Two liars are about to kiss
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
F2l
Fake dating?
Warnings: cussing, smut. (I'm too tired to add detailed warningsbut the is the basic)
18+ MDNI
Wc. 4k
A/n: just a quickie, I don't think this is as good as I want it to be so yeah whatever.
....
"Be my girlfriend " jungkook spits out sharply. You snap your head so quick you might've snapped it.
"What the fuck jungkook " you knit your brows so tight they might touch.
" y/n relax" jungkook rolls his eyes at your reaction. "You're being dramatic"
You pull back "dramatic? You literally asked me to be your girlfriend just before going into your parents' house."
"Y/n are you going to be my girlfriend or not" there's no warmth in his words as it should be when you're asking someone to be your partner.
You lean back against the car seat and think. You know jungkook and he's not asking you you be his girlfriend cause he loves you, he's doing it cause he did something.
"Did you lie to your parents that you have a girlfriend?" You can feel the laugh build up in your throat. And by his embarrassed face you know you're right.
He's face grows even more embarrassed when you laugh.
"Why the fuck would you do that" you say through a laugh and he's not feeling it.
"Y/n stop" the embarrassment embeds itself in his throat.
You shrug your shoulders giving in to his plea for mercy.
"My mom was bugging me about it so I'm just doing this so shut her up" he finally meets your eyes and you can see he's being genuine. You kinda feel bad for laughing now. No you don't.
"It's just for the weekend though. Then later in we can just lie that we broke up and by the next time I see her maybe I'd have a girlfriend " he looks at your face and he can't determine if you're pitying him or feeling sad.
"What's wrong?" He says. You didn't even realise that your face had fallen.
"No. Nothing " you smile. "The thing is will they believe. We've been friends for a long time I doubt they would believe"
"Don't worry about that. My mom has always suspected we liked each other anyways" he mumbles out like it's nothing.
"Ew" you turn to look out the window.
You don't see it but you can feel jungkook stare at you.
"What do you mean ew "
You open the car door. " I mean EW I could never like you" you blunt out. "Now let's go in boyfriend " it feels weird saying that to jungkook, but it doesn't mean anything so it doesn't matter.
You shut the door and jungkook watches you walk to the door to his parent's front door. He snaps out of watching you when you turn to call him over with a face feigning anger.
He smiles before locking the car.
He knows you've agreed to help him but he still doesn't know how you feel about it. Does it bother you?
You flinch when you feel jungkook's hand on your lower.
"Ready babe?"
"Ready" you smile hoping your artificial blush is hiding the real one.
....
"I knew you two would start dating eventually " jungkook's mother says across the dinner table.
Jungkook cringes feeling the awkward conversation coming up. You cringe at the sad fact that all of this is a ruse and she seems so happy about it.
"Keep this between the two of us y/n" she whispers to you but every could hear "I preferred you over all of his other girlfriends. I was just waiting for him to grow a pair and ask you out"
"You're such a beautiful girl y/n, can't wait till you're Mrs Jeon too" she giggles out.
"Mom" jungkook calls out. "Too fast"
"Whatever, just marry her" jungkook groans when she says that.
"Mrs jeon I appreciate the compliment and the wonderful food. But I think I'm going to head to bed now"
She stops you when you try and take the dishes.
"I'll deal with that. you and jungkook should just go settle down in his bedroom"
You feel bad for letting her do the dishes but she insisted. You nod and walk to the bedroom.
Jungkook turns to his mom "please take it easy with y/n"
She looks at him with a smirk as if she doesn't know what he's talking about.
"It's her first relationship" he adds.  He knows it must be weird for you pretending to be in a relationship when you've never been in one.
You've caught yourself in flings and situationships but they've never made the relationship official so you just gave up. You've always wanted to be in a relationship,  be a girlfriend and eventually a wife, but people in this age are never into that. So you've sat waiting to find someone who wants what you want and sometimes you're jealous of how jungkook wants to be in a relationship but he says he hasn't found or can't find the right girl.
So you're both just chilling waiting for your perfect matches.
"You're sleeping on the floor right?" You ask him when he walked into the room.
"Yeah" he says and you immediately through a duvet on the carpet next to the bed.
"Damn. You don't want to share a bed that bad?" He whines.
"We've never shared a bed here. And plus you always say you'd take the floor"
All the times you and jungkook have visited his parents he's always taken the floor and you the bed. It's normal but now it's different cause you're "Dating" so you wonder if it'd be weird to not share a bed. You don't want to ask him though, don't want to seem like you want to share a bed with him.
"Don't you think it'd be weird if we don't share a bed?" Jungkook asks and you're glad it's coming from his mouth.
"I don't know maybe?" You say wanting to be nonchalant.
"I think we should share the bed" he dips the bed multiple time to check if it's still springy, it would've been a normal act if he was doing that without looking at you like a lion about to strike.
His gaze makes you heat up and glance at all things in the room apart form jungkook. But eventually your eyes meet and he's grinning.  He's fucking with you.
"You can just take the bed if you want it so bad" your words come out a little sharp cause of how flustered you are.
You walk over to the little set up on the floor and lay there.
"Yes I want the bed but I want it with you" he rushes out before thinking, he stutters after catching what he's just said.
"I don't mean it like that, I mean I think we should share the bed or my I'm will think something's up"
You get what he's saying but after what he's from blubbering out you're afraid sharing a bed would cross a boundary.
"I think we'll be fine she won't see us. It's not like she'll just walk in" you turn your body to face away from jungkook as you get comfortable on the floor.
"You didn't have to sleep on the floor you know" he says laying on the bed staring  at the ceiling.
"I'm fine like this" you say and the room goes silent.
You almost fall asleep but then you hear the door open and outside light come in. You think it's jungkook until you hear his mother's voice.
"I thought you guys would need some more blanke-"
"Mom!" Jungkook calls out and you sit up.
"Why are you two sleeping separately, the bed is big enough" she asks. "Did what I say offend you y/n"
"No no Mrs jeon, I just-" You're cut off by her angry voice.
"Did jungkook do something? " she shoots daggers at him.
"No, he didn't"
"Cause if he did I'm going to deal with him"
"Mom I didn't do anything " he defends himself.
You chuckle a bit.
"I'm talking to y/n, not you jungkook " your laughter drops to seriousness when she turns to you.
"What did he do?"
"He didn't do anything Mrs jeon, I promise " jungkook can hear the smile in your voice and you can see him roll his eyes.
"If he didn't then why are you sleeping separately"
You and jungkook both stummer with your words not knowing what do tell her.
"Jungkook is too hot" you spit and regret how it sounds. Jungkook looks at you like 'is that the best you could come up with,  but thank you :) "
You roll your eyes.
"He radiates off alot of body heat, I've been telling him to go see a doctor" you lie. Jungkook's mouth hangs open at your ability to lie to his mother face.
She nods.
"I understand.  But you should've let himsleep on the floor instead"
"I know but I just felt bad about keeping him from his childhood bed" you pout.
Jungkook can't fathom how you're able to lie right now.
"Okay then I'll leave these here. Have a good night " she says and walks out. You assume it worked cause she doesn't fuss over it.
The room is silent until jungkook speaks.
"You're such a liar "
"Would  you have preferred me saying the truth?"
He chuckles.
"So we're sharing the bed from now on? "
"Yep" you say and move to the bed where jungkook makes room for you. You're only doing this so you don't let out the secret.
"No touching" you warn him with a finger up.
"Wasn't planning on it"
He sure wasn't planning on it but he never said he didn't think of it.
...
It's 5am and you're awake. Not by your own will but by the fact the you woke up to jungkook's arm around you and you felt so comfortable.  He's hold felt so warm and comfortable, it shouldn't have. You're crossing a boundary and what makes it worse is how comfortable it feels to cross that boundary.
Bymthe time you're done getting ready for the day it's 7 am, jungkook is still asleep and his mom's making breakfast so you go downstairs to help.
You're helping her and chatting when jungkook walks into the kitchen. You don't know where his shirt has disappeared to but its gone. You watch from the corner of your eye as he walks towards,  you think he's going to walk by you until he's by your ear.
"Play along " he whispers and you're taken aback when he kisses your cheek.
"Morning baby" he says and that name numbs your tongue and you can only muster to spit out a whisper
"Morning" your stomach is in shambles. He has his hand on your back.
"Morning mom" he says still rubbing your back and causing you butterflies.
"Goodmorning" she says to him grinning at him. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah but i woke up alllll alone " he glances over to you and you roll your eyes and look away.
"That's a shame" you say sarcastically.
"Yeah it is" he shots back
His mother takes the breakfast to the dining room, leaving you and jungkook.
You think he'd let go of you and move away but he only gets closer.
"Smells good" he mumbles out.
"Oh yeah I think it's the spices " you try and keep your calm and not show him how much he's affecting. You're human and at the end of the day its hard not to react when someone is this close to you, whether it's jungkook or not.
"I wasn't talking about the food " he says by your ear and the chills run across your skin. "I was talking about you." His voice lowered plus the closeness is a killer combo.
"What do you use? I've always wanted to tell you how much I like how you smell"
"Uhhh" you move away pretending to be looking for something. "It's just some cheap perfume"
"Well it smells good" he goes back to his normal tone. He knows he's got you by the tongue so he smiles.
You just awkwardly chuckle.
"Jungkook leave y/n alone for now, she's helping with with breakfast" his mother walks in.
Jungkook raises his hands in surrender. " I'm not doing anything"
"Your father is already in the dining room go join him and have breakfast " she kicks him out. But before he leaves he gives you one last look. A look you can't decipher the meaning,  it almost feels flirtatious. No, you're just in your head. He's just playing a role, jungkook wouldn't flirt with you for real.
While sat next to jungkook when eating breakfast you can barely hear what he's saying cause you're still thinking of what happend in the kitchen,  you still have the butterflies.  And jungkook's hand on your thighs doesn't help settle them.
You feel him squeeze your thighs and it brings you to reality.
"Are you okay?" He whispers for only you and you just hum.
"Yeah I'm fine" you don't seem fine.
"Am I doing too much. Can you not handle me?" He smirks.
You scoff " You're not doing too much and I can handle you"
Jungkoook raises a brow. "can you?"
You nod.
"We'll see about that" he says.
Is that a challenge? You know know jungkook loves those.
He takes his hand off your thighs and your smile drops(unintentionally) from the loss of his touch.  But atleast you can eat without choking with every swallow.
You and jungkook haven't spoken much today, cause you and his mother have been out doing errands. Right now you're at the market picking some vegetables for dinner tonight.
"What made you say yes to jungkook" you almost didn't hear her over how hard you were gawking at the fruits.
"What do you like about him" she repeats noticing your distant gaze.
"Uhh" you find it hard to find your words. As a friend you know why you like jungkook.  He's funny, he's a great listener, he's kind, he knows how to handle you ( you mean your personality)
But as a boyfriend you have no idea what you like about him. He's not even your real boyfriend.
Plus isn't what you like about him as a friend the same thing as a boyfriend.
"He's caring,  he knows how to listen, he understands my humour" you say to and lose yourself in the thought of jungkook and he's mother can see that. It honestly makes her smile to see someone so in love with her son and to see the person her son is in love with.
If only she knew you guys were only friends,  what would she say.
"I also like how we get along and how he makes me laugh and how he handles my personality.  I like that alot" you smile and immediately catch yourself.  You seriously can't be smiling at the thought of jungkook. You've realised you've never actually thought of why jungkook is your closest friend and why you run to him for almost everything that happens in your life.
Anytime someone  breaks your heart you go to jungkook for comfort. Anytime you're stressed, you call jungkook.
You think about maybe that's why he can't find a girlfriend cause you're always calling him. Jungkook is such a good  looking guy you don't think it's that hard for him to find a girl who he can get along with. Maybe you're a pussy blocker. Shit have you been keeping jungkook from finding a girlfriend?
Cause he just says he can't find a girlfriend but you've never seen him actually put in the effort except with one.
You remember one time trying to push him to download a dating app, he did but next time you checked he hadn't even logged in and later he deleted.  You didn't want to ask or bother him about him so you left it.
"I just wanna focus on you right now, you need me and I need to take care of you" is what he told you one night when you came crying cause of your first situationships that had torn you into shreds. You couldn't remember those words after that until now, cause that day you were in shambles and couldn't hear a thing.
"Jungkook told me the same about you " her words break you out of your thoughts. What did jungkook tell her about you. " He also told me how he loves how you complete him. He feels incomplete without you"
Did he really tell her that. If it's true this might get complicated.  Cause you can barely say what you feel. This was a huge mistake, you're fucking things up. If he told her that, does he feel the same or did he just say it to play the role. He was just playing the role, but that wouldn't make you feel any better.
"He really loves you, I can tell" she adds and you sigh.
This is going to be so fuckung awkward when you 'break up'
" I have everything i need, we should head home now." She says and and you just follow her.
In the way home you've just been thinking about whether jungkook could actually like you or this is just an act for him. If it is, he's really good at it. And it's really confusing you.
You settle the bags down onto the counter and as you do you feel arms wrap around you waist.
"How was it" his low voice speaks on your neck
"Huh?" You say barely able to focus on words with the way his hands are rubbing up and down your hips. This feels to natural,  too domestic.
"How was shopping with my mom" he kisses your shoulder and you can't bring yourself to stop him.
"It was fun, I enjoyed going out with her" his nose runs up and down your neck. Jungkook can see your chest rise and fall and it encourages him to continue.
"We talked about you " you tell him.
"Oh? What did you say about me?"
"Jungkook" you gasp when he turns you around to face him.
You look into his eyes and they stare back at you, with desire and  determination to show you you can't handle jungkook.
"I missed you" he spits out and you narrow your eyes. You don't know whether he's saying it as a friend or a fake boyfriend.
"Why you looking at me like that" he moves his face closer to yours. "Can't I miss my friend or girlfriend "
Now it's frustrating you. All the emotions and feelings.
It's whilst you're having your thoughts that jungkook takes you by surprise and kisses you. His lips linger on yours for a few seconds before you pull away. if you were afraid of crossing a boundary you should be petrified by now.
"I need  to get changed" you move away from him and jungkook can feel the shift in the air. He's confused he thought this would work and make you warm up to the idea of actually being with him
But he guesses he came on too strong and now he's pushed you away.
During dinner you were low and didn't speak much, your silence even rendered a concerned look on jungkook's dad's face, who you haven't spoken to much this weekend.
After dinner you went straight to lay in bed and just stared at your phone.  You can barely do anything apart from think about what's going in with you and Jungkook.
"Hey" you hear jungkook's sorrowful voice speak.
"Hey" you reply just as sorrowful and sit up with the blanket over your legs.
Jungkook stands by the door with his hands in his sweats, he contemplates whether he should talk about what's on his mind. But if he wants this weekend to end the way he wants it to then he should talk about it.
"Are you okay?" You ask him watching his far away gaze.
"Y/n what's wrong? " he asks instead of answering your question.
"What do you mean? " You shuffle in your seat.
"You haven't been okay since-" he stares out the hallway for anyone and close the door. "-ever since what happened in the kitchen"
Jungkook slowly walks to the edge of the bed.
"Is it because of this fake dating thing,  did I make you make you uncomfortable? "
You shake your head. "Not it's not that, I fully accepted this fake dating thing "
"Then what's wrong,  I can't take you ignoring me" he says the last part almost pleading.
It's time to get it off your chest then.
"I just can't tell if your doing this, the kisses, the touches , the pet names. For show. It's really confusing and I don't even know why I think otherwise." You sigh "we should've honestly talked about boundaries before we did this."
Jungkook agrees that boundaries should've been talked about,  but he doesn't want boundaries. That wasn't his plan.
"Jungkook can you tell me something?" Jungkook hums to let you know to ask him what's on your mind. "Am I the reason that you haven't gotten a girlfriend, cause I know you and lia would've probably been married now if-" you can't finish your statement but he knows what you're trying to say " Am I a hinder to any your relationships "
You're not a hinder cause he only wants you.
"Y/n don't call yourself that" he moves closer to you. "Lia and I didn't work out and it wasn't your fault." He has his hand rubbing on your knee to comfort you.
You sigh and feel the tears coming.
"No no y/n. Don't" his hand cups your cheek and you start to sob.
"I think I fucked this up. I think I like you more than a friend" You mumble and you're shocked you had the guts to tell him. "I'm sorry I've probably fucked up our friendsh--" your shut up with Jungkook's warm lips on yours.
"You haven't fucked up anything.  I'm the one who did., I  should've just told you that I liked you instead of using lies to swoon you over " his thump wipes away a single tear on you.
"I'm sorry for putting you in this situation, i- " this time it's you who shuts him up with a kiss.
Jungkook relaxes into the kiss.
"Wait" jungkook pulls away "are a okay with th-"
"Jungkook please just kiss me, no more talking" your lips meet again and this time jungkook takes full lead.
Your head lands softly on the pillow as he hovers over you, taking every move to move deeper into the kiss.
Carefully your hand moves to his neck and then into his long hair.
The kiss feels like a long awaited quest that has been completed but that has also began a new quest. It's like something that you've been waiting for and now that you have his lips against yours something in you feels completed. Satisfied.
You feel lost and at peace in this,  his breathy kiss, his body between your thighs, his large left hand under your shirt searching for treasure and right hand stroking the back of your neck. His thump lifts your head up for a better angle to deepen the kiss.
You both can barely breath but jungkook couldn't care less, he wants to feel you, each and every part of you, he wants to find a part of you in this kiss. Jungkook knows you well, you were friends before this after all. But there just some things you can only find out whilst kissing.
Jungkook grunts when he feels you tug at his shirt.
So you're the eager kind, he smiles. He ,over away to take of his shirt and you both take the time to catch your breaths. You admire jungkook's toned torso and his inked arm, you've seen him shirtless before but seeing him under this light feels different,  it feels hot.
"your turn" he says and watches your boobs spills out as you take off your pajama top.
"Fuck. You're so beautiful " your stomach clenches at his words.
He doesn't waste anytime and has his lips around your nipple. You moan at the wetness of his tongue.
While his other hand massage you , he uses the other to move into you panties.
Your breath hitches at the cold sensation of his fingers.
Your hips grind in rhythm with jungkook's fingers. You can barely keep your mind or body straight as the sensations travel through your body, your back arches as you gasp in air.
"You're so pretty baby" he whispers and watches you squirm. "So fucking pretty" he follows your lips until he captures them and has you gasp into his mouth. You take in eachother's breaths. You can feel yourself melting against jungkook's fingers.
He adds pressure and you whimper.
"Jungkook " you whine out and he already knows "fuck I'm  going to..." you trial your sentence off with a moan.
