When Phil needs answers on something, he goes straight to Cellbit (at least pre-Purgatory, he's switched to Bagi over the months bc they've gotten much closer).

Another reason he's so pissed abt the reset is bc the Feds took them the fuck away from The Order, which had all of Cellbit's tools for figuring out the weird new shit they encounter on QI

ANOTHER reason Phil hates the reset is bc there's not much weird shit going on over here? It's just?? Capitalism?? There's nothing to take pictures of for Cellbit. And he really misses dropping an entire goldmine of new pictures for theorizing on Cellbit and watching how excited he gets about it :(

See, Phil and Cellbit were close prior to Purgatory; look at the Order, Phil picking his domain (idr their formal names), etc. But Purgatory did.. something. I mean, it did something to all of Bolas, but something extra to these two's friendship. The leader role, the way Cellbit fell into a sort-of second in command & substitute when Phil wasn't around, Phil (was meant to be) rescuing Cellbit & Baghs. It was teamwork and brothers in arms shit to a degree they'd previously not reached. It's permanently intensified their bond and trust in each other. Which I can't wait to see unfold if Cellbit keeps getting worse. >:D

It's a 50/50 if Phil is concerned about Cellbit's (re)rising murderous tendencies and potentially "resurfacing" cannibal habits or if he's just like "Haha, friend is stabby, lookit him go. :)"

I have a hot take. Roier to Etoiles in Purgatory is Cellbit to Phil. Loyal attack dog more than happy to create bloodshed for their equally scary leader. The authority aspect has kinda gone away post-Purgatory but Cellbit will still kill a man if Phil says do it. Phil wouldn't ask that of him if he didn't have a good reason.

Phil is super awed and inspired by Cellbit's building skills. Idiot will be like "damn, wish I could build like that" as if he can't. Bitch you just refuse to!!! (I want these two to build something big and sick together so bad)

I don't know how things would've played out if Cellbit was present for EK possession things but I know it would've been fucked up and intense. And I can't explore it in AMFMN because Cellbit & Baghera are still missing in it. 😔

That said, Cellbit gets told Phil was possessed by some old piece of shit he used to know and is immediately like "Phil I will fight god for you, I don't give a FUCK"

Phil absolutely loves watching Richas take on more and more of Cellbit's unhinged traits. He's a bit worried he's gonna become a little ball of murder too, but Richas has like half the fucking island as parents, he'll be fiiiiiine.

I don't remember if qPhil knows about the Purgatory 2 murder spree stuff but I like to think he doesn't yet because boy would his reaction be spicy :) If he does know and I've forgotten, he 100% didn't entirely process just How fucked it was.

As close as they've become and as,, kinda chill? Phil has been about the whole murder thing?? He's still deeply worried about Cellbit in other ways post-Purgatory. Dude's seemed withdrawn, he can't remember the last time he saw him with Roier, and just overall things have been different to a degree Phil is sure isn't normal or a slow bounce-back period. But every time he has a free moment to check in, Cellbit's never around.

Actually, as Cellbit gets worse, I think Phil will go from chill with how things have been worsening to Oh Fuck because he's gonna see a lot of his Antarctic self in him. It's not like Phil isn't proud of that era or anything, but. Mentally and emotionally? Being cold and merciless like that takes a toll. One Cellbit shouldn't subject himself to.

Phil cannot for the life of him Not laugh whenever Pac brings up the whole. Leg eating thing. Pac is so out of pocket about it nowadays bc it happened so long ago and Phil gets whiplash from the casual jokes every time. I think if Cellbit made jokes about it Phil would keel over.

