Hey, nice to meet you! I saw that your request is open & you write for One Piece 😌❤️ May i request fluffy headcanons for Monster Trio with Fem!Reader? 😳 What if the reader is the devil queen. I hope my request is safe, do tell me if you feel uncomfortable 😔 Thank you!
a/n: nice to meet you too!! and ofc! oo! devil queen huh? interesting!! oh, and it didn’t make me uncomfortable at all!<3 please do excuse me if i’m a little shitty though💀 but i had so much fun writing this! and i’m sorry for it being a little late:( my sister wouldn’t quit bugging me about going to the mall, but i tried my best to write inbetween shopping! i hope you enjoy this!

MONKEY D. LUFFY
i feel like luffy would most DEFINITELY a touch your horns, wings, and tail, in a playful manner way of course, *smirks* that is if you have them though. otherwise he would probably bug you about using your powers 25/8!
yk whenever he catches fish? yeah, he would ask you to fry them with your fire so he wouldn’t get beaten by sanji (AGAIN.).
oh boy and once he sees you in battle, you bet he has STAR EYES! you look so cool!? he’s so happy to have you as his girlfriend AND a crew mate! whenever you get out of the fight and back onto the sunny, he’s gonna be yelling about how cool your powers were while attached to your back with his arms wrapped around you.
he definitely brags about you to zoro, and to basically everyone (cue sanji sulking in the corner). he can’t help how cool he thinks your abilities are! if i’m honest he probably thinks it’s cooler than sanjis raidsuit😭
and during cuddles in winter he wraps himself around you tenfold with a dorky smile on his face at your natural body heat.
in conclusion: luffy thinks you’re an absolute BADASS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(THIS GIF IS NOT MINE)
Roronoa Zoro
zoro definitely plays with your wings/horns/tail just to mess with you, (if you have any ofc) he smirks and mentally takes a picture of your reaction when he sees your expressions.
whenever it’s winter, and he’s taking a nap on the sunny, he may just wake up for a few minutes, go and get you from whatever you’re doing and plop you right down beside him! he might have the physique of a god but he still gets cold sometimes…
since he has a horrible sense of directions at times, yes, you will have to wrap your tail (if you have you yk the drill) around him in order to keep him on the actual path and not off wandering. (totally not requested by the whole crew….)
whenever he sees you in battle, he most definitely looks like he is in the gif. (bonus points if you’re using a sword!) he quite literally goes over to you, and says, "when did you learn that total badassery babe?!” (he may be a little bit sour if you stole his spotlight)
he’d most definitely call himself your devil king though
in conclusion: zoro loves every bit of this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(THIS GIF IS NOT MINE)
Vinsmoke Sanji
oh boy, i’m sure you know how sanji is with nami and robin? yeah, he’s like that with you, but tenfold. each time you fight he’d most definitely be like, "Y/NNNNNNN! MY LOVEE~ YOUR FIGHTING STYLE IS ABSOLUTELY DEVIL-ISH!~" and he would be proud of his little pun. (don’t ruin it for him please</3)
he would help you with trimming up some of the spikes on your wings if they got outrageous or uncomfortable, same with your horns! yet ofc while praising you, saying how beautiful you are either way
if you ever believed that he should get with somebody else because of your powers, or how dangerous you are, or any other reason, he might just get on his knees and start saying how you’re a goddess besides how you’re a devil queen, saying how he wouldn’t want anybody else
in conclusion: sanji is madly inlove as always
none of these characters are mine! they all belong to Eiichiro Oda!

PJOTV Ep 4 + 5 (spoilers)
My brain is, and has been, rotted entirely! I feel like the TV show is such a treat because the new content adds layers to the story SO MUCH like the plot and character dynamics it makes me want to scream. Yes the differences are absolutely notable but the bottom line is that our main trio would find each other in any universe or storyline and would choose each other every time
-The opening scene of episode 4 broke me a bit: the lore that Percy actually did not take naturally to being in the water, he was actually afraid to be swimming! I feel like before we definitely characterized him as someone who felt at home in the water since he came out the womb but damn look how far he comes. How jarring it must be to later find out you're actually the son of the sea god :o
-Percy continually being angry about the system of the gods (not) interacting with their children, being so shocked that a parent wouldn't help or talk to their child. He's so sweet and I feel like his rage grows the more he gets to know Annabeth because he sees how amazing and loyal and cunning she is and wonders how her mother could ever ignore or abandon her
-Annabeth just in general, her badassery is so fucking perfect for this character, the way she draws her knife, her being so fucking in tune with Percy already....the way she knows exactly what Percy is going to do before he does it ((and the way he listens to her unconditionally i.e. cutting off Medusa's invisible head in episode 3 but I digress)), knowing he was alive and waiting for them somewhere at the beginning of episode 5. she is a LEGEND and she is LOCKED TF IN
-the hug <3 i won't make it weird if you won't <3 <3 we're like friends now <3<3<3 do u understand how i hurt
-trio walking down the side of the road like bums -_- i died lmfao. also them hiding when approached by some dude and just being like <3 we good ty tho!!
-Percy, again still acclimating to this fucking weird ass world where gods are real and can kill u easily, is shook when ares threatens to kill them. luckily, as a change of pace, grover is cool as a dang cucumber and saves the day af. this is what i mean like absolutely the characters are so different like yes grover has been nervous a lot but he also can turn it tf on and smooth talk when he needs to
-Annabeth has never seen a movie. Percy immediately insists that they watch one together. Look me in the fucking eyes and tell me that's not a date? Hello?
-The entirety of the tunnel scene/chair scene. Percy being the one to figure out the story illustrated Hephaestus' life. Percy ALREADY working to save Annabeth first and foremost! Percy continually sacrificing himself for her! Believing deep down she is capable of great, impossible things and being willing to set aside his life for her without question. Telling her she is better. "You just are. And you know it." Giving her Riptide, no second thoughts, no backing down.
-ANNABETH CHASE ALREADY ASSUMING PERCY'S PROMISE WOULD BE ABOUT HIS MOTHER. HIM BEING ASSURED SHE WILL SAVE HIS MOTHER, NO HESITATION. HIM ASKING HER TO COME BACK FOR HIM. HER BEING SURPRISED THAT HE THOUGHT HE HAD TO ASK. (THE ENEMY PHASE WAS SO SHORT LIVED. THEY HAVE BARELY GOTTEN IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK TRANSPORTING LIVE ANIMALS TOGETHER. WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY WOULD TALK ABOUT IN THERE NOW. I'M fine don't worry about me).
-On that note, the ending. Percy is like a loose cannon full of a deep rage and a lot (A LOT) of unrealized power; his problem is that he is not locked TF in like Annabeth (as of right now) and the ending really made me excited because it feels like he is finally catching on to what a big deal he actually is. All this anger he has inside him, all this rage at what he has lost and the suffering he has seen, .... i'm honestly beside myself at what is to come because this is already SO JUICY and I feel like we've barely started!
-side notes: the score is so amazing, I'm really enjoying it and I understand all the videos of the actors promoting the soundtrack!!! also my sister has never read the books but she loves the movies and we watch it together; she is very very excited for the casino scene so there is definitely hope for her in the near future. ((my nico loving ass will also be holding binoculars and twitching))
so yes a lot was changed but i am really liking the new content a lot because it just feels like added lore and, again, these guys can best the odds in any universe and help each other in every timeline. the most important plot points are there and i feel like they have already set up a lot of info for later on down the line. I do wish there was a bit more banter/conversation (because Percy is actually so quirky and I feel like this could be explored more) but the time we do have is amazing and feels super fresh! even when i've read the books to pieces! and again the convos they're having right now are setting shit up for later and maybe then they can play and have fun wit it. as always, i will be loyally sat, lurking, reblogging. kiss

Hi!