You're almost close when you suddenly lose the sensation.
"What the heck " You're about to cuss him out when he speaks.
" I want you around me first " he leaves a peck on your lips.
Soon the sensation is back as he bucks his hips back and forth.
You can feel yourself getting pushed over the edge with each stroke.
"Please jungkook " you whine and he knows what you're pleading for.
"I got you baby" he whispers by your ear.
Soon you can feel the strong intense pleasure wash over you, you call out jungkook's name at your end.
Soon he follows after you in his release.
Jungkook peppers kisses down your neck, not ready to move away from you.  You keep your hands rubbing his back.
"Can you be my girlfriend.  Like for real this time" he asks against your neck.
" I'd prefer if you asked me when we're not from just having sex" you chuckle and he hums out agreeing.
"Then I'll take you on a date, and swoon you over with my charm."
You laugh at his cockiness.
"What about your parents?" You ask.
Jungkook shoots his head up from you, which takes you by surprise.
"My parents? Do you think they heard us?"
Your jaw drops to the floor.
" We were pretty loud they must've heard us"
"Jungkook oh my gosh,  this is so embarrassing." You cover you face "how am I going going face them tomorrow "
Jungkook watches you blush embarrassed and chuckles.
"Atleast we dont have to lie anymore"

Parenthood — Miguel O'Hara x Reader
I love putting this man in situations.
Content: You kidnap a wombat and force Miguel to play house with you.
fluff, idiots in love, mutual pining.
Tumblr media
"You brought a living wombat into my office." Miguel notes bluntly, staring at you dead in the eyes with an unreadable expression as his slow-moving platform lowers.
"I wanted you to see it." You retort, shooting him a playful smile as you put the heavy creature on the floor, trying not to cringe at the pain on your back from carrying it. You crouch down next to it, petting it like it was a domestic pet, and it lets you.
"You could have sent a picture." Miguel sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose as he mutters in Spanish, not knowing what to make of the situation. Why was it always up to him to handle all this nonsense? He deals with timelines and the multiverse, what the hell does he know about wombats?
"Why on earth did you think you should bring this to my office?" He asks, jumping down from the platform and staring down at you and the not-so-tiny creature, hands on his hips.
"He was so miserable at the zoo! Now he's smiling and laughing— well, not really, but you get what I mean. He looks happier." You retort, looking up at Miguel to give him a sheepish grin.
"You're telling me you kidnapped a wombat just for this?" He looks between you and the wombat, who is now chasing you around. He's... both impressed and amused now. Impressed because you actually managed to do something like that, and amused because you would do something like that.
"What's his name?" He internally punches himself for falling for the bait. He knows he should have sent you away, maybe even have you arrested for stealing a zoo animal, but... you kidnapped the animal to show it to him, and it's playing with you, looking happy. It's... kind of endearing.
"I was thinking about naming him Miguel O'Hara." You answer teasingly as you lay down on the floor of his office, allowing the wombat to climb on top of you as your hands cover your face, feeling its tiny and gentle scratches on them.
"No— that's my name." Miguel says. This is adorable in the most unhinged sort of way, and he can't help but ignore the way the corners of his mouth tilt up slightly.
"Fine, then he'll be... Miggy." You poke your tongue out at him, sitting up as the wombat stays on your lap, being surprisingly calm. You made him tired by running around and letting it chase you.
"You call me that." He answered with a raised eyebrow, glancing between the wombat and you. He can feel his brain leaking out of his ears.
"Are you too selfish to share a nickname with a wombat?" You grin up at him, enjoying teasing him, just like every single time you're together. His reactions are the best, and he's so funny without even realizing, like a grumpy cat.
Miguel simply rolls his eyes, walking over and crouching down in front of you. He stares at you dead in the eye before disengaging his suit on his hand, reaching down to gently pet the wombat. His hands easily dwarfing the head of the animal, yet he's surprisingly gentle.
"Tell you what— this is my child, I'm its mother, and you'll be the father." Yes, you're trying to play house with the damn animal and Miguel. No, Miguel will not stop you, despite the way he rolls his eyes.
"I didn't sign up for this." He replies, yet he keeps petting the animal, scratching behind its ear. This girl could probably kidnap an entire herd of these if she so pleased... and he'd probably join in on it.
"You're insane." He tells her casually, though his words lack the usual bite they carry. "Actually insane." He loves her.
"You still have a huge crush on me, though." You retort teasingly, ignoring the way he's blankly staring at you, burning a hole through your head. He's probably making your head explode in his imagination.
"I don't." Miguel is a horrible liar and he knows it, yet that doesn't mean he won't defend himself against your horrible— but true accusations.
"You totally do." Your smug tone only makes things worse, forcing Miguel to try his best not to roll his eyes so far he could see his own brain. He simply sighs, ignoring you as he starts petting the wombat's tummy.
"Don't speak when I'm petting the baby. Cállate." It seems Miguel is getting a chance at parenthood with you, even when the "baby" is a 30kg marsupial. The thought of it makes the corners of his mouth slightly tilt up, looking down at the animal to hide it, yet you can still see it. The image of it puts a smile on your own face, yet this time, you keep quiet about it.

His Queen
Tumblr media
Summary: I made this because of a tumblr post about Sandor being with Joffrey's wife and they get together and he's soft with her and she has his baby. I don't recall the name of the post but I wrote something like that but with my own twist. Enjoy.
»»————- ♡ ————-««
You were visiting King's Landing when Sandor met you. At first he thought nothing of it, many highborns came to visit King's Landing all the time. He followed you and Joffrey around since he was Joffrey's guard. Sandor wouldn't forget the day when you came to King's Landing. You wore a gown showing your curves, hair was brushed and braided. He kept staring at the yellow ribbon you had tied around your hair as he followed behind.  Sandor knew you were different from the rest who visited King's Landing. You were sweet to everyone, to the servants and to the people. He had even caught you visiting the orphanage and to the sept.
Sandor had seen women throw themselves to the blonde king but for the first time Joffrey was throwing himself at you. Few days later, King Joffrey asked for your hand in marriage. His mother was overjoyed that her son was marrying you, the princess of a wealthy king from beyond west of Westeros. Sandor wondered if everyone from west of Westeros was nice like you.
You gave everyone a smile, even to him. Sandor couldn't help but stare at you when Joffrey introduced you to him.
"He's my dog." Joffrey told you. Sandor saw your pretty face frown as you tilted your head to the side.
"What?" You asked, looking between Joffrey and Sandor.
"My princess, he's my dog. Sandor Clegane. My loyal dog." Joffrey said with a chuckle. You didn't chuckle or even laugh.
Joffrey was about to say something when Mery Trant came and asked for a moment with him. The king excused himself and walked away leaving Sandor with you alone.
Sandor watched as you looked over your shoulder at Joffrey then looked back at him with a smile.
"I do hope you'll be loyal to me as well, Sandor." You said, making him nod.
"Aye, you are to be my queen and I'll be your loyal dog." He told you emphasizing the word, dog just like Joffrey did.
"You know." You told him as you walked closer to him, looking up at him as you held your hands in front of you.
"I adore dogs but you, Sandor Clegane, aren't one." Sandor looked away from your gaze and stared down at the cobblestone. You looked at him with no fear or disgust. He didn't know how to feel about it.
"Shall we?" He heard Joffrey ask when he came back. Sandor looked ahead when you walked away leaving him behind. He saw you and Joffrey sharing a laugh as he offered you his arm to hold on.
It wasn't long before the wedding was held. It was the biggest wedding ever held in Westeros since the people of King's Landing liked their soon to be queen. Sandor had to admit you were a people person. You actually helped the people in your time in King's Landing. You reminded him of Margaery Tyrell, he hoped you didn't end up like her though. The girl was Joffrey's first wife but was poisoned on the day of their wedding feast.
They never found out who did it. It was a mystery to most, not to him though. Sandor knew who did it. Margaery got into Cersei, Joffrey's mother's bad side.
A month after the wedding, Joffrey had to leave King's Landing to deal with another house that required his presence. You had asked Joffrey to leave Sandor with you. You had batted your eyelashes at him and gave him a kiss when he accepted.
"Well, if my queen asks for the dog then so be it." Joffrey said.
Sandor was in disbelief when Joffrey had told him to stay behind and look after you.
"Keep a close eye on the queen, dog. I don't want anyone near her while I'm gone." Joffrey told him before leaving King's Landing. Sandor walked back inside the castle and was told you were in your room getting ready for supper.
Sandor made his way to your chambers. He can hear light chattering from the outside. He looked inside and saw you were standing in the middle of the room as your handmaidens surrounded you. You held your arms out as they did the last finishing touches of your dress and put on your accessories. With one hand you held a scroll, reading it silently as one of them slid the golden rings on your fingers on the other hand.
He didn't say anything, he didn't have to because you felt him staring. You looked towards the doorway and gave him a smile. He doesn't think he'll ever get over the sight of you smiling at him. It was a genuine smile you gave him, it had to be because no one ever smiled at him.
"I'll be having supper in the gardens today. Set a plate for Sandor. He'll be joining me." You told one of your maids as you walked away to put the scroll down.
"Leave us." You commanded the rest, Sandor moved out of the doorway for the flock of women leaving your chambers. He ignored the looks that the women gave him as they left him alone with you.
"Come in and shut the door." You told Sandor. He obeyed and walked inside, shutting the door behind him. He watched as you opened the door of the balcony. For the first time the smell of shit was gone and fresh air came breezing in the room. It was one of the things you got rid of, the waste.
"Joffrey was nicely enough to give you to me during his absence." You said walking to the small table of beverages. You grabbed a pitcher of wine and poured it into a goblet.
"Aye. I'm here to protect you. To look after you." He told you as you walked towards him with two goblets of wine. You passed him one.
"Why?" He asked, looking down at you. He wanted to know why Joffrey left him to care for you. He was Joffrey’s guard not yours.
"What do you mean? Why?" You asked, taking a sip of the wine.
When Sandor didn't respond, you gently pushed the goblet towards his mouth. "Drink." You told him and he did, he wasn't going to say no to fancy wine.
Later that day, Sandor sat across from you during supper. He had to admit, supper was good. You had told the cook to make chicken, roasted potatoes and vegetables. Bread was served along with different types of cheeses. Sandor ate his chicken as you ate different types of berries with cheese. Light conversations were made and while the wine was kept serving to him and you. Sandor was in a good mood. He even made a few jokes, earning a few hearty laughs from you.
"Was supper to your liking?" You asked Sandor. After supper, he was escorting you back to your chambers. You walked next to him instead of in front of him, Sandor had noticed it a while back. You never walked in front of him whenever he was with you alone. You liked being next to him. You had even grabbed onto his arm while walking at one point.
"Aye, never thought I would eat with the queen." Sandor said, making you chuckle.
"We should make it a regular thing when Joffrey isn't here." You told as you side-eye him.
"When he comes back, he will have you all to himself. I'll be sad because we won't spend time together." Sandor stops in mid step at your words. You had stopped as well when you noticed Sandor wasn't walking next to you. You turned around to see him staring at you.
"It's true. I only see my husband during the morning then when eating then late at night when he is done torturing his whores." Sandor felt his mouth go dry.
"I know about it." He let out a deep breath. "I'm not stupid, Sandor." He knows that now, you aren't dumb as Joffrey likes to think.
You walked closer to Sandor, you were so close to him that he could smell the light scent of lavender soap still lingering on your skin. He could see every beauty mark on your face, every eyelash around your pretty eyes.
"Honestly, I don't give a shit. He can do whatever he wants. Joffrey has never hurt me like the whores but his words can be cruel." You told him as you looked at his white cloak hanging behind his back.
You saw the blood and dirt stains on the cloak, you reached forward to grab it. Feeling the fabric and the dried blood on it. You remember his words when he told you why he hadn't taken the knight's vows during supper.
"Be glad it's just words, my queen." Sandor told you softly.
Sandor knew what you meant. He never saw Joffrey lay a hand on you but he did hurt you with words. He would call you stupid for loving the ungrateful people of King's Landing. Joffrey would undermine you and intimidate you. Sandor can only imagine how Joffrey acts towards you when he wasn't there.
"Words can hurt, Sandor." You told him as you let go of his cloak and touched his chest, your fingers tracing the chest plate of his armor.
"Aye." Sandor agreed with you with a small nod. He knows all too well of it. He has grown immune to the cruel words said to him. Words like monster, ugly, evil, and dog.
"If I ask you something. Will you do it for me?" You asked him as you removed your hand from his chest.
"Anything." Sandor responded. "You won't tell anyone?"
 "Not a soul." He said.
"Come to my chambers tonight. Don't let anyone see you." You told him. You didn't wait for his response. You turned around and continued to walk. Sandor watched as you walked down the hall then entered into your chambers.
It was late at night when Sandor released the knight guarding the hallway.  Making sure the knight was out of his sight, Sandor walked towards your chambers. Sandor thought it was a joke when you told him to meet you at night. Perhaps you were waiting for him to come and laugh at his face.
He saw the door was slightly open, he slowly pushed the door open trying to not make a sound and looked inside. He saw you there, sitting on an armchair near the balcony. Candles were lit around you, providing you light as you held a book in your hand. Your hair was down and slightly wavy from the braid you wore earlier. His eyes widened at the red and golden robe you wore, it wasn't fully closed. He can see the valley between your breasts, that’s where a gold necklace laid.
He cleared his throat loudly making you look up from your book.
"You came." You said shutting the book.
"I did." Sandor said, walking inside and closing the door.
"The lock." You pointed up at the metal lock above the door. Sandor locked the door, giving it a pull to make sure it was properly locked and looked back at you.
"Do you read, Sandor?" You asked him as you placed the book next to you. He shook his head.
"Can you read?" Sandor nodded at you. "Aye, I spent a lot of time reading when I was younger."
"Why did you stop?" You asked.
"After I was burned I didn't want to go outside. So I just read to pass the time. As I got older I didn't give a shit anymore of what people would say about my appearance." Sandor said.
"Did you trip when you were young? How did it happen?" You asked as you got up from the couch. When Sandor didn't say anything you were about to walk towards him and ask for forgiveness when he spoke.
"My brother pushed me. I was playing with one of his toys. He thought I was stealing it but I was just playing with it. He got angry and held me down as he pushed my face against the fire." You stood still at his words. You clenched your hands in rage at his brother.
"It took three men to take him off of me." Sandor said softly while shaking his head as he remembered.
You have seen ser Gregor Clegane before and understood why he was called The Mountain. He was taller than Sandor. He frightens you especially with the stories you heard about him but Sandor didn't frighten you at all.
You walked closer to him looking up to his face as you stood in front of him.
There it was again, Sandor thought. You looked at him with no fear. He didn't understand the look you gave him. You had a look in your eyes that he had never seen before.
"What do you want, my queen?" Sandor asked. He wanted to know why you were being so nice to him and why you had taken such interest in him.
"I want you." Sandor's eyes widened at your answer. He was about to step back when you grabbed his hand. He looked down at your hands. Your hands were so different from his. Yours were small and smooth while his were large and covered with scars along with calluses.
"Is this some fucking joke?!" He hissed at you pulling his hand away.
"Why do you think it's a joke?" You asked him.
"Look at me!" He told you as his gaze at you darken.
"I'm a dog. A nobody." You frowned at his words.
"I want you, Sandor." You told him firmly trying to get a hold of his hand again.
Sandor shook his head and turned around to unlock the door but you stopped him. You quickly leaned against the door, pushing yourself in front of him.
"It's not a lie." When Sandor didn't say anything you continued to speak.
"Do you really think Joffrey wanted you to stayed? I asked him for you. I wanted you here, I wanted some time alone with you."
Sandor let out a deep breath. "Why do you think I asked you to come here tonight? I have been here for almost two months and I haven't met anyone like you before. Everyone sees you as a mean person and a killer but I don't. You are so much more."
"You don't know what you're talking about. You have been drinking too much wine." Sandor told you, trying to find any excuse to go away.
 "Really?!" You yelled at him.
"You know, I have learned that a certain person has been donating to the orphanage." Sandor looked away from you.
"They told me it was you." You said as you grabbed his arm.
"No knights have this before. Sandor is good but misunderstood." You repeated the words that the elderly keeper told you on your last visit to the orphanage.
"A few pieces of silver means nothing." Sandor mumbled to you.
"It means something especially to those children that have nothing." You told him.
Sandor didn't think anything of it. It is just a small amount that he donates. Sandor wasn't rich but he had money from being Joffrey's kingsguard. He didn't tell you that it was because of you that he donated.
He was there when you spoke to Joffrey and to the council about the orphanage. You didn't give up your cause even when Joffrey laughed at the thought of helping them but his council sided with you after your speech of helping them and giving them resources.
"Those children can grow up being something bigger. They can be knights, servants, blacksmiths, farmers and maesters." Sandor watched as you smiled when the council decided something will be done.
"I want you. The question is, do you want me as I want you?" Sandor finally looked at you.
He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to say. For the first time in his life a woman wanted him but you weren't just any woman, you were the queen.
"Do you find me pretty?" You asked Sandor as dread filled your stomach perhaps he didn't find you attractive. He quickly nodded his head.
"Beautiful." Sandor told you as you grabbed his hand.
"I think of your hands at night." You told Sandor, bringing his large hand up to your face.
"When I'm with him, all I think about is you." Sandor moved his hand to your face, cupping your cheek.
"Do you want me as I want you?" You asked him again.
"Only a fool will say no to you, my queen." Sandor responded.
"Call me Y/n." You told him as he rubbed his thumb against your cheek. You have been wondering for so long how his hands and mouth would feel on you.
"Y/n." He whispered your name. You pushed against him as you looked up at him. You smiled at him, it seems unreal. He was the first person in this kingdom to say your name.
 "Kiss me." You told him.
Sandor leaned down to kiss you. He kissed with caution at first pressing his lips against yours. You wanted more, you pulled him down to wrap your arms around his neck to get him closer to you. He kissed you again and you whined when he held on to your hips, his large hands gripping the robe you wore tight as you opened your mouth to him. You teased his tongue with yours, feeling giddy inside when you heard him whine in your mouth. You pulled away from his lips giving him a smile.
"I have been wanting to do that for a while." You whispered to him.
"You're crazy for wanting me." He told you, shaking his head.
"Aye, absolutely crazy for you." You grinned at him, making him laugh out of disbelief.
You looked down at your robe, you slowly untied the belt from your robe. Sandor held his breath as you took your robe off.
You stood in front of him naked. "Join me in bed." You told him, leaving him by the door. He looked over his shoulder as he saw you walking to the large bed. He stared at your bare ass and bare legs. He quickly followed you as he started to remove his armor.
