#litterally so against dog earring pages #mot even like personal preference but every single librarian i've ever met has STRESSED not to do that and now i just cannot bring myself t #it feels like a crime #also the crease is just so ugly to me #as for the 'keep pristine or markup' it depends but i almost always(9.9/10) would keep it pristine #i only ever mark it up if i don't give i shit about the book and have to find a way to keep myself interested #or if it's for school and i have/want to annotate #tbh i love friends to lovers but you can never go wrong with enemies to lovers #it's a top tier trope #paperback is great but hardcover is just so nice for me #don't get me wrong #i ADORE paperback books #but hardcover feels so nice to hold and you don't have to worry about the front curling and it just looks nice #but paperback is so nice as well #they both have their pros and cons #i love stand alones #so much #forever and always #series are good too but they will never be as good as stand alones #books #reading #literature #can this fall into the fanfiction tag?#fanfiction #mutuals 🤍