Just out of spite and for the sake of clarity: Phil is not Cellbit's fucking parental figure. Cellbit is not his son. They are grown ass men. They are friends. Colleagues. Confidants if we wanna stretch things a bit. There is nothing familial about their bond.

he had to ask around a bit, and go thru some books. and then bake it himself, and successfully hide it from u and keep it preserved for the whole day

i don't think he talks about you too much because he wants to keep your privacy. but when he does it is so obvious how much he is in love with you. i think he talks about you inadvertently though talking about his music. like an interviewer will be like, "so this album is so classic 1975 yet it has this almost upbeat, optimistic twist that runs through the whole album that we don't see from you guys as often. is that something you intended?"

and matty is like "it's not something i necessarily intended while writing its just. we write from where we are in our lives and to understand our lives and i just am in a place right now, with life, and love, where everything just feels you know, dreamy, for lack of a better word and i do think that comes out in this album a lot. i do think there is fear in it too, in that, when you've been through those hard dark times and you are finally at a place where you're you know, so in love, and carefree and comfortable and supported, that that for whatever reason might go away. and also i guess, you know, on like track seven, where it's about this relationship where you love someone so much that sometimes it's just explosive, and like too explosive, how being in love that hard, can kind of cause you to hurt each other with it and you're fighting because of some inane shit but really its just cos of how much you love each other. so yeah. there is a lot of optimism in it. but a lot of other emotions that come with this depth of love i'm experiencing right now, you know? it's fun. to get to play around with music to express that."

and then there is other times, those rare times, where he straight up mentions you. maybe he does a "what's on my phone" interview and the background is a picture he took of you, looking all pretty on the beach. and he's like "background is my missus, obviously. because look at her. stunning. and then we unlock it and okay, last text message i sent. missus. obviously again haha. hopefully this is appropriate for the internet. what does it say. oh right." he laughs and he reads it out but it's a private joke between the two of you that no one else would ever get. while he is doing the interview you text him. "oh look missus has just text me. saying i love you. what a simp." but then he makes a kiss at his phone and says "i'm just gonna text back to that is that okay?" the interviewer says yes so he replies love you too darling xxxxxx "lots of kisses," he says to the camera, "i'm a lover like that."

Oooh having to put my thoughts into words..

Okay, so like Max is the principal and J'onn is the VP. They are both fed UP with the job, but still do genuinely like interacting with the students and teachers... even if it gives them a headache (if Max can't be a good guy in canon I cope and make him a good guy in my AU)

Bea is the fashion design and textiles teacher. The sewing room tends to be a hub for people who want a place to gossip and you best believe Bea is EAVESDROPPING. Sometimes her students just tell her gossip directly too. She goes home and goes to Tora like "you would not BELIEVE what Becky did..." (Tora and Bea live together. They're dating :])

Tora teaches ancient history, like about the Greeks, Romans, Norse, etc.. The students LOVE her and her room is sort of a safe place for anyone who's upset and needs an area to just hang out.

Guy teaches P.E. and a lot of the students DON'T like him, but he does forge a genuine connection with some students, especially those who have faced tough times. Bit of a dick but you tell him you've been bullied? he's always willing to stand up for you

Booster teaches history and is the football coach. Most students (football players or no) call him Coach affectionately. Some of them have got their hands on the "booster" nickname too from overhearing other teachers call him that.

Ted is the physics teacher and runs the robotics club. His room is filled with stupid, corny posters and he makes dumb, corny jokes all the time but the students adore him. Yk those videos of physics teachers doing absolutely insane experiments inside their high school classroom? That's Ted. It's all Ted. Him and Booster are married and the proposal took place in the dollar store because Booster saw two cheap plastic rings that were blue and gold and went "haha those are our colours :D" *gets down on one knee*. The only witness to this was a 15 yr old minimum wage worker. They regularly pop by the dollar general now and go "hey 👋👋" . Later on when they get Rani and Rip students see Ted with them and are like "omg Mr kord are those your kids???" And hes like "yea I grew them in a lab"

Sometimes the students will pick up on something between Beatora and Boostle and they just start gaslighting the students. Atp they don't really care but just want to see who gets found out first.