Just wanted to say that I absolutely love “Lilly white, poppy red”. It’s a unique take on the Azula Azula role swap Au and I am enjoying it immensely!
I am also looking forward to the eventual Zuko time travel Au. I am especially looking forward to the “general Azula badassery” and to “Azula and Katara’s devastating new rivalry, that threatens to end the world before Ozai does”. Rivals Azula/Katara is a fun dynamic to read.
Speaking of Azula/Katara though…
I hope you’d don’t mind if I headcanon that they get together following the conclusion of both stories? Is it weird to have a headcanon of a fanfic that in no way actually influences said fic? Definitely. Am I still going to do so? Also yes. And in regards with the time travel Au, I am a sucker for Azutara rivals to lovers.
Hello! Thanks for the ask!!
I'm so glad you like my fic, writing Azula has been a blast. I can't wait to write more ... especially of Azula and Katara, they somehow wrote themselves out to be one of the best dynamics. So, I have a friend who beta reads my fic, and they randomly commented on a scene that was smth like "really going for the Azula/Katara huh?" and I was SHOOK. I never intended it but damn ... I can see it. So even though I'm not going to write romance, you are so valid in your hc. Also the fact that you're hcanoning at all??? Omg so honoured.
I actually started this fic thinking of MaiTyZula, cause I really like that trio (and I'm very meh on ships and just wanna write fun character dynamics). But while Mai and Ty Lee are probably girlfriends in the background, Azula is ... very into blue after all :D
Tldr: Azula is badass and also gay af. Love is love, do what you want, and also you're amazing thanks for reading <333

I’m just spitballing here, but listen. Dirk, John and Vriska are all people who crave action. That’s why Vriska sets up so many obstacles for her and her friends and wants them to have ‘character development,’ why Dirk sets up scenarios for badassery and tries to pull the strings in his session, and why John is so quick to go with the flow and most often follows whatever orders he’s given (like how else are you supposed to progress in a video game? Lol) (see when Vriska was messing with him).
Epilogue spoilers (like anyone cares)— lack of relevance/action/plot is literally the reason Candy Dirk and Meat John killed themselves. So obviously they crave it very much.
I feel like if Dirk and John were willing to stoop a little lower, like morally, they’d totally work with Vriska to set something up and keep the narrative going. Like, say, creating a villain… obstacles that call for everyone’s cool abilities… making themselves look like heroes…
Thief of Light = someone who steals Light or steals using Light. Hey doesn’t Light mean enlightenment/information? Can Vriska steal memories? What if… after the trio create their perfect hero’s journey… she wipes their memories so they can effectively continue the narrative without feeling guilty or having to hide anything?
I feel like that’d make a good AU. HS2 by yours truly.
Imagine— John convinces Roxy to use her voidy powers and create another Ring of Life. He goes back in time and gives it to the Condesce or alchemizes a scary monster for him and his buddies to fight. I know it’s kind of out of character, but hey, this is my AU.

Realized while looking at my ao3 profile that my dc/gotham fic is incredibly disorganized, so for the benefit of myself and anyone interested, here’s a quick link + summary to all of my dc fics thus far:
Harlivy-centric
Tennessee Ham and Strawberry Jam (67.8k): Country-murder-song-inspired + Southern Harlivy AU. Vibes similar to Fried Green Tomatoes with elements of mystery. Loosely inspired by Harley & Ivy’s origin stories, plot is complete and wraps up in a little bow. This fic is the high school theatre kid who tripped and made it to Broadway.
Once Bitten, Twice Kissed (43.8k): Supernatural Harlivy AU (think vampires, witches, etc.) Pace is a little slower than THaSJ and it takes a few chapters of developing an atmosphere to get going, so if that’s your thing, give it a go. Fairly creepy and has a strong dose of mystery/secrets revealed as you read. Plot is complete. The goth sibling of my Harlivy fics.
Harlequin’s Isle (17.5k): Canonverse Harlivy, stranded on a desert island fic. Picks up when Harley and Ivy have been going strong as a couple for a while, so they’re firmly established. Some hurt/comfort, mostly lighthearted with a strong dash of badassery. Vibes of a standalone Harlivy comic story, plot is complete. This is the last of the current trio of longer Harlivy fics. This fic is the wacky cousin who dyes her hair every two weeks.
A History of Handcuffs (1.6k): Very Arkham-era Ivy-centric, but leans into a take on Harley and Ivy’s first meeting. Based on a fantastic @mataurin sketchdump linked in the fic. This fic wears sunglasses and leather.
Such a Lonely Word (0.5k): A ficlet of a tense moment and a few whispered words between Harley and Ivy. This fic is a crisp apple slice.
Other DC fics:
Canary in the Thorns (4.7k): A deeply self-indulgent, canon-adjacent take on a hookup between Poison Ivy and Black Canary in their civilian identities, plus the aftermath when they realize exactly whom they slept with. I will acknowledge that IvyDinah is a dinghy as a ship but here it is regardless. This fic’s the wine aunt chilling out in the corner.
Reckless to Care (0.8k): A snippet of an adventure and bonding moment between Cass and Babs. More of a dip into the Batfam. (note: Bruce and Selina pop up with major roles in THaSJ and OBTK if that’s more your speed.) This fic is a steaming cup of tea on a rainy night.

Yesss!!! To all ur stancy/jancy thoughts , i feel the same way. I think jonathan is his best when he is with will. All the stancy hate doesn’t even make sense to me, steve has grown so much and ofc he doesn’t want nancy as his little housewife but it was a really sweet moment I thought when she said his dream sounded nice. It’s frustrating ppl are twisting that scene into a negative. It was also so nice for the first time in like 3 seasons for nancys storyline not be with jonathons.
I don't understand how that scene could be taken negatively!! It's so darn sweet!!! He doesn't say "I want you stay home and raise my children" he says "I want to be a dad to 6 kids and spend our summers going on amazing adventures with them, and in this dream you are with me". He is saying he wants a big family, and he wants to be a great dad to his kids and show them the world and have a big brood of love and laughter and happiness. Nowhere in his dream does he talk about jobs or housework or anything like that. To stretch his words and make them into something else makes no sense.
We should also note that Nancy thinks it sounds nice too. Not the six kids part, but everything else? Nancy is on board. (And number of kids is negotiable as long as the rest is what they both want!)
Besides, we already know Steve thinks Nancy is a badass and loves that about her. He tells Robin as much in s3, he spends all of s4 wanting to protect her but never stopping her from doing hard, scary, dangerous things. He just wants to be by her side when she does them. To think that this version of Steve, who has made it abundantly clear that he thinks Nancy Wheeler is the coolest, greatest girl he's ever met because of her spunk, her tenacity, her badassery, and her drive, would ever want anything less for her than for her to be the most badass reporter of all time while also being his wife is not only crazy, but not at ALL supported by canon.
Wanting a big family =/= wanting to force the woman you love to be a stay at home housewife in direct contradiction to her dreams. Note that nowhere in his 'dream' does Steve have a career in mind. Whose to say he doesn't dream of being Nancy's stay at home husband.
again, not saying that i think the show is gonna go there, but as a Stancy lover... a girl can dream about them having their big ole brood (but lets just say 3 kids... for Nancy's sake) in their RV, settling up on a beach in California for a few weeks at the end of summer after seeing the national parks.
