I wrote a small Christmas-themed Aralas short :

Chapter One

It was that time of year again. The members of the Fellowship had ridden in from their respective realms to join in celebrations with the Lords and Ladies of Imladris. Lord Elrond had insisted on holding the Yule commemorations in his house due to the overall friendly attire of the realm. Legolas himself was ecstatic, in the past present years, Mirkwood – having been now renamed to its original name of Greenwood – had been preoccupied with keeping the enemies out of the palace. But this year was different, now with the threats to their peace eradicated, beings such as himself were free to celebrate in bliss. 

Legolas could not wait to see the newly appointed King of Gondor again, ever since his crowning a few years ago, the Elven Prince had begun to see his love less since he’d set his heart on restoring the woods of Ithilien. However, all his beloved members and friends were finally gathering to share in the happiness. He was one of the last to arrive, having had some commotion amongst his elves that delayed his departure– Gimli did not tire of the subject. 

Once he had rode through the gates, the hobbits, Gandalf, Gimli and Boromir were standing there in wait for him, whilst the twins, Arwen, Lord Elrond, Lord Glorfindel, Erestor and Lindir – who had been preparing for the last month – were already there to greet them. Legolas was confused upon finding Aragorn missing from their meeting place– just before the gates of Imladris. “Aye, My King sent me forth with ill tidings…” Boromir spoke up, after everyone had fully gathered that not everyone was indeed present. “And just when were ye gonna tell us about this, laddie?” Gimli grumbled, setting himself down on a nearby rock. Legolas glanced towards the man of Gondor with anxious eyes, he had not heard of Aragorn’s setback. Was he alright? 

Boromir in return, rolled his eyes at Gimli, before responding, “He had an urgent case to take care of before he could leave. He believed to make it two days from now.” He explained, causing the hobbits to sigh sadly. “Thou shalt not be so disheartened!” Glorfindel then cried, his golden hair waving in the wind. “A feast there is tonight! We will have it merrily and wait therein for King Elassar to arrive in our homely house.” Erestor rolled his eyes at his partner's proud and confident tone as he dramatically led the hobbits towards the hall of fire. Legolas smiled. Soon Gimli, Boromir and the twins departed also, with Elrond and Gandalf (deep in conversation) made their way towards the thick and rich gardens with Lindir trailing languorously behind them. Soon Legolas was left in Arwen’s presence, and the two shared a warm embrace. 

“All is well in Ithilien?” She asked, peeling away and fixing him under her piercing azure eyes. “Most,” Legolas replied, intertwining their arms together as they walked into the house, “The elves are delighted to work on nurturing a forest so much like their own, however homesickness is quite a striking disease.” Arwen laughed at the joke. “Yes, I do believe I remember your reaction to being away from Greenwood on your first visit here.” She giggled at his dismayed expression. “I was just five-hundred!” He cried, forming quite an informal pout. “Such a measly age for a great warrior prince.” She said, smiling wide. “Oh dear, was I not informed that ‘such a great warrior prince’ was meant to skip that age? I need to have a word with my teachers after this holiday.” Legolas asked, frowning. “Yes, I should have a serious word with them.” Arwen nodded sternly before they both burst into a fit of laughter. 

Four days passed in a mere blink, and soon enough, Aragorn rode through the stone arch of Imladris, dressed in his ranger gear. Legolas barely repressed an eye roll at the choice. “Really, Estel?” Elrohir cried, exasperated, “You have this giant wardrobe full of fancy, rich clothing and you wear…. that.” Elladan shook his head beside his brother. “I think there be nuffing wrong with Mr. Strider’s clothes.” Samwise spoke up, crossing his arms in a display of dominance. The twins giggled at him and the hobbit soon blushed in embarrassment before hiding himself behind Frodo. “See, Samwise approves.” Aragorn said, swinging himself off his horse, grinning like a dork. 

“Yes, because Samwise is too polite to say otherwise.” Legolas voiced, moving forward to embrace his love. Aragorn accepted the hug with little hesitation. Gimli gagged from somewhere to their left, “Get a rooommmm.” He moaned and everyone laughed at him. Soon they all went off to their respective rooms whilst Gimli complained to Meriadoc and Peregrin about “Havin’ to deal with ‘ose two was a rough nightmare!” 

Aragorn snorted and pulled Legolas in closer. “You look beautiful.” He murmured, kissing him on the cheek. The Prince flushed, he didn’t really look all that stunning, he was wearing a simple white gown with a silver belt and brown shoes. “I couldn’t say the same about you…” he said in turn and the King’s jaw went slack. “Legolas! Does thou mock me so?” He asked, pushing Legolas away from him. “Yes,” he replied after being pushed away. “How could one not mock you?” 

“Samwise didn’t.” “We’ve been through this.”

“I’d like to properly go through it again.”

“How was the first time not properly!?” 

“Because I said so.” “Oh, apologies, Your Highness.”

“Bow down to me, peasant.”

“I think you’ve forgotten who you speak of.”

“Who are you again?” “A peasant, apparently.” “You look like one.”

“At least I’m a beautiful one.”

“Who lied to thee?”

“THOU JUST SPOKE IT!”

“I have no memory of this… do you deem to make a fool of me, peasant!?”

“Oh my Eru…” Legolas sighed before tugging at Aragorn’s arm and pulling him in for a kiss. “Needy peasant…” the King mumbled and Legolas slapped him, “Sorry, sorry!” 

“PIPPIN YULE!” Pippin yelled, jumping up beside the tree. “PIPPIN!” Merry cried “It’s Merry Yule. Not Pippin Yule!” He cried. “No fair! Why do you get a title!” Pippin voiced his disappointment. “I didn’t choose it!” Cried Merry in disbelief. “TRAITOR!” 

Whilst the two hobbits argued back and forth, the others were busy moving around from table to table, enjoying the foods of the fine elven chefs in the kitchens. Legolas sat on the floor beside the tree with his head resting upon his lover’s shoulder. Gimli and Boromir were speaking of their own love lives because they thought that everyone should know (in reality they were jealous of all the coupling around them and brought the attention to themselves), Elrond and Arwen were dancing together as the Elven band plucked at their string instruments merrily in the background, Gandalf was watching whilst smoking his pipe with a newly arrived Biblo, Frodo was holding a crying Samwise after he had received his present which happened to be the finest gift for a gardener; a pair of cutters. Meanwhile on the opposite side of the hall, the twins were harassing Erestor whilst Glorfindel watched on, incredulity amused. 

“Lord Glorfindel might return to the Halls of Mandos sooner than any would have anticipated…” Aragorn murmured, taking Legolas’ hand in his own. The Prince laughed, “Aye, the famous Balrog slayer, hero of the realms, reborn, and the bane of the Nazgul taken down by a fuming partner.” Legolas giggled, adjusting his head position. “Sounds like a fairy tale.” Aragorn replied, casting a look over to Erestor. “Might become a reality soon however.” Legolas smiled. 

The day went on like this for hours, until Gandalf eventually roped everyone onto the dance floor and got the band to play – in Gimli’s words – ‘less depressing music’. Everyone danced with sounds of cherry laughter and blissful sounds as they all tried to manoeuvre around one another without toppling down to the ground. After ten minutes, Merry and Pippin ended up falling over Aragorn’s feet and declared that the dancing should become a competition to see who could last the longest. 

Around another hour the only left standing were Legolas and Aragorn, Elrond and Arwen, and finally Glorfindel and Erestor. “Stupid elves…” Gimli muttered, crossing his arms over his red undershirt. “Not an elf!~” Aragorn sang smugly. The dwarf tossed a gold mug at the King’s head which he gracefully dodged and stuck his tongue out at the fuming dwarf. “Yes, this be the greatest Gondorian King, first to sit upon the throne in years, the saviour of realms, the–” Legolas began before Aragorn silenced him with a kiss. “Enough of that, peasant.” Everyone in the room groaned. Legolas pouted as they danced around the floor, “My rights are being taken away! Lord Elrond!” He whined. “Pity…” the Elven Lord replied, twirling his daughter around as she laughed. 

Soon Aragorn’s measly human legs gave out and tripped Legolas onto the ground. The Prince ignored all the King’s pointless apologises as they watched the last two pairs. Soon, Glorfindel stepped on Erestor’s toes and got a painful cry, and a fuming partner as they were instructed to sit out by Merry. Lord Elrond and Arwen were crowned the winners and offered a pipe from Bilbo. Both respectfully declined. 