Scott was the mechanics teacher for a while before quitting to go run his fix-it shop. Barda teaches at the local elementary school. They regularly have Scott's old co-workers over for dinner :)

Also. Manga Khan teaches economics and runs the theatre club and L-Ron is his teacher assistant. Manga is still in love with L-Ron in this AU because I think it's really funny. Sometimes I think I hallucinated that plot point. The students like Manga because it's really easy to make him soliloquize and then they don't have to do work

hey babe i just saw your ask button says hey babe so i wanted to say hey babe to you too. i had a funny experience today where i was hanging out with two friends of mine just casually and i honestly cant remember what we were talking abt but we were laughing rlly hard, one of them is really good friend of mine from high school we've known each other for 4 years and he has this crazy contagious laugh and finds everything funny and its honestly the best laugh youve ever heard its like the dictionary definition of a giggle, so when he laughs i always laugh. and today we were standing around in a park and i was eating a banana and i genuinely cannot remember why we were laughing no it just came to me i was telling him i liekd his shoes and that theyre shoes i wanna get but his feet are huge so i was like Haha you have big feet and he said "well you know what they say about big feet: big feet, big-" and was abt to make a dick joke but interrupted himself by giggling so then i giggled and our other friend said "big feet, big shoes" and we all laughed hardr and then tried to one up each other for who could say the silliest joke like "big feet, big toes" or "big feet, big smell" or "big feet, good at pedalling on a bicycle", and then as i was taking a bit out of my banana my first friend (the giggler) said, completely straight faced, "big feet, bigfoot." and for some reason it was so funny so i choked on my banana and he giggled again and said "are you choking" and i, with tears fully streaming down my face, said "no i'm serious". and he sort of laughed but it took him a few seconds to get the joke, so his face was neutral for a moment, and then it hit him and he luaghed so hard he doubled over (he always laughs with his whole body) and then i couldn't stop laughing at the fact that it toook him a full 3 seconds to react to my joke and then we were both laughing like it was getting ridiculous and i couldnt breathe so oxygen wasnt getting to my brain and it felt like i was getting high and we had to sit down to calm down it was so stupid but we always get like that when we hang out. anyway it really isnt funny if you werent there to see it and it probably sounds stupid typed out but yeah i love him he always makes me laugh so much and we're currently planning our own amateur production of the musical little shop of horros because he loves musicals .... anyway there u go love you hope u enjoyed that sorry abt the wall of text

Request: Hi! I loved your ruffnut content to death so I was going to request something. So what abt you actually being hiccup's older sibling by a few yrs which means you would actually end up being chief. Like your relationship with each dragon rider as hcs? You can take all liberties of course. How are you? Did you hydrate and eat today?

A/N: Hope this is good anon! Sorry they’re so short, haha, I just couldn’t think of anything else. And Ruff and Tuffs are together, it just made more sense to write it like this to me. Also I’m not sure if you wanted it romantic so I wrote it neutral, most of them are open to interpretation I guess besides Hiccup and Astrid. Enjoy!

Hiccup

Hiccup is the dragon rider you’re the closest to (obviously!)

He’s your little brother and he looks up to you a lot, but he also has his own stubborn way of doing things

You worry about him a lot when he goes out on missions

There’s nothing you can really do to stop him though

He hugs you every time he sees you, before your dad died it was a pain in the ass, now though you relish in every hug

Your brother really appreciates the fact that you took over as chief, allowing him to continue his duties with the dragon riders

“I can’t be in two places at once, Y/n!”

Being close with Hiccup automatically means you’re close with Toothless

Play fighting with Toothless when Hiccup is handling strategy with the other riders

Constant teasing on both ends

You especially like to tease him about his one leg

“Even without my leg, I can still take you.”

The two of you hold a mutual respect for each other, built over years of trusting each other. You tell each other everything and trust each other, even when one of you has a ridiculous idea.

Astrid

If you had to pick a dragon rider you were closest to besides your brother, it’d definitely be Astrid.

She was your brothers partner, but even before that the two of you had held mad respect for each other

The two of you had formed a secret pact to take care of and protect your younger brother, especially when only one of you were around

She goes to you for advice dealing with him

Sometimes, when you’re especially worried about him, the two of you will talk for hours

But your relationship isn’t solely based on Hiccup

Hiccup was never a fan of Snotlout growing up and the feeling may have rubbed off a bit on you

Helping Tuffnut when Ruffnut played a mean joke on him

Fishlegs

Fishlegs is kind of a coward and you’ve always found that endearing

Whenever he’s around, you spend time with him learning about dragons

Dragons aren’t your strength, they’re more Hiccups thing but your brother is too busy to teach you himself so Fishlegs helps instead

Sitting with him when he feels too overwhelmed

Encouraging him to go out with the other riders when he doesn’t want to

You gained popularity from your looks and flirty personality; not to forget you hung out with the volleyball team which further boosted your popularity.

