Moments like these were precious to Vincent. These quiet serene moments where the only sound was the chirping of birds and the soft, mellow music in the background that accompanied it. He liked to light a cigarette, lean into his chair as he sat on his small balcony, looking out to the sky and the street below him.
However what captured his attention more was the cute little baker from across from him.
Vincent noticed that she often started her day early, rushing into the store as if her pants were on fire, hair unkempt and a cigarette dangling from her lips as the long winter coat protected her from the harsh wind. Vincent often donned a smile seeing her. He saw himself in her. The way the hair was messy and the cigarette, she was just another version of him. One that he so desperately wanted to know.
He watched her now, eyes squinting slightly as the silver haired man waited for his mystery woman to arrive. She was late today but Vincent swore up and down that he wasn’t stalking her. No, he’d never do that. He’d just familiarized himself with her routine. It wasn’t much different from his own. Up at such ungodly hours doing lord knows what.
This time though, she felt him watching. The clearly disheveled woman could feel eyes on her a couple months ago yet she chose to ignore it. Until she caught a glimpse of possibly the most beautiful man she’d ever seen. The young woman let a small smile graced her lips as he looked up at him, eyes squinting from the sun that decided to peek out today. He wasn’t looking at her then, no. He was looking ahead, not even in her direction. Deciding that she was running late already, the woman headed into the shop, quite unaware of Vincent’s watchful eyes.
Days went by yet neither of them made any moves. (Y/n) watched him occasionally, admiring the way his silver hair fell over his forehead. He looked like a cat. A very beautiful cat. She wanted to know the man yet she couldn’t exactly match up to him and ask questions. Her nose crinkled at the thought of being so invasive. Vincent, ever the recluse, watched her from his balcony, a cigarette in his mouth. He wanted to introduce himself to her and get to know her, possibly at dinner but he didn’t. He couldn’t.
“Watching him again?” A voice, Helene’s voice, interrupted the young woman from her thoughts. She turned her head slightly to look at the older woman standing in front of her, a teasing smile on her face and arms crossed.
(Y/n) scoffed. “No, I’m just… admiring the weather.” Her voice held uncertainty. Helene laughed, the young woman couldn’t lie to save a life.
“Mhm, because the weather is stunning today.” It wasn’t. The weather was horrible, not a peak of sunshine. It was just strong wind and clouds looking like they’re about to bless the ground with snow.
“Yeah. I can’t wait for the inevitable snow storm we’ll have.” The younger woman replied sarcastically, throwing her hair over her shoulder. She’d done it nicely today, two braids on both sides.
Helene looked up at the man, his name still unknown to both of them.
“He is quite beautiful.” She sighed, taking in Vincent’s form and earning herself a jab in the rib from her coworker.
“Come. Stop being distracted, we have work to do.” (Y/n) tells her, pulling the older woman in by her arm, leaving Vincent unbeknownst to their conversation.
The older man retreated into his apartment, it wasn’t a very small one. It was nice, well, nice enough for him. Two bedrooms, one used as an office while the other one looked like it had barely been slept in. He rubbed his eyes, trying to drive away the tiredness that seeped through his bones and into his head. Vincent looked over to the pile of files he had to sort through, sighing, he went over to brew himself a nice, warm cup of coffee.
“Fuck.” Vincent muttered, seeing the sputtering of the old machine. He sighed, rubbing his forehead in agitation. He knew he should’ve replaced the damn machine months ago but he didn’t. And now he’s seeing the fruit of his labour. Maybe today was his lucky day. Maybe he’d get to talk to the cute owner of the coffee shop. The older man exhaled deeply, pulling on a black sweater, one of his nicer ones along with a black trench coat.
The weather didn’t seem to be letting up soon and he wasn’t fond of freezing.
Vincent made his way down the stairs of his apartment, walking across the street and towards the shop. He stopped for a minute, breathing deeply, he didn’t want to come across as a stalker and he sincerely hoped that the cute girl didn’t notice his obvious staring. He pulled the door open, walking into the shop, surprised to see it busy.
“Oh my god.” Helene whispered, her jaw dropping as she noticed the silver haired man walk in. She nudges the younger woman beside her.
“What?” (Y/n) asked her, not in the mood to listen to another one of Helene’s rants on the cute guy that just walked in. (Y/n) stood up from where she was crouching and turned to look in Helene’s line of direction, only for her jaw to drop as well. The man that she had been admiring for the past few weeks was even more beautiful up close. His hair fell so perfectly over his forehead and the sweater he wore just did something for him. Not that he wasn’t perfect already.
Vincent looked at her, eyes crinkling as a small smile donned his lips as he made his way up to the counter.
“Hello.” Vincent greeted her politely, hands stuffed into his coat pockets. God she was even more beautiful up close. Big doe eyes looking up at him from behind the counter making him forget why he was here in the first place.
“Oh hello! Welcome to Café of Curiosity! How can I help you today?” The young woman chirped happily, looking at Vincent. Well, she wasn’t really looking, she was admiring him. Vincent lost his train of thoughts for a small second. He wanted to hear her voice for the rest of his life.
“Café of Curiosity?” He asked.
“Mhm. It’s because there’s many coffee flavors that intrigue curiosity that we offer!” Helene chirps in and both of them turn to look at her. (Y/n) shooting her a sharp glare while the older man just looks at her and nods before turning his attention to the woman before him.
“Right then. I’ll just get a plain black coffee and a croissant, please.” Vincent tells the young woman in front of him, nodding at his choices.
“Going for the basics?” She asks, not looking up at him from the screen. Vincent hums in answer.
“Right… May I grab a name for the order?” She asks him kindly, offering him a sugary sweet smile.
“Oh I’m sorry! It’s Vincent.” (Y/n) laughed at his expression, a deer in headlights. Vincent felt warmth rush up to his neck and into his cheeks, no doubt looking like a beetroot. He’s sure he’s embarrassed himself and ruined all his chances while the woman opposite him thought that he was endearing and charming, in an awkward way. She nodded and gestured for him to wait by the other side of the counter.
“He’s cute, no?” Helene nudged the younger girl who only smiled. Helene knew though, she always knew. She looked up at the man, Vincent, who was looking at her co-worker and smiled.
“Well, I’m not handing him his order.” Helene exclaimed, moving to greet the person at the counter.
“What why?!” (Y/n) asked, eyebrows furrowed together and a small pout on her lips.
“Because, my dear, I doubt I’m the one he’s here to see.” Helene winked, pushing the younger girl forward gently. Vincent smiled awkwardly, fiddling with his phone, opening the photos app and settings, trying to look like he was doing something other than staring.
“Vincent!” She called out, capturing his attention. The said man looked up at her, smiling. He seemed to be doing a lot of that near her. He went up to the counter to grab his drink and croissant, hands briefly touching.
“Oh, thank you!” He responded, grabbing his coffee off the counter. The younger woman nodded her head in response. Having nothing else to say, he awkwardly turned around and left, cursing himself for not saying more. Inside the café, (Y/n) was doing the same, shaking her head in disapproval at her stupidity for not saying anything.
“You know, he’s still outside.” Helene pointed out, seeing the mop of silver waiting for the light to turn green. (Y/n) looked at her before smirking, she grabbed a tiramisu, tossing it in a box before running out.
“Vincent!” The young woman yelled out, waving her hand for him to pause, and he did. Vincent halted in his tracks, waiting for the woman to catch up.
“You forgot this.” She panted out, one hand holding the box out to him while the other was on her knee, trying to catch her breath.
“Oh… I didn’t order this.” He told her, trying to turn it down, thinking that she had mistaken him for someone else.
“Think of it as a treat! From me to you.” She told him, shoving the box in his hands and bolting before he had a chance to say anything else. The older man huffed out a small laugh at their interaction and made his way home, not thinking much of it. On his short walk home, he couldn’t get the sound of her voice out of his head.
Vincent Renzi was utterly enamoured by this siren of a woman.
He set the box down, opening it up only to see something that surprised him. Inside the box was the woman’s phone number and name.
“Call me… or not.” He whispered out loud, laughing a bit. He hadn’t even known her properly yet she was already weaseling her way into his heart. He saved the number in his phone, not quite ready to shoot her a text yet.
This had to be the best day possible for him. All because he forgot to replace his stupid coffee maker.
Deciding that the weather wasn’t going to change its mind anytime soon, Vincent decided to drink and work outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. Only to see that she was waiting for him, in the window of her café, waving at him shyly before signaling her hand into a phone. Vincent nodded, truly intending to know the woman more, hopefully over a nice dinner and a glass of wine. She smiled before turning on her heels and rushing back to the café.
Oh dear, he hadn’t even known her yet he was in so deep.

Hii douma! May I request Shoto just in love? Just him being in love for the very first time and the concept of love just so foreign to him? Have a great day/night!
Tumblr media
MY HERO ACADEMIA MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
The cold spring air of U.A. High School's training grounds swept across Shoto Todoroki's face, his distinctive heterochromatic eyes glancing stoically at the horizon. As he approached the courtyard, the brisk wind tousled his dual-toned hair, and for the first time, a peculiar sensation stirred within him. It was an emotion he hadn't experienced before, a feeling that seemed to thaw the icy demeanor that usually defined him, yet he couldn't put a finger on what was it.
As the son of Endeavor, emotions had never been a territory he explored willingly. However, this day would mark a shift, an unexpected twist in the stoic narrative of Todoroki's life.
Shoto was no stranger to intense emotions. Anger, resentment, and the relentless pursuit of self-discovery had been his companions for as long as he could remember. But this was different – a foreign concept that had invaded the carefully constructed fortress around his heart.
As he walked past the cherry blossom trees, their delicate petals swirling in the air, his gaze landed on a figure standing by the fountain.
It was you, a fellow classmate whose presence had recently begun to captivate him. You were a presence in his life that had begun to defy categorization. You were just a person — a puzzle piece that didn't quite fit the mold he'd grown accustomed to. He admired you from afar, appreciating your strength and determination in both academics and combat.
It began innocently, Shoto noticed. A shared glance across the classroom, a casual comment during training, and the casual camaraderie of shared laughter. But as days unfolded, the puzzle piece shifted, creating a mosaic he hadn't anticipated. He was no stranger to intensity; after all, his own quirk bore the duality of fire and ice. Yet, this newfound sentiment was a flame of a different kind, uncharted and unsettling.
"Hey," he called out, his voice surprisingly steady despite the internal turmoil.
You turned towards him, a quizzical smile gracing your lips. "Todoroki, hey. Is everything okay?"
Shoto hesitated, his usual calm exterior cracking just a bit. "I… I wanted to talk."
Curiosity sparked in your eyes as you nodded, inviting him to continue.
"I've been thinking," Shoto began, his usually concise words replaced by a rare vulnerability. "About feelings. Emotions. And there's something I can't quite comprehend."
You listened intently, sensing the gravity of Shoto's words. "What is it?"
"I've always been driven by my goals, my desire to surpass my limits, and the need to prove my father wrong," he continued, "but lately, I find myself caught in a different struggle. It's like a flame inside me, burning with an intensity I can't control."
You tilted your head, intrigued. "Oh?"
Shoto nodded, his gaze meeting yours with an intensity that surprised even himself. "It's a distraction, an enigma that I can't unravel. It's like standing at the edge of a precipice, uncertain of the fall," he admitted, a rare flicker of uncertainty crossing his features.
Your lips curled into a gentle smile. "Love, Todoroki. It sounds like you're in love."
Todoroki's brows furrowed, the word foreign on his tongue. Love. A concept he'd analyzed in textbooks but never expected to encounter firsthand.
You smiled gently, understanding the conflict within him. "Love is complex, Shoto. It's not something you can control or quantify. It's a force that binds us together, that makes us vulnerable and strong at the same time."
Shoto absorbed your words, his internal battle slowly subsiding. "I don't know how to navigate this unfamiliar territory."
You reached out, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "It's okay not to have all the answers. Love is a journey, not a destination. Take your time, Todoroki."
"I think… I might be in love with you," he confessed, the admission hanging in the air like the delicate petals of cherry blossoms.
Your eyes widened, a subtle blush adorning your features. "Todoroki, that's…" you began, but he silenced you with a tender touch as he placed his hand to your rosy cheek.
"Let me finish," he whispered, his breath mingling with the soft evening breeze. "I might not fully understand it, but I know that being around you feels just right. I love spending my time with you, it doesn't matter if we just chat or study together."
A heartbeat passed between you, the air charged with unspoken emotions. And then, in a moment both tender and profound, Shoto leaned in, placing a gentle kiss to your cheek. It was a sweet, hesitant kiss, a step into the uncharted territory of love.
As he looked at you, the world around seemed to fade, leaving only the two of you in the quiet embrace newfound feelings. Shoto's stoic facade melted away, revealing a vulnerability.
A quiet moment passed before you chuckled, breaking the tension. "Well, that's unexpected. I never thought I'd be the one to thaw Todoroki's icy heart."
A small, hesitant smile tugged at Todoroki's lips. Embracing the vulnerability he rarely allowed himself to show, Shoto took a deep breath. "Would you mind if I… explore this feeling with you?"
"I'd like that, Shoto," you replied, reaching your hand out to intertwine your fingers with his.