As night drew nearer, Legolas stood on his balcony, gazing up at the stars high above. He whispered a prayer to Varda before going in and sitting down beside Aragorn, who had fallen asleep in front of the fireplace. The Elven Prince smiled softly before dousing the blaze and finding a spare blanket before snuggling in beside his lover and placing the blanket on the both of them and falling asleep blissfully leaning on Aragorn.

Was reading stuff on your Duchess Noire AU and had an idle thought. Chloe does discover Tikki but doesn't tell Marinette cos she fears Marinette won't trust Duchess anymore & will get hurt. This also feeds into her sneaking around & watching Marinette with her family and that whole… Everything but like even worse now cos she's full on putting Marinette on a pedestal which only serves to know her lower.

"Sooo, its a little weird that you're sneaking around my house spying on my family, but given you've kind of saved my life a few times by fighting Akuma, I figure I owe you the benefit of the doubt."

"The benefit of the doubt..." Duchess chuckles, no snickers into her paw like gloves like its some joke, but there's a sickeningly tight sort of wheeze to the sound that makes it feel like... Not a laugh.

Marinette swallows, and forces herself forward with the words, "So what brought you here, Akuma hunting maybe?"

Marinette watches as Duchesses stiff half poised to jump frame slacken and she simply plops down on the roof, staring at her. This drags on for nearly a minute as the heroes mouth slowly opens then snaps shut over and over as if she cannpt findf the words before finally she sags.

"I'm trying to figure you out."

"Me? I'm nobody special-"

"HAH! Are you for real?" There's a sort of wide eyes look to the heroine, words spilling out so fast they almost tumble from her fanged maw.

"Of course," She snaps back, not quite angry but increasingly worried about her partner and identity. "I mean you're a super hero-"

"I'm a wrecking ball who happens to make a decent damage sponge when Ladybug needs it. I'm not good for anything but hurting and breaking and being a punching bag, not really, I just happened to be pointed at things worse than me Marinette."

She looks her in the eyes and then away again, all the energy sapped from her frame as she murmured.

"I'm nothing like you, and that's the problem, that's what was always the problem I think. No one worthwhile whose met you has anything bad to say about you, in fact they adore you."

Se stood up and began pacing, tail swishing as her hands gesticulated wildly. "You have that creative brilliance that all truly exceptional artists should that lets you create things other people with more resources and time never could. Your parents don't just live with you they actually love you!"

Those last words seem to rip themselves out of her throat as she turns to look down at Marinette, still staring up at the heroine from her balcony as a sick, heavy dread settled in her stomach.

"Your parents love you," She mutters, practically collapsing atop the roof, a violent shudder running through her body, "And mine don't... So I must... I have to be doing something wrong... I just need to figure out what it is." She chokes whatever she was going to say back.

Marinette's mind races between options and explanations; sickness, akuma, maybe a fight? She knows Duchess can be dramatic and overreact at times, but then... Her parents don't live with her? Is it because they travel for work maybe-

Her thought process stops, Duchess is looking like she wants to run away, body tensing, feet beginning to pivot. Only them does she notice her parents making for the roof through the ladder in her room.

NOTES:

I recall hearing that Chloe just lives in a hotel suite and her dad has his own so while technically in the same building she's functionally on her own.

Also I always figured a lot of Chloe's hostility to Marinette was rooted in jealousy. Both seem to be in the same general 'tracks' at school, even art.

I always like ot HC the first two years of their relationship was more of a rivalry but a very harsh one given Chloe was stll chasutic but not as bad.

It, or more Chloe in general, worsened when they were twelve & Audrey came back for her birthday which Chloe was heavily involved in organizing down to the last detail to make her happy.

The party received no compliments, and Chloe was constantly sent away any time she tried to speak to her mother with some new insult about her clothes, or make up until essentially dismissed.

Locking herself in the bathroom she looked for what was wrong, missing or broken in her before finally losing it and just attacking the mirror, seriously injuring her hands and setting her art skills back to beginner levels.

After that she gave up on being better than Marinette and instead focused on tearing her down. Adrien may be aware of the mirror & party stuff but not how much it led to Chloe going from "Brat with a temper" to "Obsessive campaign against this one person who has everything she wants" that steadily spilled out into wildly direction-less antagonism at basically everything.

I've written before on how while Chloé's overall behavior is a mirror of how her parents treat her and how they taught her to treat others.

Her focus on Marinette is because Marinette is so beloved by everyone despite the fact that she's 'lesser' and doing things 'wrong' (according to Chloé's template for 'Exceptional' given by her parents). Marinette has this perfect life with friends who genuinely like her and parents who do more than the bare minimum.

And there's jealousy and frustration. Chloé wants that life, and is confused why Marinette gets to have it.

Cons :

Athos is too old

Porthos doesnt have enough screentime (almost none at all, in fact)

Sometimes a bit too much shaky cam ?

In some parts they dont care about the canon at all. For example, Constance is just single, and there's nothing close to a relantionship between d'artagnan and Milady. I'm personally fine with it (mostly thanks to bbc musketeers) but i know some people will be put off by that.

It's part 1 of 2 movies; even tho they managed to do one complete movie (whith high stakes and a satisfying resolution), they have to set up part 2 so it does end on a kind of cliffhanger

I wish there was more swordsfights :c

Pros :

The swordfights that were here were EXCELLENT. The big one at the beggining ("We're 3 against 20 !"/"No, we're 4 !") is basically ONLY one shot, of several minutes people jumping and swordfighting ??? It was AWESOME

As I say, the movie is complete even without part 2 (and the maybe 10 last minutes), which i think is quite impressive

D'Artagnan is a puppy <3 proud and ready to fight the world, little gascon boy

The romance in this movie is genuinly very good. The men are so in love. Poetry and ache.

The dialogue (especially in the first half) is sooo satisfying. It's quick and witty and sarcastic, i love it.

They made one change with Porthos; well, more like made something canon that i thought was only implied in the book about his character. No spoil, but i reaaally liked it. I hope he gets more screentime

There is one scene with Aramis that is just... 👌 chef kiss. Duris will never be Santiago Cabrera, but the scene where he needs to get infos from a guy ? 👀

They got hats they got swords they got cape they got wordplay, I was satisfied

Btw costumes ? Very cool

And the locations too

(Also the king is autistic, he's me, i love how he talks, it's very fun)

Conclusion : a fine adaptation, not the funniest nor the most faithful but I enjoyed it a lot. However it's only the 1rst part of a 2 parts film so I will wait for part 2 (out in december) to know if the film overall achieves its goals !

911 Lone Star Rewatch: 1x05

Studs time!

So I know this episode kind of gets roasted a lot for a ton of reasons... but I actually think this episode is very fun and funny! Obviously there are also sad parts, but the parts that people tend to think are gross, I actually think are very funny. So unpopular opinion disclaimer, I suppose.

Ahh the firefighter strippers. I love that the ladies at the club all cheer for the 126 when they come in.

Oh man. Yeah Paul's whole storyline is so heartbreaking in this episode.

So I've seen people talking about how when TK tells Wayne that he plays for the other team there's a challenge in the way he says it--which I super agree with. But I don't know if I've seen people talk about the little looks that TK and Owen share with each other through that whole scene. Like when TK reacts to the guy assume 'daughters' and then also when he says 'lock up your sons doesn't sound right'. Because you can see how much TK is looking at his dad for solidarity in that moment. And its so great. Like TV loves to show negative relationships between gay men and their fathers and I love that Owen is always shown as being supportive of who TK is.

The little soldier.

This woman that they have in a few episodes of season 1, who is like the widow of one of the old 126 firefighters... they were really trying to make her like a reoccurring person. But I think especially after Tommy shows up in S2 to function as Grace's friend, there is really no need for her anymore. Which I think is for the better, because this lady is a little boring.

Ahhhhhh yes I forgot that Austin exists outside of the space time continuum where it's only been 4 months since the accident, but also 116 days since TK had his heart broken by his soulmate, which happened after the accident. So they are saying the accident happened 4 days before they decided to find Owen to come rebuild the firehouse?? And Wasn't Judd in the hospital for 6 weeks??

LOL I love TK and Matteo trying to look busy in the background while Paul is getting asked out. Just absentmindedly shining stuff and making faces at each other.

