Chapter Sixteen: One Hell of a Hire

Summary: The true surprise visitor is revealed, and the Phantomhive Manor attends Sebastian's funeral.

“Well, now that the Professor has gone, I shall see to luncheon,” said Sebastian, smiling with (Y/N) as if they hadn’t just scared a man out of his wits and threatened him.

“Wait,” said Ciel. “I kept silent because it seemed like you purposefully didn’t want to bring it up in front of him, but you haven’t yet explained how Phelps’s murder occurred.”

“Oh, quite right,” said Sebastian.

“In an interesting turn of events, Lau had the right idea,” said (Y/N). “We had a surprise visitor.”

“What?!” cried Ciel.

“Yes. While I was free to roam before arriving as Jeremy, I caught him and showed him special accommodations here,” said Sebastian, crouching and pulling a crate wrapped in chains from under the table.

“You did? Oh, good. After seeing his little friend, I thought I’d have to track him through the woods,” said (Y/N).

“The killer is in there?!” Ciel deadpanned.

“Yes,” said Sebastian.

“…Let me see what’s inside,” said Ciel.

“Are you sure?” said Sebastian.

“Don’t put on airs, open it!” commanded Ciel.

“Very well,” said Sebastian, breaking the chain and opening the box.

Two snakes lunged from the crate at Ciel, and (Y/N) caught them. Ciel jerked back in surprise.

“Well, they certainly still seem to hold some ill will against you,” remarked (Y/NN), holding the snakes.

From within the crate, a figure could be seen. (Y/N) nodded as their suspicions were confirmed, and Ciel’s eyes widened.

“Y-You’re Snake!” he exclaimed.

Snake, the circus performer, stood in plain clothes, bound in rope and gagged. He glared at the group sullenly.

“Why are you here?!” demanded Ciel as Sebastian removed the gag.

“The day after Black, Smile, and Cat snuck into the tents of Joker and the other first-stringers, they all went missing! It must have been your doing! -says Wilde,” said Snake. “So I followed the scent of Smile’s costume and went after him. -says Oscar. We found a townhouse, and two helpful men thought we were friends of Smile ‘Ciel’ and brought us here. -says Emily.”

(Y/N), Sebastian, and Ciel deadpanned. Of course Agni and Soma had gotten it wrong.

“Those fools!” Ciel gritted his teeth.

“All the same, there is nothing we can do to rectify that now,” said Sebastian.

“Soma really is too friendly,” said (Y/N).

Ciel coughed and faced Snake again. “Uh, so, you’re saying they vanished because of us?”

“Yes! The minute you three joined our troupe, they all started acting strange! -says Wordsworth. I knew somehow that Joker and the others were hiding something from me.” Snake looked down. “But! They called me their comrade and their friend even though I looked like this. They said we were family. You stole them from me! I’ll never forgive you for that! -says Wilde.”

Poor thing. He had no idea what they were doing, thought (Y/N).

Ciel enlightened Snake. “Your circus troupe was kidnapping children one after another from each stop on its tour. We joined up with you to seize any evidence of those crimes.”

“Joker and the others were kidnappers…?” Snake’s eyes widened. “L-Lies! You’re trying to trick me with your nonsense! -says Oscar.”

“Nonsense? Perhaps,” said Ciel. “Before I could gather the necessary proof, my identity was discovered, and they disappeared. In that sense, I may had indeed stolen your peace away. But I also wanted to rescue the children who were suffering because of your friends.”

Sebastian and (Y/N) glanced at Ciel. So that was the story he was going with. Now that was a lie that could blow up in his face if it were discovered.

“Naturally,” continued Ciel. “I would like to rescue you as well.”

Snake watched in surprise as Ciel freed him. “What do you think you’re doing?! -says Wilde.”

“Young Master!” warned Sebastian.

“Snake,” said Ciel. He extended a hand. “Come to my manor.”

Sebastian and (Y/N) blinked.

“What are you saying?! -says Keats,” said Snake.

“Didn’t you hear me? I said I would like to rescue you,” said Ciel. “Even now, we’re still on the hunt for Joker and company. Of course, I ask for the sake of solving the case, but…don’t you think that staying here would be the shortest route to seeing them again?”

Lies like these always end up causing trouble. (Y/N) narrowed their eyes slightly.

“Having lived with them in the circus, I know they’re not evil,” said Ciel. “They were nice to everyone they met and cheerful to boot. That’s why I want them to atone for their sins and obtain true happiness. All of them, including you.”

“Including me…” Snake’s eyes fell to the ground. He reached out and took Ciel’s hand.

“I never imagined you would install him in the manor,” said Sebastian as they left the greenhouse, leaving Snake to relax within.

“It’s better than setting him free and having him make attempt after attempt on my life,” said Ciel. “His ability to manipulate snakes seems like it might come in handy as well. Besides, I’ve been wanting a pet.”

“You lied to him,” said (Y/N). “Aren’t you concerned about the possible consequences?”

“If I continue the ‘lie,’ it will eventually become the ‘truth,’ ” said Ciel. “It’s just a matter of swallowing it all up in the end.”

“…Quite,” said Sebastian.

(Y/N) wasn’t nearly so convinced.

“More importantly, how do you explain yourself to the other servants?” said Ciel.

“Ah, yes, they don’t know I’m alive…” said Sebastian.

“I have an idea,” said (Y/N). They grinned. “And you’ll have fun, Sebastian.”

Inside a coffin, Sebastian lay still as Agni, Tanaka, Baldroy, and Finny carried him from the church to the grave. Undertaker stood beside the gravestone, for once somber, and Elizabeth held back tears until they bubbled over. Finny and Mey-Rin were already sobbing, and the tears streamed down their faces as the coffin was lowered into the grave and covered by dirt.

“Ciel!” She embraced him. “Sebastian is such a liar! He vowed he would never leave your side. How could he do this?!”

Soma grabbed him from the other side. “Don’t cry, Ciel! ‘Cos we’ll always be together, okay? Forever and ever!”

“Both he and I are truly fortunate to have people who care so much for us so much,” said Ciel. “Come, let’s return to the house.”

The group turned from the grave, huddled in a group of black.

Then the bell rang.

(Y/N) smirked but let Finny be the one to turn in curiosity.

“The bell on the headstone is ringing…?” Finny blinked. “But there’s not even a breeze.”

“Oh, dear. Oh, dear.” Undertaker chuckled. “Is this really any time to be cooling your heels? That bell ringing, why…it means he’s still alive.”

“Dig it up!” cried Agni, Finny, and Baldroy. They ran forward with the shovels they had just buried Sebastian in. Finny ripped open the coffin, and Sebastian sat up.

“Goodness,” he remarked. “I finally managed to get out of that. Everyone al—Eh?”

While (Y/N) grinned, Mey-Rin, Finny, Baldroy, and Elizabeth tackled Sebastian in a hug. They wailed and cried their thanks and worry over him as they refused to let him get out of their hold.