The sound of the doorknob rattling was Mingi’s favorite sound, along with your keys jingling on the other side of the door indicating you had returned home from work. He excitedly sat on the couch with his hands in his lap, the front door to your shared apartment creaking open.
As you stepped through the door, all of the weight on your shoulders lifted as you let out a sigh of relief and kicked your heels off to the side. You put your purse on a nearby table and hang your keys next to the front door. As you reveled in the comfort of your own home, Mingi turned the corner and rushed over to you.
There, now standing in the middle of the room with a smile on his face, stands your clingy husband Mingi. His eyes lit up when he caught the sight of you and he walked over, effortlessly picking you up as if you weighed nothing. He kisses you on the cheek and you giggle. You loved how strong he was. Being able to quite literally sweep you off of your feet.
“You’re home!” he says cheerfully. “I got home early today and didn’t have anything else to do but watch TV. I made you something to eat if you’re hungry?”
You smiled and nodded, wrapping your arms around his neck. “I am, actually. Haven’t eaten anything since eight this morning.”
“Why didn’t you eat? I made you breakfast this morning?”
“I simply wasn’t hungry.” you pinched his cheek and he set you down, taking your hand and dragging you into the kitchen. You were a bit taken aback by his reaction since he wasn’t normally this clingy when you came home from work. Something was up.
“I thought of something today,” he says while sitting you in a chair and walking toward the fridge. “I think we should try it.”
“Oh? And what’s this idea?” you cross your legs.
“Well..” he turns. “I thought maybe I could try and dom you? Just once!”
You knew it. You thought him sending you videos of boyfriends pushing their girlfriends head first into the pillow was just a fantasy he had but never truly wanted to act upon, but he actually wanted to dom you. This time he wanted to be in control and at first, you were skeptical. But the idea of trying something new was fun.
“Alright. Let’s try it.” you smile. “When did you want to try?”
“Today…” he chuckled. “Now, maybe?”
Tumblr media
The room was dark, save for the dim light of the moon bleeding into the room through the thin curtains. Your window was open, so cool air came rushing into the room, making you shiver a bit but ultimately making you more excited. Mingi was going to try and be in control and you were pretty excited to see how it’d go.
You lay there, naked and exposed, completely to Mingi’s will as your heart raced with anticipation. He knelt beside you, eyes boring into yours with a mixture of desire and uncertainty. Ever since the two of you met, he’s been submissive in bed. There hasn’t been a time where he’s tried to take control. But tonight, was different. Tonight, he was going to be the one in control. Having you beg to come around him instead of him doing so.
You agreed to doing this, and now he towered over you, muscles tensed and breaths in ragged gasps.
“Honey,” he whispered. “You’re beautiful,” he trails a finger down your chest. “So perfect,” you couldn’t deny it, his touches were sending many shivers down your spine. You arched your back to his touch and whined softly. “I’ll show you what it’s like to be submissive.”
His words only made you more excited. As he leaned closer, you could feel the tremor in his large frame. This was new territory for him, and you couldn’t wonder how far he’d go with this new idea. What kind of kinks would he unleash on you tonight? He gently presses his lips against yours and you give into the sensation, allowing yourself to be swept away by the foreign feeling of being submissive to him.
“I’ll be gentle,” he mumbled in your ear, kissing down your body and caressing your skin. He makes it to your belly button, kisses surrounding it, and continuing down, gripping your thighs and pulling them apart.
His touch was gentle yet firm, caressing your skin as he guided your body into positions that he was familiar with, not you. Positions that usually saw you as the one in control. Gently, he uses his thumbs to part your lips and stare at your entrance. He leaned in closer, breath fanning across your most sensitive parts, beginning to lick up your navel and to your clit. On instinct, you grab his hair, pulling at it and moaning.
"J-Jesus, fuck-!" you shuddered, hips arching into the bed and your heels digging into his back. He held you down by your hips and sucked on your clit, your scent filling his nose, a mixture of sweetness and musk that drove him wild. He lapped your juices, keeping your legs apart and forcing you to keep them open.
You struggled to stay still, your body giving up on you and giving in to the sensations. He began to feel your body respond, your hips moving on their own accord, seeking more contact. Taking this as his cue he engulfed you in his mouth. Immediately your cries filled the room, growing even louder when his fingers entered you and began to curl up to hit your sensitive parts. You twist and turn, grabbing the pillow from underneath your head and holding it on your face, your moans now muffled by the pillow but audible enough to send shivers down his spine.
Normally, Mingi loved eating you out. Hearing your moans would turn him on. Pleasing you and being at your will would turn him on, but eating you out being the one in control, it felt different. He liked it. He liked knowing you'd have to ask to cum this time.
Soon, he found himself lost in the sensations that your body elicited, thrusting his fingers into you roughly and flicking his tongue against your clit. The way you arched your back and cried out his name made him go crazy.
"Cum, baby. Cum all over my face," he mumbles, the vibrations from his voice spiking through your body.
"I'm-" You gasp, legs beginning to close around his head. "I'm gonna-" You came apart in his hold, twisting and turning as the strong orgasm ripped through your body and made you feel lightheaded. He held your hips down, fingering you through your high.
Kissing up your body, he wasted no time grabbing his cock and pushing it inside of you, ultimately stretching you open and causing you to feel like your insides were being ripped apart. Even being the dom in the relationship, you'd struggle to ride him sometimes due to how big and girthy he was. You gasped loudly and grabbed onto him, your noises being cut off by his lips attaching to yours. You were trapped beneath his body with no escape, a cold hard reminder of his dominance. His tongue thrust in your mouth and you tasted - well - yourself on his tongue, but didn't mind it.
He began to thrust, pressing against you in a demanding, insistent rhythm. You arched your back to meet his thrusts with your own. The pleasure overwhelmed you feeling like your skin was on fire in the best way possible. Your breath came in ragged breaths and your eyes fluttered close.
"So good..." he moans in your ear. "Good girl, baby. Such a good girl, taking me so easily. So wet you could barely stay still, hm?"
"I-I..." your orgasm was creeping up. "Mingiii~"
His cock found the perfect spots inside of you making you writhe in pleasure, thrusts becoming faster as his own climax approached. You noticed his hips stuttering and him mumbling sweet nothings into your ear. You thought it was the heat of the moment causing you to hallucinate until he whimpered your name.
"Just wanna fill you up," he thrust deeper. Just as he seemed to be hitting his stride, something shifted in his expression. The same glistening look he'd have in his eyes when you'd take control of him. You realized then that he was falling into sub-space with his impending orgasm, losing himself completely in the feeling of your pussy clenching around him like always.
Your heart raced as you began to stroke his hair, kissing his neck gently, your body responding to the intensity of the situation. You didn't want to lose focus but it was impossible to stay focussed anyway with how cute his whimpers were in your ear. You began to guide him, whispering words of encouragement in his ear.
"Good boy," you whisper. "Just cum in me like a good boy. You did so good trying to dom me, baby."
His movements became less controlled, more primal. He brought his hand down to rub your clit, inching you closer to your orgasm. You dug your nails into his skin and moaned, thighs clenching around him as you exploded around his cock, his thrusts moving faster trying to fuck you through your orgasm. His breath hitched in his throat as he came afterward, warm, white strips of cum filling you up.
As he collapsed onto you, spent and satisfied, you ran your fingers through his hair and held him close, still shaking from your own orgasm.
"You tried," you chuckle. "But it was good."
"I wanted to dom you..." he mumbles. "But you liked it so, that's all that matters." he sighs deeply, pushing his face into your breasts. "I love you."
"I love you too, Mingi."

"types of smiles the f1 boys would love from their s/o"
happy show-your-loved-ones-you-love-them day!! 🤍🤎
Tumblr media
Charles Leclerc
the shy smile: he fell in love with you when he saw that smile for the first time. he always knew you were too good, too nice to this cruel world and despite all the hardships you’d faced, you somehow still retained that innocence from childhood. that shy smile, all gentle and modest — he liked to think you reserved it solely for him, made his heart flutter like a schoolboy with their first crush all over again. your lowered eyes, radiating a certain charm he could never put to words. it was like he was cleansed from all the negativity that accompanied his line of work. maybe it would be better to say he was your devoted follower, begging his goddess for just a glimpse of her smile every so often.
Carlos Sainz
the loving smile: it wasn’t like Carlos had never had a crush before, hell he’s been in a long-term relationship before. but never has he felt the pull to you so strong before, even as you are right across him, laughing at something his sister said. his mind can only focus on the way your eyes sparkle at dinner with his family, mapping the crinkles beside them. and as the gaze he is dying to have land on him does, the bright smile shifts, edges softening into fondness, the slight raise of your eyebrows asking what he needed. he reaches across the table, greedily needing to feel your warmth too, wanting this moment to last forever.
Danny Ricciardo
the smirk: he can see it taunting him even from a few feet away, in the neon pink glow of the club. you were teasing him, challenging him after a casual remark about how you had no game. the glances you send up at the second level where he hung by the railing shoots sparks of green fury in him. he should have known better; you were nothing if not confident and it was evident in the guy you had been grinding against for the past 15 minutes. he hated everything about this, his skin felt like it was on literal fire, and he had half a mind to go down to the floor to drag you away. perhaps Max had a point, maybe he needed to face the reality that he had feelings for you.
George Russell
the warm smile: miles away from your hometown, new cities every week, away from everything and everyone he'd ever known, you were his anchor. your presence grounded him when it felt like the world was spiralling away and he had absolutely no control over anything. he waited as you spoke to a member of the team, the warm smile on your face taking the tension out of the new girl. it was the same smile you brought to restaurants and parties, making the people around feel at home. it was the same smile you gave him in his moments of uncertainty. you bounded over happily, saying something about the same school, with the new girl trailing behind and as he smiled at his colleague, something in his brain told him that things may change and ebb away but your smile could never.
Lando Norris
the proud smile: his whole life, he’s been working to be the best – to stand on the topmost step of the podium and hold that trophy up, to have people acknowledge him as a great driver, the best in the world. and he’s one step closer, the first race win of his career, a step towards greater things. he could feel the elation emitting from his entire team, but the pats on his back and cheers from his team couldn’t compare with that beam on your face. even all the way up on the podium, the only thing he was focused on was your face and how it resembled a mother hen looking on her chick. he pumps the trophy higher, the sense of pride bursting in his chest and all he could think about was how he was going to be a better driver, a better man, for you.
Lewis Hamilton
the comforting smile: it was the slightest tilt of your lips, the light from his nightstand outlining the soft frame of your body. the smile in your voice was easy to detect even as he laid his head on your tummy, exhausted from a long day of endless meetings and emails. sometimes, he wonders why he works so hard. his life has already amounted to so much and he had accumulated enough life experience to know the most important thing was family and his sweetheart. and then its nights like this, when the world beyond your sanctuary is dead asleep and everything fades away, leaving only what mattered: the gentle vibration under his head and your sweet lullaby and smile telling him nothing was more important than this moment right now.
Max Verstappen
the smiling eyes: the Internet had never been a nice place to him. sneers and belittling comments deterring him from ever going on there if he had a choice. but as a 3-time World Champion, his social media obligations were more important than before. when you two started dating, he wanted to keep it private. everything bad in the world, in his opinion, had no chance of ever hurting you as long as he was around. which is also why he never brought you to races. the fewer the interactions between you, the less there was for the media to scrutinize. but it was moments like this, as the camera pans to you in the garage. your face is hidden but your eyes are bright and admiring him in his element, your name broadcasted with his beneath, told to whoever was watching, that he bookmarks the image in his mind.

 Pile #1
Your Song: Love Is Stronger Than Pride - Sade
Prime Lyric: “I can’t hate you, though I have tried.”
It's a shame this is happening here.
The cold of the marble countertop against your exposed skin sends quivers up your spine and frissons of blessed goosebumps across the curve of your rear. A warm but equally gentle and rough hand cups your derriere while twin digits grip your jawline. Timeless lips suckle at your needy neck as you draw in unsteady breaths, grasping at the walls to support the arch of your back. Thick, honeyed lust pools lower and lower with the current of your strong but fluttering heart, drawing your thighs together like aching soft magnets. Just a few minutes ago, there was gnashing of teeth and an attempted divergence witnessed by the Gods as a spectacled exchange of bitter thoughts raised like christened knives against your throats.
It was the supposed last stand. The conclusion of your story, where you're completely, utterly, officially separated.
But as you both faced off on your war-torn battlefront for the last time, you were ambushed. Your armageddon was due to rear its ugly head and place the four horsemen of pride, betrayal, uncertainty, and, sadly enough, money issues on all sides of your connection. But surprisingly, those demons watched from up high. For the Devil always has a trick up its sleeve. This isn't the first time you've launched into battle and escaped bloodied. But it is the first time the warzone has turned sanctuary- nestling you, cuts, bruises, and all to its tempting bosom.
What better way to fight than to fuck?
Now, your limbs are entangled while you paw at each other, vulnerable and mutilated by past sins in the bathroom of a mutual acquaintance. Hands you caressed and caressed a million lives over now grab you with need. A need for understanding. Atonement. Rehabilitation. A need to strip you even more bare than their painful words could leave you because it's you. It's always been you. You're the one that chips at their inescapable pride.
You do this to them- challenge them to be better and tear them down to be much worse when they've failed you.
Heady kisses trace down your neck to your collarbone, all the way down, planting seeds of love; another could never hope to see bear tempering fruit like they could, down to where the heat of all you could ever want and need rests eagerly within the cage of your thighs. "
“Open your legs.”, They look up to you and whisper; their voice tickling you with vibratory lust.
As you part, you feel teasing nips and pecks mark your sensitive skin with seductive swirling licks to echo, shifting deeper to the core of your desire until a pleasant moan escapes you.
You're not sure if you'll leave your tryst hand in hand or even on the same accord, but you at least know one thing. You both can rip profound emotions out of the other- deep from the marrow. Day or night. Spring or fall. You won't worry if that's a good or bad thing for now because as they beckon your climax to greet them at the edge of their greatest weapon against you, the past pain loses its power.
Every precise movement of their tongue is like perfect jolts of electricity through your body. Fuck they know you so fucking well.
Their soft lips and hums of pleasure in pleasuring you are where the true power lies. The sensual dance of their fingers strokes at your sweet spot, but the sudden rustle of the door knob snaps you back to reality. Shit! You shouldn't be doing this here. Before you allow sense to overshadow the moment, the heat builds as your moans grow more intense. You're grateful for the ruckus on the other side of the wall. You sense them smirk beneath you and lock eyes with an individual who is determined to pluck at the strings of your desire until they're taught, and muffled screams rain down on them in a frenzied zenith. Passerby be damned. Once they've drunk enough of you, you'll be ready to return the favor with equal vigor.
This moment is a storm. Just like your love. A great and terrible storm. Strong enough to tear through villages of memories built on the foundations of a long connection. And just like you have weathered many before as enemies and lovers, these moments provide enough energy to brace yourselves for inclement weather.
The soul beneath you loves you harder as you writhe, faster, stronger until your beautiful climax hits you like a truck.
It's such a fucking shame this is happening here.
You see red. Are you back on the battlefield?
The Devil rises slowly to lay a peck at your ear and whispers, "There's a thin line between love and hate."
Notes:
This person is may come off as moody or too passionate for others. You have been together for a while at the time of this experience.
At the time of your encounter they are struggling with money.
You are separated, but attempt to find common ground at a social event
This may be the direct doing of a friend.
I don’t subscribe to the concept of twin flames personally, but this person may truly be your twin flame.
Your relationship with them at the time may be so deep that any little act that may harm the other can blow up to extremes because the feelings run too deep. There’s so much passion!

Pile #2
Your Song: Hours - FKA Twigs
Prime Lyric “ Who’d have thought, I’d be in your mouth, loud and clear?
I once read that the best love stories are the ones that start with two people who can't stand each other.
At the time, I thought it a stretch of fictitious delusion. Understand me, Rosaline. I've had my fair share of entertainment from the comedic tropes I've watched on my various screens and read in books, but that's because the hands that pressed pen to paper or finger to keyboard behind the scenes knew how to write a good story.
There is power in prose.
We can all agree that the prodigal hate fuck always satisfies an audience. But that's not real to me.
How you eclipse the moonlight of the bedroom window to stand naked before me as the birth of Aphrodite itself is real to me. It's more vivid than any lucid dream or waking hallucination I could conjure in my insanity for you. How you languidly stalk towards the edge of the bed and make prey of me as your supple breasts softly and teasingly bounce is real to me.
I've never known anyone to be so graceful as they lower themselves to their knees.
The throbbing ache of anticipation you draw out of me as your hands open the gate of my thighs, and your beautiful face rests at the threshold of me is real to me. That first gasp-inducing sweet lick followed by the sacred scent of your hair penetrating my nostrils is intoxicating. And, the taste of me on your lips as you pause to greet me before you take me to church is so enchantingly real.
Why? Because the most striking and tangible things of this world aren't isolated to what we can experience with the five senses. It's the things that shake us, move us, change us, and stir something profound within us that is true. We don't even have to understand the why at first.
And oh, how you stir the most primal and obsessive urges within me.
I raise a quivering hand to caress your crown as you lick, nip, and tease my most erogenous areas, but you smack my hand away in a warning. Your eyes pierce mine, and you remind me that you are untouchable.
You remain as unattainable as the day I met you.
In the beginning, that side of you was cruel. You were so severe. So chaste. A person who seemed to constantly move the goalpost as I chased and chased. Our story was an epic on the destructive nature of gravity. I wanted to be your orange moon as your sunlight cast down upon me, but your pull always threatened to consume and scorch me if I dared to neighbor you. Your glares were like ice, and your mouth spat fire at anything that had something to do with me. It must have been something that I said. But I was no child, and neither were you. We cut the bullshit and found the necessary 60 seconds to get clarity.
Now, we're very clear on one another. Our vision is 20/20, and God, if you aren't magnificent. The noises you make as your tongue continues its assault on me are provocative, eliciting moans from the bottom of my throat while my eyes roll back and my hips writhe beneath you. Vibrations emanate from your lips as you moan in response to how you undo me, slurping and licking at me deeper and faster to build on your high. Your hands grip me tighter, locking onto the soft of my thighs, not because you need to hold me down but because you want to anchor yourself. The sensual masochist in you knows how badly you want to slowly snake your hand down to feel the wet heat of your trembling cunt- but she won't let you.
It's the idea that someone like me would beg for the opportunity to just lay beneath and watch you as you gave yourself the depraved release you will forever deserve that drives your lust. In these moments, I'm the one lucky fool under your spell who gets to have a taste of you, but only under your rules.
That is why tonight is extra special because I agreed to let you do everything that you wanted to do to and or on me, and to be honest, your fantasies are not as wild as you think.
As my climax overtakes me, I gaze back down at you and admire your work.
You may see me as a fool, but I am a victor.
The same person that insulted me, frowned at me and rejected me is the same person that now in a delicious turn of events
has my cock down their throat.
Notes:
This person is someone that may have chased you or made you chase them
You both misunderstood each other and miscommunicated frequently, for some to the point that you couldn’t stand each other.
Rosaline is the original apple of Romeo’s eye. She made a vow that prevented her from marrying so she is seen as unattainable and the cause of Romeo’s strife before he lays eyes on Juliet.
For some this night of pleasure is after you have a moment of realization and see that you both actually vibe really well.
You may choose to secretly scurry off to get to know each other better, or end up having this night of passion after you deepen your commitment or get married.
You or this person could be in a situation where one has already promised themselves to someone else, but you both have a last minute moment of truth and choose to secretly give in to your desires without getting caught.
This is a slightly kinky pile
On this night you may be exploring water sports. I see a woman squirting over their partner or their partner asking to watch them squirt or pee into a glass
I see nipple play
Similar to pile one, there is an edge of not being seen or organizing a secret rendezvous.
I feel like it’s the more feminine person with the Rosaline energy, they may come off as bitchy or have severe resting bitch face, but the surprise is that they are the more kinky person.
They love your breasts, but get lustful when they see your opening.

