MC: We’re having a moment, aren’t we?
Belphie: If by 'a moment' you mean me not wanting to strangle you for the first time since we met, then I guess we are.

“quiet, quiet,” you hiss past giggles, steady belphie as he nearly trips over the shoes mammon had left in the entryway. “or do you want to wake all of your brothers up?”
“i am being quiet!” belphie replies. “as quiet as i can be given that i’m the one holding everything right now.”
“hey, you offered,” you say, rolling your eyes. you get the door for him, and the two of you let out a sigh of relief when you’re finally on serenity manor’s lawn. belphie spreads out the blankets while you squint up at the sky, orienting yourself. once you’ve spotted the big dipper, you lay down next to belphie, satisfied.
“alright,” you begin at your normal volume, snuggling into his side. “do you see that really bright star there? that’s the handle of the little dipper, or ursa minor. if you go from the north star, you can see the edge of ursa major, or the big dipper. see them?” belphie nods, so you go on.
“if you go the other way from the north star,” you say, demonstrating the path with your finger, “you’ll see casseopia. she was a very vain woman who posidon punished by chaining her to a throne in the heavens. she’s supposed to be sitting but it just looks like a crooked ‘w’ to me. then, past that, near jupitor, which is that vaguely reddish bright one out there, you can see pisces, the two fish.”
“hey, that’s what beel and i are,” belphie says, and you chuckle.
“you only know that because i told you. now, going back to the big dipper, if you go down from the inward part of the ladle, you’ll see leo. the backward question mark-looking part is his mane.”
you continue to point out planets and stars, explaining the history and stories behind the contellations as belphie asks. it’s only when he stops responding, breath evening out, that you stop, honestly surprised he lasted so long without falling asleep.
giving one last look to the stars, thinking of orion and the pleiades, or the hero and the seven nymphs, you turn onto your side, burrowing even deeper into his warmth, grateful that zeus hadn’t interfered with your pleiades.

The Obey Me Brothers And Their Worst Nightmares Pt 3 (Beel and Belphie)
Part 1: Lucifer and Mammon Part 2: Levi, Satan and Asmo Part 3: Beel and Belphie
Notes: It took me way longer than expected to get this part out.
Warnings: death in Beel's, also graphic descriptions of blood and injuries
Characters involved: Beelzebub, Belphegor
Beelzebub
The battle was more intense than they had thought. Angels and humans alike dropped like flies across the bloodied battlefield as the divine beings fought over their principles.
Minutes and hours blurred into one another as time itself seemed to come to a stop.
Beelzebub had long lost sight of his siblings, with the onslaught of angels attacking them forcefully splitting the eight angels apart.
Thankfully, their connection allowed Beel and Belphie to remain together even as foes kept them at an arm's distance, with his brother's mop of dark blue hair never quite leaving his line of sight.
Their proximity helped calm Beelzebub's racing heart even as he fought one enemy after another. However, the sense of calmness was quickly replaced with trepidation the second he felt his stomach drop.
The feeling had him turning on his feet as Beel sought out his brother's face in the crowd of enemies, with his fear only worsening once he saw Belphie's face, and the sword pointed directly at it.
However, that one horror didn't seem to be enough for fate, for beyond Belphegor's shoulder Beelzebub noticed their beloved sister Lilith turning her back towards an archer with a perfect shot at her heart.
His reaction was almost automatic, with Beel's feet dragging his body towards the archer in question before he could think twice.
Before he could realise that while the arrow aimed for his sister wasn't airborne yet, the sword pointed at his brother's neck certainly was real.
He thought that he could save them, save her. Yet as Beelzebub watched his spear drive through the archer's chest, his stomach only dropped further, for he had been too late.
The arrow had been fired, and just as he had predicted, hit its mark perfectly.
The wound was enough to have Lilith fall to her knees as her right wing all but ripped from the top, causing it to break and create a sudden imbalance that had her tumbling further until Beelzebub could only watch as his flightless sister fell over the edge.
A raw scream echoed around their part of the battlefield, yet even as horror and dread painted his face Beelzebub couldn't help but whirl on his feet, for that guttural yell of pain hadn't come from him.
It had come from Belphegor.
Belphie, who he could have saved but hadn't. Belphie, who had turned to him for help knowing that Beel of all people was the one he could rely on to save him.
Belphie, who now fell to the ground on his knees with his hands clutching at the gash across the front of his throat, a wound so deep that the hot blood gushing from it began to drip past Belphie's elbows to pool near his feet.
As tears slipped past his eyes, Beelzebub couldn't do anything but watch as his twin brother's light began to fade.
He couldn't do anything but lock his eyes with a pair so awfully similar to his, a pair of eyes that too pooled with tears and blood as Belphegor took his final breaths.
Beelzebub had been given a choice that day. A choice to save one of his siblings from a cruel death or watch them both die. Yet in his pursuit to create another option, one that was impossible, Beelzebub had condemned himself to the worst possible outcome of that situation.
He had lost both Belphie and Lilith.
And it was all Beelzebub's fault.
Belphegor
He was there again.
