Barbie Movie FAILS the Bechdel Test?!
For all the discussion of Barbie being a feminist movie, it actually fails the Bechdel Test. Geeky breaks down her thoughts on this, and also talk about her favorite Barbie dolls from the past.

I saw a Youtube comment talking about how, in the episode "Crosscross," Silas was able to track Jack's location and personal info via social media, so why didn't the Decepticons just do THAT all this time, so they could track the humans/Autobot base?
Then all the commenters agreed that it's because the CAPTCHA "I am not a robot" thing actually works on Decepticons, because they are, in fact robots.
I love this and it shall now be my crack headcanon.
(In all seriousness, I actually don't think it's a plot hole. I think it's a great example of the Decepticons' characterization.
The real reason Decepticons never tried social media tracking is because they're too proud to use human technology. To them, it's considered "inferior."
I'm fascinated by the idea that, if they hadn't underestimated human technology, they could have found all these Autobot secrets, like the location of their base and humans, EASILY. But they never bothered, because "oh, that's worthless human tech."
Keep in mind, in one episode, Starscream actually did explore the human internet, and almost located Bumblebee that way, but the others made fun of him for it (the tap-dancing monkey incident) so we can see they don't respect it enough to give it their time.
It also kinda shows how MECH, to some extent, has an advantage against the Autobots because they're all humans, and are therefore better aquatinted with Earth. Even Airachnid didn't realize social media would be a useful weapon until Silas explained it to her. The Decepticons are obviously more powerful since they're giant aliens, but MECH uses their humanity and Earth knowledge as their greatest strength. It's kinda neat.

Just shy of half past 1 in the morning, the MV Dali, a giant container ship, was sailing gently out of the port of Baltimore when something went terribly wrong. Suddenly, lights all over the 300-meter-long vessel went out. They flicked on again a moment later, but the ship then began to veer to the right, toward one of the massive pylon-like supports on the Francis Scott Key truss bridge—a huge mass of steel and concrete that spans the Patapsco River.
The Dali’s lights went out a second time. Then the impact came. The ship plowed into the support, with large sections of the bridge’s main truss section instantly snapping apart and falling into the river. It took just 20 seconds or so for the structure to come down.
Now, a major US port is in disarray, and several people who were working on the bridge at the time of its collapse are missing. A rescue operation is underway. President Biden has called the disaster a “terrible accident.” Ship traffic is currently stuck on either side of the crash site, and a major roadway through Baltimore has been cut off.
“It’s a dreadful tragedy and something you hope never to see,” says David Knight, a bridge expert and specialist adviser to the UK’s Institution of Civil Engineers. But commenting on footage of the bridge collapse, he says he is not surprised by the manner in which it crumpled.
Large steel structures may seem invulnerable, but steel, explains Knight, is relatively lightweight for its size. As soon as it is pushed or pulled the wrong way with enough force, it can fold like paper. In this case, the Francis Scott Key Bridge was a “continuous,” or unjointed, bridge that had a 366-meter-long central truss section. (Truss bridges use steel beams, arranged in triangular shapes, to support their load.) The central truss was made up of three horizontal stretches, known as spans, with two sets of supports holding these above the water. It was the third-largest structure of its kind in the world.
“When you take a support away, there is very little in the way of robustness,” says Knight. “It will drag down, as we saw, all three spans.” The separate approach spans remain standing. There is nothing in Knight’s view that immediately suggests any structural problem with the bridge. An engineering firm, Hardesty & Hanover, confirmed to WIRED that it performed an inspection of the bridge in 2019, and that other inspections have been carried out since, but did not provide any additional details on the state of the structure. WIRED has approached H&H for further comment. In June last year, the US Federal Highway Administration rated the condition of the bridge as satisfactory.
The immense force of the container ship impact should not be underestimated, adds Knight. Such vessels require a lot of power and time—perhaps many minutes—to come to a complete stop. The Francis Scott Key Bridge was completed in 1977. In more recent decades, bridge engineers have commonly incorporated defenses to reduce the potential damage by ship strikes when bridges are erected in similar locations, Knight says. These include hydraulic barriers and additional concrete around the base of bridge supports, for instance. However, even with such fortifications in place, heavy strikes can still cause devastating damage.
It is not clear why lights turned off and on again on the Dali, a Singapore-flagged ship built in 2015. “That is an indication of a massive problem,” says Salvatore Mercogliano, a maritime historian at Campbell University in North Carolina and a YouTuber who has analyzed the crash.
At the time of the accident, two pilots—mariners who board a ship to help it navigate particular stretches of water, including in and out of ports—from Baltimore were on board. The Dali was broadcasting its position publicly via the automatic identification system (AIS) and was traveling at a speed of over 8.5 knots. It then slowed to around 6 knots in the moments before the crash, according to AIS data.
Both pilots and all crew members on the Dali are accounted for. There are no reports of injuries, the ship’s management company, Synergy Group, said in a statement on March 26.
ABC News reports that the crew of the vessel made a desperate mayday call in an attempt to warn transport officials that the crash was about to occur. A report from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, seen by ABC, says the Dali “lost propulsion” and that the crew were aware they had “lost control” of the ship. Maryland governor Wes Moore told reporters that, thanks to the mayday call, officials were able to stem the flow of traffic over the bridge, an intervention that he says “saved lives.”
Mercogliano says it is very difficult for ships of this size to make rapid adjustments to their trajectories. Video footage shows a sudden outpouring of smoke from the vessel’s stack, indicating a change in engine activity of some kind. What is particularly disturbing is that, in this case, the vessel ends up plowing straight into one of the key supports for the bridge, clearly off course. No information as to why this happened has become public.
Photographs of the aftermath show the bow of the ship pinned beneath fallen sections of the bridge. The anchor chain is visible, meaning that at some point the anchor was dropped, though it is not certain whether this happened before or after impact. The chain appears to be at an angle, however, which Mercogliano says could be a sign that it was dropped shortly before the crash and dragged for a brief time.
Lawyer James Turner of Quadrant Chambers in London specializes in, among other things, ship collisions. He says that there would have been no automated systems on board a merchant ship of this kind able to prevent the impact. Information from radar, AIS, and visual observations would have been available to the crew, however.