Your Song: Seventh - BOSCO
Prime Lyric: “Giving you permission as I'm breathing, Finger on the trigger, now we reset, Here to hide, Will we die? No.”
It's such a beautiful day. Your limbs are tangled in mine as we rest peacefully under the shade of a lone tree before the chapel courtyard. Your beautiful head against my chest gently anchors me to the grass as you listen to the rhythm of my heartbeat. I gaze into the blue sky, contemplating the recipe of cool teals, turquoise, and sapphires God chose to bundle the earth. Sometimes, I wonder why God still allows us to roam this beautiful garden of Eden we call our planet. Maybe it knows that after falling so painfully hard, there really is nowhere to go but up. Or, at least in my case, look up.
It's so quiet that you can hear the trickle of a nearby stream. As I look around, everything seems so vivid. Each blade of grass and round tree leaf is a more lively green and rustles so clearly against the gentle currents of air caressing our cheeks- that my spirit can't help but reach toward the surface of an all-encompassing consciousness. The sky, the leaves, the air, and the stream are alive- as alive as I am right here with you. I can see it now. Is this what it's like to be high?
How could I not be after what we just did? Even though the ceremony was intimate, I was nervous that one of our friends or family found it and somehow turned up at the last moment.
You shift your hand to draw feathered circles on my chest and snap me out of my musings. You look up at me with a mischievously giddy smile and trace me lower and lower until you reach the hem of my pants, pulling teasingly at the elasticity. I arch my brow in surprise, looking for signs of the clergy. It would be a disaster if one were to stumble across us on their holy walk to find you performing the most unholy of acts. My eyes scan the clearing. I gather myself on my forearms and take a peek back. You're also looking around, but those naughty eyes flash with an undercurrent of different intentions. I would have missed it if I hadn't known you so well.
You want to get caught.
My quick scan tells me that we're alone. But you're already gripping me, slender fingers wrapped tightly around velvet steel, ready to receive your touch. You stroke me firmly and languidly as the clouds pass by overhead, and my eager tip moistens with salty essence. I won't let you pull too many moans out of me. We don't know who may be listening despite another quick look around. It feels like I'm floating in a blessed eternity as you touch me until the chapel bell rings unexpectedly. We rush to compose ourselves- one more than the other. You giggle as I try to thrust myself back under my pants and hide my shame before we embarrassingly cross paths with someone on our walk back to the car. I don't return the sentiment.
It was a bad idea anyway. If the Universe is alive and God is real, that must have been a warning. A sort of "Congratulations, but do it in private."
I know when to listen to divine intervention. I won't allow us to suffer judgment because of your lack of self-control. So I will become a mascareri and punish you myself.
I want you to think you crossed a line during the car ride back. That our perfect day may not be so perfect after all. You got too impulsive- too excited. So you start entertaining regrets. It's a little cruel, but you'll forgive me later.
A few hours post your voyeuristic episode, we're diving into champagne and wine bottles. You begged me to pop one open in the spirit of celebration, but we both knew you wanted to flood the nerves in your body with libations. But your consumption of liquor is a double-edged sword.
Three, four, five glasses down and you're swimming. Your cheeks are a luscious plump shade of rose, your skin is warm to the touch, and your feet are too light or maybe too heavy because you stumble across the floor and fall into my arms. I open a window to let the night cool you down. I'm still nursing my first glass, so I trust myself to securely hoist my bride into my arms and lay her tenderly onto the mattress. Your arms lock behind my neck, and I meet the longing in your big, beautiful eyes. You search me for emotion. Anything that would reveal the current truth of my inner world, but I keep my mask on.
You wanted to give the Universe a show today. So let's give it one.
I'll tear the clothing off your body so roughly that cool night air will douse your heated skin with prickles of goosebumps. You won't have time to gasp at my movements because I'll already capture your beautiful mouth with my own- my strong body pressing yours into the mattress of our lover's nest. You will squirm in need, but that won't be enough for me. I need you to whimper, to whine, and mold your begging hips so close to mine as I caress slowly, achingly, down toward heaven. I'll cup my hand at the pearly gate and watch your troubled face as you wait what feels like a millennia until you crack from desperation to feel more of me.
But there is a warning in my eyes you have never seen before. Something that tells you that this is different. It grips you into submission, a sense of fear and excitement battling within. You've never experienced me treat you like anything other than an angel. Until now, I would never have allowed you to fall. But now I truly have you.
 ALL OF YOU.
Tonight, you will discover that when angels fall, the devil is there to catch them.
After our week of heavenly sin in our temporary Garden of Eden, we can deal with the backlash that awaits us.
Notes:
-This is the person you will marry or at least form a deep commitment with.
-At the time of the sexual encounter, you are trying to eagerly move the commitment forward formally, but you're seeking help to try and make it happen.
-Like looking for an officiant or going through pre-marriage counseling.
-However, you are feeling a little confused and lost or at least frustrated at the situation because things are proving to require more work.
-This may be because other parties are trying to but in with their opinion.
-You feel like you are meant to be with this person. Or you could have already done the deed, and need to break it to your friends and family.

(going crazy about Choso watching you in the shower don't mind me.....)
It was the smell of your soap that Choso noticed first. Wafting into the hotel room with that undeniable moisture- the bathroom door must be open.
Open? You'd never made that mistake before. He glanced at the mirror across the bathroom door and saw the cracked door and light filtering through. It was open. The bathroom door was in fact open, and the only thing separating him from your naked form was a thin shower curtain.
Before he knew it, he was standing by that door, peering in. Your silhouette moved and his eyes widened, watching you cleanse yourself of the mess of battle. Could you get your back on your own? His mouth was agape as he imagined himself joining you, washing you, dragging his soapy hands all over your incredible body.
He was rock hard. Overwhelmed by the sweet scent of your shampoo. As you picked up your conditioner, he caught a glimpse of your skin through the gap in the curtain and nearly groaned. He needed you. God, how intensely he needed you...
Like the soothing sounds of a siren, you hummed a tune as you lathered your hair with conditioner. He was enraptured. Nothing could tear him away from this. From you. He softly palmed the tent in his pants, wondering if you left that door open on purpose. Wondering if you wanted him just as badly as he wanted you...
Wondering if you'd welcome him if he decided to join you.
@nyxronomicon 🖤
{oh, nyx. this is altering my brain. you need to take full accountability for what you are doing to me right now, but I also refuse to walk away without leaving a few more crumbs myself. your ask has me clenching my thighs and biting my lip. I am simply losing it over this man!!! now let's think of this scenario, where the temptation is far too much...}
➳  minors / ageless / blank blogs dni   ➳  tags: cw breeding; lchoso in heat; arousal
there's a soft knock on the door that sends a tremor of excitement and apprehension up along your spine. you curl your frame under the shower head, allowing the warmth to veil over your soft, vulnerable body.
"yes?" you call out, your firm tone dwindling through the barrier of raining water droplets.
"did you mean to leave the door open?" choso bluntly asks, making your lungs collapse from the tension in his deep voice.
what are you supposed to say? you think in a moment of panic, that you did mean to leave it open because you wanted to test him?
a lump forms in your throat. you were coaxing someone who barely had the capacity to understand the deep intensity of his human emotions just to play a game of a rabbit toying with a wolf.
instead, you simply swallow your guilt and innocently reply, "yeah, I wanted to let out some of the steam..."
the silence lingers for only a few seconds but the heaviness resides in the short distance of space separating you both.
you hear him clear his throat from behind the door.
"would it be alright if I used the sink to wash up then?"
your heart rumbles, shuddering with enticing uncertainty.
"yes, you can come in."
from behind the curtain you hear his footsteps, a slow approach to the bathroom sink. you're suddenly hyper aware of your naked state, of every drop trickling down your delicate curves, of your nipples pebbling hard from the slight draft that followed choso, and of the throbbing pulse between your legs.
you exhale quietly as he turns on the faucet, wondering what to do next. from between the curtain you study him, his hair down and haloing around his handsome face. his cheeks are slightly red, and he cups the water in his hand as he splashes it across his face.
your hand mindlessly turns off the faucet to your shower.
you avert your gaze just as choso turns to meet yours through the small sliver of space.
"do you mind passing me a towel?"
there's another pause before the sound of choso rummaging through the drawers interrupts the quiet. he approaches you, the shadow of his strong, broad frame prominent from behind the curtain. you don't know why the thrill of it makes you ache, or why you insist on tempting him further when you know that the it truly isn't a fair game.
you curl your fingers around the curtain and peek your head through, your thighs clenching at the expression on choso's face.
there's an unrecognizable hunger in that gaze, a hardness resting along his sharp jaw that's contrasted by the blush in his cheeks. the front of his brows are pinched slightly together, and you can see the veins in his hands pop as he grips the terry cloth fabric between his fingers.
you reach for the towel, noticing his eyes falling to your glistening bare skin, and focusing on the slope of where your shoulder and neck meet.
"thank you, cho." you gratefully reply, as you pluck the towel from between his hands.
when you dip back behind the curtain you swear you hear him sigh with exasperation. you wrap the towel carefully around your body, the length barely covering you up in any decent manner.
choso is still in the bathroom when you step out of the shower, his head now under the sink faucet as he allows the water to run through his raven hair. he slicks back the strands with his fingers, and exhales once again.
"you're free to use the shower now," you calmly state.
he leans back, his hands gripping the counter behind him, but his eyes are fixated on you.
"great," he murmurs through gritted teeth, focusing to keep his attention on your face and nowhere else. "I'll jump right in"
you nod your head, tucking your bottom lip between your teeth as you try to scurry away but you suddenly freeze when choso sidesteps in front of you and blocks your path.
you're so much closer now. close enough to take in the hard muscles of his torso. close enough to burn with shame from toying with him in this way.
you seize up in panic when draws his hand to your neck, sealing the gap of space as he stands in front of you chest to chest. the tender caress ignites everything within you, and you sink your teeth deeper into your bottom lip as a shivering vibration runs up along your neck. choso has his hand to your throat, his thumb stroking up the column to the space right underneath your ear.
your eyes fall to his pecs, the rise and fall pulling you away from the stillness of the moment.
choso drops his hand to your line of sight, showing off his thumb covered in bubbling suds.
"you missed a spot"
he wipes it off against his pants, as your hand absentmindedly reaches for the place where he touched you. the pads of your fingers lightly dragging over the exposed skin.
you glance up at choso from underneath your eyelashes, "oh, I did..." is all you can say.
your arousal sticks to your inner thighs, making you adjust your stance, but that is when choso directly drops his gaze to your crotch without any hesitation, his expression a battle of desire and concentration.
his breathing slows, and your eyes widen as the heat rushes straight to your cheeks.
why does it feel like he can see right through the material?
like he knows that you’re wet right now.
“I should leave you to it then,” you foggily announce, taking a tiny step back.
“hmm,” choso purrs, his dark eyes gaping at your concealed cunt.
you casually dart around him, stepping out of the bathroom and shutting the door behind you.
every nerve in your body quivering with anticipation.

First off I LOVE your writing! It’s amazing and I love reading them for hours!! 🫶🏻 Can we get some more hero x villain duos? Maybe they both get kidnapped and the villain is overprotective to their hero?
"You need to stop provoking them to protect me."
The villain raised a delicate eyebrow, even as they wiped the blood from their mouth. "Is that what I'm doing?"
The hero shot them an agitated look. "Yes."
None of the hallmark uncertainty on that front, then. The hero did tend to be so devastatingly fragile, an unending well of anxiety and conflicts, right up until the disarming moments when they were absolutely not. The villain had to smile, causing their cracked lip to well more blood.
"So cut it out," the hero added. "I'm pretty sure I'm the one who's supposed to be doing dumb heroics."
"Oh, please." The villain slumped as close to the hero's cell as they could. "You couldn't stand being covered in drying blood. You're so fastidious. It's a lot sexier on me."
The hero scowled at them, even as they edged to be as close as they could possibly be too. "Please."
"Aw. If this is all it took to get you to beg, I would have done it ages ago."
"They might really hurt you!"
"Mm. But, you see, if they really hurt you, I'd have to cave and give them everything they want immediately because I lack moral principles. And then where would both we and the world at large be!"
The hero opened their mouth. They closed it.
The villain shot them a chiding glance, tender as a bruise. Please.
The hero swallowed, closing their eyes briefly. "I don't like seeing you hurt."
"But you're strong enough to bear it, love."
"And you're not?" It came out barely above a whisper.
"I'm strong enough to get punched in the face." The villain shrugged, closing their eyes. "Also, I get to say all the fun insults. Really, I have the easy job here."
"Your ribs are broken. I'm pretty sure your ribs are broken."
"They just lost their temper. They don't actually want me dead."
"They don't want me dead either!" The hero grimaced. "At least not yet."
"And we're back to me looking sexier than you covered in blood."
"I'd prefer it wasn't your own."
"Noted."
"That wasn't a-" The hero huffed. Their shoulders sagged. They strained to reach a little closer, but they both knew there wasn't enough given in the chains for them to actually reach each other. Still. "I think I'd kill them. For you. For what they're doing to you."
The hero said it quietly, almost absent-mindedly, like it didn't matter.
The villain glanced over sharply.
There was that certainty again. Absolute. Terrifying. Magnificent.
That wasn't really an 'I think'. That was a 'I will'.
The hero shrugged, twisting their perfectly clean fingers in their lap; a useless effort to busy themselves when all they wanted was to touch, to cup the villain's face in their palms, to clean away the blood and the pain and the marks of someone else's unkind hands.
To an outsider, to a stranger, they would look so lost, so helpless.
"It is a little sexy," the hero said, with the same idle air of musing, after some time of silence. "You're kind of annoying like that."
And the villain - despite everything, because of everything - barked into a delighted laugh.
God help everyone the second they were free.