Sandor has had sex before, he was no virgin. He always paid for a fuck. It was always for his pleasure only not really caring for the other but now he was feeling nervous, he wanted to make you feel good.
Sandor knew he was a big man with a big body. Sometimes the whores will be too anxious to be with him. He was nervous that you would reject him once you saw him naked.
Unknown to Sandor, you were practically salivating at the sight of his bare chest and arms. Sandor was toned and his upper body was covered with thick dark hairs. His shoulders were broad. His arms flexed when he threw his tunic over his shoulder as he walked towards the bed.
As he got closer to you, you touched his chest. He was warm and his chest hair was soft. You can feel the scars on his chest and stomach.  You felt him tense up when you touched his stomach. Playing with the hair of his happy trail for a moment before your hands continue going down.
"You're so big." You told him as you felt him through his trousers. Sandor stared down at you as you cupped his cock.
"Come here." He said before picking you up and dropping you on the bed. He pushed his pants off while getting on top of you. His lips attacked your neck, you let out a giggle as his beard tickled you.
"Sandor." You cried out as he kissed down to your chest. His large hand cupped your left breast squeezing it, his thumb rubbing your tit as he suckled on the right.
You spread your legs wider for his frame, Sandor was huge and you loved it. He hovered over you as he fondled your breasts. He gives a big lick on your hard nipple before looking at you.
You brought your hand to his face, tucking a strand of his brown hair over his ear.
"Let me taste this cunt?." He asks you as he brings his hand to your cunt. You nodded at him as his middle finger drags up and down your slit. He hums to himself when he notices you're wet dripping on sheets of the bed.
"Please." You cry to him when his finger hits your clit. Sandor was quick as he got further down to face your cunt.
You smell so good to him. His tongue licks on your slit as his nose rubs against your clit. He parts your puffy lips so he can tongue your sloppy hole.
"Sandor! Fuck!" You cry out as he eats you out then start to finger you while sucking your clit.
"Fucking tight." Sandor tells you as he looks at you. You were watching him as he played with your cunt. Two thick fingers rubbing the spongy spot inside of you, his thumb rubbing your clit. No one has ever made you feel this way before.
"He made you cum before?" You shook his head when you let out a moan when Sandor started to finger you quicker and faster. Joffrey hasn't even come close to it. He grins to himself when he feels your pussy tighten around his fingers.
He thinks he'll cum as well just by looking at your pretty cunt and the sound of your moans as you came on his fingers. He plays with your cunt softly knowing you're sensitive from your orgasm. He pulls his two fingers out of you, they are wet and coated with your cum, he greedily sucks them. Savoring your cum, it's better than ale, he tells himself.
"I'll make you cum again, Y/n. I'm gonna ruin you if I fuck you." He tells you, leaning down to kiss your mound.
"Ruin me." You beg him as you look at him. He gives your cunt another kiss before kissing your stomach then your chest again as he positions himself between your legs.
Sandor can't help himself but drag his cock against your wet slit. You moaned at the sight of his cock in his hand. His cock was thick, his head was red and fat. You watched as he softly nudged your lips apart with the head of his cock. The head of his cock gathers your wetness so he can slide into you with ease.
He glances at you for a second looking for consent to continue. You nodded at him. You couldn't help but whine as he slid into you. You felt so full, Sandor can feel you clench around him.
 "Fuck me." You beg him.
Sandor moans as he slams into you. His arms shook as he gripped the edge of the bed holding himself up. His thrusts was rough, he kept staring as you threw your head back to moan. Your tits bouncing with every thrusts.
"Fuck." He groans out loud. Sandor felt his chest tighten at the sight of you. He can smell your cunt on his beard making him grunt like a wild man.
He lets out a moan as he looks down between both of you. Cunt spread open on his cock, you were mewling as he pushed deeper into you. Sandor felt your hands on his shoulders, pulling him to get close to you. Sandor feels your breasts against his chest as he cages your head with his arms.
He calls you his pretty lady, his pretty queen as he fucks you. The slick sound of his fat cock dragging out and inside of your wet cunt can be heard.  You cried when you felt his lips on your cheek pressing wet kisses all the way down your neck as you held him.
"I'm going to cum, Y/n." Sandor whines to you as he was about to get up to cum outside of you but you held him closer. You wanted him to cum inside of you, deep inside of you.
"Cum in me. Please Sandor." You whispered to him. He let out a moan, he hides his face against your neck as he starts to fuck you harder. His harsh thrusts made you cry out as you felt him go deeper, you can feel him in your stomach. Sandor had to bite down on his bottom lip as he felt you cum around his cock.
Sandor grunted loudly as he cums inside of you. You welcomed him as he laid on you, enjoying the feeling of him on you, the warmth and the weight of his body. Your fingertips gliding up and down on his back. You felt him moan as he pushed himself up softly, looking down at you, he kissed him. Both of you knew at that moment, you wouldn't be able to stay away from each other.
Joffrey returned the following week, much to your dislike you couldn't speak to Sandor as much. You both knew the risks of someone finding out you were having an affair with him. That didn't stop both of you from giving each other looks and touches.
The only time you would have for each other was when occupying the library, the library was a large room in the basement of the castle. You spend your days there when you have finished with your duties. You usually were there reading while waiting for Sandor. He will come in an hour later after you. He was always looking out, making sure no one was around the library. He will get inside and quickly find you hiding in the back. Sweet and gentle kisses Sandor gave you every time, he was always gentle with you. His large hands cupped your face as he kissed you. Sandor will push you against the bookshelves and go down on his knees, he was always in need to taste you. You would moan when you feel him go under your gown, he puts a leg over his shoulder as he makes you cum on his tongue.
His low moans and whines can be heard when you are between his legs sucking his cock. He will groan when you start to gag on his cock while playing his balls. He can't help himself but cum inside your mouth, especially when he sees you staring up at him with doe eyes. Head bobbing up and down on his shaft, the golden crown on your head wouldn't even budge.
The small loveseat in the library would creak as you rode him. One of his hands held your hips while you placed your hands on his broad shoulders. Sandor and you would finish wrapped around each other and when he finally allowed you to kiss his burned cheek. You didn't pry when you saw him tearing up whenever you kissed his scared cheek. You whispered to him about wanting him, loving him and thanking the new and old gods for having him in your life.
It was a few months when a tournament on King Joffrey's name day was being held. You sat next to Joffrey as he drank his wine and shouted profanity at the players. You were starting to feel unwell. You have been so nauseous lately. You were getting worried. Some days you would wake up throwing up and the heat wasn't helping. The tournament was held on the eastern wall of the Red Keep, you ignored the smell of the ocean. You looked away as the knights fought a few feet away from you. You didn't notice Sandor staring at you as he stood near Joffrey. He saw you placing a hand over your mouth and started to shift in your seat.
He looked away when Joffrey called for him; it was his turn to fight. He grabbed his helmet and walked to the floor. He wasn't nervous, he has done this many times before. As he hits his opponent with his sword, he can see you in the background getting up from your seat. He let out a grunt as the opponent hit back but Sandor was much stronger and quicker. He defended himself and pushed his opponent off the ledge of the building.
Joffrey leaped out of his seat in joy as he ran to the ledge to see the other men on the ground. After calling Sandor a good dog, Joffrey claps. Everyone joined as Sandor took his helmet off, he looked over at you but you weren't there. You were gone along with your handmaidens. Sandor kept looking but saw his older brother's piercing black eyes staring at him with a frown. Sandor looked away and walked back to his post, next to the King.
It was later that Sandor found out why you were gone. You came back when the feast for Joffrey's name day started. Joffrey got up from his seat and cleared his throat.
"I have an announcement to make. It brings great joy to tell you. Your queen, my wife is pregnant. She has provided me with an heir!"
Sandor looked over at you but you just kept staring up at Joffrey with a smile; it was a fake smile. Sandor knew you were faking it since your eyes were dull. He watched as Cersei gave you a hug and congratulated you as well as her children, Myrcella and Tommen.
Sandor stood in the middle of the garden at night watching his surroundings. He saw a single candlelight lit from your balcony. That was a sign from you, to meet you in the gardens.
He heard light footsteps coming near him. He turned around when he heard it getting closer. He saw you wearing a black hooded cape.
"Sandor!" You cried out running to him. Sandor hugged you tight.
"I'm with child." You sobbed into his chest as he rubbed your back.
"It's alright. It's alright." He repeats gently, calming you down.
"The maesters said I'm about a month or so." You told him, looking up at him.
"Sandor, I have to tell you something." He frowned when you started to look around for a moment.
"When Joffrey returned to King's Landing.  He became violent." Sandor grabbed your hand.
"In bed, he started to get angry when I wouldn't moan or move. He started to get aggressive. I was so scared." You whispered.
"I started putting a few drops of milk of the poppy in his drink before he would get to bed. Whenever he wanted to have sex, he couldn't perform. He would fall right to sleep before anything can happen."
"Has he been suspicious?" Sandor asked. You shook your head.
"I've been sleeping naked with him. I would take his clothes off as well." Sandor nodded, you have thought of everything.
"Are you mad at me?" You asked.
Sandor shook his head. "No but why didn't you tell me that fucking cunt was doing that?"
"You would have killed him." You told him. "Then they would kill you. I can't be without you. I can't raise our child without you."
Sandor hugged you tight, kissed your forehead and told you everything was going to be alright. He never thought he would have been a father, he honestly never wanted a child. Mostly because he never found a woman who wanted to be with him and have a family.
He was worried for you. He wouldn't always be there when Joffrey is with you. He hoped Joffrey wouldn't harm you since you're pregnant.
Pregnancy was something Sandor had never seen before first hand, he watched your body change completely and he loved it. He loved touching your swollen belly and breasts. He loved how sensitive you have gotten as well. Sandor thought you looked more beautiful. Your belly has grown so big during the months. Joffrey thought it was twins, the idea was rejected by the maesters. They told Joffrey they can only feel one baby, one very large baby.
You waddled everywhere you go. He wanted to carry you every time he saw you waddling around the castle. Whenever there was time to spend with you he would hold you, his large hands touching and rubbing your belly. His lips pressing against your bare shoulders.
"Sandor, if anything happens to me. Promise me you'll look after our child."
"What do you mean?" He asked you as he heard the tone of your voice change.
"If anything happens to me. Look after our child, teach them to be good. I know if Joffrey is in their life they would be cruel just like him" You told Sandor. You were between his legs, you back against his chest as his arms wrapped around you.
"Teach them to survive in this wicked world." You looked over your shoulder at Sandor.
"Don't let our child be like the rest of them." You cried out to him, Sandor was quick to comfort you.
"They won't be like them. I promise." He told you, feeling a tightness in his chest. He wouldn't let them be like his brother or Joffrey.
It was morning when he heard from a servant that you started to give birth. Sandor followed Joffrey down the hallway. He froze when he heard your screams.
Cersei was sitting outside the door with Myrcella. The young girl was in tears as she heard you crying and screaming while giving birth. Myrcella wanted to be there for you, she had come to love you very dearly since you became queen. You had become like an older sister to the young girl.
"All this screaming and crying. When will it be over?" Joffrey asked, looking irritated.
"Joffrey! She's giving birth. It can be hours, sometimes days." Cersei said. Joffrey rolled his eyes at her.
Sandor paled at the thought of you being in pain for so long.
"Ridiculous." Joffrey hiss then banged on the door.
Sandor walked closer to Joffrey when the door opened and the maester came out. Myrcella was the first to gasp at the sight of the maesters' bloody hands.
"How long?" Joffrey asked, ignoring the cries from inside or the maesters' blood stained hands.
Sandor looked inside the room. You were in a white gown, the gown was clung to your skin wet from your sweat. Two handmaidens were on either side of you, holding your hands as you pushed. He can hear encouraging words from the ladies.
Before the maesters could respond the handmaiden had called out to him to come inside. The door slammed shut before Joffrey could say anything else and your screams continued. A few minutes later your cries had stopped and a loud, strong cry was heard.
 Leonidas Baratheon
Sandor watched as his son slept in his arms. The three of you were in the library together, Sandor was sitting on the loveseat as he held his son. You sat right next to him.
"He's so long." Sandor commented as he continued to look at his son.
"Aye, the maesters were right. He's going to be tall." You said as you watched Sandor with a smile. He hasn't taken his eyes off of him, it was Sandor first time meeting his son. After healing and everyone coming to see Leonidas, the heir to the iron throne. You finally had a chance to see Sandor again. His sweet praises filled you as he kissed you, "I'm proud of you. A boy, a son."
"I wish he would have had your last name." You told Sandor making him look up at you. He shook his head and looked back at his son with a sad face.
"No, it's a good thing he doesn't. Being a Clegane comes with a reputation." Sandor told you. He froze when Leonidas stretched his arms and dozed off again.
"I wish you wouldn't think like that. I would love to have your last name." You told him looking down at your lap.
"Look at me." Sandor said softly. You look over at him.
"You really are crazy, you know that." Sandor said jokingly, making you smile.
"Absolutely." You told him, leaning your head on his shoulder.
Sandor would have loved that as well for you to have his last name but Sandor knew in this world, you don't always get what you want. He consider himself lucky. He felt lucky that you wanted him, to share a bed with him, to share a kiss with him. If this is all he could get from you. It's enough for him.
Leonidas grew up just as everyone expected him to be. You always were nervous whenever someone commented on his height or his hair. No one mentioned he wasn't blonde like his father. Everyone had said the child was an exact replica of Joffrey's father, Robert Baratheon who was tall and with dark hair.
Joffrey had his son's trained with the best knights when he was able to hold a sword. Joffrey had his son trained with the Clegane brothers. Leonidas asked his father to train with them and hunt with them. At a young age, Leonidas has felt at ease with the two most dangerous fighters in Westeros. It did raise concerns with the council and many people of King's Landing but as Leonidas grew, people in King's Landing saw him as a good prince unlike his father when he was younger. Leonidas was adored by the people and was always seen with his mother when visiting the orphanage.
Cersei was walking to her room when she passed by the training area being held in the courtyard, she stopped when she saw her grandson training. She got closer to see Leonidas, age 15 holding a sword. The teenager huffed as he blocked Gregor's heavy attack. She looked over at Sandor who watched them both attentively in the sidelines. He held a hand up to his mouth as he watched Leonidas dodging the attacks. His eyes were dark as Gregor was gaining the upper hand but Leonidas was quicker.
Cersei knew Leonidas couldn't be her real grandson. She always wondered where he got his looks and physique from. Cersei was about to leave when she saw movement from the second floor of the castle. She was surprised when she saw you. You were supposed to be bedridden since you were almost close to giving birth to your third child.
Cersei can see your smile widen as you place a hand on your stomach and look down. Cersei followed your gaze and frowned when she saw you smiling at Sandor.
Sandor has sensed your presence from above. He smiled up at you before looking back at his son. He let out a chuckle when Leonidas had pushed the sword of Gregor's hand.
"Well done." Gregor said before picking up his sword from the ground with a huff.
Gregor looked over his shoulder to see Leonidas had run up to Sandor. Gregor watched as Sandor gave a pat on Leonidas' back while telling him he did a good job. He saw Leonidas smile widely at Sandor's words. Gregor knew Sandor's praise meant everything to the young prince.
Gregor knew Leonidas wasn't Joffrey's son because every time he looked at the young prince all he saw was his younger brother, Sandor. No one knew what Sandor looked like when he was a boy before his face was burned but Gregor knew. Same brown eyes and hair along with the same smile.
Joanna Baratheon, was the second child of Joffrey and Y/n. Every time the young princess looked at Gregor. He saw the face of his dead little sister. Joanna is still young to know about him and what kind of person Gregor truly is. While others didn't even look at Gregor straight in the eyes, Joanna would give him a big smile whenever she saw him. Sometimes would wave at him whenever he was passing.
Gregor often would watch Leonidas and Joanna when they spent time together in the garden, Joanna would collect flowers while Leonidas would have a book on his lap, gifted by his uncle, Tyrion. Joanna would make flower crowns just like her aunt Marcella had shown her. Gregor would watch them for a few minutes behind the pillars of the castle. His dark eyes looked between the prince and the princess. Someday Gregor's eyes would play tricks on him and their faces would morph. Leonidas's left side of his face would be burned, Gregor can still recall the smell of burnt flesh after all these years. Joanna's small face will be pale as the snow, her brown eyes would be bulging out of her skull. Her neck will be black and blue, her small hands would be clawing at her neck. He would have to shut his eyes for a moment then when he opened the faces of his siblings were gone. The happy faces of his niece and nephew were back. He would always leave when his eyes got watery and a dreaded feeling in his chest started to rise.
Gregor knows he's filled with evil and hate. His thirst for blood and chaos is known but he doesn't know why when he looks at the prince and princess some unknown force calms him down for a second and he's filled with something else. He doesn't know what this feeling is, it's not hate and while he figures out that feeling  he wouldn't tell a living soul that Sandor is the real father of Leonidas, Joanna and the babe growing inside of you. Gregor had already slit the throats of the people that were calling Leonidas and Joanna a bastard and their mother, you a whore in hushed whispers.

Tumblr media
You idle across the street from your mother's place, staring at the white siding and dreading your next move. You don't know what to say even as you rehearse a dozen different takes in your head. You can admit you’re wrong, but that’s the problem. You’re not. Something inside you wants you to resist but you never been very good at being stubborn.
Naomi leans against the door, half-awake. You're worried about her too. She's still out of it. Even after eating, she barely has any energy.
You shift into gear and slowly pull into the driveway. Better to just get it over with. You don't have much of a choice. You need somewhere to stay. If only your father would answer his phone.
You play with the dangling keychain and leave the keys in the ignition. You won't bring Naomi in right away, that'll only trigger your mother. One step at a time.
"Hang out here," you turn up the radio, "I'll try not to be long."
She murmurs and nestles into the door. How did your summer end up such a mess? You want to blame her but she's just so pathetic. Steve definitely caused a lot of shit too. He seems like the most obvious culprit in all of this.
You get out of the car and as you head up the walkway, you hear your name behind you. Speak of the devil. You ignore Steve as you march up to the door. He catches up and latches onto your arm. You face him as he holds a cardboard tray of coffee in his free hand, barely keeping it from tipping as you try to wrench away.
"Let go--"
"Wait a minute, sweetie, I just wanna talk."
"I don't want to talk to you--"
"And you think your mom wants to talk to you? You haven't even called these last few days. You hurt her. I'm offering you a favour here, I can make her listen to you."
"What are you even talking about? How about I tell her about your wife? Maybe she'll listen then."