But data-collecting systems may now reveal exactly what happened. As on airplanes, commercial ships have data and audio recorders on the bridge, which are often a key source of information for investigators post-incident. “The master will hit a button and that ensures that the last two hours of audio recording are preserved, as well as all the data from the various parts of the ship, like the engine and steering and so on,” explains Turner. “That can be downloaded and queried.”
He adds that estimates of the ship’s speed at the time of the incident as recorded by AIS are likely “99.99 percent accurate.”
For now, the focus of responders will be on locating survivors from the fallen bridge. Two people have been rescued, one of whom is in the hospital. Six construction workers remain missing.
The disaster has come at a difficult time for shipping, with drought afflicting the Panama Canal and Houthi attacks striking multiple vessels in the Red Sea in recent months. Somali piracy is on the rise again, also. The grounding of the Ever Given in the Suez Canal is very much still within recent memory—it occurred a mere three years ago.
The Port of Baltimore insists in a statement that it has not been shut down—road vehicles are still operating within the port—however, all ship traffic in and out is suspended until further notice. AIS data reveals around a dozen commercial vessels at anchor outside the port, their entry now blocked by the stricken bridge and the Dali. It will take some time for the US Army Corps of Engineers to remove the steel pieces of the bridge, which present a significant threat to passing vessels, from the river.
“Whatever ships are in the port are now stuck,” says Mercogliano, who notes that Baltimore is an important port in terms of car deliveries and coal exports.
Overall, he argues, maritime operations are extremely safe today, though the volume and velocity of trade mean that when things go wrong it can be especially serious.
“We move goods a lot faster than ever before, and there’s very little margin for error,” he says. “When there is a mistake, the mistakes tend to be very large.”

AU - Chapter 2. Ava starts a dumb YouTube channel where she makes complicated recipes badly. Maybe people show up for that, but they kind of stay for her conversations with her roommate - who stays off-screen. Mostly.
-
chapter 2 excerpt:
It’s not, like, massively surprising that her subscribers manage to track down her Instagram account. Her account is public, and while Ava has never linked or promoted any of her other socials on YouTube, she’s no stranger to the idea of a bit of internet sleuthing.
Every now and then, she’ll even do a little digging herself. Most recently, her research powers have been directed to finding out exactly how tall Gwendolyn Christie is (for an argument with Lilith) and trying to get a read on that pretty girl from the gym who always asks Beatrice to spot her — just a teeny weeny background check, to make sure she’s not a serial killer. Or single.
(Lucia, as it turned out, is single. And she follows Hayley Kiyoko, Emma D’Arcy, and Janelle Monae on Instagram. That was not at all comforting for Ava to learn.)
Anyway, while Ava doesn’t have a problem with her new online buddies trawling through pictures of cool pebbles from the sidewalk and dogs she’s met at the beach, she’s never really considered the amount of identifying information in her posts. Until recently, virtually everyone who followed her was someone Ava knew in real life.
She raises it with Beatrice while they’re doing dishes. Considering the amount of mess Ava manages to create while cooking, it’s very fortunate that she lives with someone who finds washing up to be relaxing.
“Maybe you should make another profile,” Beatrice suggests. “Separate professional and personal.”
“I think the last thing anyone would call my channel is professional .”
“I disagree. Don’t underestimate the skills that go into it, just because you find it fun,” she replies, handing Ava another plate for her to dry. “You’ve managed to produce something engaging. That’s not easy. If I could do that, my students would’ve done better on their midterms.”
“Almost all of them passed! And you’re a great teacher. It’s not your fault they’re lazy little shits.”
“ Ava. ”
“I can say that! I was a lazy little shit. Slash am currently. I nearly gave you an aneurysm freshman year, remember?”
“You asked me when the exam was on the morning of the exam.”
“Lucky, right? Imagine if I’d missed it.”
Beatrice lets out a controlled breath. “Yes. Lucky.”
Except not that lucky, because Ava had actually been asking in the hopes of roping Beatrice into a study session or two or three. That was back when she was still trying to figure out how to gently nudge Beatrice into being friends with her outside of class, and Ava was not above drastic measures like actually doing revision to make it happen.
“Just — promise me that you’ll be careful?” Beatrice says, with that serious look she gets whenever Ava expresses even the mildest discomfort, boredom, or unease. “I know that you’re enjoying yourself, but I want you to be safe.”
Ava leans across and kisses Beatrice on the cheek, taking great satisfaction in the way the mug in Beatrice’s hands suddenly slips back into the soapy water.
“I’ll be super careful,” Ava promises.

Sorry if this is a little foggy and poorly worded, but I have been sitting on this thought all day, after working on a scene from Mamoru Hosoda's Wolf Children, and might as well put it here. The scene in question is the one where little wolf-boy Ame, sweet child who loves stories and picture books and who struggles to come to terms with his hybrid identity, one day while out in the woods with his sister and his mother on a sort of wolf-training excursion suddenly starts crying. And the reason why is crying is that, in all the picture books, he keeps seeing the wolf depicted as the bad guy that ends up shooed away or killed. And because of such representations, now he wants to repress his wolf identity, that has always been a lively and funny, although hard to figure out, part of his life. He is terrified of being what he is because the narrow representations that he has access to tell him that the world does not like people like him. It's a powerful little moment in a beautiful movie, that always makes me tear up, and if you missed it I highly recommend you watch it. If you are not into anime movie and just curious of the scene, I found a clip on YouTube:
youtube
Anyway, this scene made my lonely braincel twitch, and I was thinking, now that we are approaching the end of this glorious - as far as the mediascape is concerned - year 2023, that many people underestimate the enormous power of fantasy narratives in expanding the borders of gender (and minority in general) representation. Having an author canonically establish that certain fixed categories do not apply to one or more characters for in-universe reasons takes away that nasty oblique excuse that some people use to deny and disparage diversity in media (where I live they usually sound like "they only made this character a person of color to please the woke liberalsTM even if the historical context doesn't allow it", or even, comically, "it is narratively implausible that this character is or shows to be queer but they were forced to do it by THE GAY LOBBY" - yes, this is an actual conspiracy theory loudly promoted by Italian journalists and politicians, and yes, I am personally deeply ashamed by it). Obviously, almost none of said people has the faintest actual interest in narrative aspects, but they still use the excuse to pollute the public discourse and attack minorities. And I am aware that there is a possible dark pitfall here: in the best possible world, we should not need to take the route of fantasy settings to have something that should never have been denied in the first place, but from a pragmatical standpoint it does work. Having authors saying "nope, sorry not sorry, they are wolf-children / angels and demons / weird vampires / anachronistic pirates in a fantasy context so your self-proclaimed laws of plausibility do not apply and you can shove them where the sun does not shine while we enjoy the show and put this beautiful, funny, delicate, deep and sad things on screen", is like having a cultural picklock which is also a cultural battering ram thrusting the representation-door open. Shows like Good Omens, Our Flag Means Death, What We Do in the Shadows (and their fandoms with their massive collective creative endeavour), by offering the symbolic shield of a fantasy setting can establish a safe space where 1. queer people (especially young people but not only) can finally recognize themselves and stop feeling like they are alone and don't have the words and images they need to describe themselves; 2. not queer people can get used to a larger set of possible identities and not only realise that 100% of said idenities are in fact - hold on to your butts - still people with thoughts and feelings and needs, but also, through the power of mimesis, acquire a deeper understanding of forms of life that they don't directly experience. Including, hopefully, understanding how similar we all are when it comes to us being ultimately a bunch of naked apes who walk on this spinning rock trying to be as little miserable as possible.