“Everyone, please calm yourselves,” sighed Sebastian, unable to escape the affection.

“Glad we went with a safety coffin!” chirped Undertaker.

“How lucky,” said (Y/N) brightly.

“This is a miracle!” cried Agni, crying in joy. “Oh, gods! I thank you!”

“Whew,” sighed Sebastian after he extricated him from the group and left them to cry for joy against each other. “What a relief to have fooled them with that level of shock tactic.” He glanced at (Y/N). “Though I believe you intended for me to be attacked.”

“With hugs? Oh, absolutely,” said (Y/N) brightly. “It was entertaining.”

“Sebastian.” Tanaka walked up to Sebastian. “I return this to you.” He pinned the butler emblem onto Sebastian’s tailcoat. “This is the proof that you are the butler to the Earl of Phantomhive. And right now, it belongs on your chest alone.” He smiled before turning away. “The butler of the Phantomhive family is not permitted to pass away before his master does. Remember that!”

“And so, Sebastian, from this day forth, you are my butler once more,” said Ciel.

Sebastian knelt and put a hand to his chest. ((Y/N) decided that although they had liked Sebastian leaning over them, him on his knees was nice) “Yes, my Lord. I shall devote myself wholly to serving you until the day when lies become truth comes to pass.” He smirked before standing. He paused and called to Elizabeth, “Oh, yes, Lady Elizabeth. Excuse me for my impertinence, but please allow me to correct you on one small matter.”

Elizabeth blinked. “Did I say something?”

Sebastian winked and put a finger to his lip. “I never tell lies.”

(Y/N) grinned. Sebastian was well and truly back.

“So, Snake is getting along with everyone,” said (Y/N). “What a relief after all that hard work.”

“If I recall, I was the one who had to die,” said Sebastian in amusement. He sighed dramatically. “And you shed hardly a tear for me.”

“Well, you weren’t dead,” said (Y/N), rolling their eyes. They smirked. “What a pity for Earl Grey when he finds out.”

“Yes, I imagine he’ll be frustrated,” said Sebastian. He rather enjoyed the idea.

“After causing you all that trouble, he deserves it,” said (Y/N). “He was quite brutal with you.”

“And yet it still didn’t cause any grief in you,” sighed Sebastian.

“Again, you weren’t dead,” chided (Y/N). “And you can handle a bit of pain.”

“No sympathy?” Sebastian tilted his head and smirked. “You truly are a heartless demon.”

“Who taught me to be that?” said (Y/N). They sighed. “But if you insist upon me humoring you, then yes, I wouldn’t be pleased if you died.” They glanced at him. “You’re my only friend, after all.”

Sebastian paused, not anticipating the honesty. “You wouldn’t be pleased?”

“Sebastian, you know I wouldn’t,” said (Y/N). They loved him. To lose him would be unthinkable. “I mean, I didn’t like seeing you in a coffin. Demons like us don’t deserve to be placed in little boxes.”

“You didn’t enjoy your time in a coffin? Not ornate enough for someone like you?” said Sebastian with a smirk.

“I didn’t go in a coffin,” said (Y/N). “Remember? I burned to death.”

“Occasionally the humans still bury burned bodies, if I recall correctly,” said Sebastian.

“Oh, they made sure there was nothing left of me,” said (Y/N). Their gaze was far away for a moment, and Sebastian realized he had touched too far. They snapped out of it and smiled at him. “Anyways, better not to be stuck in a coffin. Who else would torment humans if I’m not here?” They turned away and walked to their chores, clearly not looking to speak more.

Sebastian watched them go. What was their human life? And what humans should I tear apart for daring to harm my love?

More to the Madness Pt. 13

Ledger!Joker x Female Reader series

Summary: Joker is arrested and thrown in a holding cell at the MCU. You carry out your own mission to be there for when he breaks out.

Warnings- Mature language, violence, crime, mentions of murder, incorporated elements from TDK, ages 18+

It's only been a few hours since Joker's been captured and taken to the Major Crimes Unit. He had surrendered easily without so much as a fight. Jim Gordon, who was presumed to he dead, was the one responsible for arresting him. Out of all the possible scenarios that could have turned out, it went the way it was anticipated. J wanted to get caught.

He had to get inside and retrieve Lau, who's locked up in there good and tight. Joker had made a deal with the Mob that he'd get them Lau, since he is the one that knows where all of their money is being kept. The only way to do that was to get inside the MCU, where Lau was held and protected at.

You figure J's currently working on his plan of escape, and he has until a certain time. As of right now, both Harvey Dent and his "squeeze" Rachel Dawes are tied up at two separate locations. They are in rooms filled with oil drums that are rigged to explode through a timer. Joker has to take the attention away from him so he can easily escape with Lau. That was his getaway plan, but also a twisted game to play on Batman. And now, you have to do your part and be there when J breaks out.

The clock's ticking. There's no room for any breaks or errors. You are moving as quickly and accurately as you can with the limited amount of time that you have.

There are a handful of police officers and detectives over at the MCU that could easily be bribed. With a solid arrangement, they'll do just about anything for a large sum of money. Luckily, J's goons already had a customer lined up for you. Derek Turner, a police officer on the verge of losing his house due to gambling debts. Turner was desperate so he immediately took the bait.

It's late into the night, and you are on your way to meet up with Turner now. You're on your own for this one, but that's not going to be a problem. Slung over your shoulder is a medium sized duffel bag- filled with fifty thousand dollars in cash. The agreement is set for officer Turner to arrest you and bring you into the building, in addition to prividing you with explicit details about the situation of Joker's lockup. At least.. that is how the officer thought it was going to go down. The real plan is you're going to knock him unconscious and hijack his police cruiser. Then you're going to use it to discreetly pick up J and Lau at the station. The police scanner will also serve as a useful tool in signaling when you should move.

Deep in between the alley of two apartment buildings is where you're set to meet. When you arrive at the location, you carefully enter the alleyway. Trying not to be heard or seen just yet. First, you have to find a spot where you can set up your device that would distract officer Turner.

As you come up on a corner, you stealthily peek around it to see if you can spot him. Sure enough, you find him waiting. A few yards away, perched on the hood of his cruiser while smoking a cigarette. You retract from the junction and look for a place to set your gadget. There's a large dumpster bin against the wall close to the edge of that corner. Figuring that's a suitable spot, you pull out the device from the duffle bag, which is a little plastic kitchen timer. It may not seen like much, but it'll ring loud enough to grab the officer's attention in case you need it to. You crouch down slightly by the bin, turn the dial to eight minutes, and set it on the lid of the dumpster. If you can't find an opening of your own to knock him unconscious within that timespan, then this timer will give you that chance.

You take a deep breath, then turn the corner. Walking with heavy steps to get his attention. He notices your arrival and flicks the cig onto the dirty floor.

"It's about time!" Turner huffs in annoyance. "You're alone, right?"

You walk near him and stop when you're a couple meters from him. "Mhm, just me."