Look at Me
(nsfw)
König was a quiet yet authoritative Colonel at the base. His eyes always seemed to look as if he was searching for something, wanting something. How long would it go on for before he caved?
fem!reader, colonel!könig, smut, MDNI, 18+, unprotected!sex, pnv,
A/n: this one has got to be my favourites, enjoyed writing it. This was one I had before i even started using tumblr.
let me know who you want next!!!!
Tumblr media
König. The man you laid your eyes on when you first came to KorTac. Unsure if he’d ever look your way since you were just only a private, he a Colonel. You were a knife specialist, ranging in hand to hand combat, it being your strong point. In meetings you would catch his eyes darting to you every few seconds, obviously searching for something.
Months had passed and you didn’t really think much of König. Sure, he was somewhat alluring but he didn't even talk to you, and everytime you did he seemed to not respond back. He seemed nervous or something. But it was for sure, he enjoyed eye contact with you.
This game of cat and mouse played constantly with your irises fighting for dominance. Through his sniper hood, you could never tell what he was thinking or saying, his eyes displayed a poker face like expression. His voice seemed commanding in the field, but outside of it, he was very impassive.
Whenever he did talk, it was never directed at you. You must admit, that man’s voice alone was enough to make you want something from him. Your fingers would fulfill your thoughts when you were alone in your barracks room. You hoped he never would find out.
While you were cleaning your knives from a previous mission that went sort of bad, you heard a knock on the side of the doorframe behind you.
“Verzeihung..?” The 208cm Austrian man asked you as you swiveled your head to meet his gaze. His eyes staring right down at you while he shifted his weight onto one hip. “Yes..?” You said quietly looking up to meet his icy stare. He looked… disheveled? Like he wanted to ask you something but was being held back by his own conscience. You raise an eyebrow to his stance and his sudden appearance. He was always busy… why was König standing before you at your desk?
“Can.. I borrow you for a moment, bitte?”His velvety voice corarsed you, with a type of uncertainty in his tone. He also seemed rushed. He motioned you up from the bench, hoping you’d oblige. You reluctantly nodded and got up from your seat. You thought it was to discuss your actions in your previous mission. But worst of all, you thought it was because he was going to ask you about what you thought of him.
His breath would hitch in his throat as he would see you standing below him with a smaller frame than his own. Leaving the area, König walked down the corridor quickly, with you tailing behind him. Concentration filling his aura. As you both stride to his destination of his choice, your eyes landed on a door. His quarters. A thousand questions filled your head as to why he asked you to come to his quarters in the middle of your work. Opening the door and leading you inside, he closed it, locking it behind himself. Your eyes would wander around his neat room, everything was clean and well organized.
“Sitzen.” He spoke to you, motioning towards the edge of the bed. His sniper hood never dismissed from his face as he stared at you. You sit, he watches. You move, he took note. He was watching you as some type of prey. This raised even more questions as he began walking closer to you and looked down upon your body as you sat near the edge.
“I brought you here because it is more quiet.” König would begin as he watched your eyes for any expression. He was beating around the bush, especially since he was fidgeting with his gloves, slipping them off after a few minutes of contemplating. “Mein Schatz, I've noticed your eyes on me.”
Shit. You were so sure he didn't see you at all. You seemed practically invisible, at least at work and rank wise. Yeah, the two of you would make eye contact but you assumed he didn’t think much of it. You only gave a nervous laugh, almost challenging that comment as he spoke it. You looked around the room, hoping to find some excuse, but before you could König would step even closer. “I don’t mind it really. Especially when I first saw you.”
You were stunned. No, shocked that the Colonel would be talking to you like this. You couldn’t help but feel flustered. He still seemed desperate. Antsy even. He began taking off his tactical gear, tossing it aside, whilst keeping the hood over his face.
“Have you been thinking of me?’ He asked the question you feared. It wasn’t really a question, well, since he already knew the answer to this. He’d catch your attention when he’d give meetings or when he was in the break room drinking some water. And what about those dreams?
“Yes…” You admitted quietly, a little bit embarrassed at yourself. This pressure began knotting in your lower stomach.
“So ein ungezogenes Mädchen.” König replied back with an airy smirk you could tell that was under his hidden face. You didn’t quite understand what he was saying, however goosebumps began to cover your skin. Your eyes seemed to drift away from his body, trying to think. He moved closer, towering over you, placing a hand under your chin to force direction back to his eyes. That only made the pressure in your lower stomach begin turning to a throbbing one.
“That’s okay,” He said as he continued looking down at you. He took note of your small squirming to readjust your sitting position. “Liebling. I must admit… I've been thinking about you too.” König continued his wording. In truth, you could feel yourself getting wet by the way he talked about you. The way he admitted he thought about you. So he did know and now he was just watching you.
He moved closer, bending down to your eye level, which instinctively made you jerk your head backwards. He moved even closer. You moved back. He came closer. This would go on until he had you backed up against the headboard of his bed, crawling over your squirming body. Caught in a stare down between each other.
“I need you, liebling.” He said with a slight quivery tone, moving his face closer to yours. Your eyes flutter at the very thought. You’ve been only dreaming about this moment. Now he admitted he wanted you.
“Then you’ll have me.” You purred confidently as you stared back at him. There was going to be no hiding it now, especially with your slick folds giving away your thoughts.
You could hear a scoff given under the hood as he placed his thumb on your lower lip, looking at the plushness of it. He had you in his grips and he was not letting you go. At least not right now. König would take his time taking off the top of your uniform. He wanted to be gentle. He knew if he could, he’d tear you apart in an instant. Brushing your uniform top off, König’s eyes landed on your chest. It almost seemed like he was growing needy, especially as he rushed to slip your bra off.
Grabbing one of your breasts, he placed his other hand under you on the small of your back, lifting you slightly towards him. He moved his hood slightly up and placed his lips around your supple nipple. That earned him a small gasp from you.
His tongue swirls around it, making it more sensitive with each movement. He occasionally nibbles lightly on it, sending jolting sensations down your body. While he was tending to your breast, he made sure to keep eye contact with you. How he loved your eyes when you enjoyed yourself, the reactions from them.
Soon after, he moved to your other breast, giving it the same attention as you gave small whimpers to the gesture. He removed his hand from your lower back and grabbed it on your waist. Giving it a gentle squeeze before letting it travel down between your uniform pants.
Two fingers rubbing against the fabric of your pants. He was teasing you and you knew it. His warm wet lips soon left your hard and sensitive nipple. On top of you, you turn your head away to avert your gaze from him, only for him to move his face closer to yours and speak to you in a whisper.
“Look at me… I want to see your pretty eyes.” He pleaded quietly, turning your sight to his direction once more. He wanted you to watch him. He wanted you to watch him see how much of a mess he could make you with just a few words and a few simple touches.
His calloused hands made their way to your pant button where he unfastened them. Along with your top, he threw it down to the floor as well, disregarding them. König would look down and his eyes widened to the coated wet spot between your panties.
“So wet for me already, liebling?” He would ask quietly while rubbing your clit through your panties in small tight circles. He’d continue the soft motion while your body trembled at the gentle touch. His fingers tore away from your pussy, slithering them under the side of your panties. Sliding them down your ankles, he kept one hand on your hip for grip support.
“I need to stretch you out. Or else I'll break you in half.” His accent rolled off his tongue. He looked down at your folds, pushing one finger into your greedy hole. A wince ran through your body as he curled it. He was teasing you again. König put his gaze back to your irises that were pleading for more. His voice was inviting when you clenched around his fingers.
He began pumping your pussy, his finger coated with your juices, becoming more slick by the second. Small whines would escape your lips as you kept looking at the scene. The pressure building once more as your clit began to throb.
Without warning, he pushed another finger into you, making sure to spread you open. If this is what only two of his fingers did to you, imagine what his cock would do to you. As he continued to move at a slow and steady pace, that needy aura gathered around him again. His other hand moved down to your pussy as well.
Slathering his thumb with saliva from under his worn out hood, he placed it on your clit. The rest of his hand applies pressure on your lower stomach. König’s thumb began rubbing in small circles as his fingers desperately tried to find your sweet spot. The only thing to fill the room were whines and moans as you began squirming around him, not able to keep still.
You instinctively try to shut your thighs back together. “It’s okay, liebling. Open up for me.” König‘s angelic voice would command you. With that demand, you give into his authoritative voice.
Your cunt was throbbing and it felt so good to be stretched out by your own Colonel. His fingers now sliding in and out with ease, due to your own pussy betraying you. He curled his fingers. He found it. The spot that made your body writhe under him. Your desperate moans got his pace to move forcibly, even on your clit.
For a man who was afraid to talk to people, he sure knew how to ravish you. It was almost unfair with the amount of teasing and toying he did with you. Then it was nothing. He slipped his fingers out your vibrating pussy then placed them in his mouth under the hood. Sucking your juices off his textured fingers. You were left with a shallow breath. Well, that was until he unbuttoned his pants and slipped his cock out.
It twitched, his eyes never wavering from your glistening and watering eyes. He was painfully hard, and even though you couldn’t see his full face, you knew he wanted it badly. Wanted you badly.
“Bitte.” He begged, he pleaded, he wanted as he inched closer to your cunt that was still longing to be filled once more. Your pussy would clench at nothing, but the size difference made you turn your gaze away from him. The anticipation of it slipping inside was enough to make your body squirm.
“Look at me, liebling. I won’t do anything until I see your pretty eyes.” He purred looking down at you as the tip of his cock rubbed against your heated slit. You slowly turned your gaze to him with a hot face, your lips pursing into a fine line.
He toyed around your pussy with the tip, just trying to make sure you were wet enough for him. The same desperate eyes meeting with your own. A sudden pain filled your lower stomach as he began pushing his hips closer to you. His cock entering your slick cunt. He was just head deep and it felt like he was going to tear you apart. You look down at the damage but his hand moves to your chin to look at him once more, then back to your hip. Squeezing it. Preparing you.
“Jesu–” Before you could finish your one worded comment, his cock already smothered against your cervix, bending it into his personal mold. A grunt escaped his mouth as he filled your pussy up. He loved the idea that you were smaller than him. König loved getting this reaction of pushing his cock into your needy cunt and stretching it out.
You were a mess, especially as he began pulling in and out, admiring your face as he did so.
He slightly whimpered himself when he looked down and saw the large bulge from your lower stomach from him pumping in and out. He was trying to be gentle. Trying to go at a pace that wouldn’t break you. He was holding back. He didn’t know how much longer he could do that. His eyes looked back up at you for permission. You give him a nod.
Rocking his hips faster now, your cervix was already beginning to become bruised. He was so deep in you now, you thought your uterus was going to break open. His body slapping against yours, your moans and whines, his grunts and groans were the only thing filling the room. His grip on your hip is even harder, making a red mark from his handprint.
“You’re taking me so well.” König would say between thrusts. He would put his weight on you, his face close to your ear as he moved even faster. He tried. He tried to hold back but you felt too good. Your tight cunt wrapping around his cock like a fucking glove. There were no words coming out of his mouth and definitely none coming from yours as his tip decimated your violated body.
His other hand found itself on the other side of your hip, gripping it hard as well. Leaving yet another hand print. König would move his ear closer to your mouth to hear how good he was fucking you, how good he was filling up your cunt with his cock.
“Fuck.. So warm.” König muttered under his breath while feeling your warmth engulfing him inside you. He began at slow paces, making sure to get you adjusted to his shaft. It twitched and jolted within your walls. In and out, in and out, his body now slamming against yours as he hugged onto your body. You arched your back in response, squirming and writhing under his thrusts.
He stopped and lifted himself off you to look down at the mess he created of you. There were tears prickling the corners of your eyes. His hips would pound into you vigorously, bruising into your cervix. He would grunt into your ear, wanting you to hear how good you made him feel. König’s grip on your soft waist would begin to become painful, perhaps even leaving a bruise around the area.
“Bitte. Bitte, liebling. Let me please you. Let me fill you. Bitte.. I need it.” He pleaded with an airy and shallow breath as he was still deep in you. You couldn’t give a response right away as you were still trying to find words. Instead, you wrapped your legs around his pelvis and your walls tightened around him, giving his cock permission to spill into you.
A groan would expel out of his mouth, a few whines when he began to feel himself getting closer.
Another round of plundering movements would meet your cervix, he began to move with even more force. His breath was ragged and heavy, his chest falling fast. The bed shook under you, your vision was beginning to become hazed by the pleasure you felt. You couldn’t help it, you moaned his name out with neediness it was almost embarrassing. You cunt clenching around his cock, hoping to squeeze him off every last drop.
"So close." He moaned out next to your ear, his hot breath trickling with a bit of desperation when he felt himself become closer to his climax. The feeling of being swallowed by your warmth was throwing him into a feral overdrive.
“Oh.. Just like that. Please.” he would whine whilst his eyes kept themselves trained on yours. You couldn't help but feel as if he was trying to spear you open, but you could admit that the feeling was immaculate. The feeling of your legs tightening around his waist only made his thrusts more forcible and his voice more prominent.
This guy was really plundering you down to the depths of hell. "Inside?" He asked whispering, his brows furrowing slightly. "Inside." You would confirm, your arms wrapping around his neck.
A few hard thrusts gave before you felt his hot seed spill into your insides. He let himself ride his own orgasm out, giving a few movements before stopping while still inside you. König would fuck up into your pussy and into your cervix, making sure that you’re fed with every ounce of his cum. His breathing was shallow yet heavy as were yours. Panting, he placed a hand on your cheek, looking at you in a fond way.
“I might be seeing you more often, liebling.”

mind over matter.
pairings : singer!scaramouche x reader summary : in which scaramouche had to choose his career over you. part 2 here!
Tumblr media
the lights dimmed as the bass and drums starts playing, scaramouche stands in the center while holding his mic, eyes casting downwards as he prepare himself to sing the lyrics.
Mind over matter Does it matter to any of us?
scaramouche could feel all eyes on him as he sang the first part, his hand shakes a little from stage fright that suddenly surface.
Don't change the subject I'm heavy on your love I missed that train New York City, it rains
he remember how hard it was to leave, how hard it was for him to choose his career over you. Fly to East L.A. in big jet planes You know you're on my mind?
he wonders, what do you think of him after he left you?
And if the world don't break I'll be shaking it
he wonders, do you know that you're not the only one suffering from this outcome? 'Cause I'm a young man after all And when the seasons change Will you stand by me? 'Cause I'm a young man built to fall
the audience lifts their phone, lighting their flash as they sing along with him. looking up to see his fans he holds the urge to tear up as the memory of you clouds his mind.
Mind over matter I'm in tatters thinking 'bout her
will you take him back after he left you that day? Taste my disaster It's heavy on my tongue
will you believe him if he told you that he still love you after all these years apart? All the lights aglow Tokyo snows
will you believe him if he told you that you're constantly occupying his mind till this day? Go to watch the show Curtain's closed I'm watching you this time
well believe it or not, he still follow your socials because it's the only way he's able to have a connection with you, in a way.
And if the world don't break I'll be shaking it
his eyes scans the crowd and he notice a familiar face. 'Cause I'm a young man after all
he feels his breathing stop as he locked eyes with you. And when the seasons change Will you stand by me? 'Cause I'm a young man built to fall
truth is, you've always supported him anonymously. Always adoring the way he thrive for that dream of his.
New York City, it rains Fly to East L.A. In big jet planes You know you're on my mind?
scaramouche really want to alter his gaze elsewhere but he finds himself unable to do so. As it felt like the missing part in his heart is filled when he sees you -- among the huge crowd, raising your flash at him. All the lights aglow Tokyo snows
he feels warm, he felt peace, the stage fright disappear as he tighten his grip on the mic.
Go to watch the show Curtain's closed I'm watching you this time
he could see your eyes widened when he notices you and that made his anxiety rise.
are you going to leave the concert, just like how he left you that night?
And if the world don't break I'll be shaking it 'Cause I'm a young man after all
he raise his arm towards you as he sang the lyrics. He could see the uncertainty on your face and that made him wonder why you came here in the first place.
And when the seasons change Will you stand by me (Fly to East L.A.)
he knew he have to let you go, and so do you. yet can you really? when your bond with him is that strong, can he really? when most of the song he wrote was about you.
And when the seasons change Will you stand by me? 'Cause I'm a young man built to fall
scaramouche lower his head as the band did an outro. and he could hear the crowd clapping and cheering for his amazing performance.
scaramouche finally understand that you were never meant to be his, he's not the right man for you.
he understood how you must felt during your relationship with him, all the effort he didn't bat an eye to because he was too busy chasing his dream.
you gave him all your love yet all he gave you was his goodbye.
scaramouche wished he realizes what he had when you were still his. yet he have made his decision and he's successful now,
no regrets right?
a/n : reblogs are greatly appreciated! and please feel free to comment what you think about this fic ^^