(Also, 100% agree about it being nice to see Nancy with someone new! S1, S2, AND S3 had Nancy mostly paired up with Jonathan until the end of the season when everyone would come together. Shipping aside, I loved the shuffling of dynamics this season and getting to see some new dynamics. Steve Nancy and Robin as a trio was so fun (and the quad with Eddie in vol 1 too!!) and I loved getting so much Will and Jonathan content this season! Big fan of a little character shuffle to freshen up the story! It worked beautifully in s2, giving us steve and dustin, so i'm glad they decided to give it a try this season too!)

anyways some final dark thoughts with some 1899 musings sprinkled in for flavor
definitely ended the show with my top five faves being noah, claudia, charlotte, hannah, and katarina. im also deeply obsessed with jonas (the teenager and eyk variants at least) and bartosz came in for a last minute win.
probably controversial opinion but ulrich... i respect the tragedy but my buddy you could’ve solved a lot of problems by not banging everyone in sight
there are characters who i adored who i wish got a little more time to shine but overall a+ character development. leave me wanting more than overplaying it or adding in unnecessary plots
also, i do wish martha’s badassery had been brought out a bit sooner in season two because she and jonas were giving me charladay from lost vibes and that is not a compliment in this case. like i wasn’t sure what jonas was seeing in her and it felt like he was just obsessing over someone (in this case, his motherfucking aunt) and there was little support. season three... perfection though on that front.
holy fuck the cast overall was spectacular. ive never seen casting that perfect overall, especially for the younger vs older cast members
it was also interesting to me how the main cast mostly didn’t change throughout the seasons - bo and jantje were able to pretty much keep everyone for three seasons regardless of character fates in various timelines/words. that makes me feel like they'd have kept the 1899 main cast around for the entire show run if they’d had, you know, a seasons two and three.
as mentioned in other posts, love that they also stored the love in the fake priest here too.
the entire show being about love - with the incident that creates the loop being born from love and the solution being conceived of by love is so important. also the fact that the solution isn’t to cause further harm but to save lives? incredible
overall, it wasn’t as nihilistic as i expected? i found the ending to be really powerful and bittersweet but also not quite as heavy on the bitter side as anticipated.
the last line hit me like a shit ton of bricks.
it also thrilled me that katarina and hannah got to exist/be happy in the end. i know hannah is controversial, but both their deaths were the most viscerally upsetting to me so i was really glad that it didn’t just end there for them.
seeing the way they used every shot and word to convey meaning absolutely destroyed me. not a single goddamn wasted moment or throwaway line
my other minor complaints are that i think they needed 10 episodes per season for all seasons, and that i wish the unknown (aka the terror trio as i was calling them) had a name that wasn't just. the unknown.
the montages!!! fuck me up!!!
ive got so many thoughts about 1899 and where that was going based on this show but the only one ill share here is that im pretty sure that outside of the eyk/maura/daniel triangle, the endgame pairings had to be clémence/jérôme, ling yi/olek, and ramiro/ángel. there was too much emphasis placed on those relationships by the season finale that it would’ve been weird to like. swap out one half of a pairing for someone else. the set up felt very deliberate there, and overall bo and jantje do not waste moments like those.
why did it take me so long to watch this show???? it is perfect and i want to write a thousand essays on it

List of Turkish Dizis I watched in order of Greatest to Didn't Love It
Part 1 | Part 2
Halka
This one is kind of just amazing. I binged it very quickly and was so sad it ended because I could live in this world for a while. Cihangir, Kahn, and Mujde are my favorite trio. Honestly the bromance between Cihangir and Kahn was so cute and sweet and I love them as much as I Ioved the slowburn between Mujde and Cihangir. The cinematography, the acting, the script, everything about this show was amazing. What I loved most about this show was how smart the characters were. Cihangir, Kaan, Mujde were playing chess when in comparison, it's like every other tv show character was playing checkers. These characters were so smart, and funny, and they had the best dynamic between them. I really can't get enough of them. I think the trio (+ Adem) will go down as one of my favorites forever. The diamond scene is always a favorite. I really wish we got more scenes between them. Especially with Kaan shipping them because that was adorable, how he would quietly laugh at Cihangir crushing on Mujde. Another thing is how well they showed the bonding between characters. It is an excellent example of a show showing and not telling. It's believable that they became close and I don't need to be told. I saw moments between them. I saw the bond. I wasn't told about it.
Honestly, my only regret is that the ending was kind of unsatisfying, but I guess they left it open ended so that people could fill in the blanks themselves. Also the end villain was kind of ridiculous because there had already been another villain before him, but it was like they were trying to make this new guy even worse so they had to tie all the other villains' stuff to him, which kind of ruined the other villains characters. But other than that, and it is literally just those two things, this was an amazing series.
I love Hande and Serkan. I'd seen their other work before this one and I can say that this might be my favorite of theirs.
Bay Yanlis
Ozge and Can have the best chemistry ever. Honestly, watched this one before Halka and it was still on my mind while watching it. This is just a cute romantic comedy. You'll enjoy it more if you don't take anything too seriously. Everything is just happy and sweet and I love it. I massively crush on Can Yaman in this series. He is just so cute. And I love Ozgur and Ezgi together. They were just a playful, happy, and healthy couple that were just trying to figure out their feelings. Sadly it was canceled so it had a really rushed ending but even then, I really enjoyed it. Not only were the lead couple adorable, but the side couples were cute too. Rewatched it twice. Will rewatch again. It's down as one of my favorites. It's so light and fluffy. Highly recommend that you watch whenever you need something happy and fun in your life.
Ariza
What an underrated show!! I don't know what it is about mafia shows, but I just love them. So full of action and badassery! So the story revolves around a taxi driver who enters the mafia world in pursuit of revenge. When you think about it, it sounds weird but it makes sense when you watch it. The plot was very well done, almost no plot holes. There were some inconsistencies but they weren't big or major in a way that detracted from the main villain. The main villain stayed consistent throughout and our hero stayed on path.
The romance in the show was not the biggest draw towards the show, although it did play a major aspect in the plot. I love Ayca and she's a great actress, and I love Tolga and he's a great actor and separately their acting was amazing, and together their acting was great. Basically, my only problem was that I don't think they had the best chemistry. I've seen them have better chemistry with other costars. That's not to say I didn't believe their love story. I did. And it was very well played. It's just that, having seen their other works, I know when something is missing, and it was the chemistry. It was very platonic feeling. But maybe that's just me.
Anyway. Great show. Absolutely loved it. Stayed invested throughout.
Yargi
I'm still watching season 2 of this show but I wanted to start the review now because it's in my head. I'll talk about season 1 since that's the season I completed. I love this show. I took a break from turkish dramas for a bit and came back with this show and it was a great reintroduction. I love the actors, the drama, the cinematography, the music, and the characters. The leads, Ceylin and Ilgaz, played together in Ask 101 (which I only saw s1 of and wasn't too into but I remember thinking they were cute). They have amazing chemistry together. I didn't think their relationship was rushed (or portrayed in a way that was rushed). They had believable and heartbreaking obstacles in their way (familly, death, etc) and I rooted for them throughout. The side characters didn't feel like fillers. I love Pars and Eren so much, I thought their characters had fantastic depth and served to lighten and add tension in scenes and they did it wonderfully. The plot is focused around the murder of Ceylin's family and finding out who murdered who and what happened. There is a lot of betrayal and drama and it's simply fantastic. There are a few plot holes here and there but it's easily ignored. The show does a good job of bringing back important points, or even minor points. I strongly recommend this show. I don't want to say too much to spoil it so I won't, although I will say that if you're anything like me, throughout this show you'll probably be screaming "Chinar! why are you always doing things?!"
I will also say that my favorite part of this show is that it makes sure that characters are held accountable for their actions. They have to live with the consequences. And that is not often found in dramas so the fact that there is a show about accountability is amazing!
