*just based on my observations, only take what resonates

(Sorry it’s been a minute, I got my time back then I got sick- like same day! I’m good now, thank god, but it was absolutely insane and everything has been going on in the world, my God)

-If your moon opposes your ascendant you may be known for making the wrong impressions on people (especially first impressions) at some point in your life

-Not the first time I said this but I feel like Libra Asc tend to need to balance out aspects of their life more bc of their houses having the opposite signs over them.

-On the other hand I feel like Aries asc have a very straightforward, sometimes less complicated world view bc of their houses lining up with their traditional rulers.

-Mars in determemt and fall (Libra, cancer, 12th house) really gives you a finite amount of stamina

-I feel like cancer venus/moons tend to wax the most poetically and romantically about the nostalgia they feel. Even stronger for Venus.

-Men with cancer placements be like: I didn’t know I was manipulating you into being nice to me until it was already happening (lmao oof)

-I noticed Aries and Scorpio Sun men/masc folks can get romanticized a lot, I think this is bc their identity is ruled by mars traditionally, so they tend to be assigned more masculine traits/act their traits out in a more “traditionally” (or even just comfortably) masculine way

-Aqua Sun/asc/venus usually have some features that makes their face really stand out I noticed (unique brow/nose/head shape etc) (idk why I haven’t seen this with moons as much)

-Signs in your 8th house may come off as mysterious or hard to understand

-You may find it really easy to vibe with people that have Sun conjunct your Asc

-I’ve noticed that a lot of Virgo mars may eat like really spicy or punishing foods (especially if the mars is in a fire house)

-Saturn aspecting your big 3 can help you age really well- depending on how well you take care of yourself (extreme example: dick van dyke, he’s almost 100 and he’s still jumping around with so much energy)

-Pisces placements can be like incredibly intelligent and yet still come off as a bit spacey (one of my favorite YouTubers used to head extra credits and he is SO SMART, like just a seriously huge capacity for knowledge but he sounds spacey when he does his chill gameplays and pieces things together unscripted lol)

-Jupiter square/opposition Sun can make you come off as overly pessimistic, it can also make you come off as optimistic at the wrong times (laughing at serious moments, etc)

-Taurus placements are so motivated by food, it’s so real (the amount of times I’ve had a Taurus sun/moon/mars not hear a word I was saying bc they were scoping out a restaurant? Countless lol)

-I notice a lot of rappers & musicians (especially the innovative ones) have major Pisces placements

-Aries moons get emotional fulfillment by winning what they chase after (Aries in big 6 tends to make you go after things in general too imo)

-I noticed sometimes Leo moon can make you a bit self centered, like in the most literal sense, you may have trouble understanding perspectives outside of your own

-Virgos and Geminis and 3rd/6th house placements have great memory but they tend to forget certain aspects. They tend to forget or mix up details. (My ex took like 3 years to remember my middle name beyond the first initial lol god; also, I always remember zodiac signs but not birthdays lol)

-I love how Joe Pera has a cancer Mercury and his comedy is like the coziest comedy I’ve ever heard, he even got his following bc his helping people fall asleep and just talking through his chill podcast (did not expect him to have like the most fire in his chart tho?? Wouldn’t have guessed lol)- Pisces Mercury and Mercury with hard aspects to Neptune probably have a cozy affect on others when they communicate with them too

Astro observations: celebrity edition part 2 aka latest news roundup

⭐️ Dua Lipa announced on her instagram that she's actually a Gemini rising as opposed to Libra. Now my Gemini detector told me that ages ago but I accepted the Libra rising just because it's my default token "plain good looking and polite" sign BUT it actually now makes much more sense in terms of house placements. Her Venus is now cazimi in the 3rd house - house associated with creative writing and thinking. The ever-changing and fast-moving Mercury is now in her 4th house of family and home situation and she's actually been always moving a lot between England and Albania. That healthy domicile Mercury as well as the Sun-Venus conjunction in the 3rd shows her close connection to family overall.

Funnily enough, her discovery took place during Mercury station in her 4th house. Talk about finding out your true roots (astrological, in that instance).

⭐️ We also now have the birth time of Elon Musk, who turns out to be a Cancer rising. Jupiter in his 5th house of children now makes perfect sense with his 11 kids (and probably counting).

