Gotta say I like how criminal minds went from season 1 where they at least save one victim or talk down the killer(s) or get out alright to season 2 where they open it with having one of the main characters almost die and then never letting you be that hopeful by having them be too late or having them not be able to talk the killer(s) down like do they get out mostly unscathed and successful a lot of the time yes but having that little inkling in the back of your mind that they could decide to do something like that really ups the suspense

you were trying to sleep in lucifer's bed while he finished the last of his paperwork of the day

but then he noticed you had basically burried yourself under a mountain of blankets, there were only like three documents left so

lucifer offered to get in the bed with you, so you can cuddle against him for warmth

Mammon

he is cold too, he's been complaining lately because it feels like sub zero temperatures in the house this time of the year

his solution was to just wear a ton of shirts to bed but you were still cold

so he just 'had to' hug you, now mammon feels too warm but your comfort is more important to him

Leviathan

the fact he sleeps in a bathtub doesn't help

like you touch one spot that hasn't been touched before and disney princess elsa's ice powers surge through you

best levi can do is offer you a bunch of blankets, he's a bit shy to initiate holding you

Satan

he was reading a book in bed with you next to him until he noticed you got awfully close to him, sleeping

satan concluded it was because of the cold, now he's scared to move in fear he'll wake you up

this is like the time a cat fell asleep on him at the cat cafe all over again, but he's not complaining he thinks you look really cute

Asmodeus

he complains about the cold too, he hates how his lips get chapped way faster than usual and all that stuff

but one good thing comes out of it: you get cold at night so asmo basically has a free excuse to hug you the whole time

if you still get cold he'll get some space heaters, he is straight up done with the cold

Beelzebub

he left to get snacks in the middle of the night only to come back and find you shivering from the cold

beel quickly gets back in bed so you can have your warmth source back, he kind of feels bad for leaving you

also the next day he gathers every fleece blanket at devilmart for you

Belphegor

actually he prefers to sleep in cold rooms, it helps his fall asleep faster

but there are times when it's too cold though, and for those times belphie has quality heat blankets, honestly just seeing you shiver made him grab them

Lucifer: Wine drunk by 11am hides it ALMOST impeccably.

Mammon: Helping in the kitchen because he wants to follow you around but keeps getting distracted by the Fangol game in the living room

Leviathan: Playing games in an armchair he will only leave twice over the next 6 hours

Satan: Sharing everything he knows about the REAL first thanksgiving and the brutal treatment of natives by the first North American colonizers.

Asmodeus: 4 outfit changes. Orchestrating beautiful table settings. The SECOND the table is he cleared he puts on the Christmas playlist Mariah Carey FIRST

Beelzebub: Was kicked out of the kitchen so he goes on a Turkey Run and then watches Fangol but is equally invested in the parade when Luke finally begs to put it on.

Belphegor: Food coma before the meal even begins. Food coma during the meal. Food coma after the meal. Just…move his legs aside it’s fine.

Diavolo: So fucking giddy. Splits his time between “helping” (getting in the way) in the kitchen, watching TV with Beel and Luke (and Mammon), and muttering things in Lucifer’s ear trying to get him to crack and laugh to prove how drunk he is.

Barbatos: Your loyal sous chef in the kitchen. Brought three different kinds of appetizers to sate everyone’s appetites.

Simeon: He and Luke took care of the desserts. He’s enjoying watching the tv and asking many questions, fascinated by all the strange human customs.

Solomon: Is designated bartender as a way to lure him away from the kitchen. Actually does a pretty decent job except for Belphie who wasn’t listening when Solomon offered “a surprise”.

Luke: Stars in his eyes. Absolutely aggressively committed to the whimsy. Threw his heart and sole into baking and then teared up when the singing float came on tv.

So you know that we had an eclipse in North America today and I saw a post about the brothers never actually observing an eclipse before and I had to write this.

"I don't get what's the fuss with this moon thing, the damn thing is there all day and night long every day, every year".

Lucifer's fingers rubbed his closed eyes as a sigh left his body, it was always the same thing when it came to his young brothers.

"We do not have a sun, idiot, that's what makes the trick", the yawny voice of the youngest of the seven uttered with a notable tone of annoyance, his eyes were closed but had they been opened, a roll in them would show how much irritant he found his older brother's words. 

"I find it romantic". Asmodeus sighed, "Satan told me all about human beliefs in legends and books. It's like a kiss between two lovers separated in time and distance, so they can only see each other once in a lifetime and share a love kiss".

Another sigh and a giggle followed that statement, however, the effect those words had left in the group made them stay quiet ever since they had been informed about the assignment regarding the 2024 solar eclipse up in the human world. Lucifer had been mesmerized for a while, but it was the first one to notice the thoughts going through his brothers' minds.