He waves his hands at your attire. "You are not what I was expecting to show up. It's a bit much. But whatever, fuck it. You got the money?"

"Right here." You pat the duffle bag before slinging it from your shoulder and tossing it in his direction.

He catches it, opening it up to confirm that there's cash inside. Rummaging through the stacks of bills. "It all here?"

"It's all there," you affirm. "Now are you all set for your end?"

The officer sucks air through his teeth. "Yeah.. about that. You see, the stakes are really high right now. So I'm gonna need a little more than this before I go through with it."

His demand for more money makes you scoff. This man is obviously very greedy.. and stupid. You roll your eyes at him. "The deal was fifty. You can't alter it."

Turner's eyes scan your body and he sucks his tongue before speaking. "Another fifty. Or I'll walk, sweetheart."

What an asshole. It takes everything in you to hold back from launching your throwing knives at his smug fucking face. Instead, you pretend to ponder on his ridiculous demand. "Look, I don't have time for this. Now you can either accept what we agreed upon and carry out your end, or you can walk away and lose your house. So what's is going to be?"

Turner scoffs at you, "it's like that, huh? Well how about I just shoot you and take the money anyway?"

Oh, he threatened you. You ball your fists and glare angrily at him. He had to threaten you. If he wants to play this game with you, then fine. You smirk at him, "alright sure, you can go ahead and do that. But you should probably consider your family, officer Turner. You'd have to worry about some of the Joker's other- not so nice- henchmen paying them a visit. And believe me when I tell you that you wouldn't want that to happen. So yeah, it's like that."

"Fucking bitch! What are yo-" He spits sharply at you before being cut off.

"2450 Acadia Street, right?" You state apathetically.

His eyes widen, and he nearly croaks at the abrupt mention of his home address.

It's true that you and a select few of J's crew knew personal details about this officer. But it wouldn't be your call to actually bring any kind of harm to this man's family. You only want him to think that. The thing is, you have to find a way to get this cop to let his guard down. Because he's been on high alert since you've got here. Keeping his hand in close reach of his firearm in case he feels the need to use it. So like it or not, you need to be patient and wait for the opportunity to make your move. No matter how badly you want to just get it over with right now, you don't want to give him a reason to start shooting at you first.

After thinking it through to himself, Turner sighs. "Shit. Alright then.. alright. I'll do it."

"Hm, smart choice." You couldn't help but think you sounded like J in that moment. He must be rubbing off on you. "Well then, everything good to go?"

He quickly zips up the duffle bag and throws it over his shoulder. "All set."

"Good. Hide the bag and let's move."

You make your way over as he pops the truck of the police cruiser, watching him stash the money in a hidden spot. He tells you that you'll need to remove all of your weapons before he takes you in. You nod in agreement and begin withdrawing your weapons. The entire time, you're thinking about how the timer should be going off soon. You toss both of your throwing knives into the truck and go for your gun.

At that moment, the timer finally goes off in the distance. The noise is loud as is rattles against the dumpster lid, the ringing echoing throughout the alley. It instantly catches the officer's attention and he turns his head to look in that direction.

He's distracted, now's your chance!

Flipping your gun over, you pistol whip the officer. Effectively knocking him out.

"Crooked cops." You mutter to yourself, recollecting your knives and placing them back in their slots.

After making sure the officer was going to be out for a while, you take his handcuffs and cuff his hands together. You drag his unconscious body towards the building, placing him against the wall. He was never going to get any of the money, you figured he'd probably blow through it gambling again anyways. You then hurriedly make it back to the police cruiser. Slamming the trunk before getting into the car and driving away.

It's been almost an hour since you've sat here waiting. You are sitting in the police cruiser, parked about two blocks away from the MCU. So far, you've just been listening to the police scanner. Waiting for the signal to start moving. The longer you sit here, the more you think about how much farther you should've parked from the establishment. You worry that you might be too close to it. There's cops surrounding that place. You were smart enough to hide in a parking garage rather than parking on the street in plain sight. But still, you would very much like not getting caught.

Finally, you hear sirens going off in the distance. It sounds like a lot of them, too. You turn up the volume on the scanner and listen closely. Someone starts talking through the channel, you can easily make out that it's Jim Gordon's voice.

"All available units, converge at 250 52nd Street!"

That's your signal to move. Quickly, you turn on the car and exit the garage.

As you get closer to the MCU, you notice that there are no cops outside. Not in front of the building at least. There aren't any other police cruisers either, good thing you snagged this one. Most of the officers must have left with Gordon. Which works out wonderfully in your favor. You park directly across the street, then you duck your head and wait. If Joker is successful, then you know exactly what's going to come next.

Sure enough, a few moments later.. BOOM!

A massive explosion goes off inside the structure, bursting through all of the windows. You look up to see smoke and dust coming out from the broken windows.

"Oh shit!" You exclaim to yourself.

J did that. He really did that.

You pull the car up right in front of the building. That way, it's easier for J to see you when he comes out. If he does. You nervously tap your fingers on the steering wheel. That was a big explosion, you hope that J didn't get hurt by it. There is no movement that you can see inside. Your fingers continue tapping.

He is fine. He's smart and found cover.

A moment goes by, and there is still nothing. Meanwhile you are scanning all of your surroundings. You are making sure you're not spotted, and searching for any sign or sight of J. Then, you see a movement at the entrance of the building and let out a sigh of relief.

J emerges from the destruction. It's hot seeing him stide away from aftermath of the damage he's caused. He's got his usual attire on, though his trench coat is slung over his arm. His hair's wilder than usual and half of his greasepaint had come off. He also has a dusty police hat on his head which you find rather amusing. You were so focused on J, that you didn't even notice the other man with him. It's Lau, walking defeatedly with his hands cuffed behind his back.

You honk the horn and roll the window down to get J's attention. His eyes shoot towards your direction and a smile stretches across his face. He's got this look in his eyes which you would describe as proud. Of you or himself, that you are unsure. But something inside of you tells you that it's meant for you. So you grin back and wave him over. He harshly nudges Lau in your direction. The Chinese man looks beyond terrified, stumbling all the way over to the vehicle.

"Hey good looking, you need a ride?" You ask in a flirtatious manner.

J licks at his scars. "As a matter a fact, I do. Me and the squealer here." He pats Lau on the back, who visibly tenses at the touch.

You motion towards the backseat. "Well hop in. I'll give you a lift."

"My, what a doll."

J opens the backseat door and shoves Lau inside. He then takes the hat from his head, and carelessly flings it towards the building. A final touch to the devastation he's just caused. Much like how an artist adds the finishing touch to their creation. In this case, J is the artist and the shattered structure is one of his masterpieces. Talented is he in the craft of total chaos and destruction.

It's something you shouldn't admire about him, yet you do. You admire all of it.

"Scoot." He shoos Lau over to the otherside so he can get in. The man slides across the seat reluctantly, his eyes going wide as he watches J. He's clearly dreading the thought of being trapped in such a tight space with this dangerous man. J tosses the coat onto the middle seat and climbs inside. Once the door is shut, he signals for you to go. You throw the car in drive and floor it out of the area.