⭐️ If you're wondering why Ariana Grande is the way she is, look no further than Moon conjunct Jupiter - aka her 7th house ruler multiply; as well as both being square to the Sun. Usually Sun square Jupiter can point to legal issues and excess while Sun square Moon often points to broken families. Now add that together and you have… a homewrecker, yaaay!

⭐️ I was thinking a lot about Blink 182 and Tom Delonge (his chart resembles mine a bit) due to him rejoining the band last year and now releasing a new Blink album. Natally, he has a retrograde Gemini Mars so I looked at his progressed chart to see the stationary period. Turns out his progressed Mars stationed direct early 2014, followed by progressed Sun entering Aquarius. Early following year the band announced that he left permanently. One of the things he focused on was research on the UFOs and work with the government. Of course, keep in mind progressed Mars stations for quite a while and his issues with the band lasted throughout the whole 2014 so it makes sense that the final split occured a year later. And why Mars? Well it can literally speak about our focus in life and our direction - where we put our energy. Not to mention Mars rules his MC so it brought him a massive turn in his career. So makes sense.

⭐️ Britney Spears just released a memoir book. Putting aside the questionable fact on who really wrote it, it stirred up a lot of drama. Her chart is one big mine but today I'm only focusing on current transits: she just had an eclipse in her first house of Libra. That eclipse landed right on her Pluto, which natally squares Venus (talking about toxic relationships and exposing them). Pluto itself is making last hits to those degrees as well as it's stationing direct in the late Capricorn. Interestingly I think Jupiter being in her 8th house can point to this as well - it lights up all the secrets and talks about working on past traumas. Now, you're also probably thinking, why was she involved with so many iffy people in her life? A lot of things in her chart point to that but what always struck me was her 7th house ruler - a malefic Mars - being in her 12th house of enemies. And it squares Neptune so they're also liars and exploiters.

⭐️ There's been A TON of celebrity breakups during this Venus retrograde season but I'm gonna quickly focus on Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner because their charts are an interesting example. Their synastry is mostly having planets in sister signs but this also means that if one of them gets hit with a transit, so is the other. Involve Saturn in that transit and you get trouble. Saturn is currently in early Pisces, where Sophie has some of her planets in the 12th house (loss, enemies). Her Mars (disputes, cutting) is at 4° of Pisces while Joe's Mars is at 7° Virgo - right opposite that. Saturn transit stirred up some proper drama: and Saturn is also coldness, being restrained and cut off. On top of that they also have their rising signs in the opposite signs of Aries and Libra and we just started having eclipses in those signs earlier this year.

Not to mention Joe's Leo Sun got hit by Venus retrograde and a Uranus square. Among other stuff.

FUN FACT: according to my research they met for the first time in October of 2016 when Jupiter was in Libra. So, interestingly, not only they had Jupiter going through their angles but Jupiter in their Davidson chart is in Libra.

⭐️ Taylor Swift is currently going through her 10th house profection year (Leo). It would make sense then that her career would take a turn this year considering that Venus was retrograding in Leo. Of course as it turned out she had a massive succes with her ongoing world tour, which is said to become the highest grossing tour of all time.

⭐️ A Vogue article popped up about Rita Ora's and Taika Waititi's wedding that took place a year earlier (they kept all the info and date private until now). Jupiter played a huge role in them getting married (as it often does, especially for a couple like them, who have it strong in their charts, which I wrote about HERE). At the time of their wedding Jupiter was at 8° Aries, which for Rita is that sweet spot between her Sagittarius Sun and Venus (4° and 10° respectively) and Leo Jupiter (13°) - as it completed a grand trine in her chart. Transiting Sun was also 12° of Leo, highlighting that trine even more.

Man I love astrology.

For Taika it was pretty prominent as well although his Jupiter aspects were more sign-based. He had a Jupiter return; his Moon is somewhere in the middle of Sagittarius so he received these fire trines as well. Interestingly, at the time of the wedding Saturn was at 22° Aquarius - exactly opposite his Leo Sun but also sextile his natal Jupiter. So for him it had a bit of a Saturnian flavour that called for stability and maturity.

