house meant there were more rooms, which meant that it would take a while longer to get used to finding your way. Your old house was the same, maybe even bigger. It was the perfect place for hide and seek. You could hide in a closet in one of the many rooms and it would take hours or maybe days to find you.
As you finally found your bedroom, you stopped in your tracks. You heard noise behind the door, and when you opened it, you frowned. You saw that someone unplugged your headphones from your ipod on your bed and had played a song by Daryl Hall and John Oates.
So far gone on your own. Well you could get along if you tried to be strong. But you'll never be strong cause you're a rich girl. And you've gone too far cause you know it don't matter anyway. You can rely on the old man's money...
You paused the device and walked out of your room.
“Olive!”
“Yes?”
You opened the door to his room and saw he was still on his nintendo. He didn’t look up when you stood in the doorway with your arms crossed. “You can’t just go into my room and do that shit. We need some boundaries, I value privacy."
Oliver looked up from his nintendo and looked confused. “I didn’t go into your room?”
“Very funny Olive.” Oliver had pulled pranks on you before and so you weren't buying it. "First of all, don't call me Olive, I'm a person not food, and second of all, I never stepped foot off my bed since I jumped on it. That was like an hour ago."
You were very skeptical and crossed your arms.
“You’re lying.”
“I’m not, I swear!”
You narrowed your eyes before deciding to drop the subject. You didn't want to argue, especially knowing you would get a lecture from Frank about family positivity.
“Whatever.”
You walked back and looked at your ipod once again and rubbed your eyes, cursing because you wore mascara. Trying not to cry because everything frustrated you, you fell ontop of your bed and groaned in your pillow, smudging mascara on the sheets. You just simply didn't care anymore.
These were very interesting first days of your new house. Nothing really seemed to work in your favor, you hated this city, you missed everyone back at home, everything seemed to be out of the ordinary, and you didn't know if the constant feeling of being watched was because of the new house, or if it was just you being paranoid.
No matter, every feeling you held wasn't gonna last long. Because as soon as you would turn 18, you would pack your bags and leave this place. Ever since Frank came into the picture you had everything planned out. All you had to do was wait a couple of weeks and survive the constant bickering of your family members, Frank, and the weirdness of the house. You just have to hold on a little longer.
This is going to be challenging, but surviving for a bit longer can't be that hard... Right?

Reviving Love
Jason Todd x Reader Chapters AO3
Chapter 5
Bruce smiled when Jason got into the car, reaching out to ruffle his black curls before getting ready to drive off, and was ready to ask him how his first day was when a voice called for his son. Jason perked up, automatically looking out the rolled-down passenger window at you running toward the car, notebook in hand. The smile on Jason’s face got wider as he called out your name, asking you what was going on.
“I forgot to give you my notebook,” You said, out of breath as you leaned into the car to set the notebook in his lap. “I wrote my home phone number in it if you have any questions. My mom might answer but just tell her that you’re looking for me.”
“O-okay, thanks,” Jason said, trying not to look at Bruce. He wasn’t looking at him, but Jay could practically feel the shit-eating smirk on his father’s face.
That seemed enough for you, but before you could pull away you leaned back into the car, directing your question at Bruce. “Hey, Mr. Wayne, tomorrow after school the art club is painting a set for the school play, do you think Jason could stay to help?”
Jason was glad you brought that up because, during lunch earlier that day, he had expressed to you that the art club had sounded fun though he knew it couldn’t be a commitment of his. You saw to at least get him to try it once.
Bruce was caught off guard and it took him a second to answer. “Yes, yes, that should be fine.”
“Great! See you tomorrow, Jay,” You said, running off.
Once the car window was closed a deafening silence fell between the two of them. Jason knew what Bruce wanted him to say, but was too embarrassed to say anything.
Then, holding back a smile, Bruce said, “So, made a new friend?”
“Yes, I made a friend,” Jason made sure he understood that much.
Bruce didn’t say anything as he drove back home, just occasionally glancing at his son with a small smirk. Jason pretended not to notice just as he did with the blush on his cheeks when he stared down at your notebook on his lap. It was one of the notebooks the school sold, with the name and mascot on it, but with little details left behind by you. Your name was written prettily in red Sharpie across the top, random stickers littering the cover, and little sticky note tabs poked out on the side.
Bruce was always one for dry teasing, much to Jay’s annoyance. When they got home, Bruce was quick to loudly tell Alfred that Jason had made a friend, emphasizing that was all it was. Alfred was none too pleased with his charger’s treatment of the boy and scolded him for trying to embarrass him in such a way.
“Should we discuss Miss Kyle, Bruce,” The old man said, eyebrow arched.  Bruce said nothing else about you, and Jason quietly thanked Alfred.
Usually, Jason would run straight to the cave, excited to get to work on a new case with Batman, but a new rule had been implemented. No Robin on school nights. Dick had told him it was a rule that Batman, and Bruce, stuck by religiously. Not that Jason could complain, he was secretly excited to go through your notebook.
He got comfortable at the counter, his notebook set out next to yours, ready to copy down all the notes from the past few weeks. On the first page, in the top margin, your phone number was scribbled with a little note to call you if there were any questions. Staring at it for a minute, Jason slowly slid off the stool to grab the house phone. Slowly, he dialed you.
There wasn’t any question that he wanted to ask, but it was the urge to just know what you were doing. In the hours he had spent with you at school, Jason had been happy to find someone who understood his interests and seemed interested in them.
The phone rang a few times before an older woman’s voice came through, “Hello?”
Jason nervously stammered out, “H—hello, I’m calling for…”
Before he could even get your name out, your mother was yelling across the house for you. There was some muffled talking before your voice came through the phone, saying his name happily.
“How’s it going with the notes?” You asked.