Again, sorry if this sounds clumsy and blunt, given how delicate and complex this subject is (one does not simply walk into Mordor talk about the lives and needs of other people like that), but I had this thought stuck in my shallow brain wrinkles and I wanted to try and put it into words.

What's especially funny about the guy who remade Garten of Banban in a week is that, prior to then, he'd never actually made a game. He was practically flying by the seat of his pants, watching tutorials and stuff, and still managed to make a better game. In other words, yeah, he should absolutely make some original games.
Never underestimate the power of someone who's bored and has access to Youtube tutorials

Azul Info Compilation Part 6: Book 4
Book 4 opens with the information that Azul, Jade and Floyd do not go home for winter break as they live in the “far northern reaches of the Coral Sea” and “at this time of year, the whole surface is covered in ice floes”.
The player and Grim get caught up with drama at Scarabia, are briefly held prisoner and escape on a magic carpet only to crash into Mostro Lounge, where Azul greets them by saying he has mistaken them for “dingy dustcloths”.
This expression struck a chord with fans on JP server who adopted it, and even now searching for the term “dingy dustcloths”—even without a mention of Azul or twisted wonderland or anything else at all—will get you a bunch of twst screenshots, videos and octavinelle fan art.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The "dingy dustcloths" line was also picked up by the Disney Games YouTube show "Good Boy!". While full episodes are hosted by Crewel's VA, this mini episode is just Azul's VA trying to guess what "a pair of dingy dustcloths" means in Japanese.
youtube
After ejecting the Scarabia students from Mostro Lounge and explaining that the player and Grim will be charged for the damage done to the lounge, Azul hears the story of what has been going on and decides that Jamil—his “very own classmate”—is in need of his help.
Azul strong-arms his way into Scarabia to return the flying carpet despite Jamil’s insistence he stay out (“I won’t even ask for my standard twenty percent finder’s fee”), guilts Kalim into allowing them to stay and offers to “share any insights” he has with the dorm.
They deduce quickly that Kalim is being mind-controlled, with Floyd saying “You gotta have skills and power on par with Azul for that”, though Azul himself says “Even I would be hard-pressed to control living creatures with their own egos like humans”.
It is Azul who suspects Jamil (“a clever hawk hides its talons”) and creates the plan to take him down.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Azul’s plan appears to involve easing the load on the students of Scarabia so that they are no longer tempted to overthrow Kalim and replace him with Jamil.
It is through Jamil’s attempt to mind control Azul that we learn that Jamil’s unique magic apparently causes its victim physical pain until they submit to him.
Jamil underestimated the extent to which Azul plans for all eventualities, however:
Azul entered into a contract with Floyd, taking Floyd’s unique magic (“bind the heart”, which allows him to deflect magical attacks) and gifting Floyd a deep voice in exchange.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jamil overblots and banishes everyone to the desert, where Azul explains to Kalim that he is the one who pushed Jamil over the edge.
They return to the dorm through Kalim’s unique magic (producing water of any quantity with little effort) and Jade and Floyd’s eel forms, with Azul refusing to transform as he “isn’t a fast swimmer, even in his mer-form”.
(It has been pointed out to me that octopi are very fast, but in Twst Azul is canonically slow compared to other mer-people, so I don’t know what to tell you ww His slowness is one of the things that he was bullied for as a child and pushed him to overblot in Book 3.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Book 4 Jade claims that Jamil’s confession was live-streamed, but in Book 5 Azul explains that this was a bluff (“I can’t believe you thought that I, the very soul of benevolence, would willingly destroy a classmate’s reputation and social standing!”) and that his phone was on a speaker with Jade. Azul explains that “unlike Leona” he doesn’t “torment others for sport”, does not do more than what is necessary, and that he “obtained some perfectly good intel from the experience. I would never dream of devaluing my own assets!”
Jamil admits that, thanks to Azul, his and Kalim’s families never learned why he overblotted. Grim points out that Jamil has changed and Azul says “I much prefer it this way...Octavinelle’s doors are always open to you.” Jamil says that he will never transfer to Octavinelle.

hi hi!kinda new to this lol-
but uh how would pazu react to a creature let's say a demon,stronger than him,and what's his power level?I'm so curious!!!!
(totally not asking to try to powerscale My oc with pazu-)
also I just started following you and you've been popping up on my recommended on yt and ur so cool!!!!
love ur art and artstyle!!!!!
hmm i’m not really sure how to answer this, just because of the context of a lot of in-universe things. like if a ghost stronger than pazu existed within the same vicinity as pazu, then he’d be dead (or double-dead i guess, since he already died), unless he managed to outsmart them (technically how he gained a lot of his current power, so). and the only time he actually did “lose” was because he underestimated humans and got too cocky, then got sealed in a dumb idiot box. those are the only two threats to him that exist within that universe, but i guess in a non-canon vacuum if someone more powerful than him appeared and didnt instantly kill^2 him, he’d just be really upset lolol. the only reason his personality is the way it is is because he’s completely confident he’s the strongest, when he thinks he’s even at the slightest disadvantage he loses his cool
thank you though!! i am very happy to hear that you enjoy my shtuff :3 i truly never planned on operating a youtube account but i’m glad it has expanded the community a little bit

Game Villain Night: Thoughts on Social Media
Bowser: You know, guys, I've got to admit, I enjoy social media. I've got a whole underground network of Koopas sharing memes about my turtle shell. It's good fun!