⭐️ Similarly, I just read the other day that Frances Bean Cobain got married earlier this month. She has a Venus-Jupiter conjunction on top of her Virgo ascendant (interestingly Kurt had the trine between Venus and Jupiter - so seems like a family pattern). Also interestingly, transiting Jupiter is currently trining both her Venus and Jupiter (on the day of the wedding it was trining Venus exact), thereby her natal pattern got repeated. Jupiter is also her 7th house ruler.

Her now husband, Riley Hawk is having a nice transit of that Jupiter over his Taurus Moon - and remember, Moon rules the women in your family as well as your wife.

The scorpio venuses in my life are genuinely the most affectionate people I know. They just have to know that you'll be loyal to them, and they can feel safe with you. But dude, their love is so fucking real. Honestly, with all the other venus signs it seems like they don't like to be as affectionate as water venuses, like they almost find it uncomfortable lol, except maybe taurus or libra venus.

I'm also biased as I'm a Sun in Pisces and love cancer placements, and for the most part, get along incredibly well with them.

oh there are a few. Some of them already broke up though. Believe it or not I quite enjoyed celebrity couples who had also 8th house overlay in synastry somewhere in there.

Similarly, like you mentioned with your preferencce for Cancer Pisces, I like Taurus Sun Cancer Sun couples. That's why I always loved Megan Fox (Taurus Sun) and Brian Austin Green (Cancer Sun) together. I think he has a Capricorn Moon, which I love, it gives perhaps a tad more stable energy than a regular Cancer haha you know. But yeah, he had Taurus 8th house, which makes sense. I think it was already so long that they lasted, it was admirable how long they were together and the family they created, which I think is rather big. But also just the fact that when they were raising children, they were really private about their life, there wasn't much press about the two at the time.

Then I also liked Emma Stone (Scorpio Sun) and Andrew Garfield (Leo Sun), they actually have really good compatibility, despite Scorpio Leo Sun "clash". But then again Andrew Garfield has Scorpio over the 8th house and Pluto in the 8th, I think too, but I would have to double check that Pluto.

I liked Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, which I honestly thought will be the longest Hollywood marriage in history. It sad how it ended like that and so abruptly. Which got me thinking, whether Aries Moons are "fated" to be single parents or witness violence in the family circle. It's really worrisome. Honestly, I often hear the most outrageous stories about how family life really was years after by or from Aries and Scorpio Moons.

And now just recently, Sofia Vergara (Cancer Sun) and Joe Manganiello (Capricorn Sun), now that came as a shocker. Because, just strictly astrologically speaking, they have a bomb compatibility. Like you would imagine these two being together 10+ years. So I thought there will be a longer marriage due to really good compatibility.

I also liked some others, that was better for the both parties to end probably, but I kind of liked Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, but also Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. I think they made sense together, even though they were different, but I guess there were a lot of ego clashes, due to 8th house synastry in both cases and it seemed like it was wiser to break up for both parties.

I think the example you have is really good actually! Pisces and Cancer Suns are so often each other's first love yeah.

This was a really interesting question that really got me thinking.

My highlights from a reading from Nov. 11 on Travis and Taylor:

Someone may be a little reluctant when it comes to this relationship or find out they’ve been reckless or taken advantage of.

Air signs popping up. Could be Travis (or others…).

Maybe a breakup or rumors of a breakup surrounding a breakup having to do with a Pisces, Scorpio or Cancer.

One or both of them may still be in love with someone else. And someone may have something going on on the side, but giving the other person the impression that this is long lasting.

Someone may feel someone is not all the way into this situation.

Some crazy cards in a row: “I plan on proposing,” “using other people for money,”and “we both know this is wrong.”