"No..."

"It should be a great occasion to visit the human world and get to see MC!"

Lucifer sighed once more, as he would usually do when they were around. 

"Yes!" The other five shouted. 

"And there will be food!"

"Wait, wait... hold on, you're not actually thinking on kissing MC? Are ya? Cus I'm not gonna allow it, no way under my watch".

"You're so predictable as always, loool". Leviathen mocked.

"Im not! I mean if someone had to do it, then it'd have to be the great Mammon, for I was her first ". 

"Can you please stop talking about being the first as suggesting intercourse and clarify it's all about a pact and you were the first just because you're the most stupid of us?" Satan rolled his eyes.

"Hey whadayamean by that? Show some respect to your older brother, besides..."

"Stop all of you" the eldest nagged at them. "This is no time to avoid your responsibilities, and certainly it's no time for interrupting MC's daily occupations, furthermore..."

The buzz of a phone interrupted his course of thought, his sharp gaze led him to Mammon, and his body, as it was an automatic response, he took the phone from his grasp despite his complaints, however, he was surprised to see, it had not solved the issue and all his brothers had stopped paying attention to him, as their attention had been drawn by the device in their hands. 

Another buzz coming from his pocket finally made him look at the screen of his phone:

 >>> It's crazy, I remember that back in primary school my science book said this year there would be a solar eclipse, and I was like "I'll be more than 20!, That's a long time from here". And the time is here, guys. I'm so excited.

The message had started a discussion with replies from his six brothers, that didn't lack enthusiasm.

>>> I know you cannot be here, yet, I got something for you. 

Lucifer pulled up the attached picture and he smiled as in her hand, there were seven pairs of funny glasses that were probably made of cardboard, and each one was in a different colour. His smile grew wider as he saw every pair had a handwritten word in it: their names.

>>> It's some kind of silly souvenir. I'll give them to you once we get to see each other again. I wish you were here.

A feeling of dread and nostalgia struck the eldest and a sigh escaped his lips again, although immediately afterwards he felt a persistent gaze on him.

"Lucifer", his brothers harmonised, and he stopped himself from rolling his eyes at them, just because he knew he could use his pleads to get a double benefit. 

"Only if you guarantee that you'll improve your grades". 

The six of them nodded in agreement, a tiny accomplice smile bloomed in their faces. That was the first benefit he acknowledged their little trip would bring as consequence. 

Only a few seconds after the door had been knocked at, it opened. A shocked expression followed by the brightest of smiles they had ever known welcomed them; a warm embrace was the cherry on top. That was definitely the second benefit he had foreseen. 

An unexpected third arose when they were reunited in the local park, all of them surrounding a bench under a tree; the blue sky suddenly was losing brightness, it was as it was getting cloudy, but no clouds were around, it felt different, it was an odd kind of darkness. The birds started flying towards their homes, and they went quiet, the sunlight was soon hidden by the moon. The pretty spring day had turned into night for a moment. Lucifer looked at his brothers, impressed by the phenomena, he also stared at his human and her excited smile. 

It was a brief spectacle, but it felt magical; a shiver ran down his spine as the solar ring was drowned in darkness, it sort of reminded him to when he had fallen out of grace but in a better sense, despite being so old, he had never lived such a show of the immensity of nature... everyone, including his six demon brothers, was admiring in awe at the sun being swallowed by the moon, while wearing their black glasses, while a person with a speaker explained the science behind it. 

When the sun shone again over their heads, the girl opened up their arms to hug them, a hug which all of them returned.

For some reason they were grateful to be alive in that precise point of time where all they had got to know each other, to spend time with one another, they were all glad to witness the event of the century together.

“quiet, quiet,” you hiss past giggles, steady belphie as he nearly trips over the shoes mammon had left in the entryway. “or do you want to wake all of your brothers up?”

“i am being quiet!” belphie replies. “as quiet as i can be given that i’m the one holding everything right now.”

“hey, you offered,” you say, rolling your eyes. you get the door for him, and the two of you let out a sigh of relief when you’re finally on serenity manor’s lawn. belphie spreads out the blankets while you squint up at the sky, orienting yourself. once you’ve spotted the big dipper, you lay down next to belphie, satisfied.

“alright,” you begin at your normal volume, snuggling into his side. “do you see that really bright star there? that’s the handle of the little dipper, or ursa minor. if you go from the north star, you can see the edge of ursa major, or the big dipper. see them?” belphie nods, so you go on.

“if you go the other way from the north star,” you say, demonstrating the path with your finger, “you’ll see casseopia. she was a very vain woman who posidon punished by chaining her to a throne in the heavens. she’s supposed to be sitting but it just looks like a crooked ‘w’ to me. then, past that, near jupitor, which is that vaguely reddish bright one out there, you can see pisces, the two fish.”