Tumblr media
As you go through the motions of packing your bags, your thoughts are in a tumultuous storm. You can hardly believe the result of the pregnancy test you took this morning, a tiny stick that holds the power to change your life forever. The two pink lines staring back at you confirmed your worst fears and ignited a whirlwind of emotions within you. Fear, excitement, and uncertainty all battle for dominance in your heart, and you can't shake the feeling that everything is about to change. You'd hoped it was a false positive. But here you are. You're pregnant. The news hits you like a ton of bricks, and you're not sure what to do next. You consider waiting to tell Joel until after your trip is over, but you know that's not fair to him. He has a right to know, and you want to be honest with him.
You picture Joel's face when you tell him the news, the shock and disbelief that will surely follow. You wonder how he'll react, whether he'll be happy or scared, angry or confused. You imagine him wanting to take control of the situation, to take care of you and the baby, and the thought warms your heart. But you also fear his rejection, the possibility that he might not want to be a father, or worse, that he might not want to be with you after this. You take a deep breath, trying to calm your racing thoughts. You need to talk to Joel, to tell him what's going on and see what he thinks. Maybe this is a good thing, a sign that your relationship is meant to be.
As you take one last, lingering look around the room, you can't help but feel a pang of nostalgia. The memories you've made here with Joel have been nothing short of extraordinary - filled with love, laughter, and a sense of adventure that has left you both breathless and exhilarated. You take a mental snapshot of the room as it is now - the rumpled sheets on the bed, the scattered books and papers on the floor, the faint scent of coffee and citrus that seems to linger in the air.
As you make your way out to the balcony, you take a deep breath, savoring the salty tang of the ocean air and the gentle rustle of the palm fronds overhead. Joel is sitting there, his gaze fixed on the horizon, and for a moment, you simply watch him, taking in the strong line of his jaw and the way the sunlight glints off his hair. You hesitate for just a moment before approaching him, feeling nervous. You take a deep breath, steeling yourself for the conversation ahead.
"Hey," you say softly, taking a seat next to him.
He looks up, a smile on his face. "Hey, princess," he says, taking your hand in his.
You take a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves. "Joel, there's something I need to tell you."
His smile fades, and he looks at you with concern. "What is it, darlin? What's wrong, are you okay?"
"I'm pregnant," you whisper.
His eyes widen, and he looks at you in shock. "What?"
You nod, feeling tears prick at the corners of your eyes. "I took a test last night, and this morning, both were positive.” As the words leave your lips, Joel's expression changes from one of joy to one of shock and disbelief. His face pales, and he stands up abruptly, as if he's been physically struck. You watch in confusion as he stumbles towards the door, mumbling something about needing some air. Before you can say or do anything, he's gone, leaving you sitting alone on the balcony.
The breeze rustles the palm leaves above you, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore below fills the air. You take a deep breath, trying to steady yourself, but the enormity of what you've just revealed weighs heavily on your shoulders. You curl your legs up onto the chair, wrapping your arms around your knees, as you try to make sense of what just happened. You can't blame Joel for his reaction. You understand that he needs time to process the news, but it still stings to have him walk away without saying a word.
Joel paces back and forth on the beach, running his hands through his hair as he tries to process the news you just gave him. He mutters to himself, "Pregnant? How? I mean, I know how, but...what?" He stops and looks out at the sea, taking deep breaths as he tries to calm down. But his thoughts are racing, and he can't seem to focus on anything but the word pregnant repeating in his mind.
He starts pacing again, kicking at the sand as he goes. He's never been in this situation before, and he's not sure what to do. He doesn't want to be a father, not right now. He's already done that. But he knows that's not an option. You're carrying his child, and he can't just abandon you. He stops and looks at the sea again, feeling overwhelmed. He's not sure how he can be a good father, not after what happened to Sarah. He couldn't handle that again. He takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, trying to steady his nerves. He knows he needs to talk to you to tell you what he's feeling, but he's not sure how.
You wait for what seems like an eternity, but Joel doesn't come back. You start to worry, wondering if he's okay. You decide to go look for him, and when you do, you find him outside, sitting on a bench with his head in his hands. He looks up as you approach, and you can see the fear and uncertainty in his eyes.
"I'm sorry, darlin," he says, his voice shaking. "I didn't mean to leave like that. I just needed some time to think."
You nod, understanding his reaction. You sit down next to him, and he takes your hand in his, his thumb tracing circles on your skin. Joel takes a deep breath and looks at you, his eyes filled with fear and uncertainty. "I'm scared, darlin'. I'm scared of what this means for us, for our future. I'm scared of failin’ you and the baby."
"I'm scared too, Joel. But we'll figure it out."
Joel looks at you, his eyes searching yours for something, anything. "But what if I can't be a good father? What if all I'm good at is failing?”
The vulnerability in his voice takes you aback. You never imagined Joel, the strong and confident man you've come to know and love, could feel this way. You take his hand in both of yours, your eyes meeting his. "Joel, you are a good person. You have overcome so much in your life, and you have so much love to give. I believe in you, and I know that you will be an amazing father if you want, but if not,” You pause as more tears threaten to fall, “if not then we can end the trip here and go our separate ways. I'm giving you an out.” You look down at the sand as the tears pour from your face, and suddenly you're sobbing into your hands.
Joel gently takes your hands away from your face and places his there instead, holding you like you're the most delicate thing in the world. Looking into your eyes, he can see the fear and uncertainty in them, and it breaks his heart. He takes a deep breath, "Darlin', I love you. I have loved you from the moment I met you. And I want to be with you, always. I want to be there for you and our baby. I'm not gonna leave.”
You look up at him, tears still streaming down your face. "Really?”
He nods, a small smile on his face. "Yes, really. I want to be a family with you. I want to build a life with you. I want to be the father that our child deserves. I may not be perfect, but I'll do everything in my power to be there for you both.”
You feel a sense of relief wash over you. "Thank you, Joel. Thank you for being here for me, for us."
Joel smiles, his eyes softening. "Always, darlin'. Always."
You lean in and kiss him, feeling a sense of closeness and connection that you've never felt before. When you pull away, you can see the love and adoration in his eyes, and you know that everything is going to be okay.
As your flight to France draws near, you take time to rest, feeling the fatigue from the emotional morning catch up to you. After your tearful conversation, Joel takes it upon himself to go out and buy you some essentials. He knows that you'll need all the support you can get during this pregnancy, and he wants to do everything in his power to help you. So he walks down the bustling streets of Greece, taking in the sights and sounds of the market. He heads to a florist first, picking out a beautiful bouquet of pink and white roses. The florist wraps them up carefully, and Joel can't help but smile as he takes them in his hands. He knows they'll just be left here when you leave, but he gets them anyway, hoping to brighten your mood.
Next, he heads to a small café, where he orders a box of pastries, a few sandwiches, and two cups of hot coffee. He knows that you've been feeling a bit nauseous, but he's hoping that the smell of fresh coffee will help perk you up. After that, he makes his way to a health food store, where he picks up some prenatal vitamins and other supplements. He's not entirely sure what you'll need, so he grabs one of anything that seems helpful.
As he walks back to the villa, Joel can't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He knows that this pregnancy is going to be a challenge and change his life forever. He wants to be there for you every step of the way, providing you with the love and support that you need, more than ever, but he can't help feeling a sense of doubt in himself.
Could he really do this all over again without failing?
The villa is quiet and peaceful, the only sound being the soft rhythm of your breathing as you sleep. Joel enters the room, his footsteps light on the plush carpet. He looks at you with a soft smile on his face as he watches you sleep. You look so beautiful, so peaceful that he feels a pang in his heart, wondering how you must be feeling. He quietly sets up a little display for you, with the flowers in a vase, the food, and the vitamins, all laid out on the table. With everything in place, Joel grabs his cup of coffee and takes a seat at the table, his eyes never leaving you.
As time passes, Joel decides to step out onto the balcony overlooking the sea. The view is breathtaking, the endless expanse of blue water stretching out before him. He takes a deep breath, feeling the salty air fill his lungs and pulls out the box with the engagement ring he's picked out for you from his pocket, and the delicate gem gleams in the sunlight. He knows now more than ever that this is the right decision, that his plans to propose in France will definitely go forward. He wants to spend the rest of his life with you, to build a family and a future together.
You slowly open your eyes, the sleep still lingering in your limbs. As you sit up, you're greeted by the mouth-watering aroma of freshly brewed coffee and buttery pastries. Your eyes widen in surprise as you take in the beautiful display Joel has set up on the table. A vase filled with an array of bright and colorful flowers sits prominently in the center, surrounded by an assortment of foods, vitamins, and prenatal supplements. “Joel what is all this?”
"Thought you might need some stuff to help you through the pregnancy. I wasn't sure if you're allowed coffee, but I figured one cup won't hurt."
You smile, feeling a sense of gratitude and love for Joel. He's been so supportive and kind, and you know that he's going to be an amazing father. You take a sip of the coffee, feeling the warmth spread through your body.
As the two of you make your way to the airport, you can't help but feel a sense of anxiety. This trip has already been a whirlwind, and the news of your pregnancy has only added to the drama. As you board the plane, Joel notices a familiar face in first class. It's a woman he used to know back when he was married, a wealthy socialite who always seemed to have her sights set on him. She sees him as well, and a sly smile spreads across her face. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Joel Miller," she purrs. "And who is this little thing by your side? Certainly not the sort of woman I'd expect to see with a man like you." She eyes you up and down.
You feel your cheeks burning with embarrassment, but Joel just smiles. "Now, now, Elizabeth, there's no need to be rude. This is my partner, and she's pregnant with my child. I'd appreciate it if you'd show her some respect."
Elizabeth raises an eyebrow, clearly surprised. "Pregnant? Well, congratulations, I suppose. I never took you for the family type, Joel, not after what happened to - whatever her name was. But I guess we all have our secrets, don't we?"
You can feel your anger rising, but Joel just shakes his head. "Elizabeth, please. We're just trying to enjoy our trip."
Elizabeth sighs, clearly disappointed. "Fine, Joel. I'll leave you to your...family. But don't expect me to roll out the red carpet for your little ragamuffin here. She's not exactly the type of person I'd expect to see in first class." With that, she turns on her heel and walks away, leaving you and Joel sitting there in shock.
"I'm so sorry, I had no idea she'd be on this flight. She's always had a bit of a mean streak."
You sigh, leaning into his embrace. "It's okay, Joel. I know she was just trying to get a reaction out of you. But you didn't have to announce that I'm pregnant, I mean, we just found out, why'd you tell her?”
Joel looks at you with a sheepish expression. "I'm sorry, princess. I didn't mean to blurt it out like that. I guess I just wanted to prove to her that I'm not the same man I used to be, that I've changed and grown. I wanted her to know that I'm happy, that I'm in love. I wanted her to see that I'm not alone, that I have you and the baby, and that I don't need her or anyone else from that damn circle."
"I know, Joel. And I'm proud of you, I really am. It's just a lot to take in, that's all.” You sigh
The rest of the flight is tense and heavy, with both of you lost in your own thoughts. You can't shake off the encounter with Elizabeth, and you can tell that Joel is still feeling guilty for blurting out your pregnancy. But despite the awkwardness, you find comfort in Joel's presence, his warm hand holds yours as the plane begins its descent. You feel a sudden surge of excitement. You've never been to France before, and you can't wait to explore the city of love with Joel.
“You wanna watch a movie? It'll help pass the time.” Joel offers, and you agree.
As the two of you settle into your seats and the movie begins, Joel can't help but feel a sense of guilt and unease. He keeps replaying the encounter with Elizabeth in his mind, wondering if he made a mistake by revealing your pregnancy to her. He knows that he only did it to prove a point, but he can't shake off the feeling that he's failed you in some way.
He looks over at you halfway through the movie to find you sleeping peacefully next to him. He can't help but feel overwhelmed by the weight of his past, by the memories of his failed marriage and the loss of his firstborn child. His mind drifts to the future and all the challenges that it may bring. He knows that he's made mistakes in the past, but he's determined to do better this time around. He looks over at you again, your face illuminated by the soft glow of the movie screen, and he feels a sense of peace wash over him. Maybe he can do this.
As the movie comes to an end, Joel takes your hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze. You open your eyes, looking up at him with a sleepy smile. "Hey princess" he says, his voice soft.
"Hey," you reply, yawning. "What time is it?"
"We're about to land."
You look out the window as the plane descends, watching as the green fields and rolling hills of the countryside give way to the bustling cityscape of Paris. The Eiffel Tower looms in the distance, a symbol of love and romance that seems to promise a brighter future.

cw: JJK MANGA SPOILERS!!!! read at your own risk!!!!! megumi and gojo centric, sad sad sad i am so sad
Tumblr media
“He’s just a kid.”
Satoru’s tone is one you’ve never heard from him. Quiet, strained, barely a whisper against the howling wind from outside. He's never not spoken with conviction; never had a voice that cracks with uncertainty. You hate it.
“I know.”
He’s quick to clarify, “I mean, they all are. But he—”
He loses his train of thought—or rather, he’s not strong enough to finish it. To say it out loud in fear of it taking on a greater form. He decides on shaking his head and returning his voice to a whisper as he insists.
“It’s different.”
“I know,” you repeat. Your hand holds his far too tight when you solemnly clarify, “he’s different.”
“He—” a sniffle disguised as an inhale interrupts, “I taught him how to ride a bike.”
His words somehow sew the stitches of your broken heart back together before ripping them open once more. Bittersweet imagery swallows you whole.
The thought of a tiny stubborn Megumi wrestling with something as minuscule as training wheels—what would then seem like the biggest obstacle he’d ever face. The cruel irony weighs heavy on your tongue.
His barely four-foot stature somehow intimidating a lanky teenage Satoru.
Satoru—not yet an adult but still volunteering any missed remnant of his own childhood in exchange for the right thing, he holds onto the back of Megumi’s bicycle seat for about thirty seconds before Megumi shoves him off and insists he can do it himself.
In the silence of your home, Satoru sees it too—remembers it like it was yesterday. And what he, at the time, thought was the scariest thing that could've ever happened to him floods his mind, is now something he yearns to go back for. To do it all again, the exact same way, just to sit in the moment for a bit longer.
“Lil’ asshole learned so fast, I barely got to teach him anything,” he scoffs behind wet eyes, “but still.”
You let out a snotty laugh, and it lifts the troublesome boulder on Satoru’s shoulder for a moment. A millisecond, maybe, but he’s grateful for it all the same.
“And all the times he threw up in the middle of the night and I—”
His own sob cuts his words short.
More imagery floods your mind. This time, a shaky and clammy Megumi standing by the bedside of a sleeping Satoru. With unsteady hands and a burning forehead, he pokes and prods the guardian behind watering eyes.
Satoru tastes bile as he remembers heating up alphabet soup on the stove at the crack of dawn. How Megumi would wait at the table, head in hands and blanket wrapped loosely around his tiny frame. Short legs swinging from the chair, yet to be long enough to reach the tiled ground.
He wants to go back, wants to ruffle his hair and wipe his snot one last time. Wants to watch him grow like a weed and nearly surpass his own gigantic height. Wants to teach him all he can and not send him on that wild goose hunt for a finger that leads them here—separated and cursing their own decisions.
The world feels like it stops turning when Satoru barely speaks up, “He’s supposed to be my best man.”
Your blurry eyes can barely make out the silver band decorating his ring finger that matches the diamond on yours. One that’s supposed to promise you a lifetime of happiness, but right now serves as a reminder that nothing is promised. Nothing can be guaranteed in the world of Gojo Satoru.
Still, you try to smile for him. “He will be,” you nod.
But Satoru shakes his head. “Baby, we need to think realistically about all of—”
“We know nothing, Satoru.”
“We know enough.”
His tone is harsh, like a blade on glass, it scratches to leave a mark. It cuts you deep, even when it shouldn't because you know he isn't angry with you. But Megumi is not here and Gojo can’t think straight knowing he could’ve done something to change the pattern.
With a deep breath, he catches the flash of hurt in your eye.
Hands instantly wrapping around your frame, more so for himself and not for you, he shakes against your body. “M’sorry, sorry.”
His nose tickles your neck as he hiccups.
“I just…” he tries his best to say something, anything, to explain even an ounce of what he’s feeling. But nothing does it justice, so he decides on a simple whimper.
“He’s everything.”
And just like that, the water overflows, and all Satoru couldn’t say is on the table with a mere two words. He’s everything—a son not his, a brother too young, a bond more vital than the lack of blood that runs behind it.
Megumi is everything, and he’s not here.
You pull Satoru’s face from the crook of your neck and hold it in your hands as if it’s glass. It is, you try to remind yourself.
You force him to look at you, to feel your determination when you speak with fire, “We’re gonna be fine.”
Broken beyond repair, Satoru merely nods—but he knows the truth.
He’s seen this play out before, his own history repeating itself, taunting him right before his six eyes. Too powerful in every way but the one that matters, Gojo Satoru is always too late.
Satoru knows both he and Megumi will not walk out of this alive. Only one, if either, is lucky enough to break the pattern.
What he doesn't tell your pleading eyes and hopeful heart, is that he hopes it's Megumi. For the sake of all things good, please let it be Megumi who returns home to you.