If not Joe coming back around, maybe a possibly engagement or marriage around Travis and Taylor, but if it’s the latter, it would only be if Taylor goes against her intuition and it would end in splitting up or divorce (eek).

ik shit bout astrology but Joe seems to me like a person Who knows what he wants, is secure idk what level and yes. I feel he is a very bad communicator.  Cause he goes like , "I feel weird" instead of going like "I don't like it. Or I hate this "

I also think as I've been a fan of tay longer than joseph, she's the typa person who is pretty insecure. Maybe I'm projecting but, I feel she's the type to go "if he says he loves me...for...me.... is he for real?" And when someone goes like, "No it is for real" she won't believe easily. Like I do that too cause the crappy shits that have Happened before. And she already makes up her mind. That can be overwhelming for a person like joe who seems very calm and quiet but confident.  Tay is the exact type to be like "I'll search for your darkside even tho I'm alright here." just out of curiosity, i started looking at my art since saturn parked itself in aquarius in late 2020 just to see if it rings true (no pun intended) at all. i know, i've said i'm more interested in astronomy than astrology because astrology has always had this wack-a-doo air to it for me where astronomy is science-based. but it is interesting, though, and especially when you start thinking about those who have died right at the start of their saturn returns, namely the 27 club (biggest example of this i can think of offhand is kurt cobain, who died right at the cusp of his return). it's especially interesting in hindsight, too. if you go through my art blog to december 2020, you'll start seeing art that feels a little more real to me. art that feels like it's coming from somewhere deep inside me, whereas my soundgarden cartoons (made when saturn was in libra and i was living by myself) feel more surface level, even they do look as though i just made them.

all five of these drawings ushered me into my saturn return, starting from the busting down the pretenses in the 8th house to my dried tears as it perched itself on my moon to where it is right now in my sunny 9th, namely with my cowgirl from hell there that i made for carla harvey when quarantine started. yes, the amped and wired comic ushered me into the era of saturn in aquarius, including that one drawing of joey and lars at the diner table that was an homage to both the diner scene in pulp fiction and monk's cafe from seinfeld. all my drawings of alex were done under saturn in aquarius. every single one of them (mr. libra sun conjunct uranus with moon in capricorn and big dick energy saturn in aries, uh, yeah). i wrote fever in, fever out and all my testament fics during this period: in fact, as seasons grey will go almost down to the very second saturn enters pisces and i'm really not sure how i pulled that one off 😅 (i guess it's either that or post right as pluto enters aquarius, but... i feel something else coming there. 😉🪐)

another thing that happened to me during this saturn transit? i discovered my heritage, after not knowing pretty much my whole life, either. 42% belgian/french, 32% scottish, 16% irish, 10% scandinavian, 2% portuguese, and 1% baltic.

and naturally-

i made art there, too, with the french and scandinavian oddness, the british dry wit, and the bright colors of the latin and baltic states.

because i'm not a professional astrologer, my advice is pay attention to your own chart because your experience is going to be different from mine. not everyone is going to agree with me, either. just to really put it in perspective: saturn is one of my main planets next to mars and uranus, so i was already sort of primed for the events to unfold and thus, it's been very healing and empowering for me, even on the extra hard days. you never know: it could be the best thing to ever happen to you and a sign of the fun only starting.

Eclipse Notes, April 8th, 2024 This is an update on the previous post on the eclipse.

Personally, I don’t go with all the Biblical prophecies going around about Salem and Ninevah. A lot of these videos may be well intentioned, but just add to the fearporn and as always, best to study it to see. I do not wish to exacerbate that, but that hysteria has been whipped up is not surprising as it is human to seek meaning with dramatic celestial events and full solar eclipses confound and alarm people.

Eclipses also bering awe and wonder so I’d concentrate on that feeling. But the stories can obscure the truth which takes longer study, and a concentrated effort to peel back the layers to unearth its deeper meaning. Remember as Alan Watts said of Zen Buddhist philosophy: the finger pointing to the Moon is not the Moon.

Eclipses are natural astronomical phenomena that happen 4-6 times a year. Perhaps people just have not paid attention to them before? Simply put; the Moon will align in front of the sun blocking its light to the earth for a few minutes. It is a physically observable phenomenon for those in the eclipse path which happens to be the USA. This is great if you are able to see it, and even if there are clouds, you can still feel it. But many parts of the world will not see it, and time differences can be major e.g. I am in Bali at the moment so it will be April 9th before the eclipse is visible in the US as Bali is 14 hours ahead, so why should there be any concern?