Elimi Birakma
This one was an experience. I watched it as I was going through an insomnia-tic period, and it kept me company during the nights that I couldn't sleep. And during the day when I was too dead to work. I honestly really loved this. Especially the first season. The leads had great chemistry and I enjoyed the drama that the side characters provided. Albeit, the beginning had me wanting to punch the Cenk in the face a lot, I appreciated that we got to see his growth, especially going into season 2, and what effect Azra had on him.
Season 1 did a good job of keeping up with plot points and bringing back relevant aspects. There was a theme that everything will eventually be revealed, and lying is useless. That theme is kind of dropped in season 2. I mean there are several plot points that are just abandoned (and cast that just disappear / conveniently die so I'm going to attribute it with problems in the cast during shooting). I was particularly annoyed that they completely wrote off Melis in season 2 even though she played an important role in season 1. Even if the actress couldn't come back, they could at least mention her, I mean she is their sister and they don't even mention her later on. But I digress.
Great show, very much enjoyed it. Really loved the acting and the characters. Noticeable lack of PDA (kissing is a big no in this dizi) but easily overlooked because of the tension and chemistry between the actors.
Sen Cal Kapimi
My introduction into Turkish dizis. I'd seen this on my dash about 20 times and always thought, "hmm... the girl is super pretty, and it looks kind of good, maybe i'll watch it..." and then I never did. Then right as I'm about to go in for my second term of 1L, I decide to binge watch all 52 episodes in 4-5 days. Talk about regrets... I had not realized before starting that Turkish TV shows were 2.5 hours long EACH EPISODE!! That was a shock. But I binged and loved this show. Honestly Serkan and Eda were so cute, the chemistry between Kerem and Hande was amazing. That said, I really loved S2 (even though a lot of people didn't) but I can't really watch S1 anymore. I think looking back on it right now, I think the plot was a little scattered in S1. I get that they had like a bunch of arcs and stuff, but once this guy got amnesia I was like ... lol. That said, I've noticed this does happen to a lot of a shows. The whole, amnesia plot, the guy goes to prison plot, the girl breaks up with the guy because she's being blackmailed plot. It's a lot. I think I would have preferred that if they were going to do all of it, they make it over a longer period of time (like they show time lapses of years going by, instead of all of it supposedly happening in the span of, like, a year and a half.)
That said, I couldn't have picked a better show to get me into Turkish dramas. Really something special. The characters were amazing, the side characters included, and they advanced the lead couple. The disputes between Eda and Serkan actually had real context to them that stemmed from their character flaws/traits, and I really appreciated that.
Uç Kurus
This one is still on going while I'm writing this review, but I just finished episode 24 (instead of studying for finals, fml) and I think this show is amazing. It's a mafia/gang show that just has all the notes of bromance, betrayal, romance, fighting, action, and I love it. The enemies to lovers trope is on high here, with the star crossed lovers.
The show starts with a smaller case (if you consider tracking down a serial killer small) to a larger case (a mafia boss that is the source of childhood trauma that irreparably damaged a family). There is so much about family in this show; it goes into what can be forgiven and what can't be. The complexities of addiction are touched on, as well as prejudice and discrimination.
Saying all this and how much I love this show, I actually do think it doesn't have to go on much longer. I don't know how long they are planning to air the show/how many episodes they intend, but I don't think it needs to be over 28 episodes in all honesty. But we'll see.
Great show, I highly recommend.
Kalp Atisi
I initially was hesitant to watch this because it's a remake of a Kdrama that I loved (Doctors) and I didn't want to do the whole thing where you watch the same show twenty times in twenty different languages. But I was wrong. While this might start out as a Doctors remake (and they basically do everything the same in the first couple episodes) it is incredibly different. This show had it's own character, and it was extremely well done. I was wondering how they were going to extend the plot because Doctors is only 1/8 the length of the show, but they decided to incorporate every doctor show into one show. They used so much of Grey's Anatomy and they had some Chicago Med and I'm sure other shows were incorporated as well. But they just used the major points. So I got to watch some great episodes without having to suffer the boring ones. I think I saw every shooting scene from every show in this one show. I'm not saying that in a bad way either, it was extremely entertaining.
The main characters had good chemistry. I loved both of them so much. They kind of did a role reversal where the male character was the one that was patient and loving and supportive all the time, while the female character was more of the loose canon, and it worked so well. These characters were so well matched and suited for each other. It was honestly a great show.
Yeni Hayat
A more serious drama. Unfortunately it was also canceled after 9 episodes so it didn't get as fleshed out as the writer probably wanted it to be. You could tell that they had plans for it that they just weren't able to deliver because it was canceled. The topic is a serious one -- about domestic abuse. The lead couple, Adem and Yasemin, are both in different relationships. They have an epic slowburn romance that is so sweet to watch. I generally don't like watching shows that have characters cheating on other people, but this was actually really great. They don't really do anything together (besides one kiss in the beginning when neither had feelings for each other besides basic attraction) but they begin to feel something through their friendship. Also their partners are super toxic. Yasemin's husband is abusive (and I kind of hate that for the sake of tying up loose ends to finish the show they had to ease up on making him the villain because for me, he was definitely the main villain) and *SPOILER* Adem's wife is crazy (which was actually a nice twist because initially we thought she wasn't going to be and we sort of rooted for her and her husband, but then she got super obsessive and jealous -- i mean with good reason but her husband wasn't doing anything at that point, and we find out if anything she was the bigger problem since she cheated on him and kept massive secrets from him and that her actions were the root of all her paranoia).
Anyway, I loved this for the chemistry between the main actors. Again, Serkan was in this drama and I might mark him down as one of my favorite male actors. Whenever he smiles, I turn to mush.
Azize
This show was a lot. In very little time. First of all Hande is amazing. I love her always and forever. Her character, Azize/Melek was so well played. I really wish we got more of this so I could see more of her. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after 6 episodes. But from the first episode I was on the edge of my seat. The characters were well done. The plot was great. I only had to suspend my disbelief a couple of times to get through it but I'll attribute the inconsistencies with them rushing the ending because they were cancelled. It's really a show with great characters and star crossed love. Plus it's a mafia show and those are always fun to watch (I love recommendations if anyone has any).
Sol Yanim
This was one of those shows where I was actually genuinely interested in the plots of all the characters. They were all complex and entertaining. The show didn't revolve mainly around the lead couple, but instead was about the family dynamics, and how the lead couple tried to navigate through it while also trying to support each other. Serra and Selim were two very interesting characters who were struggling with childhood traumas. Serra was one of my favorite characters because she remained cool and professional in face of people who were being rude and hostile. She stayed honest to her truth even when it was uncomfortable for her. I love how she never invited anyone into her life that she didn't want there, and she never let anyone push her around. Selim was had a lot of justified anger but his moments with Serra were so soft, and I love how he always tried to be better for himself after being inspired by her. It was a great show about what a new influence can bring to your life.
The side characters were also great and had compelling story lines. Onur is by far the best imo. I think the only disappointing thing is that it ended at 12 episodes so they lost a lot of story lines they were developing. One of the rare cases where I think a show could go on for a bit longer, but this would have been better wrapped up with another episode at least. If only to finish the Erkan story line. Great show otherwise.
Ada Masali
This was a really good show about a city girl moving to an island. The relationship between the leads was very intense (sometimes a bit too much) and kept me hooked. The characters were more mature than characters in a lot of dramas, and they were actually smart. The issues in their relationship revolved around family and trust and those are very believable issues to separate a couple, which I appreciated.
