bits of dreams I found in my drafts and don't want to waste

I was at the front of my aunt's house, talking to another woman. There were more people there, and I don't know who they are, but in the dream i knew. So at some point we knew something dangerous was coming, and we hurried everyone to go inside, that we couldn't be there when the thing came. But at the time I was entering, I saw a shadow and I felt something coming in too, touching my ankle. No one else saw it, and they locked the door.

I kept trying to tell them we were not alone, that the thing was already inside with us, but everyone was in such a hurry no one would listen to me.

So everyone got ready to sleep, but I was so worried I didn't get a place for myself, so the woman who I was talking before told me to sleep with her, so I did. But yeah she was sleeping in the stairs, and it wasn't very confortable, but we shared her blanket, so it was warm.

We were all kinda sleeping, kinda afraid, when we heard movement, and then the shadow was at the door trying to attack us. It was a whole mess, then two men of our group got him, but it wasn't a shadow guy anymore, it was this loooong piece of fabric, and they were rolling it to go get rid of it, and we were cheering and all.

So, I have this old photocopy of the picture I drew of my dream life back in 1999, when my son was a baby and my daughter was 10, and I was dating this wonderfully perverted half- Japanese guy who was also a writer (so good at smut!), and he even actually asked my dad if he could marry me. We would have a cabin not in, but near, the woods, have a garden and grow a lot of our own food, and the kids would have a father figure. Then he went to sea (we were both in the Navy), and we wrote and called for a couple of months, and he sent us gifts from Greece and Turkey, and then one day I stopped hearing from him.

But oh, well, the picture lives on, and I figured I'd better take a picture of it before it gets destroyed by the 14 cats I have to share a house with. (I'm not the crazy cat lady, but I live with her.)