Oh yes we meet Zoe in this episode! I liked her a lot as one of Owen's girlfriends. I think I'm a little partial to Catherine because I'm a major S3 fan. But Zoe is so good!

Also when Owen and Zoe burst through the door, is Owen just assuming TK isn't home??

Also I love how they handle everything with Owen's ED stuff. It is honestly such a healthy conversation that they have about the whole thing. To quote Zoe, "Masculinity doesn't have to be performative" *I would put in some clapping emoji's here if I was on my phone*

I was lamenting about how we lose Zoe with no explanation between seasons, but I remembered that the reason is Gwyn. Which I love having her in season 2... honestly the only one of Owen's love interests that I did not really like having around is Kendra....

"What are they protesting?" "Women." Carlos getting straight to the point.

LOL TK saying "take the leap" to Paul about dating, meanwhile he's having his non-committal relationship with Carlos who he tried to run from even though he thinks he's his soulmate.

So I get why people are upset about Grace and Judd's conversation... but I don't know. I don't think I interpret that scene as Grace pressuring Judd into having sex with her. And maybe the scene could have been done better, but I really think she's speaking towards a bigger feeling of feeling unwanted. That he doesn't look at her and that he's been distant. Which are both things that she says.

Are they not allowed to say semen on network TV? Why do we keep saying 'stuff' and 'seed'. They said nut sack like two episodes ago, but semen is too far??? Okay, but Grace says 'inseminated'!! But they can't say 'semen'?? What are these rules??

"I'm just trying to picture my obituary"

Sooo much happens in the last ten minutes of this episode!!

God, Owen at the doctor when he shows him that needle!! God this scene is so funny. The doctor giving him the casual disclaimer that he's on the board of the company is just such a small detail and it makes the whole thing that much funnier. And of course him saying to call 911 if there is excessive bleeding. "Oh that will go over well."

Judd and Grace are so sweet with each other. Them just giggling at the end of that scene is so cute.

I love TK and Paul's little bowling exchange. TK is so sincerely congratulatory about Paul's awful bowling score. I love their friendship so much. Can you believe Paul officiates his wedding in a few years!!!

So how do we think Paul's date (I cannot for the life of me remember her name) reacted to him telling her he's trans. Because she apologizes for her reaction. Do we think it was that she just left? Or did she get angry? What do we think happened there.

They can say boner but not semen????? Make it make sense!!!

Of course the iconic Carlos line, "what that you're straight? I don't judge." Says so much about who Carlos is as a person.

Can you believe, the fifth 10/10. It's like the scale is rigged. (It is, by me). Okay, only 1 episode behind now! Making progress.

Pairing: Untamed characters x female!African-American!reader

Warnings: like maybe one or two curse words

Word Count: 2912 words

A/N here is part two, hope its good

Lan Xichen:

You meet on the battle field

fierce corpses surrounded you as you tried to fend them off

this went on until Wuxian "died"

the second the battle was over, you fell to the ground

every bone in your body was hurting

most people disregarded you as they checked the field for people they knew

you didn't have to look around like others, you already knew

you had lost everyone

your parents, your siblings, your whole clan

but you couldn't cry for some reason

then Xichen approaches you, noticing you sitting all alone

every person alive had left the field, so you weren't hard to spot

he didn't say anything, he just sat next to you

and somehow that broke you

you just burst into tears

he's quick to hug you while trying to calm you down

he just hugs you for at least 30 minutes while patting your back softly

when you finished crying, he helped you off the field and towards the medics

you stayed at Cloud Recesses for awhile after all that

you often wandered around aimlessly, receiving looks of pity from others

but Xichen didn't pity you per se

he talked to you and let you rant to him

that's how your relationship blooms

you talk about your past, your clan and its traditions

he didn't know any of it before, your clan was very closed off usually

so hearing all the information was interesting to him

he helps you relive some of those traditions if he can

which makes you fall in love with him just a bit more

and a month later, you both have feelings for each other by then

neither of you admit it

it takes 3 more years before you confess

on accident

with the lovely help of 5 years old's Jingyi and Sizhui

but it leads to a now romantic relationship

and another 2 years you marry

and any hope of speaking to you get thrown out of the window

after all, he's still considered a bastard now

but you are kind to everyone, even him

and he knows that you know what he is

yet you genuinely give him a smile when you pass him and you always smile when you talk to each other

he sees you again a few years later

after he moves to the Lanling Jin Clan

you were invited by his father

he doesn't think you'd remember him

you approach him with a bright smile

he was too focused on you

that moment made him feel normal

when you have your first child, he wants to give up his plans completely

especially the hair and face

and right there, Guangyao gives up his whole life purpose

his family is worth too much to risk

you meet when you're children (after the finger incident)

both of you live on the street

you cling to him instantly

he gave you a piece of bread, who wouldn't love that

he is annoyed, but says nothing about it

he thinks you look weird at first

he isn't used to see someone of different race

but he says nothing, of course

you gain him more food for some reason

that's enough for him

but of course, he starts stealing after awhile

you don't agree with it but say nothing

you need to eat after all

as you grow older, you get a bit closer

both of you change a lot

you are the smarts, he's the action at this point

it's a good dynamic

you usually go around as a couple

because saying your friends wasn't received well

so pretending to be a couple is the way to go

and sharing rooms when you stay somewhere isn't that weird since you've been doing that since young age

but even when you were used to it, it felt a bit weird at age 16

you blame it on hormones

but everything just makes you blush

like when he buys a necklace you were eyeing

not steal, but buy

or when he gives you candy from his stash

you should be normal, he always did it before

but it still feels different now

and he stopped thinking you're weird

over the years he learned a lot about you

maybe a bit too much...

it takes both of you awhile to figure it out that you like each other

about 3 months

then you confess on accident

and he's just accepting it

because he feels the same

why else would he do the things he does

friends don't get candy or necklaces from him

you never really marry

he makes you a ring though

one of wood that he had been carving for awhile now

it's very pretty

you don't have kids

he doesn't want to raise kids when he doesn't even have a house

but he does want them in the future

you move and he looks for a place to earn money

you do the same

you work at a small shop

his job is unknown to you

but it brings money in because he comes back and is able to afford a place

you don't know how he paid for anything, but it's a fun place

out of town, but it's a place of your own

you have a child after two years of living in the house

look identical to you except for their eyes

they have his eyes

also his personality

little troublemakers

they love spending time with him

when he leaves for his job, they're sad

he makes it up when he comes back

sits with the kids for hours while he's braiding your hair for you

listens to their stories intently

your kids will reenact the whole story

he enjoys watching them

it makes him feel like he does the right thing

because for his family happiness, he will do anything

Xiao Xingchen:

you are a lone cultivator

you travel here and there

just taking every job you can get

people don't really trust you because you look different

but you get the job eventually

but to your "luck", they send others as well

so you're not alone

2 men stand in front of the house you're supposed to be at

one in white, the other in black

the one in white notices you first

you can't help but feel annoyed though

because he was send by the same person you were sent by

they offer to work together with you so you don't return with nothing

you agree

during the fighting, you get injured

some ghouls attacked you while you were distracted

Xingchen is the one who notices first once again

he pulls you from the ghouls and places you in a safe place

you're even more annoyed

because you barely get hurt

yet the one time you work with others, your arm almost gets ripped off

Xingchen is the one to make sure that you're okay after everything

also the one who heals your arm to the best of his abilities

he introduces himself quickly while he wraps your arm with a cloth

you only later realize that said cloth was a piece of his robe

you stay in town for the next to weeks to heal from the wound and the poison

they stay in town as well

Xingchen visits you once or twice every day

you just talk to each other

eventually, he asks if you want to join him

you decline the offer

but your next job comes around

and he's there again

this time without Song Lan though

Song Lan was apparently sick

you didn't ask more

the job ends quickly

you're not injured

he is...

he insists he's fine

he does seem fine later when he yells at the person who hired both of you

and all because of you, in a way

because you were suddenly not paid

because you weren't hurt, how could you have done your job?