The attic room felt almost suffocating as Belphegor gazed around, noticing how all the little changes that had been made over the past few weeks, things like new plushies or a lack of clutter, had all been reversed.
Almost as if it had all been a dream, as if Belphegor had never escaped the attic in the first place.
The thought made a deeply unsettling feeling take root within his chest as he sat up from the bed, allowing himself to take in everything in the room.
Everything including the seemingly modified far wall. A wall that was made of glass.
However, it was not that change that had Belphegor scrambling back until the back of his knees hit the bed, no, it was what he could see past the glass wall.
He was in the living room.
Or rather, he was able to see the living room.
Usually, such a sight would have made him feel better, but instead the ability to watch his brothers interact with one another and act like everything was fine, like their youngest brother wasn't missing, hurt beyond what he could comprehend.
The worst part was being able to see Beel.
He didn't know how he had expected his brothers to react, but it certainly wasn't with nonchalance.
Throughout his time in the attic, Belphie had never quite felt as alone and desperate to get out as he did at that moment, with the sudden change causing him to sink back onto his bed.
His absence didn't matter. His brothers didn't care about him.
Beel didn't care about him.
The realization drove Belphegor to try and escape his situation, throwing one item after the other at the glass wall aimlessly and watching as the structure remained intact without a single crack.
There was no way to escape, no way to return to his family.
And even if he could return, was there any point? Would his brothers rejoice at the return of their brother who was wronged, or wish for him to go back to where he came from?
Perhaps, Belphegor was always meant to be alone.

I had a weird dream with Obey Me!
We were in House of Lamentation but it looked more like a classic haunted broken down mansion
There was a floor with a little church thing in it and apparently that’s where Mammon gets sent to idk I forgot what he said to me some sort of detention
There was two girls and they were like supposed to replace me but I was aware of that fact and just did what a host would do. Treat them kindly and make sure they’re comfortable
There was Christmas decorations that isn’t really Christmas decorations..It was blueish bushes with lights everywhere in the big ass living room and I went sonic mode and removed them to put them in the storage room
(Somehow it operated like a game..I was holding the bushes but when I get closer to the storage rooms door it disappears)
Oh and the brothers turned from their usual looks to kids putting back decorations
Satan was even actively removing everything and said something like “Lucifer will get mad if he sees all the decorations haven’t been removed” while also going sonic mode
Beel turned into a little elf which was cute
Right after I put the decorations back the two women were gone (Well to be more specific it was one woman and one little girl who I think accompanied the woman bc she’s her sister), everyone was gone, and the mansion looked broken down. I was alone in that living room
I was exploring the place trying to get out and I can’t remember how I met up with Mammon..He just magically was there in my memories Mammon was back to his usual look and not like a kid
We found the church room I said at the very top and I asked him (multiple times bc he was too busy rambling to listen to me) which floor we were on (In my mind we were at the second last floor of the mansion but didn’t say it out loud) he said “I don’ know! Like I said this mansion is infinite!”
Then we went down some definitely not safe stairs
It was one of those spiral-ish stairs with a few broken steps in obbys
I had to parkour to get down because the gaps are so wide
Somehow while we were going down the stairs though Mammon knew but a certain fact of my grandpa and we “talked” about that (I was just making a few comments and not paying attention 100% to him)
Anyways, we got out of the mansion.
I saw the other brothers (With the exception of Luci) trying to cross a river and I sprinted towards them, climbed the fence, left Mammon a bit behind, and watched them try to cross the river (everyone is also back to their original size and looks)
Beel had no problems as he’s very tall
Levi got soaked, Asmo tried and failed so he asked Beel for help, Satan did it and kinda boasted/bragged he could do it without any help, Belphie was just waiting for his turn and asked Beel to carry him across, and I stepped into the water felt that it was too deep and asked Beel for help which he granted
Mammon didn’t catch up but I heard him say something like “Wha— Don’ leave me!” And my dream ended

Waking with a gasp, you sit up, hand on your heart. It thrums beneath your skin, fast-paced, almost like a rabbit’s, and a wretched feeling rises in your gut. Nightmares truly are the worst.
Hands shaking slightly, you light the candle next to your bed, filling your room with flickering light. The light is a comfort, allows you to truly reassure yourself that you’re alright, and you feel a little silly even as adrenaline still flows through you.
You’re shaken, that much is clear, and you know from experience that falling asleep again would be a herculean task, but you also don’t wish to be stuck in bed. You’re of the mindset that time spent awake should be, for the most part, time spent productively, so you maneuver yourself free from your covers, shivering as the cool night air hits your legs. Your robe, thankfully, is within reach, and you hastily wrap yourself, tying the band into a simple bow. Perhaps some water would do you well.
Creeping out of your room, you make your way down the long hallway, candle doing almost nothing to illuminate your way. The dark stone walls seem to suck the light (and heat!) right into them, and it’s a bit unnerving, even as you do your best to press on. You eventually come to the split in the hall you’re well familiar with, as one way leads to the kitchens, and the other to the attic you've been instructed to stay away from.
As it did every time you passed, curiosity prickles under your skin. What could be up there and why aren't you allowed to see? And it seems as if the other brothers were prohibited from going up as well, which only made the mystery even more inviting.
