Last tv show/movie: Oh lord... I really don't watch tv much at all. As in... I've watched 1 show in the last 3 years, which is the Loki series.

Spicy/sweet/savoury: Mostly savory with a bit of spice. I do not usually like mixing sweet and savory. There's an Indian restaurant around here that makes great tikka masala and if I could only eat ONE meal for the rest of my life it would be that.

Last game: Minecraft. I was feeling a bit cynical after corporate put up some more ~woo~ feel-good brainwashing customer service posters so I fought back by putting up signs in my spooky scary underground dungeon saying shit like "positive vibes only" and a few other things that might be too much of a giveaway for where I work so I won't share them (YET!)

Last thing i google "do people seriously believe this crap?" with absolutely no added context because that's the mood I was in

thinking of a ouat x bbc merlin crossover where regina didn’t send everyone to a land without magic, she sent them to albion (by which i’m referring to the whole world not just britain) but since arthur died all those years ago and merlin IS magic and he’s seen the threat posed by magic existing within the world, he’s revoked everyone’s right to it so now it’s “a world without magic”

old man merlin feels a disturbance in the realm and knows that something magical beyond his control just happened and his first thought is arthur but the lake is still. he follows the odd tug towards the americas and then up north and then maine and then storybrook.

he poses as a homeless man and just watches everything go down. henry notices that despite EVERYONE else around him not aging or taking note of the passage of time as if he’s stuck in a time loop, this random old man is always doing something different. henry goes to him and rants about the curse and magic and (for the first time ever) he actually believes him.

merlin validates everything henry says while also trying to dissuade him from carrying the burden of destiny bc he knows how crushing that weight is. him and henry have a game where henry theorizes about what merlin’s life was like in the enchanted forest despite merlin’s insistence that he’s never been there.

old man merlin just hovering in the back of all the scenes and watching their weird magic that’s not at all like his but also sorta similar?? he doesn’t engage for a while until idk some big bad corners henry and merlin intervenes to protect him and henry is like “:O you have magic!!”

#tag talk #been playing a new minecraft world. went back to 1.12.2 to play Tektopia cause it's still hands down the best colony sim mod I've found. #and honestly it's a lot of fun to play without making big farms or anything. no elytra no iron farm no mob grinder just playing. #I did add the mod that gives you xp from harvesting crops because it makes enchanting gear way more accessible and I like it like that. #I also miss the old ore generation. strip mining isn't very fun so it's nice to be able to dig for all your ores in one place #having to dig for iron at ~y=0 and then dig a second time for iron at - 56 just fucking sucks. and deepslate is cool but sucks to dig throug #anyway yeah I've been just building a starter base first so I've got the resources to build and care for my town starting out #it's gonna be a forest vibe. town hall is gonna be up in a big tree in the center so I've been building that up rn. #oak logs + spruce planks really is pretty much the best combo ever. they look so good. I'm bad at making custom trees though so it's hard #idk what design I'm going for with the ground buildings. I haven't gotten there yet. I'm gonna lay out the paths first and then do buildings #get an idea of the shape of the town before I decide what the buildings are gonna look like when fitting in. lotsa leaf block hedges for sur #I also miss when fishing gave you better enchanted books. it was the best way to avoid having to do villager trading. #I got an autofish mod on latest version (1.20) and spent the entire night fishing with a maxed out fishing rod and got zero mending books #like. I don't want to be forced to do villager trading. they're trying to cut back and balance villager trading. #so why tf can't I get mending anymore. it's stupid. #I also put in a disenchanting mod that lets you transfer enchants from tools onto books so that's a good way to get mending from all those.. #all those extra fishing rods and bows that fish up once you already have a maxed one. #I need to make a second rod without luck of the sea so I can fish up more lily pads. I don't need anymore enchanted books #anyway. by I'm gonna go snooze in bed some more