Joker sat in the back, listening attentively to the police scanner for an update on the Harvey Dent and Rachel Dawes situation. Once he heard that Dent was the only one to make it out alive, he cackled in triumph. If that was the outcome, then things went precisely how he'd expected. He knew that Batman was going to go after Rachel. But J still has big plans for Dent. So he had intentionally switched their locations when he told Batman where to find them. The vigilante never stand a chance against the Joker's cruel game.

You peek at him through the rear view mirror. "Went as you wanted, J?"

"Went as expected." He states rather plainly. "That Batman's got a good right hook."

"He hit you?" The question came out of your lips quick and concerned. However, J just laughs it off as nothing.

"Sure did." He stretches his limbs to the best of his ability in the space he's in. "Now, I've been cooped up in that place for a while. How about I tell ya all the juicy details later?"

"Sounds good." You reply smoothly.

A satisfied hum leaves his lips. "Great. So let's get this party going, huh. I want ya to drive this car like ya stole it. Because you did."

You give a jaunty nod in response. "Yes sir."

A surge of adrenaline rushes through your body as you pick up a higher speed. You even turn the siren on to let all the other drivers know to stay out of your way. Because you were definitely blowing past stop lights and swerving around cars. J seemed to be enjoying himself, while Lau sat back there looking scared for his life.

The smell of the explosion was heavy on them both. Smoke and gunpowder. It began to permeate the inside of the car. J has you roll both of the back windows down to air it out. But of course, being the unpredictable man that he is, J stuck his entire upper half out of the window! Initially it startled you, because he just did it without a warning.

You view him through the side mirror. Watching his hair blowing wildly in the wind, the way he licks at his lips and how his bare forearm tenses as he grips onto the car. Now that's the look of a guy who'd just escaped police custody. Damn does he makes it look so good. J shakes his head around like a dog, and in that moment you have to force yourself to focus on the road before you end up crashing the car. That'd be a real mood killer.

Harry Styles x Reader

Inspired/based by the Arctic Monkeys’ song by the same name.

Content: Fluff to Angsty. Use of people to move on? Really shity environment. Use of Y/n. Use of she/her pronouns, sorry :(

Disclaimer: English is not my first lenguaje so if there’s any mistake i’m sorry, i’ll try to correct it. Don’t mind the face claims, they are just for illustrative purposes xd. Also, some dates are mixed up, so the real life time line would be a little bit affected.

Y/n and Harry were their lifetime sweethearts. That’s what everyone around them said.

They were inseparable, always sat next to each other in class when they had the opportunity. Always were their prom date. Always at each others house. Even convince their parents to make last minute changes to their summer vacations, just to be together.

Since they were kids, they had a sweet spot for one another. With the time, their innocent and adorable relationship had evolved into a less platonic one, still very adorable though.

As teenagers do, they started exploring new forms of seeing the world around them, including the relationships they have, re-evaluating everything about them. Including their close friendship, of course.

Harry started watching his friend into a more intense way, you could say. Starting with more superficial stuff like her physique. For example: her face wasn’t so round now, although he kind of misses her puffy red cheeks. Or her new style, with more experimental outfits that make her shine, as well as her body.

But what really made him fell head over heals for her was her new empowerment. When she was younger, she was shy and passive, always giving in for people choices over her. People perceived it as kindness and sweetness, but Harry knew her, knew how sometimes she wanted to speak out loud and protest, but always was afraid of what they will say. Over the course of years of ‘fake it 'till you make it’ and self improvement, she finally doesn’t care about the destructive opinions of other, having a lot of confidence in herself.

On the other hand Y/n also founded herself in a dilemma about Harry Edward Styles. How his sweet personality made her feel loved and wanted, important. How he was in her process of improving her self esteem and always was there to help, not only her, but others. And speaking of physical appearance, he also changed, his jaw was prominent now, he was getting more and more tall everyday.

“What’re you thinkin’ about?” his deep voice interrupted her string of thought.

“You know, the immortality of the crab” she put her head back on his shoulder, which shook a little bit as he let out a chuckle. They were watching to the nothing from her bedroom’s window.

“I wanna to tell you something.” Harry’s voice sounded unsure for a second. Y/n raised her head again, watching his eyes, before she could said anything he continued “Please, please promise me that you’re not going to get upset”

“What did you do Styles?” she joked, but he didn’t laughed at that. “ ‘S everything okay?” she asked in a more serious tone.

“Yeah, yeah, everything’s alright. It’s just… I-I” he let a pause to reorder his sentence. “We’ve been friend for a long time-”

“Y/n/n! Omg look!” Y/n’s sister entered with no warning. She erupted from the door and practically jumped to the bed, getting between Harry and Y/n.

Her older and only sister was holding her phone with the biggest smile you could see in someone, ear to ear.

“Why’d you look like the Joker?” Y/n laughed, Harry also let out a quiet laugh.

“Shush, look! Oh, hey Harry” the other one greet friendly. Harry only shook his head.

“Am. What am I suppose to look?”asked the younger in the room asked.

“Remember Walter, the guy you gave me advise for?”

“Oh, okay, this is Walt.”

“Yeah, he asked me out!”

“Yep, I see.”

“And all because of you! Than you, thank you!”

“No problem, always here to help, baby girl.” Y/n brushed her fist with her chin giving and wink. Harry wanted to laugh out loud so hard since moment one, but this killed him.

“I should start planning what to wear”

“Definitely!” everyone and everything in that room could see the sarcasm in Y/n’s voice, expect for her sister, apparently. Y/n wasn’t trying to be rude, well, a little, but she was annoyed of always hearing her sister only talking about boys. She could talk about girls also, Y/n thought.

Like her sister entered that’s how she went out of it.

“What were you trying to tell me again? Sorry about her” she directed her eye towards his.

“Uhm, nothing, it was nothing.”

“I don’t think so… tell me.” she began to insist. She was curious.

“No” he said calmly.

“Tell me.” again, this time she got up from the bed.

“No…” he said unsure of her next move.

“Tell… me…” she was getting close to him again, with a pillow, which he didn’t realized when or where did she grab it.

“No…” he let out a nervous chuckle. Getting further into the bed.

“You’re gonna get that attitude with me, huh, Styles?”

“What are you taking’ about” he said laughing.

“Come here.” she also got into the bed, being on top of him. She forgot about the pillow, beginning to tickle Harry. Both giggling, every now and then screaming. Very open to interpretation, to be fair.

“Stop it. Sto-op” he begged laughing, obviously.

“No, ‘till you tell me what were you were about to tell me.” her breathing was heavy, for the laugh and for the activity.

“Agh, all-right” laugh “just let me g-o”

“Okay” she raises from her core, didn’t realizing she still was straddling him.

He let a deep sigh laying in the bed, putting his hands over his forehead looking at the ceiling. That catches Y/n’s full attention. “I’ve been thinking ‘bout a lot of things-“

“What in the hell‘s going on here?”