He scoffs and rolls his eyes, looking towards the car, "and what are you going to tell her about that slut? Hmm? Your mom wouldn't be very proud to have you hanging out with some OnlyFans whore. She certainly wouldn't appreciate those photos of you in front of the mirror."
"What photos?"
"Don't play dumb, honey," he lets his hand slide down your arm, "she was showing them off at the party. Everyone saw you with your tits half out."
"Stop!"
"I'm tryna make you a deal. You keep your mouth shut, I'll do the same," he winks.
You yank away from him and puff out, "whatever. She's my mother. She'll believe me."
"Did she believe you before?" He asks as you spin on your heel. "When you lied about me the first time?"
"I didn't--" You keep from arguing as you approach the door. You let yourself in as Steve follows. You quickly shut the door and lock it from the other side.
You wander in cautiously, listening to the silence of the house. You enter the kitchen as you hear the faucet running. Your mother stands at the sink rinsing out a carafe.
"Hey, mom," you squeak.
She turns her head and looks at you from the corner of her eye. She doesn't say a word as she returns her attention back to her task. You exhale and come closer.
"Mom, I'm... I'm sorry. Really. This summer's been so weird and I think-- maybe I overreacted. About Steve? It's a lot of change--"
"I know it's a lot of change," she slams the faucet off and plunks down the carafe, "I got a divorce, I had to be alone in this house for months, and I find someone to keep me company and you have to try to ruin it all."
"No, mom, I wasn't. I swear, I just... there's something I need to tell you about Steve."
"I don't want to hear it. Whatever lies you've come up with now."
"I ran into him last night and I have to tell you--"
A pounding comes at the door and Steve hollers through, "hello!"
"Save it," she waves you off and storms out of the kitchen.
You trail her as she goes to unlock the front door. Steve strolls in, presenting his tray of coffee, "hey, hon, thought I'd surprise you with a good morning."
"Oh, sweetie," your mother fawns and gives him a kiss as he tilts his head down.
"I thought I saw you," he nods at you past your mother, "welcome home, kiddo."
You frown. Your mother turns back to send you a bitter look. You give a helpless shrug.
"Mom, please, listen to me. He's not what he seems."
"Stop," she warns.
"I won't. I'm trying to protect you, okay?" You throw up your hands, "ask him about his wife."
Silence. Your mother's forehead wrinkles and she lifts a single brow. She gives a guilty look and peeks at her feet evasively.
"I know about his wife, sweetheart, alright? That's how we met. In a group. We're both divorcing so naturally--"
"He's not divorcing her. I saw them last night--"
"Look, Yvette, I didn't want to worry you. Wanda called me last night. She got wasted again and I had to drive her home. I know, it's awkward but I just felt bad leaving her somewhere in that condition," Steve says somberly, "you know, I thought separating might clean her up..."
"Oh, sweetie, it's okay. I understand," your mother preens at him, "you're so caring and she takes advantage of that--"
"No, I saw him with her. They were--"
"Why don't you tell your mom where you saw me carrying out my drunk ex? Hmm? I'm sure she'd like to know about the old man you've been entertaining. The one who bought you those shiny new glasses."
Your mouth drops open. Oh no. Oh. That sounds a lot worse than the truth. You sputter and look your mom in the face. She's mortified.
"Old man?"
"No, I was at Naomi's, I swear. My glasses broke so her dad--er, Bucky, he--"
"An older man? Her father? You..."
"No, mom, it's not like that. I didn't do anything with him. I wouldn't. He's like... he's Steve age."
"And that makes it even more nasty, he could be your father."
"Noooo, no. No. I'm not-- I'm not involved with him. I was just hanging out with Naomi--"
"Oh, and such a good influence she is," your mother hisses, "she's really rubbed off on you, hasn't she?"
"Mom!" You shout.
"Do not raise your voice with me. I have put up with you long enough. Running out, disappearing on me for days, lying to me, and on top of all that, making those gross allegations against Steve," she snarls, "You are not welcome in my house."
"Mom," you gulp.
"That might work on that old man you're messing around with but you're an adult now. You can take care of yourself--"
"Mom, no, I didn't... I wouldn't... you can't really think that I'm like that?"
"I don't know what to believe with you," she sniffles, "you just can't stand to see me happy, can you? You're just like your father, you're selfish."
"Please, list-en--"
"Stop! Stop! Stop!" She shrieks and covers her ears, turning and devolving into quaking tears. Steve puts down the tray and swiftly wraps an arm around her, pulling her head to his chest. He smirks at you over her head, "you've done enough. Oh, Steve, get her out. Get her out!"
You're stunned. Speechless. You've never seen your mother like this. Her and your dad argued but she was always so calm. What did he do to her?
"Yvette," he says softly, "at least let her grab some stuff before she goes."
Your mother whimpers as she clings to him, "oh, you are too nice, Steve, too nice..."
"It's okay, I'll make sure she goes after she packs a bag. Come on, why don't you go outside and have your coffee," he reaches for a cup and pulls it free of the cardboard tray, "let me get you settled, alright?"
Your mother blubbers as Steve carefully leads her away. You shake your head and stomp towards the stairs. You can't believe this. That man is a psychopath and he's got your mother all twisted.
You go to your room and find it in a state. What the hell? Your panty drawer gapes open and several pairs are strewn on the floor. You sift through and grab a handful, shoving them into a bag with some shirts and a couple pairs of jeans. You don't have a plan beyond filling your duffel bag.
You go to your bed but keep from putting the bag there. You notice the white string crust only your pillow. Ew. Oh my god. He-- You shudder and back away.
Laptop, charger, a bunch of odds and ends before you head for the door.
Steve meets you at the bottom of the stairs. You stop a few steps above and glare at him.
"I'm leaving. Move."
"Sweetie, if you need somewhere to go..."
"You are deranged."
"I'll take care of you. Wanda would really like you, I think."
You suck in air and barrel down, shoving past him. He curls you up in his arms and pulls you against him, flush to you as he rubs his pelvis against you. You squeal and wriggle in his grasp.
"Feel how hard I am? Not as bad as when I came in your bed. Fuck, I nearly choked on your panties--"
"Get off!" You elbow him and he releases you reluctantly.
"Think she'll let me fuck her in there? I mean, so far, she's let me do whatever I want--"
You swing your bag at him and stammer. You are repulsed to your core. You feel as if you could wretch. You don't want to leave your mother with him but you have no choice. Just as she said, she's an adult, she can take care of herself.
"I would never touch you. You're a disgusting old man," you yell and bluster away, "I hope you rot."
You charge out the door and try to escape the lingering warmth of his touch. He makes your skin crawl. You’ve never felt anything so visceral and vile. You open the back door of the car and toss your bag in before slamming it and plopping in the front seat. As you hit the locks, Naomi taps her finger on her phone and tucks it under her leg.
You blink and look at her. You grip the wheel as the card idles, the AC cranked to full blast. You exhale and let your shoulders slump. “We can’t stay– were you talking to someone?”
“Uh, yeah, Harry,” she wets her lips with her tongue, “he’s having a party.”
“Oh, a party,” you face forward and buckle your seat belt, “do you think that’s a good idea? After last night?”
“Why not? It’ll give us some time away, to hide out. What were you saying? That we can’t stay here? So, where else do we go?”
You nod and frown. You wish you had a different answer but it seems she has the only one. You really don’t want to go hang out with her old crowd but the alternative is hardly preferable.
“You have to promise me to pace yourself. Naomi, I don’t want to be peeling you off the floor again.”
She’s quiet. You rest your hand on the shifter and look at her. She has the grace to look guilty.
“Why do you care so much?” She asks; not accusative, more disbelieving, as if you’re wasting your energy.
“Because you deserve it. You’re a person and I like you, Nay. You’re a bit lost but you’re my friend. To be fair, I’m a bit lost, too.”
You pull the stick back and push down on the pedal, reversing out of the driveway. You crank the wheel and set yourself straight. You languish in the dull buzz of the radio, the volume cranked just above silent. You furrow your brow as your memory tweaks sharply.
“Naomi,” you say, “did you show Steve those pictures?”
“What pictures?”
“The ones from the bathroom. He said–”
“No, I told you, I wouldn’t. Those were just for me. For both of us.”
You grip the wheel tighter, “ but how did he know about them?”
She clucks and sits back. You glance at her from the rearview. She seems genuinely perplexed as she holds her forehead.
“Do you think maybe Bucky told him about it? He walked in on us. Maybe he didn’t see the pictures, maybe he just heard?”
You roll your tongue and think, clamping your lips together. You know you can’t trust Steve or anything he says. She could be right. He could be exaggerating for effect, just like he does with your mom.
“You aren’t lying to me?” You ask sternly, stopping at the red sign.
“Really, I wouldn’t… I might be okay sharing my pictures but I wouldn’t do that to you. Those pictures… they’re special…” she puts her hands in her lap and twiddles her thumbs, “you’re so gorgeous in them.”
Your cheeks heat up at the unexpected compliment. You steer on and chew your lip before mustering an answer, “thanks, that’s sweet.” You roll past the next intersection, “um, Nay? I don’t know where Harry lives?”
“Yessss,” she claps her hands, “we’re going to have fun. Forget about all that drama.”
You nod, hoping she’s right. You’d give anything to not feel, to not think, to be bound up with the knots of anxiety clustered in your chest and stomach. Maybe Naomi’s way is better. Just one night of fun can’t be bad, right?

Maybe plat!soft!Yan Riddle hcs with a shy, timid and skittish mouse beastman darling in the same form as him?
Tumblr media
.。*♡ A/N: This is so cute 🥺. When I first saw the gameplays, bcz the game is not available on my country, Riddle was my favorite character and writing this remind me why. Hope you like it, anonie!
.。*♡ Warnings: Platonic yandere, stalking, toxic friendship, humiliation, mutilation threats, slightly dezumaning.
Tumblr media
.。*♡ Maybe Ignyhide, maybe Savanaclaw. You guessed, trying to think what kind of dorm would be best for someone like you, so quiet, so shy, avoiding looking at people as you stand in front of the mirror and await your fate. Your ears moving involuntarily as the seconds pass and the mirror echoes: Heartslabyu.
.。*♡ Heartslabyu. The Queen of Hearts' dorm. A dorm in which there are few beastsmen, a dorm in which everyone seems to look at you and your mouse ears or tail move, uncomfortable with the attention.
.。*♡ Life in this dorm is restless and several times a day, you often find yourself hiding from Riddle Rosehearts, your dorm leader, who seems to find pleasure in teasing you and offering you headpats (It's his favorite excuse to pet your ears). And truly you can't get mad at him for that, Riddle has those sparkles in his eyes whenever he can touch your soft ears or hear you squeak in surprise. And really this is better than be collared like your others classmates and friends.
.。*♡ You catch his attention and only because of this fact do you become friends. Maybe you're good playing croquette or have an easy time dealing with the flamingos and hedgehogs, maybe it was your laugh or the delicate way you paint the roses red. Thing is, as soon as you catch his attention, Riddle starts investigating everything he can about you. Your likes, your dislikes, favorite food, etc.
.。*♡ You and Riddle have a strange friendship - if you can call whatever that is a friendship, of course. Mainly pre overblot Riddle who likes to punish you in a different way when you get one of the rules wrong; he sentences you to spend the whole day by his side, it would almost seem like a normal date between friends if he didn't threaten to cut off your tail if you leave him even for an instant.
.。*♡ And you, fearful and shy, give in, not wanting to find out if this is all a bluff or something real. Even more so when he could do worse than that, locking you in a cage and treating you like his little mouse. One for only him to see and care for.
.。*♡ Pre overblot Riddle has high expectations for everyone, but they're even higher when it comes to you. He wants you to always have the best grades, to always behave well, to participate in the same club as him and to have respectable friends who don't influence you wrongly. He acts towards you like his mother acts towards him. And it's terrible and suffocating, and you can't do anything but listen to him if you want to keep your ears and tail in place, no one would believe he threatened you in any way. He respectable, the example of what an exemplary student should be.
.。*♡ Riddle likes to put you in the spotlight when you don't listen to him. Do you want to run away from him so much? Do you wish so much that he wasn't around? Okay, then he won't be there for you, not even to help you when you freeze on stage and the audience just keeps staring at you, laughing, whispering about you and your failed attempt of speech. Plus he will still be there to ask you several questions, questions that he knows you don't know the answer to.
.。*♡ Your panicked expression is something he treasures after all.
.。*♡ Post overblot Riddle is genuinely softer, listening to everything you have to say and apologizing for everything he caused you, for the fear, the humiliation and the punishments. If you wish, as tradition demands, he will even bow to you as a sign of respect. He bow till his face is touching the floor, if that's what you want.
.。*♡ Post overblot Riddle knows he hurt you, he knows you haven't completely forgiven him for what he did and he's more than willing to rectify his mistakes. He doesn't know how to do that yet so he asks Trey for advice and he's trying every day to regain your trust somehow.
.。*♡ He start small: handing you a cup of tea early in the morning, sharing his notes with you, helping you overcome your shyness and how to you express yourself more, letting you get away with it if you break any rules and protecting you from possible bullies who like to make fun of you because of your mousey features.
.。*♡ Forgive him or not, Riddle will not leave your life. He is determined to be your friend and your friend he will be one way or another.

Youngest!hughes who goes to Quinn for comfort and the other two are like wtf why him
notes: there's a fight with ellen and jim, but it's just a normal parent/child argument. not the end of the world.
"it's literally kids from school!" you argued. "like i'm not doing anything stupid. you know most of them."
"no means no," ellen said simply. "you're too young to be going to parties like that. there's going to be drinking, and smoking, and so much going on. you have your exams next week. you need to focus on those."
"but mom--"
"no," ellen said sternly. "i'm not doing this right now."
"y/n/n, your mother said no," jim interjected. "we cave in to your demands. sometimes, you need to listen to us."
you stared at your parents, trying to ignore the burning of tears building up in your eyes. you hated how you cried whenever you got emotional. it only made you mad, which made you cry more.
"yeah, okay," you whispered, turning around to head upstairs.
your parents didn't call out as you quietly headed upstairs, slinking through the hallways and entering quinn's old room.
the nhl season was still underway, with quinn and jack in different cities -- quinn in a different country. luke was in university now, doing his own thing and visiting only when he wanted food.
your parents had always been protective over you, but it seemed to grow so much worse now that all of your brothers were out of the house. you didn't understand why, especially considering you were the most well behaved out of the four of you. even better than quinn.
and your brothers would agree with you.
you closed the door quietly, taking a second to steady your breathing. it didn't make a difference because the tears began to flow immediately.
you let them flow silently, flopping into quinn's bed and pulling the blanket up around you.
you missed your brothers. they were annoying as hell, but you hated living without them. pulling out your phone, you scrolled until you reached quinn's contact. you debated facetiming him, but realized the tears might be too much. instead, you called him, putting the phone on speaker.
"hello," quinn answered.
"hi," you sniffed.
"y/n? what's wrong?" quinn asked. "are you crying?"
"i cry over everything, it's not a big deal," you said simply. "anyways, how're you? what're you doing?"
"you didn't call to hear what i'm doing," quinn replied. "what's up? why're you sad?"
"i just-" you took a deep breath, "you know how every week before exams, there's that class party across town? and how mom and dad let all three of you guys go?"
quinn hummed on the other end of the line, urging you to continue.
"i just asked mom and dad if i could go, and they both said no," you groaned. "and i -- i know it's such a stupid thing to cry over, but it's just not fair. i'm not a bad kid, i'm actually a very good kid. but i -- i don't like this."
"it's okay kid," quinn said softly, allowing you to cry. "they're just having a tough time thinking about you growing up. honestly, i'm having a tough time with it too." he laughed a bit, "but i'm starting to learn how to come to terms with it. tell you what, i'll talk to mom and dad, and try to explain your side of the story. don't worry kid. you'll be fine. i promise you."
you sniffed, "thanks q. i owe you."
"damn right you do."
"shut up," you laughed. "i'm gonna hang up if you keep bullying me,"
"i'm your older brother," he responded. "that's literally my only responsibility."
you startles at the sound of your phone buzzing, seeing jack's caller id.
"wait, it's jack," you told quinn. "i'm gonna add him to the call."
"ew."
"is that quinn?" jack asked. "who'd i call?"
"you called me, your favourite sibling," you responded. "but i'm on the line with quinn."
"i'm jack's favourite sibling," luke interjected. "he called me first."
"you called me," jack corrected. "any why is quinn on the line too?"
"i called him because i was sad," you answered.
"yeah, she was crying," quinn agreed.
"i'm always crying."
"wait, so you went to quinn because you were sad?" jack asked. "why him?"
"yeah, why him?" luke agreed. "we're much better at making you happy."
"mhm, whatever you say," quinn muttered. "but she still called me."
"oh my god, i can't believe i wanted you guys back in the house," you groaned.

Jungkook x Reader
Summary: dinner with your parents leads to a slightly flustered conversation Jungkook
Warnings: teeny bit of angst, a lil suggestive,
A/N: The last of the requests for a week or two. Sorry if it's a lil all over the place and short, I got stuck(as usual). On the upside, I do have several new things coming later in the week that I hope y'all will like. Not proofread.

"Did you have to actually show them the photos?" Jungkook complained as you entered the apartment.
"They wanted to see them." You said.
"But did it have to be right then?"
You'd just returned from dinner with your parents, which was one of the few rare times when you got to see Jungkook's shyer side come out. Despite how long the two of you had been dating, he still worried about making a good impression and was a little awkward around them.
The evening had gone pretty smoothly, up until the typical "What have you been working on lately?" question came up, and you'd decided to mention his Calvin Klein brand deal and photoshoot. It was a project that he'd been pretty excited about, so, of course, you wanted to tell them about it, though, it hadn't slipped past your notice the way that he'd blushed when you brought it up. Even after the conversation had moved on , his ears keeping a slight tinge of pink.
"They were just trying to be supportive," You said. "They're proud of you."
"You're proud of me." He said, shooting you a pointed look.
You stopped. "Is that a problem?" You asked, voice shrinking as worry beginning to bubble in your chest in fear that you had made him uncomfortable.
Noticing the shift in your tone and mood, he was quick to relent on his teasing and pull you to him.
"Of course not, baby. You know I love how much you support my work, it was just a little awkward to have your parents see those photos." He said reassuringly.
"I didn't realize you were that shy." You said, biting back a grin, fiddling with the collar of his shirt.
"I'm not-" He tried to argue.
"It's okay Kook, I get it." You gave him a peck on the lips. "I'm sorry I got a bit carried away."
"I mean, I don't necessarily mind when you get carried away about some things." He grinned, suddenly tightening his grip on you, eliciting a surprised gasp in response before leaning in. He lips brushed teasingly against yours for a moment before pulling back just as quickly to see the rosey tint creeping up your face.