You and Kuroo were the hot “best friends” of Nekoma.

Girls huddled outside the gym towards the end of practice where you’d wait for Kuroo.

You’d flirt with some of the girls, which led them to believe you were interested, but you shut them down when they’d ask you out on a date.

This made you Nekoma’s resident fuckboy, but they couldn’t keep themselves away, thinking one day you’d cave and one lucky girl would become your’s.

In reality, flirting was a way to cover up your relationship with the volleyball captain.

“Special friends” was how Oikawa described your relationship. He’d say this proudly in front of you and your fangirls who thought it meant nothing more than best friends.

But you wanted to take it to the next level and, unbeknownst to you, so did he.

Your heart fluttered at every kiss, touch, and when he’d whisper sweet nothings in your ear.

Oikawa’s bed felt cold and empty without you. He wanted to hold you against him, to cuddle and shower you with all the affection you deserved.

He grew jealous of the girls; you were his baby and his only.

You both kept your feelings to yourselves, afraid of driving the other away.

At school, you received bento boxes, flowers, and love letters on your desk almost every day. You appreciated the sentiment, but your heart belonged to Oikawa.

The girls took your rejections as a challenge. They thought it was your shyness holding you back, but you were simply uninterested.

At lunch, you sat with Oikawa and Iwaizumi in the school courtyard, sharing the bento boxes from that day.

Girls swarmed your table once again. They flirted endlessly, slipping notes into your bag, playing with your hair, hinting they were free that weekend and needed someone to keep them company.

Flustered, you clenched your fist under the table but couldn’t bring yourself to speak.

That is until one girl poked your shoulder in the exact spot Oikawa left a mark days before and whispered in your ear.

“(Y/N)-san, I’ll make your wildest dreams come true…”

You nearly knocked her over as rage flowed through your veins.

“I-I don’t want you!”

All eyes turned to you.

“I’m- I’m- I’m with Oikawa-san!” You showed your hand entwined with his.

Shocked was an understatement; the captain’s heart had never raced this fast before.

The girls thought it was a joke till you kissed Oikawa hard.

His face turned beet red along with yours.

He recovered quickly and slung his arm over your shoulders.

“That’s right, (Y/N)’s mine. Any complaints?”

The girls shook their heads and scurried off, heartbroken and confused. Once gone, Oikawa pressed a soft kiss to your temple.

“Mine, huh? How about we make it official.”

Your eyes lit up with glee. “Y-Yes!”

“I hoped so, little cutie…”

Iwa-chan, who sat and ate from his bento box the whole ordeal, let out a dramatic sigh.

“Fucking finally. He’s had the biggest crush on you for God knows how long, (Y/N).”

“Shut up! He’s right though…”

You kissed him once more. “So have I,” you admitted bashfully.

Oikawa’s jaw dropped. “Then why didn’t you say anything?!”

You turned your gaze to the floor. “I thought I’d scare you off and you wouldn’t want me anymore.”

Oikawa’s face softened with a hint of sadness in his eyes. “You could never scare me off, (Y/N). I’ll always be by your side. You can’t keep me away even if you wanted to, especially since I’m your boyfriend now.”

You spent the rest of the day in pure bliss.

a giddy smile crossed his face while mc struggles to not stare at him looking so cute like that as she coughs into her hand, avoiding eye-contact

pretty boys have too much power in their hands

and she’s one of their fallen victims towards their charms

this isn’t fair for her heart

so when the bus arrived

they sat beside each other on the bus

hyunjin did most of the chattering while mc listens

he was so glad he cleared smth up with her

if she allows it, he would definitely tried to hug her

until he remembers that one time changbin told him he almost got punch in the face by her

when he tried doing it the first time and startled her

yeah no not now

maybe sometime in the near future, a long-awaited hug would be great

(if he was honest tho, he really wanted to cry when she told him the truth)