you never had someone standing up for you before

your heart beats a bit faster now, everytime you think or see him

you decide to hang around him after the third or fourth coincidental meeting

he doesn't mind the company, he even likes it

it's a bit lonely with Song Lan being sick

and he likes being around you

you have good humor

unlike Son Lang

but of course, he also has a crush on you

which causes you both to be a bit awkward around each other

you work around it eventually

aka you get drunk after a job

and he has to take care of you

you don't remember anything the next day

you don't know how much you drank

nor did you know how you ended up next to Xingchen in the bed

but it does end up in confessions and dating after

you had luck on your side that day

when you finally marry him years later, you are so exited

you don't do an official wedding

and really, your only guest is Song Lan

perks of being a lone group of cultivators

although you loved roaming around, both of you agree to settle down somewhere nonetheless

just so you had a place to return to every time

which became even better when you were suddenly told you were pregnant

specifically a doctor who found you passed out in your hotel room

and apparently you had two kids in your stomach that were causing all the nausea and dizziness

and the rest of the job you're stressed out

because how can you tell your husband???

you tell Song Lan when you return home

because Xingchen isn't back yet

Song Lan straight up tells Xingchen, congratulating the man

Xingchen is a a bit confused, but he has the spirit

when your twins are born, you have one girl and one boy

the girl looks a bit more like him, her skin a bit paler than her brother's

both have full heads of your hair

you've never seen a man so in love

you're kinda envious

but seeing him smiling at his daughter in his arms while you held your boy, made you feel some kind of way

it's the sweetest thing ever

and it makes you fall in love with him once again

he returns that feeling when he sees you with your son

they grow up quickly, something Xingchen doesn't like

it goes too fast for his liking

his son doesn't accept affection anymore and his daughter suddenly likes you more

but she lets him braid her hair

while talking loudly about something she did that day

his kids have him wrapped around their fingers

and your daughter uses this

even when knowing this, Xingchen still complies with her every request

he's a protective father

he knows what's out there and does not want them to see any of it

but deep down he knows he can't stop it

but he'll prevent it for as long as he can

Song Lan:

(this one was the most difficult, sorry if it isn't that good)

you met quite cliché like

he saved your life

of course, you're forever grateful

so you ask for any way to return the favor

he doesn't say anything

which is a bit annoying

so you just make him a lucky charm

it doesn't too good, but it's something

and you're honestly really proud of it

but when you go back to give it to him, he's gone

so you keep it, secretly hoping you'd see him again someday

you do a few days later

and you just shove it in his hands and run off

you're busy

but he definitely remembers you from before

which is the only reason he keeps the charm

meeting the third time, you were walking around the market

he noticed you from afar

he noticed your hair was tied up into a large braid and your clothes were a bit neater than before

he couldn't move his eyes away from you

which ended up in him tripping and almost face planting

this didn't go unnoticed by his friend

Xingchen was quick to see what he had been staring at and could only smile

it was rare for Song Lan to take interest in others

hence why Xingchen decided that you two should talk

he pulled Song Lan along until the two of them stood in front of you

you, of course, recognize them and smile brightly as you ask how they are

Song Lan doesn't talk at first

until Xingchen suddenly walks off

leaving him stranded with you

and he was horrible with directions

so he has to ask you again

you don't mind showing him the way

so you talk on the way back, not telling him that you took a slight detour

you wanted more time with him, no other reason

you two have similar interests

which is why he asks to be friends

you agree

you don't see him for a few weeks

but when he returns, he comes to find you

this routine continues for awhile

you'd see him once every month or so and he'd spent that time with you

somewhere along the way, feelings grow from both sides

and you get together

neither of you really talked about it

it just felt natural, so it happened

this goes on for 3 years

then you somewhat ask for marriage yourself

he wants too and he's thought about it since year one

but he's afraid with his job and all

so he never went there

until you ask

and he feels a bit bad after that

so he proposes

with a ring he had already bought before

he found it pretty and wanted to keep it just in case

guess it came in handy now

small wedding

only your family and Xingchen

your family honestly doesn't like him much

but they're glad that you're happy

and he'll do anything to make them like him

your first and only child is a boy

he looks like Song Lan the most, only a darker tinted skin like you

Song Lan adores his kid so much

although your son somewhat looks emotionless to others, you can see all the emotions in his eyes

he's much like his father in that way

luckily, he got his social cues from you

and he probably has more friends than his father

then again, that's not that difficult

after all, he had two and married one of them

so you are a bit glad that your son's personality is more like you

but your son loves you both a lot

he looks up to Song Lan a lot

because he has a sword, so he's cool

yeah, the standards are pretty low

you weren't cool, cause you had a musical weapon

he quickly learns that this isn't true

Song Lan still teases you when his son chooses him over you for cuddles or such

he also likes the attention it gets him

he shows affection to your son, but in his own way

Hi, Sadist, I love your artworks and stories so much, as an aspiring writer. I was wondering what you thought of Fyodor's death during the last season 5 episode of bsd, because I felt that all this time he was shown to be sooo intelligent, and then he got fooled way too easily by skk's fake vamp trick (i'm dying), the plot of bsd is confusing me :') AM I alone here??

First of all, you've come to the right place. If you didn't see my other most recent ask, I'm a BSD s4-5 hater, and an Asagiri hater as a whole, really, after seeing the kind of shit he's pulled.

Second of all, let's get something straight here: FYODOR IS NOT DEAD. You can't EVER tell me that 1) a BSD character of importance has actually died for real and 2) his dead body was not even shown on screen and Dazai said "HE'S DEFINITELY DEAD" HAHAHAHA. LAUGHABLE. ATROCIOUS. He's obviously gonna come back minus one arm. Asagiri doesn't care about logic or good storytelling, anymore. It won't matter that a helicopter literally BLEW UP WITH HIM IN IT, Asagiri will be like "um akshually" and then the worst possible plot convenience explanation ever, just like EVERYTHING IN THE NEWEST SEASONS HAS BEEN SO FAR.

Like please. I'm SUCH a hater right now. I don't ever want to see more BSD content. I'm done. Wrap it up. The vampires were enough. I didn't need fucking CHUUYA PRETENDING TO BE ONE AND MAKING THE AUDIENCE JUST BELIEVE THAT FYODOR WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO THINK HE ACTUALLY WAS A VAMPIRE?? HELLO? Smart person, who??? Also tell me how he simulated the red eyes, Asagiri. Hm? How'd he pull that off?

Bullshit.

Fyodor and Dazai came off as intelligent in their first few appearances together. Fyodor's BANGER scene with Ace? I'll never get over it. I LOVED that. Was it a BIT of a stretch in a lot of areas? Yeah! BSD has always been that way. But it absolutely lost its course and any sort of grounding in reality or good storytelling when it came to S4-5. All of the "'''''''intelligent'''''''''' characters are now just plot convenience masters. It's absolutely ridiculous. We went from high school level reading to kindergarten shit.

And I never thought I could be made to HATE Dazai. But these new seasons turned up the "oo I'm so quirky" dial on his character so hard that I completely disconnected with him and Fyodor and couldn't stand whatever scenes we got with them together. The whole prison break scene was devastating, too. What EVEN.

Coming from a writer's perspective, this is just the LAZIEST plot I have ever seen in an anime. Asagiri spent NO amount of effort deciding how to make characters work to get themselves out of whatever pits they fell into. He just went "oh and then this other guy swooped in and fixed it! Easy peasy! I'll beat up Kenji again! And then I'll give him this VERY IMPORTANT rage form suddenly that was NEVER explored and NEVER mentioned until just now! For like two minutes so he can "beat" this guy in a fight and then let him go because NOBODY DIES EVER!"

I seriously can't. I knew Dazai wouldn't die but all the fan theories of how Dazai wouldn't die were better than what actually happened. It's almost amazing the amount of non-effort that went into these season arcs.

After finishing them, I now hate Gogol, Fyodor, Dazai, Chuuya (more than before), Atsushi, Fukuchi, Ranpo (though I've never once had a positive thought about him) and basically everybody--except Akutagawa was okay, Sigma, Jouno, and Tetchou had potential, and Bram was very cute. They ruined everyone else so badly that it felt like OOC versions of them. Or did next to nothing with them, like Jouno and Tetchou. ESPECIALLY DAZAI. I will be malding over Dazai for FOREVER now. Why the hell did they turn him up to 100 on the most annoying parts of his personality???

In conclusion, not a single thing went right in those episodes, it was all "oh this could be go-- [GETS RUINED]" over and over again. There was a SINGLE episode that made me happy in S4 and it was that one where Gogol was introduced and he yanked on Atsushi's leg and stuff and that was IT. LMFAO.

