Introduction

Hey everyone!! I wanted to do a quick introduction post for all of you new people.

First of all, it's AMAZING to meet all of you! I am loving the positivity I've received on this platform so far. Bless all of you for being so wonderful 💖🫶

My name is Jordan, but you may also call me Sun. I am 18 years old, and I use he/she/they pronouns. I've been practicing paganism for eight years (so since I was ten years old!), and my mom is also a witch.

I currently work with Apollo (eight years), Loki (four years), and Hades (like two days haha).

Some fun facts about me:

1. I'm starting freshman year of college in the summer, and am working towards a PhD in psychology!

2. I'm courting to be a godspouse :)

3. Outside of witchcraft, I like to bake, sing, write songs, and write books/poetry/essays!

4. I have a dog named Stitch!

5. I have over 35 tarot decks (nearly 40!)

The basic stuff

• I don’t have a name

• I’m 23, transfeminine, nonbinary and I go by they/them, she/her and It/Its

The more intimate details:

• As previously stated, this blog is mostly gunna be about a few specific things, but I’m also more than comfortable talking about my many *many* kinks, so don’t be surprised if that crops up

• I’m a massive fan of Black Metal and extreme music in general, so I’ll probably end up talking about that too

• Low fantasy, sword and sorcery, and cosmic horror are my favorite genres of fiction

• STALKER is the best game franchise, fight me

• I refer to Satan as a feminine entity. To me she is a feminine entity. That doesn’t mean I think seeing Satan as masculine or androgynous is wrong. I believe she takes whatever form makes us most comfortable

• I also practice traditional witchcraft and chaos magick, but I probably won’t bring either of those up often

• Mother Satan: Dark Lord of The Forest, Protector of Nature, Guardian of Queer People, Giver of Knowledge, Carnality and Desire, Chief of Rebels. Primary deity

• Dionysus: God of queerness, alcohol, festivity, sex and gender fluidity. Secondary deity

• Odin: Giver of wisdom and magick, lord of the hanged, keeper of hidden knowledge

• Loki: God of cunning, fire and magick

• Hecate: Goddess of witchcraft, the moon and the dead

Hello! this is just a quick about-me post to get people introduced to me and my practice. This is quite a long post, so if you don't want to read all of it, it'll be broken up into a few distinct sections of basic info, my practice (witchcraft), my practice (religion), and my hobbies/interests. If you have any other questions, feel free to send an ask or leave it in the comments. My practice (witchcraft):

I'm a witch!! Eclectic is pretty accurate for me, but I do use a lot of heathenry in my practice. I collect crystals for both spiritual purposes and the fact that they're generally pretty cool :) I tend to do mostly low-energy spells, but I do enjoy larger and more elaborate rituals and spells when I have the time and motivation. I love divination, and would absolutely love to do readings for people if anyone wants one! you can just send me an ask if you'd like. I'm most experienced with tarot cards and oracle cards, but I also use pendulums, playing cards, tasseomancy (tea leaf reading), osseomancy (bone throwing/reading, although you don't just have to use bones for this), and more! currently I'm researching spirit work, shadow work, plant spirits, and astral projection/the astral realm.

My practice (religion):

I'm a pagan!! I only work closely with Loki, so I also use the term Lokean. Loki is my patron deity, so I work very very closely with him, and I'd love to tell you guys about him! Previously I have worked with the fae, but I wasn't taking it seriously enough, and didn't know enough to really do it properly. I may start working with them again now that I've learned more about myself and my beliefs. I also may start working with Lucifer, but I need to keep researching him.

My hobbies/interests:

As mentioned above, I love biology in general, but I am especially interested in entomology, mycology, ornithology, lepidopterology, herpetology, and botany. I am an amateur houseplant collector, and my most prized specimens are my (very small) Monstera albo, my (very large) pothos with 9+ inch long leaves, and my huge fiddle leaf fig! I'm currently planning on starting to pin insects, raise moths, and raise mantids. I love Dungeons and Dragons, so I'd love to geek out about that with somebody >:) I also do a lot of fiber work when I have time, specifically embroidery, sewing, and crocheting. I enjoy learning about music-theory, and compose a little bit. my favorite bands are Fall Out Boy, Ghost, Witchfinder General, Candlemass, Tom Lerher, and Chappel Roan. I also write, draw, paint, and sculpt!

The Somewhat Less Basics:

I'm white. My ancestry is predominately from Germanic and "British Isles", but I was raised entirely "privileged American WASP". Despite being exiled from that family and experiencing poverty and homeless as a teen and adult, my background shapes my worldview.

Given my settler-colonialist heritage, I make a conscious attempt to stay out of closed practices and appropriately honor the land upon which I live.

I was raised Anglican/Episcopalian, Lutheran, and Catholic (it's complicated).

I am an eclectic pagan and polytheist. I got started in paganism through genealogical research and an ancestral connection to Englisc/Anglo-Saxon heathenry (folkists GTFO) so most of my worship is conducted through that framework of practice.

I think most/all gods are real and powerful, but I am somewhat choosy about the ones I choose to honor and worship for myself. I suppose that makes me henotheist.

I am a theistic Satanist- I worship Satan as a god of rebellion and opposition, rejection of authoritarianism, justice, and forbidden knowledge (amongst other things). I worship several other gods and/or demons as aspects or very close counterparts of Satan.

I venerate my ancestors and honor the spirits and wights of the land and the home.

I have no ill will towards Christians as individuals. Satan is the Adversary of the Christian god, however, and so there are things upon which Christians and myself will fundamentally disagree. And that's okay.

I hold some Buddhist practices & philosophy very close to my heart.