Dr. Eggman: Fun? Social media is a disaster! My robots were supposed to revolutionize the online world, but they just can't stop posting malfunction videos on YouTube.
Albert Wesker: I find the whole thing distasteful. It's a playground for the foolish. But it's useful for monitoring my adversaries' movements.
Ganondorf: I, on the other hand, thrive on it. Instagram has been a valuable tool for boosting my evil image. You can't underestimate the power of a menacing selfie!
Sephiroth: I couldn't care less about it. I'm too busy saving the world or destroying it, depending on my mood. Those TikTok dance challenges just don't interest me.
Kazuma Mishima: I keep things simple. A few Instagram photos of my training, some meditation quotes, but nothing too excessive. Social media can be a distraction from mastering your martial arts.
Bowser: (smirking) Well, you have to admit, it's entertaining. Sometimes I even engage in friendly banter with Mario online.
Dr. Eggman: (frustrated) Friendly banter? I can't even get my robots to deal cards properly. How do you manage social media, Bowser?
Albert Wesker: (smirking) I'd rather watch my enemies make fools of themselves online. It's quite satisfying.
Ganondorf: (grinning) And I'll continue to harness its power for my evil plans. #GanondorfDominates
Sephiroth: (nonchalant) Social media will never change the fact that I'm an iconic villain. Trending or not, I'll be remembered.
Kazuma Mishima: (calmly) Let's focus on the game, gentlemen. Social media can wait. The cards don't lie.

-Nryry_Transformer- : I'm not sure if you will do this request or not since it is Shattered Glass Transformers Prime.
I am a sucker for SG Transformers Prime ( Mainly for SG Starscream ) and I made this video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/ov-TPyL2y3k
So my request is basically the video, SG Megatron , SG Knockout, SG Knockout and SG Starscream discuss about (I think) SG Starscream going alone to fight the undead Cybertronians and the others being worried about him.
Universe: Shattered Glass Transformers Prime.
Nice animation ^^ thanks for your request Nryry 😊
~~~
The dead had been brought back, desecrated by the so-called Prime, corrupted by a false Matrix and a vengeful God, their own planet. Bright Energon had been used for evil purposes, taken away from its original power, abused in the worst possible ways.
The Decepticons were in their base, thinking of a way to stop this army of undead. Before it is too late. There was one way to stop them, only one, possible for only one of them.
“I’m the only one who can do it. Starscream declared.
- It's too dangerous! Megatron objected, shaking his head sharply.
- You are indeed the only one who can find the Energon that is the cause of all this, but you don't have to face all these undead alone! added KnockOut.
- I don't mean to be mean, but I'm the best flyer on our team. Even with the greatest will, Megatron and Soundwave will never be able to keep up with me.
- But we can slow down the undead for you! replied the Communications Commander.
- ... I don't want you to take such a risk!
- You are the one who takes the biggest right now! replied the leader of the Decepticons.
- Don't underestimate me, Megatron. We absolutely must destroy the crystal that is the cause of all this, and it is only accessible to me. Besides, you just risk getting massacred... I have no intention of fighting against these undead, my objective is to avoid them as much as possible.
- Starscream has a point. agreed the doctor. We can't help him with that. If we try to intervene we risk distracting him from his objective.
- I know…” sighed the ex-gladiator with defeat.
The Seeker placed a comforting hand on his leader's shoulder, and said:
“I’ll come back, I promise.
- I hope so. Megatron replied, placing his hand on the jet's. I'm counting on you, show them what you're capable of!"
The flyer smiled, and raised his wings with determination, ready to fight! Ready to show this corrupt Prime what they're made of!
~
Starscream stood above the cliff, below and above him were all the brought dead, tainted by a power that should not be in anyone's hands. He was going to destroy the corrupt good at the source!
The Seeker closed his optics, tracing the Bright Energon, going back to it, evaluating the trajectory necessary to reach it, to destroy it, to save it. The jet clenched his fists, and spread his wings, facing the horizon which will take him to his goal.
The flyer took off, and the walking corpses wasted no time in noticing him. As they approached, Starscream had no intention of letting it happen! The Seeker drew his swords, and activated his reactor, propelling himself into the teeming mass of the flying dead.
The jet dodged and sliced the beings too daring, leaving them no chance. The flyer weaved through it, never leaving sight of his trajectory, which was at the very center of this entire cluster.
Dead people were called by the crystal, asking them to return to protect it. Starscream frowned, thinking of a way to cross this rampart of bodies, when he was brutally hit by one of the corpses.
The Seeker rolled several times, and catch up as best he could, but lost one of his swords in the process. The jet hissed, and decided not to dwell on it. The flyer jumped, and used his reactor to gain height and strength, freeing himself from the grip of the deads.
Starscream rose higher and higher, before letting himself fall. He pointed his sword and his body towards the rampart, and rushed at full speed in a dive in its direction, almost at the limit of the sound barrier. The Seeker struck with all his might, destroying the shield that the Bright Energon had created for itself.
The crystal created a dome of energy around it, but the jet did not give up his quest, and added more power to his propellant, before delivering one last brutal and fateful blow, which ended up getting the better of this poor lost energon.
The Bright Energon exploded, causing a huge blast that reduced the bodies to dust, and propelled Starscream backwards. The Seeker rolled several times before hitting one of the cliff walls with force.
The jet coughed in pain, but smiled, happy to have succeeded in his mission. It was then that he saw a portal forming in front of him, and heard a scream of rage coming out of it.
The flyer widened his optics in shock when he saw Optimus Prime appear. He tried to move, but he was too hurt to do so. The corrupted Prime aimed his blaster at Starscream, who clenched his wings, while the leader of the Autobots growled:
“I’m going to make you pay for your audacity! Damn Seeker!"
Another ground bridge formed, and Optimus could do nothing to dodge a violent punch from Megatron. The Prime fell backwards, and by the time he got up, the leader of the Decepticons and his Second-in-Command were already gone.
~
KnockOut grumbled while repairing Starscream, scolding him, and reminding him that he had promised to be careful.
“I did my best, KO. the Seeker simply replied.
- It's not by doing your best that you achieve perfection, my dear!"
The jet raised his optics to the sky, which did not fail to offend the doctor, who punished him for his insolence by slapping his helmet.
