Okay, so here is a plan: I'm petrified, I feel immense pressure to do well, so in order to avoid this pressure I wait (with panic and anxiety) till the moment of the adequate timing for completing the task is gone (hence the outer expectations for me to complete the task on time) and than I exploit "why the fuck not, 30% is better than 0, I can try" worldview by means of my health and sleep, sounds good, let's do it!

Hello, I’m Emily, but you can call me Em.

I decided to make a studyblr because I want to record and document my progress in a way that shows my creativity. I’m fairly motivated and I do very well in school, but by being part of this community, I will have people to fall back on when I’m not feeling super motivated or not doing as well as I want to in school.

2. What I like to do

·       I love to sing. I’m president and director of my university’s a cappella group.

·       I like to cook and bake

·       I love hanging out with friends; driving around, eating food, partying every once in a while. I just love being surrounded by great people.

·       I like to plan events. I’m treasurer of my university’s programming board. We plan a large majority of the events that happen on and off campus. This year, I get to plan our annual spring concert.

4. What you can expect from me

·       A masterpost every once in a while.

·       A friend that you can rely on and send messages too. I will celebrate with you during your victories and be there for you during your failures. I will give advice and and direct you to some great resources.

hello! after waltzing around the studyblr community a bit, i’ve finally come out of my shell to say hello and do a bit of an introduction! my name is virginia, ginny for short, and i’m currently in my first year of college! i’m 18 years old, a cancer, and an enfj. i’m currently an english major in the states, but i’m hoping to study abroad in canada for the remainder of my university life and get a degree there! i’m debating doing an english/philosophy double major, or an english/history double major. or maybe changing my degree entirely and going into creative industries or something! i’m super indecisive so we will have to see!!

anyways i’m really excited to be here and be a part of the studyblr community to watch myself grow, but also the people i follow/my followers grow as well!

Struggling on Focus Today

Hey all, 

Today’s been a bit of a struggle for me with focus. I got a not so great grade on a project I thought I did well on. I went to vent to my mom and she kind of made me feel worse. 

It’s made me feel way off track lately and I haven’t been focusing on my studies. How do you help yourself get refocused? How do you motivate yourself?

Re-introduction

So it’s been roughly a year since I started this account, and a lot has changed since then, so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. I'm first year at uni, more specifically law. Besides school I'm trying to improve my not so good german and start learning greek sometimes in the future.

In my free time I like to read, hang out with my friend and working out at gym.