"Now who's shy?" He teased.
"Ugh, I hate you." You whined, shoved against his chest.
"You love me." He smirked.
"You have any evidence to back that up?"
"Hmm," He thought for a moment. "There's the way you always look out for me, and make sure that I take care of myself, even when I'm busy or lazy."
"There's the way you stare at me when you think I'm not paying attention." He said lowly, peppering your face with kisses as he spoke. "You also say it in your sleep sometimes."
"And you just spent the better part of an hour bragging about me to your mother. So, yeah, I'm pretty sure."
"Ok, fine!" You squirmed in his hold, blushing furiously again. "I love you. Happy?"
"Yes." He said, pressing a final kiss to your lips. "And I love you too."
"Even if I make you shy?" You asked.
"Especially then."

Synopsis: After being captured with Spider, you tag along with the Recombinant squad.
The only reason that I got caught was because I refused to leave Spider behind. He was too young to be taken from us so I immediately jumped down after him as the rest of my family escaped without us. I heard my mother call out for me, but she was held back by my father so she wouldn't get caught as well. I silently thanked Eywa that the rest of my family was safe as the soldiers started dragging the two of us along.
At the moment, me and Spider were being held in a plain room. There was only a table with a chair to decorate the room. Spider was sitting underneath the table, which lead me to stand between the door and him. It felt like an hour before someone finally came to the room.
Once the door opened, I saw the monster that my parents had called Quaritch. I glared at him, letting out a raspy hiss as he walked into the room. The demon merely smirked at me, turning his attention towards Spider. He tried getting down near the table to try and talk to my adoptive brother. Immediately, I lashed out at the man, trying to protect Spider in anyway I could.
Quaritch's hand grabbed my throat as soon as I touched him the first time. He easily lifted me up, shoving me against the wall. He laughed darkly at the look of pain that crossed my face. Speaking with false concern, the demon looked into my eyes, "What's the matter? Not as strong as you thought, huh? Come on, speak up when I talk to you little girl."
Spider rushed to get out from under the table. When he got over to us, he grabbed at Quaritch's arm trying to pull him off me. "She doesn't talk. Let go of her. She didn't do anything!"
As soon as the statement left Spider's lips, Quaritch scoffed but let go of me, dropping me to the ground. I took some deep breaths while rubbing my neck in pain. Spider grabbed my arm, looking concerned from the interaction that he just witnessed.
The demon looked down at us, taking notice of everything that he could. A few moments went by before he smiled towards us. He crouched down to be on the same level as us. Taking a moment to look at both of us, he finally spoke, "I have an offer for the both of you. I know that neither of you would ever betray Jake Sully. I'm not going to ask you to. But I think that the both of you will want to be with me and my team as we continue our work. You don't want to stay here with the scientists alone. Who knows what they would do." He stopped talking for a moment to turn towards me. A dark look spread across his face as he continued, "Especially to you sweetheart. You might not be able to talk, but they will find a use for you. And I don't think that you want that. Offers on the table, but if I walk out the door, the deal's off."
I looked at Spider once the demon was done talking. He seemed conflicted at what was just offered to us. I knew that Quaritch was right. I didn't want to know what the sky people would do to Spider, let alone what might happen to me. I didn't know what half of the machines they had could do, and I didn't want to find out. I gently grabbed Spider's arm to get his attention. Once he looked at me, I gave a small nod of my head.
Spider looked at Quaritch again before he gave a defeated sigh. He stared at the ground as he let out a mumbled,  "Alright. We'll go with you and your team. But don't hurt her like that again. You got it?"
The demon chuckled at the request given to him, but nodded nonetheless. He stood up before motioning for us to do the same. The moment that we were off the ground, Quaritch started to walk out of the door. I softly pushed Spider to follow, keeping a hold of him at all times. We were lead through a series of halls before he finally lead us to a set of double doors.
He pushed the doors open, gesturing for us to enter the room first. When we walked through the door, I noticed that most everyone from the earlier fight were standing around different parts of the room. They all turned to look at us before setting their attention to their leader.
Speaking loud enough for all his soldiers to hear, Quaritch started to explain, "I'm sure you all remember our guests from earlier. We decided to drop by to let you all know that they will be joining us for the foreseeable future. Make sure they feel welcomed to the group. Especially be nice to the little girl. She can't seem to be able to say anything. The poor thing."
A few of the men chuckled at their leaders statement, lightly hitting at each other as the began whispering. I saw one of the women roll her eyes at the antics of her fellow soldiers. The bald man came towards me, looking me over as he tried to speak with fake sympathy. "Aw. Did you never get the chance to learn to talk? That's so sad, but at least you still have your looks."
I gave the man a death glare, though he just laughed. My tail flicked in annoyance as I began to say, "Salew slu sno muntxa!"
A confused look crossed his when I spoke to him. The skxawng's face didn't change as he looked to Quaritch as he asked, "Did she have a stroke or something? What the hell was that?"
"It the native language of the Na'vi people. Figured you would at least know that Lyle." I looked to see that the man who spoke was the man who had been in charge of the 'machine gun' as dad had called it. He seemed disinterested in the whole ordeal that was going on.
'Lyle' had scoffed as he turned to face the man. "Alright, if you're so smart, what did she say? Since you know so much about the Navi." The man simply shrugged his shoulders.
Quaritch looked over at me before saying, "Thought you couldn't talk. Or was that just for convenience?"
Spider was quick to step in as the demon glared at me. "I said she didn't talk, not that she couldn't. (Y/n) is selectively mute. She only talks if she wants to."
The bald one scoffed from the answer that came from Spider. He crossed his arms while puffing his chest out slightly as he spoke again, "Alright then kid, what was it she choose to say that was so important?"
I had a small smirk on my face as Spider began to explain, "The rough translation of that phrase is 'Go become self mated'."
Everyone was quiet until the woman from earlier started to laugh with the biggest grin on her face. She pointed towards Lyle as she exclaimed, "She told you to go fuck yourself! You just got told off by someone who doesn't talk!"
After she had said that, practically everyone in the room started to laugh along with her. Even the Colonel chuckled along, amused slightly at the realization of my words. Me and Spider joined in with the commotion, though I had placed my hand over my mouth to contain some of the noise. I took some deep breaths to regain my composure when Quaritch raised his hand to get everyone's attention.
"Alright, enough of that. It has been decided that we will be heading out in the morning. Get some food if you need it, and get to the meeting point on time. If you are not there and ready on the dot, you will be left here to-do whatever tasks the General has planned. Zdinarsk, Mansk, Lyle; stay back so we can talk. Everyone else is dismissed."
People started to leave the room soon after Quaritch's speech ended. The only people that remained were the ones he had called for specifically. The woman and the machine gunner walked over so they could hear whatever their CO had to say. The woman gave me a smile when she got closer, clearly still amused from the conversation that happened a few minutes ago. I look over to the other man, giving him a once over before meeting his eyes. When our eyes met, he gave a small nod towards me before turning his attention back to Quaritch.
Quaritch turned his attention to his soldiers as he began to talk. "Each of you know how important it is for us to succeed with this mission. So you all are going to be helping me keep an eye on our little guests here. I got a mask that you will be using Spider. And I have something very special for you, (Y/n)." Before I could truly process his words, a metal collar was placed on my neck with a sharp click. I clawed at it trying to get it off. Though I only seemed to be digging it deeper into my skin. The Colonel chuckled as he watched me struggle. "Struggling will make it worse. That there is something that will help us keep you in line. You try to go too far, your new necklace will send a couple hundred volts of electricity through your whole body."
I glared at the man, still pulling against it slightly. Slowly, he pulled out a little gadget from one of his pockets. He held it up for me to get a look at it. After he was sure that I had at least glanced at it, the Colonel held it out for the quiet man to take. He looked surprised at his commanding officer, but took the device from him with no complaints.
As he looked over the device, the Colonel began talking again, mostly to the man. "Mansk, you'll be in charge of our little Na'vi friend here. You'll need to set up a code for that device. It can be used to remove the collar if it ever needed. Such as a situation where our little friend has a little 'accident' and gets seriously hurt. If that happens, you remove it so we can use any information it picks up from her wearing it." He turned towards me with a sick grin as continued talking, "And don't think about trying to guess the code either. If you put in the wrong code, enough electricity will be running through your body to make you wish you were dead. Clear?"
I continue to glare at him, but I nod nonetheless. Spider places a hand on my arm, a concerned look etched into his features. Placing a hand on his shoulder, I softly pat him three times; a way that I would tell my family I was alright if something had happened. He didn't look entirely convinced, but he calmed down a little.
The woman moved to stand in front of us, holding her hand out. She smirked when I met her gaze. "Name's Zdinarsk but I go my Z-Dog." I reach out, giving a small handshake. She continues to smile when she speaks again, "You did a good job putting Lyle in his place. You even got Mansk to laugh a little."
Lyle looked over at Mansk when Z-Dog finished her statement. He glared at his fellow soldier. "Asshole."
"You deserved it." Me and Z-Dog laughed at his unbothered tone. We had received Lyle's glare, though he looked like a toddler who just thrown a tantrum. I covered my mouth again as I made that realization, trying to contain my smile.
Before it could continue, Quaritch scoffed, "That's enough. All of you, get some rest. I want to see you all bright and early tomorrow. Mansk, you take your new friend to your bunk. Might as well get comfy with each other. Not going to be spending much time apart."
I glared at him as he motioned for Spider to follow him. Though I was hesitant, I let Spider leave with him. I had saw the way Quaritch had looked at him when we were captured. Though he seems indifferent, Quaritch has a soft spot for his 'would be' son. Spider was one of the few, if not only, things the Colonel had to be reminded of his humanity.
I was broken out of my thoughts when Lyle stepped in front of me, his smirk from earlier back. He reached out to touch a strand of my hair as he started asking more questions. "So, why don't you talk? Did something happen or can you just not comprehend how to properly speak?"
I slapped his hand away as I hissed at him. He laughed at the reaction he got out of me. Lyle tried to do it again, but Z-Dog pushed him back slightly before he could. "Come on Lyle. That's enough. Stop pissing her off before we let her maul you."
Putting his hands up, Lyle backs away slightly though he doesn't leave just yet. He decides to keep asking questions, though this time they are somewhat normal. "How old are you anyway? Can you even understand what any of us are saying right now?"
I roll my eyes at the second question he asked. If I didn't understand them, how would I have known how to react to them all earlier. Deciding to at least prove him a little wrong with his assumption, I muster up the courage to give a small but firm answer. "I'm 20 years old."
He grins wider at the soft sound of my voice. "Alright, that's enough questions. Leave the girl alone." Masnk had stepped between the two of us, apparently tired of the whole ordeal. He turned towards me with a somewhat soft expression on his face. Looking down at me, he spoke again, "Come on. Let's get going."
I give a small wave to Z-Dog before following Mansk through the corridors to wherever he was going. Not much was said between the two of us, but it's not like I would really have all that much to say. I never had a problem talking, it just seemed like not many people seemed to care to listen when I was younger. So I mostly remained quiet as I was growing up. My parents and siblings always gave me there full attention when I did decide to speak, but not many in the clan seemed to care the same as they did. My grandmother used to tell me that Eywa had given me this gift for a reason and I should be proud of it. Once she had told me that my words would one day help guide the People to a better future. Though I was skeptical of some of my grandmother's wor, it was not my place to question Eywa's will.
Before I knew it, Mansk had stopped to open a door. He held it open as he gestured for me to enter. I slowly entered into what appeared to be his room. It was very clean, the only thing out of place was a shirt that was laying the bottom bed of his bunk. I walked over to a shelf that he had right beside his desk. Looking over all the books he had, I slowly ran my fingers along the spines of each of them.
"So, um, (Y/n)." When he said my name, I turned back to look at him. He seemed nervous about being in the same space with me alone. His eyes began roaming around the room as he started to ramble. "Yeah, so I know it's small but it should work. I normally take the bottom bunk so you can have the top one if you want. Since we leave in the morning, if you need to there's a shower over in that room. You can clean up if you want to. I know it's been a long day."
I stare over at the door he had pointed out. I debated with myself on if I should clean, ultimately deciding to just get some rest. I walk over to the beds. As I place my hands on the edge, he calls out to try and stop me. I push myself up onto the top, settling down to sit with my legs crossed. I peer down at him to see his wide eyed gaze looking up at me. Tilting my head to the side, I give him a confused stare back.
He let's out a small sigh as he mumbled, "That's one way to get up I guess." Moving over to another door, I leaned down to rest on my stomach to get a better look in it. It appeared to be full of his uniforms from where I was sitting. I was proven correct when he pulled out a pair of pants. Mansk turned back towards me to see me still looking at him. His face started to become a soft purple as he looked away in embarrassment. Going over to the bed, he grabbed the shirt to start heading towards the door. As he opened it, he stopped before he went through it completely.
He looked back towards me, seeming to be in debate with himself. I gave him a confused look as he sighed and came back towards me. Lifting his shirt up to me, Mansk refuse to meet my gaze. "You might want to... cover up a little. We normally keep our barracks colder than what you're probably used to. You can borrow this for now."
My eyes widen in surprise at his kind behavior. I gently take the shirt from his hands to bring it closer to my body. I rub my fingers again the fabric, surprised by how soft it feels. Focusing my attention back to Mansk, I give him a soft smile. "Thank you."
"Yeah, um... yeah," Mansk turned around again, still refusing to meet my gaze after giving me the shirt. He walked back over to the door again . He spoke in a soft voice, but I was still able to hear him. "I'm going to take a shower real quick. Just stay in here please."
Once he had closed the door, I laid on my side looking at his shirt. I was debating on if I should wear it or not. I made up my mind when I shivered slightly as the air came down from the ceiling. Sitting up slightly, I pulled the shirt over my head. Pulling it down so it would bunch, I was engulfed in his scent. It mostly smelled of sweat and some kind of water. Probably from what he used to clean himself. His shirt was big enough on me that it went down to my upper thigh.
I laid back down resting my head on the pillow. I could hear the water running in the other room. Huffing softly, I turned to face the wall as I tried to get some sleep. I closed my eyes while trying to even out my breathing. Though, it seemed pointless because I could only think about my family. I didn't know where they were or if they were even safe right now. I tried to hold in my cries, but a few tears managed to slip past.
I laid there crying quietly when I heard the door open again. Even though I wasn't face Mansk, I wiped my face so the tears weren't there anymore. Letting out a sigh that was shakier than I liked, I heard Mansk lay down underneath me. The room was so quiet, I had assumed that he had fallen asleep already.
Just as I was about to try and fall asleep again, his voice broke the silence, "Are you alright? I know it's been a long day for you and your family."
At first, I almost pretended that I didn't hear him. Act like I was asleep and that he didn't know. But deep down, I felt touched by his concern even though I was thrown into his care. Taking a deep breath, I could only give a soft, "I wanna go home."
I heard him sigh from the bottom bunk. I curled into a ball, closing my eyes again to try and fall asleep. Before I was able to drift off to sleep, I heard Mansk say, "It'll be okay (Y/n). Just try not to think about it too hard." I smiled a little at his words. Who knows, maybe he has a bit of a point.
~Thinking of making this a series. Thoughts? Anyways, feel free to request if you want anything specific. Will write ALMOST anything.

A charming witch
Part I (of 3)
When he was a little kid, Izuku summoned a demon by accident; he's not sure how it happened and his mother never explained it in detail, but all he knows is that the demon looked like a kid too and that he tried to bite Izuku's neck.
Fortunately, he didn't, but it made Izuku chose a more peaceful path when it came to practicing sorcery and magic.
Now he practices green magic and he has a little store in the middle of the village where he sells potions for all kinds of trouble and illnesses. The good thing is that flowers and plants are a very safe way to do magic. No demons involved.
There are other types of witches who deal with dark magic and summon demons (or banish them) for all kinds of purposes.
Izuku is happy with his potions and herbs; he certainly doesn't need anything else.
But that doesn't mean that trouble doesn't find his way to his doorstep anyways.
***
Izuku has a friend named Uraraka, she's a witch too, but she deals with more powerful magic; however, sometimes she needs a couple of potions and that's how she ends up in Izuku's little shop most of the time when she finds herself in the village.
That particular day she walks in with a demon; the demon is all pink and keeps smiling and looking around in awe like a very curious child.
Izuku knows not all demons are dangerous or seek to eradicate human kind and yet he gets a little bit startled when he finally sees her.
"Sorry!" He blushes when the demon squeaks in delight; she's bonded to Uraraka by magic so she has to go wherever the witch goes, but she doesn't seem to mind.
"You were right," the demon grins at Uraraka, staring at Izuku with interest. "He's such a cutie."
Uraraka rolls her eyes, but looks mostly amused.
"This is Ashido Mina, the demon I summoned to assist me for a while. In exchange, she gets to see our world because for some reason she likes it."
"I do!" Ashido smiles, prompting Izuku to finally relax around her. "It's like being on vacation! And trust me it's better here at the moment because Blasty has been insufferable for the last few years... He's pining..."
"Blasty?" Izuku mumbles in confusion, not entirely sure he wants the answer to that question.
"My boss, the demon king," Ashido explains, like it's not a big deal.
Izuku nods and offers them both a cup of tea; the shop is quiet that day so he can spend time with his friend and her demon.
"I don't smell other demons on you," Ashido observes after a while.
"I don't summon demons," Izuku says calmly, a little bit amused by Ashido's surprised expression. It's fair since most of the witches have summoned one at least once in their lives.
His own mother did once and it ended up with her having a baby and being abandoned years later, which was not a good experience. But Izuku doesn't like to talk about that and he doesn't think any of them are interested in that.
"Why not?"
"His blood can only summon very powerful demons apparently," Uraraka says, surprising Izuku who looks at her in confusion. "Your mother explained it to me once. No matter the symbol he writes, his blood immediately summons another completely different."
Ashido puts a hand under her chin, like she's deep in thought; Izuku gets a little bit distracted by her horns and wonders if it'd be rude of him to get out his notebook and start taking notes about her.
"That's... interesting," she comments after a while. "Are you an omega?"
"A what?"
"Mina, I told you humans are not like that," Uraraka says, like she's had that conversation before. "We don't have a second gender."
"Like betas?"
"No... well, yes, just like them."
"What are you talking about?" The green haired witch asks, as curiosity and excitement make him forget about politeness.
"Demons have secondary genders," Uraraka tells him, chuckling when Izuku's eyes glimmering with curiosity and excitement. She's never seen another witch so hungry for knowledge.
"We can be alphas, omegas or betas," Ashido cuts in, happy to talk about her kind. "Alphas and omegas usually make good couples, but there are all kinds of them."