The symbolism of a full solar eclipse is another thing, but to pile on meanings that do not belong to it does not help people remain steady and calm. Not all coincidences or names are significant, only some and there is a need to be discerning. There is no need for alarm. We have three more eclipses coming this year and three more total solar eclipses before 2030. April 8th is an opportunity to witness the sun being blacked out by the moon as it aligns with the earth and that must be truly awesome.

But it is true that the higher the visiblity of the eclipse path across countries and cities, the greater the effect. So the USA is under the path and should see some radical changes there not least because it is going through its Pluto return now.

It could affect us all but as the Sun symbolically represents especially those highly visible characters particularly the male leaders. Though people may think otherwise, some of them have been in power far too long, have involvement with corruption, or have not earned their position by a mandate from the people and who also have histories of abuse. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius we had the French Revolution and even Nostradamus predicted loss of heads.

Benjanin Netanyahu (Libra) Currently he has a North Node return at 15° of Aries, opposite his Neptune conjunct South Node. The Eclipse will still be close to that point in his chart. Masses of people in Tel Aviv are calling for his resignation and it is claimed he has been hurried into hospital awaiting a hernia operation.

King Charles (Scorpio) He was coronated on May 6th 2023 when there was a Lunar eclipse the day before, perhaps using that eclipse energy to boost his status? The April 8th eclipse trines his Mars at 20° of Sagittarius and opposes his Venus/Neptune at 14-16° of Libra by a few degrees but that also conjuncts the South node at 15° Libra, opposing the North Node.

Joe Biden ( Scorpio) The eclipse itself for Biden does not have major connections. But it is square to his Jupiter at 25° of Cancer. His Moon in early Taurus is also square to Pluto at the beginning of Aquarius. His Saturn in Gemini is loosely square to the Saturn/Mars conjunction in Pisces.

Emmanuel Macron (Sagittarius) The eclipse is opposite Macron’s natal Pluto in Libra and will soon have a reverse Node conjunction when the Nodes get to 11° of Aries end of June early July 2024.He is currently not very popular among the French and just ask Senegalese what they think of him.

Rishi Sunak (Taurus) The eclipse is a few degress from his natal Moon at 23° of Aries with transiting Mercury being at 24° But his chances as an unelected billionaire prime minister in the coming general election this year are slim.

Klaus Schwab (Aries) Schwab being an Aries has a stellium of planets (Sun/Saturn/Venus/Mercury) in Aries so the current stellium (Sun/Moon/Mercury/Chiron/Venus and the North Node) in Aries is concentrated there, hitting every natal planet and giving him a bumpy ride even though he is out of the news at the moment.

Vladimir Putin ( Libra) With Russian leader, the North Node opposes his Sun in Libra conjunct the South Node and the eclipse lands at the midpoint opposition to his Saturn and Neptune in Libra. He is already in his 5th term as president of Russia despire having so many enemies.

Donald Trump (Gemini) The eclipse actually trines his Moon at 21° Sagittarius aand sextiles his Sun/North Node at 22° of Gemini so that does not look so bad for him. Being resilient comes naturally to Geminis but the ecilpse does oppose his Jupiter at 17 of Libra and the fact that Chiron is right there too is significant as his own Chiron is at 14° of Libra opposes conjuncts the South Node and opposes the North Node at 15° of Aries. Chiron could bring vulnerability or healing either way.

Justin Trudeau (Capricorn)

This eclipse is visible in the city where Trudeau was born, Ottowa, and that could signal a stronger effect.  It  lands on his natal Moon at 17° of Aries and on the North Node at 15 °. This is opposite Uranus at 17° of Libra.  He has Chiron in Aries at  9° so has already been through his Chiron return. Whatever you think of him, many inside his own government are actively trying to have him removed and the majority of Canadians cannot forgive him for what he did to the truckers. Neptune will eventually cross his Mars at that ‘endpoint’ degree of 29° of Pisces which should be very interesting as Saturn will also reach that point around his birthday 25th December 2025.

These are all significant placements but you could argue in some cases, not major,so no big deal, but eclipses are tricky and events could go either way – it can also suddenly bring people into power who were unknowns. So we can watch out for that too. Politics- or Poli-tricks as it should be called, is well known for concealing vital information or being ‘economical with the truth’ and using Spin doctors to make what is bad look good and vice versa. Watch the film ‘Wag the Dog’ (1997) to see exactly how that is done.