I loved the island. It was honestly very beautiful. I wish there were more scenes about the leads around the island. However, I also wish there could have been more scenes about the city life as well. Because the message kind of became that the city life sucked in comparison which I thought was a bit dismissive. And really confusing/contradictory with the ending. I think one of my favorite things about the show was the leads relationship, but I was a bit sad that towards the end, they almost became side characters in their own story, because it became really polluted by the side characters story lines.
There were a lot of story lines that they could have expanded on but didn't which I thought were lost opportunities (the fathers' story lines, the sea story line, how the family finally accepted them). Most of those story lines were touched on but really quickly resolved, and I just wish they gave more time to those stories instead of the side characters.
Otherwise a great story. Really beautiful.
Wolf
I came for Serkan and I stayed for Serkan. But in all honesty this was actually a good show. It had great acting, cinematography, action scenes. Very moving show about the events preceding the coup in 2016. I am very sad that can't find anywhere to watch the movie with english subtitles though, so I will remain unsatisfied until I find it. I would put it lower in my ranks though, not because it wasn't great, but because I wasn't very entertained compared to other shows. I love action, but this was a bit one note for me sometimes. But I feel like it deserves to be higher, so I'll leave it here for now.
Zemheri
A nice little palate cleanser to get me to stop obsessing over Halka (side note: still not really over how good it was). It was a great story about a pair of lovers torn apart because of a psychopath. The chemistry between the leads was insane and the actors did an excellent job. It was nice and short so it only had one main story arc which was nice. Very enjoyable watch.
Her Yerde Sen
This was really cute. The characters were much more mature than others I've seen and they were fun to watch. They didn't do overly cringy things. Basically the premise is that two people are sold the same house and refuse to be the one to move out, and so they are stuck living together. Of course it also turns out the guy is the girl's boss. And all the shenanigans that ensue basically start there.
The side characters were really sweet in this. There is a side couple that I loved watching. All the couples friends were really awesome and had great story lines.
My one criticism is the ending. I might have put this show on the same level as SCK, but the ending really didn't do it for me. It's a short show already, so you would hope they would stick the landing. But at the last minute they decided to redeem a character, and did a really shoddy job of it. And there were a bunch of plot holes. But whatever. They rushed the ending, and that's basically my complaint. Otherwise, a great show.
Menajerimi Ara
Great show. Honestly. But only until episode 36. It suffered the same problem that many shows suffer, it went on for too long. And I'm not saying that in the way that they couldn't have done more episodes and more seasons, but in the sense that, after episode 36 the storyline flopped hard. Some consistency would have been nice.
I liked the actors, I liked their start and their development. I loved the cameos from other famous stars. They all played fantastically. Nevertheless, I can't help but be a disappointed by the end. But anyway. Good show. Based off the French show "Appelle mon agent" or Call my Agent, which I thought was good.
Meryem
This was good. I liked it a lot. The lead actors had good chemistry. I think my biggest complaint is just that it went on too long. I don't want to give too much away, but it's basically about this guy framing his girlfriend for negligent homicide and all the things that happen after. This guy is the biggest asshole ever and he's a creep besides, but he's also smarter than every other character which kind of pisses me off because except for like two unlucky instances, he's always winning in this show. And it gets very annoying to watch. I mean I liked the dilemma that was going on, how this girl was dealing with being gaslit by her abusive boyfriend and starting to see the light and all that. It was very interesting to watch how this horrible guy was able to get all these girls sucked into his orbit, because it's actually kind of believable. As the audience, we of course know how much of a shit he is, but it's these characters fall into his personality and it was very interesting to see how they have to fight their way out of it. But then it starts to get very annoying with how the other characters do these annoying things like, don't tell the police, or just agree that they'll kill someone for money, and I'm just here like... what. Why would you agree to that. That wasn't in the resume, you don't have to agree just for money.
Another thing that's annoying that is a reoccurring trope in dramas (in general, not just Turkish dizis) is that some characters just don't get held accountable for stuff that they do. Either it's not brought up or it's just forgiven.
The romance here is pretty nice too. It's a slowburn (and then a pretty fast burn once they get together) between the girl who was framed of negligent homicide and the guy who's girlfriend was killed. So obviously they are a little star crossed but interestingly that isn't touched upon a whole lot. I would have thought it would be more compelling if they just dropped the arc of trying to catch the real killer for the thousandth time and instead made it about how their relationship is trying to survive the trauma of her abusive relationship and the shadow of his deceased girlfriend. Unfortunately, it was a missed opportunity.
Honestly though, it was a good show. I got tired of it though by the twentieth jail break from the villain. So if it was shorter, I think it would be doing itself a lot of favors.
Erkenci Kus
Demet/Sanem and Can are cute in this, but honestly wasn't really my type. I got super bored in a lot of places and I didn't end up finishing it. Can, as much as I love him, was doing all these weird hand/arm gestures and he held his phone in a really weird way (which was definitely a directorial choice and I just don't understand why). There was a lot of cringe. The Demet's character, Sanem, was cute in some places but it could turn into an overload of cringe really quickly. I have enough cringe in my life doing my own cringy things, I don't need to watch someone else's. The beginning was good, but it became super drawn out and I just got really bored. Also the fights and arguments between the lead actors just weren't very compelling to me. Weirdly, while it can be compared to SCK, this one just wasn't very entertaining to me. I guess I didn't really get why their characters made the choices they made in some places. Basically, it could have been a much better show if they just cut it down.
Dolunay
Honestly, this might be better than EK, but I put it after because of cinematography and styles (fashion taste in EK is so much better). While it might not be fair, since EK came out later and had the benefit of better technology, I don't really care. That said, Dolunay actually had a better plot, I believed the characters conflicts and I just enjoyed it. It was a more serious drama. I watched it right after watching Bay Yanlis because I wanted more Can and Ozge. That said, very different vibes from the two shows. Also we can definitely see improvement in both their acting in BY.
Can's character, Ferit, was honestly my favorite. He was just so cool and patient that I admired him so much, especially for having to put up with as much shit as he did. I mean people were constantly fucking with him and his relationships. He wasn't a saint, but I mean his patience was on a whole other level and I very much admired that.
I wasn't that into the romance in this one. I basically rooted for the pair to get together out of spite for the other characters who were trying to get between them. But again, there were moments where I really liked the relationship. And I liked how well Ferit handled the problems in their relationship.
PS: there was a character, Alya, who I rooted for. She was a boss, honestly. Sadly, she left the show about midway through so I was very disappointed.
Bir Peri Masali
It was a show that I watched and did not hate. Skipped through most of it. It had some great scenes and the overall plot wasn't bad. The main characters were flawed and that's what made them interesting to watch. Chemistry between the actors wasn't the best. Alina's acting was the best part of the show, otherwise I wouldn't care too much about it. It was good enough to pass the time. Good cinematography.
Carpisma
Watching this was exhausting. I was really only into it because of Melisa and Alperen and I stuck with it as long as I have for them. But I couldn't anymore. Every character in this show is so dumb. I honestly hated watching it at that moment. I had to quit otherwise I would take a break from turkish dizi's entirely (which honestly might not be a bad thing since I've binged so much recently but I'm depressed and exhausted so whatever).
My reasons for not liking this was just that there was so much yelling and skipping over trauma and overreacting but under-reacting and I'm just... ugh.
It did great action scenes though. I will give it that. Much better choreography than other shows. And it did have a good plot. But also, an unbelievable one. SPOILER For example, what woman would spend time with the man that kidnapped her child, killed her husband and has been threatening the man she loves just because she wants to help find the man she loves mother who abandoned the guy when he was a baby. Like, you brought your child to see that man again. I can't. No. and the other guy is upset but gets over it in a minute. I'm just... no. I would never ever forgive that. (I didn't explain this well but please understand that its ridiculous).