Your resolve is slipping and you knew it. It is only natural for you to want to go up– you had free reign of the rest of the manor, aside from this one part…
You shouldn’t.
Even as you tell yourself to turn around, to go back to bed, your bare feet climb the stone steps. Anticipation rushes through your veins, replacing your earlier fear, and you begin to move more quickly, candle sputtering as you go. The steps seem endless but you plow ahead, and finally, finally, you reach the top. You can’t make out what lies ahead of you, and yet you walk forward bravely, coming to a door.
But door isn’t the right word. It’s more reminiscent of a gate, as you can see metal bars stretching from the floor to the ceiling, empty space between them. Bending down to get a better look at the handle, you examine the large pad with a keyhole, made of the same sturdy metal as everything else.
“You’ve finally come,” a voice speaks from deep within the locked room, and you jump back.
“Who’s there?” Dimly, you can make out a black mass of shadows moving towards the door and you back up further, wanting to stay well out of arms reach.
As the shadows get closer, you see that it’s a man, surely a demon. His expression is inviting, posture non-threatening, but something about him just seems off and it puts you on edge. “My name is Belphegor. I’ve been calling to you, haven’t you heard?”
That at least explained some of the weird feelings you’ve been getting, the stron g urge to climb the stairs. The name niggles something in your memory, and you gasp. “Belphegor? But I thought you were in the human realm as part of the diplomacy program?”
Belphegor visibly fights off a scowl, only making you more confident in your wariness. “Is that what he’s been telling everyone? That bastard.”
“Why have you been calling to me?” you press, and Belphegor shakes his head slightly, expression clearing back into that slightly-wrong kind one.
“Don’t you see, my lady? We are meant to help each other,” Belphegor insists, wrapping his hands around the bars of the gate-like door. “We were meant to find one another.”
“Why do you think that?”
“I just know,” Belphegor says, and you have to admit, his answer doesn't fill you with very much confidence.
“How am I supposed to help you?” you ask. “Furthermore, how are you supposed to help me? As far as I’m concerned, there is nothing that I need.”
“Oh, really?” Belphegor asks. “So you don’t hunger for knowledge? To be understood as your own person, no longer in the shadows of those around you?”
You scowl; how does he know these things? It's probably just a lucky guess. “So what if I do? As far as I’m concerned, those are only natural wants. And I want to be known for my own skills and talents, so your help wouldn’t exactly be productive to those goals.”
Again, his expression darkens. “I can give you power. Fame. Anything you want.”
“I don’t want any of those things,” you reply resolutely. “Now, how should I be helping you? What do you need help with.”
“What do I need help with?” Belphegor spreads his arms wide, gesturing to the room he’s locked in. “Lucifer’s been keeping me captive here. He’s been lying to everyone, including Diavolo, and saying that I’m in the Human Realm.” He scoffs. “I don’t know how anyone believed him.”
You don’t really want to ask what that’s supposed to mean, but you have a feeling that it’s not good. His derision - for Lucifer, for Diavolo, even the Human Realm - is cutting, and it fills you with sour unease.
“If Duke Lucifer has chosen to keep you up here, I can only imagine it was for a good reason,” you say. “Typically prisoners are prisoners for a reason.”
“You know nothing,” Belphegor snarls suddenly, and you back up a few more steps. He sees this and stills. “You know nothing,” he repeats again, softer. “Lucifer is a poor leader, too busy pleasing Diavolo to actually do things that will help the Devildom. Help us. I told him this, and instead of responding rationally, he locked me in here, silencing me swiftly. You are new here, and do not yet understand. Please, free me and I can explain it to you better.”
You shake your head rapidly. “I don’t believe that that would be a wise decision. Belphegor, you’ve given me no reason to trust you, and simply being near you sets me on edge. Why would I unleash someone potentially very, very harmful and dangerous simply because he asked? It’s not happening.”
“You’re just like the rest of them.” Belphegor’s eyes begin to glow, and you know that spells danger for you. Without waiting another moment, you turn on your heel and rush down the stairs, uncaring that your candle goes out. Belphegor’s calls echo behind you, at first plaintive and kind, but as you get further away, fury and darkness edge into it, until by the time you reach your room he’s practically howling, the sound bouncing through the halls. Surely, you’re not the only one who can hear them?
It’s only when you throw your door closed behind you and slide the lock into place that the calls cease, leaving unnerving silence behind. You know better than to think that you’ve seen the last of Belphegor, but you know there’s nothing you can do about it. If he can urge you to him once, who’s to say he can’t do it again? The thought chills you to the bone.
Settling heavily into your desk chair, you relight the candle, setting it on your writing desk. What to do? You’re sure the duke would be furious if he knew you’d gone up there, assuming Belphegor’s tantrum hadn’t woken him, but you don’t think keeping silent would be a good idea later.
And on top of that, surely locking Belphegor up in the manor wasn't the only option? And telling no one about it, even the prince… well, it just seemed suspicious. Maybe telling Duke Lucifer was out of the question at this time.
Resolving to sit and think about it, you pick up your tasks, knowing that there was no way that you’d be getting any more sleep that night.
