Commission - Lady of the Great Synthesis

A commission for a client of their sona as an agent of the Progress Engine!

This piece was especially interesting, considering it was a three-way combination of three franchises: World of Warcraft, Resident Evil, and Magic: the Gathering. Designing the compleated form of the sona was especially fun, as well as the Phyrexian version of the environment (this and the overall composition of the piece is a nod to Dimitrescu’s Chambers from Resident Evil: Village)!

#robot unicorn attack #flash #i actually played this before the original robot unicorn attack lol #and i still like it better #for those who did not play: the difference between this and the original #is that in the original you just keep running and smashing stars while progressively getting faster #while here if you smash three stars in a row without missing one or losing a life you transform into a different animal #and all of them move slightly different like the panda is more clunky etc #and i liked that a lot. gives the game a feeling of progress and is more challenging #i screenshotted the wolf because it's my favorite out of the ones i could reach

Can people please stop saying "Even the best modern CGI will look bad and dated in a few years!" when trying to make a point omg. That was true in CGI's infancy but it's just not now. Plenty of animation from a decade ago holds up damn well today

Might piss people off by saying this but I like being British, I like the fact I was born in England. Not in a weird nationalistic way but in a 'this is my home and I have fond memories of this place' kinda way. The way some of you (a lot of you) place being born anywhere in the UK into the box of moral failing is disgusting. Yes our past is absolutely abhorrent and our present really isn't much better but it's not about that, it's about the people, actual living people and the wide variety in culture here.