(it felt like a heartache)

but it’s okay now though

they’re friends now (somewhat) and that’s all that matters

first off, hello 🤷‍♀️ anon! sorry i missed you out

and secondly, dw, marius is my favourite too lol, he reminds me a lot of my younger cousin who i lived with when i was younger. i was always the one who took care of him and marius calling me older sister just set off so much memories of my childhood. the both of them are also vv similar in personality, attention seeking, playful and artistic so i always see him whenever i look at marius.

artem is probably my second favourite ngl, ever since i read his ssr where he was jealous and got drunk (what a good combination lmao) i just grew so soft for him. at the end of the day, he's just a vv soft sweetheart who's insecure that we'll leave him :(( i have like 3 ssrs at lvl36, two of them are artem cards and the other is luke. i vibe with luke too bc i love the childhood friends trope, it's top tier. and as for vyn... i have vv mixed feelings abt him. i feel like he could so easily see through me if he was real and i'm just like, how about no. he's rlly pretty though, like rlly pretty.

and you've finished the archon quests!!! personally, i feel like the ending felt a bit rushed(?). it's weird bc i thought the resistance war against the raiden shogun was supposed to be the center of the story, but it just devolved to us helping yae with the entire war being swept to the side. and i already knew somebody was gonna die, and as soon as i saw that teppei had become the captain, i just knew.

it's interesting bc i would love to explore what happened to la signora and scaramouche to make them so disregarding of human life. like, i don't like them, but i want to understand their minds. it's sad to read signora's artifact's background honestly. and the fact that her crown said she used to be called rosalyne, that she had perhaps once led a more innocent and naive existence. i dunno, to me it seems like a good ending for her honestly, she had already lost herself after her lover's death and brings pain to many others, i don't think she can rlly return to being her again.

and honestly, a lot of people are talking abt scaramouche not telling signora he already had the gnosis and saying that he orchestrated her death, i don't rlly think so. i feel like he's just that apathetic to human life, even if it's someone that stands on his side, he just doesn't care enough. it also says how he never got along with anyone, not even his fellow harbingers, so i don't know why ppl expect him to seek out someone he doesn't like just to warn her of danger.

i vibe with scaramouche and la signora as the antagonists bc they're good antagonists, but as characters, well. other than the fact that they're pretty, they have like one likeable trait and that is their loyalty. they would do anything for the tsaritsa even if it cost them their life. i'm rlly excited to see what the tsaritsa has in store for us in the future.

considering our sibling is nicknamed 'the prince/princess', i wonder if there's gonna be a day where we're gonna have to go toe to toe with them. if we had them backed them into a corner with no way out, i wonder if they would kill us. it would be an interesting twist if we could actually die, but i feel like the protagonist halo will prevent it lol and i'm sorry bc god, this is so long.

now that the excitement’s worn off, i can now judge things properly. i think that… the pacing is horrible. like the plot is good, genuinely, but there’s just,, so much to explore abt this. if you think abt it, this is the climax and yet we didnt get much. scratch that. we got a lot but it’s all underdeveloped that it felt like nothing. we go to sangonimiya, got promoted, became captain for like, one sec before we are sent onto an investigation that didnt really produce any results bc app teppei alr knows everything? and then the delusion thing is a good plot point but it’s not really explored? just… a lot of things are left unexplored and i think that story wise, a lot of the possible lore explanations went down the drain. it would’ve been nice if we saw more abt the rebellion and if we had gotten to know whats the real deal w the commissions but eh… idk… i would’ve rather done more quests abt this whole storyline than like… do that whole dance w the three people who lost their vision in 2.0.

if im going to be honest, la signora is such a wasted character. like maybe her death was just for the shock factor or maybe it’s to prepare us for more harbinger encounters in the future.. idk but she’s such a good character from what we’ve seen but we know jack shit abt her and her motives. we know a little from the artifact set but beyond that, what do we have?

precisely! that’s how i feel abt this whole thing when we’re talking seriously. like w ei, i dont really agree w whatever they’re doing but i want to understand why they do the things that they do. everything has a reason and their psychology is just interesting to me.