"Hey! the flyer said indignantly.
- The main thing is that he's okay, KnockOut. Megatron said.
- Without your intervention things could have been very different! the red car declared vigorously.
- Let's not dwell on the "what ifs". Soundwave replied. All that matters is the current result.
- And what a result!" smiled the leader of the Decepticons.
The ex-gladiator approached his Commander, and said:
"Well done, Starscream.
- My my my! What would you do without me! the Seeker teased.
- Probably not much."
The jet waved his wings, before laughing lightly. He had succeeded. They had succeeded! The Autobots had better watches out. The Decepticons will never let them win!
“What will it bring you”
Tumblr media
Pile two 💌:
Affirmation: "I can trust that all things will get better for me with time & that there is always solutions.
Someone may not want this message to get to you pile two. This has deleted like so many times lol. I’m fed up but but let’s hope it works this time. I immediately channeled “How you gonna” by Sydney Renae, specially her version because I know the original is by Tyrese. If you’ve never heard the song please listen to it, it might resonate with you.
youtube
There’s something here about courage or independence coming through for you pile two or even self respect and re-establishing yourself in some way shape or form. There’s some type of change that could be taking place or has taken place already within your life at this time pile two. Something very sudden and quick or maybe even something unexpected. This all has to do with alignment though and plenty of things around you could be being moved around in your favor even though it doesn’t seem like it at the moment. Something wasn’t meant for you or your spirit guides knew it wasn’t meant for you and is simply saying that they no longer felt the need to allow this person, this situation or whatever it was to continue to be in your orbit or around you in your energy the way that it has before. Two of cups in reverse here, there’s an energy of breakups and disharmony or distrust within your relationships or connections. There’s also something coming through about self-love. You could be in a connection that was placed within your life to shake you up so you can learn what it truly meant to have self love. You could have past life karma or may even be in need of a past life regression or guided meditation.
⭐️~ there are plenty of guided past life regressions on YouTube and I would recommend that for you pile two. This may answer many questions about your life, about your experiences and about how you feel currently and what you’re going through.
You are set to learn a very large lesson within this lifetime about self love and about your self worth. There could be aspects of your life that have been very traumatic or have very violently affected your self esteem or your self concept or your idea of self worth or your ability to love yourself. And a lot of the times when we’re put on this earth to live a life there are certain circumstances and experiences that are chosen for the greater good or so that you can be able to fully ascend or grow the way you are meant to, finally, and once and for all. Even if those experiences are traumatic or aren’t beautiful or desirable or ideal.
This new moon, the month of April, have been leading up to this resolution of some type of pattern within your life rearing it’s end or flaring up to the point where it must be addressed or it just be seemed clearly and honestly. You may have a lot of self limiting beliefs, you may suffer from anxiety, you may be your own biggest critic, you may suffer from an eating disorder or an entrapment of the mind that causes you to see yourself in a way that isn’t really real. But this is a time of being open to new perspectives and for new perspectives to come to you. There’s patterns within your life, within your behaviors, within your relationships, within the relationship or connection you’re dealing with currently, within your household, etc. sooo many patterns and I think it’s now time you start to be awakened to those things and make proactive choices.
There is also a very strong possibility for manifestation at this time. Deciding what you want is a very powerful thing and people underestimate it often. By being proactive, by taking tiny steps towards putting yourself first or allowing things that are apart of your life that kept you down to not have access to you anymore you are manifesting something, manifesting a new life, manifesting healing, manifesting peace and better days. You are someone who may need to learn a lot of lessons within your life pile two, you are someone who may have had to learn things by repetition when it comes to life experiences, you may be someone who has to repeatedly go through hard things to finally have a breakthrough and make a change, and you’ve had your cycle and now it’s time to break it and move forward.
I keep hearing “you have to grow up” you may be entering adulthood or entering a part of your life that requires some maturity or some sort of proactive thinking or behavior or some type of self discipline and awareness regarding many things even things such as relationships and behaviors. There’s something coming up that I’m channeling about accountability to, you could be in the process of practicing accountability or practicing holding yourself and holding others accountable but it may be taking you some practice to truly gauge what accountability truly means. What it means to take accountability for the right things and not carry burdens or responsibility that does not belong to you, what it means to take accountability for your actions and show yourself grace and respect at the same time, etc.
Mental clarity and the truth is coming for you pile two it’s very violently and clearly on its way lol. You have to find authority within yourself. There’s something here about being a leader or taking the initiative or taking responsibility or being the person within your life to break generational curses, to break through barriers or to make conscious decisions and choices to live better and do better. For a long time you may have considering yourself to be someone who sort of goes with the grain, goes the way that other people wants to them to go, or someone who tries not to rock the boat or cause disturbances for fear of rejection, being mistreated or rejected, etc. but it’s time for you to really shake shit up, it’s time for you to be the leader, it’s time for you to be the advocate and to move to the best of your own drum.
You may even feel the urge to really take over and move things around the way you like them and do as you need to do for yourself but there is many distractions and delays within your life right now. And there’s a large need to cut them out. If there is a lack of direction I encourage you to find some and you may do that by cutting out things within your life that bring confusion, bring lack of direction, bring uncertainty, bring frustration or bring upon you emotions that don’t serve you or cause you to feel stagnant, depressed or stuck. Sit with yourself for a moment and find some inner clarity or be open and honest about the people and the situations in your life, this is a good moment to hold people around you accountable for their actions and to act upon it as well. There is no need to keep around people or keep around things that cause you distress, cause you pain or are not kind or good to you within your life. It feels as though there is a reason but those are really just excuses and that is the truth. Things will improve for you if you welcome change and welcome the idea of accepting people and situations for their actions/circumstances , for who/what they are, and even for their “mistakes”/ or for their unfortunate events and identifying that you no longer would like to put up for those things.
Someone apart of your spirit team is asking “why don’t you care about yourself more?” And that is a good question. There’s something here about giving and receiving and one sided situations or connections. A lack of boundaries or understanding. Situations that aren’t serving you that you’re in denial about… I’m hearing that you’ll miss out on opportunities or the chance to have a good life or live a better life if you continue to make the decisions your making or a lack thereof. Or if you continue to move in the direction that you’re moving in at this time. There is still this big emphasis on “you need to grow up.” Coming from your spirit team and it is not in a negative or harmful way but really truthfully saying that you need to learn to make good choices and be the energy that you’d like to receive or see in life and start making decisions about people and situations in your life. Accountability is coming up again. You may not be holding yourself accountable for your part in your own misfortune, in your own hurt feelings or your own pain. Repetition is coming up again, someone or something has revealed itself to you as it is repeatedly and you’ve not fully listened or have not listened at all or refuse to make the choice to really be done and over with it and move forward because it makes you uncomfortable to a certain extent but discomfort is necessary.