The Fall | 2
Tumblr media
Pairing: Vanessa Shelly x Reader
Warnings: Lots of tension, “harmless” flirting.
Summary: Vanessa checks in on you.
Word count: 2.0k
Authors note: Wrote this half asleep so please don’t mind if there’s any mistakes.
One thing Vanessa made sure to do after your first shift was to check up on you nightly. She used your safety as an excuse to see you regularly, but you didn't mind; you enjoyed Vanessa's company, no matter what the excuse for seeing each other was. This became a tradition for the two of you, and the thought of Vanessa would soon become enough to excite you even on the dullest of nights.
It had now been two weeks since your first shift, and you were fully aware of the feelings you had developed for Vanessa. The uncertainty around whether or not she shared the same feelings frustrated you, but you couldn't deny that you were hard and falling fast. Every night, you'd eagerly await her arrival, your nerves set on edge with excitement. You weren't sure how to handle these feelings, but you knew that it would be hard to hide your growing attraction to her.
Over the past few weeks, there had been some harmless flirting between you. However, the uncertainty around whether or not it was just playful teasing or something more serious had been driving you crazy. In a way, you were frustrated that a woman you barely knew could hold such a strong hold on your heart, but at the same time, it was exhilarating to have her so heavily on your mind.
It felt cheesy to admit but being around Vanessa made you feel safe, like a calming presence that washed away any worries or insecurities that you normally felt in the world. Everything else, all your troubles and concerns, seemed to fade away into nothingness when she was with you.
You were once again watching the monitors, this night being slow and uneventful. Nothing of interest had happened so far, and you absentmindedly tapped your pencil on the desk and glanced around the room, your gaze always lingering for a bit too long on the cameras. Deep down, you desperately wished for something interesting to happen to break up the monotony of this slow night.
You found yourself wondering when Vanessa would come to check up on you, and you were secretly hoping that tonight she'd stay with you for a little longer than she did yesterday. Your eyes settled on the clock, which read ‘11:34 pm,’ and you couldn't help but let out a sigh, wishing that time would speed up so the long night would pass by quicker.
The moment you glanced back at the screen, you noticed Vanessa's patrol car pulling into the parking lot, a smile spreading across your face. You couldn't help but stand up and head towards the door to let her in.
Vanessa effortlessly slipped her patrol car into the parking lot. She stepped out of the car, and made her way towards the entrance. As the two of you noticed each other through the window, a smile spread across Vanessa's face, her lips curving upwards and her eyes sparkling. She smiled back at you, and for a moment, the world seemed to stand still as the two of you made eye contact. Just for a moment it had felt like you were in some cheesy romance movie.
As you arrived at the door you reached out and opened it. You smiled at Vanessa, obviously excited to see her. Vanessa's eyes lit up as you opened the door for her, her smile growing as she looked at you. "Hey, you," she greeted lightly, her voice soft. She stepped towards you, leaning in gently for a casual hug, the hug had surprised you and made your whole body heat up.
As you pulled back, a small blush rose to your cheeks at Vanessa's casual familiarity with you. "Hey Vanessa." You replied out a quick greeting in return, forcing a smile to your lips as your mind quickly scrambled for something to say. "How's your night been? Thought you wouldn’t show up." you asked nervously, keeping your eyes lowered slightly and your breath steady, not wanting to risk ruining the gentle and calm atmosphere that Vanessa's presence had created.
Vanessa noticed the small change in your tone. She gave a small, playful chuckle and a sly smile, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she read your mind. "Thought I wouldn't show up just because I'm a minute later tonight?" She teased gently, her in a voice quiet but playful tone. "You know I could never miss a chance to see my favorite security guard."
"Oh, shut up!" You replied playfully and with a smile on your face, momentarily pausing. "You're usually a bit earlier than this," you continued, returning her playful joke and lightly teasing her back. "I was starting to worry I'd missed my chance to see my favorite officer this night." You say slightly mocking her.
Vanessa rolled her eyes playfully and chuckled lightly. "Oh, stop it," she said in that familiar teasing tone of hers, her eyes full of amusement. "I was just running a few extra errands near the station tonight, I'll have you know."
She placed a hand on her hip and gave a playful shrug, a small smile continuing to linger on her lips. "Can't have my favorite security guard getting too bored, can I?"
"Absolutely not, I was dangerously close to dying of boredom." You stepped aside and opened the door wider to let Vanessa in, gesturing for her to come in.
Vanessa laughed at your response. "Oh, you'd die of boredom without me to entertain you?" she replied with a sly grin, stepping through the entrance. "Well, who knew that I'd be saving you from such a cruel fate?” She teased as she closed the door behind her.
“My one and only savior,” you joke. Vanessa stepped closer to you, her playful demeanor more intense with each passing moment. "What would you do without me to keep you entertained on these long, boring nights?" she asked, her eyes fluttering as her voice grew softer. Your heart beat fastened and your mind began to scramble with nervous thoughts. "Maybe I should stay a little longer tonight," she said in a flirtatious tone.
“You know, I’d like that.” You reply getting excited of the thought of Vanessa staying longer than usual.
Her eyes widened slightly. "Oh, you'd like that?" she replied softly, her voice tinged with excitement. She stepped slightly closer to you and leaned in. "Well, maybe I should stay a while longer...just to keep you entertained, of course", she whispered teasingly, and your body began to heat up at the thought of Vanessa staying with you tonight.
Despite knowing that nothing would happen between you and Vanessa due to you both working, you couldn't help but feel your heart beating faster and your thoughts running wild as you followed her down the hallway. You tried to shake off your thoughts, not wanting to get too caught up in the fantasy, but you couldn't help but notice the way in which Vanessa's hips swayed as she slowly walked ahead of you, your eyes drawn to her every move.
"It's been pretty quiet tonight, hasn't it?" You casually ask as you and Vanessa make your way down the hallway, hoping to start a conversation and get your mind to stop racing with not so innocent thoughts. Vanessa's eyes light up at the comment, her flirty demeanor now replaced by a more relaxed and casual one. "It has been, yeah," She replies with a small smile, casually swinging her arms as she walks alongside you, "I can't complain, though. It's nice to have a little down time sometimes."
"I certainly can't disagree," You agree with a nod, glancing over at Vanessa and subtly admiring her side profile. A small smile crossed Vanessa's face as she felt your gaze, you immediately looked away, embarrassed from your own actions.
Vanessa watched you move towards your desk, feeling the tension in the air seem to dissipate a little. She smiled softly, feeling a bit flustered by the situation but also quite enjoying it.
As you reached your desk, you seated yourself in your chair, letting out a sigh to release the tension you could feel in the room. With Vanessa's eyes following your movements, you then turned your chair to face her, only to find her gazing at you with a soft smile. You felt your heart begin to pick up its pace as you met her gaze.
"So, how's your night been so far?" Vanessa asks, trying to ignore the tension that hung heavy in the air. Her eyes carefully watched your movements, trying to gauge your reaction as she brought up the conversation starter. Yet, she didn't realize just how much effect she was having on you, as you felt the heat rising in your cheeks and your heart beating intently as you were so focused on Vanessa.
“It’s been pretty good so far, much better now that you’re here.” You say sincerely smiling at her. Vanessa's face lights up at your compliment, her eyes sparkling as she looks towards you. "Oh, is that so?" she replied playfully, matching your tone and smile, though there was a hint of flirtatiousness in her words. "Well, I'm glad to be here and make your night more enjoyable." She gave a small shrug, her gaze lingering lightly on you as her eyes followed your every move, the atmosphere around the two of you growing increasingly intimate.
As her words sank in, your muscles grew tense as you felt the intensity of the situation ramping up. You couldn't help but feel yourself falling deeper and deeper for Vanessa. Without even realizing it, you felt yourself falling further into temptation.
"It's been a lot more enjoyable now that you're here," you said with a playful grin as the atmosphere around the two of you grows increasingly intimate. Vanessa returns your smile, her eyes twinkling. As the tension rises, She leans in and whispers closely to you, letting her warm breath touch your ear as she says, "And it'll be even better later on.” She playfully teases you, seeking to elicit a reaction from your flushed face. As you feel your adrenaline levels rising sharply, she leans back and laughs faintly at your reaction. Embarrassed, you turn away and try to contain the heat in your cheeks.
"Well, I'll have to admit, you're certainly bold," you said, amused by Vanessa's playful flirtatiousness. The butterflies in your stomach fluttered furiously, your laughter soft as you struggled to maintain your composure.
Vanessa's eyes were filled with amusement as she saw your blush. "Oh, am I now?" she asked playfully. She leaned forward slightly, her eyes and lips fixed on yours as she continued, "Well, I guess I'll just have to be even bolder, won't I?" She whispered softly.
You playfully rolled your eyes at Vanessa's playful self-confidence. “You’re too cocky for your own good.”
"Am I now?" she replied playfully, her tone hinting at flirtatious teasing as she looked towards you with a smirk. Her expression grew a tad more mischievous as she said, "Maybe I am, but I'm sure you enjoy it, don't you?"
"Yeah you wish," you responded teasingly as you crossed your arms over your chest. Vanessa smirked as she enjoyed your playful banter, her eyes lingering on you and a slight blush forming on her cheeks before she replied, "Maybe I do." She replied, her flirtatious demeanor making every word and gesture seem more than just a playful exchange.

Experience.
Yan Nanami x GN Reader.
Synopsis: Kento says to meet him downstairs to get ready to go outside.
Warnings: Yandere themes, past stalking, kidnapping, manipulation, and past violence.
Word Count: 800.
*~*~*~*
Last winter, your captor informed you that you would have the opportunity to venture outdoors when the darkness fell, the streets were deserted, and the pavements were sprinkled with salt. Despite endlessly waiting for Kento to stop reading his book and unlock the closet near the entrance, allowing you to slip into your jacket, the awaited moment never arrived. This instance marked the first occasion when Kento inflicted more emotional pain upon you than physical.
It hurt because he promised. Kento had never broken a promise to you before. Never. For better or worse, whether that was promising to buy you a cake for when you were good for a few weeks or promising to slap you across the face whenever he caught you mid-escape attempt.
You asked him if he was going to take you when the sun had set, the fireplace was lit and your cup of tea had long since become cold. For what seemed like an eternity, his gaze lingered, chilling you to the bone from head to toe. Silence. No answer. You teared up and kept scrambling and muttering begs to go outside even if it was just for a moment or two.
With every one, he shook his head and turned to another page of his novel. After enough, he started to sigh to the rest of them. Soon, you stopped, looking down at your cold feet and shuffling to the kitchen to grab your sweater, as useless as it was to keep you warm in this weather. That was when he spoke.
“It’s snowing.” Kento pointed to the apartment window, and the winter wonderland outside looked more horrifying than hell to you and to you alone. Snowflakes rush to the ground every second, painting the sidewalks and roads a shade of white fit for a traditional bridal veil. “You’ll catch a cold, and you could get hurt.”
You stopped walking and faced him. Tears fell from your eyes then, after so long of being unpunished. Despite the warmth of the flames within the stoker placed by the television, your cheeks felt so stinging that you could have sworn that your cries would turn into icicles that would sooner than later impale your feet. You sniffle, and Kento stands up from his rocking chair at long last.
Old habits die hard and come back to life at that very moment. Impulses, animal, and raw and afraid. You ran frantically, wanting to be anywhere but in the same room as him at the very least. But wherever you ran and hid, he would always find you.
In no time, you discovered your back against the wall, caught between the pantry door that refused to budge and the ever-present figure of Kento. It felt like a repeat of the day you awoke in this place, only this time Kento displayed a touch of kindness he lacked before, back when you bit and screamed and always got tied up or hit with his belt. So, because of this slight development, rather than resorting to violence or depriving you of your fundamental rights, he opted for a different approach–a proposition to be exact.
“We… can bake something.” He utters his words with a hint of uncertainty. “Something warm. Whatever you want. I just don’t want you to get sick. During the colder times of the month, influenza especially gets passed around as quickly as wildfire. There is also the common cold. Those… and curses. You aren’t strong enough to defeat them. We both already know that don’t we?”
Despite its lack of fairness, the exchange was still a trade, albeit an imbalanced one. So, you think. Things are set in stone already for Kento. He won’t budge. You may as well not try to delay the inevitable. So, slowly but surely, you nod, almost choking up another sob as you do so.
“I… Yeah. W-We can bake something.”
“Good. How about some cookies? It is the holiday season after all.”
Memories of joyful holidays spent with your true family flood your mind, contrasting sharply with the current reality of being trapped by a deranged stalker. As long as this manipulator holds power over you, the chances of reuniting with your loved ones grow increasingly slim. Concern gnaws at your heart – are your family members safe and sound? You can only hope for their well-being.
However, your heart reminds you that it's important to prioritize yourself. Consequently, you decide to proceed and accept whatever you can in the present moment. Whatever you can.
No matter the circumstances, you find yourself trapped in a suffocating grip. It could be the frost, the concern you harbor for your dear ones, or the relentless pressure of Kento's hands gripping you tightly until you're on the verge of breaking. Turning the heat up will only burn your flesh and not melt away anything. You are going to get hurt whether it is used or not.