Okay I have to cut myself off or I'll go on for hours. THANKS FOR ASKING ME ABOUT IT, IT WAS ALL BOTTLED UP IN ME.

a/n: There's really not much to this, but I had this idea for how to interpret magic day I knew I wanted to use for @nessianweek. And then realized I know nothing about any of this, sooo....this it what ended up happening. XD

"How on earth did I let you talk me into this?!"

"Because you love me and want me to have a nice honeymoon."

Feyre's voice was soft and sweet on the other end of the line. The 'little sister' voice she would put on whenever she was asking for a favor.

"But I also wouldn't mind Rhys having a crappy one…"

"Nesta!"

"Kidding!" Nesta lied. Well, half-lied. She did want Feyre to have a good honeymoon. And she doubted Rhys would be able to have a bad one while Feyre enjoyed herself….unless Feyre finally found a trade-up. But that was wishful thinking. "Just remember that you owe me. Big."

"It's not going to be that bad, Nesta," Feyre sighed.

Rolling her eyes, Nesta replied, "Easy for you to say. You don't have to go spend the night with him, doing this stupid act."

"You mean the act I help out with every other night?"

"Voluntarily. Hence the difference." Nesta stared at herself in the full length mirror in her tiny dressing room, at the tiny, silver sequined dress she was being forced to wear as her sister's cover. It was really more like a leotard with a fringy skirt. An outfit to help with the distraction.

How her sister put up with this every night was beyond her. She hadn't even gotten on stage yet and was already done with it. Thank the Mother it was only one night. After this, the magician was taking off for the rest of the week to keep Feyre from stressing, but he couldn't cancel his Saturday show.

"You still owe me," she said again, just as a stagehand was calling out five minutes to showtime.

"I know. And I promise, I'll make it up to you. Just, be nice to Cassian."

Nesta shook her head softly. "I will if he is."

"He's always nice to you, Nesta," Feyre chuckled. "You just don't want to believe it."

"Bye! Talk to you later!" Nesta called, speaking over Feyre's last words before her sister started in again on how Nesta needed to give Cassian a chance.

She needed to do no such thing. She'd spent more than enough time with Cassian, being Rhysand's brother. It only got worse with all the wedding planning and events. And then Nesta had to spend over three hours with him every day this past week just to prepare for this darn show.

It was a lot more work than Nesta had expected, if she were being honest. And Cassian was a good teacher. Patient and kind, he never once got frustrated with her when she got a trick wrong for the fifth time in a row. A very different side of Cassian than the cocky, exercise guy she knew him as.

She heard a knock at her door. "Nesta, are you ready?"

Think of the devil. She took one last look at her ridiculous outfit, pressing the pins of her braided coronet deeper into her hair, and let out a sigh. "Yes."

Walking to the door, she swung it open to see Cassian standing there, looking as handsome as he did ridiculous.

He really was quite attractive - not that Nesta would ever admit that. And if he were wearing just a tuxedo, he'd look like a wet dream. But that idiotic cape! It was incredibly cliché, black and top and red on the inside, and made him look more like a dorky tween putting on a magic show for his parents than a professional magician. No, wait…illusionist. That was the word he always used to correct her.

It was all part of the gimmick, of course. The theme of his show. Traditional tricks, with a twist. Hence the cape.

Nesta probably should be grateful for it. Otherwise she might be frozen in place, staring at Cassian and looking as dumbfounded as he did looking at her. Nice to know the dress was doing its job.

"Come on, Cassianini, let's get this over with." Shoulders high, Nesta walked past him, hiding the small smirk that surfaced at the feel of his eyes on her.

It took him a moment, but then he was snapping into action and on her heels. The two took their places, Cassian at center stage, Nesta to the side by some big box device. The stage lights shut off, and they were thrust into darkness as they waited for the curtain to open.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Please put your hands together for Cassian Warrior-Heart!"

The crowd erupted and the curtain was drawn. The spotlights came on, and Cassian was welcoming the audience to the show.

It wasn't until the curtain closed that Nesta could finally breathe again.

"Finally," she sighed as the stage lights came back on.

"Oh, don't lie, you enjoyed yourself."

Nesta let out a sigh. "I don't know if I'd go that far, but I can say that this has been one of the strangest nights of my life."

"I'll take it," Cassian beamed. "And it's not over, yet!"

Her face fell and her eyes narrowed when Cassian began to chuckle at her expression. "Don't worry, Nes. It's nothing too crazy. Definitely not another show."

She muttered beneath her breath how he better not be trying to get more magic, but still followed him when he asked. Cassian led them to one of the empty dressing rooms and flung the door open.

Nesta was speechless.

A candle-filled room stood before her, with one single table in the center and two chairs. The table was filled with dishes - chicken, salad, potatoes, and various vegetables. There was even a small plate of biscuits she was dying to dig into.

"Cassian…what is this?" she asked breathlessly, walking into the room without thinking.

"Consider it a thank you for stepping in for Feyre."

She looked up at him skeptically. "You did all this…just to say thank you?"

"No, I did this to say thank you," he said, pulling his hand out from his back and handing her a large bouquet of flowers that seemed to appear out of thin air. She knew that wasn't really the case, but there were lilies, roses, and lilacs in the bouquet, so she certainly wasn't going to complain.

Nesta accepted the bouquet and took a sniff. She couldn't help but give him a small smile as she said, "Thank you. You didn't have to. But…what's all this, then?"

"An attempt to take you out on a date?" He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I thought I might be able to convince you if you were hungry enough and already at the location."

Something fluttered within her and warmed her cheeks. She and Cassian had always had an amusing relationship, mostly built on a running gag that he was flirting with her. She hadn't realized he may have been serious in his attentions.

Nor had she realized how much she wanted him to be.

"Well, I'd say yes, but there's no chocolate cake. You can't have a date without chocolate cake," Nesta decreed, smirking up at him.

"You always did underestimate me."

Cassian took her hand and led her to the table, pulling out her chair for her. "Did you not notice this completely empty plate right here?" He motioned to a silver platter that stood in the center of the table, on top of a holder so that it towered over the rest of the food.

Picking up his crimson napkin, he shook it out and placed it in front of the plate so Nesta could no longer see it.

"And, because I know it's your favorite Halloween movie…Hocus Pocus." He let go of the napkin and it fell to the table, revealing a large, frosted chocolate cake with truffles lining the edge.

Nesta's mouth fell open and she couldn't stop her hands from clapping together. "How did you do that?!"

"Ah ah ah…a magician never reveals his secrets, Nesta," he teased as he took the seat across from her.

"Illusionist."

Cassian grinned widely, the two laughing together as they dug into their dinner.

jungwon is someone who knows how to sense the atmosphere. he can be calm at the right time, and he can also as well be energetic at the exact time. someone who probably says, “Lets do it!” with a thumbs up that immediately turns into a fist and just randomly takes your hand and run (with you) lol like . . just energetic. might be the joker in a class if he feels like it. hes such a positive person with others, always there to comfort everyone. (but yeah .. if alone :/ a type of to think negative to himself. thats the problem with him ig..) but yeah lets move on again! with the KoP in the otherhand, he is ambitious, protective and driven person. the type to take risks. (but he needs to tone down this a bit though because being too ambitious can fail you.) and ouu if we think it through he might be the type of person who believes with the word yolo too. and last, one of his traits that��s considered positive is, again, he knows himself. he knows what his wants and needs are. exactly thats right. he is aware. he is also not the type to be affected easily by the opinions of others. not to back off easily. though he might prefer to be in sidelines instead to taking the spotlight. a lowkey person.

his negative traits in the other hand is he thinks negatively. (this is not surprising anymore tbh) might suddenly leave you with so many unanswered questions. jungwon is someone who judges, or criticize his own self. a sort of a perfectionist. (this is probably due to his virgo🧍) he also as well someone who lack of confidence at times. self doubt is very prominent. kind of hypocrite too . . like your friend who gives you hopes and thinks positively for you, and is always there but erm with their own self.. which is confusing like what. but theres this saying, its easy to say but hard to do lol buuuttt moving on, he also as well constantly picks up even a little bit of his mistake. jungwon is the type of person who just suddenly disconnects with people out of nowhere, no matter whom.. may be his friends or family. he just disappears and abandons everyone. sudden mood changes always happens too. one time hes all smiley and giggly and the minute hes just sooo quiet and just stares at the wall. he isolates and might neglect his own needs even. always turns his back around and leave. he feels like something is still missing in his’, which he always seem to be in-search for. trying his best to not feel his own existence. avoiding the problems and all that shit instead of choosing it to solve . . jungwon always seems to feel empty to be honest.