I just got too exhausted with it. If you're into something heavy and complex then this would be a good show for you. But I'm not right now. I might come back to it later. But as it is, I abandoned it at episode 13, so... I really only stayed as long as I did for Melisa and Alp. And even their story couldn't keep me entertained (at least up to where I was).
Cherry Season
What can I say about this... I watched this one after Dolunay, again hoping for something good with Ozge and Serkan in it... unfortunately, I was left unsatisfied. I had seen it after watching Yeni Hayat, and after something as good as that, I could not get into something as stupid as Cherry Season. There were a lot of problems here. I am not laying any of them on the actor's feet, although admittedly, they definitely had improved later on which I am thankful for. I just was not a fan I guess. Which is annoying because it had a pretty good premise and plot initially, and it could have been really good. Unfortunately, it felt super stiff, and I mean everyone felt stiff. But like with other shows that run too long, it just got lost. They did dumb things to keep the lead couple separate for dumb reasons and I was just annoyed.
Also, there was this one scene that I really liked where Serkan is running after Ozge on a train, and I love that scene. I love that scene! I just hate that it happened. Because I wasn't done being mad at one of the characters for the stupid thing they did and I was frustrated. It was frustrating.
The side characters became annoying very quickly, and though I did enjoy watching them plot and do nefarious shit, it was still a bit much sometimes. And they got redemption arcs that I couldn't understand. I noticed this theme in Turkish dramas where they don't really hold people accountable for the shit they do and that frustrates me.
Basically, it was rushed while still at the same time, not going anywhere.
Glass Ceilings / Cam Tavanlar
Good actors with no chemistry and stiff acting. Where the plot is good, the dialogue is lacking. Where the cinematography is beautiful, the acting is stale. Where the actors are expressive (with their face and eyes), the movements are stiff. It was a good story and with better execution I would put it higher on my list. Great story about a woman being discriminated against in the work place. Properly shows the frustration and helplessness that is felt when women get looked over for their work but when the same work is done by a man, the tone changes. Good story, I'm sorry I couldn't put it higher on my list.

AU Explanation: You do not originate from the time of the Demon Slayers. In this Alternate Universe, you are a girl who was born in 2006 in Australia. Before your drug addicted mother died from an overdose, she never once mentioned the special secret that your family had unless it was just to play with you. As a child, you wished so bad to be the main character with cool superpowers, but of course as you matured you slowly let that fantasy go. But it wasn't until after you turned 13 when you randomly remembered that Witchcraft was indeed a thing and felt nothing but interest for it.
You don't know how or why you suddenly felt drawn to it, but you really didn't care. If anything, you were the only person who you knew didn't find Witchcraft that big of a deal. You thought that everyone should just accept it and find it normal. Your interest grew very slowly, and it was only until a few weeks after turning 14 when you decided in the middle of school that when you got home, you'd start your research on its history and it's differences. Then, when you felt like you were well educated and ready, you'd finally start to practice it.
But, of course, good timing wasn't on your side that often. In fact, nothing ever went as planned for you in your life. On that same day, you had gotten into yet another argument with your abusive, alcoholic father. Not to mention, it was right in front of your closest friend, Lydia. You trusted her with your thoughts and interests within Witchcraft and therefore, told her all about it.
And lucky for you, she grew an interest in it as well.
She happened to come home with you on that day as you both expected your father to be passed out on the floor during most of the time, but of course, on important days like this, your father just had to be awake and fully functioning. It wasn't even the alcohol that made him act so violently towards you, it was your plain existence, the alcohol would just make it even worse. Your guys' fight was one of the biggest you'd have yet again, and it got so heated to the point where you'd snatch Lydia's wrist and drag her to the nearest room for safety. The nearest room was your father's, you didn't care if he'd become even more mad at the fact that you were now violating his privacy, you just wanted to make sure that Lydia would be safe and you wouldn't become even more humiliated than you already were by getting a full on beating in front of her. If you had to knock your father out in front of her, then damn would it suck to be him.
After locking the door, you quickly started to look around for objects that you could defend yourselves with. You armed Lydia with two empty and thick bottles of alcohol and made it clear that if he dared approach her with the intention of harming her, then to smack the lights out of the man. The next place to look into was under his bed, and that was when you spotted a strange object. Despite the loud banging and yelling from outside of the room and feeling every bit of panic and fear that Lydia was feeling(As the poor Empath you were), you felt drawn to the object and didn't mind giving it a minute of your attention. The object really wasn't that strange, it shouldn't have been.
It was just strange for your brainless and ignorant father to have something that other actual, open-minded, intellectuals would also have laying all over the place.
It was a book. A really old, dusty and thick book. It had no title on it but it did have a name and date.
Greta Ricco
January 1, 1790
Ricco was your father's last name, but you always stuck with your mother's. Even though they both severely disappointed you as a daughter, you'd rather be with your narcissistic mother than with your hateful and ignorant and pitiful excuse of a human you were, as you'd say, cursed, to call your father.
'1790??' You thought to yourself in surprise,'How is this not in a museum?'
You gently flipped the book open and read it's first page
'Hmm, it's in Italian…' Good thing you decided to educate yourself on your Italian blood without any of your father's help as the independent girl you were
"This book belongs to all of the future descendants of the Ricco family. For the blood of our Witch ancestors runs through our veins"
Your father was a witch? But how come he'd never brought it up?
"The ------ in this book will only work for those who possess their blood. To whoever the owner is of this book, you are to do whatever you can to hide it from nonwitches"
Curious, (Y/n) flipped to the next page
"Sleeping"
Under the title were little paragraphs of words arranged in a poetic type of format. You continued to flip through its pages until one caught your eye.
"Time Stopping"
"(Y/n)"
You started to read the Italian texts in your mind.
"(Y/n)..."
For some reason, you felt intrigued by the strange poem. You basically poured your emotions into every word of it.
"(Y/n)!"
Lydia reached her hand out to you and before she was able to touch you, you had already finished reading the poem. And at the same time, the banging had stopped, and the whole house was once again silent. You looked up at Lydia, and she too was staring at the door, wondering why your father suddenly stopped trying to break in.
"Why did he stop?" Lydia asked
"I don't know…" You replied as you continued to look through the book
"Time Traveling"
'Eh?' You thought to yourself,'Time traveling?' Once again, you started to read the 'Poem' in your head
You read the words with emotion, not knowing what was awaiting you and your friend at the end of it. Once you finished off the last stanza, well, you couldn't really find the words to explain what had happened next. It was as if you and Lydia had teleported. You were just in your father's bedroom one second and in the next, a forest.
"What the fuck?!?!" Lydia exclaimed,"What the hell- Where- (Y/n) what just happened?! Weren't we just in your home?!??"
All you could do at that moment was just stare blankly at absolutely nothing with wide eyes. That one word that you couldn't read on the first page of the book was unable to be read because you never thought about its Italian translation. This wasn't some diary from a distant relative of yours, nor was it a book of poems. This was a book of spells. It can only explain why your family's witch bloodline was mentioned in it.
And from what you could assume from the first page, you were a witch since birth.
You guys couldn't go back home now. No matter how many times you had tried. You had just discovered your powers and were still clearly unable to control them.
To make a long story short, you and your friend eventually found your way around and got used to the new environment and Era. One day, you and your friend decide to use the Teleportation spell to admire Japan's beauty. There, you two met a teenager by the name: Kagaya Ubuyashiki. You three grew close, and eventually you told him about your secret. Luckily, he kept it to himself and you even promised to use your abilities to an advantage to survive one of the most dangerous Eras in Japan, that you two didn't even know you were currently living in. The Taisho Era.