The next morning, it was Sunday and you thanked God for it. You were tired and the events from last night still lingered in your head, Joel, Connell's proposal, and the mix of feelings because of it.
“Move to London?” you asked Connell, as if you couldn’t believe the words that came out of his mouth.
Connell looked at you with a patient and reassuring smile, understanding the magnitude of the decision he had just proposed. He reached out and gently took your hand, his touch comforting.
"Yes," he replied softly, "Moving to London would be a big step, and I don't want you to say yes right now. Take all the time you need to think about it. I'm willing to wait."
You nodded, appreciating his understanding and patience. The idea of moving to a new city, even for love, was overwhelming. You needed to consider your job, your life, and the ties you had built in your current home.
“Or is there someone?” He asked, “Oh my god”. He covered his face with his hands. “I can’t believe I didn’t ask about that”.
You graced a tiny smile, comforting Connell
“So, is there someone?”
“It’s complicated.”
Connell's expression softened as he gazed into your eyes. "Bee, I want you to be happy. If there's someone else in your life, I'll respect that. But I just had to be honest with you about my feelings and my intentions."
You appreciated his understanding and his willingness to accept your situation, even if it was complex. The bond you had shared with Connell was strong, but your involvement with Joel had added layers of confusion and uncertainty to your life. It was a tangled web of emotions that you needed to untangle before making any decisions.
Connell leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. "Take all the time you need to figure things out, no matter what. You choose me or choose whoever the other guy is, I'll be for you."
With his reassuring words, you felt a weight lifted from your shoulders, knowing you had Connell's unwavering support, whatever decision you eventually made, and that made your heart feel at ease for once.
Nevertheless, you didn´t remember what happened after that. You both drank wine, you mostly, and you knew that you drunkenly confessed everything about your and Joel's “agreement” to Connell.
You felt embarrassed. Having Connell back helped you to see things clearly, and with your birthday coming soon, you were even more stupid for doing this at your age.
You decided to go back to sleep to avoid overthinking it. However, your attempt to do so was interrupted by a knock on your front door. You groaned and glanced at the clock; it was eight in the morning, and you couldn't bear facing a person at this time. Nevertheless, and still feeling a bit dazed from last night's wine, you dragged yourself out of bed and stumbled to the front door. Last
When you opened the door, you were met with Joel standing there. He looked like he hadn't slept much either. There were dark circles under his eyes, and he appeared slightly disheveled as if he had rushed over to your place first thing in the morning.
"Joel, what are you doing here so early?" you asked, still rubbing the sleep from your eyes.
Joel hesitated before answering, his face displaying conflictive emotions "I needed to talk to you. Can I come in?"
You felt like this wasn’t a good idea right now, but you stepped aside, allowing him to enter your home.
As he entered, you couldn't help but notice he was carrying two bags.
"I brought breakfast," he said, offering a faint smile.
You couldn't shake the nagging feeling that this was an attempt to make amends after last night's dinner with Lauren, and you were on guard. You didn’t want to show him he was having an effect on your emotions.
"Joel, what's all this?" you asked, gesturing at the bags as he placed them on the table.
Joel took a deep breath, his gaze on your eyes. "I know I messed up last night, and I'm really sorry for everything that happened. I was hoping we could talk and sort things out."
Your guard was still up, but the sound of his voice touched your heart. "Joel, last night..."
He cut you off gently, "I know, Bee, I know. I want to explain. Please, let me."
"I won't pretend that last night wasn't complicated," Joel began, keeping his gaze on the breakfast he was preparing. "I know I hurt you by having dinner with Lauren. But please believe me, it wasn't what it looked like."
You remained silent, letting him continue.
Joel's voice held a note of frustration as he explained, "Lauren and I have a history. Yes, but we have something in common and Sarah wants to know her mother. I can’t deny her that right.”
You wanted to believe him, but the doubts lingered. "Actions speak louder, you know?”
“I have nothing with her,” he said, widening his eyes as he looked into her eyes.
You could see the sincerity in his eyes. You wanted to trust him, to believe that he had good intentions. It was a complicated situation, one you had never expected to find yourself in.
“So, what are you suggesting?" you asked, your voice cautious.
Joel sighed, with relief and anxiety in his expression. "I'm suggesting that we reevaluate our agreement. Maybe we can redefine our boundaries and communicate better about our feelings."
You considered his proposal, thinking about how this might change things between you two. Despite the pain and confusion, a part of you also cared about Joel. It wasn't easy to let go of something that had brought so much comfort into your life.
“Okay” you smiled in agreement. Knowing you should tell him about Connell’s proposal, but you hadn’t the strength to do it.
Joel mirrored your actions, and he turned back to the breakfast he was preparing; you felt the weight of the both of you on your shoulders. This situation was far from simple, and your heart was torn between wanting to trust Joel or starting a new life with somebody you already trusted.
“So, you woke up today and decided to come here?” you asked.
“Actually, yes, that’s what I did,” he laughed. “I didn’t know you were in a hangover though, sorry for that. Did you and Lily hang out last night?”
“Actually, I had dinner with Connell,” you said, anticipating his reaction.
“Your ex?”
“Yes.”
Joel's expression shifted, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he processed the information. He clearly hadn't expected that response.
"Dinner with Connell," he repeated, his voice tinged with a mix of surprise and uncertainty.
You nodded, feeling the need to explain. "He had something important to talk about, and he's leaving for London soon. It felt like the right thing to do."
Joel took a moment to collect his thoughts, then replied, "Well, I guess it's good you two talked. You should figure things out. I mean, he's your ex, and he's moving away."
His words were calm and understanding, which was a relief. You had braced for a more tense reaction.
"Yeah," you said, appreciating his mature response. "We're just trying to be on good terms before he leaves."
Joel gave a small nod, his expression thoughtful. The conversation had taken a different turn, and the complexities of your feelings and relationships weighed heavily on your mind. You hoped that both Joel and Connell could find their respective places in your life, but the path ahead was far from clear.
You just omitted the part when he asked you to leave with him.
Joel gave a small nod, his expression thoughtful. The conversation about Connell hung in the air and Joel decided to break the tension by returning to breakfast. He finished preparing the meal, and the two of you sat down to eat. The atmosphere was lighter, and you both made an effort to talk about less complicated topics, sharing stories and laughs over your food.
You still found it funny how you both went from not talking at all to talking about anything.
After breakfast, as you helped Joel with some preparations for his upcoming exhibition, you couldn't help but think about the new direction your life was taking. Joel had proposed reevaluating your agreement, and Connell had asked you to go with him to London. The decisions ahead were daunting, and you knew that clarity would be hard to come by.
Joel was also deep in thought as he arranged some artwork, and eventually, he broke the silence. "Bee, I know things have gotten complicated, but I genuinely want to make this work.”
His words were sincere, and you could sense his determination. It was a lot to process, but you couldn't deny that you also cared about Joel. The choices you had to make in the coming days would be defining moments in your life, and you hoped you could find a path that would lead to happiness and fulfillment, no matter how complex it might be.
With your birthday coming in three days, you felt that your new year of life would be different.
Tumblr media
The timing couldn't have been more challenging as Joel's upcoming art exhibition was just around the corner. The preparations for the event were in full swing, and you were doing your best to help him with the decoration and catering.
The gallery was buzzing with activity. Paintings were being hung, sculptures were being arranged, and the space was being transformed into a captivating display of Joel's artwork. You couldn't help but be impressed by his talent and dedication to his craft.
As for your "relationship," you and Joel were navigating it with care. It was a tricky balance of pretending to be a couple while not letting your true feelings get in the way. Sometimes, the lines blurred, and it became challenging to differentiate between the act and reality.
You worked closely with Joel to ensure that the gallery's decor matched his artistic vision. Together, you chose color schemes and hung string lights to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The collaboration brought you closer, and as you worked side by side, there were moments when you exchanged genuine smiles and shared laughter that felt far from fake.
Convincing everyone about your relationship was an ongoing challenge. You played the part of the affectionate girlfriend, exchanging hugs, kisses, and sweet nothings with Joel. The outside world saw the two of you as a couple, but you knew the truth lay somewhere between reality and pretense.
As the event drew near, the question that remained was whether you could maintain the charade or if it would evolve into something real.
Tumblr media
The day of your birthday dawned, and you couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. The recent developments in your life, your family and friends’ birthday wishes, and Joel’s upcoming art exhibition made this birthday unlike any other.
As you made your way to the gallery to leave the usual cup of coffee for Joel, you felt a sense of excitement. You couldn't deny that you enjoyed spending time with him, but you also knew that this fake relationship was getting more complicated by the day due to feelings getting involved.
When you arrived at the gallery, you were greeted by the soft glow of string lights and the familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee. The space looked even more beautiful now with Joel's artwork on display. It was evident that he had put his heart and soul into his work.
Just as you set the coffee on the table, Joel appeared, a warm smile on his face. He walked over to you and pulled you into a gentle hug, pressing a soft kiss on your cheek. "Happy birthday, Bee," he whispered.
The simple gesture was filled with genuine warmth, and it touched your heart. You felt your cheeks blushing at his touch.
"Thank you, Joel," you replied with a smile.
Joel gestured to a small gift wrapped in a simple but elegant box. "I got you a little something," he said, his eyes filled with anticipation.
You accepted the gift and carefully unwrapped it, revealing a beautiful necklace. It was a delicate piece of jewelry with a pendant in the form of a flower that resembled his art and your essence together. You were taken aback by the beauty and thoughtfulness of the gift.
"It's beautiful, you said, genuinely touched by his gesture. "Thank you, Joel."
He smiled, and for a moment, the line between pretense and reality blurred again. It was a birthday gift that felt meaningful, not just because of the necklace, but because it came from someone who had become an important part of your life.
Joel pulled you into another hug, and you realized that, despite all the complexities and pretense, this connection was becoming real.
"Thank you for this," you said, gesturing to the necklace. "It means a lot to me."
Joel took your hand and looked into your eyes; his gaze was sincere. "You mean a lot to me."
Your breath sucked in, leaving you breathless as his words hung in the air. You knew that this fake relationship had evolved into something more, something that was real.
Joel's hand in yours felt warm and reassuring. As you stood together in the gallery, you couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the future, even if it remained uncertain. Your birthday had taken an unexpected turn, and you had a feeling that more surprises were yet to come.
"The gallery is closed for the morning because we have someone to celebrate today," Joel said with a playful grin.
You chuckled; the weight of the world momentarily lifted. "Alright, what's the plan?"
Joel leaned in and whispered, "I have a few more surprises up my sleeve. But first, let's enjoy some coffee together."
........................
The day moved forward in a whirlwind of excitement and celebration. Joel had arranged a surprise birthday party for you in the gallery. Your friends, including Lily, and even Sarah, were all there to celebrate with you. It was a beautiful gathering filled with laughter and warmth, and you couldn't help but feel grateful for the people in your life.
Joel played the perfect host, making sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. You saw how he effortlessly blended with your friends. His charm and genuine smiles seemed to win everyone over.
As the evening progressed, the party was in full swing, but Joel leaned in to whisper in your ear, "I have one more surprise for you. Why don't you come to my place tonight? Tommy won’t be there and Sarah will stay with Lauren tonight, and I was hoping for some alone time."
You couldn't help but smile,"I'd love to."
Joel's eyes sparkled with anticipation, and you realized that there was more of him that you hadn't fully explored.
The clock ticked away the hours, and eventually, it was time to leave the party behind. You said goodbye and made your way to Joel's place, with him by your side, and the atmosphere completely changed after that.
When you arrived at Joel's home, it welcomed you with the soft lighting and cozy ambiance in his living room. Set the perfect mood for what was to come. Joel's living room was bathed in the soft glow of light, and you couldn't help but feel a warm sensation at the gesture. He excused himself for a moment and disappeared into the kitchen, leaving you wondering what other surprises he might have in store.
As you sat there, Joel returned with a small tray of desserts. On it, there were beautifully plated mini cheesecakes topped with fresh berries, and a bottle of your favorite wine was chilling in an ice bucket nearby.
"This is the second part of your birthday surprise," Joel said with a mischievous smile. "I thought we could end the night with something sweet."
Your heart swelled with affection for his thoughtfulness. As you indulged in the delicious treats and sipped wine, the evening took on an even more romantic tone. The intimate setting, combined with Joel's genuine affection, made your birthday feel like something out of a fairytale.
You found yourself drawn to Joel's eyes, and he to yours. It was a moment when pretense gave way to something authentic, something that had been growing between you for the last two months. With every shared smile and every tender touch, the unspoken emotions between you became stronger.
Joel reached out and took your hand, his fingers gently tracing circles on your palm. The atmosphere was charged with unspoken desire, and it felt like the perfect time to take things to the next level, to explore what was real and true between you.
“Bee,” he said, looking straight into your eyes.
They were focused, eye to eye with his lips close to yours.
You were completely alone. You were in his house and both of your worlds were mixing together to become one. And your heart pulsed at the sound of the nickname he gave you years ago, something that seemed foreign back in those days, but now the tone lacing the sound of his voice sent a shiver down your spine.
“Happy birthday, Bee” he smiled, attaching his lisp to yours for a passionate kiss, flipping you over so he could be over you.
After that, everything happened so fast. Neither of you knew when you got rid of your clothes, but there was too much desperation in your touch, you wanted to see the way his fingers could make a mark on you, tracing lines of invisible traces over your body.
He was hovering over you, meeting your lips in a passionate kiss. He was in the right between your legs where you wanted him the most now.
He detached his lips from yours for a moment to look down at you for a moment. To admire the features of your face, and the nature of your body being displayed just for him right now. You felt the crimson color rushing up to your checks and for a moment you felt embarrassed under his stare, but he smiled at you.
“You look beautiful”. He swallowed hard, stroking your cheek with his thumb.
He kissed you again, slipping his tongue past your lips, gasping when he felt your fingers running your fingertips across his bare chest, tracing the lines of a map leading to where you couldn’t stop.
With one of your hands, you pulled him down by his neck to hold you against your lips again. Once you tasted them, you couldn’t get over the taste of them over yours, and you couldn’t get over the whimpers he left in your mouth.
His hands on your tights only increased the sparks in the place you wanted him the most, you wanted to follow the path even when you knew it was leading to a treacherous destination.
You continued kissing slowly as he caressed your thighs, as he wanted to worship your body and devour every single sound coming out from your mouth. He kissed you down over your neck, kissing, nipping your skin between his teeth.
And God, he loved the way you were making him feel. The fact this time was different to that night in the gallery some nights ago. At this moment, you weren’t driving for only passionate reasons, but for caring feelings for each other. You weren’t in a rush and that turned him on. He was hard for you and he wanted to meet where religion was, between your thighs.
Both of you gasped out loud the second he started to push slowly inside you. His hands reached for yours to interlock them together as he kissed you with softness, whispering “You’re so beautiful like this”. He was hypnotized by the way you were nervously laughing as you tossed your head back in pleasure. He bit your neck, causing your hands to follow their way up to his neck and his hands roamed down all of your body without a layer of clothes on you, focusing on every thrust, going deep to make sure he was making you feel good.
You opened your eyes to stare back at him, looking completely focused on you. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes as his hands caressed your breasts as he kept devouring your lips, your back arched followed by a moan against his lips. Every thrust felt so good you couldn’t help but feel you were in heaven. You could feel you were getting close as you squeezed him and you kept your eyes locked on each other. He pushed faster, with one hand caressing your cheek and the other holding your leg to ensure you fell apart.
The noises you made drove him crazy, feeling himself coming to the edge of the cliff. He wanted to look at you under him as you came, and with a loud gasp, it happened and he did it at the same time, falling over your bare chest, with your heartbeats becoming one.
Yes, you had sex and you crossed the line you couldn’t, but at that moment, you didn’t care.
You sighed softly under him, and Joel raised his head to look at you, showing him a cute smile that he wasn’t tired of, and you kissed him on the lips.
“I love you,” you said tiredly before falling asleep.
I love you.
Those three words were echoing in the shadows of his mind. His expression hardened and he felt his blood rushing. He couldn't be sure, but the impact it had on him was undeniable.
Now in the stillness of the room, he looked down at you, nestled in his arms,
He wanted to respond, to say those words back to him, but he hesitated. The weight of his complicated past with Lauren, the confusion of your fake relationship, and the promise you both had just broken kept him silent.
A few hours later, you woke up alone in Joel’s bed. You can't ignore the heavy feeling nestling on your chest. You made your way to the living room, and you found him sitting on the couch, his gaze lost in the soft light of the lamp.
You walked over and sat down beside him. “Couldn’t sleep?" you asked softly, your voice trembling.
And the way your voice sounded made Joel’s heart break.
Joel sighed, his shoulders slumping. He knew he couldn't keep you in the dark any longer. "Bee, I need to be honest with you," he said, his voice low and heavy. "This... relationship we've had, it's been confusing for me. I'm not sure where my feelings stand, and I can't keep pretending."
You listened attentively, your heart pounding. The room seemed to close in on you, and the silence felt suffocating.
Joel finally met your gaze, his eyes filled with regret. "I need to figure things out, Bee. I'm sorry, but I can't continue like this. I can't say those words back to you. Not yet"
You felt tears welling up in your eyes as the weight of his crashed down on you.
Tears welled up in your eyes as the weight of his confession crashed down on you. The vulnerability of those three words that you had uttered at the peak of the moment was now the breaking point between both of you.
Joel continued, "We should end this, Bee, for both our sakes. This... fake relationship isn't fair to you”
“But...but you said you cared about me” you whispered.
Trembling, Joel nodded his head as he reached for your hands, but you stood up from the couch to hide the tears streaming down your cheeks. Joel couldn’t help but feel he was already losing you.
He stood up, quickly grabbing your arms, and tears flickered in his eyes. But she refused to look at him at this moment.
“I care about you, Bee…You have to trust me, but I-”
“Do you love Lauren?”  you cut him.
You could see Joel was taken aback by your question.
“Bee, no. Look at me…I don’t love her” he said as he shook his head fast as if he was trying to stop the breaking pieces falling from you.
“But you don’t love me either,” you said, taking a step back to keep yourself away from Joel. “All you wanted from me was to take me to your bed, Joel.”
He tilted his head to have a glimpse of your face. When you looked up, your eyes shone with the tears dancing inside them. Joel took a step closer to you, holding your face and pressing his forehead against yours.
“No,” he said immediately “Bee, you have been the best thing that crossed my path-”
“Do you love me?” you asked in a breathy voice with the last strength you had left. That’s the last answer you need to prevent your falling.
Your question hung in the air, heavy and unanswerable. When you demanded to know if he loved you, you were met with silence.
The pain in your eyes was undeniable, and in that moment, you felt nothing but shame and heartache as he held your face in his hands, still keeping your foreheads together as if he was holding onto the last moments, he was going to have you this close.
Joel's heart shattered along with yours, and yet, he remained silent.
“You made me promise not to love you, Bee,” he said, as his voice didn’t have strength left.
“This is over, Joel,” you whispered.
Joel felt his soul leaving his body when you removed both of his hands from your face.
At that moment, your heart was glass and he dropped it.
And yet, he didn’t speak.
He was still there in the middle of his living room, not knowing what to do and how to act. The truth was that he did love you, but he had let his own demons and insecurities build a wall between you and him, and now it was too late to turn back time.
He had built a life with tall banners around his family, to protect them and himself from the people coming into his life. He stopped believing in love and fairy tales the day he and Sarah were abandoned by Lauren, and he didn’t let another one come closer to him in years until you settled next to him with flowers and effortless smiles.
He found himself smiling at you the very first days, until a bouquet of flowers and a card came to his office, a “gift” from you, and he thought you had second intentions, so he dropped the flowers and the card in the trash. He didn't know, but that was the very first time he broke your heart.
You, on the other hand, were crestfallen when you found the flowers and the card in the trash. You thought you could have brightened Joel’s days with the gesture, not knowing his real behavior. That time, the rejection hurt, and it made you question what was wrong with you.
That day you stopped talking to him, only keeping a polite distance, and your smiles became more reserved once he appeared in your sight.
And you become “enemies” after that.
And in the middle of those memories, Joel lost track of time. The door fell shut. You were gone.
Once you stepped out of Joel’s house, a sob escaped from your lips, and a heavy feeling settled in your heart. You couldn’t bear the feeling of humiliation consuming you.
You didn’t have a destination in mind, the heavy steps over cobblestones were breaking the silence of the still night. You were walking in a world that felt foreign and unwelcoming, navigating through a tumultuous mix of feelings you thought you had never had to experience.
You didn’t know what to do or who to call, you didn’t want to bother Lily because it was one in the morning and she would probably have slept, and you couldn’t face her after you promised her you would keep your heart safe from breaking.
You thought about calling Connell, but you didn’t want to drag him into this mess. You felt so humiliated and broken on your own birthday night and everything seemed to be falling apart.
You walked for what felt like hours, unable to find a direction. The tears you had been holding back began to flow freely down your cheeks.
And as the night deepened, you found yourself standing by a park bench, your legs finally giving in to exhaustion. You sat down, looking at the distance, lost in the memories of your time with Joel. And what started in a distant room ended up with you crying on a parking bench in the middle of the night. The pain was unbearable, and the feeling of abandonment cut deep to the bone.
You just couldn’t make up your mind about the thought of a person coming into your life, making you navigate through a lake of turbulent and magical emotions, painting your darker skies in vibrant colors just for them to walk over your own peace of mind, leaving scars they promised they would never leave on you.
Sitting on the park bench in the darkness, you felt vulnerable. The weight of the pain enveloped you. You knew you couldn't stay there forever, but you also couldn't bear to go back to your empty apartment, the place where you had shared moments with Joel.
In your fragile state, you reached for your phone and dialed Connell's number. Your heart ached, and the tears in your voice were unmistakable when he picked up.
Connell's voice was filled with concern when he said your name "What's wrong?"
The sound of his voice provided a small comfort, and you tried your best to steady your emotions. "Connell, I... I don't know where to go, and I didn't want to be alone. Something happened, and I—"
“Hey, easy. Breathe” Connell's reassuring tone came through the phone, "Just tell me where you are and I’ll be there."
You sent him the location of the park, and he promised to be there soon. While you waited, you let yourself cry softly, finding solace in the idea that someone who truly cared for you was on their way.
Connell arrived a short while later, and he wrapped his arms around you, offering comfort in his embrace. He listened as you cried on his shoulder while you tried to erase your memories and take away the pain.