I hear, “I’m tired of watching you hurt.” To. You need to start trusting your intuition, you need to start stepping into your divine feminine energy and putting yourself first and practicing being in the energy of receiving good things and not allowing bad things to continue to play around in your energy. The subconscious mind is very significant and a past life regression may truly be something you need or something that will set forth a good amount of change within you.
You’ve dealt with a lot of betrayal and deception in the past from the people around you. Maybe even from the people closest to you, family, lovers and friends and it’s about time you stop letting people get away with these things and continue to be in your life after doing them. You could try to see the best in everyone or try to give people chances or the opportunity to change but sometimes even change isn’t enough to excuse those things. Nor does change mean that those people deserve to be in your life again, you may have to learn lessons about leaving people where they are indefinitely and that may be very hard for you.
You may need to stop being so forgiving here pile two. You need to find some balance and some moderation in your need to see the good in others or allow people space for change. There is a possibility to respect people or respect the possibility of change within someone and wish them growth and peace from a distance without ever involving yourself with them again. You need to understand that you can forgive someone without forgetting what they’ve done and continuing to give them access to you so you can let things go when it’s time instead of holding onto them pile two. You’re being unfair to yourself, you’re not holding people accountable especially the people who cause you the most pain, you’re being dishonest with yourself and probably being dishonest with others about where you stand and how you feel about their choices and actions. And you may be heart broken for a while having to move away or distance yourself from situations and people who’ve played these parts within your life but you will heal. That is what we all are sent down to live the human experience and do.
I am back, and I am better.
Wow, what a ride 2023 was. We achieved our goals and came out smarter and stronger.
The last post I created was 02/21/2023, when I started my 40-day social media detox. I took it a bit too serious, because I restrained myself from using social media way longer than those 6 weeks - simply because it was one of the most refreshing experiences I have made so far - but also because my year early on was quite turbulent and I needed the time to fully focus on myself. That being said, I would like to take the opportunity and reflect on my highs and lows of 2023 as well as set my New Year's goals straight for 2024. This is going to be a personal post - view my New Years Goals as something that might inspire you to pursue certain areas in your life as well. <3
My lows.
My grandfather died. I loved him dearly, and he was my last grand parent to be alive.
My boyfriend and I had a one month "no talk" break that was initiated by him; he came back and we are on good terms again. However, I've been since then seriously questioning our relationship, and things haven't been the same, at least for me.
I've met some great people this year, but also some that turned out to be false friends.
Despite my social media detox, I have found myself quite a lot on YouTube again lately. It is distracting me from important tasks and my goals and always leaves me unmotivated and mentally drained.
Since moving abroad for my Master's, I feel like I am losing connections to my old friends. This, combined with the fact that I have moved around a lot in the past three years, makes me miss deep relationships and deep conversations.
My highs.
I achieved my goal and enrolled in my dream Master's, a highly selective program with connections to very prestigious companies.
I secured a VC internship, just as I had planned.
I achieved excellent grades at uni and outperformed myself - in all subjects (except for one unfortunately, which was, however, a disaster for everyone).
I had the privilege to travel Europe and stay in the finest hotels.
My relationship with my body and mind have never been better. Ironically, it was specifically during the one month break with my boyfriend that I have taken self-care very seriously and my self-confidence has reached an all-time high during this time.
My social media detox. For most of 2023, I haven't been on Instagram anymore, allowing me to fully focus on my life and goals. And it paid off. The mental clarity I've gained is insane.
My goals for 2024.
Finance.
To keep track of my finances, set a budget, avoid making unnecessary purchases and increase my income.
To take my investments more seriously and start investing my money - otherwise it will just lose value. I have done it in the past, but I have not pursued it as thoroughly as I want it to be pursued.
To be more smart with my money. One of my worst financial habits was to defer certain purchases to the last minute (e.g. booking flights), in the end spending more money than actually necessary. Rich people don't get rich by wasting money. You get rich by keeping it and investing it wisely - into yourself and your future.
Beauty
To take care of my outer appearance every day and invest in good skin scare that will benefit me in the future as well.
To take care of my nails - I've never been to a nail salon before as I keep my nails rather short, without polish. My goal is to keep nice looking, natural nails throughout the year, done by a nailtech.
To elevate my style and get rid of old clothes that no longer serve me. Donate or sell them. Never underestimate the power of good looks - for every aspect in your life. Love, worklife, personal life. Like it or not - pretty privilege exists.
(Mental) Health
To keep my self-compassion and self-confidence high and put myself first, as I should; but to never become vain and self-absorbed.
To care for my body and regularly work out. My goal is to become phsyically stonger and increase flexibility; a lean body is great, but the goal is to continue becoming the fittest and healthiest version of myself. Everything else follows.
To reduce my phone usage, specifically social media, to 2h / day maximum. Your body is your temple, your mind the director of your life. Make sure to care for it - your future self will thank you.
Academics & Career
To keep full focus on my studies, attend lectures, pre- and post prepare lectures and stay on top of my assignments. My goal is to keep my GPA high and always strive to outperform myself.
To secure a summer internship that will help boost my career.
To be more bold and network with people more - in the end, everything is about good connections. Never underestimate your abilities. You are smart and strong - you wouldn't be where you are right now, had you not worked hard in the past. Your place in the world is deserved. You are an independent woman - ain't no man telling us what to do.
Personal Growth
To declutter. To get rid of old things that no longer serve me and create fresh space for good things to enter.
To become more confident on social media and post more frequently. It doesn't matter what others think of us - why would we care? Besides, I live an exciting life - sharing my moments might inspire other to aim high as well.
To start my own small business. To just start. I have so many ideas, yet have never started one of them. Progress over perfection. Fail fast, learn and move on. 2024 is the year we finally start our business.
To connect more. Yes, I am incredibly busy but nobody should wait for my response for TWO MONTHS. Reply faster, dare to reach out more. Leverage your connections.