“For fuck sake!”

“Y/n!”

“Mum!”

“Harry?”

“Mum?”

“Both of you, get out of that bed.”

It was their mothers. Anne and your mum. They were at the fully open door, with dropped jaws. Now they realized the compromising position in which they were found.

“I-It’s not what it lo-looks like” A very flustered Harry stuttered quickly. Y/n rolled her eyes at the sentence.

“What it was supposed to look like?” you muttered.

“Pardon me?” your mum asked. “You, young lady, don’t realize what you were doing? Here, all alone, with a guy, that you-” she stopped herself before speaking more than she should, Y/n also saw what was about to come if she didn’t stop. “A guy. In your bed?”

“Mum, you know Harry. He’s not just ‘a guy’ you know him and you know me, we wouldn’t to anything.”

Anne and Harry remanded in silence. But the looks that the woman was giving her son were scary enough.

“We just want you to be more respectful. Alright?” Your mum breathed.

“Yeah, okay, we know it.” Y/n said.

“Harry, i think’s time to go home, come on.” Anne said going to the other side of the bed, where the younger ones were.

“I, can you give us a minute? please?” Y/n asked.

Both women looked at each other before shaking their head in signal of a yes. They left, but they didn’t fully close the door.

Now the young ones were laughing and laughing and they couldn’t stop.

“I’m so so sorry.”

“It’s not your fault, in any case i should be thankful.”

“Why?”

“You know, you ‘defended’ me with your mum”

“My mum loves you, what are you taking’ about? She probably loves you more than me. It was just the hotness of the situation, i don’t know.”

“Right. Uhm.” he scratched the back of his neck “i think I have to go, see you later.” he was leaning to give his goodbye cheek kiss when Y/n pulled away shaking her head in disapproval. That made Harry froze.

“Tell me, please, I don’t care if it’s a silly thing, it won’t let me sleep at night” she laughed once again.

“Exactly it’s somethin’ silly, it doesn’t matter.” he shrugged it off.

“Tell. Me. I give you 8 seconds ir i will not talk to you tomorrow at school.”

“Seriously?”

“Mhm.”

“You know how to play, Y/n…” she started counting with her fingers. “Okay, don’t hate me, but…” another second passed by “I-I th-think i’m… in love with you” he started slowly, and the it was light speed, Eminem speed. “No. No.” at this point Y/n wasn’t counting anymore. “That doesn’t sound correct. I- I am in love with you.”

“What?” she muttered.

“I am in love with you… Y/n.” he said watching to the floor.

“Wow- I…” she was in shock, but she could put herself together to say “I am in love with you too, Harry, since like i don’t know so much time…” she was muttering at the beginning and got a bust of confidence in the middle of the sentence.

“Really?”

“Yes.”

The stare at each other for a couple of seconds.

“Then what are we waiting?” Y/n whispered, watching how Harry was leaning towards her.

“Right. Uhm, can I-can I kiss you?” Y/n smiles for a little second for the nervousness of the boy in front of her, she nodded and stand in the tips of her feet, with one hand wrapping sweetly Harry’s cheek and the other was in the nape of his neck.

He has a shit eating grin with the touch, he mimicked the move of the girl, cupping her face with one hand while on the other hand, literally, he let it levitate to her back.

With a clumsy beginning they started a sweet kiss, they understood each other pretty quickly. They wished they could stay like that for a little while, but the knock on the door let them know it could be in another occasion.

“Harry?”

“I’m coming mum…!”

“Go, i’ll see you later.” Y/n encouraged Harry to go giving him a peek, being new to that sensation.

“Yeah. Bye. See. You. At. School.” with every pause he let a kiss on Y/n’s face.

That summer was unforgettable for the both of them. They experienced so many new and exiting things together and apart that made them feel like the wanted to eat the world in one bite. They just had sixteen, but the felt so much older.

Then Harry got signed up for the X Factor by his mum. Y/n was so excited to see him perform his undeniable talent.

And after some months of uncertainty, One Direction was founded. It still was a shock for everyone. Now they were talking about recording an album and selling it and doing a tour, that with luck will be all around the world. That was obviously exiting, right.

To Y/n that was a daydream, even though she has almost nothing to do with the situation. She was exited for Harry.

Harry was as exited as Y/n, but also, thinking a lot about it, he would have to be apart, like completely apart for the people he loved the most for a very long time. He didn’t know any better than his girlfriend, friends and family, so he had to learn.

Harry’s POV

2013

I was stuck in my hotel room doing nothing. I was bored, and I could just easily sneak up into some of the boys’ rooms, but I just wanted some comfort. The type of company that is warming, and home-like.

“Hey, mate.” said Louis entering through the door. He never called me that, we are not 30.

“Hi.” I returned my gaze to the ceiling.

“‘S everything ‘lright? his accent sometimes could become very thick.

“Yeah, all good.”

“Are you sure?” that was not Louis’ voice anymore, it was more high pitched and sweet. I quickly get up knowing that voice perfectly.

“Y/n/n” I run towards her, picking her up while hugging her. God I missed this. I could hear an ‘Ouh’ from her, I almost make us fell over Louis, who was just behind her.

“Sorry Lou” Y/n apologized leaving the embrace for a slight second.

“Ah, ‘s okay, just don’t start fucking in front of me, lovebirds.” he said. “Now, I’ll let you guys catch up. Uh, and Harry, they wan’ us in the back lobby in an hour, don’t be late.”

“Yeah, thanks Louis. See you” We shared a side embrace, since Y/n was in cuddled up in my left arm. She sent a kiss towards him, he catches it and threw it to the trash can, Y/n/n gives him the middle finger.

“Hi.” I said.

“Hello, Mr. Bandana boy.” she smiled passing her hand through my hair, that I was letting grow.

“D’you like it?”

“I love it.”

“Thanks, m’girlfriend asked me to let it grow.” I said sitting down on the edge of the bed, I pulled her between my legs hugging her hips.

“She has such a good taste...” Her hand left soft touches all over my hair.

“I know, she’s a genius”

“I agree with you.”

She was fixated with my hair, I just stared at her while she is distracted.

“Hey” I whisper. She hums in response. “hey…” I drag my try to make her look at me. “Can you give me a kiss?”

“Sure” she says before smiling widely and leaning down to meet my lips. I felt like it was forever since the last time i felt like this, when it was probably less than a month ago. I feel my face warm up, my stomach tightened, i felt like the butterfly on my chest was about to fly out. “I’ve missed you.” Our forehead were together, our eyes looked funny being like this.

“I’ve missed you too.” I laughed.

“I know.”

“Nice” she giggled.

“How have you’ve been?” she sat down next to me.

“I’m ‘kay.”

“Are you sure?” she repeated her first sentence in this room.

“Yeah, and now that you are here with me i’m perfect.”

“You’re so silly sometimes.”

“And you love it.”