Martin totally knows it wasn't Jon. There were two monsters on the loose last time he was in the Archives, he knows both of them wanted to kill Jon. He apparently tried to show Daisy, but it's too distorted.

Daisy immediately trying to intimidate him by suggesting to pin it on Martin himself… I hated her so much when I was first listening.

DAISY "Everyone I’ve talked to says you and him were close." MARTIN "What? [Inordinately pleased] Did they? I mean… I mean, who said that? I, I, I guess, I mean, more than the rest, yeah okay, but–" - Martin immediately getting flustered at the implication is sooo good!

Tape recorder clicking back on and Tim only says "Seems about right"… He'll do the same in MAG 92 when Elias tells them, that their life is tied to him and the institute; "That sounds about right." This is him now. Angry, yet numb.

ELIAS "Killed a man in cold blood? Certainly not. He doesn’t have the stomach for it." - That will backfire amazingly! :D

DAISY "Still a John Doe." [ELIAS CHUCKLES] "I say something funny?" ELIAS "Nothing. Just remembering an old joke." - What was that about? Just being amused at how well Leitner disappeared from the face of the earth? Or something I don't get here?

At this point we didn't know anything about Elias' powers. But it's pretty clear now that he's got some kind of clairvoyance. In MAG 80 he says he knew Jon was talking to someone and now he claims to know everything about Jon's whereabouts. And it's going to get more fucked-up in about a minute or two…

"The thing was utterly still, save for a lipless, scabby mouth, which moved so fast it was almost a blur, silently mouthing words that only Calvin could hear. I love those constant shaky breaths of Daisy during the statement, one time even a quiet mumble when Elias gets to the part of killing Calvin.

So Elias has now successfully convinced Daisy to leave himself and the institute be for now and to only focus on Jon and even fed her more ("my advice is to kill him quickly. There’s no telling what he might be capable of.") to be harsher with him. This way he makes sure Jon gets marked by the Hunt and also tests Jon's abilities to talk himself out of it.

I'm very on the fence with Tim thinking Jon really killed Leitner. He backpedals on Sasha since he's also aware that there were two monsters. With his rage for Jon, I can somehow see how much he just WANTS Jon to be the killer, even to that point that he gets a bit irrational about it. Also the situation with Sasha is really getting to him…

TIM "Maybe it ate her. Maybe it was her. Maybe she was always some messed up mutant and we just never noticed." - :/

We did get the first implication that tape recorders can click themselves on in the S2 trailer already, but only now since Leitner it's going to be reaaaally crazy.

BMT! 🧵 here, loving the conversations right now, especially the input from needle (I don't seem to have this emoji on desktop). I thought I would answer/maybe clarify your two anon questions and then send another post in a bit wrt what needle and you were discussing about brands, longevity, conservatism in fashion, because I have a LOT of thoughts on the subject.

Re: What does a brand ambassador actually do? Answer: not all that much. You hit the nail on the head that we'll see him in Dior for most, but not all, of his public engagements, especially red carpets and more formal events. (As an aside, being brand ambassadors means that some members might actually go to the met gala this year, but their styling is going to be so boring. So close to getting what I want and yet so far.) As far as casual wear goes, there are likely contract stipulations but in reality what that means is that Dior has likely given him dozens of pieces, an entire wardrobe's worth, and they will expect him to work them in as a significant proportion of his casual wear. I also expect at least one ad campaign. He will have absolutely no creative input, which is unfortunate but that's not what this means anymore. You mentioned Hepburn and Givenchy and Denevue and YSL. The days of that kind of close-tie artist and muse are over. They MAY design some custom pieces for him to wear to carpets, which will definitely include his/his team's input (and this will come down to how much he personally cares and how much he trusts his team to dress him well). He absolutely has say over what he /specifically/ wears, within reason, but Jimin isn't going to be exchanging emails about plans for the S/S '24 collection, if that makes sense?

For a more practical example, just look at how LV worked with and dressed BTS as a whole throughout 2021/2022. That's how this is going to play out. @/stylish_bts and @/bangtanstyling are good accounts to follow on twitter if anyone wants to get a sense for what the members are wearing and when. These brand contracts are not exclusivity deals.

Re: Hobi at 3 shows and Jimin exclusively at Dior.

Absolutely not. Jimin is in Paris as a guest of Dior, which means that Dior isn't going to be pleased to see him hanging out at the Margiela show (which is unfortunate, I thought it was fun). Wild to me that people don't understand that.

I'd like to dig a little deeper into Hoseok's appearances though, because there's some nuance going on here that I think most people missed. I do think Hoseok has signed his own brand deal, but it hasn't started yet. I'm praying it's not LV, but I think it might be. I also think it's a shorter/more casual contract like Yoongi's is with Valentino for the simple reason that I fully expect the entire hyung line to be enlisted before the year is out.

Hoseok at Dior was VERY surprising to me. I mentioned in an earlier post that I think it was relatively last minute (not so last minute like he got to Paris and was invited after, but I think Jimin's name has been on the books for at least half a year). I also think his presence there was because of a direct request from Jimin/Jimin's management on his behalf. And I'm sure Dior jumped at the chance. One Bangtan member is a multimillion dollar contract, but getting a second one almost for free? And all the engagement that will come with? Easy decision. I think people miss how nervous Jimin can get (see: UN talk) so I'm glad he had that support with him. It was also made very clear throughout that the brand deal was Jimin's and that Hoseok was just putting in an appearance.

The third show that Hoseok went to was Hermes (forgive me fashion gods I do not have the patience to copy-paste accents on my english keyboard). And this spoke sooo many volumes that definitely went over most people's heads. Hermes doesn't do brand ambassadors. It doesn't do celeb endorsements. It doesn't do anything to make its brand approachable or easy to buy from. That's their entire business model. Their status is so far up in the clouds that it's almost unreachable by human hands. They make Chanel look normal. Hoseok being invited was a big deal. And it makes me laugh at solos who are trying to leverage one brand against another against engagement against whatever. The BTS members, all of them, are an advertiser's wet dream. Their engagement numbers are off the charts. But back to Hermes, his appearance was just that, an appearance. Everyone who knows, knows that they're not going to actually sign him. Because that's not what they do.

So we got Hoseok at LV (invited, advertised), Dior (clearly marked as not The Brand Ambassador Just Some Guy Hanging Out), and at Hermes (Who Will Not Sign Him Ever). Makes that fashion week look a little more different from an invitation standpoint, no?

I did a quick twitter search to see what posts are going around about Hobi at Hermes (I didn't keep up with it) and I don't understand these fans. It only takes a few minutes to do a google search. Not everyone has to know the ins and outs of every fashion house, but damn, it is embarrasing. Talking about being brand ambassador or shareholder? What are they smoking? This reminded me when I took a course at some point on antrepreneurship and business and I made a presentation on Hermes. Yeah, it's in its own category. I don't really agree with their methods to maintain their status and exclusivity, but it works nonetheless.