i think scaramouche’s nature makes it easy for him to disregard human life. call it arrogance or whatever but ultimately, he’s seeing himself as smth above all these people bc he’s more or less capable of standing toe to toe w a god. why should he bother telling signora? it’s not like he gains anything if he does. i think that when he got the gnosis, he’s just ‘well she dies if she dies. who cares abt that? i dont have any need for incompetent colleagues anw’ i agree and i dont think he orchestrated her death but at the same time, he just allowed it to happen too.

as for signora, i’m actually surprised? for the most part, i think that the harbingers took their posts for selfish reasons. for scara, it’s to entertain himself and pass time. for childe, it’s to fight and grow stronger. for dottore, it’s to conduct dubious research w/o anyone stopping him. i expected signora to have some similar motive like power or money but it seems like she does actually believe in the tsaritsa? it would be very intriguing if signora’s main motive in becoming a harbinger is simply bc she is loyal to the tsaritsa and her will. bc in contrast, i think scara and dottore are more loyal to the fact that the tsaritsa can give them what they want, not bc they actually like her. actually, idek if they’re willing to die for her lol. like i wouldnt be surprised if they suddenly abandon post in a life or death situation but who knows…

in any case, they are very good antagonists. i like yo think that the tsaritsa isnt as bad as the game portrays her to be… of all the gods, she’s the one im looking forward to the most but… haha… what version would that be….

i’m almost certain that they’ll make us fight our twin maybe before we face the unknown god? if one of them dies, i would be very sad. like legit. but knowing mhy, well, our twin is almost 100% a walking death flag.

11 for 11 may, my god bless you my friend!! <3 And Also THANKS FOR THE ASKS!! <33 Sorry it took so long I really wanted to take my time hehe c: 11. Describe your ideal day. I think my ideal day is sleeping in late, what for me is normal, around 12pm. Then I wake up, eat a good breakfast, sit with my cat on my lap for smtn like an hour. And then I go outside, bcs the sun is shining. I meet my friends and we go picknick somewhere in the sun beneath a few little trees. I buy smtn to drink somewhere because its very hot and ofc I forgot my drink. Its so refreshing and I feel so alive and the world is so beautifull. Me and my friends, we laugh a lot and just enjoy the good weather, the nice day and the little foods. And than at the evening we bbq or eat smtn else nice, and have a good evening. We sit outside for a while, feeling the summer evening becoming cooler. We watch as the stars come out and think to ourselves if we ever looked up at the same stars together in another life. And then when it’s really late, I go back home, feeling the cool breeze against my skin while I ride my electric bike. At home everyone is asleep so I walk in very softly and there I see my cat sleeping in the chair so I walk to her and bent over giving her a gentle kiss on her little head. She makes mmrrr sound and I tell her I love her and that I had an amazing day. After that I give her some food and I go to bed. Maybe take a showe bcs it was so hot today. And then I lay in my bed, tired but very fufilled after such a wonderfull day. Storing the happy memories in my head thinking how blessed I am with my life. As I fall asleep I feel gratefull for today and all the beautiful things that brought it. Yeah, I think thats mu ideal day. It is a cow, that is formed like a teddy bear so its more cartroony instead of animal like, her name is Koetjeboe and you could play a musicbox song of A Small World from Disneyland. It was my favarite soung and whenever I felt anxious as I child I would play it and it would sooth my soul and fill me with happyness. Aaah good times c: I also had a cat, named, Poes, she is very very very soft, well was, nowadays she aint HAHA she looked like my cat when I was younger, Sjimmie, I loved the plush. Mom bought it for me in England in the Harry Potter castle. It was amazing c: So, I kinda had two, but Koetjeboe the cow is rly my birth stuffed animal haha c:’’ 25. What dream trip would you take with your wife? Honestly, anywhere with her would be a dream. And if she has somewhere wehere she really wants to go, I would just go with that c: Seeing someone you love happy is such a gift so I totally wouldn’t mind going anywhere. That is also because I have so many places I want to go, and almost every place interests me. I can’t think of a country or city or place I am not interested in visiting. A lot of things make me smile tbh bcs I get happyness out of almost everything. I can remember that I was crying and felt sad, and even then I smiled because it was such a special experience haha. How do you show your love? Again, how don’t I? I learned at a very young age to show love in different ways. Bcs I wanted to be a good person. And one of those things is showing love. So I do it with words, saying I really love someone or giving them compliments, thats a big one for me haha. I also like to really support my friends through words. Just supporting them for whoever they are! I also like to give things. It can go from small presents to food to many or big presents on their birthday. Also I like to help people, to give them advice or agai support them any way I can. I also show it through physical contact, as in hugs ans such. And I even sometimes lean toward just really cuddling up to someone HAHAHA But I don’t do that tbh, bcs at the same time it makes me feel uncomfy, but at the same time im like: Ohmygawd I love yo uso much just lemme huddle up against you to share my love with you and ahfgs. So amny ways HAHAHA some more difficult for me and others really easy. Like presents or food, hit me up, imma get you some nice flowers or some sweets or a book you really like bcs I love yu!