“Yeah, I have a thing for goofballs”

“Well, thanks. How have you’ve been? I feel like we haven’t talked in forever.” And it was true, with my weird and tight schedule and her university and projects we barely talked outside our daily good morning and good night messages.

“Yeah… but you have me this week, and the next one.” she said kissing my cheeks.

“Oh, I’m so so so lucky” I said exaggerating.

“Okay, then bye” before she could stand up, I hugged her waist pulling her towards me.

“No. You’re trapped now.” I laughed to her mute scream as I pushed her to the big mattress.

“I’m gonna fall off the bed” she exclaimed.

“I got ya, love.”

We stare at each other for a while. But it was enough of the corny stuff.

“Now, let’s make up the time apart.” I shoot an exaggerated wink.

“You have less than 20 minutes, hun” she said sassy.

“I jus’ need 3, don’t worry ‘bout it.” she laughed so hard I laughed at my own joke too, or it was more for her laugh.

Y/n’s POV

2018

“Please, answer…” It was the 7th call in the last hour or so. But nothing. Directly to voice mail.

Then I heard the door of the apartments open. I got into my robe and walked to the loud noise.

First it was the sound of the keys hitting the glass table, then the fight with the shoes to take them of, and the a curse.

“Agh, stupid shit” he said. I was so mad, but seeing him safe was a relief.

“Good morning Harry.” I said. Clearly upset.

“Hello, Y/n.” He said in the same tone before letting out a dumb chuckle, he was drunk.

“Oh, please welcome! D’you need something? A coffee, or an aspirin, maybe?”

“Nah, ‘m alright, thank you.” now he was staggering towards the couch. If I heard that condescending tone one more time…

“Oh, good, good to know you are okay. Thank you very much.”

“Yeh, now, can you let me sleep, please?” Oh god.

I wanted to yell on the spot, but now i was just gonna have no response, so i take a deep breath and went to bed again.

The next morning was like any other one in the past few months, i woke up in an empty bed. I was tired even thought i just woke up. I knew what was coming up, and i didn’t want to step out of the bed.

I was in the bathroom washing my face. Today was the day. I was going to give him the ultimatum.

It’s been months since Live on Tour ended, i supposed that Harry would be enjoying his time home, with his family, friends and, well, me. But it looks like he’s still in the chip of partying and wild rockstar life. At the beginning i was kind of okay with that but when he kept living as if he was single, not in a way of cheating, as far as i know, but neglecting that he has someone that is waiting for him at home, that’s what upsets me.

I’ve been staying up whole nights worried about Harry. He’s not a ‘normal’ guy, he is a world wide known celebrity and most importantly, my fiancé.

I went up to the kitchen counter for a cup of coffee that i definitely needed. I saw a the back of a messy hair sticking out of the couch. He was looking to the nothing, with a cup of coffee, a glass of water and some aspirins on the coffee table.

“Morning’ ” i said calmly. He turned his head in my direction.

“Hello, love.” he said under his breath, i saw a hint of shame in his attitude, i was hoping he understood the meaning behind our fight.

“Are you feeling good?” i asked. He went up from the couch and walk to the counter, right next to me.

“I don’t know how you do it.” he put me into an embrace from my waist. His head was in my neck.

“What’re you taking about?” i giggled lightly, i couldn’t be upset at the moment.

“You know…” he let moment of silence, thinking. “being… patient with me…” he started kissing and biting “and so good, so beautiful… so sexy...” what.

I immediately took off pushing him from his shoulders. I looked at him directly in the eyes, frowning “What?”

“What? What?” he joked. I shook my head saying no and returned my body to face the counter.

“You don’t know why I am upset, do you?” i began to play with the only ring in my finger.

“Are you upset?”

“Yes, Harry, I am upset. Thank you for noticing.”

“Did somethin’ happened at work?” Was he fucking serious?

“Unbelievable.”

“No, wait. Is it because I was out yesterday? Nothin’ happened, it was a band thing.”

“I don’t care about that, Harry. I wouldn’t mind if you drank all the bar or kissed every person out there, ‘cause i’m fucking done.”

“What are you saying’?” his tone had a bit of panic and another bit of anger.

“This Harry. Whatever this turned into.” i couldn’t look at him. “It’s been like, what? Three months, tell me, have we have eat together once, have we even talked more than ten minutes? I don’t know nothing ‘bout your tour, you don’t know nothing about this past months, and you don’t seem interested at all.”

“I’m no interested? What about you! Always stayin’ at home, never wanting to go out.”

“You have never invited me out since you return. Not in a date. Not in one of you funny little night bar adventures, saying that where ‘band things’. Even Sarah invited me over sometimes.”

“Then why didn’t you go?”

“Because if you, my partner, didn’t tell me about it was obvious that you didn’t want me there”

“Of course i wanted you there!”

“Congratulations, i don’t care!” i took a deep breath “I don’t want to fight or yell… I-I don’t think that this is working.” I removed the ring from under the counter.

“Please, tell me it’s not what i’m thinking, you are not giving everything of this up just for some nights out, are you?”

“It’s, not just ‘some nights out’ it’s you neglecting me. I just think if this is gonna be the same every time you tour and i don’t think i could handle it.”

“Then we’ll work on it” he grabbed my hand, the one without a ring on. I’m sure he did noticed, but decided not to comment on it.

“No, you haven’t seen how dysfunctional everything has been since i finished my major?” He shook his head “No you didn’t, you were focused on your album, and i understand, but right now nothing’s stopping you from being here.”

“I’ll do it. I’ll be here”

“Harry… I promised to myself that this would be an ultimatum, i do want to keep being a part of this relationship, i want to do a family with you. But i’m not gonna put my needs and mental peace under the carpet. It’s not worth it, nothing is.” I put the ring on the marble surface. I could hear Harry’s breath began to be faster.

“I understand that, and i promise you that i’m going to fight for this to keep going. Please give me the chance,”

“I’m gonna give it to you.” i simply replied.

“Why are you trying to give me your ring?” he said with shaky voice.

“H… I thought that you would see it. It’s obvious that we are not ready for a compromise as big as it’s being engaged.”

“We’ve been together for eight years, Y/n!”

“Okay, let’s calm down.” I don’t want yelling.

“You don’t want to get married, ‘s that it?”

“Harry.”

“No. It seems so convenient to me that when you’re about to go back to London for that… work opportunity… you magically try to return me this.”

“Harry, that was, like, half a year ago.” I couldn’t believe how quickly he was fucking this up. He looked at me, he was thinking the same. He tried to excuse his comment. “No, i’ve heard enough.” I began to walk trough the house, with him following me immediately. I blasted into the bedroom.

“Wait. Y/n.”

I didn’t responded. I entered into the closet, making sure that i closed it with lock, grabbed a suitcase and began to pack.

“Love”

“Don’t call me that.” I whispered while changing into the first thing that i picked out, a black loose pair of pants and a tank top, not the greatest, not the worst, but i couldn’t care less about that.