“hey, that’s what beel and i are,” belphie says, and you chuckle.

“you only know that because i told you. now, going back to the big dipper, if you go down from the inward part of the ladle, you’ll see leo. the backward question mark-looking part is his mane.”

you continue to point out planets and stars, explaining the history and stories behind the contellations as belphie asks. it’s only when he stops responding, breath evening out, that you stop, honestly surprised he lasted so long without falling asleep.

giving one last look to the stars, thinking of orion and the pleiades, or the hero and the seven nymphs, you turn onto your side, burrowing even deeper into his warmth, grateful that zeus hadn’t interfered with your pleiades.

Mc looked at the table and grabbed the 3 last bags and scanned the room to try and find Mammon

Mammon was standing nearby, enjoying each of the hand-made grimm chocolates that Mc had made especially for him.

" Mammon, I have some more things for you." Mc smiled at him a bit and handed over the bags. They could see the bit of red starting to appear on Mammon's cheek.

"Of course ya got more stuff for the great Mammon!" Mammon would start to tear open the gifts that Mc had gotten him. The first would reveal some gold jewellery with 'My first' engraved into the gold. As he opened up the rest to reveal a new leather jacket with his name sown into the back and a new belt. The final gift was a golden compas - well it didn't point north, it always pointed towards Mc.

Mammon's face turned red as he looked at the gifts Mc got for him. "I also got us a reservation at ristorante six tonight... Would you like to come with me-"

"Mc!" Asmodeus cut into the conversation as his arms wrapped around their waist. "Why didn't you get us some more gifts too! I would have loved some jewellery that you think I would like!"

Satan seemed to be calm, though his silent glares towards his older brother was easy to spot.

Levi was muttering how it wasn't fair how a scumbag like Mammon was getting more things from MC, clearly envious of Mammon.

Beel didn't really have a reaction, as long as Mc was happy, he would be happy for them - though he couldn't deny he was a bit jealous Mc liked Mammon more.

Belphie went to grab Mc's arm and leans his head on Mc. "Mc I thought we were going star gazing tonight. You, me and Beel." He didn't want Mc to go off with Mammon alone

Lucifer moved to place his hand on Mc's shoulder. "Apologise Mc, but Mammon is banned from going out." "What?!" Mammon shouted as he looked at Lucifer. "He failed his exams, so I believe that he should stay here and study. As to not waste your reservation - I can come with you to Ristorante Six."

Mc could feel Lucifer's jealously, but wouldn't comment on it. "It was meant for me and Mammon, I don't need to go if Mammon isnt-"

"Who says you are going Lucifer." Satan cut in the conversation. "I believe I should go."

"I will be going!" Asmodeus. "Mc loves me more!" Levi shook his head at Asmodeus. "I will be going with Mc!"

As the argument between all the brothers were happening, Mc went over to Mammon and grabbed his hand.

"h-" Mc made a motion to keep quiet as they pulled Mammon out the room so they could go on their date together at Ristorante Six.

This song is an absolute banger, so anyway—

The government had captured 7 individuals because there was a new deadly virus going around and they needed full time human subjects to find a cure but no one was willing.

Lucifer was amongst these subjects, and the constant testing and being treated no better then an animal drove him mad.

Soon the virus infected one of the workers by accident and it got into the facility, but even though the subjects were outnumbered soon, they escaped and realised that what the government had set out to do had worked, even if some of them had less… human appearances now.

They stayed in hiding for a while, as the infection spread to every corner of the earth.

Once most governments around the world were either eradicated or weakened, the seven subjects overthrew them with ease with the new powers they had gained from these experiments.

Earth became ruled by them, with each continent named after a sin (Lucifer rules North America now Pride, Satan rules Africa now Wrath, Mammon rules Australia now Greed, Asmodeus rules Europe now Lust, Beelzebub rules Asia now Gluttony, Leviathan rules South America now Envy and Belphegor rules Antartica now Sloth).

Because they could not be taken by the virus survivors began to go to them to have stable leadership who couldn’t be taken away by one wrong move with the illness.

Lucifer is definitely a crazed ring leader who tries to bring entertainment to people but his treatment at the lab and this whole apocalypse thing has him a little delulu ykyk. But a lot of survivors go to his shelter because he managed to preserve a lot of modern technology (not just literal tech but other contraptions too) and he is said to be the nicest of all seven leaders.

Criminal minds season 2 is insane. Some of the most creative and impactful plots of the entire series. Its not my favourite because I don't like gideon, but we have elle's shooting, elle leaving, emily's introduction, morgan's CSA backstory, reid's addiction, introducing will, setting up for gideon to leave!! Not to mention to iconic cases of the week - north mammon, jind allah, anton yelchin's episode.