38. Who do you admire? Myself *smirk* HAHHA no kiddin. I admire my friends. Because those people have been through hell, or still going through hell, and still decide to be genuine good persons. I’ve seen from upclose what they have to deal with. And they still give so much love tot he world and people and want to help. Its really a blessing to have people like that around me. Kenma stared at his screen, wondering what he should say. His mind wandered, thinking about the fact that (Y/N) was somewhere out there, in the comforts of her own home, sitting and playing the same game he was playing. He thought about how she was probably sitting cross-legged, or slouched, or her back completely straight as she probably wore headphones over her ears, or earbuds tucked in the confines of her ears, or blasted the game soundtrack through the speakers of her computer. Kenma sighed, as he slouched back in his chair. A blush crept over his face. He was talking to his crush over a video game. It was practically like texting her. Kenma began to type once more.

applepi: yea im still here

applepi: so abt my crush

No, no, no! What was he doing? He couldn’t possibly tell his crush about his crush! Why? Why would he do that?! He immediately typed in a “never mind.” Despite some protests from the other person, the two pretended to forget that ever happened.

All throughout the weekend, Kenma sulked and sulked. There was no particular reason, but he just felt so uncomfortable knowing that he told his crush that he had a crush on someone. There was also the factor that (Y/N) didn’t seem quite interested in what he had to say about his predicament, unlike past times where he could talk about anything he wanted and she would gladly contribute all she had to offer to help the poor boy out.

And so the terrible weekend had ended. It was a nice break for Kenma, being away from everything and everyone; he immersed himself in the virtual world as he let go of all of his worries. But now he had to face reality once more - he had to face (Y/N), the terrible final boss. He had so many more enemies he had to defeat (his teammates, according to Kenma), but the powerful weapon of ignoring them always beat them in the end.

He wanted to stay in his bad mood for the entire school day. It was his plan, and it was a really good plan, but (Y/N) just had to ruin it.

Kenma sat at his desk in his classroom that morning they returned from the weekend. He stared at the nothingness that lay before him on his desk until he heard the sweet sound of (Y/N)’s voice when she came through the door to the classroom. He heard her laugh as she greeted those around her a good morning. He relished in the music as she walked towards her desk.

“Good morning, Kenma-kun!” (Y/N) chirped, as she sat down. Kenma jumped at the sudden words, and he felt warmth everywhere, especially in his cheeks. He smiled at the sound of her greeting, and said one back. God, no one could make him feel the way she makes him feel when he’s around her. He took a deep breath, knowing that his unrequited love consumed his whole heart. Ah, if he were only as smooth as Kuroo was and knew his way with words.

Kenma frowned; from a mile away, one could tell he was clearly in a bad mood. He hung his head down low, as he was reminded of (Y/N)’s date last weekend.

“Kenma-kun, are you okay? Is there something wrong?” (Y/N) asked, her voice laced with concern. Her eyes studied his face, discontentment written all over it. She wondered what she should do; if only she could consult applepi in this situation. The setter faced (Y/N) and he smiled.

“Ah, it’s nothing, (Y/N)-san, please don’t worry,” he murmured, hoping that she would get the feeling that he would like to be left alone.