Before going out of the closet i picked up my phone, fortunately i had it in my robe’s pocket, as always. I called Nick.

“Y/n/n, please, i’m so sorry. This is exactly what i want to work on.”

“I was about to give you the opportunity, you were the one messin’ it up” I said through the door. Then i opened it, he was sitting in the bed, his elbows in his knees as he passes his hand through his hair, in frustration.

I walked pass him to go to my nightstand, grabbing my journal, my passport and a key.

“W-what’s that?”

“Your new car. Congrats for your album.” I said as dry as i could sound, my childish self wanted that, the hurt in him, like the one he made me feel. I threw the keys to the bed, getting out of there, also hoping that they were enough distraction for him not to reach me out.

I took the elevator until i reached the first floor, on my way down i couldn’t help but started crying, i was about to explote if i didn’t. Then, to get to the ground floor, i used the emergency stairs, exiting the building from the back door.

Just two seconds later there it was Nick, in the black van and his usual suit. “Is everting good, Ms, Y/n?

“Uhm, y…es, thanks.” i said giving him my suitcase.

Then I went to the airport and bought the fist ticket to the UK and fuckin’ go.

An unpopular opinion: Sebastian is a fine and well written character and deserves good things! and I think the end of the manga will be him sacrificing himself for Ciel and ending the contract that way, because he cares about Ciel. He didn't plan to care about Ciel in the beginning, but oops, you have acquired a son and you like him so much. The tragedy of Ciel having planned to die all this time but now having lost someone he cares about and who cared about him? And having to live on despite that? *chef's kiss*

Most Badass Character: Obvious answer, but Sebastian! He kills people and is iconic while doing it. His LookTM straight out of being summoned in the ritual was also fun, love the high heels his demonic form apparently has. The fact he can kill the shit out of people with fucking silverware is v badass

Most Epic Villain: The Circus Troupe are fun, and I'm counting them as a villain collectively. This doesn't include Baron K*lvin, he's another hit with my car ass bitch. Joker, Dagger, Beast, Doll, Jumbo, and Peter and Wendy are all fun though and I do like that they cause problems and kill people. Unfortunately Sebastian and Ciel were just better at causing problems and killing people. Rip the most to Doll though, you were the best

Pairing I am not a fan of: Ciel x Sebastian 🤢 he's a child worsties

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Alois. I don't really love his ending in season 2 - he, Hannah, Claude and the triplets all merge into one consciousness or something?? It's stupid and I hate that Claude is included in anything. I think Alois should have also been able to become a demon with Ciel if they wanted to go that route, or simply have him not die and get therapy but still continue being evil if he wants he's allowed

Favourite Friendship: I really like the friendship between Bard, Finny, and Mey-Rin! They all bonded and are all soo stupid together they're great. Also adding Snake to their mix is fun, even though everyone is lying to him,,, oops 😬

Character I most identify with: Lizzie I think! She's sweet and badass and wants what's best for Ciel, even if she doesn't completely understand what's going on or how he changed from what she remembered as a child. I love that she's super good at sword fighting, and I want to be that good as well!! Next step is sword fighting classes lmao

Character I wish I could be: I love most of the characters but honestly I don't want to be any of them lmaoo; they're all suffering or in danger in various ways and I just want everyone to feel better and so would not like to be in that situation <3

002 | Merthur:

When I started shipping them: Season 1 episode 1 tbh. They have great chemistry and bother each other a lot but also genuinely care about each other which is so important!

My thoughts: Oooh you are not ready for my thoughts on them. Just got done doing a rewatch of Merlin BBC with my bestie and we suffered and exalted together

What makes me happy about them: The way they are willing to sacrifice themselves for each other! Merlin drinks poison for Arthur and Arthur ignores his father and places himself in danger to save Merlin's life, who his father dismisses as a mere serving boy and Arthur's like he's more than that!! to me!! and I just

What makes me sad about them: Girl the everrrryything 😭 the tragedy of Merlin doing all he can to prevent Arthur's death at Camlann but all he does just makes it happen. The tragedy of Merlin becoming so jaded over the course of the show, with how trusting and happy he was in season 1 and how unwilling he was to trust or give Mordred a fair chance in season 5 - especially when it came to the girl Mordred loved. The fact that Arthur never found out about Merlin's magic until it's too late!! That Merlin spends the whole show worried Arthur will hate him when he finds out, and does his best to ensure magic won't return to Camelot and advises Arthur not to trust magic,,,, ough agggh the agonies!!

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: no magic AU or modern AU. Yeah I know the show ends showing Merlin still around in modern day waiting for Arthur, but I don't care! I want them to be around in Arthurian times and causing and solving problems. Throw in angst as needed, but don't put them in a place without magic or in modern day. I also tend to avoid major character death - I'm usually not opposed to it if done right since angst is a good time, but since it happened irl in the show I can't handle it in fic

Things I look for in fanfic: I never say no to a good magic reveal fic!! Especially if it takes a minute for Arthur to forgive Merlin for not saying anything and he's mean about it and makes Merlin feels bad and then feels bad later when he gets over it and Merlin is sad and they work on themselves together. Hurt/comfort type stuff!

My wishlist: That Merlin's magic gets revealed to Arthur sooner than canon and that Arthur comes to terms with it and magic is accepted in Camelot, that Merlin dates Arthur and Arthur dates Gwen and Gwen dates Morgana <3 Also that Uther dies choking on his own blood. Not related to Merthur but also still related to them cause his Huge Bitch disease prevented them from being happy

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Merlin with Gwaine and Arthur with Gwen! Gwaine and Merlin are so sweet actually, and we see how good Arthur and Gwen are in canon

My happily ever after for them: Merlin is court sorcerer/magical advisor to Arthur, also maybe his royal boyfriend, and they rule Camelot in peace and happiness. Morgana is happy with Gwen and Mordred is vibing somewhere to, maybe with his gf if we want to continue pretending he's straight

How I feel about this character: absolute bastard, commit as many war crimes and murder as you would like, you are so fun and so cool and it's great when you bother everyone else and sound smug abt it

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Peter Lukas and also Jon. Both are great concepts and I think that fear monsters should harm people together but also kiss kiss fall in love

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Elias, Simon Fairchild, Peter Lukas, and M

My unpopular opinion about this character: I'll be real with you besties, Melanie was kind of annoying and I had fun when he traumatized her on screen in podcast <3 also he should have won the end of the world it was great that he caused the apocalypse

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I would have loved to get more backstory on Jonah Magnus, or somehow hear statements from the people he hung out with in ye olden times in their own voices! It would also have been neat to hear his own thoughts/feelings on living through a ton of shit - invention of electricity, the car, the airplane, the internet! I would love to hear if he thinks everything is cool and better now or if he's a crotchety old bitch about it and is like "back in my day 😤"

Favorite friendship for this character: Lmao he doesn't have friends!! Best I can do is his friendships in the 1800s where he was prob just using everyone so he could open his funny little eye temple <3 but I will say I liked the statement from him about Barnabas Bennett , so I'll say I liked their 'friendship' 😏

My crossover ship: I don't have many crossover ships, and I can't honestly think of any I'd have for Elias. He's perfectly fine being evil and terrible with Peter or Jon

•He’s the protective type for sure- he lost all his friends prior to heading to the Phantomhive household, the man most likely has PTSD, he’s definitely going to everything he can to keep you safe and sound. Well, in his eyes at least.