Izuku listens with undivided attention and finally makes his notebook appear because that's just so fascinating to miss.
"Wait," he cuts her off, immediately feeling terrible about interrupting, knowing he's probably blushing to the tip of his ears at the moment. "You mentioned something about bites earlier, what did you mean?"
"Instead of getting married, like humans do," Ashido says. "Demons mark their partners with a mating bite; it has to be done on the scent glands, which are on our necks."
The information unlocks a couple of memories in Izuku's brain that he didn't know he had up until now.
There's a blond demon with red horns and red eyes that looks like a kid and is telling Izuku that he needs to bite his neck immediately.
"The demon I summoned tried to bite my neck, that's why my mom got scared..."
"Was he a pup when that happened?" Ashido moves closer, eyes shining with excitement. "I mean the demon, was he a pup?"
"A pup?"
"She means a little kid."
"Oh. Yeah."
"A blond gremlin with piercing red eyes? Very bossy for his age?"
"Uhh... something like that," Izuku mumbles, having a very bad feeling about where the conversation is heading already.
"Are you Deku?" She says excitedly. "I can't believe I found the famous Deku!"
"My name is Midoriya Izuku actually," he corrects her, having the feeling that he has heard someone else call him that before.
"This is amazing!" Ashido squeaks in delight. "Blasty's ridiculous longing will finally come to an end! We need to summon him!"
"Blasty as in the king of the demons?" Uraraka quirks up a brow at her demon friend.
"Yes!"
"No," Uraraka and Izuku utter at the same time, shaking their heads. The pink demon starts pouting.
"Why not?"
"That's a very powerful demon, I won't be able to control him if he decides to do something," Uraraka replies, earning another pout from Ashido.
The demon even rolls her eyes at them.
"Alright, listen. I know he looks like a gremlin who's constantly angry at his own existence, but he'd never harm his Deku."
"My name is Izuku," he corrects her again. Suddenly, another one of his memories unlocks. "Are you talking about Kacchan?"
Both girls (the demon and the witch) stare at him like he just said something in another language.
"His name is Bakugo Katsuki, but I think I heard him mention something like that to Kiri... you used to call him that, right?"
"I..." Izuku starts feeling weird out of the sudden. He's dizzy. "I don't know."
He gets closer to the main cabinet behind the counter and takes one of the potions he makes for himself. Ashido grabs one of his arms to get his attention and Izuku gets a glimpse of a very tall and muscular blond demon sitting on a throne with a permanent scowl upon his face.
He doesn't have visions like his grandmother did, so it's weird for him to see things like that and it's even more puzzling and confusing when he gets the impression that the demon stares back at him for a brief moment.
"Deku?"
Instinctively, he shakes Ashido's hand away and takes a few steps back.
"Alright, that's enough," Uraraka takes the pink demon's hand to lead her towards the exit. "It's time to go."
"Wait! At least give him a chance!" Ashido pleads. "He won't hurt you, I promise!"
"It's a dangerous practice for someone who has never done that before, like me," Izuku explains, besides, he can't believe the demon king is the same as the little bossy demon who tried to bite him once. She must be mistaken.
He gives Uraraka the potions she had commissioned a couple of weeks ago and decides to close the shop early that day because he feels so very tired suddenly.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Ashido."
"Same, cutie." She sighs, before waving at him. "Although I still believe you should summon him."
"I don't think that's a good idea."

wattpad link , masterlist , previous part
it was barely midday, yet it had already been a more than eventful day at the campsite. everyone seemed on edge and rightfully so, people were at each other's throats. y/n had the unfortunate luck of getting stuck in the crossfire of all the chaos.
"you've caught us at a bad time, i promise it's not always like this," lori sighed, rubbing a hand over her face in frustration, "we're grateful for the food you brought.. with daryl."
"that's a shame," y/n leaned against a cushion in the back seat of the rv, a smug look on her face, "seems fun here."
lori blinked at the girl, slightly puzzled by her. fun? the world was ending and society as everyone knew it had collapsed and this little girl thinks it's fun? lori nods, deciding to look past her comments, "okay.. dale told me your name's y/n, is that right?"
"mhm," y/n hummed in response, getting comfortable on the cushions, "man, this is way better than sleepin' on a tree."
"you've been sleeping.. in trees?" lori asked, "how long have you been on your own?"
y/n shut her eyes, resting her arms behind her head, getting comfortable in the back of the rv, "the biters can't get ya up there."
lori hummed in acknowledgment, y/n was a smart kid and lori could see that, "can i ask you about your family?"
y/n opened her eyes and stared at lori for a few seconds before responding, "how 'bout you ask me one question and then i get to ask you a question."
lori laughed, "seems only fair, fine then... where's your parents?"
"my dad's in atlanta probably with his buddies or somethin' by now, but i left 'im to go to my mom, she's in the countryside and i've been making my way there."
lori furrowed her eyebrows at the mention of atlanta, "honey... atlanta was bombed.. there's nothin' left there."
y/n squinted her eyes at lori, "you sure?"
"i'm so sorry.." lori gulped, "my son and i were headed to atlanta when this all happened, we never got close since the highway was so packed... then there were bombs. they bombed the entire city, i'm sorry honey."
y/n nodded, taking in the information and let out a sigh, "hm. that's a shame."
"guessin' you didn't have a great home life then?" lori frowned at the girl.
"hey? we agreed only one question, s'my turn now," y/n shot a pointed look at lori, "rick.. your husband?"
"he is," her face fell slightly at the mention of him, he was currently getting ready to go on a rescue mission for a piece of shit, "my turn... let's see... what is... your favourite colour?"
lori raises an eyebrow at the girl with a wide smile on her face. she knew not to touch the subject of her family again and decided to keep the questions lighthearted.
"seriously?" y/n scoffed, "that's your question?"
lori feigned offense at her response and scoffed back at the girl, "well excuse me little miss, you said i could ask anythin' i wanted and right now i'm dyin' to know what your favourite colour is."
y/n chuckled at the woman's enthusiasm, the slight increase in her southern drawl brought a smile to y/n's face. she rolls her eyes at lori, her mouth scrunching up to the side to hide her smile, "i dunno, probably green?"
"guessin' you've been seeing a lot of it nowadays," lori nodded, a soft smile on her face. the kind of smile that only a mother was capable of, it made y/n feel warm seeing it.
"what's daryl's deal?" y/n questions, her face scrunching up at the thought of the man, "seems like an asshole."
"hey, watch your mouth." lori points a finger at the girl.
"sorry, ma'am." the girl's manners were a surprise to lori, she hadn't expected it. y/n was plenty sarcastic and seemed pretty guarded, but she could also be polite and respectful. it confused lori, but she just assumed that y/n's parents were strict on manners.
"it's alright, hon," lori smiled at the girl.
"so what's his deal?" y/n repeats her question, tilting her head, "how do you people know each other?"
"well.. we don't really know each other all that well. shane, rick and my son are the only one's i know from.. well, before." lori explains, fidgeting with the necklace around her neck, "most of us met on the highway, we were all stuck there for a while and eventually we ended up here... as for daryl, no one really knows much about 'im, but he provides for the group, so none of us can complain."
"what about his brother?"
"it's my turn to ask a question," lori chuckles as y/n frowns at her, "how old are you?"
"i'm twelve."
"you're the same age as my son," lori smiles, "and another girl here, carol's daughter."
"cool.." y/n pauses to think of her next question, "what's one thing you miss from before?"
lori chuckled, a few things coming to mind, "oh wow, it'd have to be my phone, i miss texting my friends.. askin' when the next book club was gonna be... probably sounds boring to you, huh?"
y/n smiled at the woman and shook her head, "no ma'am, my mom was the leader of her book club, serious business."
"well, maybe me and your mom could start our own new book club," lori smiled back at y/n. she had to admit that the girl was nice to talk to when she let her guard down and dropped the sarcasm. lori had been given the job of figuring out what y/n's 'deal' was - whatever shane meant by that.
"she always tried to get me to join her meetings," y/n stared at her hands, as she fidgeted nervously, "i used to hate it. i struggle with readin' so.. never liked it, but now i wish i went with 'er more."
lori smiles sadly at the girl, offering a reassuring pat to her shoulder, "i know it may not be the same, but dale's got some books, we could read together one day, until you find your mom that is."
y/n looked up at lori and chuckled, "tryin' to get me to join a book club?"
lori laughs and shakes her head, "can't blame a gal for trying, can you?"
before y/n could respond, the rv door opened and shane stepped inside, "hey.. how's it goin' in here, everything okay?"
"just talking about starting a book club, weren't we y/n?" lori looked at y/n with a smile.
"yes ma'am." y/n nods, her eyes watching shane carefully as he stands by the door. something about him rubbed y/n the wrong way, it was an unexplainable feeling - just something in her gut.
shane nodded back, "okay then, rick's about to leave if you wanna speak with him."
"you gonna be okay for a few minutes, hon?" lori asked y/n, her face scrunched up in concern.
"yes ma'am."
"okay," lori nodded, she didn't take the girl's sudden switch in attitude personally. the two may have been joking and swapping stories previously, but lori understood that y/n may be on guard around people she hadn't yet spoken with, or maybe she was just shy. she was an interesting character to say the least - one she hoped would stick around.
lori left the rv, but shane stayed inside, watching y/n. he had already said his piece to rick, so he had no need to leave.
"y/n, right?" shane raises an eyebrow at the girl, taking a few steps closer to her. the floor of the rv creaks ever so slightly under him.
"yes sir." y/n crossed her arms over her chest, staring back at him intensely, trying to read the man.
"sir?" shane chuckles, running a hand through his hair, "ain't you polite?"
"i can be." y/n hisses.
"okay, okay, i get it, you don't know me so you're a little on edge, i get it," he raised his hands up to show he meant no harm, "just have a few questions for you s'all."
y/n stayed quiet for a few seconds and nodded to tell him to ask his questions.
"you on your own out there?" shane leaned against the door to the toilet, his body blocking the walkway that led to the exit. she knew he did it on purpose, but she hadn't intended on running out anyways, "ain't got no folks out there waiting on you?"
"i'm alone."
he hummed in response, impressed with the fact she had survived, "where's your folks at?"
y/n rolled her eyes and turned to face the window across from her, "is that all you people are gonna ask about?"
shane scoffed, rubbing a hand through his hair, "well excuse me for being curious why a kid's runnin' wild 'round the woods alone like some kid raised by wolves."
"y'know, curiosity killed the cat." y/n turned back to look at shane, shrugging her shoulders.
"how'd you survive out there?" he ignored her previous statement, not wanting to entertain a threat from a little girl.
"slept in places biters couldn't get me. places people wouldn't be lookin'."
"hm. that's smart." shane nodded, "you goin' back to the woods, or you gonna stay here?"
y/n raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised that her staying at the camp was even on the table at all, "stay?"
"the others are thankful for the food you 'n daryl brought back," shane paused, readjusting his stance to face y/n, "you know how to survive, you're resourceful. that much's obvious. we could use someone like you. besides, i ain't gonna send a kid away."
y/n squinted at the man, looking at the way he held himself. she rolls her eyes at him and asks a question that shane didn't expect, "you a cop?"
shane squinted at y/n, his head tilting to the side, "how'd you guess?"
"the way you're talkin' n' the way you carry yourself," y/n shrugged, she could have guessed with her eyes closed that the man was a cop, she had seen a fair few of them around her father growing up, "i was thinking military earlier, but that chokehold ya had on daryl seemed like you've been wantin' do that for a while.. now you can since the law don't mean nothing now."
shane laughed, "you got some brain in that head of yours."
"ain't got no time to be stupid."
"so you wanna stay or not?" shane repeated his earlier question, "you're free to leave any time."
y/n looked at her hands for a few seconds, debating whether or not she wanted to stay, "might as well, i caught those damn squirrels, it'd be a shame to not eat."
"watch your mouth." shane raises an eyebrow at her language.
"yes sir."
"no need to call me sir, this ain't nazi germany. shane's just fine," shane laughs, shaking his head slightly, "now c'mon out, meet some of the folks here, we won't bite."
y/n let's out a deep sigh. she knew that she'd have to meet the other people, but with how on edge everyone has been since her arrival, despite her not being the cause of the camp's anxiety, she'd rather not talk to any of them.
"hey there again," dale smiled at y/n, crossing his arms over his chest, "what're you up to now?"
"i'm supposed to meet the people at the camp. shane said i should and decide whether i want to stay or not." y/n surveys the campsite whilst explaining her plans to dale, scouting the people she'd have to talk to.
"well are ya gonna stay for dinner at least?" from what dale gathered, y/n was on her own in the woods and he didn't feel right sending a child back out there. not after what he had seen.
"duh," y/n rolled her eyes, "i caught more than half of that, i ain't letting y'all rob me."
dale laughed in response, amused at her words, "well, let me take you to meet everyone then, huh? i'll make sure each conversation is nice and short so you're not stuck listening to people go on and on."
y/n let out an exasperated sigh and rolled her eyes again, "fine, but if i poke your side it means i wanna stop chattin'."
"just pat my arm, no need to poke me kiddo."
"she doesn't act like she's a child. she definitely doesn't act her age at least.." lori muttered, staring at the newest addition to the group from afar. y/n had been sat talking with carl and sophia for a while, so lori kept a watchful eye - she trusted the girl enough to be around her son and she trusted the people at the camp, but she couldn't be too trustful. something about the girl didn't seem right, "it's just the start of all this mess and she's already more mature than she should be..."
"maybe that's a good thing," shane shrugged, "the world's changed, kids gotta toughen up now."
lori let out a sigh, shaking her head, "you don't get what i'm sayin' shane. she's the same age as carl for crying out loud. if she's grown up that fast, it's only a matter of time before carl stops being a kid too," lori brushed her hair out of her face anxiously, "this can't be the world, kids need to be kids, families shouldn't be broken apart- hell, kids shouldn't be armed with weapons, she should barely know how to use a knife like that."
shane rolled his eyes and sighed, "i get it, you don't want your boy to grow up too fast, but it's not a bad thing she knows what she's doin'. could be an asset to us, you seen the haul she 'n daryl got together? we'd never go hungry lori. carl won't go hungry."
lori nodded, acknowledging y/n's skills, "you're right, but i still feel sorry for her, she's clearly on edge around this many people... don't know what she's been through, but it doesn't seem like anything good."
"so... d'ya talk with rick?" shane's arms tensed at his own question.
"we talked," lori nodded, "shane. you have to understand that what we were doing is over. you told me my husband was dead, i didn't know any better."
shane clenched his jaw, tilting his head to the side to pretend he was watching the other people at the camp, "i thought he was dead, okay? i wouldn't lie about that, not rick."
y/n glanced over at lori and shane sat on a log speaking in hushed voices, but she could tell by their body language that neither of the two were happy, or comfortable.
"what's that guy's problem?" y/n gestured over at shane.
"oh, that's shane. he's my dad's friend," carl shrugged, "he saved me and my mom, he's cool."
"seems intense," y/n muttered, looking over at sophia, who just silently fidgeted with her fingers, "you okay?"
sophia looked up from her hands and nodded, a polite smile on her face, "yes.. thank you."
"sophia's not really good with new people, she's shy," carl explained, "there's a few other kids at the camp, but they're with their family right now."
"cool," y/n nodded, wondering when dale was going to return from his bathroom break to relieve her from the awkward conversation with the two kids.
"how did you survive on your own? it's none of my business, but my mom said you were out there alone.. is that true?" sophia asked, her voice meek and cautious, y/n recognised the voice as the one she'd used around her father. instantly y/n had figured sophia out, y/n knew she could trust her.
"started hunting and tracking when i was first able to, i've been doin' that to avoid people and catch dinner," y/n shrugged and readjusted the way she was sat. she sat with her legs crossed on the dirt, the position reminding her of her time at school.
"you were on your own?" carl asks, his eyes wide with amazement.
"yeah."
"that's awesome!" carl grins, admiring y/n's ability to survive on her own.
"awesome?" y/n questioned, frowning at the boy, "you really think that's awesome?"
"uh- i mean... yeah?"
y/n scoffs at carl, her eyebrows furrowing together in frustration at his naivety, "really? awesome? if you had been out there by yourself, you wouldn't think it was awesome. people die out there."
"well, you didn't?" carl responds, unsure why y/n seemed so irritated, he meant what he said as a compliment.
"that's 'cause i know what i'm doing, but i stand just as much a chance as everyone else out there." y/n crosses her arms over her chest, looking back at the rv to see if dale was back yet. he sure was taking his damn time.
"i think you have a better chance than most people.." sophia smiles shyly at y/n. y/n seemed unpredictable and sophia was slightly intimidated by her, but sophia was hopeful that she'd win y/n over and gain a new friend.
"yeah! you can hunt and stuff and you have a bow." carl nods in agreement with sophia. he admired y/n. she was the same age as him, yet she knew things that he didn't. he could learn a lot about survival from y/n if she stayed.
"i've seen people get shot for no reason other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. i've seen biters tear people's limbs and organs apart. nothing about anything that's happened is awesome. you have to take this shit seriously, or you die. got it?" y/n talks with a serious tone, but keeps her voice down to avoid adults overhearing her.
carl and sophia both share an uneasy look after listening to what y/n said and they both aren't sure how to respond. they're silent, horrified by the thought of what y/n had seen, but luckily dale was back to relieve them from the unnerving conversation.
"hey carl, sophia," dale smiles at the other two children, "i see you've met y/n."
dale takes note of the expressions on carl and sophia's faces. they seem distraught, but they nod in response to dale.
"hey kid," dale taps y/n on the shoulder, "there's something i need your opinion on, follow me?"
y/n nods and stands up from the ground, grateful to have an excuse to leave carl and sophia. she follows dale into the rv and he sits down in the booth, gesturing to the seat across for him for y/n to sit down.
"what happened out there?" dale asks, raising an eyebrow at y/n, "they looked a bit pale, did you.. say something?"
y/n realises that dale didn't need her opinion on anything and she sighs, shrugging her shoulders, "i just told 'em what they needed to hear."
dale's face holds an unamused expression as he looks over at y/n, leaning his arms on the table that separates them, "i know you've probably seen a lot out there during your time alone, but carl and sophia haven't.. you might want to be a little.. sensitive."
"sensitive?" y/n's face scrunches up in disagreement, "i'm just tellin' them how it is. sheltering them does nothing. if anything, it'll just get 'em killed faster."
dale sighs at y/n's response, "what i'm trying to say is that you might scare them."
"good. they should be scared. everyone here should be scared, this ain't some game or family camping trip," y/n scoffs, leaning back in her seat.
before dale could respond to y/n, the rv door opens and lori walks inside.
great. y/n thinks to herself. those little shits ratted on me.