And so for the rest of the time they sat next to each other during class, (Y/N) thought about everything that applepi had advised her to do with every problem that she had:

(Y/N) looked down at her notes to see that she had written nothing compared to all the complicated words written on the blackboard. She had been staring at the blackboard daydreaming about how she had fallen in love with her internet best friend. (Y/N) thought it was silly, really; it was stupid how she had fallen in love over text on a screen. But those words, all of those words that some guy out there named “applepi” had accompanied her throughout her best and her worst times. She could stay up all night to see them up as well, fighting away enemies to clear the level. From in-game items to wise words of advice, (Y/N) owed so much to this person.

And Kenma had no idea that his crush liked him back.

(Y/N) was a very friendly person; everybody in the volleyball club could see that. It seemed to Kenma, of course, that (Y/N) was the friendliest with Kuroo Tetsuro, the captain. All throughout practice they would constantly make jokes with each other, teasing and pushing each other around. It hurt Kenma; it really did. But (Y/N) did not know that.

In fact, after that dreaded date over the weekend, (Y/N) and Kuroo promised to each other that they would not go out on a second date. They realized that they were better off as friends, for Kuroo could sense in (Y/N)’s eyes and her words that she had the ability to break Kenma out of his shell, even further than Hinata had done. She also told off Kuroo, telling him that she couldn’t date someone who had such weird bed-head hair, much to his disdain. He couldn’t get rid of it! And besides… she already had someone in her heart.

But the point of the matter is: Kenma was taking this completely the wrong way. He watched with jealous eyes as Kuroo and (Y/N) shared playful banter. Her beautiful laugh rang in Kenma’s ears for all the wrong reasons.

As they practiced serving, Kuroo used this as an opportunity to try out his jump serves. He was consistent, but the one time he hit it into the net, (Y/N), who was watching for stray balls, called out to him, teased him to no end. The other teammates laughed on, especially Haiba Lev, whose serves were just as bad. Kenma mentally cursed at Kuroo, for stealing away (Y/N). He could never possibly curse at him for real; everyone would be in shock at his sudden outburst and ask him what was wrong. (Y/N) would ask him what was wrong. And if that happened… he would freeze up and definitely lose another life.

When they began practicing receiving, Taketora called out to Yaku to try out Karasuno’s libero’s “Rolling Thunder,” or whatever it was called, to which Kuroo made a sarcastic remark that Yaku could never pull off something as flashy as that. (Y/N) laughed, despite not knowing what the “Rolling Thunder” move was. Once again, Kenma mentally told off Kuroo to stop saying funny things that (Y/N) could laugh at. His jokes were the ones that made (Y/N) laugh; he knows this because she laughed at all the jokes he made over their chat in their video game.

During their water break, Kuroo and (Y/N) played a little chasing game as she playfully refused to hand him his water bottle. She tossed his bottle to Taketora, who then threw it to Fukunaga, handing it over to Yaku. Kuroo chased the libero around, who passed it on to Inuoka. He gave a hearty laugh as he tossed it to Lev. Silly, clumsy Lev called out to Kenma as the tall boy threw it to Kenma, who with his slow reaction did not catch it in time. The lid of the bottle flew open, and water poured out everywhere. Everyone else watched in shock, but the initial shock passed by them as they all began laughing.

Kenma thought they were all laughing at him.

The same ordeals continued even after the water break, and after a millennia later, the practice ended. Kenma, along with everyone else, helped clean up after practice. They also cleaned up the little water spill, which (Y/N) thanked Kenma for helping clean up.

Kenma changed his clothes in the club room. He was the only one inside, as Kuroo and (Y/N) were outside waiting for him. He could hear their laughter through the doors. Then they suddenly went silent. Kenma groaned, knowing that they were probably making out or something, as he buttoned his uniform back up.

He opened the door, and to his surprise, Kuroo and (Y/N) were actually not exploring each others’ mouths with their tongues. Instead, he opened the door to see a smirking Kuroo and a very, very flustered (Y/N). She gasped slightly when she caught sight of Kenma and she turned her flustered face away from his prying eyes. Poor Kenma thought that he had accidentally caught them making out and they pulled away right as he opened the door.

And so he walked away, leaving them in the dust.