I agree with you, the hyung line which is going to enlist this year will get a short-term deal most likely, just as we see with Yoongi. I too wish Hobi wouldn't get paired with LV, but they also make it sort of obvious that they're going in that direction. I know they made the announcement for Jackson Wang in the meantime. As to the maknae line, I guess Tae and Jungkook might have a similar deal as Jimin. And it's already closed. W Korea wrote that they started the work for the issue with Jimin back in July, so the Dior deal most likely is in that timeframe as well. And being announced now not only coordinates with FW, but also with Jimin releasing his album and the start of a promotional schedule. It's the entire package. I'm curious what will end up being the favorable time for the other two.

neil - YES lol ttrpgs are right up his alley. itd probably love writing stories to gm but would hate gm'ing himself. has multiple preestablished characters that he just pulls from whenever it needs them for a campaign. deliberately brings the silliest things it can find to act as makeshift minifigs (legos, action figs, thimbles, board game pieces he just Took, rocks, whatever. anything can be a player character if u use yr imagination <3) and gets really into his characters, especially the gag ones

cherry - no. cherry knows who he loves and who loves him and who he hates and who hates them, and theyre content with that and its changes, for the most part. he makes an effort to understand everyone but that isn't always enough to make her like them in some circumstances it just makes her hate them more

paige - It's Complicated. people tend not to like her since, yeah, she's not very graceful or charming and she sure as hell comes off as abrasive at times, but that's compounded by the fact she's very bad at reading or predicting people so she never knows what to make of certain behaviors towards her. is this person being genuinely nice, or do they want something out of me? is this person rude because they're having a bad day, or because they're just a rude person? is this person kind, or just a pushover? you could be the nicest person ever to her and she'd still bend herself into knots trying to figure out Why, if you're just too weak willed to say no once in a while or if you're just trying to suck up and get something out of her. and she tries sooo hard to not need anyone, to stay in her own self-sufficient bubble where she can leverage her own power over people to get what she wants out of them that she kids herself into thinking any kind of relationship would just slow her down as if the fact of the matter is that she just doesnt know how to connect with others on a meaningful level and would rather stay that way then ever admit she needs help. so she just stays like that, viewing everyone as either adversaries or assets or sometimes both, if youre her brother. having friends does not agree with paige jensen and having enemies is a hell of a lot easier, so making enemies it is. toni is a slight exception but let's not worry about that

she tends to joke about things no one wants to talk about. will make jokes about paige turning people into cyborgs to her face and will bring up that one families lawsuit who swear up and down your company is responsible for their daughters disappearance and will do it in the most chipper, sweetest voice and then will move on just as fast as she's said it to some entirely new topic rather than let the other person even process what she's said. her humor operates on saying the quiet part out loud and making people uncomfortable with it lmao

pierre spends roughly 10 years in that company which means 10 years to reflect on how he got there and what person-- whose sacrifice all of this research and development is all built upon and it kills him every single day. he will never stop thinking about the what ifs, about what he did when he was young and stupid and thought he could get what he wanted in the end if he pulled the strings just right. and now he's here and he's loved and revered, sure, but it's not how he wants and it's all built off of her. which i find interesting, because even in death* eveline is less a person in his mind and more of an escapism. something to mourn, lament over, not something to remember as it was but as it could have been.

37. Are they religious? If so do they have a strong sense of faith, are they uncertain, or are they somewhere in between?

oh this one's interesting. scott gives me the vibes of someone who was raised in the church which was then used to supplement his own abuse, became really bitter toward religion as a whole for a good chunk of his youth, and then grew up a little and met people and thought about how people use and misuse it and reconsidered it and is just overall very chill and respectful about it now. never sent his kids to any kind of church, never pointed them in the direction of any religion, but never discouraged them for exploring that sorta thing or asking questions or coming to their own conclusions as long as it stayed in the range of 'be kind to people'. scott marshall is an ex hippie who had to buckle down and work and find time for his family but he never really grew out of the ideals of it so he really is more respectful towards other people's dispositions than a lotta ppl wouldve been in georgia circa 1998. that being said i think that guy probably hotboxed his old churches basement when he was 17 and spraypainted stupid shit on the walls there and like, 20-30 years later he's still hearing the local urban legends about the pentagrams that mysteriously appeared on the church walls drawn in blood back in '71 and he sooo badly wants to say "that's ridiculous! i could barely afford the can of paint back then, let alone blood!!" but he cant. and it kills him

So basically, today i wanna share one of my experience in one of my main DR.

PS :Sorry for not posting for 8 days, i was not doing well, i will try to post more often.

I shift to Riverdale, ik it's an uncommun DR . I watched this show in 2023 and i loved it ( the 2 last season were so weird like...). And if you watched it it's better.

I want to talk about the characters and their personality. We often see our cc ( comfort characters ) on screen but when you haven't shifted yet to your DR, you haven't experienced their real personality and how they act everyday.

And i seen so much people who had shifted for a specific person and their were kinda surprised or shocked of how their cc were acting. I just wanna say that it's kinda of normal because you only see their personality they show and not their personality in private yk? Its not common but not as rare as you can think of. And i wanna share my first interactions with my cc and how i thought they would act and how they really act.

THE CHARACTERS:

Veronica Lodge: I thought she was really a bad bitch, a boss and with vibes of independant women. When i first met her i was so surprised ( not in a bad way ) that she is so sweet and actually not so strong. She is soo kind and she have much of a coquette vibes in real life. She cares so much about others people. It's so crazy. Her personality is the same as in the show but she has a side they didn't show in the show. I love her.

Betty Cooper : So basically she is the " perfect girl " and know how to handle every situations. But not all the time. And she is a lot more mean than i thought. Its not in a bad way but sometimes she is very honest. And she does not have have always good grades. She is so bad at science like its really bad. And she is soo funny. She make me laugh everytime. She wears more revealing clothes than in the show. She really has good style and not the style of a 10 years old like in a show. She is not as perfect as i thought ( Nobody is perfect ). She is really provocative and she is not scared of doing crazy things. One time she jumped of a cliff because of a dare ?!??! Happily she have nothing but it was so surprising. She is really cool and has more of a cool/chill vibes than coquette/perfect vibes.

Archie Andrews : I thought he was more serious. But this guy is literally a child. He have a dirty mind, every time you say something than can be related to ... he is laughing and telling a dirty joke. He is so funny! He is the clown of the class and he is the hell for teachers. He cant be serious for just 2 minutes. But he is so focus in sport than his actually grades. He love sport and everytime his team win or he win he is acting like a child a make fun of us... But i really love him. He really wanna save everyone and that's something not really good for him. Ik he is working on that and hope its working. Its really sentimental and he can cry for everything. One time i ate the last ice cream and he cried?? I really didn't know what to do so i just ran away...

Jughead : I dont have a lot to say about him expect he is like in the show. But he is sooo funny and not that serious too. But he is so intelligent. Sometimes he speak and i dont understand because he use metaphores. I dont judge him for that but he really likes using fancy words to impress us ( that's not necessary ). But he is so sweet and he remember every little things. He is always hungry!! Every two minutes he is like " Aargh, im so hungry. What time is it?? " And he really care about his family. He is really sarcastic and its annoying sometimes but that's ok. I really enjoy being with him.

I wanna to say that i take things out because i dont want to be traumatised 😍. And i made their lifes happier because they deserved it. I really like this DR and its the Show where i first shifted in. This DR gave me the motivation to shift and not giving up. They really helped me getting better and learned things from life. I hope you're motivated to shift tonight and be excited.

Digimon Adventure 02 (Blind Watch) - Episode 50

Eh...I really didn't need a "babies ever after" ending for this story. This episode honestly felt kind of lazy to me, which is a shame. It didn't hit me in the feels like season 1 did and the animation looked pretty rough at times. I can excuse choppy animation mid-season, but for the finale?

Oh well. It was neat to see the time skip designs even though they're kinda bad lol. Now how much of this is gonna get retconned...

Digimon introduced: Pipimon

Notes:

-This episode honestly flew by. It felt like they wrapped up the final boss battle in 2 seconds, which I was actually relieved by. I wanted to get to the juicy epilogue part.

-I appreciated the call back to the international digi-destined. It was nice that they got to contribute again (also makes kids in the audience feel like they could be part of this)

-All of the kids joining together and the glowing lights gave me real Avengers: Endgame vibes lol (people act like the Avengers scene was so special but it's clearly been done in a lot of stuff).

-They went from "you don't need a digimon to be special" to "everybody gets a digimon!!" which felt kinda awkward. Sooo many questions about the "everyone gets a partner now" concept. Is it just kids? What if you don't want a partner? Do they mostly hang out in the digital world or just follow you everywhere? etc.

-Imperialdramon used an attack called "Giga death" which definitely doesn't sound like a good guy attack lol. (Unsurprisingly they changed this in the dub).

-Tailmon finally gets her ring back which I guess means no more jogress evolution. Do they give up some kind of evolution at the end of every season?

-It kind of bugged me when they were like "that world you were in was a world where your emotions are manifested into reality...actually the digital world does that too...and the dark world." Huh? So there's no difference between the worlds then? (At least not according to THAT explanation!)

-Oikawa's partner's name is Pipimon...PIPIMON. Imagine being minutes from death and the last thing you see is Pipimon lol. I can't.

-Most of the jobs the kids ended up with felt like they were foreshadowed except for Daisuke and Yamato. They lampshaded the fact that Daisuke's dream to become a ramen shop owner came out of nowhere but Yamato as an astronaut!? When has he ever shown the slightest interest in science? Ah well...people change

-So Takeru was narrating the show all along. I actually kind of like his adult look, but that mullet is awful...