If your father or the global pandemic wasn't going to kill you, the demons sure as hell would. Because you still couldn't master your witch abilities and knew that you had to be able to defend yourselves if you were to ever run into a demon, you guys decided to join the Demon Slayer Corps. It was the corps that Kagaya was currently leading. Years went by, and you and Lydia never aged mentally or physically. Your wounds from the day you discovered the spell book never healed.
But your skills grew, and you were ready to defeat demons with or without the help of magic. You started to view Kagaya as both a best friend and a father figure for you. You were there to welcome the rest of the Hashira after they earned their spots and because of your thoughtful, caring, bright and energetic personality, you got along with all of them very well. You and Lydia lived together in your own, huge mansion, that could only be accessed whenever you use the spell that you made just for it. It was only Kagaya, his daughters and the Hashira that knew about your and Lydia's secret.
You'd think that you would be the Pillar of Magic. But Lydia took that title, and instead, you were given the title of: the Pillar of Positivity. In this Alternate Universe, you are a 14 year old, iconic, Gen Z, Australian girl who is full of optimism, humor, hope, open-mindedness, confidence, love and compassion, power and badassery. Unlike Shinobu, your smiles and happiness are genuine, you are as happy as a person can get. Wait wait I'm changing my question ahah: What do you think of each of the guys in class 1A (do u like them, what u think of their character, simp or no simp etc)
LOL I don’t really know what Simp means. But On the boys in Class 1A, I’m guessing you’re asking how I like them? Favorites, least faves?
I guess I’ll rank them in order of how much I like them.
14. Mineta
Duh. He hasn’t been as bad lately, but he is still to me the least interesting character in all of class 1a with the most repulsive personality.
13. Sato
I have nothing against him or any of them after Mineta. Sato is just fine. He’s nice, he bakes, and he’s strong. We just don’t have much of his personality or backstory so there’s not a lot to judge him by.
12. Koda
Koda has a little more development since we got his backstory and he saved Jirou, so he’s cool. But again, not as well developed, so harder to engage with.
11. Sero
Similar to the previous two. HE has badass moments but we don’t know him as well. His personality is kind of funny and bold and I’d like to know more of him, but we just don’t have a ton to go on.
10. Ojiro
Like the main joke with Ojiro is that he’s “normal” and “boring”. And that’s just fine. He’s the average one. But he does have a cool aesthetic and he was nice to Deku and Iida.
9. Shoji
Shoji is quiet but cool. He was a total badass saving Deku in the forest and he’s generally reliable for stealth and ass kicking. His quiet and restrained personality is all right by me.
8. Aoyama
Aoyama’s backstory is sweet and touching. His personality is well defined, he’s funny and occasionally saddening, and he comes through when he’s needed. He’s a little too extra for me to get into, but all around good stuff.
7. Kaminari
Kaminari is cute, funny and fun; he has cool powers and is good at coming through for his friends. Again, he’s not the best developed character in terms of backstory, but we know his personality well.
6. Tokoyami
Cool, dark and edgy. A real badass. his struggles with controlling dark shadow were really interesting and it’s a shame we haven’t seen that side of him for a long time.
5. Kirishima
I like Kiri, his sad backstory, his relateable insecurity, his bravery and badassery and kind, loveable dynamics with everyone. I will say I think he’s just a tad overrated by the fandom, but that’s only because the fandom’s love for him is so overwhelming it couldn’t really be realistic for any character.
4. Iida
Iida is class a’s dad and great leader. Great friend, relatable flaws, and immediately identifiable character. He’s well defined, we know what he wants, and we love him for it. He needs more development now.
3. Shoto
Now onto the obvious top 3 - the Traffic Light Trio! It’s so hard to rank them, because I love them all so much. But Shoto does come in third, partially because his competition is so great, partially because he does end up being a little flat sometimes. He often is in the position of reacting to the whackiness around him, and he hasn’t had as much development himself per se as his relationships have had. But yes, I am all on board the Todoroki train. Our lovable troubled boy.
2. Deku
Believe it or not, my first MHA love, my original fave character, the one who drew me into the show - is now in second place. I used to think he’d never fall out of it, but then he spent this entire year being an asshole and making me wanna punch him, and that eventually  wore on my patience so much it knocked him down to second. But I still remember why I loved Deku originally. What makes him amazing, the embodiment of saving, and our hero.
1. Katsuki Bakugou
I have jumped on board the train. As of this year, Katsuk iis officially my favorite MHA boy, possibly character period. His development, his growth, his out there personality and complexity and layers; the way he’s only grown more and more relateable, likeable and kind. The way he’s come to help other characters grow even better. Kacchan only gets better and better as time goes on.
(If you’re asking who I want to date, the order is pretty much the same).

For the character asks: Fennec
!!!! Abi yes !!!! (I love Fen so much, she’s such a queen)
Favourite thing about them: her badassery. I know it seems stereotypical to say something like that seeing as she’s an assassin, but she’s actually extremely skilful and full of perseverance when it comes to her work/getting what she wants. I adore that about her.
Least favourite thing about them: Uhmm I’m not sure, her lack of screen time lmao? (And the fact she did try to kidnap Omega as a child, that wasn’t very cash money of you, Fen.)
Favourite line: “Take some advice, kid, you want to be a bounty hunter? Make the best deal for yourself and survive.”
BrOTP: Fennec and Boba!! Those two are amazing besties, I love seeing them rule together. (I do love her friendship with Din though.)
OTP: I don’t ship Fennec with anybody at the moment, but I wouldn’t be opposed to her getting some action, male or female.
NOTP: Din and/or Boba, I think they make a much better friendship trio rather than anything romantic.
Random headcanon: she gets really cold hands, and that’s one of the reasons she puts up with Tatooine, it helps warm her up. (And if my own little brain thoughts correlate well and we find out she had a screwed up life from birth, that she sleep talks.)
Unpopular opinion: I think she’s just as cool as Boba Fett, and deserves to be featured in a show that always heavily implied to be about her as well as him, despite the fact it is named after him, not her.
Songs I associate with them: The Mandalorian and TBOBF themes, and also “I’ll make a man out of you” (yes I’m aware of the irony lmao).
Favourite picture of them:
Tumblr media
(Technically not a photo but woah look at her- she is the moment.)
Thank you Abi!!! This was fun 💛

If you had to pick a woman to make a trio with Avalance who would you pick?
ooo that's a good one. a tough one, but a good one. thanks for the ask!
okay so. my very first instinct was to say felicity, bc i think it'd be very cute and also bc i've actually written an ava/sara/felicity fic before.
however. the more thought i put into it (which at the time of writing this is not necessarily a whole lot bc i just saw this ask like 2 seconds ago lmao), the more i think i'm not gonna be able to pick just One, bc each one i think about would be very cool or cute or w/e in it's own way. so i guess, instead of answering this with just One solid/definite answer, i'll give you a list of arrowverse woman (and for the record i have presently only watched arrow, supergirl, batwoman and legends (obviously, considering this is a legends blog lmao) so, probably won't be anyone from any of the other shows lmao) and a little thing of like, why i think it would be cool or w/e
felicity smoak - okay like i said, i just think it'd be really cute and also i have already written fic for it so, also i love smoakingcanary and i love avalance so why not combine them. also ava and felicity are both Nerds and i think their relationship would be great
nyssa al ghul - okay this is an obvious answer bc the 3 of them are top tier in terms of badassery and the 3 of them would be Very awesome and also v hot together
alex danvers - i mean c'mon, 2 directors and a captain of a timeship?? what more could i possibly want. it would be, Very cool
kara danvers - 1. it would be very cute, there would be So Much Cuddling and 2. uhh, kryptonian, hello, how cool would that be
nia nal - i just think it'd be super cute, and also i just Really love nia nal so
kate kane - again, very much badasses, it would be, very fun and very cool to see, i think the 3 of them would have a lot of fun
ryan wilder - at this point i started to be like "yknow what. why not." (i'm joking, mostly, I'm just tired lol it's like 1AM here). in all seriousness, i think ryan and sara would very much match each other's energies of like. "there's so many things that are fucked up in the world, we've very much seen and lived through them, and we are going to do everything possible in our power to make the world a little less fucked up and to fight for what's right." and they won't take crap from anyone but also know there are times when they need to be held accountable. and obviously ava is also like that too, but i think her being a clone and having most of her memories programmed she doesn't have Quite as many of those experiences of like. yes the world is really fucked up. like sara and ryan would, but she 100% has the idea of like. but it doesnt have to be that way, there are things they can do to make it better. i think it'd be a really cool dynamic to see.