Perhaps nothing will happen immediately to any of them or it will be some other leaders that disappear out of sight. They may all still appear to be in position, but what may be happening behind the scenes is another thing altogether, and we are not being told and events later in the year will bring about a shift in their status.

In the immortal words of Johnny Rotten at the very last Sex Pistols gig in the US- he said sneeringly ‘Ever feel like you’ve been cheated?’

Since the last post received so much love, here is another one :]

Disclaimer: I am no professional astrologer. I do like to observe so here are some of my observations, there are also a few assumptions I make about some placements. If something doesn't resonate with you, then leave it be.

⭐ I think hair ties are ruled by Saturn. See:

my best friend is a Virgo sun/mercury and the way everyone just ask her help FOR EVERYTHING. Her mother asks her to help her lil sister in studies, a teacher asked her to help a student with their studies and it goes on. It has started to affect her studies too since she forgets to take notes cuz she was helping someone. She doesn't say no cuz she thinks it will be rude. I feel really sad for her :(

This is a list of which Hermit is what Zodiac sign based off a post from a Hermitcraft facts blog, and some information from the fine folk at the Hermitcraft Subreddit Discord.  

Now I’m sure we’ve all seen Zodiac memes, memes about what each sign would do in what situation.  They are mostly made up, as with all things astrology, but they can still be fun to read sometimes.  Let’s have a look at some and see how they apply to Hermitcraft Members.  Note before we go in, this is just my personal opinion.  If yall think different, don’t be afraid to say so.

Right off the bat we’re starting with one that looks like the rough outline of a fanfic.

Aries- I could go either way with Tango and Stress being the first to die, but at the same time that feels way to mean.

Taurus- Okay, I can definitely see Cleo and Keralis leaving the server for like a couple days and finding out basically everyone died.

Gemini- Gem, False, and Pearl stealing the server’s briancell to find out who’s killing everyone sounds about right.  Though the killer would now have to find a way to kill False, The Queen of Hearts, Heads, and Body Parts.

Cancer- While I can’t see TFC trying to call out and get a response from a murderer, I can see one of the other three(Probably Joe) calling out the killer as a joke, and then the other two joining in to antagonize them like Phasmophobia players trying to piss off the ghost...and then all getting killed for it.

Leo- Grian and Etho I can see trying to fight a killer.  Cub and Scar might say they could, but they’d probably not get as far as the other two.

Virgo- Beef would probably try to give a dramatic speech before giving himself up to try and save the others, but this is a murderer and not Perry the Platypus, so they ain’t gonna sit patiently and wait for Beef to finnish.

Libra- I can definitely see X telling Bdubs and Ren to stay calm only for them to freak out.  It could probably also work for him telling all the living Hermits this too, with the same results.

Scorpio- Oh yeah, Wels is definitely running out that door.

Sagittarius- It’d probably take a lot of convincing or mind control to get Mumbo and Zed to just turn on their friends and help someone kill them, or not a lot at all.

Capricorn- Same reason as above.

Aquarius- I think I can go either way with xB being the one who makes it to the end.

Pisces- Impy will scream or get scared, but not at literally everything.

Next up is one based off weather they’re clean or dirty minded.  Quick reminder a fair few Hermits have made some innuendos.

Aries- Tango does have his moments.  Stress I’m not 100% sure on either way.

Taurus- You come onto my post and disrespect Papa K and Cleo like this!

Gemini- I can see False and Pearl being a bit dirty minded.  Gem, no.

Cancer- I can see TFC being clean, and Hypno and Joe toeing the line.  Doc, after the compensation joke in season 6, no, that mofo is dirty minded.

Leo- Etho and Grian I can see going either way.  Cub and Scar I see as being clean minded but accidentally making innuendos.

Virgo- Beef can go either way.

Libra- Again, you disrespect Ren by saying he is not a top tier innuendo generator.  X and Bdubs can go either way.

Scorpio- Wels could probably go either way, but be very good at hiding it if he was dirty minded.

Sagittarius-  Nope, those two made too many innuendos for me to think either of them are clean minded.  

Capricorn-  Nope, Jevin and Iskall aren’t clean bois.