To allow myself for conscious time-off. During stressful periods, I tend to focus on work and uni only. This is not productive. There needs to be time for sports, meeting friends and self-care. 2024 is the year we prioritize having free-time as well - it is incredibly important for a healthy brain and increased productivity. 2023 was amazing for my personal growth, and 2024 will be even more so. Let's do this.
I have created a very detailed Notion page with all my goals for 2024, broken down into why I want to achieve them, when I will have achieved them and what steps need to be undertaken to achieve them. What you see above is just a part of it - it is important that you make your goals SMART as well (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound) in order to hold yourself accountable and have a clear vision of where you are going.
I highly recommend you do the same - visualizing and writing down your goals are such powerful and important steps to achieve your goals.
Much love to you all. May 2024 be your year!
Miraculous: Tales of the Jungle Book - AU crossover
Tumblr media
Mowgli and Tikki - Ladybug
Tumblr media
Lala and Plagg - Chat Noire
Artwork by joesanchez involving the most underrated Jungle Book adaptation out there.
It all for free on YouTube no less. Search Jungle Book Nantoons and enjoy a hidden 1980s gem.
So... yeah. In a world of IP renewals and brand management, I wouldn't put it past Disney to try and cash in on The Jungle Book where Mowgli becomes superheroes with his friends not unlike The Lion Guard. Basically cashing in on Marvel and Miraculous all the while.
My idea would be a fifty-two episode animated series adapting concepts from Miraculous with some story and character beats from Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli. The first season would be a relaxed pace of thirteen self-contained episodes that lay the foundation for a much meatier Season 2 and onwards involving our Cat Noir to be.
So… what about the she-wolf turned catgirl?
Lala is based on Leela, a minor character from Rudyard Kipling's novel, and expanded on in an minor on again, off again role as Mowgli's, well, mean girl. The Chloe Bourgeois to Mowgli's Marinette. So... why here as Chat Noir...e?
Well... it homages the original plan for Felix to be the Cat bearer rather than Adrien with him being standoffish towards Marinette. Here it's more like Lala sees a need to prove herself against Mowgli and vice versa.
As Chat Noire, Lala is a lot more “likable” towards Ladybug both as a means to work together and to show the hidden depth beneath the priss she parades herself as.
It would play into the overall themes of identity and belonging, especially when new enemies enter the fray.
As for the premise:
”Deep in the heart of India, a pack of wolves help uphold the Law of the Seeonee Jungle with special jewels bestows upon them and allies of other species. These Miraculous were created in a time when man and wild lived together. When harnessing the power of the Kwamis, they deemed that a bearer would assume a human form if they weren't of man already.
This was to preserve secrecy of who had the jewels and the power themselves. Animals were considered suitable since humans already tended to underestimate their kind already.
However, a nasty vie for power in what would be known as the Cold Lair resulted in a schism between humans and the wild for generations to come. A new policy was decreed: the Miraculous could not be trusted with humans lest the world falls to ruin.
Shere Khan the Tiger, one such ally once upon a time, betrays them with the Butterfly Miraculous of Empowerment and slays Alexander the bearer of the Ladybug Miraculous. The fallen hero is survived by his wife and three sons, one of whom is an adopted human boy named Mowgli.
Inspired by his father's sacrifice, Mowgli becomes a young man-cub trained by Alexander’s closest friends in the ways of the wild and eligible to be considered as a Miraculous bearer. Other young wolves step up to be considered as future defenders of the Jungle as Tikki and Plagg scout them for potential heroes to face Shere Khan, now declaring himself as Hawk Moth.
Meanwhile, the power of destruction would go to somebody that would make the mystics themselves roll in their graves.
As Akela's granddaughter, Lala grew up to be a bitch in every sense of the human's derogatory term. She was often quick with a cutting remark and to take out her bad mood on others. Lala could also be a bit of diva when it came to holding her head up a touch too high. For older pack members, they knew that she was only going through what they saw as a tomboy phase with the lack of a mother figure. For younger members... no, she was pain full stop.
Especially towards Mowgli the man-cub. She'd often cut into his hunts if they crossed paths and show him up, especially to rub in how he'd never be a real wolf. The man-cub would hardly take it up the tailbone but rarely got the last word in. Lala was the most vocal to object to him joining the pack and even challenged him to hunt more prey than her to present to Akela if she wanted his vote.
Her grandfather agreed to this if only to propose that the younger members perform a hunting excersise as a way to prepare for Shere Khan. In truth, this was a cover for the Kwamis to scout their promising new bearers. Plagg found himself drawn to Lala when it came to her attitude and related to how she didn't care about how others saw her. His hand was forced when Tabaqui was akumatized by Shere Khan, now Hawk Moth, and turned into a rock beast.
Stone Heart interrupted Lala's hunt and chased her through the woods. Quick thinking and dodging bought her time to hide before Plagg revealed himself. Lala recognized the Miraculous as that of her father's, Vermillion, and felt her bravado get its second wind. Plagg was about to explain it all when she snatched the ring and slipped it onto her wrist, the camouflage charm allowing it to seem like any other accessory.
"Plagg, Claws Out!" Lala shouted. Plagg protested but was soon drawn into the Miraculous and transformed the wolf into a half-human half cat heroine. She even struck a pose upon revealing herself to Stone Heart as if she'd rehearsed for this very moment.
Chat Noire, as she declared herself, had trouble using her extendable staff and found herself on the run again. She was saved by her agility spiking but soon found herself on a cliff. Mowgli bailed her out with his boomerang and even caught her in his arms much to her embarassment. However, Stone Heart soon came crashing down. By instinct, Chat Noire grabbed Mowgli and extended her staff to vault him to safety.
All the while, Tikki was hesitant to consider Mowgli after feeling she left Alexander to die in order to save her Miraculous. However, an Akuma attack causes forces her to make her choice.
Though Lala's haughtiness showed, she played herself off as more playful and charming like the heroes she heard of. It helped that Ladybug's ingenuity earned her admiration when they purified the Akuma. Thanks to Mowgli's human spark of creativity, he's able to utilize the Lucky Charms even when they're of devices he never heard. She even felt a rare sense of guilt when Tabaqui admitted that Lala's sharp tongue made him vulnerable to Akumatization.