-The children's designs are...fine, but some of them are WAY too identical to their parents. It also really bugs me that they all have the same digimon partners as their parents. What, are digimon partners hereditary or something??

-So Ken and Miyako are married but...everyone else? They didn't say! So I guess that's the only in-group partnership? While I was trying to process things I kinda thought Yamato and Taichi were a gay couple for a second there. (Just kidding, I double checked and Yamato and Sora are together too).

Digimon Adventure 02 was...fine. A fine C+/B- anime. I felt very few strong emotions to this season or its characters, but it was a fun ride. I definitely feel like the first season had a little more oomph to it, but I wouldn't say it was much better. This season was just a teensy step down. Onto the movies!

Summary: Mawce discovers that their girlfriend, Sylvia, is very ticklish, laughter ensues!

sylvia would do anything for her partner, Mawce, no matter how embarrasing it was. on this particular night, they asked her to come over to stay for a week or so since their parents were out of town for a couple of weeks and of course Sylvia wasn't going to reject the offer, but little did she know what would happen the first night

"thanks for coming over tonight, i really appriciate it!" Mawce said, hugging their girlfriend tight. they had accidentally wiggled their fingers on Sylvia's sides, causing her to squirm and giggle. "wait a minute! Sylvia, are you.... TICKLISH?"

Sylvia snorted, trying to speak without laughing. "Y-yeah. r-really t-t-t... t-wordish..." "that's SOO cute!! awww you can't bring yourself to tickleeee~~" Mawce coos, lifting their girlfriend into their lap.

"ahh, tickling has always been a massive hyperfixation for me but i've never had anybody to do it to! sooo..." Mawce says, Sylvia blushing as they kiss her neck. "would you be so kind as to let me test out some cute tickle techniques on your beyond adorable body?"

Sylvia squirms around again, embarrased of how ticklish she is. "s-sure... i don't s-see why not..." "YAY! you wait right there, my adorable little lee, this ler needs to get some things from their draw~"

Sylvia sat on their bed, trying to mentally prepare herself for whatever could happen. the last time she was tickled was by her big brother and mother when they tag teamed her when she was 7, she could still remember the raspberries on her belly and her mother's sharp finger nails on her sensitive little feet as she lauged her head off. but she was 18 now, surely 11 years without being tickled would be good, right?

her partner soon came into their bedroom holding a box of who-knows-what as they teasingly scratched at it with their fingers, making Sylvia blush and squirm around some more.

"awww, you're so cute when you do that! i can't wait until i can make you scream~" Mawce teases, setting the box down before crawling onto the bed and gently pushing their girlfriend onto the pillows. "now then, where to start on my cute little lee?"

they eyes scanned every inch of Sylvia's body before honing in on her covered belly, giving them a idea. "Ooo, i even have something for you to do!"

Mawce lifts the bottom of Sylvia's loose shirt and brings it up to her mouth. "You need to keep that shirt of yours in your mouth so i can work my magic~ if you fail and let it go? i go full force!"

Sylvia blushed heavily, biting into her shirt and bracing herself. Mawce brought their fingers down and scribbled across her tummy and sides gently, she imediately is reduced to squirming and muffled, desperate giggling, she really didn't anticipate for such soft tickles to be so bad!

Mawce chuckles teasingly, grabbing at Sylvia's chubby belly and shaking it around. "Oh wow, i don't know wheather to be suprised or dissapointed that you've held out for this long without dropping your shirt! hmmm, maybe a toy could help... 'free' you, hehe~" and with that, they took the lid off of the box and searched inside, soon pulling out a pink feather.

"do you get it? it's tickled pink! apparently these things absolutely destroy every lee, even the most stubborn ones!" Sylvia's eyes widen, she's seen tickle torture scenes in loads of shows and movies and they almost always use feathers.

before she could even think of squirming away, the feather was already working its magic on her chubby tummy; drawing silly shapes, poking her before finally dipping into her bellybutton, circling the skin that surrounded it.

this caused Sylvia to give in, accidentally dropping the hem of the shirt which was now covered in saliva and laughing hysterically. "I-YAHAHAHAHAHA!! MAHAHAHAHAHAHAHWCE S-STOHOHOP IHIHIHIHIT! IHIHIHIHIT TIHIHIHIHIHICKLES!"

Mawce smiled victoriously, locking eyes with their overly ticklish girlfriend. "well would you look at that, you just lost the game! do you know what happens now, my beloved lee?~"

"i... know. y-you're gonna... go... full force.." Sylvia blushed and panted, trying to get her breath back. as she regained her composure, she her Mawce chuckle lowly.

Mawce looked at her and licked their lips, smiling wildly. "you're half way right! it's not gonna be me, it's gonna be a big scary beast, wanna guess?~"

their girlfriend gulped, it wasn't going to be Mawce? then who? her answers were soon answered as they pounced onto her, their head going underneath her shirt.

"It's the tickle monster, and they're hungry for your skin and raspberries!! time to dig in!" Mawce announced as they began chomping and blowing raspberries of their girlfriends defenseless, pudgy, hellishly ticklish tummy.

Sylvia cackles and howls as she flails around and tries to shove at Mawce's head to get them away, but they didn't move an inch. "BAHAHAHAHAHAA! MEHEHEHEHEHERCY! IHIHIHIT'S TOHOHOHOHOO MUHUHUHUHUCH!"

She knew that she wanted them to continue deep down, but her ticklish body was in stitches as her lover nibbled and blew on her belly as they made teasing 'nom nom nom' sounds with each chomp.

Mawce held onto her securely, their arm under her back with fingers tapping her sides so her tummy had nowhere to go. "ooo, you're so yummy~ nom nom nom nom!~ time for the finishing piece!" they say whilst they position their lips mere inches above Sylvia's bellybutton, taking a massive inhale and putting their lips directly on her bellybutton, releasing a long, wet raspberry that caused her whole belly to vibrate with laughter.

"AHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!! I - *SQUEAK* I CAHAHAHAHAN'T T- *SQUEAK* AHAHAHAHAKE IHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIT!!!" Sylvia squealed as she thrashed her head from side to side and tried her best to grip onto the bed sheets, she couldn't even think properly as the raspberry dragged on.

With a few tickly butterfly kisses to the belly, Mawce finally stopped and removed their head from their girlfriends shirt and stared at her completely red face.

"Whoops! I guess I went too far, huh? I'm really sorry!" Mawce apologised as they watched Sylvia closely.

She panted and twitched in the aftermath, giggling breathlessly as she regained her breath and composure. she... actually enjoyed it! the attention given to her body along with the pure joy from both herself and Mawce made her feel safe and loved.

"It's... fine, honestly! I... umm.... liked it too... could you do it more often..?" Sylvia asked, covering her face due to embarrasment. Her partner's eyes widened before smiling, pouncing on and hugging Sylvia.

"i thought you'd never ask!" Mawce cheered excitedly, quickly giving Sylvia's cheeks butterfly kisses.

this was going to be an interesting week..

Dance Gavin Dance - Evaporate imagine youre me. imagine you went to reddit and someone told you to listen to their old songs first before enjoying Evaporate. imagine having your mouth gape wide open as the references from older work starts weaving through the music. Even if you dont know the references, even if youre not part of the fandom, Evaporate is still a very good song. It was so good some people was concerned if this is going to be their last long.

5. Noah - Bintang di Surga this is actually a remastered version of an old song the band did when they're still under the Peterpan name. Both versions are just as good but im posting this instead for recency's sake. Look, this song is just sooo fucking good. Especially in lyrics, like there's people who went through their highschool indo lit class arguing about this song's meaning with their teacher. There are conspiracy videos saying the song is meant to be demonic thats why the lyrics are so subtle and filled with symbolism. the song is just THAT iconic. I will not fucking shut up about this. My personal interpretation of the song is about someone who have gained all the power and all the riches in the world but still felt empty, as if shied away from god's light. The constant use of light and flight related words coupled with grand exaggerations like trusting the sky will catch them if they fail or believing everything is created by God for them only makes the confession that their life felt empty and there is no love left for them hits harder. I should really start translating this song's lyrics so other ppl would get it. Every time I daydream about Vriska, I use this song as her background music.