Aquarius- I can see xB going either way.

Pisces- That one’s accurate.

Is actually Bill Nye- I can see them all being good, smart lab partners.

Wait what?- You dare tell me Cubfan135 with his Astrophysics Degree wouldn’t have a fucking clue what’s going on in a science class?  Those are fighting words.

I just want a good grade- Doc and Cleo are both capable of getting more than just a good grade.

“Accidentally” blows up the school- Unfortunately, this is the most accurate one based off Mumbo and Zed.  I can imagine them both being the kid in the meme below.

In short, Zodiacs aren’t accurate, but they’re funny.

Metal Vocalist Indicators in Astrology

I decided to do something a little different to practice reading natal charts so I had the idea to look at metal vocalists' natal charts. Unfortunately, for many of them I couldn't find any birth times so these will mostly be aspects and planet placements. I was specifically aiming for metal vocalists that actually "scream" and not just sing, even if the music they make is more like rock rather than metal to see if there's any significant indicators. So i'll start this list with the placements I saw the most.

Water Mars

This is the placement that appeared the most. I was actually very surprised at first to see this placement pop up A LOT. But the more I thought about it, the more things added up, because of how much water mars bottle up how the feel. I think water mars channel the energy of metal music very well. I was expecting to see a lot of fire mars, but I only saw a sprinkle of leo mars and aries mars here and there.

Examples:

Scorpio mars: Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Marilyn Manson (Marilyn Manson), Angela Gossow(Arch Enemy), Joe Duplantier (Gojira), Franz (Attila), Kadeem France(Loathe), Winston McCall (Parkway Drive).

Cancer mars: Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Caleb Shomo (Beartooth), George Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Chris Roetter (Like Moths to Flames), CJ McMahon(Thy Art is Murder), Alex Koehler (Chelsea Grin), Ben Burnley (Breaking Benjamin).

Pisces mars: Chino Moreno (Deftones), Zach de la Rocha (Rage against the machine- yes, i know, he raps, but he does in fact scream in his music), Frank Mullen (Suffocation), Jake Luhrs(August Burns Red).

Mercury-Uranus

This placement makes a lot of sense, because this placement is a huge indicator of having a unique voice in general. I mostly saw a mix of harsh aspects(conjunction, oppositions and squares.), but there were some harmonious placements also.

Most of the people on this list above had this placement, but here are some without water mars:

Ex:

James Hetfeild-conj.(Metallica), Tatiana Shamayluk-sextile(Jinjer), Maynard James Keenan-trine(Tool/ A Perfect Circle), Morgan Landers-sextile(Kittie).

Mars-Uranus

People with this placement have a desire to express themselves through ways that are considered 'out there', hence, this is a good placement for metal vocalists(screaming).

Ex:

Tom Araya -conj.(Slayer), Corey Taylor -opp.(Slipknot), Maria Brink -square(In This Moment), Lacey Sturm -Trine (Flyleaf), David Draiman -square(Disturbed), Chad Grey -Trine(Mudvayne).

Extra Indicators:

These placements weren't as common but I saw some synchronicities to them, so here are some extras.

Mercury-pluto/lilith/saturn- I suppose these placements could sort of an edge to how people communicate, but it wasn't super abundant.

Sun-Mars - this was fairly common, and ofc it makes sense that people with this aspect would do something as bold as scream in music.

Moon-mars - This one wasn't super common but I could definitely see how people with this placement could be potential metal vocalists.

Leo Mars- after all the water mars this is the other more common mars placement. Roar, Leo, roar!!

Taurus Mars- Yet another placement I was not expecting, but I did see it in a lot of people's charts.

Possibly Virgo moon- okay, to be fair, again, most of the natal charts I looked at didn't have birth times so this could be inaccurate. If it wasnt for that I would've put this placement at the top of the list with water mars, but from what I saw a-hell-lot of vocalists had this moon sign.

Conclusion

I'm going to be honest, I was expecting to see a lot of aquarius or aries, but to my suprise that wasn't the case. But the point of this post isn't to say that you MUST have these placements to be a vocalist or whatever, but just to see what kind of energy is most likely to be suited for metal screaming. I put a lot of time into researching this stuff, but it was fun anyways😁.