Before splitting up, the two heroez gave a fist bump to commemorate their first outting. However, they had to keep their identities mum to each other lest Hawk Moth got a hold of one and squealed on the other. They took their time bantering about while slinging and vaulting through the Jungle for practice. If they only knew that their new best friends had been their worst enemies...
The challenge ended with both Mowgli and Lala finding both their prey collection to have been snatched by scavengers. With the pair of them both losing, Lala scoffed and ate crow by giving her vote for Mowgli to stay. She even told the man-cub that she'll be sure to not let him outdo her. Sharing a cocky grin with her new rivals, something changed in Lala. Small but noticeable.
And thus, the most unlikely pair became the only things keeping Shere Khan at bay..."
More pics will follow as I crystalize this potential fanfic further with concept art.
number 3: house of leaves
Tumblr media
i have this one discord bot i keep dming stuff to so it's easier to get files through mobile to pc, and as a general list of things i don’t feel like saving anywhere else or wanna be reminded of. obviously as i keep adding stuff i forget about older things just like you do with your watch later on youtube. tuesday, december 21 of the year 2021 at 1:50am i sent this message:
Tumblr media
i know for a fact it's just because that's when i watched the game grumps play santa clause 3 but the point is that i've put it aside for quite some time now. as the years went on i'm pretty sure i've heard people mention the book here and there, but the thing that definitely made decide i want to read it is none other than the power pak myhouse.wad video, as i'm sure most people this year have experienced as well. sometimes it can feel intrusive for people in such a tight fandom to get bombarded with newcomers experiencing what you like in a completely different way because your niche thing now is more popular than ever, but i personally try to keep respectful about people's passions and i'm fairly realistic about it. yeah, i know you know about the doom mod, and it's cool, but let's focus on what's important. house of leaves.
"This is not for you." he said, well you can't tell me what to do johnny truant! gatekeeping is funny, i can't argue against it, and it's specially funny when the book you just opened is doing it to you. however, it usually seems with this book as if people treat it like some kind of evil secret thing you can only read and understand if you're fucked up and want to suffer. literature is a medium to share ideas and stories, stop making it out to be some kind of secret club. and to you reddit, please stop asking if you can skip the footnotes or a guide on how to read it, it's a book. just read the damn thing.
Tumblr media
if by any chance you're reading this and haven't experienced house of leaves yet, i encourage you to do so. not sure if the pinnacle of ergodic literature, but it's absolutely an experience like none other. i mean, look up the book on google images and it'll catch your eye in an instant. it's a book within a book, within a movie, within a story, within a house. the maze never ends, and the house is ever expanding. it may be the wrong decision, but fuck it, it's yours.
there’re two core sides to this story, johnny truant's delusions and ongoing madness over this book he's just found, and the story this book is describing. i honestly fail to understand how people get bored of what mark danielewski has managed to concoct here, as the introduction itself was instantly gripping to me. alike johnny himself, i could not put away house of leaves until i finished it in the span of around 2 weeks. the constant back and forth between the narrators in the story could seem daunting at first, but each one adds so much more to the experience, recontextualizing characters, or scenes, or the entire book in nothing more than a couple of lines (or multiple pages for a single footnote). it's like reading through the ramblings of a crazy man, except you are actually reading through the ramblings of multiple crazy men. ticking away slowly, unveiling whatever could be at the end of the corridor.
as unreliable narrators go, never being sure on what you're reading is real or not is what constantly pushes the mystery into the words. it's what we choose to believe in that can change it all. i distinctly remember the navidson record detailing a comparison between the director of a movie called "la belle niçoise et le beau chien" and the character we've been following, will navidson. this seemingly real film, is in fact, not real. nothing more than a fabrication. layers upon layers of commentary, description, analysis and characterization forever shifting with the things we say, write and read, may all be not much more than a lie. the power of words is not to be underestimated. it is in fact the words and how they're used what make this book what it is. be it the decision to give the word house a tint of blue, purposely leaving things vague when it's most important, or driving off into completely unrelated tangents about debatably irrelevant topics. you may gather all the clues you want, yet the authenticity of the events are for you to decide. the line between reality and fiction warps the more you go and it may as well keep expanding the further you walk down those stairs.
Tumblr media
1/4" can make the whole difference. the house represents many things. fear, uncertainty, secrecy, anxiety, suffering, peace, obsession, trauma. what goes in, may not ever leave, and what's outside, may not ever know. there's an overarching feeling of passion behind the actions the characters take. it's human nature to be curious, to solve the mysteries presented to us and to want to fix things with our own two hands. but what might look small, could very well be a lot bigger on the inside. more than you could've ever expected. "Passion has little to do with euphoria and everything to do with patience. It is not about feeling good. It is about endurance. Like patience, passion comes from the same Latin root: pati. It does not mean to flow with exuberance. It means to suffer."
there is a paragraph that i will not ever forget about, that i believe perfectly exemplifies the feeling of uncertainty of the unknown, not being in control and carrying the dread behind you:
"To get a better idea try this: focus on these words, and whatever you do don’t let your eyes wander past the perimeter of this page. Now imagine just beyond your peripheral vision, maybe behind you, maybe to the side of you, maybe even in front of you, but right where you can’t see it, something is quietly closing in on you, so quiet in fact you can only hear it as silence. Find those pockets without sound. That’s where it is. Right at this moment. But don’t look. Keep your eyes here. Now take a deep breath. Go ahead take an even deeper one. Only this time as you start to exhale try to imagine how fast it will happen, how hard it’s gonna hit you, how many times it will stab your jugular with its teeth or are they nails?, don’t worry, that particular detail doesn’t matter, because before you have time to even process that you should be moving, you should be running, you should at the very least be flinging up your arms—you sure as hell should be getting rid of this book—you won’t have time to even scream. Don’t look. I didn’t. Of course I looked. I looked so fucking fast I should of ended up wearing one of those neck braces for whiplash."
it has been argued house of leaves is a love story. i see it, and people have agreed as well, more as a story about love. family love, unrequited love, friendly love, love for small and big things, love for those and that you care about the most. the love that drives us forward to do what we do. granted it's mostly just semantics than a difference in genre, but it gives it a different meaning to me. the way words change how we perceive what surround us.
the open-ended nature of the book can leave things to be desired, but that may as well just be life. we're not sure about what's beyond, or what the meaning of it all is, yet we keep moving on. we strive for more, we want to make things right, but the corridor keeps expanding, and the further you go, the darker it gets.