"hey dale, could you give us a minute?" lori smiles at the older man as he leaves the rv. dale was slightly relieved that lori wanted to speak with y/n, he hoped that she would have better luck getting through to y/n.
"hey y/n." lori takes a seat where dale previously was sitting, "how are you liking the camp so far? i hope everyone's been nice to you so far."
"cut to the chase," y/n rolls her eyes, "i know carl ratted me out."
"he didn't rat you out, he's just worried about you," lori smiles nervously at y/n, there really was no beating around the bush with this girl, "apparently you said some things that made him and sophia concerned?"
"they're the ones that said me being on my own was 'awesome'. i was just trying to tell them they were wrong and they shouldn't say stuff like that."
"well, they both are sorry that they upset you, they didn't mean to be insensitive to you," lori pauses, nervously chewing on her lip, "in the future, please don't say things like that to them.. i don't want them to be too scared to sleep.. it's been hard enough recently."
y/n thinks about the countless sleepless nights she's had, the long nights where she feared for her life. oh, but she wouldn't want carl and sophia to struggle with getting to sleep.
"yeah, whatever." y/n was done with the conversation at that point. she had nothing else to say. she did partially feel guilty for saying those things to carl and sophia, it was a little harsh and after all they just wanted to befriend her.
"squirrel's ready to eat, some of the others were cooking whilst rick and the rest left," lori turned towards the door and looked back at y/n, "c'mon before it's all gone."
y/n didn't respond, but she nodded at lori before following her out of the rv.
lori could tell that y/n's demeanor had changed, she was much quieter, but definitely more alert. she observed, or at least that's what y/n had been doing whilst they ate - not once did y/n's eyes stop watching the other people around her.
"you don't have to be on guard here, you know that right?" lori whispered, rubbing y/n's back softly. y/n flinched from the touch, but didn't push her away. lori takes note of how y/n's body stiffens at her touch and takes note of it, her reaction confirming the thoughts lori had been having about y/n and her life before.
"you always gotta be alert," y/n shrugged, staring at ed with a frown on her face, "you figure people out faster that way."
"figure out people? what do you mean?" lori's face scrunched up in confusion.
"my dad was a lot like ed," y/n looked up at lori, "i'm guessing that's sophia's dad."
"y'know, you could've been a really good detective." lori complimented her, "what were the clues?"
"i figured carol was her mother, i saw carol and ed together - my mom and dad were like them before they split up..." y/n sighed, "i was like sophia when i was younger."
"she's your age, y/n?" lori chuckled.
"i know, but i..." y/n rolled her eyes at her own words and sighed, "i don't know what i'm saying forget about it."
"i know we just met, but there's not many other people around nowadays, so we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other, if you do stay that is", lori shrugged, attempting to make y/n feel like she had a choice whether she left or not, though lori wasn't so keen on letting a child leave a safe place with adults. lori didn't want y/n to feel caged in, "you can talk to me whenever you want about anything you want, okay hun?"
y/n nodded and went back to people watching, "this fire should be put out soon, you keep it up any longer biters will show up, or people."
lori nodded and passed the information onto shane. y/n remained at the fireplace, watching people like she had been doing before.
sophia slipped away from her mother's side and sat down next to y/n in front of the fire, "hi again.."
y/n glanced at sophia from the corners of her eyes, "hi."
"i'm sorry about carl..." she sighs, "it's been so long since there was a new kid at the camp, we were just happy..."
y/n smiles a little, trying to reassure sophia. the last thing y/n wanted was to make her feel like she did anything wrong, "it's okay sophia."
"no problem..." she smiled back nervously, "you must be pretty brave though, right?"
y/n frowned at sophia and tilted her head to the side, "no. i hid the entire time i was on my own. that's not brave."
sophia shook her head and smiled, "if i was on my own, i don't think i'd survive."
"you would," y/n replied almost a little too quickly, "don't say that."
"i guess being on your own makes you a pretty good liar too, huh?" sophia giggles, making y/n laugh.
"shut up, i'm serious."
"i'm glad there's a girl my age here now.. i was getting bored of just talking to carl," sophia whispered, "we're going to have so much fun."
y/n smiled at sophia, she didn't get mad by her words like she had at carl earlier. she figured the two hadn't seen anything yet. never saw a man get torn apart in front of them. never seen another kid get shot point blank. none of it. they had been shielded from it all and as much as she felt it was unfair, she didn't want to be the one to ruin their outlook on life. they still had hope. she wasn't going to take that away from them.
who knows, maybe y/n could allow herself to be a kid for just a bit longer. there were a few capable people at camp that could protect her. maybe she could allow herself to befriend sophia.
"yeah.. can't wait."

The moon and the sun
Chapter Two: Breathe.
Tumblr media
"Why can't you do one simple thing right, hm?"
"I'm sorry, mother."
"Whatever. Go. Do it right this time, or at least try."
"Okay, I'm sorry."
☽-☼
You walked with him, the awkwardness in the air consuming you. You wished you could just leave.
“And that’s uh, my family’s marui pod.” You pointed and he nodded
You were now walking by the shore, staring at the sky
“Thanks for showing me around…I’m Neteyam, by the way” He spoke
“Nice to meet you, Neteyam. I’m y/n” You smiled, reaching out your hand, he smiled at the gesture and took your hand, shaking it
“Nice to meet you as well” He responded, and you continued walking, “So, why don’t you teach us your ways like your siblings?” He asked
Your smile faltered, not knowing what to say.
Oh sorry but it seems like my dad forgot that i exist and didn't really mention me to anyone so i don't really know?
Okay maybe not the best way to answer
“Oh uh, I don’t know. My dad thought two was enough, I guess” You answered, and he nodded
“Well, Tsireya and Ao’nung can teach Kiri and Lo’ak. How about you teach me? Just me.” He asked
You were quiet for a moment, “Why though? My brother and sister are excellent teachers. They’re the best at everything, I’m sure you’ll want to learn from the highly skilled.” You said
He furrowed his eyebrows, confused as to why you’d speak of them as if they were superior to you? As if they weren’t just your siblings?
“I'm sure you’re just as good as them, or maybe better! Besides, my siblings are a handful. I think they’ll have enough trouble dealing with them.” Neteyam said
Why do you want me? I’m not as good as them, you thought to yourself
“Okay, I’ll teach you. But I may not be a good teacher” You warned
“We’ll see” He chuckled, you looked to him and chuckled as well
☽-☼
The next day you had breakfast with your family and got ready to leave
"Hold on" Ronal said, you stopped and turned to her, "Where are you going, child?"
"I'm going with my siblings to teach the Sully kids." You said
"Oh" She said, the sudden reminder that her husband didn't really mention you to them crossed her mind, ''Be careful" She lightly smiled
"Okay, bye mom" You said as you walked out
Tonowari walked in a couple of moments after, seeing Ronal's sullen expression
"Is everything alright, dear?" He asked, concern showing on his face
She was quiet for a moment, till she nodded
☽-☼
You swam in the water, observing Neteyam. How he goes to get air every couple of seconds, how he's slow in the water, how he just seems lost
You swam up to the surface, giggling at how he was so out of breath
He looked at you, wiping his face, "What, what is funny?" He asked
"You just seem so helpless" You said, giggling, you suddenly stopped, realizing it might have been a not so nice thing to say, "I'm sorry" You were quick to apologize, he smiled and lightly chuckled
"No no, it's fine. That's because I am" He responded and you smiled
"Come, let me help you" You sat, grabbing his arm and leading him back to the land since you had gone so far
You two sat down, crossing your legs
"First, let's fix the breathing. You keep swimming back up to get air"
"How do I hold my breath for longer like you?" He asked
"I will help. We will do a breathing exercise, it helped me when I was young" You sat and he nodded, "Now, take a deep breath." You said, doing the same, you looked at him for a moment and grabbed his arm
"Breath from here" You said, placing his hand on his lower stomach, "Do it with me, let your heartbeat be slow and steady" You softly said, taking a deep breath for him, you removed his hand and placed yours instead, "Let's do it one more time" you spoke, looking into his eyes and taking a deep breath, his eyes met yours and he froze
"Your heartbeat is fast, you need to be calmer" You noted
"Sorry" He quickly said, looking away and doing it again
"Better" You smiled, and he smiled back, you looked at the water to see your siblings showing the others the Ilu, "Come, let's move on to something else. We will have to do this exercise again, but for now, let me show you something" You said, you both headed to where the others were
"There you were, bro! I thought you disappeared, why didn't you take lessons?" Lo'ak said as he saw you two walking by
"I was" He said
Tsireya and Ao'nung looked to you, confused to see you there
"She was teaching me" Neteyam said, the others nodded while your siblings just looked at each other and moved on
You saw them and wanted the world to swallow you whole.

Enjoy!
Currently listening to: In the Middle of the night by Ellen Duhé- “I’m getting what is mine, you gon get yours.”
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You took a deep breath as you stared at your reflection in the bathroom mirror. The bags under your eyes indicated that you had gone a few days with little to no sleep. You couldn't remember the last time you got a good nights rest especially with the impending occasion coming up. There was a light knock at the door and with the turn of the knob your door was opened. Your mother cheerfully walked into the bathroom all dressed up for tonight's dinner. Your eyes drifted to your room which had been disturbed with the evening sunlight pouring, curtains you could've sworn were closed before you dragged yourself in here.
"Darling you really should open those curtains more often. It feels like a morgue every time I come in here," She huffed out.
Ah, so she took it upon herself to open them.
"I brought the necklace I wore on the night of my engagement dinner." She said turning her attention to the dark blue velvet box, setting it gently on the counter.
She quickly frowned upon seeing the state you were in.
"Why haven't you gotten ready yet? You don't look at all delighted; you know how important this dinner is tonight! We've waited twenty years for-"
"I know mother." You quickly said trying to save yourself from the lecture that would no doubt make your family late to the dinner if she rambled on.
You met her strict gaze in the mirror and mumbled an apology as you tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. Her face softened as she walked over to you; her hands finding their way to your shoulders.
"Please try to understand this will make both our families stronger. You were practically raised as a Zoldyck, but we need it to be official." Your mother said as you looked at her reflection in the mirror.
"I grew and trained with Milluki," You said as you shrugged her hands off your shoulders. "Shouldn't I be marrying him instead? I know nothing about Illumi."
You watched in the reflection the way your mother rolled her eyes clearly displeased with your response.
"You are well aware of our agreement that the eldest daughter goes to the eldest Zoldyck son. Honestly darling you act as if this is the end of the world? Your father and I knew nothing about one another and we turned out just fine. Now please get ready, we wouldn't want to keep your husband to be waiting anymore than he already has!" She exclaimed as she made her way out of the bathroom.
You knew that your parents had an arranged marriage like their parents before them. You've lost count of the times your mother would tell you stories about how your father wasn't who she chose to marry but that didn't mean that he didn't eventually become the love of her life. They built an entire life together which lead to the successful artillery business they ran and you. You knew the ties your family had with the Zoldyck's had been strictly business but now that you were of age it meant that bond would be taken from business to family. No matter what your parents told you this was nothing but another business deal to you.
You hadn't always dreaded being married to the oldest of the famous assassins. In fact you recall on several occasions Milluki teasing you for getting lost in thought and scribbling Illumi's name over and over again when you should've been studying up on jobs you'd taken on. However, despite training day and night with Milluki for years you had only laid your eyes on Illumi twice. You were around nine years old when you saw him for the first time. You and Milluki were were practicing ren when Illumi came home from a successful training mission at Heaven's Arena.
You couldn't take your eyes off the way he moved so effortlessly; you punched Milluki for teasing you for staring at his brother for longer than needed. The second time you finally came face to face with Illumi at the age of thirteen. You had learned you were a transmitter with your speciality being in poisons. Although you had successful learned how to use nen Silva knew you had a long way to go before you'd be able to use it flawlessly. He wanted to teach you the important lesson on when to back down from an opponent where success wasn't guaranteed.
You knew Illumi was stronger than you and Milluki combined but you refused to let him believe you were weak. After all you had been training day and night with all the toxins you could get your hands on. You cringed at the memory of Illumi looking down at your defeated body, you groaned as you held onto your side only to look up to meet his emotionless eyes.
"This is all you've been able to accomplish? You are the weakest out of us all. You won't be much use to me when we marry. Train harder or I'll kill you." He said flatly as you watched him turn to walk away not missing the way your heart skipped a beat.
You made a promise to yourself then to get stronger even though you didn't have much of a choice. Not only would you be a disgrace to your family but you'd pay for it with your life. Now at the age of twenty it had been seven years since you had seen Illumi and you dreaded it. You didn't trust your mind or your body around him; all logically thinking out the window when he was near. Although you'd gotten stronger and the training you completed with Mulluki had paid off part of you felt you'd never be enough for Illumi.
Not smart enough.
Not strong enough.
Not pretty enough.
You rolled your eyes knowing you were stalling at this point because this engagement was going to happen whether you liked it or not. And with that you started to get ready for the dinner with your future husband and family in law. Once you showered you wrapped a towel around yourself, walking back to your mirror to quickly do your makeup and hair. You carefully put on your black octavia dress, making sure not to ruin your work. You opened the box your mother had left behind and ran your fingertips over the smooth texture of the pearls. You removed the necklace and put it on yourself. The cool pearls making contact with your warm skin caused you to shiver.
Here goes nothing.
The flight to Kukuroo Mountain was about an hour long; you stared out the window as your parent's reminded you to be on your best behavior as if you were a child. You knew what the Zoldyck's expected of you so you chose to nod every once in a while as if you are paying attention, to give your parents the peace of mind. Before you knew it you had arrived to the testing gate and passed through it with ease. You reached your hand out to pet Mike as he bent down to receive your affection. You and your parents made your way up to the butlers quarters where they escorted you to the Zoldyck mansion. The memories seemed to flood back once you set foot inside. From all the times you ran up and down the halls playing hide and seek with Killua to nagging Milluki to get out of his room for once and train with you. You couldn't help but genuinely smile as you passed by the many portraits of the Zolydck family on the way to the banquet hall. Your parents pointing out the few paintings you were in when you were younger, voicing their joy about how tonight would officially make you apart of the family. As tradition you were seated at the end of the elegant dinning table; you ran your fingertips over the fine wood as you looked to see those around you. Your parents sat to the left of you while the Zoldyck's sat at the right. You sheepishly waved at Milluki who scoffed at you and looked else where. You couldn't help but pout at your childhood friend. Silvia took notice and leaned closer to you.
"He envy's Illumi." He said.
You paused for a moment then looked back at Milluki with wide eyes. Jealous of Illumi? For being engaged to you? You shook your head at the thought of the hidden feelings Milluki had for you.
"He shouldn't." You mumble as you look over to the empty seat next to you.
"Of all the day's to be late!" Kikyo hissed.
The butlers began bringing out courses of the meal out. You were able to start eating when you felt a presence causing you to look to your left towards a door leading into the banquet hall. That's when you saw him. You felt yourself exhale a shaky breath as he made his way over to you. His hair was much longer than the last time you had seen him, he'd gotten taller, and more toned. Yet his dark eyes remained the same and they watched you just as closely.
"Y/n." Illumi spoke as he took his place next to you.
You were at a lost for words as Kikyo chimed in.
"You're late! You left your bride to be waiting!" She exclaimed only to cause Silva to raise his hand to calm his wife down.
Silvia suddenly rose from his seat and cleared his throat. He had prepared a speech about the agreement of a proposal to the two oldest of each family. Illumi stood at one point as his father continued on; he grabbed your hand which caught you off guard. You felt Illumi's cold fingertips slowly slide a sliver band on to your ring finger. You gazed up at Illumi as he held on to your hand a little longer before letting go and returning to his seat. You were going to officially be a Zoldyck. The rest of the evening was filled with your parents talking with the Zoldyck's about planning the wedding and future business deals. But once your mother uttered the word grandchild you couldn't help but start choking on the glass of water you had been drinking. Everyone turned their gaze to you as you coughed; Illumi wrapped his arms around you and helped you stand.
"Excuse us." He said as you both walked out of the banquet hall.
You managed to calm yourself down once you were away from the judgmental stare your parents were giving you.
"I'm fine Illumi," You said as you realized you were still walking so closely to one another. "Really I am. We can go back." You said as you broke out of Illumi’s grasp.
"Would you not like to take a walk with me?" He suddenly said.
"Sure." You finally said after hesitating for a moment.
You walked in silence down the hall and out a door that led you into the courtyard. You took a deep breath of fresh air and slowly exhaled. You looked up at the night sky that glistened with millions of stars. You both stayed silent as the creatures of dusk seemed to come to life; chirping and croaking around you.
"May I ask you something?" Illumi finally said.
"Of course." You said.
"Are you uncomfortable around me?" He asked which made you look over at him.
"Well," You hesitated as you started to fiddle with your ring. "It's been seven years since the last time I saw you Illumi. We haven't spoke much these past few years and you just slide a ring on my finger just an hour ago signifying that we are to be married."
He looked over at you and cocked his head to the side.
"It isn't a surprise to you is it? We've been arranged to get married since you were born." He said plainly as if he were talking about the weather or what he had for breakfast.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is that it all happened so fast," You bite your lip knowing you couldn't hold back what you had been wanting to say since you saw him this evening "It's nice to see you again Illumi."
He hummed and stepped closer to you; his fingertips brushing a piece of hair behind your ear.
"You've grown up." He said, rubbing his hand lightly against your cheek. "You're quite beautiful and not nearly as annoying as you used to be."
You groaned and pushed his hand away from you as if he was nuisance yet your face heating up said otherwise.
"Way to ruin the moment." You huffed out.
"I can tell you've gotten stronger as well." He said and you nodded your head.
"I've been training hard. There's no shortage of poisonous plants to learn from." You said.
Silence fell between you again yet this time it wasn't uncomfortable. You felt yourself relax as the tension slowly slip away.
"You're more sure of yourself now." He said abruptly.
You paused to think back to all the long training sessions you endured, the painful limits you pushed your body to, and the long nights you'd longed to see Illumi and prove to him that you weren't the weakest.
"I just want to be a good wife for you." You said. "This may be an arranged marriage but I hope along the way you can see me as more than a business deal."
You watch as Illumi picked up your left hand and place a soft kiss onto the silver ring he had placed on your hand earlier. His warm lips were a significant contrast to his cold fingers that held onto your hand. You let go of a breath you didn't even know you were holding watching how gentle he was being with you.