The next morning, as the sun's first rays peeked through the curtains, Tommy walked into the living room expecting to find you and Joel making breakfast together.
Once he stepped inside, beaming, he found Joel in the same spot as last night.
“Bee is still sleeping?” Tommy joked.
But as soon as he saw the state of Joel sitting on the couch, his eyes bloodshot, and an empty bottle of whiskey on the coffee table, he knew something was wrong.
"Joel?" Tommy asked, taking a seat beside him.
Joel finally turned to his brother; his voice heavy with remorse. "I ruined her.”
Tommy had been through his fair share of tough times with Joel. The first time was the day Lauren walked out of his life, leaving him alone with a baby, Sarah, without any explanation, but now, he could sense the gravity of the situation. Joel was seriously broken this time.
“What happened?” Tommy asked.
Joel didn't reply immediately, instead choosing to take a long, deep breath.
“What happened?” He urged.
Joel told him the events from last night, how you told him you loved him, how he couldn’t say those words back, and the moment he had broken your heart. As he spoke, the tears welled up in his eyes once again. It was the first time Tommy had seen Joel this torn.
Tommy let out a deep sigh, and he placed a reassuring hand on Joel's shoulder. "Brother, please tell me you didn’t let her go home alone and break down on her birthday night.”
Not until then did it occur to Joel that something could have happened to you. He stood fast and ran to his bedroom, to grab his cellphone and call you, but Tommy stopped him before he could do anything.
“Easy Joel”, he said, reassuring him “She is not going to answer your calls right now.”
Tommy's words only deepened the weight of Joel's remorse. He dropped his phone back onto the coffee table and clenched his fists, feeling utterly helpless. "What have I done, Tommy? I love her”
Tommy continued to be the voice of reason. "You need to give her space, Joel. Pushing her right now might only make things worse. Let her cool off, and then you can talk to her when she's ready. But you need to give her time to heal."
Joel knew Tommy was right, but it was excruciating to think about leaving you in pain. He shook his head "I’m going to her place," he murmured, already walking past Tommy.
He couldn't bear the thought of you being hurt and feeling abandoned. Tommy understood his brother's pain but also recognized that this might not be the best time to confront you, especially if you were still reeling from the heartbreak.
"Joel, I get it, but you need to be cautious," Tommy advised as he followed Joel to the door. "Let her have some time to herself. She needs to process what happened, and then you can talk."
Joel turned to Tommy; his eyes filled with desperation. "I can't just leave her like this, Tommy. I need to make this right."
"You should have seen her face” he murmured; his voice heavy with regret.
“Listen, I can call Lily and ask about Bee, okay?” Tommy said.
Joel offered a small nod in response, his thoughts consumed by the image of your heartbroken face. As Tommy made the call to Lily, Joel's mind raced with remorse, knowing he had caused you pain.
after a brief conversation with Tommy, and turned to Joel. "She's with Connell. It seems like that's where she went last night."
Joel felt a pang in his chest, knowing that you had sought solace with Connell. He couldn't help but wonder how you had ended up there and what you might be telling Connell about what happened.

As the morning sun began to filter through Connell's windows, you found yourself sitting in his cozy living room. On the previous night, your birthday had ended badly, but Connell's presence had provided you with some sense of comfort.
Connell, always thoughtful and caring when it came to you, had made you a cup of tea, which you held in your hands as you stared out the window. The silence between you two was comfortable as if words were unnecessary.
After a while, Connell cleared his throat and said, " I’m not sure what happened last night but I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what."
You turned to him, your eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Connell”, you gave him a small smile.
Connell nodded in understanding. Then, he reached behind him and held a small gift-wrapped box out to you. “I got you a little something for your birthday. I hope it brings a smile to your face."
You accepted the gift with a warm smile, feeling grateful for Connell's existence. Unwrapping it carefully, you discovered a beautiful, handcrafted necklace inside. It was an elegant piece of jewel with a delicate design.
"It's stunning," you whispered.
Connell chuckled softly. "You used to love unique and handmade jewelry, so I thought this might be something you'd like. I bought it in London a few years ago."
As you held the necklace in your hands, you felt a surge of emotion. Connell's kind gesture and the beauty of the necklace warmed your heart and provided a much-needed distraction from the turmoil of the previous night. You thanked him sincerely, realizing that you were fortunate to have him who genuinely cared about you.
Memories of your past relationship with Connell rushed back to you. There was a time when you and Connell had been a strong team, and those feelings and connection you had shared, and it had been an important part of your life. But that had changed, and you had moved on.
As you sat there with Connell, the temptation to lean in and kiss him was strong, but it was Joel's face and his presence that you couldn't forget. You knew that, deep down, your heart belonged to him.
With a heavy heart, you offered a grateful smile to Connell and thanked him once again for his kind gesture.
"Connell, thanks for your gift” you said, offering a sincere smile. "But I also wanted to talk to you about something important."
Connell nodded; his blue eyes focused on you. "Of course, What's on your mind?"
You took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "This job in London…
Connell leaned back in his chair, looking at you attentively.
You took a moment to gather your thoughts before asking, "Connell, have you made a decision about that job?"
Connell sighed and leaned in closer, his voice low and sincere. "I have decided to go and I know I asked you to come with me, but you and Joel- “
“I’ll go with you” you said.
Connell's eyes widened with surprise, “Are you sure about this? It's a big step, and I don't want you to feel rushed or pressured into it just because you’re hurt.”
You met Connell's gaze. "Connell, this isn't just about being hurt; but about an opportunity to start a fresh life. I want to be with you in London."
Connell's surprise gave way to a warm, grateful smile. He squeezed your hand gently and leaned in closer. " I can't express how happy that makes me. We're going to have a wonderful time in London, I promise."
Connell pulled you into a warm embrace, your heart should have been soaring with joy, but a shadow of doubt crept in. At that moment, with his arms wrapped around you and your future looking bright, you couldn't help but think about Joel.
Joel, who had broken your heart. Joel, with whom you had shared an intimate connection that you could never forget. Despite your determination to start fresh, the memories of your time with Joel, the emotions you had felt, and the connection you shared with him echoed in your mind.
Connell pulled back slightly, his eyes searching yours. "Are you sure about this? I don't want you to have any doubts."
You forced a smile, feeling a sense of guilt for letting your thoughts wander. "I'm sure, Connell. Let's make this move and embrace our future together."

A week later, after the painful night with you, Joel was in the gallery, his heart heavy with regret as he finished the final details of his upcoming exhibition. The art pieces were carefully arranged, the lighting adjusted, and he scrutinized every corner, but it was a task that felt empty without you by his side.
He knew, deep down, that you wouldn't be there for the exhibition. The absence of your presence was like a void in the room, and the pain of knowing he had pushed you away was a constant ache in his chest.
No flowers from you this time, not the sound of your laugh echoing through the halls and he felt he was dying inside.
In the midst of his preparations, Lauren was in the gallery with him. He told her you and him had broken up and it seemed like she was trying to comfort him somehow as she took advantage of Sarah as “something” they had in common. Her presence was a reminder of the choices he had made, and it infuriated him. Joel couldn't help but glance out of the gallery window toward your flower shop. It was a habit, one that he couldn't seem to break, even though he knew it was over between you two.
It wasn’t real, he thought, but for him and you it became the most adventurous story of love.
"Why is she gifting flowers today?" Joel asked, unable to keep the curiosity from his voice as he saw a group of people gathered outside your shop.
Lauren turned her gaze to the window, following his line of sight. She sighed softly and said, "You don't know?"
Joel shook his head. "What should I know?"
"I think she's selling the place," Lauren explained. Her tone was gentle, and she appeared concerned about the situation.
Joel's brow furrowed as he processed the information. Your flower shop, a place that had meant so much to you, was being sold. The weight of the recent events pressed down on him even more. It was yet another consequence of his actions, and he couldn't help but wonder if this was yet another step in the direction of erasing him from your life.
"Can you excuse me for a second?" he told Lauren, deciding he was going to confront you.
As he left the gallery, Joel's steps were determined, and his thoughts were a mess of remorse, regret, and a glimmer of hope. He knew he had to speak with you, to clear the air, even though he wasn't sure where your conversation might lead.
Joel's heart raced as he approached your flower shop. The sight of it, now decorated with flowers, brought back memories of the moments he had spent there with you. He took a deep breath and pushed open the door, his eyes scanning the interior for a sign of your presence.
"Is it true?" Joel's voice, which had been silent for a week, sent shivers down your spine, memories of his touch still fresh on your skin.
"What's true?" you asked without looking at him.
"That you're selling your shop?"
You nodded, unable to meet his searching gaze.
"Is it because of me?"
"Joel, please," you pleaded, your voice edged with a mix of frustration and pain. "Just let it go."
"Please, just answer me," he implored.
"No," you replied, the weight of your decision heavy in the air. "It's not because of you. I just need a fresh start."
He countered, his voice filled with doubt, "And you think moving to another part of town will give you that?"
"I'm not moving to another part of town," you said, your voice unsteady.
"What do you mean?"
You took a deep breath, and your gaze met his, knowing this would be the final blow. "I'm leaving."
Joel's heart sank, a heaviness that seemed insurmountable. He didn't want to hear the rest, but you continued.
"I'm leaving to London with Connell."
"No—"
"No, Joel, you can't," you replied firmly “You can't come here and tell me what I should do. You have no right."
His frustration was rising, "You're escaping. Can you be more childish?"
Joel's world crumbled around him. The woman he was in love with, the one who had brought color and life back into his existence, was leaving. And worse, she was leaving for London with her ex-boyfriend.
You chuckled bitterly, the pain in your heart mingling with your exasperation. "Goodbye, Joel." You said, signaling the door.
"Bee! Listen to me!" He shouted.
But you were done listening. The years of mixed emotions, the moments of joy and confusion, had finally boiled over. You had made your decision, and you couldn't bear to keep going in circles with him.
"You were my biggest disappointment, Joel."
With those words, you turned away from him and walked behind the counter door, leaving Joel standing there, with a heavy heart.
At that moment, Joel realized the depth of his mistakes and the price he had paid for being an idiot. He felt a burning need to make things right, but it was already too late. Your departure for London with Connell was the beginning of a chapter in your life that he could no longer be a part of.
With a heavy heart, Joel turned away from the flower shop and walked back to the gallery, his steps heavy with the weight of what he had lost.
And you were left there crying while losing the grip of the hand of the man you felt you would be getting over your whole life.