sophie moore - pretty much the same reason for most of these lmao, they're all very badass and i just think it would be neat
zari tomaz - bc halfway through me making a list i realized that i'd failed to mention any of the women from legends, despite being perfectly free to do so. again, mostly, i just think it'd be neatand i think that the 3 of them would be able to help each other a lot.
charlie - just, it would be so good. so good. also imagine charlie and sara annoying the shit out of ava bc they got high together and accidentally woke ava up in the middle of the night
amaya jiwe - again just, it would be very cool, and i think ava and amaya's personalities would greatly help to ground sara, and ava and amaya would appreciate the extra level-headedness and calm and planning and stuff no matter how much they fondly but exasperatedly adore sara's recklessness

Had a narrative dream last night, sort of zany crime drama tone.
First, I illegible was not a character in this. I was for all intents and purposes a camera absorbing what was going on but not participating myself. The protagonist was a short, dark haired man with sharp features, probably in his forties, who had been involved with a criminal organization in the past. My understanding was that he nearly died and was in really severe psychological distress for a long time around the termination of his involvement in crime. By the time of the dream, he’d managed to settle down, developed slight dad bod, got married to a pretty wholesome lady with a good sense of humor who loved him a lot. Lady was blond with light colored eyes, twiggy, a little mischievous. Maybe dressed kind of frumpy at points but favored pastels. I don’t always remember this much physical detail but I do right now so I’m including it. Wife was aware of her husband’s past and, while this is dream logic, I think kind of compartmentalized her feelings there. She didn’t begrudge the criminality per se (even liked some of the romanticism surrounding his criminal activity) so much as she was very upset about the harm it did to her husband. Protagonist got to a place where he’d been stable and settled down in a law-abiding way for like ten, fifteen years. So had been a criminal in his twenties, maybe super early thirties and living the civvie life since then. And he was absolutely relieved and grateful for that stability and safety. But being settled down, he got kind of restless sometimes and daydreamed a little bit about having adventures or being involved in something dangerous/thrill-seeking again. The better moments, the romantic ideal of what he experienced but not the reality of it with all the harm it did. Two of protagonist’s old criminal work buddies, still in the field, get a sense of that restlessness and for all intents and purposes abduct their retired friend back into a mission. I know one of the friends had either very light brown or dark blonde hair, stubble, big and pretty muscular guy. Not stupid but meathead adjacent lol, if he had a DnD class he’d have been a barbarian. Full belly laugh kind of dude, could drink like no one’s business and enjoyed it. The second friend is harder for me to remember, I think he had a kind of dark/reddish complexion and was very posh? Might have been fully bald, more delicate features, very white teeth. His eyes really lit up when he was delighted. Anyway, protagonist got basically kidnapped by his friends (who thought they were giving him a gift--after all, they were with him to make sure he could enjoy another adventure without lasting damage) and dragged into an ongoing crime where some of the targets remembered the protagonist as he’d once been and still reacted like he had some capacity for badassery. Angry people. Protagonist was having a major conniption, absolutely panicked, yelling at his friends, thinks his life is over, etc. Had to participate in the crime-adventure stuff as part of “I need to get back” but basically the friends were like :/ we go to all this trouble to give you some relatively harmless adventure (by their standards) and this is the thanks we get? God man loosen up. Live a little. You’ve gotten so neurotic, we thought you missed this? Meanwhile, protagonist is like “I CAN’T FIGHT LOOK AT ME, I’M OUT OF SHAPE AND IT’S BEEN YEARS AND I WANT TO GO HOME AND I SWEAR I BARELY REMEMBER ANY OF THIS WHY WOULD YOU EVER THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA??!!??!” Very, very high strung. Lots of chases, trio got in over their head kind of by accident which borderline gave protagonist a heart attack, got posh guy separated, and big guy is just sheepish like “eh it got a little messy it’ll be fine come on don’t have a fit it’s not that bad.” Meanwhile, protag’s wife has been actively looking for him and manages to track down her husband + big guy... which results in protagonist being even more distraught because oh god his wife is a complete civilian, she’s going to get killed because of him, he can barely manage himself here how is he going to get them out of this? And he has work on Monday! Wife is trying to console her husband in the spirit of “it’s not that bad, it’ll be fine”-- like sincerely worried about him, but also he isn’t going to think straight if he’s that overwhelmed. She wanted to dislike big friend but wound up really getting along with him, big friend finds wife funny and adorable. Wife is determined to be useful in the adventure and kind of gungho about it, having zero experience whatsoever, and her husband is like oh god I need to make sure she isn’t traumatized or hurt in any of this. The last bit I remember is that big friend, protagonist, and wife wound up cornered at one point only to get their asses saved by posh friend with the best distraction/escape ever. Posh friend managed to slip under the radar while the rest of them were freaking out making a mess of things, and used that position to strategize and get a lot of shit done + make an exit strategy. Protagonist was basically hysterical laughing in relief, wife thought it was best thing ever, big guy is like OF COURSE YOU WOULD PULL THAT OFF, posh dude was preening. I don’t think they were totally out of danger, but they managed to get decently ahead of it.

How would they react to Tom Bombadil: luthien tinuviel
Oh ho ho! My love!
How would they react to Tom Bombadil: Oh she'd totally vibe with him. She'd probably figure out what his whole deal was right away, and they'd have weird song-conversations about their spouses.
and everything else-
1-3 things I enjoy about them: Everything? I guess specifically it's her utter unhinged badassery for the sake of devotion. Boyfriend sent on a suicide quest? Break out of her home/prison to come along. Boyfriend captured by Sauron? Beat Sauron into the ground, no biggie. Boyfriend killed? Die and yell at Death until he gets sent back. Iconic, all of it.
Something interesting about them based on tenuous circumstantial evidence: Ok I'm a big proponent of Eldritch Luthien, but even sticking to pure canon/authorial intent... the Implications? of a half maia? And she's shown to be extraordinarily powerful even in text.
A question I have about them: Did she and Beren keep their bodies after Mandos, or get new ones?
A random relevant line I like: "And long ago they passed away/ In the forest singing sorrowless"
My preferred version, if there is more than one version of their story (or part of their story): The Silm version is pretty good, and the Lay, but both with the Tale of Tinuviel caveat that Daeron is her brother.
Favorite relationship(s): Literally all of them. Her and Beren the ultimate powercouple, + Huan for the Silm Quest Trio, her and Finrod as weird cousin besties, her and Daeron as best siblings forever, her with Dior as mom extrordinare...
Something about them that I think people forget: She'd probably met Finrod, because the Arafinweans were the only Noldor allowed in Doriath, and by diplomatic necessity they probably showed up at least once.