"I've waited for so long to see this ring on your finger. You'll make a fine wife." Illumi said softly.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
It had been a month since the engagement became official and you felt like it was all just a fever dream. You hadn't seen Illumi since the night of the dinner and you couldn't help that sinking feeling that had followed you for so many years; was he distancing himself from you again? You couldn't even get your mind off things because the mother's on both sides insisted that the wedding happen immediately. Which also meant your mother forbidding you for taking on any jobs to help with planning; the lack of work and his absence caused your mind to stir. You were in your old room at the Zoldyck mansion, gazing at your reflection as a few maids fixed the long train of the dress your mother surprised you with. You nervously played with the ring on your finger as your eyes traveled to the intricate pattern in the lace, there was something so familiar about the dress but you couldn't exactly pin point what. Your eyes traveled to the tall window that was in the corner of the room where your mother and Kikyo sat at a small table drinking tea. The same table you sat at countless nights looking out into the courtyard yearning for Illumi to come home to you. The maids stepped to the side as you turned to face them, you placing your arms behind your back. You watched as your mother's eyes watered as she stood from her chair and made her way to you.
"What do you think my dear?" Kikyo smiling before taking a sip of her tea.
"It's beautiful." You say as you brought your hands to your sides to run your fingertips over the fabric.
"This use to be my dress,' Your mother said as she grabbed hold of your hands. "And it fits you wonderfully!"
You turned to look at yourself in the mirror once again feeling like a fool for not recognize the dress immediately. Your mother had shown you endless photos of her wedding day and the dress was the focal point of every photo.
"This means so much to me. Thank you mother." You said and smiled at her reflection in the mirror.
"I have a gift for you too my dear." Kikyo said as she made her way over to you.
You turned to see her holding a beautiful silver necklace with a small blue gem dangling from the center. You leaned down as Kikyo placed it around your neck.
"I wore this on my wedding day. A good luck charge from your mother and I." She said as she stood back with your mother to admire you.
You ran your finger tips over the necklace and smiled.
"This is perfect. Thank you both." You said.
The next few hours were spent sitting at the table listening to the two women bicker on who to invite to the wedding of the century they called it. You rolled your eyes and looked over to your door as you watched Milluki walk down the hall looking down at his phone. You excused yourself from the table which was useless because they were both stuck in their own world of wedding planning. You quickly made your way out of the room and chased after Milluki down the hall.
"Hey Luki wait up!" You shouted after him which only caused him to turn around quickly. The irritated look you knew all too well.
"I said stop calling me that stupid nickname." He sneered as he looked down at his phone once again.
You couldn't help but giggle as you followed him into his room. You leaned against the doorway as you watched him walk over to his desk; your eyes widening at the amount of computers that were turned on, each with something different flashing on each screen.
"So what have you been up to?" You ask as you walked over as you looked over at his figurine collection.
"Killua is asking for a favor," He grumbled as he looked up to one of his monitors. "He needs a copy of Greed Island."
"The rare video game?" You questioned as you looked over his shoulder to the screen which caused him to chuckle.
"Papa always said you were too smart for your own good." He said as he looked over his shoulder.
"Smarter than you for sure." You teased.
"Shut up!' He yelled as he turned back to his computer typing away vigorously.
The only thing that filled the room was Milluki's fingertips against his keyboard as he looked into getting more information on the legendary Greed Island for his younger brother. You had wondered what Killua had been up to since leaving to go take the hunter exam; you hadn't been around when he lashed out Milluki and Kiyko but you couldn't help the chuckle you let out when you found out. Being under the same pressure from your families it was inevitable for you and Killua to become close.
"You don't seem too thrilled to be getting married." Milluki suddenly said bringing you out of your thoughts.
"What makes you say that?" You say flatly.
"Your eyes don't light up the same way they use to when anyone mentioned Illumi." He replied, looking between two monitors.
"It's just a lot to take in," You sigh out. "I went from being a kid learning how to become an assassin like the Zoldyck's to becoming an actually Zoldyck by marriage.   It's hard being in love with someone sees this as nothing more than a business deal"
Milluki stopped typing to turn to face you again; that irritated looking back in his face.
"You really are stupid aren't you? He may have never said it when you were around but he's made several remarks about you to me. It sickening how he only seems to care about his jobs and you." He turned his chair completely around.
You couldn't help but laugh at the confession, searching in his eyes for the truth. Your smile faded as he stared right back at you and you knew that look all too well.
"Now get out cause I have work to do." He said as he turned back to his work and dismissed you with a wave of his hand.
You hesitated only for a moment then walked out of his room; you turned and looked to see Milluki talking on his phone to Killua if you had to guess.
"Thank you Luki." You whisper to yourself and with that you took your leave.
Before you knew it the evening turned into night fall and Kikyo was pleading for you to stay, trying to reassure you that Illumi would be back soon. You agreed thinking back to what Milluki had said earlier. After saying your goodbyes to your mother you returned to your room to find the maids making your bed and bringing a few of your belongings you had left here when you traveled between your home and the Zoldyck's. You thanked the maids as they bowed and left the room. You let out a long sigh as you threw yourself onto the bed as you listened to the clock on the wall tick away the minutes wondering when Illumi would be home; your hand brushed over the fabric of your t-shirt around your stomach as the butterflies seemed to dance around gleefully. Here you were again waiting and yearning for Illumi; aching for his gaze, his touch, and his words to overwhelming your senses. You sat up quickly at the idea of a game; a game that you dominated when you played with Milluki. Assassin 101: tracking and locating your target. If Illumi wanted you as much as Milluki said he did then prove it. Game on.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You sighed, rubbing the soreness out of you neck, and clocked out for the day. It had been a year since you left everything behind to test Illumi; what better way to prove his worth than a game of hide and seek. If he successfully found you then Milluki was right and you'd happily go through with the wedding, if he didn't seek you out then you had a fresh start to live your life free of the expectations of everyone. You had gotten an office job which was quite an adjustment from what you had been trained to do originally. However, doing work as an assassin didn't require long hours behind a desk staring at a monitor.
You lost count of how many times you had to stay overtime to finish a team project. It was finally Friday which meant your coworkers attempting to get you to go out to a local bar but you yet again declined their invite and opted for a another night in with dinner from the convenient store. Your heels clicked against the concrete, a breeze hit your skin causing you to shiver. You walked faster, holding onto your paper bag tightly and cursing yourself for forgetting your sweater back at the office. Luckily the convince store wasn't a far walk from the apartment.
Going into hiding meant getting a new identity and with a new life meant new struggles; applying for jobs and apartments with no credit or job history under the new identity proved to be a challenge but you came out victorious in the end. You walked up the flight of steps to your apartment; you smiled and greeted your elderly neighbor as you put your keys in the lock. You promised to go visit her soon to keep her company while she ate dinner and watched her weekly tv drama. You walked in as you told her goodnight, closing the door behind you with your foot, and reached over to turn on the lamp that sat on a side table. You tossed your keys along with your heels haphazardly on the table and floor.
You walked through your small living room that connected to your kitchen. You set your bag on the counter and putting your food to the side. You suddenly froze in place as an uneasy feeling came over you; you could recognize that blood lust from anywhere. You slowly turned to Illumi standing in your living room playing with one of his many nen needles in his hand. His lips slowly curved into a smile that you had never seen grace his face before.
"So this is where you've been hiding all this time," He said as he started to walk over to where you were. "I'll give you credit this is just inconspicuous enough to make it hard to track you. Not to mention using zetsu to conceal your presence." He chuckled to himself.
You braced yourself against the counter as he stood in front of you. He grabbed your face with one hand as he lightly pressed his needle against your throat with the other.
"You actually found me?" You asked dumbfounded which only made him scoff. He actually came looking for you, and you welcomed the butterflies that swarmed in your stomach.
"Do you know how many people I had to kill just to see you again?" He asked as he leaned in close enough for your lips to graze one another's.
"It took you long enough." You breathed as you looked into his eyes.
He cocked his head to the side as if he was confused but you could tell by the rest of his body language that this little hunt excited him. He removed his nen needle from your neck and took a step back. Silence fell between you both as the tension grew. You could have sworn Illumi could hear your heart beating out of your chest from where he stood. Here he was after a year of being apart and better yet he sought you out. Without thinking you grabbed onto Illumi and crashed your lips against his. He immediately moved his hands to your hips, his grip would leave bruises no doubt but you didn't care. Without breaking the kiss he lifted you onto the counter, his hands leaving your waist for a brief moment to wondered up to your blouse; he ripped it open effortlessly as the buttons flew off hitting the counter beside you or the floor. He started to kiss his way down your jaw to your neck causing you to sigh. You felt his hands slowly move back to your waist, pushing your skirt up, as he started to place open mouth kisses on your neck. You let out a soft moan as he found your sweet spot close to your ear.
"Drove me crazy looking for you." He breathed into your ear. "Hiding what was promised to me since birth."
"Needed proof you were serious about this. About us." You softly said as your fingers found their way to his hair.
"Proof? You needed proof that you're one of the only things that's been on my mind for years," he huffed out. "You and this." He said as he pulled your damp panties to the side and easily slid two fingers into your cunt.
He moved his fingers in and out of you agonizingly slow; you hated the way he teased you.
"Please Illumi." You whimpered out as he chuckled pulling his fingers out of you.
He stepped back to look at you, eyes darkening at you disheveled form. You hair in disarray, your blouse ruined just enough to show off that lace bra, and your skirt bunched up around your hips. He watched your chest rise and fall as you pant . This was what he had chased after. This is what he wanted, no needed. This was his wife. He smirked as he turned on his heel and made his way to your couch. Your eyes followed the way he gracefully sat down and spread his legs; he lifted his hand and motioned for you to come to him. You quickly got off the counter and made your way over to him but before you could touch him he stopped you.
"Strip." He said plainly.
You kept your eyes on him as you removed everything one by one till you stood in front of him naked. You wished you were embarrassed about being completely nude with eyes looking you up and down; his eyes looking at you like you were his prey. He leaned back into the couch and you stood in between his legs. He patted his lap and you couldn't help but let your eyes wonder to his crotch. His facial expression read as if he disinterested yet his cock straining against his pants said otherwise. You climbed on top of his lap and placed your hands on his shoulders. You felt his cold hands run over your sides and down to your hips once more giving a light squeeze; he chuckled at the gasp you let out. His hands moved away from your hips briefly as his hands made quick work of freeing his aching cock. You lifted your hips as he lined himself up to your entrance. You slowly lowered yourself down onto him, both letting out a moan as he bottomed out. His large hands moved back to your hips as you started to move up and down against him. You soon found your rhythm, closing your eyes taking in the feeling of his cock; he leaned up placing soft kisses against your neck.
"Fuck Illumi I've wanted this for so long." You moaned out.
Suddenly you were flipped onto your back as his hands moved under your thighs and pushed them to your chest. Without hesitating he started to pound into your pussy with hard, deep thrust. You let out a loud moan as your eyes rolled to the back; your hands grabbing onto the fabric of the couch to steady yourself.
"This is finally mine. All mine.' Illumi huffed out as he watched the way his cock bullied your pussy. "Isn't that right?"
"Yes." You managed to moan out as you felt yourself already nearing your climax.
"Going to give me the next Zoldyck heir like the good little wife you are." He said which caused your eyes to shoot open.
You watched as he moved one of his hands against your stomach putting pressure causing both of you to moan in sync.
"You're going to make me a father aren't you?" He said and you frantically nodded your head to cock drunk to object.
"Yes Illumi, please." You begged. "Want to be your good little wife."
You felt his fingertips travel to your clit and rub harsh circles as his hips continued on his brutal pace. You threw your head back and moaned Illumi's name as you reached your climax.
"What a good girl you are." Illumi cooed as his eyes traveled to the white ring around his cock.
With a few more sloppy thrust Illumi finished inside of you as you both panted. He pulled out of you and watched his cum slowly seeping out; he ran his slender fingertips along your slit just to shove his fingers inside you to keep it all inside.
"I'm taking you back home tonight. We are to be married tomorrow. We've kept each other waiting too long." He flatly said which caused you to laugh.
"Anything for my soon to be husband." You hummed.

First, the elves, then a devil.
Events took a sharp turn that I did not see coming, but I didn't let that stop me from fulfilling my duties and protecting my kingdom and its people. The aftermath was quite messy, but I tried to make the best of it.
"Y/N, what a lovely surprise."
I decided to visit my closest friend, William. He was sitting in a tree by the Golden Dawn's quarters, watching the sunset, his bright eyes flashing through his mask.
"Hey friend," I smiled up, climbing the tree.
"I can come down-"
"It's fine," Climbing up and joining him in the branch, my smile spread to his, "That wasn't much of a struggle."
"I'm glad," He nodded, eyes gazing back to the sunset, as did mine, the sight being one of nature's purest forms of beauty.
"The view from here is gorgeous," I whispered in awe, using that to ease into the conversation I came here to have, "Nothing like a nice view to clear your mind."
"Indeed," He whispered back, still staring at the setting sun as I looked at him:
"I know you recently had an important talk with King Julius. Are you doing better after everything?"
"I do feel better," He sighed, seeing the emotion in his eyes as the sky fell into a darker orange hue, "I feel lighter now if that makes sense."
"I understand," I nodded, taking his full attention as I rested my hand on top of his that was resting on the massive tree branch, whispering, "I know there are some others that may think differently than I do, but I want you to know, William, you're still the same William that is my best friend."
"I couldn't ask for a better friend," He sniffled softly but was still smiling, his hand beginning to shake, and it confused me till his hand started reaching for his mask.
We had been friends for a long time, but I'd never seen his face. However, I was happy that he was confident enough to show me, seeing a dark purple tone along the top of his cheeks, all the way up to his white hair.
"You were hiding a birthmark?" That's what I assumed it was. Only curious and not expecting his correction:
"It's from a curse that was placed on my mother's family."
He'd never been so open to me, putting his head down, holding my hand with both of us, a tear dropping into it as he whispered:
"I imagine you can understand why I keep it hidden. I do feel better now that the truth is out, but I still feel-"
My heart hurt seeing him crying; quickly scooting closer to him, his hands squeezing me harder as I took his cheek, lifting his eyes back into mine.
"William, I don't know a soul who's gone through what yours has," I began, fighting through a few tears of my own, but a smile on my face as I reminded, "But as I said, you're still the William that I hold dear to my heart. I know that your heart is pure, my dear friend."
"My face may be cursed, but I do have one blessing," He smiled back, sniffling as he took my other hand, "That blessing is you."
"Cursed?" I giggled softly, meaning honestly, as I kissed his cheek, "I think you're handsome. Curse or not."
"Is it okay if I continue to be honest with you, Y/N?" Getting confirmation from my nod, it felt as if a bright light was shining from within me when his lips found mine, the light shining brighter as I pressed my lips into his more, gasping slightly as our lips parted, his gorgeous purple eyes glimmering into mine, "You are my everything. "
My heart was beating calmly but so hard. Lost in his sparkling eyes, the purple in the sky coloring us and the tree, smiling more as I nuzzled my nose against his, interlocking our hands:
"I feel the same, William."

dark!aemond hc's
Tumblr media
warnings: late night thoughts, not rlly edited, typos, gaslighting, aemond is a manipulative lil shit, but idc i would do aything for this man, this is the last time i write straight on the tumblr lol
pairing: aemond targaryen x f!maid!reader
you were the only maid he tolerated, you didn't stare at him or try to talk to him, you only did your job. he liked that about you, so much in fact that when the septa moved you to work in the kitchens, aemond threw a fit about it.
"who are you?! where is y/n?" he would yell at the unsuspecting maid in his chambers. she only lasted an evening before you were returned to aemond.
"why did you agree to leave? do you not like being here?" he questioned you, watching as you folded his clothes.
"no, my prince. i simply go where the septa tells me to go, she told me to go work in the kitchens, i went there." you didn't look up at him, you weren't scared that the prince would hurt you but you certainly didn't appreciate the intense look in his eyes
"i don't give a shit what the septa says, you're not to go somewhere else. from now on, you're only job is to look after me"
after that, things changed between you and aemond. before, he would simply just watch you - bend down under his bed, or see your cleavage when you are pouring his wine but now - now, he will touch you. simple, innocent (not really) touches that made your skin crawl.
one night, after he had had too much to drink, he asked you to spend the night in his bed. "just to sleep, my love. i just want to be close to you. don't you want to be close to me?"
you just wanted to sleep in your own quarters, your bed was nothing compared to his, but it was yours
apparently you had taken too long to answer, "i must've been mistaken to believe perhaps you felt the same but how could you? i am disfigured and abrasive, a lady such as yourself could never-"
"no, no of course not my prince. i'm sorry i was just... well honestly i was surprised you asked, i believed my... feelings for you to be only one-sided."
the smile on his face after you said made your stomach errupt in butterflies, you weren't sure which kind
he watched you slip out of your dress, only in your undergarments he could make out your tender body so much more clearly, he already felt his nightpants tighten
aemond did not keep his promise to 'just sleep', when you laid next to him he pulled you close, kissed your hair and gently guided your hand to his cock, "you're so beautiful." he whispered in your hair. "do you feel what you do to me, my flower?"
you moved your hand up and down, his breaths getting sharper and quicker, eventually, he finished as he was kissing, sucking on your neck
you felt ashamed at the wetness pooling down at your core, even more so at the moans that left you as he slipped his fingers in you, "does that feel good my love?" he said, god his voice had never sounded so good.
ever since that night, aemond had barely let you leave his chambers. everyone knew you belonged to him, aemond made no efforts to hide it, he simply did not care.
you, on the other hand, had to deal with jealous and petty maids, making your job harder, as well as cruel remarks from alicent.
as much as your time with aemond was fun, you wished for life before - not that you could ever speak your mind about that. anytime you said something remotely close to wanting some more freedom, he would blow up
"freedom for what? hmm? what can anyone give you that i can't? you're lucky i chose you. "
his outbursts would always be followed by his apologies after a few cups of wine,
"my love please forgive me. i just can't fathom losing you and when you say things like wanting to spend some nights in your old room, what am i supposed to think?"
"i'm sorry my prince, i did not think. i won't bring it up again." he kissed you deeply after that, cupping your face in his hands.
" i don't care what my mother says, you will be my wife. would that make you happy? us being married?"
"oh of course my love, nothing would make. me happier than being your wife."
two moons later, you were wed. aemond had given your family some gold in exchange for the loss of income (now that you were a princess, you were dismissed of your duties)
"i can't wait to see you full with my child." he would say to before finally taking you fully
he vowed to never father basters so before the wedding, he didn't fuck you, only the other stuff
no, you weren't allowed to leave the chambers without him, no any hope of you returning to work you enjoyed was long gone but somewhere down the road, you did end up falling in love with him.