Jason looked down at them, suddenly remembering that he needed to have something to ask you about. He couldn’t just plainly say that he wanted to talk to you more. “Good. I…I just wanted to ask about the art club project.”
“What about it,” You asked quizzically.
Jason quickly said, “Do I need to bring anything to help?”
You hummed in thought, and he pictured you thinning your lips. He had noticed the habit a few minutes after meeting you. After a few more seconds of silence, you finally said. “Nope. Just yourself.”
“Good, good,” Jason mumbled, not too sure of what to say next.
Luckily, you were quick to fill in the silence. “Did you enjoy your first day?”
“Yeah. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be,” He paused, cautious of the words that were going to come out next. “Thank you, by the way. You were a great first-day buddy.”
You giggled, “Thanks. You were a great… first-day buddy, too? I don’t know how to phrase that.”
“I think I get your meaning,” He felt more confident talking to you. “And thanks.”
You started to say something before some talking in the background cut you off. You must have pulled the phone away from your ear as your voice now sounded distant. A moment later you were giving a quick goodbye. “I’m sorry, Jay, my mom needs me for something. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”
“Sure, talk to you tomorrow.” When the line went dead, Jason let go of a breath he didn’t know he was holding. Putting the phone back on the counter, he looked back down at the words on the paper. Jason thought about you before he noticed Bruce leaning against the doorway.
“Shut up,” Jason said. He knew what Bruce was already thinking.
Standing straight, the older man put his hands up. “Hey, I wasn’t going to say anything— except to see you if you needed help with any homework, bud.”
“Good.”
“Well,” Bruce said expectantly when Jason didn’t answer his question. “Do you have any homework? Or are you just flirting on the phone?”
“No, to both,” He said sheepishly.
Jason turned away from Bruce, ending the conversation. He pulled his notebook toward him, starting to copy your notes.

fem! reader , matt sturniolo.
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 -
Boston Massachusetts,
two best friends with two different backstories. One blinded by love that she can't see it going down hill. The other head over heels for HER but is too scared to admit it. But what will happen when the toxicness catches up on the relationship?
✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧
it was not long ago that i got a message from my boyfriend, Finn. It was an unusual relationship. it was like i loved him to much and he just used me as a side girlfriend. but he still loved me, right?
the message read,
"hey, still up for tonight?"
i quickly grabbed my phone and typed back "yeah ofcourse i'm excited!"
it was left on read so i just shut my phone and continued getting ready for tonight before i got a message from matt. my bestfriend since i could remember, but also the boy that finn dispised.
apparently he was to 'clingy' or 'touchy' with me. i always thought it was normal though? i mean matt is a very touchy person but that's just the way he is.
the message read "hey, haven't spoke in a while, you okay?"
i replied with a quick "yeah but gotta go have plans with finn ttyl?"
he reacted to the message with a thumbs up.
-
i pulled on a fresh love hoodie (chris' brand matts brother) and the matching sweats to it, since we're only going to finns house to 'hang out'. i ran a brush through my hair to neaten it up abit before quickly plugging my phone into the charger to charge it up for a bit.
after it was fully charged i hopped into my car and was quick to put it in reverse pulling out of my driveway.
-
i was around five minutes away from finns house, like basically around the corner from it. the ending from 'les' just fineshed and i pulled into his driveway, getting out of the car and giving his door a quick light knock
he opened the door with a slight smile on his face, almost smug. i just ignored it and walked into the house behind him.
it was quite a basic house but it was big. bigger than my house and most of the houses on the street, he didn't really know how to decorate it though i could tell that.
he led me to the couch to sit beside him, to watch a movie but all he really did while it was playing was be on his phone supposedly texting his 'friends' but i know for a fact it wasn't
i tried to ignore the fact that he was literally not paying attention to me whatsoever, so i just pulled out my phone and saw a message from matt, i didn't see it before since my phone was on so not disturb because i actually wanted to spend time with finn.
"you having fun?"
i stared at the message for abit before responding
"not really he's basically ignoring me"
i stared at the bubble to show he was typing and zoned out staring at it, not realising he had sent a text and finn was trying to talk to me
"y/n? y/n?!" he basically shouted taking me surprise and lifting my head up
"hm?" i reply softly to then realise he was looking through the messages with me and matt, i quickly looked up in confusion and tried to grab it of him.
"wtf are you doing finn?!"
he ignores me and continues to swipe through the messages
"i'm definitely ignoring you aren't i?" he said with an angry- ish tone
"i-i'm sorry it's just.. you where on your phone the whole time i thought you were..?"
he shakes his head and shuts my phone off and stares at me
"if you wanna talk to him that much while WERE together then go be with him. but trust me that would be a big mistake wouldn't it?" he said adding more pressure on his grip on my chin forcing me to look up at him
"no- no finn it's really not what you think i promise.. we're just friends"
"hmm are you now" he says with a cooing tone. i just gulp and sit there feeling guilty over myself even though i wasn't the one in the wrong here.. it was him. what did i do wrong?
"see have nothing to say now do you. i'm your boyfriend y/n not stupid little matt got me?"
i gulp and swallow "i know your my boyfriend i only see matt as a friend i swear"
he nods in approval before harshly softening his grip on my chin and placing a kiss on my lips softly and then sitting back down on his phone acting as if nothing had happened.
-
it's been around 2 hours since i got home, i went home coz i said i felt sick, i really didn't though i just wanted to get away from him he always controls me and it gets really frustrating sometimes. i know he's my boyfriend and all but cmon i've known matt for ages ofcourse i see him as only a friend.. right?
✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧✧
a/n: this one is only short since it's the first part but there will be longer parts part two might be out tomorrow or the day after i don't know since it's gonna be longer than usual. i don't plan on doing any more series just yet but maybeee😽