•More often than not, you’re in his sight somehow, constantly within reach. Because of this Baldroy is likely to kidnap you pretty quickly; he’s too afraid something is going to happen to you if he doesn’t. “Paranoid” is understating it, really.

•You’ll end up working for the Phantomhives yourself as essentially his assistant, but you won’t have any real duties if he can help it. He’ll do the job for you, it’s mostly just a guise to keep you close to him. Even if you can fight for yourself, he literally isn’t going to allow it. He gets stressed enough if you try handling a knife for cooking, forget about an actual weapon.

•Baldroy does his best to spoil you with his salary from his job, treating you as best he can in hopes you’ll love him back. He craves your attention- and when he’s not busy worrying about your safety, then he’s busy vying for your love.

•Don’t try to give said love to anyone else, though. You’re his girlfriend- and you aren’t going to leave his side. You aren’t safe anywhere but with him, nobody else can protect you like he can. All he asks in exchange is your undying affection.

•Another protective type, and Agni pretty much worships the ground that you walk on. You’re his moon and stars- a bright, beautiful light in his life, but in a very different way from Soma. While Soma gave him a new life and purpose, you are the one who gave said life meaning.

•This obsession develops the slowest out of everyone here, by far. So much so that Agni doesn’t even notice it himself at first, starting small before his feelings for you twist more and more until it’s too late for either of you to escape them. It all starts perfectly innocent, in truth, but the more time Agni spends around you the worse it gets.

•Agni will find things you left laying around, intially planning to return them to you, but then he finds himself unable to part with them. As his obsession festers and grows, he starts actively stealing things that remind him of you, all while telling himself that “you’ll get it back later”. A small shrine ends up developing in the closet of his room, hidden away from the light and only ever illuminated by scented candles that, of course, are your favourite scent. A small shrine to his goddess- something that only he knows of, and no one else will see.

•Eventually he starts to grow more and more protective, until eventually, you’re not allowed to leave his side when you’re out- and aren’t allowed to leave wherever you’re staying if you can’t be. He doesn’t let anybody else touch you, and while he seems so gentlemanly on the outside, it’s so extreme that you aren’t speaking to anybody but him and Soma. Agni does feel guilty, but in his mind, you’re so precious that no matter what this is worth it. No matter the cost, you have to be treasured and protected.

•He wins the award for the most delusional yandere ever, period. Soma doesn’t even consider you not liking him back, or you not having any feelings for him for a second. Doesn’t even enter his head. He sees you, it’s like love at first sight. You’re his princess and there is nothing that you can do.

•Absolutely showers his darling in affection constantly. You’re his goddess, his dearest princess- and Soma is going to make sure that you’re treated as such. Expect a great deal of presents with a head-spinning amount of money being spent on you. It’s honestly part of how he tries to win your love, by basically showing you life that he believes you deserve- with him, of course.

•Rejections of Soma’s feelings go in one ear and out the other. He doesn’t even hear them, and will keep on moving as if you just accepted his feelings. He’ll talk over you, drag you wherever he wants to go, everything. The main difference is that you can’t wander- just ignore that golden chain around your ankle, princess, it’s all for your own good anyway!

•Soma will marry you fast as lightning. No matter what strings have to be pulled or who has to vanish, he’s going to see to it that everything is taken care of so that you’re his wife as soon as possible. It’ll be the biggest ceremony possible, his entire family and yours attending, and he’s acting like everything is normal and that you’re just so very in love… everyone can almost ignore the frown on your face.

•You’ll be dressed in the finest silks and jewellery, but really, you’re just in a golden cage. No matter what you do, he always seems so happy, gushing over how in love you two are, how perfect his lovely princess is. No matter if you’re smiling beside him or not, your freedom only really depends on if you play along with his delusions or not. Try to run, it’s the same act but you’re confined to his room as he cares for you. It’s all for your sake, you just need to understand that you love him too.

•He’s going to have Ran Mao follow you everywhere. You will never be danger, because she’s going to protect you on Lau’s behalf, but you also won’t have even a peep of privacy. Everything you do, she sees, and reports right back to Lau. Within a month he knows seemingly every little thing about you.

•Lau makes himself appear fairly non-threatening and goofy (like how he acts in the lighter moments of the manga) to make himself seem utterly harmless to you. He’ll slowly worm his way into your life more and more, expertly increasing his visits and time spent near you until you don’t even bat an eyelash when he’s visiting you everyday.

•In the process of this, Lau also carefully sneaks into your heart as well. It’s almost too perfect as he adapts to what you want in a partner flawlessly, and by the time you’ve realized that you’ve fallen for the man it’s far, far too late for you.

•You barely notice when Lau drags you into his life completely, stealing you away from everything you had before and keeping you at his side 24/7. It’s like a switch goes off and now you can’t escape his presence. Everywhere he goes, you’re under his arm, sitting on his lap, cuddled into his side- while Ran Mao stands by instead.

•It’s eerie just how calculated he is. Lau seems so innocuous when he first enters your life, and Ran Mao (acting spirit his right hand here) may even appear like a friend. But once the fangs come out and you can even realize that you’re trapped, you already can’t escape his sight.

•Another extremely paranoid one. He’ll also never, ever, ever in a thousand years let Baron Kelvin know of your existence. Joker, believing that you’re the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, doesn’t want to even risk Kelvin seeing you. He knows how that man is, so someone as lovely as yourself? Yeah, you aren’t going anywhere near the guy.

•He’ll lure you away from your home with sweet words, fascinating personal performances and flowers, dragging you into a masterfully crafted fantasy image of him. Joker will leave you dazed and wondering more about him, that mysterious ring leader from the Noah’s Arc Circus, drawing you towards him as if hypnotized.

•Joker is very aware of his tactics and how genuinely awful he’s acting, and actually feels heavy guilt about it. He feels guilty when, in a panic when the circus is about to leave, he kidnaps you in the night. He feels guilty when he has you join the circus to stay with him. But, he doesn’t stop. Joker doesn’t see any point in stopping. He already does horrible things for the Baron… he already can’t go back. So why stop now, and let go of this love?

•Basically he’s not even a little delusional, realizing this is wrong, but he also can’t let the feeling go. He doesn’t see himself as having an ability to go back anyway, and he cares so dearly for you that he must have you. You’re a light in his life that he can’t ever let go.

•I hope you like the members of the circus troupe, because they’re your only contact outside of Joker himself. They protect you and they’ll talk with you, making you feel like part of the family, but that’s all you get. He only trusts them enough to see you, and only once the swear that none of them so much as speak your name anywhere else.
